Lionpeach prompt: After Azure becomes the Jade emperor he makes a deal with wukong that if he marries him his friends will be safe
Sun Wukong had no idea how long he had been in the scroll.
It could've been minutes or years. Time was easily lost when you had to traverse a landscape made of your worst memories, from receiving his shifu's harsh words of banishment to feeling the fillet tighten around his head for the first time to hearing Long Xiaojiao scream at him as the Samadhi fire wrapped around her. He had fucked up in his long life, and the scroll made sure he remembered it all, even the smallest thing that slipped his self-hatred.
At least Xiaotian and the others had escaped. If they were out, there was hope.
He sighed, standing up from the ledge he sat on. He had needed a quick rest, although it was tempting to just sit there. He couldn't. He needed to figure a way out.
Before Wukong could begin to move, the world began to glow a familiar azure blue. He tensed up, taking a step back. Before he could run, the blue swallowed him up...
And he came to.
It was dark, although it took him a second to realize that he was scrunching his eyes closed. "Wukong?" a familiar voice said. He scrunched his eyes up even more. Once, that voice had made him feel warm and confident, sure of himself and his friends.
Then he had tried to kill him.
A familiar paw smoothed gently down his face. "Should he be like this?" Azure's voice said, probably asking Yellowtusk. "He should be alright now, right? We fixed the damage to the tile."
Oh. That explained why things got screwy at the end.
"I think he's just pretending so we'll leave him alone."
Dang it.
Wukong opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was a giant multi-colored crack that began to close, ruining the lovely bedroom that had to be in the Celestial Realm. The second thing was Azure, practically crackling at the seams with the Jade Emperor's power, sitting next to him.
"Azure..." he whispered, not sure whether to be angry at him or afraid for him. "You're killing yourself."
Azure didn't respond beyond a simple quirk of his brow. "Leave us," he said to Yellowtusk. "I want privacy for this moment." Wukong felt his own brow raise as the elephant demon slipped out surprisingly quiet, closing the door behind him.
There was a heartbeat of silence.
Then Azure's paw gently turned his face towards his. "Wukong," he sighed.
"Azure."
"...I was so worried about you," the lion sighed. "I was hasty and acted foolishly. My cruelty towards Qi Xiaotian was uncalled for," Wukong tensed the moment his successor's name left the lion's mouth. "But I hope I can make it up to him with this."
"With what?" Wukong scoffed. Azure had a tendency to act before he thought, not really taking in many people's opinions. It was one of the things that made Macaque feel uneasy.
The next words are enough to justify Macaque's unease.
"Marry me."
"...Excuse me?"
"I can protect Xiaotian and his friends if the world knows they're under my protection thanks to you," Azure said, not bothering to repeat himself. He was unaware of dots connecting in Wukong's mind, disgust filling him.
He trusted that Azure wanted the Jade Emperor gone, for the better in his mind. But, choosing him to be the next emperor? The minute Wukong had met him, Azure had insisted that he was the perfect choice, even through frustration at him putting his monkeys first and his goofy attitude. Peng had once told him, out of spite at something Azure did, that Azure had a list of baby names for children he wanted with Wukong. Wukong had brushed it off, assuming that they just wanted chaos between him and the lion.
Except now he had to face the idea that Azure had hoped to get in his pants.
Before he could even say something or figure out what to say, Azure sighed. "I'll take your silence as a no," he said.
Lips pressed against his cheek.
"Please, think about it. I only want what is best for you." Azure pulled away, heading to the door. He paused to glance back at him with what he probably thought was a kind expression, but all Wukong could think was the idea that sat in his mind now.
"Good night."

I feel like if there was anything that could knock sense into camel ridge trio during JTTW it would be the whole tiger monk litter thing
Yellow Tusk is so tired of Azures bullshit, so it’s not very hard for him to get better. (Literally the only one of them in canon that got better)
Peng sees the kittens and is just weak immediately. Considering their deceased niece and nephew that they have in canon, I feel like they’d be very instinctively protective of any babies or children. They do not care that the babies want to eat them because those are babies they don’t know any better. Yes they’re trying to eat their wings what about it?
Azure would probably have to be yelled at by Peng, Yellow Tusk, Wukong, and Tripitaka for any sense to come to him. He’s an idiot cat running on emotion and instincts, sad little baby man.
That feel when your belief in your former bro turning his back on demonkind sort of falls apart when you learn that his religious master is a Buddhist tiger demon with no attachments to the Taoist Celestial Realm. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yellow Tusk is a smart elephant. If he can convince the other two to stand down, then he's golden. He just wants a place for demons to be safe and accepted.
I almost forgot that Peng does have a nephew and niece (via their sister Mahamayuri - the Buddha's peahen mom), that died just prior to Jttw - they were shot and mortally wounded by the King of Zhuzi/Scarlet-Purple Kingdom. I hc that Peng can be a little soft on kids since they lost their niece and nephew in such a tragic manner. They'd see the Monk-Tiger kittens and be merely amused that they're trying to hunt them. Gotta stop themselves from trying to sit on them cubs like they're peachicks.
Tumblr media
If Azure can be manipulated/have sense beaten into him, it be on all sides by his sworn bros, Wukong, and the monk he has a crush on. Getting smacked like a husband in a 90s sitcom if he starts acting the fool.

A God Has Descended to Earth
Paring: Gojo Satrou x fem!reader Tags: God complex, one-shot, what happens when a god like existence on Earth makes you wonder? if all the gods you knew were fake A/n: I just wrote this after being inspired from Lana's - "Salvatore", I have listened to it many times but this version of it being in a cathedral unblocked my writers block. The echo, the reverberation, and blue cathedral inspired me to write some lines and it evolved to this lol~ I hope you guys like it! pls leave a comment for any feedback if you like it!
Tumblr media
Throughout the lands and the sky above, beyond the glistening stars the breeze itself seemed to freeze to not disturb his walk. Black, white and blue sky, a gold painted sun cathedral with echo's of power resonating through each crevice swirling like the depth of oceans, and storming like a titanic on the clouds
Stepping down he looked like a God
using the sky itself as a staircase he stepped down, elegantly- playfully smirking, he needed no cathedral, he needed no church or temple, why? The sky was his, the sky was the cathedral, the only place high enough for a man like him to look down on the world and be worshiped.
No throne was worthy enough for him, none dared to bear his weight, no gold or diamonds needed to show his wealth, Afterall, which diamonds could ever compare to the azure blue painting his eyes reflecting the sun and the ocean in it's wake.
The sky was his, it exists because he exists, with just a drop of his power thousands could be ripped till bones and daggers cannot be forged. Having the strength to take the Earth from the back of Atlas and bear it on his mere hands; spinning it like a child spinning the globe. As if it was the most weightless object in the world.
How did such a man exist- was beyond you, having heard about him through many people, calling him annoying, cocky, over-confident, but one thing the whole world agreed on- he was the strongest. You laughed it off as you heard many things related to him, so many stories a 1000 nights couldn't match up, wondering if you could meet this man known as the strongest yourself
Until, you saw him, the man himself walking down from the sky
Sharp cuts on your body stung dripping with blood, making you beg your nerves to stop feeling this piercing pain. If it stopped you could focus more, hot blood drenched a side of your face, blurring your vision hazy, it smelled like iron and tasted disgusting on your throat making you want to vomit
Seeing him made your breath stop, world stop, the chaos fell silent and deaf to your ears- looking at him breathless as he walked towards you not even realizing the curse you were fighting was still alive
With a light grin he raised his hand
"Red"
Such a simple word, just 1 syllable
Obliterated half of the area you were standing flat, grimy blood of the curse splattered on the wall behind you- with a crater big enough to hold an elephant, but rather than horror it looked like a painting- a painting of raw power
Is this what ultimate power looks like?
