“I tried to,” he amends, “They fell apart when I test rode them into town, but I found professionally crafted sleds after I arrived.”

“Kyojuro, I can’t believe you made us sleds.”

“Yes, well, they are fueling the fire now.” 😅

“That’s fine,” you grin softly, sleepy gaze finally focusing enough to take in the shimmering adoration of your lover, his enthusiasm rivaling—and beating—the coziness of your blankets, “Sledding in ten minutes?”

“Knowing you, this is going to end with you sledding yourself into oblivion and me desperately scrambling to the bottom of a cliff in tattered hopes of saving you.” 😐

He blushes faintly, staring down at his knees with a quiet sigh

“But I guess all it takes to topple the mighty Water Pillar is a wooden sled.” 🤭

“I told you I’ve never done this before.”

You hate to see him so crestfallen ☹️

“You were doing so well.” 🥹

He smirks knowingly, “This is the third bush.”

“The steering isn’t intuitive?” 😅

“The third bush in about five meters.”

You stand up, your sled in one hand as you brush excess snow off your pants with the other

Giyuu snorts, “Do you want to end up in a bush?” 🙃

“With you?” you grin, leaning down to kiss his cold forehead, “Absolutely.” 🥰

“What if I hit a tree?” you pout

The hill is very hilled, and the trees at the bottom look very… tree-y 😵‍💫

Tengen shrugs, “You’re not going to hit a tree.”

“How do you know?”

“Because you’re smarter than that,” he replies airily

You pause, “Am I though…?”

Hello to everyone! I'm super happy and excited to announce that another one of my wips has reached beta stage. It's a series of two books: with Remains of a Night being the first, and Aberration of Sunlight wrapping up the story. In purple fields of forget-me-nots, a broken helmet rests. It's the Fourth Dive of Procyon.

The Beast of the Deep Night has long turned into a cataclysm. Now it vies to extinguish humanity. The stars are slowly being tugged its way, and one day they will all Dive inside its void maw. This is the current outlook, in the planets' neon nights of bleakness and numbness. Alexander Madigan, police Superintendent of his planet, is definitely not where he should be. But with the world at an end, and a distress call breaking the silence of his office, he decides to investigate the truth behind the cataclysm. Even if that may draw its lambent eye his way.

He doesn't think his life matters more than the young marine's on the other end, who he wishes he could bring home.

Ages before their reality, the crew of another ship does its best to preserve their own lives. Things have become complicated though: with the addition of a new recruit, and while the Beast is merely a cautionary tale in their time, their impression is that it might have just come to their ship. Nor does it bode well that they have the most selfish human on the journey with them.

This all started out of my love for Halo, (if you share it, I salute you!💞) and for the idea of a creature that could hear the whisperings of the universe to it. Boy, were they bloodthirsty.

It's an advanced draft, I went ham on the editing!🥳🤣 so if any typos have dodged my attention... (they always do, the little fuckers), I will be super grateful if you found them. Otherwise, the standard; characters, plot, odd phrasing (this isn't 'quiv, so the writing is standardly clear. Still, if there's anything that makes you squint, I want to know). I do have lists of questions for each chapter, but you can opt out of it and comment free style.

All my first thoughts are over here. I'm a Clace defender, I'm their oldest stan, I'm a veteran👩‍🦳 So I feel like I have a right to say that...it was kinda unnecessary. We've witnessed every step in their relationship so far, beginning of it in TMI, gentle transition to adulthood in TDA and Tales of Shadowhunter Academy, adulthood in SOBH and proposal. So if the story isn't about their wedding then WHAT THE HELL IS IT ABOUT REALLY? And we know that they won't get married until twp.

Lots of people defend it by saying that it might be important for Ash's background in TWP. But... No it's not. Because this is exclusive book made for few people who were lucky and financially stable enough to get it. It won't be posted online. So most people won't read it unless someone leaks it. So there's no point for that story to be important for the plot, therefore it has nothing to do with it.

