“I don’t need a goddamn babysitter,” you murmur as Logan thumbs through the controls of the X-Jet. “Could’ve done this by myself.”
Logan scoffs. “I’m not your babysitter, princess.” You roll your eyes at the nickname Logan has specially reserved just for you. “Charles said we’d be safer going together. He knows you can handle yourself.”
The X-Jet cruises effortlessly through the clouds. The air is still today. Calm. You and Logan are on your way to get some sort of flower that Charles claims to have extensive healing properties. It’s an easy mission. No fighting. No violence. You’re unlikely to have to use your powers at all. And yet, you’ve been paired with Logan.
It wouldn’t be a problem if you weren’t—admittedly—a little into him. Or rather, pining after him. There’s just something about the sarcasm that’s always thick in his voice; the way he squeezes himself into those thin beaters. How he’s always so self-assured, so thoroughly convinced he’s right. You just can’t help it. You want him. But he isn’t yours, and he probably never will be. He’s a little older—well, a lot, considering he’s been around forever. And you know it’s safer not to make attachments—not to fall in love.
Unfortunately, it’s a little too late for that.
But having him here with you now, alone, with no buffers…it’s overwhelming. You can smell him—that mix of tobacco and pine and musk and him. He’s suddenly everywhere, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You watch as his long fingers press different buttons, his hands gripping the steering wheel, adjusting thrusters. You stare at those fingers for far too long, your thoughts drifting to what else he can do with them. You think about him curling them deep inside you, stretching you open and—
“Everything okay?” You snap your head to face Logan, swallowing harshly as his voice pulls you back to reality.
You force a smile, nodding. “Yep!” You say, overcompensating just a bit. “All good,” you lie. You close your eyes, trying to push thoughts of Logan out of your head, denying the heat growing between your legs.
“Good, because we’re almost there,” Logan says, the X-Jet descending carefully. You look out the window to see the trees below. There’s a lake in the distance, but that’s it. No civilization, no houses—no one. It’s empty, peaceful.
“We’re really in the middle of nowhere, huh?” You say, glancing at Logan.
His eyes meet yours and he smiles. Warmth blooms in your heart at the sight. “My kind of place,” he says back. The X-Jet descends further as you approach a clear spread of grass to land on just ahead.
This is, in fact, not your kind of place. The humidity creeps up your back and settles under your skin. The forest is overgrown and impossible to navigate. You let Logan slice through the plant life with his claws, swiping back and forth whenever something gets in your way.
You haven’t been walking for long, but you’re already done. Perhaps Charles was right; a partner is not the worst idea on a mission like this.
You can see the flower just ahead—yellow petals and a long, green, viny stem. It glows brightly even under the dense forest canopy. “Semper in tenebris lux,” Charles had said; there is always light in darkness. And he was right. The flower illuminates everything in its path. Next to it, you can see a pretty, lavender-colored flower. You stop in your tracks, letting Logan wander ahead as you crouch down to stroke the purple petals.
“Charles didn’t say anything about not taking other flowers too, right?” You call out, watching as Logan swipes carefully at the stem of the yellow flower. He holds the dainty stem in his large hands as he walks back over to you.
“No, he didn’t. But you should be careful. It could be poisonous or—”
You ignore Logan, picking the flower anyway. You hold it up to your nose and breathe in. It’s sweet and fragrant. You twist the stem and realize the flower is sticky with sap and pollen. Your twist shakes some of the pollen up, and it lands all over your face.
“Shit,” you mutter, wiping it away. A gust of wind sweeps through the forest, knocking the flower out of your hand and spreading more of its pollen in the air. You can feel it in your nostrils, getting caught in your throat.
Logan furrows his brows as the pollen falls to the ground. “What the fuck did you do?”
You roll your eyes. “All I did was pick a flower!” You lift your hands, feigning innocence. “I’m sure it’s nothing.” You stand up, glancing once at the yellow flower in Logan’s hands and then back at Logan. “It’s pretty.”
He parts his lips, his stare focused on you. “Yeah, it is.” There’s something else in that stare, in those words. Like maybe he isn’t only talking about the flower. You shove those thoughts down as you turn around and walk back to the jet.
Your steps are suddenly very heavy. You scratch at your shoulder. Heat blooms in your chest, your stomach, across your face. You’re irritated and overheated and itchy. Your breath grows heavier and rougher with every step.