The curse you struggled to fight against, gasping for breath in every killing blow, small cuts graced your body making your skin be basked in crimson, nearly dying fighting this curse and for him it was just
One Syllable
You stared at him, stunned to speak, he did not avert your gaze rather kept looking in your eyes, the azure eyes melting into your own- evoking the feeling of your soul being consumed by him
Gently raising his hand- he brushed your hair aside- though his hands got covered in your blood he paid no mind
"My My~ that's quite an expression you've got their my dear"
leaning in his lips close to yours- inches apart- gaze unwavering looking into your heart
"A-Are you a God?"
You do not know why such words came from your mouth, they just did, as if wanting to know, if the god you have been worshipping your whole life was fake
"Am I?"
He chuckled
"If I am, will you go down on your knees and worship me? will my name be the only prayer on your lips? Answer me dear? Will you?"
With a light smile he said the words as if they are weightless- even a god declaring his words would make himself look mighty, is he above a God?
"If so"
"Kneel"

˚。⋆ FOREVERMORE | GOJO SATORU
Tumblr media
contents — fluff/angst, a lil banter, gojo being a lil vulnerable, a lil late night drive, also reader is implied to be afab!
a/n: — 2k words of not being quite sure what this is other than the fact it made a very angsty turn towards the end which i did not plan for because this fic is a dusty year old draft!!! (pls enjoy regardless hahah)
Tumblr media
An incessant, flickering beam makes its way through your window in the quiet of your small, dimly lit bedroom. It appears to be beckoning you, almost like it's trying to call you out. Confused and admittedly a bit scared for your grown age, you close the hefty novel you’d been dutifully reading shut and creep gingerly toward the window. You hide beneath the curtains, careful not to move around too much. Then slowly, you sneak a quick peek at the persistent light outside.
There, in his expensive imported sports car with a large flashlight in his hold, sits Gojo Satoru and that goofy signature grin of his. The silly man you undoubtedly call your boyfriend and who you, unfortunately, love more than the normal amount. Letting go of the air you’d been holding in with a relieved giggle, you quickly open your window.
“What the hell, ‘Toru! You scared the shit out of me!” You hissed, bringing a hand to your forehead.
“Sorry, Princess!” He calls back, carrying absolutely zero sympathy in his voice, before revealing a familiar bag of sugary drinks and sweet treats to you. “Say… Are you free for a little late-night getaway? I’ve got all your favorites.”
“You’re terrible,” You shake your head in utter disbelief, giggling at how ridiculous he could be. “Hold on, I’ll be down in sec.”
Grabbing your most treasured sweater (a stolen one of Satoru’s) and bag, you bolt out the door and launch yourself down the steps in a love-stricken flurry. Neighbors be damned, you were too excited to even care about the chaos of elephant footsteps you make. As you make your way down the stairs, you can’t help but begin to feel so much younger. Like a high schooler reborn again, you hadn’t realized how much you missed the giddy excitement that stemmed from forgetting your responsibilities. It was almost as if life had always been this thrilling. A late-night drive with your incredibly handsome boyfriend and pretending that you positively did not have a class to teach, plus a gruesome training session with your students waiting for you the following morning.
And that certainly was Satoru for you. Always sweeping you off your feet and doing everything you didn’t think you needed. He’s always too good, too perfect. The man is always somewhere off where he is required, always somewhere trying his best. Yet somehow, he makes sure to save time for you. Gojo Satoru always goes above and beyond. There is never a limit to the things he does.
Meeting him outside, you walk up to his open window, where his face sports a grin you could spot miles away. “Do you know what time it is?” You squeeze his cheek playfully
“I do.” He blinks, taking your hand to press it flat against his cheek instead.
“You don’t have… I don’t know… A class tomorrow? Curses to exorcise?”
Satoru blinks twice, now peppering kisses into your palm. “I do.”
Your brow raises at his response, and you retract your hand to cross your arms. “Then… Shouldn’t you be preparing for that?”
The azure-eyed man sighs, leaning his head against his seatback to stare at you adoringly. “I just couldn’t sleep right... Probably because I’ve been thinking about you too much.”
His cheesy line causes your nose to scrunch up, though you can’t help but feel a pang of worry in your stomach at his words. “On second thought, I’m leaving.”
“Oh, just get in here already.” Satoru whines your name, quick to tug the back of your sweater and pull you in.
Smiling widely, you enter the passenger seat and immediately slot in your favorite CD before looking at your hopeless boyfriend. “You didn’t really think I’d just go back and leave, did you?”
“Maybe a little bit,” He shrugs, turning behind him as he reverses the car. “You can get way too intense sometimes.”
You hum in response as you ogle at his bicep and brush off the way he smirks at you. Ignoring the way your boyfriend of many years continues to make you blush like a young pubescent girl at the sight of his muscles, you reach into the bag in front of you to pull out a snack. It’s a surprise Satoru stays rather silent beside you, driving with a soft smile on his lips as he hums along with the familiar tunes you both grew up listening to. It’s strange. There are no cheesy one-liners or teasing remarks. Just him.
“So where exactly are you taking me, anyway?” You decide to inquire, reaching over to feed him a snack as he keeps his eyes trained on the road.
“Hey, that’s cheating!” His mouth is full, and you puff dramatically in response as you lean against the door to watch him with a comforting expression on your face. “You’ll see in a bit. Almost there.”
Knowing you’d never be able to beat his stubbornness, you continue to bask in the peaceful drive to whatever mystery location Satoru’s taking you to. You watch him solemnly, eyeing the way his lips hold a small smile, yet as you drive under each street lamp, you don’t miss the sight of how tired he really looks. These days, you see him less, and his missions seem to grow in length. More curses pop up in every direction, more colleagues pass, and with how incredibly undermanned the Jujutsu society is, the burden is inevitably thrown onto Gojo Satoru’s plate. He’s gone before you know it.
It’s unfair and cruel, but it’s what you’ve known your entire life.
A part of you wonders why Satoru even bothered driving when you both know he's fully capable of teleporting. You hypothesize that it is for old times' sake. It was near that certain time of year. While your boyfriend could sometimes be emotional about the past, you're no better. In the backburner of your minds, you both desperately wish you could return to the days of your youth. The very youth you never could grasp, taken from you before you knew it. You were naive and power-hungry, too blind to notice anything else around you, too eager to grow up and have the world grovel at your feet. You wish you could have changed it all. But now, as you watch Satoru, a few years older and a little bit wiser, the only thing you can think about is just how lucky you are to have him here.
You don’t realize Satoru’s parked already when you blink at the feeling of his thick fingers flicking your forehead, and you hear the click of his seatbelt. “Jeez, Babe. I know I’m handsome, I can hear you thinking too hard in that pretty little head of yours.”
Scoffing, you brush his hand away as you exit the car, taking the snack bag along with you. “What makes you so sure I was thinking about you?”
“You’re really asking me that? You love me.” He answers confidently, grinning wide until his dimples show when you catch up to him to wrap yourself around his arm. Your hand interlaces with his so effortlessly, not an ounce of infinity between the two of you. Never with you.
“Yes, Satoru. I love you so much that I’d let you take me to…” Your eyes scan around the dark trees and eerie silence. You wouldn’t be surprised if Satoru dragged you on one of his extra missions. “...A deserted forest?”
“Just a little further. You’ll know it when you see it.”
Not once letting go of your hand, Satoru leads you up a hill that overlooks the entire city. It’s quiet during this hour of the night. The city below you seems to be blanketed in a hush of tranquil sleep, yet the lights stay on wide awake and alert. You realize you rarely gave much thought to the world like this. The world you’ve all fought so damn hard to keep together and safe. The very world that only seems to take and never give.
A chin rests on your shoulder, strong arms find a comfortable home around your waist. “Know where we are, Sweetheart?”
You ponder for a moment, letting the night breeze kiss your cheeks. “This is the exact spot where I launched you during the sister-school event.”
“What? No, it’s not.” Satoru pouts as he squeezes you tighter. “Okay, maybe. But you’re still missing something.”
You place a playful finger to your lips, looking up at him. You know exactly where you are. This very spot served as a haven for what you could call your rebellious youth. “Ah! This is where you forced me to kiss you and then confessed your undying love to me. Holding my hand and begging me like a little boy to stay in Tokyo while Shoko had to bring you back to life.”
