So me and my friend @golubayasoyka have started building the magnus institute in Minecraft. We are using this map from reddit with a few deviations

From there we decided to build the bottom floor first with these amazing computers (built by me)

But here's a tour I did while it was mostly done. Missing a few details the trapdoor by the entrance, and the stairs weren't finished but those come later

We then added stairs "to the next floor" we are making this all separate as it's easier to build complex things that way.

At this point soyka had to come off and I did the second floor, the entrance, mostly by myself with help from a couple friends with pallets and the like. This is where I deviated from the floorplan above have the reception at the beginning while leaving places like the librarians office and admin/hr.

I then worked to the walls and the smaller rooms. Such as the librarians office pictured below

Then as the last thing for now I started the roof and lighting, since this is to be built in survival I used frog lights which I can just make a farm for.

Personal complaint or PSA or whatever about either of the stans x reader fanfiction, or any male character x reader fanfic, if you're writing fanfiction with smut, and your reader is AFAB and not male, please do *not* tag your work as M/M. Even if the reader is gender-neutral. As an AMAB person it is super frustrating when I am looking for a x male reader fanfic and I filter just for M/M works and find mostly AFAB gender-neutral reader results tagged as F/M and M/M. And filter-excluding F/M removes potentially good gender-neutral reader fics that don't describe an AFAB nor AMAB reader. There's not many AMAB people in fandom in my experience, much less cis masculine people, so people like me have a hard time finding quality gay smut describing a reader with a pickle for their private instead of three tooshie holes.

Point is, I and the other AMAB people looking for male character x male reader fanfic would appreciate it if authors didn't tag their AFAB gender-neutral reader fics as M/M.

a remaster of this old comic with a less happy ending. their story has changed a lot since that first go round but i loved the idea of it so i figured i would revisit it. story details below if you’re interested

image 1; atheris and lazarus are young kittens together, they’ve known each other their entire lives and are best friends. their halos signify their patron deities, lazarus’s representing The Star and atheris’s representing The Spinner. the path is open before them and they move forward in unison

image 2; now adolescents, atheris and lazarus are faced with a raid from their neighboring clowder the ridges. lazarus’s adopted father and the second in command of their clowder (the keys), nerros, is assassinated outside their gorge while a larger group keeps those in the gorge distracted. after the battle is over, lazarus leaves the gorge in a hurry to find his father and atheris chases after him. they come across his corpse just above the gorge and in this moment lazarus comes in direct contact with his deity of justice and blood, The Star, festering in his father’s body. The Star reveals to him the origin of the rivalry between the keys and the ridges and chooses him as her envoy to put a right to this wrong, as well as informing him of three others to be chosen for this mission. faced with the depths of his loss, lazarus accepts.

image 3; months after nerros’s death, lazarus stagnates and falls into a deep depression. he knows, realistically, that he and atheris long since should’ve left for their mission, and yet cannot will himself to action. he isolates himself from everyone, including his best friend and concerned mother alaura, unable to recuperate from his loss. for the first nights since kithood, atheris sleeps alone. dismayed by his friend’s tragedy, atheris forcibly inserts himself back into lazarus’s life. he pushes his way into his nest and sleeps by his side after months of separation. during this time period, atheris begins connecting himself to the ideology of The Spinner, the deity of fortune and chaos, and uses her image as a way to bring lazarus back to himself. slowly but surely, lazarus begins to come back around.

image 4; recovered enough from his despair to move forward, lazarus and atheris depart from the key’s gorge and set foot towards the ridge’s mountainous peaks. during the journey the two grow closer than ever and the boundaries of their relationship begin to blur. atheris denies his feelings and while lazarus is aware of them, he refuses to act on unsaid emotion and denial. nevertheless, the two are happy.

image 5; upon arrival at the edge of the ridge’s territory, the two keys mask their scents and disguise themselves as strangers. they enter their peaks and are greeted by a patrolling party, where they introduce themselves as wanderers looking for refuge for a few days while atheris recovers from an illness. the ridges grant them hospice and allow them to stay in their plateau for as long as they need.

while there, the two meet another cat their age by the name of vespertine with markings suspiciously similar to lazarus’s. vespertine and lazarus come to realize that they are biological siblings, with their mother abyss being their only relation within both clowders. their father was an outsider named umber that abyss very quickly fell out of love with when he asked her to let him join the ridges. she cast lazarus out the night after the two were born (due to his strong resemblance to umber), leaving him to the wolves at the edge of the ridge’s territory. nerros and alaura, patrolling the border that same night, took lazarus with them back into the depths of the woods. despite keeping vespertine with her, abyss never truly loved her and left her to be nursed by another mother while she returned to her duties. it is revealed in this that vespertine is truly the one chosen by The Spinner, displacing atheris’s strong belief in her and destroying fundamental constructs he had built himself around.

atheris, unnerved by lazarus and vespertine’s newfound relationship and displacement of his sense of self, begins acting out just to keep lazarus away from her. in a heated confrontation, atheris pushes vespertine away from lazarus and she lashes out back at him, bringing his compulsive jealousy to a head. the situation explodes when the deity The Progenitor, the first of the four and god of creation, finally manifests in atheris’s unyielding hurt and shaken fundamentals. atheris attacks vespertine with the intent to kill, completely lost in a bloodlust thrall, and is only stopped when lazarus physically intervenes. the confrontation ends with vespertine severely wounded and lazarus’s nose ripped open. atheris, even more devastated by lazarus’s seeming betrayal, asks him why he no longer loves him enough to stand by his side in the face of the enemy. lazarus, baffled and heartbroken by atheris’s behavior, casts him off with a warning that if he ever sees his face again, he would be shown what happened to that love in the same way vespertine had to.

image 6; atheris leaves the ridges and returns home to the keys. he tells everyone that they failed their mission, that peace between the ridges and the keys would never be possible. he says that their deities are liars and sent them on a fool’s errand. warfare is the only possible outcome between the two clowders and a union would never be made so long as the ridge’s continued to remain unabashedly violent. he tells alaura, lazarus’s mother, that lazarus was killed in combat as soon as they arrived, and that he was held prisoner before he was finally released. lost in the worst culmination of The Progenitor’s embodiment and festering in his own misery and failure, atheris rests his head in lazarus’s former nest one last time. it is here the time loop begins and when atheris wakes up in a completely different world, he has a feeling that The Spinner had never truly forsaken him.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