Logan notices immediately. He stops, grabbing your arm. You can’t control the way you lean into his touch, nor the way you’re craving more. “Hey,” he soothes, eyes searching your face. “Are you okay?” There’s a hint of panic in his voice.
You swallow harshly, nodding. Your throat feels thick, your skin tight and oppressive. “’M’fine,” you mumble.
“Quit lying. I can tell something’s wrong,” Logan demands. You open your mouth to persuade him otherwise, but he doesn’t give you the chance, his grip tightening around your arm. “Your skin is on fucking fire, princess. What did you do?” He cocks his head, sniffing as he furrows his brows. His voice is darker now, slower as his eyes widen. “What the fuck did you do?”
You take in a sharp breath. And that’s when you feel it, the ache between your thighs, the slick arousal soaking through your panties. The realization smacks you in the face. For a moment, you’re clear-headed, but still terrified. The pollen. That goddamn, fucking pollen. “Logan, look, I think that purple flower had some—"
He cuts you off as he yanks your arm, tugging you towards the ship. “We need to get you back to the jet, okay?”
“Oh, I am so fucked,” you cry. You know you only have a few seconds left before the effects really kick in. “L-Logan,” you stutter, almost moaning as your core burns stronger with need. “T-the pollen was everywhere. What if you got some too?”
He ignores you, handing you the yellow flower you came here for in the first place. He sweeps one hand under your legs and keeps the other at your back as he lifts you in his arms—bridal style. You can feel his heart beating in his chest. You lean into him again, searching for relief. Wetness pools between your legs. You have never felt this needy before. Your desire hurts, burns, scorches you. You rut your hips, clenching down around nothing.
“S-stop doing that,” Logan spits, restrained and quiet.
“C-can’t,” you whine. “It hurts, Logan. It hurts so fucking bad. How come you aren’t like this too?”
He pulls you tighter to his chest. “I feel a little something, but that might just…”
You tilt your head up to look at him. He works his jaw, that perfect jaw. You want to bite it, to bury your face in the crook of his neck. “Might just be what?” You ask, tentatively brushing your lips against the hollow of his throat.
“Nothing, just—fuck,” he groans as you press soft, open-mouthed kisses all around his neck now. “Don’t do that, princess. You don’t want this.”
“But I do, Logan,” you beg. The ramp to the jet lowers as you and Logan approach. “N-need you.” You bury your face into his shoulder, breathing him in. “Need y-you all the time.” The confession slips easily from your lips.
Logan’s eyes widen as he walks up the ramp and into the ship. It lifts and seals shut behind him. “You don’t mean that, sweetheart. Let’s just get you back to the mansion as quickly as possible, yeah?”
He places you down on the seat next to him, taking the flower from your hands and putting it in the jar Charles had given you. The leather cold at your back almost feels good, almost relieving—until you realize Logan is no longer holding you, touching you. You reach out towards him, grabbing his arms, pulling him back in. “Don’t go,” you plead, nails digging into his biceps. Your body is on fire. Everything is unbearably painful. “Please,” you whimper. “Need you so fucking bad, just you.”
“Fuck,” Logan curses. “I am not taking advantage of you. I am not doing this.” He stands, freeing himself from your grasp and walking over to the pilot’s chair. “I’m getting you back to the mansion and we’re going to fix this, okay?”
But that’s not good enough for you. You stand up and walk over to Logan. Your steps are shaky, your legs trembling. Your chest heaves, your heart beating rapidly. You climb into Logan’s lap, straddling him, one leg on either side. “Logan, I can’t fucking wait,” you cry, grinding down onto his lap. The pressure feels delicious.  He grabs your hips, stilling you, forcing you in place. And that’s when you feel it: his erection, hard underneath your core. “This isn’t you. You don’t really want this, don’t really want m—”
“It is me,” you protest, squirming against his hold. “Logan, I’ve wanted you for months. I-I was thinking about you t-touching me the whole way here.” You remember the way his fingers dexterously pushed all the right buttons. Need courses through you like a river, and as Logan’s hold on your hips softens, you grind down into his lap, against his erection. “S-so good,” you cry out.
His hands are still on your hips, but now he’s guiding you, rocking you against his cock. “J-just this though, okay?”