“Hey! You totally kissed me first!” His offended tone makes you laugh, running your hands down his arms. “And confessed too!”
Deciding to let him get his way since you’ll never hear the end of it, you turn yourself around in his hold to look at him properly. The lighthearted conversation ceases with a short hum from your lips, indicating conceding. When you look at him, his blue eyes are already trained on yours with almost a serious glint to them. The expression on his face is somewhat unreadable like he’s someplace far out of your reach. Here, arms wrapped around you, fully standing and breathing, is Satoru. But you know more than enough that his mind is somewhere elsewhere.
“Tell me.” You whisper.
Satoru looks out at the city and then back to you. Another glance out, a longer one back to you. He holds two worlds he’s tried to keep safe for so long. He’s exhausted, so incredibly worn out without you. When you watch him with that worried expression of yours, his mind replays the question he’s always asked himself. Is he the strongest because he’s Gojo Satoru? Or is he Gojo Satoru because he’s the strongest? Desperately, he’s been searching for an answer. But when he looks at you, he sees everything. All of the infinity, perhaps even beyond that. Satoru is almost certain that the answer has always been out of the question. It’s always been you for him.
“I had this dream about Megumi earlier today… About us and…” He trails off, voice going soft.
You know who he’s talking about, and you don’t prod. You wait patiently, watching him exhale with a small shake of his head.
“I just… I wish it would get easier. For the kids, you know? There’s always something," He rests his forehead against yours. "This same story never ends, does it?” You’ve never heard him sound so lost. Satoru was always sure of himself, confident in everything.
“It will. I promise you, Satoru. What, you think everything we’ve done is all for nothing?” Your voice never wavers, and you place both hands on the sides of his cheeks. “We’re gonna reform the world from the bottom up. Isn’t that what you told me? We're not going to let anything bad happen to those kids.”
“You know, you're starting to sound a lot like me. Perhaps a little prettier.”
“Takes one to know one,” You shrug, not once looking away. “But I’m serious. I’m stuck with you till the end.”
Suddenly, Satoru groans and moves out of your hold, stretches his long arms in the air, and takes your hand. He moves as if he’s been rejuvenated from your words alone, ready to take on anything else that decides to stand in his way. You realize that Satoru’s always just needed a push, something to land on when he feels like falling. No matter what, you’d be there.
“God, do I love you. Ah, we should just kill the higher-ups?”
You roll your eyes, pulling him down to plant a long kiss on his soft lips. It’s passionate and sincere, feeling almost as if it was pulled straight from a storybook with the way the trees flutter behind you and the breeze picks up your hair. In this kiss you share, you can feel both his yearning and his pain. You can feel all of it. The entirety of his love courses into your soul, and you tilt your head just so he can push further and prove it a little more. Asking him to spare some of his burdens onto you.
“Let’s get this job done first, yeah?”

" because azure, in a way, would be """more healthy""" for wukong instead of macaque"
What do you mean? Im not arguing macaque is healthy for wukong (gods no, even in the end of season 4 where they are inching toward healing their relationship is still a mess) i just dont see how lionpeach is not a similar level of unhealthy (both super project, both obsessed with wukong, both blame wukong for things, both try to kill him, etc)
oh yeah! i agree, which is also why i put """more healthy""" in heavy quotations. i say that mostly because unlike macaque, azure doesnt talk down to wukong and attempt to manipulate him and his new friends and torture them for shits and giggles (LOOKIN AT U MACAQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
macaque and azure have a lot of those similar problems you mentioned. they're obsessed with the "ideal image" of wukong that they've conjured up in their heads, just that ideal image is different from eachothers. and oh yeah, they both love to blame wukong.
okay, azure's dead, so we'll never know in full but im 85% convinced azure, peng, and elephant didn't know about wukong's punishment with the furnace and the mountain. that's why when azure explains his side he claims that wukong just changed sides when things got tough, because he never knew. it makes his feelings of betrayal more understandable and sympathetic compared to macaque, who knew and even visited wukong during his time under the mountain and still argued that wukong "abandoned him" (despite macaque being the one to run away when wukong needed him). azure's goal this season was misguided but ultimately noble. he even says it himself as he gives up his life to save the universe, "i just wanted to make the world a better place".

here's a question who is Hui's enemy? or some one she dislikes?
OOOOOO!!
Well, everyone knows Hui Ying is usually a kind person. But if there's one person she HATES (this is a strong word, that is why I am using it-)
Its gotta be Peng
Tumblr media
As you guys know, Half of Hui Ying's family ARE BIRDS. So whenever Peng backhands her grandmother (Jingwei) or her brother and Father, Hui Ying immediately wants to throw hands.
Peng thinks Hui Ying is way to kind and soft to be the granddaughter of the Goddess Jingwei, who is mostly known for her aggression
Ps. During season four when Azure, Peng and White elephant dude (I forgot his name-) raided the Eastern Empire, Hui Ying got into a fight with Peng, and hehere'the main two peices of dialog they had
Peng: Your father deserved to get his wings ripped out of him
Hui Ying: And you don't deserve your's. I will rip them out myself.

Okay... I need to say a few things about the information and character-reveals we just recently got. I am really hyped for Kai no Kiseki, but I am also disappointed as fu** and the choices they made regarding the characters in this game. So let's talk about that and some other things related to Kuro no Kiseki and what we know about it so far.
Alright, let's start with the Elephant in the room... WTF are they doing? Were are Estelle and Lloyd and why didn't they even try to include some Class7 characters that were actually surprising or made sense to show up for that matter and how on earth can Kevin show up without Ries? What the Fu** is Falcom even doing?
Look! We've seen in Hajimari that the cast of the Trails-Games is already far too huge and I get that that is a very good reason to not include everyone but this lineup we currently have is a freaking Joke.
And yes, I am all in for Rufus and the the rest of the picnic-squad, not that any of them are a surprise, given Kuro 2 and that there was no way in hell they wouldn't reuse Swin and Nadias character Models and that Rufus showing up at the end of that game obviously was a hint at him being active and thus showing up in this next game, with his favorite Lolie... uh.... I mean Puppet... uh I mean girlfriend... uh... with Lapis by his side. Great that they are there. Rufus looks cool. Lapis "has grown" a bit which is nice and Swin and Nadia are once again likely my only good choice for shipping stuff, so THANK AIDIOS they are back. No complaints here, don't get me wrong!
Kevin has been missed dearly by his fans. And while I am not a big fan of his, I had much less right to ask for my baby to return than the Kevin Fans and yet I was overjoyed to see my golden child back in the game, so of course I am really happy for the Kevin Fans that he is back. What I am not in support of, is that she showed up without Ries. Like... HOW?! How is that even legal? Its like Swin without Nadia. That is just not right! How are they going to explain that? I mean, I would be fine if she would not be playable. If her role is in the background, supporting Kevin in a less physically active way, but she should at least be there, by his side. That is how its supposed to be.
And I fooled myself into thinking she must be there, as she was on the 20th anniversary T-Shirt and it would only be right to bring back all the characters on that Anniversary-Art in a game that comes out in the anniversary year. HOWER. Appearantly that was never the plan to begin with. You can not see her in ANY of the pictures with Kevin. And it feels so freaking wrong!
The reveal of the Cold Steel Characters was boring as shit!
Look! As I was saying I was more than overjoyed to see it confirmed that my Rean is back, because I missed him so much. (Haters gonna hate, but I love the man to bits!) BUT it was clear as day that he would be there. The rematch with Shizuna was immensely anticipated ever since Hajimari/Riveri and obviously Towa has hinted multiple times at Rean being interested/worried about the things going on in Calvard and with his Friends here... how could he not come? So it was really not a surprise. It was rather a matter of WHEN they would reveal it and I think they did it far too early.
Now Crow was the same deal. We knew he was either in Calvard or very close to Calvard and meddling with things that involved Calvard in Kuro 2 already. So there was once again, no way in hell he wouldn't be there. So as nice it was to see my Azure Traitor back, it was not a surprise either.
