Merry Little Batman is out on Amazon Prime! i went to the screening over the weekend and it’s such a cute movie 😭 basically 90% Damian which was a pleasant surprise haha

lolol i went back to look at the first käärijä drawings i ever did on procreate...... the very first one i didn't even TRY to finish bc i had no clue what i was doing 😂 i've never really done digital art before the käärijä brainrot set in (and suddenly gave me more motivation to draw than i have ever had in all my life), as you can probably tell looking at these PFFFT
i like to think i have learned some things and improved some since i drew these in uhhh june or july :D
#i did buy a drawing tablet like idk five years ago?? mostly to play osu! but also to try digital art#which i did for like a second before giving up#and didn't do it again until now#but käärijä made me want to draw him SO BAD and there were so many amazing artists in the fandom i wanted to learn how to draw him too!!#and my patience for traditional art has ALWAYS been paper thin so i just had to try digital#also i have always said i don't have any kind of personal style in my “art” but i think im slowly & accidentally developing that too now :D

Most specifically thinking about magnets again - there’s the obvious of putting it in their hands so they can hold hands!
Of course if they’re on the same side i.e. right hand gets south polarity, left gets north, they’d only be able to hold opposite hands, so no handshakes (but I think that’s fine personally haha)
But on top of hands they could also have magnets behind their mouth! Kiss-magnets! My only real concern is the fabric pulling and developing kiss-wrinkles from being pressed against each other haha
They’d also be able to giggle with their palms to their mouths hehe, how cute! It’d depend on their kiss polarity
Which would of course depend on ship compatibility! Max has to be able to kiss Dex and Caleb, so if that makes it that Caleb and Dex can’t kiss, I mean that’s just an unfortunate side effect haha

I keep imagining Lummis and Petunia in different outfits but never Flower, they always stay in their black pants and white shirt getup unless for special occasions, and I think the funniest possible explanation to this is if they have like 20 pairs of identical pants and shirts
Which makes sense if they're the Pure Vessel. Just throw something comfortable and practical but still okay-looking by noble standards on them when not on duty and sew a shitton of these bad boys for them, it's not like they have an opinion or preference or even need to be fashionable. Basic stuff will do.
The side effect of this is the fact post-reveal they still wear the same goddamn thing 7 days a week
And also they're autistic/neurodivegent in general. Having a duplicate or two (or 20) of their favourite comfy outfit is handy, and finding new clothes that don't have Bad Texture or annoying tags is a chore and a half.

fuck yeah the classical music radio station is currently playing mahler 1 (haitink with berlin phil)!!!!!
#this is the only mahler symphony they ever play but hey i'll take it#also they play it like once a month and i usually can't catch it#this is also like the best radio station on the entire earth because:#1. the hosts do not talk excessively but usually provide a little bit of background for most of the pieces as well as the musicians/ensembl#their voices are very soothing#2. i mostly listen to romantic period music and later but they play mostly pre-romantic and some romantic era music so i've#been exposed to a lot of new music that is quite good even though it isn't my favorite style or time period#3. they give weather reports (from their own hosts) usually at the top of every hour and this is pretty much the only way i get weather new#4. they broadcast five minutes of news from npr at the top of each hour during peak periods (rush hours mostly) which is a nice break#from the music and also is the predominant way i get news#5. every weekday at 7pm they broadcast pbs newshour which is very nice of them#and 6. and MOST IMPORTANTLY#they also allow you to listen to the station through their website so when im not in the car i can STILL listen to the classical music#radio station and the pleasant hosts bc i don't have a radio or anything that i can just use outside of the automobile#if anybody wants the website ask me!!! i don't want to just link it because doxxing but ill happily send people the link privately!#mahler#classical music

I've been watching a lot of Omega Strikers guide videos lately and the one thing all of them have in common is that every single one of them highlights the importance of "just have fun".
That's something people say all the time, about any game. But there was one guide I watched yesterday, and in addition to giving that tip, also mentioned the importance of not being toxic and blaming your losses on your teammates.
This is genuinely the most helpful tip of all time. Like this guide really grilled into me just how horrible having that toxic mentality is. The full first minute of the video was dedicated to that. He also talked about how being toxic and playing w that mentality actively makes you worse at the game, period. Full stop. And he explained the reasoning for that as well.
I've heard this said and yeah I believe it as well, but this was the first time I'd ever had it thoroughly explained to me. It really put things into perspective for me.
Hoping I can improve at both Omega Strikers and Splatoon by keeping this in mind 👍
#The whole 'just have fun' + 'stop blaming others' is smth I've needed heavily reinforced for a while#I'm very bad at just having fun bc I want!!!!! To rank up!!!!