You hum, pressing your forehead to his, rolling your hips faster. The relief is like heaven. His arms wrap around your back, his fingers trailing up and down soothingly. Logan ruts into you, his erection straining against his jeans. You can feel yourself getting closer, but the pain, the need, it’s all still the same.
“Logan, it’s not gonna be enough,” you whisper, his lips ghosting yours. “N-need more. Hurts so bad.”
He presses a chaste kiss to your lips, like he’s scared to truly touch you. But he wants to consume your pain, to take it away, to feel it for you. You can see it written across his face, in the way his cock throbs against your swollen clit, how he snaps his hips into yours.
“I know, princess,” he coos, his hands like fire on your back. Your walls contract around nothing, begging for something to hold onto, to feel something sink deep inside. “Gonna take care of you.” He kisses you again, with more vigor this time, more passion. “I’ve got you, darlin’.”
You moan into his mouth. His composure is slipping, disintegrating with every roll, every rock of your hips against his. His cock notches against your clit, sending a jolt of pleasure up the base of your spine. He hikes your shirt up, the cold air hitting your overheated skin. “F-feels good,” you stammer. You’re almost there, almost hitting that peak. “S-so close.”
“I know, pretty girl,” he soothes. “Let go for me, know you can do it.”
You moan his name, your orgasm crashing into you like a crescendo. You know you’re soaking through your clothes, and probably onto Logan’s too. He’s still rutting against you, giving you more. He knows it’s not going to be enough, and he’s right. Need builds back up just as quickly as you found your release.
“Lo…” you trail off, looking up at him under lust-filled eyes. You swallow harshly, squirming in his lap helplessly. “G-gotta have you.”
He presses his forehead to yours. He works his jaw, parting his lips. “Y-you meant it when you said you wanted me before this?” But he already knows the answer. He knows you wouldn’t lie to him about that, not even now.
“Yes,” you whine, pulling him closer. He tugs your shirt all the way over your head and picks you up, hands firmly gripping your ass. “Still gonna want you after this, too.”
He curses under his breath as he places you down in the pilot’s chair. He’s frenzied and frantic as he hooks his thumbs into your pants and panties, yanking them down your legs and casting them to the side.
He spreads your legs with the palms of his hands, his thumbs brushing soft circles into your inner thighs. He’s kneeling, looking up at you. Your breath catches in your throat as his face settles between your legs.
“Could smell you before, pretty girl,” he husks, his breath fanning over your clit. “Wanted this so fucking bad.” He doesn’t keep you waiting, licking a long stripe through your folds and up to your clit. “Knew you’d taste perfect. Pretty fucking pussy.”
You throw your head back as his lips latch onto your clit, sucking harshly. He slips one hand across your back, keeping you close. His free hand climbs up your thigh, fingers exploring your folds as his tongue flits across your swollen bud. He spreads your arousal, prodding against your entrance before shoving two fingers deep inside you. “Logan!” You cry out, your walls clenching around him. He’s stretching you out, his fingers dragging inside you. He pulls out and plunges back in. He isn’t taking his time, isn’t teasing. He’s giving you what you need, pump after pump.
You look down at him, his face buried in your cunt, consuming you, swallowing you whole like a starving man. He’s lost inside you, lapping at you with unwavering hunger and desire. His tongue swirls around your clit, his teeth grazing ever so slightly. You moan his name again, and he hums against you, the vibrations of his bassy voice rocking through your body. He’s wrecking you, but it feels so goddamn good.
“That’s it, sweetheart,” he goads you along. He’s adding a third finger now, and you suck him in. You’d take anything he gives you, anything at all. “Doing so good for me, taking it so well.”
He sucks roughly, your walls clenching around him at the feeling. “Yeah?” He grunts, sucking again. “You like that? Feels good?”
“Y-yes,” you stammer, stumbling over that one simple word. “S-so fucking good.”
“I know, beautiful,” he groans, nipping at your clit in between his rough sucks. “Gonna make that hurt go away, okay?” His voice is like honey, sugar; it’s sweet, addictive. “You just gotta come for me again, can you do that?” His tongue strokes your clit, his fingers pumping faster now.
You nod your head emphatically, pleasure surging as you near your peak. “Yeah, I-I can,” you huff.
Logan smiles against your cunt between rough laps. “I know you can, sweetheart.” His fingers scissor inside you, deeper than before. He takes your clit between his lips again, sucking hard.