Lets not even talk about Fie and Towa. Because THEY WERE ALREADY THERE! Of course they would still be there in Kai. That certainly is also not coming as a surprise.
Altrina was the only one surprising. And even with her, we could argue about that. With Rean being there and her having trouble staying away from him, it was almost clear she would come along and also it makes sense Harem-Wise, as she is likely the one who is the least complicated when it comes to answering the question if she is the one dating Rean. With Towa and Fie already in the Picture, dodging that bullet will already be an issue. A huge one. Not to mention that they have been promoting her a lot closely to Kais reveal so... one could see it coming miles away.
So and with Class 7s cast being as huge as it is... THAT IS IT?! SERIOUSLY?
Once again, I get that they can not include everyone BUT! There were plenty or characters who had good reasons to be there. Alisa should be needed given the whole technical stuff going on and I would love for Verne, ZFC and Reinford joining forces, maybe the Epstein Foundation can get a grip and help them too in FINALLY overruling Marduk before they get too powerful. (This purpose also includes Tita and Tio, but as we have NO INFORMATION about the Liberl OR Crossbellteam so far whatsoever - which freaking scares me - I do not dare to complain about them not being there YET, tho Í will give my two cents about this in a minutes as well...) Gaius should be there too, as he deserves at least to be able to fight by his former Mentors side after he played dead just to but the burden of being a Grahlsritter on him. As the church is getting active anyway, why should he not support Kevin in the matter? Kevin is very experienced. Why not take Gaius a bit under his wing or something like that? Next would be Jusis and Millium. We have Altina and Rufus here. Is there any reasons for their Siblings not to be there as well and have some kind of Family picnic or something like that? Not too mention, seeing how Altina has grown, aren't we all dying to know if Millium finally got the "big boobies" she so wished for? XD Jokes aside. I really would like to know how more mature she does look. It feels unfair to see Altina but not Millium. Obviously multiple other characters have possible reasons to be there too. Emma wanted to go east anyway, so might as well be in Calvard for a while. Elliot wanted to go on Worldtournee anyway. And I could go on and on about that. We could talk about wanting to know how the rest of new class7 is faring these days, which I think many people want to know.
And all that aside... I DO NOT GET ALISA OR AT LEAST JUSIS AND MILLIUM BUT FREAKING MINT IS THERE?! URG!
There is much more I would like to say but I think I leave the rest for the next post.
Just as promised my two cents about the Liberl and Crossbell-Teams. Logically speaking, as Renne is here, I think Estelle, Joshua AND Tita should come to her aide in whatever the fu** is going on in Calvard right now. Crossbell should Include Elie because her father is here and Lloyd because he has Familie in Calvard too. And with Rixia here, just as an Non-Playable-Character, Illiya should come along. So. There you have it.

Discard #4
It was late. Or early, depending on how you viewed it. In any case, it was dark, edging closer and closer to the dawn. The library was quiet and peaceful, with only one occupant.
The Lady Bone Demon meditated in the silence.
A magic circle surrounded her. Each time she took a deep breath in, the glow of the circle dulled. Each time she let a deep breath out, the glow of the circle intensified. It was a steady rhythm, one that allowed the cracks slowly flooding her skin to soothe and fade.
Yellowtusk watched.
She did not know he was there. As far as she knew, he was resting with Peng, who had successfully brought back the Crimson Jimsonweed. So far, two of the six things had been retrieved. However, this did not ease his mind.
Azure was usually very clever, but he had tunnel vision, Yellowtusk could admit that. Oftentimes, his tunnel vision extended to him and Peng, such as the attempted overthrowing of the Jade Emperor. Yellowtusk could not have tunnel vision now. Sun Wukong called him the wisest of their former brotherhood, and Yellowtusk needed to follow his words. Silently, he extended his hand.
The array that formed was one he learned in service of Heaven. The Queen Mother of the West used it to poison suitors of her daughters, ones that only cared for power instead of love. (How ironic that she judged her oxherding son-in-law for not having power.) If used slowly, the poison would be slow, allowing the suitors to appear if they were simply ill.
Fast was required here.
The array held for a moment. The blue of the circle that surrounded the Lady Bone Demon retreated, becoming white. A groan came from the demoness. Like it was a signal, Yellowtusk clenched his hand.
Power raced up her form like electricity. Her eyes started open in realization, but it was too late. The demoness threw her head back and screamed.
It was a sound, bordering on an inhuman screech, that Yellowtusk hated. However, he held firm. Finally, the circle disappeared and she collapsed to the floor.
The elephant took a step forward, eyeing her. She was limp, like a corpse, and he couldn’t see the motions that suggested breathing. Had he killed her? Or had he just killed the host?
Yellowtusk reached down, intending to flip her over and check her pulse, but a hand grabbed his. He gave a yelp, stumbling back as the demoness coughed, pushing herself up on her hands.
"Your brother did tell me that you were noble. That, if you had concerns, you would voice them first." The Lady Bone Demon rose to her feet and turned, allowing the skin of her glamour to slough off. Yellowtusk couldn't help the noise of disgust at the bare bone, red eyes glaring at him from empty sockets. "He did not imagine you as the type to stab your allies in the back in the dead of night."
"You are no ally of ours," Yellowtusk huffed out, gripping his hammer. "I have done my research, Baigujing." Her eyes flashed for a brief moment in anger. "You are nothing but a spirit who managed to scrabble her way to the attention of the gods. You would seek to destroy this world rather than make it better." And Azure had allowed his vision to tunnel once again.
"There is nothing that can make this world better," She spat out, kicking off the ground and levitating above him. "Nothing but the flames that the power of the Monkey King will provide."
Yellowtusk barked out a laugh, rising up. She wasn't the only one with fancy tricks. "He would never help you." Once he got his letter, he would act. He trusted him enough to know that.
She laughed back, the sound too harsh to come from a young girl's body. "He does not have a choice. He and his protege will fall. After all," The bone was covered back up, and the illusion blinked for just a moment. "He couldn't bring himself to hurt a child last time."
Yellowtusk's question died at the image of a young girl floating helplessly, her mouth caught in the gape of a scream. He blinked-
And she lunged.

Anon who write the dark shadowlionpeach ficlet. Got more inspired so I did a part two/second oneshot and even took the time to edit it for more then two seconds, hope it’s not too annoyingly long!
Azure Lion liked to think dinner was going pretty well.
The food was hot, fresh steam wafting off of the soup. The dumplings looked delicious, if untouched. The silence was deafening, but Azure Lion figured that just meant it was peaceful.
Yellow Tusk Elephant was politely drinking his liquor while avoiding eye contact with everyone in the room. Golden Wing Peng was actively staring at everyone in the room, his head visibly swiveling around to eye down his chosen target. Demon Bull King was looking at his plate like it might bite him. Macaque was slumped back in his chair like he didn’t have a care in the world.
“Okay, so are we just… not going to mention the giant ass elephant in the room!?” Peng finally snapped, slamming his hand down on the table. Yellow Tusk winced.
“Well, I mean we could,” Macaque started as a grin threatened to tear his face. “But I think it’s uncalled for. Yellow Tusk hasn’t done anything.”
“You know damn well that’s not what I meant!” Peng squawked as he pointed at Macaque, face red despite his sobriety.
“Brothers, please.” Azure Lion cut in, holding his hands up in a desperate bid for peace. “We invited everyone over hoping to have a nice meal. Life has been trying, and it has been so long since we could come together again like we used to.”
“Oh yes, we’ve all just been so busy, what with our personal lives getting in the way of these little get togethers.” Bull King snorted before sniffing at his drink.
“It couldn’t possibly have anything to do with being trapped in a scroll for hundreds of years!” Peng ground out.
“Brother-“
“And that’s not the elephant in the room either!”
“Again, Yellow Tusk hasn’t done anything-“
“Macaque I swear I will eat you-“
“Brother-”
“No, no you do not get to “brother” your way out of this!” Peng slammed his hands down onto the table, causing a loud snap.