And it's definitely not "one of the most beloved" couples. BUT LIKE... WHAT IF IT SLAYS? Toxic, unhinged romance, what if I'll love it? 🤡

I expect it to be bittersweet, angsty and somehow heartwarming. I think there's nothing to say except let's wait and find out.

DAY AT HOME.

tangerine x fem!reader — fluff

It was the first morning since Tangerine returned home from a mission, and as if it was muscle memory, both of you had slipped back into routine - doing things together as if no time had passed.

It all started with cuddles in bed as you adjusted to the day, snuggled into his side as he played with the ends of your hair - fingers twirling the strands as you both looked out into the gloomy sky through the window. Peace and quiet, and the way it should be - Tangerine back home safe.

After a little while lounging in the warmth of the bed, you reluctantly followed his orders to get up, though you were far too comfortable to move. So, to him, the only way to get you out would be the promise of a shared shower, and naturally, it worked like a charm.

Once both of you had washed and dried, you dressed for the day in comfy clothes, him in pyjama bottoms and a plain tee, you in sweats and one of his hoodies.

Each of you make your way downstairs, heading for the kitchen as if it were instinct to prepare breakfast together. Doing things seamlessly, as if neither of you had to think about it - you were washing and cutting fruits while he peeled and cubed potatoes on the counter next to you. Without as much as a discussion, you made your favourite breakfast. The room filling with smells of cooking and sounds of faint laughter, kisses and small taps on the ass.

You ate at the kitchen table, sat side by side, joined at the hip as you eased into the late morning.

After cleaning the mess of making breakfast and letting your food settle, you both head for the living room - one of you closed the curtains while the other flicked on the lamps, wanting the space to be cosy. Both settling on the sofa under the blankets, you snuggle into your lover's side as he works the tv controller.

Many hours and movies go past before either of you realise the time - far too occupied with one another to check your phones. After elaborate discussion and debate, you finally decide what to order for your dinner and settle on pizza from your favourite local shop.

After dinner and another quick movie, he suggests it's time to leave the dents you've been curating in the sofa - offering some fresh air with him out the back door while he has a smoke break.

For the last portion of the night, you continue your shared nighttime routines - washing in a shared bath before heading to bed, snuggling the same way you did this morning, ready to repeat it all again the next day.

Firefly takes off her shoes before seeing you lounged up at the couch, watching some sort of show to pass the time.

Making her way to the living room, she sees your sleeping figure with a little bit of drool escaping your mouth.

She crouches down, wiping it off with the sleeve of her shirt before turning off the TV.

"Chicken..."

"Ahaha... looks like you're having a nice dream there... but now that you've brought it up..."

Standing up she heads to the Kitchen, opening the Freezer.

"There you are!"

She grabs the raw, frozen chicken, taking off the plastic wrap as she places it on the cutting board.

"Now where's the- oh..."

With the noticeable open space in the middle of the counter, one would wonder...

Where the hell did the Stove go?

Flashback:

"Forgive me, Your Majesty."

Wearing just the headgear of her armor and holding both an air freshener and lighter, Firefly rained hellfire.

Though it doesn't goes as planned...

"Stay... still...!"

The fly swiftly maneuvered the incoming fire as it buzzed around around the Kitchen.

It soon stood still at the frying pan above the stove, its legs stuck from the grease unfortunately.

"Now I've got you in my sights..."

Ditching the air freshener, Firefly grabbed the knife next to her, eyes full of concentration as she pulls back her arm...

"I brought Oak Cake Rolls!"

"Eek!"

Startled, she immediately throws the knife towards the pan in blinding speeds not even the poor fly could comprehend.

A sweat rolls down her forehead afterwards.

"..."

Good news? The Fly is gone!

B... bad news?

"MY STOVE!"

Thank god you still had those insurance papers...

End of Flashback.

"Mistakes happen, Firefly... mistakes... happen..."

She looks at the empty spot with a frown before clasping her hands together.

"Hmm... maybe that would work?"

She heads back to the Living Room, passing by your sleeping figure as she looks up at the suit of armor just proudly being put up for display.