And that’s all it takes—you’re screaming his name, coming undone, unraveling underneath him. The release is even better than the first, more full, more complete. Logan thrusts in and out a few more times before slowly pulling his fingers from your cunt. He licks one more long stripe through your folds and looks up into your eyes.
For a moment, the fire inside has been quenched. You feel clear, levelheaded. But it doesn’t last long. “Fuck,” you moan, your head hitting against the headrest of the chair. The fire is back, spreading across your stomach, your chest. “Logan,” you whimper. “I n-need more.”
“It’s okay, pretty girl,” he coos, taking you back up into his arms. He hoists you out of the seat, his hands finding your ass, squeezing softly. You wrap your legs around his waist as he carries you across the jet, setting you down on a storage container.
You bring your hands up to his biceps. “Need you this time, Lo,” you choke, stroking up and down his arms as the heat builds painfully between your thighs.
“Are you sure?” He asks, eyes searching yours.
“Always wanted you, always sure,” you whisper, wrapping your legs tighter around his waist.
His Adam’s apple bobs in his throat. “Wanted you too,” he husks. “But I wanted it to be different, to—” You cut him off. “Just want you. It’s okay like this. I promise.” You grind against him, his erection still straining inside the denim of his jeans.
He takes the hint, and quickly unbuckles his belt, casting the leather to the metal floor with a clunk. He’s unbuttoning and unzipping his jeans, shoving them down his legs, and lining himself up with your entrance. You push your hips forward, giving him better access. His other hand pushes your bra above your breasts, exposing you completely to him.
With one hand on his cock and one squeezing your tits gently, he thrusts himself into you. He’s so deep—down to the hilt—stretching you out and working you open. He groans, flicking your nipple with his thumb, his lips at the shell of your ear. “So fucking beautiful,” he whispers, sending a chill down your spine, quenching that fire inside. “So warm, so tight.” He pulls out and plunges back in again, filling you up.
“Lo,” you whine. “More.”
“I know,” he growls, his hips snapping into yours, bottoming out with every thrust. “Gonna take care of you, pretty girl.” He squeezes your tits once more before sliding his hand down your body and slipping between where the two of you connect. His fingers find your clit, drawing rough circles around the bud. “That feel good, beautiful?”
“Y-yes, Logan, so fucking good,” you cry out as he rocks into you. His other hand grips your hip tightly, holding you in place. You hope there’s a bruise there later—proof that he touched you, proof that he fucked into you like the world was ending.
His cock rubs against your walls, your muscles contracting around him, sucking him in deeper. “Squeezing me so good, sweetheart,” he praises, his lips crashing down onto yours, swallowing your moans. He’s taking all of you, hard and fast. You can feel him twitching inside you, throbbing with the same need you feel pulsing through your veins.
Logan kisses your jaw, and then just underneath, biting down on your pulse point. You arch your back, your chest meeting his. The contact is delicious, the friction a necessity. He thrusts into you faster now, doing his all to satiate your every need. He’s getting you there, pump after pump, hitting that sweet spot inside you every time.
It’s working. You can feel yourself slipping again, melting. “Logan,” you hum, too fucked out to say anything other than his name. That beautiful name, like a song in the air, a gentle prayer, a holy ghost. He’s all you need—all you’ve ever needed.
Your walls contract, squeezing him tightly. “Fuck,” he mutters. You know he’s close too. He strokes your clit, circling roughly. “Come on, pretty girl. You can do it, let me get you there again.”
“Lo,” you cry, your eyes fluttering open and shut as he fucks into you, rutting his hips, plunging deeper still. It’s all too much. You can feel the pleasure drumming inside you, coming to a head.
Logan loosens his grip on your hip and slides his hand behind your back, pulling you into his chest. You rest your forehead against his. “Come on my cock, princess, let go.” And you do. You’d do anything for him. You moan as your orgasm tears through you. It’s all blinding white heat, liquid smooth, pleasure wracking your body.
Logan curses under his breath, close behind. He pulses inside you once, and then he’s coming undone. Your arms wrap around his back, keeping him close, letting him know it’s okay to finish inside. He fills you up, whispering praises in your ear as you both come down from your high. Such a good fucking girl. Did so good for me. So fucking good. Perfect little pussy.
He’s still inside you, pumping slowly as you ride out your orgasm. His fingers let go of your clit, his hands running up your back and tugging you closer to him. He slowly pulls out, keeping you tight against his chest.