“…I made this table myself.” Azure muttered, staring forlornly at the crack. Macaque snickered at the heartbreak on his face as Yellow Tusk continued not to make eye contact.
“This isn’t normal!” Peng finally howled. “And I’m not just going to sit here like it is!”
“Peng, please-“
“Centuries, Azure! Centuries we sat in that stupid scroll as the world passed us by! And now that we’re finally free, you’re sitting here and playing house with the very traitor who got us trapped there instead of going after the Jade Emperor!”
“He is not a traitor.” Azure explained, trying to maintain his composure. “He has a sickness-“
“He does not!” Peng screeched, tossing his hands around like he didn’t know what to do with them.
“I really, really don’t.” Wukong spoke up from his seat, nestled comfortably between Azure and Macaque.
“Great, now you got him started.” Macaque groaned as he slumped into his seat.
“I have been saying I don’t have a “sickness” since you assholes kidnapped me-“
“Liberated-“
“Kidnapped me from my fucking island!”
“Wukong,” Azure started in a gentle tone, reaching out for his love’s hands. “Flower Fruit Island is not safe for you now! The celestials know where it is; and could have hunted us down easily if we tried to stay there. We needed to go somewhere safe for you to recover.”
“Recover?” Wukong asked, tugging his hands away from the other. Azure felt his heart tremble at the loss. “I don’t need to recover!”
“Oh, Wukong…” Azure whispered as he stared down at the light of his life.
“Thanks, asshole.” Macaque smiled, words like acid. “You couldn’t be a decent person for one goddamn meal. You just had to rile him up!”
“Rile him up?!” Peng sputtered, “I riled him up!?”
“Brother Peng,” Azure Lion sighed, finally looking away from the agitated monkey. “I realize this is difficult for you to understand, but can’t you see how fortunate we all are? We’re together again, Peng. All of us. And we need to try and be a united front so we can fix this before storming any palaces.”
“Oh for fuck’s- there’s nothing to fix!” Wukong snarled, causing a plate to fall as he got up. “We’re only together again because Macaque is an opportunist dick, I’m stuck with you assholes and Bull King is being blackmailed!“
“See?! He just said he isn’t sick! Again!” Peng yelled, pointing at the Monkey King. “Now can you finally just kick him out so we can-“
“Enough!” Azure Lion roared, his fist crushing the table and shattering it fully. The food flew everywhere, wooden splinters lodging into the ceiling and walls. Bull King was covered in soup, Peng was staring at his fist as his mouth clicked shut, and Golden Tusk was finally looking up from his cup, a wooden splinter going through it as his drink ran down his fingers.
The silence was back; but this time he couldn’t pretend it was peaceful.
The happy little illusion was gone.
Azure took a deep, calming breath. His temper rarely got the better of him, but today it had exploded. He looked down to his right.
Sun Wukong was there, hand being gripped by Macaque, tail looped tightly by the other simian.
Sun Wukong was there, close enough to smell, to touch, to hold.
Sun Wukong was there, by his side, where he belonged.
Good.
“I apologize, brothers.” Azure said, trying his best to make sure they knew he meant it. “I didn’t intend for the evening to turn out like this. I simply wished for us all to be united once more, but I can see now I have rushed things too quickly.”
“You’re not the only one at fault, Azure.” Yellow Tusk spoke up for the first time that night, balancing his cup on the shattered remains of the table. “It’s perhaps… a bit early into our reunions for us to host these dinners once more, but. I did enjoy it. Being with all of you again.”
“Oh, Yellow Tusk….” Azure trailed off, smiling softly at his sworn brother.
“I’d like to try again.” Yellow Tusk started to explain, trying for a smile. “After all, how many of our dinners haven’t ended in some sort of destruction?”
“I’d say we’re on a solid eighty-thirty split.” Macaque chimed in as he squeezed Wukong’s arm. “But it is weird this is our first time breaking a table.”
“…I’ll come,” Bull King stated, after taking a glance at Wukong. “For the next dinner.”
“We’ve gotten off topic.” Peng muttered, narrowing his eyes at the two monkeys by Azure’s side. “But, fine. I can admit the idea of up-keeping our old dinner traditions is appealing.”
“Oh, that’s wonderful,” Azure Lion beamed as he tried not to blink his too-misty eyes. “I promise the next dinner will be much better. Though you’ll have to give me an extra week to make a new table.”
(LinebreaksAreSoSexy.IThinkTheyAddCharacter!)
“Welcome home, beloved.” Demon Bull King smiled at his wife as she came to greet him. Her face was schooled into a look of almost-boredom, but the grip of her embrace was tight.
He hated how her arms were trembling.
“You had a good time with the Brotherhood?” She asked carefully, tone somewhat disinterested.
“Relatively,” he explained, voice typically gruff. “But I am starved. The table broke early into the meal and we weren’t able to save all the food. Of course, Wukong hoarded all of the red bean buns for himself.”
“So that’s why your clothes are filthy.” She looked at the stain on his shirt. “You’ll need to change before grabbing something from the kitchens. I don’t want you dropping muck all over the place.”
“I can deliver the clothes for you, father.” Red Son offered as he walked a little too quickly towards the pair. “I need to check on the Bull bots down there anyways.”
“Were you successful?” He doesn’t ask.
“Don’t bother. I’ll leave my clothes by the bedside and have it taken care of on the regular rotation- you should never wear anything you actually like to these things.”
“Of course, father.”
“I don’t want you going out tonight. Focus on maintenance and trying to get something resembling a normal sleep schedule.”
“Father, I’m too old-“
“You live under my roof, you do as I say.” The Demon Bull King demanded, poking his son harshly in the chest and holding it there.
The Demon Bull King slowly lifted his arm back to embrace his wife, his son gripping at where his father had poked him before looking into his hand.
Hair.
“Do I make myself clear?” The Demon Bull King stares him down.
“Can we use this?” He doesn’t ask.
“…Of course, father.” Red Son bows, a grin on his face. And he means it.
“Now off to bed Red Son,” Princess Iron Fan smirks, even as her son’s face screws up at the realization he really is expected to go to bed at a decent hour. It’s not even three yet! “Your father and I will be in the kitchens.”
“Understood, mother.” And this time he sounds as sullen as the age they’re acting like he is.
Still, as the youngest member of the Demon Bull Clan walks off, he can’t help but start grinning again.
Tomorrow, he’d be going to Pigsy’s Noodles.
Oh my gosh do not ever apologize for writing too much, Anon, because this is freakin awesome!!! 🤩🤩🤩
I absolutely love the inclusion of the Bull Fam having to keep their plotting to free Wukong secret, even in their own home, since Macaque can most definitely still hear them and would know if they were up to something~

Note
Ok but what, exactly, are their reactions to baby Yubei? We know their general opinions but when Yellow Tusk and Peng are first released, there's this baby m9nkey jsut sitting in Azure's paws. A baby moneky that is apparently Wukong's blood daughter, they he had apparently carried. Had been carrying since he sealed them to begin with they soon learn
Azure is pretty much handed baby Yuebei by MK and Mei since he was the only adult around + MK was panicking at the loss of his mentor, dads, and Sandy. Azure figures out quickly from Yuebei's smell that she's Wukong's cub - he also smells Macaque on her, which surprises and disappoints him. The hut on FFM also gives him a clearer picture - many of Wukong's maternity clothes are still lying around the house, theres baby bottles, and a little sun and moon-themed nursery. All things that point towards his two former sworn brethern no longer being the same fighters he knew back then. And even worse, the King he often cared for loving another.
Yuebei's kidnapping was an unexpected, but welcome, addition to the plan. In Azure's palm held the greatest bargaining chip in all of the Heavens - the daughter of Sun Wukong. Containing many the same powers as her birth parent, and ones undiscovered yet.
When the MKrew escape the Scroll, Wukong is snarling like a beast at Azure until he sees that tiny puff of black fur held between his claws... his face goes pale and he drops to his knees like he did to the Jade Emperor millennia ago when his mate was threatened. He instinctively submits to ensure his cub's safety. It was no great feat for Azure to trap the Monkey King back into the Scroll after that (in the show it just took a snap of his fingers). The gang are less accomodating though - MK comes charging at the Brotherhood even as his body contorts painfully from his true monkey side breaking through. Yuebei is pretty much his adoptive baby sister, and he isn't going to let some creep take her as collateral!