It was actually your suggestion since you used to collect those little action figures... what were they called? Ka... kame... whatever, she thought that that was just... so cute.

Grabbing one of its arms she slides it in her right arm, getting a feel of it as she heads back to the kitchen. Shortly after that she thoroughly washes the chicken before placing it on a tray in middle of the kitchen.

"Here goes nothing..."

Taking a couple steps back, Firefly extends her arm out, fire emitting from the palm of her hand as it spews out like a flamethrower, gently roasting the chicken.

She walks around, making sure all sides of it are roasted before deactivating the arm.

"Phew..."

She gently grabs the tray with the help of her robotic arm, using her left hand to grab a plate as she sets it down.

Placing the tray by the sink she opens the rice cooker, steam erupting out of it as she blows it away.

"Aw... one step ahead, huh?"

Thankfully, she didn't to cook anymore since you already did it beforehand, how thoughtful of you.

"Now... time for our main guest..."

Taking off the arm she heads her way to the couch, raising your head so it can lay on her lap.

She fiddles with your hair, ruffling it up as your eyes flutter open.

"Mmh..."

You look up at the smiling face of your girlfriend, raising your hand as she brings it up to her cheek.

"Missed me?"

"Very..."

A moment of silence ensued, the both of you lovingly looking at each other.

"I made... rice before I slept."

"Mhm! Good job...!"

A smile crept to your face when she said that.

"And since you kept muttering about chicken I... I made some!"

"Did you now?"

You sit up, sniffling the air as you face towards the Kitchen.

Your hand was still cupping her cheek while she looked at you.

"Ooh... that's definitely some good chicken..."

"Well, let's eat then-

You plop down, earning a confused look from Firefly.

"Eh?"

"Let's... stay like this... for a bit."

Firelfy sighs, patting your head while you close your eyes shut.

During the 3 year gap, and also before Daemon confessed that he sent the letter, did Luce ever try to move on past Aemond?

I thought a lot about this while I was writing the first draft of Compromise Chapter 11 (first draft is done, which means now I’m editing Chapter 10 🔥).

I think Luce does try very hard to move on mentally and emotionally. Whether she’s successful is another question. (Answer: No! 😄)

In Chapter 11, there are a few scenes where other boys are interested in Luce, who deliberately ignores any signs that the boys might want to be more than friends. Even though she’s convinced herself that she has moved on, when she gets the opportunity to actually move on, she runs the other direction.

Also, the boy friends (who are not boyfriends) she collects tend to share at least one similar quality with Aemond. 🧐 Total coincidence, of course.

Of course Ayennie invited me over. I brought over the fondue machine that was finally delivered so we could have some fun with chocolate (along with some fruits and cookies). Unfortunately he failed to tell me that Channie is a nudist, but he totally did that on purpose cause he found Chris crushing and the man refused to make a move despite Innie giving him a push (the sweetest maknae).

Just unlocked the door and walked right in with the box nearly dropping it as I squeal cause Chan is naked and I wasn't supposed to see that and yes all awkward and blushy and hiding behind the sofa and refuses to come out. "Close your eyes and I'll run back to my room. I.N isn't here and he didn't tell me you were coming. I'msosorry!" But wait a damn minute...the little glimpse I got of him, he looking kinda good. But also, "Chan it's fine. I mean I can even the playing field." His lil head pops up as I drop my top--no bra cause the top didn't work with one-- and his ears instantly go red as he groans. (He's so at least half hard) God he's cute, but you don't push despite full on having feelings for Chan.

Innie arrives finally and full on laughs as he deciphers the situation and pulls his own shirt off to make it less weird. Chris would leave to throw shorts on at least but he's not risking us see him hard yet. Pulling my top on I just go to set up the machine and Ayen lets Chan gain some dignity as long as he promises to join us, which he does. Drinks get involved (I'm thinking drinking game while watching a movie) and everyone relaxes. Confessions are made, chocolate and treats are consumed, steamy make out sessions are had, but no going all the way just yet. That'll be for next time.

OR!!!

