Okay, hear me out. Josh and Tommy.

Sometime down the line Buck and Tommy break up amicably and stay friends and buddie happens. Buck feels kinda guilty though, partially because he feels like he might've unintentionally led Tommy on and partially because every time they talk he ends up mentioning Eddie. And Tommy is still single.

So, this rather needless guilt is just sitting in the back of Buck’s mind. And then one night, he ends up over at Maddie and Chim’s for drinks or whatever and Josh happens to be there. Josh is sipping wine and bemoaning how single he is.

And Buck gets an idea.

Buck: Hey, Josh, how’d you like to date a hot, charming firefighter?

Josh: How is that even a question?

Of course, Buck sets them up, and to everyone's delight it goes rather well! They have a similar sense of humor, full of snark and wit, so the banter is Level 100. Josh likes that Tommy is gentleman, picking him up, driving, picking up the check. Josh knows he can take care of himself, but it's nice, to feel a little special sometimes. To have some attention. And if how Tommy went about asking Buck out was anything to go by, Tommy likes treating!

A perfect match, if Buck does say so himself (and he does).

Thank you! I'm so glad you agree. Oh I know exactly how you feel. People think I'm weird too for loving Jonathan/J being my fav character and I agree I think he is the most interesting one and hes so special and underappreciated by both the characters and especially the fans.

People also think I'm weird for shipping him with these people too. I get told off constantly or someone always got this negative comment to say basically like 'ugh why do you ship THAT' and of course its always a different reason for why each ship I ship is just wrong in some way to them, but its like sorry I can't change what I enjoy and wouldn't even if I could just because the fans don't like it.

And I don't see things the way a lot of other ST fans see them I guess... they loathe Jonathan, I love him and think he is so adorable and think he is the most vital/useful/special character on the show and the people I ship him with-they had so much potential with him that was never explored on the show that I want to see explored. And each Jonathan ship just has so much depth to it or so much potential. It's like a gold mine of content that not a lot of ST fans appreciate.

In a way it sucks that there isn't a whole lot of content and appreciation for most of these ships, but its also like....thats fine because I got a million ideas about these ships to make up for that. The people that hate on Jonathan or the Jonathan ships-they're the ones missing out, not me. I'm having a lot of fun exploring each ship. And I keep shipping him with more people in the process.

Ok what is happening? What did I miss? Why is everyone leaving me? The day before yesterday or whenever it was- it was all normal talking about how much we love Jonathan and the Jonathan ships and now everyones like I'm leaving forever/well I'm leaving too...... What is this? Everyone just calm and let's stay and talk about how much we love Jonathan and gush over him some more! I promise his adorable-ness will heal you. Everyone come back!

And why is lovipop leaving for good? I need their Jargyle content. I understand needing a little break to get stuff done and that, but you were recently talking about not coming back at all too so I worry when you say you're leaving but you'll be back.

There has also been way too much gate keeping lately around here already when it comes to Jonathan and the Jonathan ships in general.

Coming on here and reading your posts-yours AND @lovipop2049 is the highlight of my day even when it isn't about the ships I still love to read the Jonathan analysis and see the Jonathan love especially since he gets so little of it.

I understand that you both need a break because it can be exhausting having to deal with the Jonathan haters all the time and all that but please come back and visit us occasionally and post more of your content when you do get it done. I have been waiting to read it see it after all for a long time now.

So please come back when you're able to and I mean both of you. @lovipop2049 That would really suck if both of you left. The main reason I come on here is to read your posts. It isn't like the only reason but it is the main reason. Especially since Jonathan is your favorite character hes mine too and you're the only ones that ship Jommy, Stonathan, Jargyle ext ext all those rare ships like I do. People like you are impossible to find.

Here is some adorable Jonathan to soothe your soul and make you both feel better. I hope you get a nice, relaxing break but also please come back when you are well rested and ready to start again.

Now SEE messing with y’all… I low (read: HIGH) key wanna post the first bensler fic I’ve ever written. But I’m mad nervous. I ain’t wrote anything in YEARS but the inspiration is THERE and I actually got several fics over here that are already complete. I think it would be really funny/queer for Buck and Tommy to get on so so well… only for Tommy and Buck to both be total tops.