Like in canon, their attempts to fight the Brotherhood are in vain. MK flies away screaming for his mentor and his fellow cub. Macaque hears his distress darn near across the country and comes running.
In the immediate aftermath of their release, Peng and Yellowtusk are mega confused why there's a baby monkey in Azure's hands rn?? Until they learn that it's the child of their "traitorous" former brother. Yellow Tusk's face drops, while Peng is amused by having the perfect the hostage. The elephant is the one to point out that the baby monkey can't be allowed to be near any of the fighting less she get seriously hurt (and they lose their hostage).
Azure likely has Yuebei trapped in her own Scroll column (a strangely hefty one he notes), for the time being, and releases her when he's fianlly sitting on the throne.
I'm honestly surprised that the Brotherhood didn't have a bigger reaction to Red Son - given that they likely never knew that their bro DBK had settled down and become a family man. Then again in this au, they don't get to have much of a chance to react.
Azure: "Demon Bull King. It's been many years-" DBK, sees Azure holding Yuebei hostage: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH OUR GODDAUGHTER!?" *immediate boss fight ensues*
Red Son ends up not just alerting the Celestial Realm about the Brotherhood's escape, but also tracks down Macaque to tell him exactly what happened to baby Yuebei. Macaque is understandably pissed, despite him and Wukong going through a rough patch. You better believe that the Warrior is seconds from beating down that palace door himself if it means Yuebei stays safe. But he has to focus on finding MK and Wukong rn first.
Macaque does lay it in to MK for a while though, not only out of anger for his poor judgement, but to force him to see his own hypocrisy.
Macaque: "Why would you give the baby to a stranger!? Why couldn't have you waited until I got back?! Or found DBK or the Vixen!?" MK: "I panicked ok!? I just wanted my family back!" Macaque: "I though you said on Camel Ridge you didn't have a family?" MK, still crying: "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! I'm just some... thing dumped here. I don't even know who created me!" Macaque, angry tears: "Neither do I! Do I cry about it? No! Because I have a troop! I have a mate! And by the gods, I have cubs of my own now!" Macaque: *pulls MK into a suffocating hug* "And like it or not, that includes you too bud." MK: *starts crying harder, like a little kid again*
Eventually the second fight with the Brotherhood becomes more of trying to stop Macaque from skinning the lion then and there, at least until he hands over Yuebei. Azure given them the choice; Yuebei's life - or the Jade Emperor's.
You can imagine what they choose. Nezha can't even disagree with their choice. (Nezha: "If he lays a claw upon her head, not even the Buddha could stop what I'd do to him.").
Cue MK and Macaque dipping into SWK's Scroll column to get their Monkey King back. And for both of them to have character-shaking revelations.
And ofc back in the Celestial Realm, Azure is sitting upon his conquered throne with Yuebei on his knee. The power of the Emperor corrupting his mind to think of a world where she's his heir, and Wukong his consort, things he only dreamed of half-heartedly. These thoughts become even more frenzied as the other two uncover copies of Wukong's medical reports from Gold Star's office (shared via Lao Tzu); explaining to all three of them just how long Yuebei has been cooking for + Macaque didn't sire her. This reinenforced the corrupted Azure Emperor that Wukong was *meant* to be his Queen, otherwise, why else would Yuebei be born just shy of his release?
(Hint: It's cause Macaque came back and Wukong started trusting others again.)
Yellow Tusk is horrified by Azure's behavior, while Peng just wants to see their leader happy. The palace staff brave enough to stay (notably the Orchard Maidens) are terrified for the baby's and the world's safety.
Yuebei this whole time, is getting increasingly angry at not being able to see her parents or troop, and is about to darn near explode if the "bad kitty" doesn't let her go. Or if the "shiny birdy" doesn't stop teasing her.

I’m going to analyze the new intro for Season 4 and that’s going to be the only thing I’ll look at for Season 4, and nothing else
Obviously enough, spoilers ahead
First of all
Tumblr media
It’s nice to see that defeating LBD is now part of one of the major accomplishments
And we also got some upgrades for our favorite characters!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am so excited to see what this season will bring and I seriously hope we'll get a look into the past, during the Journey to the West
Now, onto the part that probably broke everyone (myself included)
Tumblr media
We got our favorite edgy boy and sunshine boy in what looks like the past, or a least a version of it because Wukong's outfit looks awfully like the one from the Havoc in Heaven cartoon. But there's also that weird calendar thingy from the end of season 3, and it appears in a majority of the intro, which means that's probably going to be the main "MacGuffin" of this season. The question now is, are our heroes traveling back in time or are they seeing the past through this calendar?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it seems like the bad guys that were introduced with the new lego set (the Azure Lion, Yellow Tusked Elephant and the Golden Wing Great Peng) are not so bad guys after all, seeing how friendly they are with Wukong and DBK
And speaking of our bull demon, it doesn't look like his wife his with him, but if you look at the next scene
Tumblr media
The figure on the left looks quite like Iron Fan, doesn't she? On top of that, a lot of people have theorized that she was originally part of the heavenly court before meeting DBK (I don't know whether that is true or not)
Tumblr media
And I don't need to say anything about this guy, it's the Jade Emperor!
Tumblr media
Ok, this is a very small thing, but I am so happy about how Mei is much more present in this intro than in the previous ones. It's just makes me hope she's going to have more screen time this season too
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And talking about the Gang, Tang and the other seems to have gotten quite the upgrade! I think this further solidifies my idea that the gang has somehow gone back to the past. They might even have taken their respective counterparts' places!
And now, onto the final frames!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SEEMS LIKE OUR BLUE EYED FRIENDS AREN'T DONE JUST YET LBD might be out of the picture, but something tells me Mayor hasn't given up yet. I have no idea what these blob looking creatures might be, but the fact that they seem to copy/imitate could make them into interesting enemies, especially if it means they might also be able to replicate our heroes' powers

POTENTIAL LEGO MONKIE KID SEASON 4 SPOILERS!!! PLEASE SKIP IF YOU WANT TO AVOID!
Okay, so I seriously want to talk about Season 4. Now, I will admit that I watched it untranslated, but Im petty good at figuring out context of things. So, going off of what I was able to figure out I’m going to talk about it. That being said, none of these are set in stone - obviously - and it’s purely speculation!
SPOILERS BELOW
Okay, so first of all I want to start off by talking about the “Brotherhood” Wukong is with in the Flashbacks. Which includes a Bird (Supposedly the Roc), The Azure Lion, Demon Bull King, Macaque, Wukong and an Elephant.
All of these I can work with, because DBK and Wukong were obviously part of the seven sages and it’s been theorized that Macaque was one of the sages (though this was never confirmed in the books). There is also a Lion and a Bird, who again fit.
But the elephant?! This makes me suspect they changed the Saurian - who is meant to be a dragon creature - into an Elephant.
Which means that they mixed two different groups of demons from Journey to the West into one. Which I don’t mind, again, it helps me come up with theories.
WHICH IS WHERE THIS PART COMES IN.
THERE ARE 7 SAGES TOGETHER BUT ONLY SIX AT THE TABLE.
“WHAT IS THE 7TH SAGE SAID TO BE?” YOU MAY ASK?!
A MONKEY.
Specifically the Snub-Nosed Monkey. A Sage so powerful that it is said that they could Expel Gods!
Now, who is a monkey with ties to Wukong and Macaque?
MK.
Who we just found out in Season 4 was also born from a stone!
Now, I have a second theory that MK might also be one of the other Celestial Primates - Tongbei Yuanhou or Chikao Mahou - but I’m leaning more towards the Snub-Nose Monkey on this one. BUT why would Wukong even make another monkey or play any part in it? (Since we’re not positive it was his idea this idea is much more flowy). Well that would be because this happened RIGHT AFTER THE JOURNEY WEST.