Maybe things do go beyond and Chan thinks the threesome is a one time thing, but you suggest going on dates and seeing how he feels after and he couldn't be happier. After having his own time with you he's SPRUNG and far less awkward. A total gentleman. You even talk kinks before doing anything. Match made in heaven and he couldn't be happier that Ayen helped forced him.

Feel free to add more (I'm sure we'll come up with a great thread for this). We should write more about Ayen being a chaos gremlin. He probably plots with Minho and learned a lot from him.

THE FONDUE MACHINE, YES. I KNEW MACHINERY WAS INVOLVED. You understand my brain perfectly.

The importance of the fondue machine can not be overstated, because it's kind of awkward and heavy.

So of course, when Chan sees you struggling with it as you come into the dorm, his first response is to get up and help. Temporarily forgetting that he's naked. He's always naked at home, so he doesn't even think about it until he sees the shock on your face.

Unfortunately he's halfway across the room before he realises what the problem is.

The question is, what noise does he make when he dives behind the sofa? Does he squeak? Does he scream? Does he make this noise:

He's hiding behind the sofa and you're awkwardly standing by the door, arms getting tired from holding the fondue machine. It's not so much it's heavy, it's just awkward- much like your current situation.

You know what you saw. Chan knows what you saw. And you know that Chan knows you know Chan knows what you saw. (Is that grammatically correct? Does it make sense? idk, idk.)

You should have mercy and let Chan run back to his room, but the little demon in your head (that looks suspiciously like Ayen) had other ideas.

Nothing you do is going to make Chan less embarrassed. Really, the kindest thing to do would be to level the playing field. (In my head your top is the type of halterneck that ties up.)

So you just reach behind your neck, tug the strings, and boom. Tits on display.

Obviously you go to coax Channie out of his room with a chocolate covered strawberry.

Yes, you're going to tease him with it.

Yes, shy Channie is banished, and Christopher is going to appear.

Yes, the sexual tension is going to increase by 100%.

And yes, Ayen is going to come and ruin the moment. "Noona, the chocolate isn't melting right, come help." (The chocolate, is in fact, melting just fine. Ayen was just feeling jealous and left out.)

The moment might be ruined, but the way Chan's eyes follow you as you leave... Yeah, you both know what's going down in funkytown.

Chan does join you guys for fondue, and sexually charged chaos ensues.

The chocolate you drip down your chest was definitely an accident. As was the growl Chan made when Ayen licked it off your collar bones.

You end up borrowing one of Ayen's shirts while you hang out. Chan is secretly jealous, but when he offered to grab something for you Ayen was quick to make a joke about how Chan needs all the clothing he has.

Chan would've been pissed at him, but the way you giggle makes his heart do a little flip. And then you lean against him, like it's the most natural thing in the world, and feed him another sexually-charged chocolate-covered strawberry.

Not going to touch the most notable comparison "secret thing of lovely beauty" because it does not move me and when necklacegate happens I hope Gwyn throws that fuckass necklace into the Sidra a la Cassian and Nesta jumps Az for 3 chapters straight.

Also Gwyn light singer theories do not move me, I'd actually just end up loving her more 🤷🏾‍♀️

I was wondering what you thought about all the bird references/imagery in relation to Claudia. There’s a video where the interviewer brings up some of the bird references and originally Delainey didn’t see it, but as it when on she was like 🧐. There’s definitely a lot, but I think there’s one that people always miss. I never see anyone mention that in the first season when they’re coffin shopping for Claudia, the one she chooses is called The Feathered Nest or something like that (in fairness the name was on a card that was in frame for like 3 seconds). Another one I don’t really see mentioned is the parallel between that scene where Lestat tells her she shouldn’t find other vampires because she’s “build like a bird” and the scene where Bruce breaks either her arm or her leg (I can’t remember which). Also, I know Louis never really liked Armand’s plays, but I think he especially didn’t like Claudia’s first major role because it reminded him heavily of Paul (the way he died and his bird-centric delusions). I’m not sure if Armand did that on purpose, but it’s hard to see a world in which he didn’t since he admitted to going through Louis’ mind.