“Are you okay?” He whispers against the shell of your ear. You take a deep breath, waiting for the heat to build again, waiting for that need to surge every cell of your being. But there’s nothing. Your nerves are suddenly quiet—silent.
“I-I think it’s over,” you stutter, still nervous that maybe it’s not. He keeps you there, holding you tightly, ready to start again if necessary.
After a few minutes, you let yourself relax. It’s not coming back. It’s over.
Logan presses a chaste kiss to the side of your head. “I’ve still got you. Not going anywhere.” Your heart rate has finally slowed down. The heat is gone. You feel comfortable in your skin again. You take a deep breath.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper into Logan’s chest.
“Nothing to be sorry for, princess,” Logan reassures, his voice gentle and soft. “I’m just glad you’re okay.”
You nod against him, but you still feel a sting in your heart. You need to make him know that you meant what you said—need him to know exactly how you feel. You swallow nervously, ready to bite the bullet.
“Logan,” you breathe. “I-I meant everything I said. It wasn’t just the pollen.” You pull yourself from his chest, looking up at him. “I wasn’t lying when I said I wanted you…” you trail off. “S-still need you now. Nothing’s changed.”
He smiles down at you, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. “I know, darlin’,” he husks. “I wanted you before, and I still do, too.”
“I know you wanted it to be different. I know it wasn’t—” But he cuts you off, his lips capturing yours, quieting your anxious rambles. “We’ll have other chances. Other times to do it the way I want.” He smirks, running his hands up and down your back.
Other chances. Other times. More. More. More. “Yeah?” You ask.
“Yeah, princess.”

idia : malleus : x gn!reader. no cw/tw. soft relationship headcanons. pt3!
idia shroud ༉⋆。˚
Dating Idia Shroud is like entering a world of late-night gaming sessions, anime marathons, and unexpectedly deep emotional connections. He might be shy and reclusive, but once he trusts you, you become his safe place.
Getting Together
Idia has had a crush on you from afar for months but actively refuses to acknowledge it. He convinces himself that you’re way out of his league.
Painfully clear. Every time you talk to him, his hair turns bright pink and he full-on shuts down. His brain blue-screens, avoiding eye contact, and randomly vanishing from rooms when you enter.
Ortho eventually gets tired of it and drags him into confessing. Idia’s idea of a confession? "Uhh, statistically, the rejection probability is 90%, so it’s fine, but I—I like you. Okay, BYE—”
he immediately collapses into a nervous mess. Internally screaming. Externally panicking. But also lowkey floating with happiness.
In a Relationship
Online dates > Going out. He’d rather stay in and watch shows, play co-op games, or binge movies than go on traditional dates. (If you insist on going out, he’ll drag himself along—grumbling but secretly enjoying it.)
He loves doing co-op games together, and if you dont play games, he’ll happily teach you (while holding back to let you win).
He starts coming out of his shell for you. Like—willingly going outside?? Sitting next to you in the cafeteria?? “I’m only doing this because your stats are maxed in ‘Affection,’ okay?!”
He talks about you constantly to Ortho. “Y/N said my hair looks cool today. That’s like… a critical hit to the heart.”
Tumblr media
malleus draconia ༉⋆。˚
dating Malleus Draconia is like stepping into a fairy tale—romantic, magical, and filled with deep, old-fashioned devotion. Since he’s a fae prince, love is no casual thing to him; it’s eternal.
Getting Together
Malleus falls in love deeply and deliberately. He doesn’t experience fleeting crushes—when he realizes he loves you, it’s serious.
He doesn’t realize he’s being obvious. Everyone—including Lilia, Sebek, and even Silver—knows he’s in love. If you don’t catch on, Lilia might “accidentally” push you both into a romantic setting.
He doesn’t confess in a traditional way. Instead, he starts courting you in an old-fashioned, fae-like manner—bringing you rare flowers, inviting you on moonlit walks, and speaking to you in poetic secrets.
When he finally confesses, it’s grand, poetic, and old-fashioned. “I have lived through countless moonrises and starfalls… but never has anything stirred me like you. If you would allow it, I wish to be by your side… eternally.”
(He’s completely serious. You’re trying not to short-circuit.)