THE SAME JOURNEY HE TOOK 500 YEARS AFTER BEING TRAPPED UNDER A ROCK WHILE THE OTHER SAGES THOUGHT HE WAS PARYING WITH THE CELESTIAL REALM INSTEAD OF HONORING THEIR BROTHERHOOD LIKE THEY HAD HOPED HE WOULD. AND THE ONLY ONE WHO TRUELY HAD HIS BACK THE WHOLE TIME IS THE SAME ONE THAT HE MURDERED DURING THE JOURNEY!
My guess is if Wukong did have any part is in MK’s creation it was because he murdered his best friend and after returning he realized just how alone he was. His best friend - Liu’er Mihou - was dead because he killed him. The others he considered his friends had betrayed or tried to kill him at different times during the Journey (confirmed with DBK at least but also plays part with the whole “mixing two stories” thing) and when he got home and was finally free he also realized being ‘free’ and being ‘truly immortal’ meant that he had to spend forever alone. So, he went to Guanyin and asked for a second chance. A chance to have a friend again. A little brother to spend the rest of his time protecting, teaching and leading.
But something happened.
Again - just a guess here.
Wukong feels something change or hear a rumor. Macaque is alive. He’s alive and he’s coming for him - some day, some how - Wukong doesn’t know if this is because he’s out for revenge or if he has other plans. But the problem gets worse when the rock cracks and he suddenly has a child on his hands. A child he has to get out of that area immediately. He doesn’t even have time to clean the kid off and flies it to the city.
I have no idea why he chose Pigsy - maybe it was because he knew that he was Zhu Bajie’s ancestor/reincarnation or if there was another reason, but whatever it was he chose him. He left MK outside of the door and of course, MK was too young - too new - to know anything. To remember anything. His first memories would be fuzzy or of the restraunt.
Of Pigsy.
Not of Wukong.
But of course he still has power. Incredible power that is going to come out one way or another. So Wukong watches him - from a distance for years. He watches the power inside MK grow more and more until he’s finally ready. He gives it that extra little boost by giving MK the staff and snapping the powers the rest of the way free.
AGAIN
these are all theories I’ve had since watching Season 4 and might change after they’re translated the rest of the way. But for now, this is what I’ve got. :3
I also have a theory about what’s going on with Wukong’s current “situation” but I think that’s enough for now :P

Dimitri, Claude, and their role in what is ultimately Edelgard and Rhea’s story
It’s scarcely a hot take to claim that Claude was not well-utilized within his own story. Ultimately, Verdant Wind is just Silver Snow with a Golden Deer coat of paint slapped over the front and topped off with a - while satisfying - out of nowhere conflict with a zombified Nemesis that doesn’t mesh with the other routes. However, I think there’s an underlying reason for this, and it ties into Dimitri as well.
Claude, the Golden Deer, and the Alliance
Claude and the Alliance are something of a third wheel in the overall story, I think everyone can agree with that. Outside of Verdant Wind they do almost nothing in Silver Snow, and they appear only briefly in Azure Moon and Crimson Flower, and in both only so a neat little bow can be put on the Alliance as a faction, given all routes end with Fodlan reunited under whichever side Byleth chose.
As for Verdant Wind itself, as everyone knows by now Verdant Wind mostly just re-used Silver Snow’s elements and put them through a yellow filter. It’s why Claude’s ambitions to open Fodlan to the world has almost nothing to do with the fight against Edelgard and later the Agarthans - contrasting all other routes where the ideals of your leader tie directly into the conflict. It’s why the mystery of the Relics and Crests, brought up in White Clouds, has nothing to do with the trajectory of Claude’s character arc - the truth of what Relics and Crests really are is told for the player’s benefit, not Claude’s. It’s why Claude focuses mostly on Fodlan’s relations with the outside world while the other leaders focus on the issues of power and social injustice in Fodlan.
Claude’s an outsider in more ways than one; he feels like a character from another story who was only part-way woven into the narrative of Fodlan and its ongoing clash between the mortal and the divine. This results in his storyline barely knowing what to do with him.
Dimitri, the Blue Lions, and the Kingdom
Now getting back to Dimitri. I barely ever see anyone lambasting Azure Moon the way I do Verdant Wind, since on its face Azure Moon seems like a very tightly-woven redemption narrative whose Lord and his relation to Edelgard ties deeply into the narrative.
And sure, it is... assuming you completely ignore the parts of White Clouds where Dimitri isn’t on-screen.
It honestly baffles me how often people just give Azure Moon a pass for simultaneously setting up two storylines during the course of White Clouds (the mystery of the Agarthans, Byleth, and how Rhea ties into that, and the mystery of Dimitri’s past and how Edelgard and the Flame Emperor are involved in it) and then completely dumping one of them the moment Byleth falls off that cliff during the battle of Garreg Mach.
Those black-robed mages? Never explained.
That man who prevented Byleth from saving Jeralt? You’d never know he appears again if you don’t play another story.
Rhea? Rhea who?
Byleth’s past? You mean Dimitri’s warm hands?
I generally see people handwave away the issue with the excuse that they didn’t like the story hooks that Azure Moon ignored, but throwing a tarp over the elephant in the room and pretending it’s not there doesn’t make it go away, and pretending suddenly that Rhea, Byleth, and the Agarthans don’t matter anymore doesn’t erase the hours and hours of story that was spent setting them up throughout White Clouds.
I often see people reporting coming out of Azure Moon as a first playthrough expressing deep confusion over the overall lore of the narrative - and this is to be expected since Azure Moon wants nothing to do with that narrative. It wants to ignore the conflict between humans and dragons and instead tell the story about how Dimitri’s life got ruined and how he wasn’t able to restore the golden days of his past because he doesn’t understand the person Edelgard is now. This results in an story that can’t make up its mind which way its going, only to be forced to do so quite abruptly once Azure Moon proper begins.
Claude and Dimitri aren’t actually important to the plot
Remember that Silver Snow was the story that IS wrote first for Three Houses. White Clouds works best with it - all of the mysteries build upon the nature of Crests, Relics, who Byleth is, whether Rhea is trustworthy, the sort of person Edelgard is, who the Agarthans are, and who the Flame Emperor is. Silver Snow, for all its writing issues, goes on to address all of these during its course. Crimson Flower, being Silver Snow’s antithesis, does the same with a different spin.
At its heart, Three Houses is the tale of a millenia-spanning conflict between mortals and the divine, humans and dragons, choice and fate, and Edelgard, Rhea, and those who side with them. Dimitri and Claude, frankly, aren’t important figures in this tale.
What do either do in Silver Snow after the time skip? All but nothing. Rhea and Edelgard remain very important, and yet Claude never appears in person and Dimitri appears in one scene.
What do they do in Crimson Flower? Both are mere obstacles for Edelgard to overcome on her path to her ultimate showdown with Rhea. Though Dimitri obsesses over her and fancies himself her nemesis, Edelgard seldom spares him a second though when they’re not in direct conflict. To her, he only represents the life she lost when Aegir and Thales experimented on her.
And going further, Edelgard remains an important figure in Azure Moon, only dipping in importance in Verdant Wind. Rhea remains an important figure in Verdant Wind, only becoming unimportant in Azure Moon. Edelgard appears more often in the Blue Lions and Golden Deer sides of White Clouds than Dimitri and Claude do outside their specific routes, and Rhea has a central role throughout White Clouds.
Dimitri has room to work with, due to his close personal ties to Edelgard. His ties are one-sided, true, but they’re enough for a story to be written around so long as you cut everything else out.
Claude has no such luck; he has to simply take another story and give it the barest resemblance of one in which he’s important.
The recurring theme here is that Dimitri only matters in Azure Moon (to the detriment of nearly every other plot thread), and Claude only matters in Verdant Wind (and even then only as a focus), but Edelgard and Rhea almost always matter to the story of Three Houses.
Their role is largely for marketing purposes. It’s the same reason the Gronder Field rematch got such a big push in the pre-release marketing despite actually being a rather unimportant event in and of itself (Fleche could have tried to kill Dimitri at any point).