I'm putting my thoughts below the cut:

I didn't notice the coffin thing!! I lowkey gasped when I read that, I'm sick to my stomach, my girl never stood a chance :(

I have put some thought into the argument where Lestat talks about how easily she'd be destroyed because she's "built like a bird" and the bird symbolism surrounding her first major role. I do think some of the intention behind that role was to acknowledge/almost make fun of Paul/Louis's trauma. There's so much to break down over the way that Claudia's role reflected Paul's death.

I agree with you that I'm not sure if this is something that Armand did on purpose or if it was just a coincidence meant to create tension in the plot, but it feels too on the nose for it to be something the writers did for fun, especially because Armand did go through Louis's mind. My only issue with this 'theory' is trying to think of a concrete reason for Armand to want to put that much effort into reminding Louis of Paul so publically, but I do see how this could have been Armand hinting at the extent of his awareness to see Louis's reaction.

I also think this interpretation of Claudia's role could also be considered as a form of foreshadowing Armand's willingness to choose the coven over Louis. Armand crafting a performance around Louis's memories of Paul briefly turned a part of Louis into a source for the coven's sustainment. The events of the trial sacrificed another part of Louis (Claudia, and almost Louis himself) for the sake of sustaining the coven, just more blatantly. I might be overthinking so if that doesn't make sense ignore me 😭.

Considering Paul's bird-centric delusions, I'm curious if birds are meant to not necessarily represent Claudia, but meant to be an omen of true death.

Also, in some mythologies, birds are connected to vampires. I've read that in roman folklore, the basic idea of a vampire was incorporated into something called a "strix" which was a mythological bird associated with bad omens known for feeding on human flesh and blood. I'm not an expert on this so I could be interpreting this wrong, and there's always a chance I'm overthinking, but it's interesting to think about.

I have 81 works on AO3. There are some that are there and not on Tumblr yet. As to why, some of them are other series I haven’t finished or I’m not sure if I should post them here.

2. What is your total AO3 word count?

As of today: 351,908 words (updated for a new chapter of one of my works)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently: Pedro Pascal, Oscar Issac, Garrett Hedlund and might dabble in Call of Duty (maybe)

No longer writing: Marvel

4. Top Five fics by kudos: (some of these were written long ago, when Nerdie was a wee one in fandom)

This is a three way tie (cheating because Nerdie is not above it) between Sard’ika Sessions, The Lake Between Us and Parts of you Mr. Morales. Each fic has a different Pedro character - Din, Ezra (I had to give him something happy 😭) and Frankie.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not that I’ve seen. I totally thought I would and that’s why something stay on AO3 or in the WIP folder but so far I have not. It’s like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

9. Do you write smut?

I used to. I used to write a lot and enjoyed it. I find now that when I write smut it’s awkward and takes me at least a month to finish a smut scene because despite watching and reading reference materials (porn and other awesome smut fanfic here and on AO3) I don’t have the same mojo when writing it any more. I feel a bit sad about it, but there’s nothing that’s worked. It’s not like I don’t have thots. I just can’t get them in a fic. 😭😭

10. Craziest Crossover?

I haven’t really done many. One m/m fic where Din and Poe crossed blasters (pun fully intended), one sandwich with a female reader, Lucian Flores and Benny Miller, My Tim Rockford series where Dieter is his brother and that’s about it I think 🧐

11. Have you ever have a fic stolen? Not that I know of. So happy I’m in my small weird little box 📦

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not that I know of.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic? Nope I would be open to it but I dunno how the process would work.

Such heart ache 😣 My first series that I started was with Dave York (he was done so dirty dammit!) and it was pretty smut filled. Felt with him and the OFC’s messed up dynamic as well but because of all the smut and how I can’t seem to write smut to save my neck now, it will likely go unfinished. 😭

16. What are your writing strengths?

Honestly, I’m not sure. Maybe just the weird plot ideas I can make and dialogue. That’s about it.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Finishing a fic, SMUT, weak comedy (I can’t resist it though), fixating on small details that don’t matter and everything that wasn’t listed as a strength. What is writing really? Can I make the words go together? 😨

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

Pretty cool, just make sure you ask a native speaker in that language to look over things before posting. I have found that some of my Spanish is too literal and no native Spanish speaker is actually going to say that. Plus each language always has little nuances you need to take into account.