In a Relationship
Deep devotion. Malleus treats love as sacred. Once he’s with you, he is yours forever. He’s an old soul, so he speaks to you with deep sincerity. "You are precious to me" means everything when he says it. He often calls you his treasure or his beloved.
Loves spending quiet time with you. Whether it’s stargazing, reading together, or just walking through a forest, he enjoys simple yet magical moments.
Affection is slow He's not used to being touched—so the first time you hug him, he literally freezes. He doesn’t rush into physical touch, but when he does, it’s gentle and reverent. He loves holding your hand like it’s something fragile and precious.
Talks about the future easily. Unlike humans, fae think in centuries—he naturally includes you in his long-term plans, as if your love is inevitable and eternal.
He brings you gifts from other worlds—enchanted trinkets, preserved flower petals from Briar Valley, even weather in bottles.
Also? He watches you sleep. Not in a creepy way—just in awe. “How do humans look so soft when they are vulnerable?”

GOOD FATHER ⋆。゚☁︎。⋆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: mingyu x fem!reader wc: 0.7k words warnings: mention of mingyu shirtless
Tumblr media
"daddy's here to hold ya through the night"
Tumblr media
The sight of you holding your newborn daughter, rocking her while having a smile on your face that shows to the world how happy you are made Mingyu tear up from how overwhelmed he felt. His love for you and your little daughter was undeniable.
“Is she asleep already?” Mingyu whispered as he kneeled in front of you, caressing your covered knees.
“I’m trying to make her sleep, but she refuses to,” you let out a weak chuckle. Mingyu didn’t have to be a genie to know that you were incredibly tired and just wanted to rest for at least 30 minutes. “She’s just like you. She loves to stay awake when I just want to take a little nap.”
He smiled, took off his shirt and took the baby away from you, taking her in his arms and placing her small blanket over her. “I told you to not overwork yourself, honey. I don’t want to see you like this every time. I’ll take care of this little one and of you as well.” Mingyu placed a gentle kiss on your forehead and you smiled,
“Thank you, Gyu,” you let out a sigh of relief when he placed a pillow under your head and fixed your blanket with his free hand. “But what’s up with taking off your shirt? I didn’t get it.”
“This?” He looked down at his bare chest while starting to rock the little girl in his arms. “I read an article that said it’s beneficial for the baby.”
You narrowed your eyes and let out a scoff. “You saw that in Jane the Virgin when we were watching it together.”
Mingyu smirked and laughed, his chest vibrating against your daughter’s tiny body. “You got me there, but when you were pregnant I really read an article about it! It’s called skin-to-skin contact and it’s very beneficial for her and for you, I can give you a little show before you fall asleep, y’know? Everyone wins.”
You looked at his toned abs, his strong arms and large hands holding your little ball of joy and you nodded at his words, it was indeed a little show to you. Ever since you got pregnant, anything parent related that Mingyu did was a reason for you to get a little bit more attracted to him, so that sight was prettier than any Monet’s painting.
“I can’t lie, I’m quite invested in this little show, it’s very entertaining.”
He smiled and danced in a sensual yet playful way, making sure the baby was still comfortable in his arms. You laughed in response and clapped your hands, hyping him up. Mingyu mirrored your laughter before sitting on the chair in front of the bed and focusing on his angel that was in his arms, almost falling asleep.
“My little girl,” he carefully booped her tiny nose. His heart burned with love when he saw her tiny hands wrapping around his finger. “I’ll do anything to keep you safe, to keep you happy and to make sure that you never forget how much I love you. You’ll be so loved that no one will ever give you less love than you deserve.”
You watched him whispering sweet promises to your daughter with a small and tired smile on your face, your body threatening to finally give you the rest that you need to.
“Mingyu…”
He looked up at you with a soft smile on his face. “Yes, love?”
“You’ll be the best dad ever. She will love you forever and will always be grateful for having you as her father.” Your voice was quiet and slow as you started to drift off.
Mingyu felt so touched by your sleeping words that he had to hold back his tears. He looked down to the baby and saw her sleeping peacefully, he stood up and walked towards the crib, putting her in it with all the care in the world, making sure to fix her blanket.
When he got into bed beside you, he wrapped his arms around your waist, put you closer to him and hid his face in the crook of your neck. “You’ll be a good mom too, the best mom ever. Can’t wait to grow old with you and watch her growing up and becoming who she wants to be… I’m sure you’re gonna be her role model.”