My Life is One Complication After Another

Marinette has always been willing to give everyone a second chance. That may have been why she still had people to consider them as her friends. That is why when Lila started yet another lie about some celebrity she, Adrien, Chloe, and Juleka were holding their laughter and rolled their eyes.
"Honest Alya I'm like this" Lila crossed her fingers "with Bruce's kids." Alya must not have recognized the name as the liar gave a small laugh "oh, right Bruce Wayne, he prefers to only go by Bruce."
"Oh my God, Girl you have got to give me an interview for my blog!" Alya lapped up the story.
"Of course" Lila smiled, then looked over at Marinette "Anything for my best friend."
At this point, Marinette wasn't paying attention to the liar. Instead Mari was talking in low voices with her actual best friend, Adrien. They sat on the very back bench and Juleka and Chloe on the bench in front of them.
That was their normal, it had been since their eighth year. Now two years later it was routine, her classmates shunned her only talking with her for class assignments. Otherwise they ignored her and that may just have been the best outcome.
She, Chloe, Juleka, Luka, and Adrien were in the park working on a photoshoot. Adrien was behind the camera while Juleka and Luka were modeling. Marinette and Chloe were changing for the next set. When they came out Mari noticed several reporters around the perimeter. Security had them handled and she focused on modeling her creation.
However this wasn't the last she saw of the reporters. They were always at the school questioning the students. What they were asking she didn't know as she was never questioned.
Three weeks of spotting and avoiding reporters, with them swarming the school she needed to get creative in order to transform. Lila was of course bathing in the limelight and attention.
Mari was the last person out of the school as she was getting the homework for her three friends who didn't come today. The first thing she noticed coming out of the courtyard was the purple limo. Her honorary uncle came to pick her up. As soon as the door closed said uncle was crushing her in a hug.
"It's Rock' n to see ya Nettie" Jagged spoke, the hug muffling his voice slightly.
"Same here Jagged," wiggling out of Jagged's hug she reached over to hug Penny. "so what's with the escort?"
"A close friend of ours wanted to meet you and He and his son's are waiting at our room," Penny explained.
"Okay..." she hesitated exiting the car to head inside "but why? Is this a commission or what?"
After a silent elevator ride, Penny hesitated at the door before speaking. "We are hoping you could clear something up actually," as she opened the door.
Mari stepped in and noticed them. The eldest looked to be around mid to late thirties, black hair and bluebell eyes, dressed in a dark charcoal suit.
The youngest of the boys seemed to be a couple years younger than her, shorter than her by a head, tanned skin, short black hair, and jade eyes. A scowl on his face partially hidden by the collar of a black peacoat and slacks as he sat on the arm chair.
A boy around her age with chin length black hair and azure eyes, a red hoodie under a grey bomber jacket and black pants. He looked like he hadn't slept in at least a week, and if how he was holding the travel mug in his hands it was probably true.
Next to him was another boy who looked a couple of years older, black messy hair about 5 cm at the longest and a white tuff in front, cerulean eyes, a brown leather jacket and distressed jeans. He seemed familiar but couldn't place it.
The last boy also had long black hair but seemed to be layered and shorter in the front, sky blue eyes, a blue varsity jacket and jeans. He would either be the eldest or second, he had a bright smile but kept shooting a glance at Fang.
Speaking of which once she was in the room and she saw him, he charged at her, knocking her over. Mari was giggling as Fang rolled over and she was lost to the world as she doted on the crocodile.
"Nettie" Penny finally managed to get her attention.
"Sorry," she stood "but if it wasn't done we wouldn't be able to talk. Hello I am Marinette Dupain-Cheng it is nice to meet you." again she smiled.
"Bruce Wayne" the man introduced himself, "and my sons. My youngest Damian." he gestured to the boy with green eyes. "Next is Tim" gesturing to the boy with the mug who rose it in acknowledgment. "Jason is the second oldest" the boy with the white tuff gave a lop sided smile. "And my eldest Dick" whose smile seemed to become brighter.
She smiled nodding at everyone before realization hit. A quick snap of her fingers before pulling out her phone, opened up her texts and started typing, ending with a quick picture of Jason.
I think I just met your idiot friend
She put away her phone. Not even a minute later another went off.
The ringing stopped once, twice, thrice, and on the fourth Jason, spoke up. "Sorry I should take this."
"Go ahead this can wait a moment." Mari smiled.
As soon as Jason answered the phone "What the hell are you doing in Paris!?" everyone heard the caller as Jason was holding the phone an arm length away.
"How did you know... you?!" it dawned on Jason.
"Guilty," she smiled. "I guess you're not as big of an idiot as Roy made you out to be."
"Hey!" Jason called before turning to the phone. "What the hell did you tell her Harper!" By now Roy was on speaker.
"You can't prove what I said, ya know," she could practically see Roy's smirk.
"Video's however," she was now smirking.
"What!!" Jason seemed to freeze.
"Bug! No!" Roy was sounding like he was going to start panicking.
"I think I have a few saved," she tapped her chin.
That was when Bruce cleared his throat. "As amusing as this is we have business to discuss."
"Talk to ya later Mari." Roy bid her farewell. "Oh and Jason don't underestimate her." the call ended.
"Okay so how do you know Roy?" Dick finally asked.
"Oh. It was at a charity ball hosted by Oliver Queen," she replied nonchalantly.
"Was it the same one where a baby elephant ended up at the event. Following you the whole time." Penny asked exasperated.
"I still don't get how you think we had anything to do with that." Marinette finally sat down. She ended up sitting on the ground leaning against the couch next to Jagged, Fang resting his head on her out stretched legs.
"I have so many questions,” Tim finally added to the conversation.
"Tt. can we stop beating around the bush already," Damian was irritated and it showed. "Are you or are you not my biological sister."
He seemed ready to pounce, unfortunately that was dangerous in Paris. Especially as she saw an akuma right outside the window. The question asked now forgotten as she focused on the corrupted butterfly.
"Nope, Nope. I am not dealing with an akuma today." she stood up. Took a deep breath and let her anger and frustrations to the surface. The smile fell from her face. "If you want a puppet have a marionette" Kwamii Adrien is rubbing off on me.
The butterfly changed targets and was heading towards her, finally gaining the other's attention. She vaulted over the couch and made a beeline to her backpack. By then the akuma was close so she tossed the backpack over to everyone and rolled out of the way.
"Glass jar, unscrew it" she called out.
"How pathetic running from a bug." Damian moved quickly to catch the butterfly but it moved and found something in his pocket. He was engulfed in purple and then he stood there in evergreen armor with golden accents. A red and yellow cape and a pitch black sword in his hand. Pocket knife, the sword is where the akuma is.
"Screw it" she turned and with two quick jabs his two arms went limp. A third knocked him to the ground.
She picked up the sword and went to Dick who was holding the jar. She took the jar, broke the sword, and went to catch the butterfly. As soon as she screwed the lid on the butterfly began to turn white.
She let out the breath she was holding as she compartmentalized her emotions yet again.
"What the fuck was that!" Jason screamed and so did Dick, minus the curse.
"Where and why do you have one of those," Jagged asked.
Finally Damian shouted "Why can I not move? What did you do?" he accused.
"Okay so the butterfly was an akuma used by Hawkmoth, Paris’ villain, to manipulate anyone with strong negative emotions. These champions or Akuma are used to attempt to retrieve magical jewels from our heroes. The jar was given to me and a few others in my class, because our class is a hot bed for akuma, by Ladybug, one of the heroes." she gave a short and simple run down. "As for Damian, those were a series of pressure points,” infused with magic to-take down people easily, "it should wear off in a few minutes."
"Teach me please!" Tim begged.
"I dunno." she started to chew her lip and shift her weight.
"Roy's warning now makes a lot more sense," Jason hummed.
"Tt. adequate," Damian muttered softly, Marinette is sure she is the only one who heard.
"Okay so where were we?" she smiled turning and sitting back down with Fang.