19. First Fandom you wrote in? Marvel 👀 Look it was a phase dammit! 🫣 Leave me alone. 😭

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Nerdie will cheat again, because this is her post! 😆 I enjoy all my fics. Otherwise, why would I write them? But one stands above the rest. It gives me all the feels, giggles, some funny banter, smut that took a damn month to write and inspired @soft-persephone to tag me in a meme that @boliv-jenta made, Weddings 101 with Dieter.

If there’s one fic that I feel has the majority of my writing (all styles and facets) in it, Weddings 101 would be it. My humor, agnst, attempt at making a villain and sub-plots, slow burn romance with a goat as Dieter’s ride or die. 🤗 That trash panda gave me a lot so I wrote him a wild ass series. 😋

Hello ‘Erbody!

I have a concept!!

I found my passion for writing almost 1 year ago. But I’ve also discovered a love for drawing. As I get a little bit better at doodling I’ve been thinking about doing a crossover between a story I’m writing and a longish fan comic (or doujinshi? DJ? What are they called now? I’m old 😵‍💫).

The plot:

We replay Christian history through the eyes of Lucifer, a Harold of Christianity. He’ll live seven lifetimes full of tribulation as he does his best to counteract the seven deadly sins with the seven heavenly virtues. He doesn’t live his lives alone, as Alastor, another wayward soul fighting desperately to earn redemption, joins him as the harbinger of chaos.

In 313AD, the Kingdom of Armenia has recently made history by becoming the first nation to adopt Christianity as their official religion. Such a bold declaration thwarts unity and only succeeds in sparking more turmoil in the already tumultuous conflict between Rome and Persia that’s been taking place for centuries on occupied Armenian land. Fire temples are being destroyed or overtaken for use as churches, and a band of Zoroastrian followers will not stand for the degradation any longer.

In a world where everyone is suspicious of everyone, people are hard pressed to trust even their closest relatives. Nakharar, the feudal lords, have far too many responsibilities. Keeping one eye open, even whilst asleep, is always recommended. A brooding hunter finds a lost boy (man?) who isn’t all he seems to be. As they grow closer, the secrets between them can only spell disaster.

I am thinking of making a nsfw version, too, but that might be far off and behind a paywall like patreon. Is that the right thing to do? I’m walking blind in the dark here, I’ve never done anything like this 🥴

Ok guys, since a total of two people wanted to head my Brooke headcanons, I gUeSs that I HAVE to share. I don’t make the rules🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤷🫣🫣🫣

I swear to god, I am projecting SO hard for most of these headcanons😓 I’ve basically said, ‘screw you canon version of Brooke, didn’t you hear that I’m the new writer of the story🧐’

Ok, headcanon number one:

Brooke really likes flowers. I don’t think that she has like, a garden of her own, but she still knows a lot about flowers. Maybe when she was younger she used to garden with her grandma or something, and she just accumulated all the names:l I think that her favorite flowers are yellow dandelions and daisies. She likes them because since they’re wildflowers, they are abundant, so when she was younger, she’d always pick them and braid them into Chloe’s hair☹️ (Brooke definitely misses that time in their friendship:( she wishes that they could go back in time) I think that when Brooke is an adult, and she’s all moved out, that she will probably start a garden where she grows non-wildflowers, but her favorite flowers will stay the same:)

Headcanon number two:

Brooke has never had any pets:( I think that she REALLY likes dogs though, I mean, she even dressed up as a dog for Halloween, maybe cause her love for dogs has just been a part of her forever🧐🧐🧐 I also think that Brooke was definitely that kid who BEGGED their parents for a dog:3 but she never got one, I’d think cause one of her family members is allergic. She was also that one kid who whenever she came to a friend’s house and they had a dog, she would, all she wanted to do was play with the dog🫣

Headcanon number three!

So this is general family stuff:3 Her mom and dad are together, but they aren’t overly in love:( they’re kinda just in like, a passive relationship (it’s not toxic tho) I am really adamant about this next one🫣 So I definitely think that Brooke has a little brother. I think that he’s prolly like, twelve during the events of bmc. Idk why I like this headcanon so much man😔 I also think that Brooke is a good big sister:) Okay, last family thing, Brooke has had one grandma still alive for most of her life, and that was her only grandparent. I think that she’s pretty close to her grandma.

I don’t know if I headcanon this or not but, she/they Brooke anyone🫢 I like she/they Brooke:3

okay, now the real review:

tbh even tho you dropped some hints in the last chapters, i had liked to think that you wouldn't write about homophobia and slurs, idk i wanted it to keep being all love and happiness but to be fair it would've been too (sadly) weird if there weren't any "consequences" to their coming out. i mean as carlos often says during the fic, not everyone likes you and that's okay. homophobia isn't okay but unfortunately it's still part of our world especially in sports where it's so rare to find openly lgbtq athletes bc of that. it broke my heart how carlos just tried to swallow all the pain and the insults, and the fucking questions from the journalists. i loved how you wrote about the support not only obviously from jannik, but also from his team especially juanki. i really enjoyed their conversation while jannik was away🥰 About Jannik now, i'm not gonna lie when he started telling carlos that he would handle it and that he should turn his phone off i was like what😀 are you doing i honestly thought for a second about him hitting people idk what to expect, he kinda had said in the previous chapter that he would've taken the matter in his own hands if the situation got worse and i expected anything less, but what he really did melted my heart. like how did you even think about that?? that's such a lovely way to make carlos feel better by showing him the support of fans, friends, collegues and especially brands (i really liked that you also included brands, irl i think it would sadly go the other way but it's still nice to hope).

but changing to a lighter subject, don't think i forgot about the ring. what is jannik planning😏🧐 hahahah can't wait to read more about this! (and about what he "has finally figured out")

lexi, this chapter was so good it might be the best so far of the f1 fic (perhaps of everything), it made me feel so many emotions and i couldn't (still can't) stop thinking about it afterwards. i'm so glad i found u!🫶🏻🫶🏻

I almost felt it would do the universe I created a disservice if I didn't talk about the relationship between the sports world and heteronormativity. I too wish it would've been happier and the worst thing that happened between them is that Carlos is fleeting, but I do enjoy the premise that their relationship gets tested in such a way that it represents it is not just lust that drives what they share.

Jannik is a pretty scary guy all on his own. Can you imagine what conversations he had to have in order to set all of this up? I bet he was terrifying over the phone with these big-name people because how dare you do that to his man? Even if they didn't directly do it, they're going to be part of the solution lolllll. Plus the power and knowledge to not only set up a whole trend, but supply an entire stadium with bright red shirts. He used so much power and connection to get it done, you just know itttt - well Carlos doesn't know it. Jannik isn't going to tell him either. Yeah the brand thing was a little overkill, but it's a nice thought nonetheless.

Carlos did take a lot :((((( I had to pause my writing multiple times because I was so sad about what I was writing.

I'm glad you didn't overlook the ONLY reason Jannik would not go to a match. I give no spoilers, though. We shall have to wait to see if he got himself a nice ring or not.

RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

I have OSDD1b and I'm part of a system, a small piece of a whole. Basically, it's the old "many rats in a trenchcoat" thingy.

Because I can write I have decided this means I have to try my hand at writing novels, game writing, interactice stories and visual novels. Don't ask me where my projects are. I murder them routinely.

I used to be able to read 300 page books in a day. I'd just get so lost in the sauce. Now I'm lucky if I read a whole chapter. How I have fallen. 😔 (Trying to fix this by reading an hour at a time) Edit: it's working! Edit: um...

I walk like I'm being chased. I don't like being anywhere that isn't home, haha.