Mingyu knew you weren’t listening, he knew you were in a deep sleep, a deep sleep that you deserved more than anyone else in this universe. He kissed your neck and mumbled a ‘I love you’ before closing his eyes to sleep as well.

You arrived in Forks on a research grant, studying Old Wood Forests for your Masters Degree in Environmental Science. As you conduct your research, you feel more and more at home in Washington, and immerse yourself in the local community and history.
The more you learn about the history of the Quileute Tribe and it's connection to the surrounding ecosystem, the more you dig, until eventually you uncover a secret never meant for human eyes.
The Quileutes are a pack of werewolves, living in secret on the Reservation.
Of course, they quickly figure out that you're onto them, and you're dragged into a harrowing trial with Chief Billy Black and the pack’s alpha, Sam Uley. After hours of deliberation, and you begging for your life, they decide to allow you to live on one condition: you remain in Forks and never publish what you've found.
You agree instantly, grateful to be spared, and the pack brings you into the inner circle, including putting you up in a small house on the edge of La Push.
All seems to have worked out swimmingly, until Emily invites you to the alpha’s home for a bonfire so you can formally meet everyone.
Paul Lahote was livid when he learned that Sam had spared you. An outsider, a traitor. If it was up to him, you would have long ago been forest food, their secrets safe within the soil.
Paul had never met you, but he didn't trust you, didn't like the way you weaseled yourself into his beloved family. You were good as dead, as far as he was concerned.
That is, until he walks into Emily's kitchen, finding you peeling potatoes at the table, laughing at some joke Embry told, and his world imploded.

Six months later
Whoever said imprinting was the world's greatest blessing was full of fucking shit.
Paul glared at you across the fire, nibbling on a s’more and nursing a beer as if you fucking belonged here. Those were his beers. The packs s'mores.
What he would really like to know, is where you got the fucking audacity.
“Think louder, would’ya?” Jacob teased, knocking his shoulder. “She figured out what was making the fern grove sick, she deserves a beer.”
Paul rolled his eyes, throwing back the rest of his beer and stomping off to the booze table. Who cares about fucking plants, anyways?
You flicked your h/c hair over your shoulder, the glossy waves reflecting the orange firelight. Seth cracked some lame joke and you burst out laughing, the sound like the first spring rain.
Pain bloomed in chest, an ache he felt to the marrow, and he had to grip the table to stay upright, had to look away from your pretty smile. A war waged within him. Make you laugh again, or ensure it's your final one?
The table cracked under his grip.
“Lahote,” Sam warned in his mind. “Easy.”
Paul eased his grip, tried to control his breathing, his anger. He'd worked so hard on managing his rage, he wouldn't let you ruin that progress.
You'd already ruined everything else in his life.
Carefully, he stepped away, ensuring the table wasn't about to collapse before sitting back down beside Jacob with a fresh beer. He should just go inside, or out on a patrol. Anything but sit here and suffer your existence.
But something rooted him to the log, periodically scanning the perimeter behind you to ensure nothing pale and sparkly lurked in the shadows.
If anything would have the pleasure of ending your little existence, it would be him.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Paul seemed extra scowly tonight, his handsome face pinched in perpetual disdain.
You laughed a little louder at Seth's decidedly not funny impersonation of Sam, just to see Paul's frown deepen. And it did, his ire as predictable as a clock.
You knew he had imprinted on you, everyone within a ten miles radius knew he imprinted on you, but somehow, it only seemed to deepen his loathing.
If only they'd seen his face when he first saw you.
It was probably cruel of you to exploit his involuntary affliction, but you just couldn't help yourself. He just made it so easy. And it didn't help that he was hot as fuck when the claws came out.
You polished off your beer, enjoying the gentle buzz humming in your veins. A terrible, wicked idea popped into your head.
Moving towards the table, you snagged a bottle of whiskey, the one you happened to know was Paul's favorite, and poured yourself a micro shot. His dark eyes were already on you, glaring a hole into your back. Fighting a smirk, you slammed the shot back. You let out a small, deliberate moan as the alcohol burned its way through the chill lingering on your skin.
Every unpaired wolf perked up a bit at the sound, those whores, and you could practically feel the rage buffeting off Paul as he stared at you.
“You have a deathwish, girl.” Leah teased, offering you another shot. “I like it.”
You grinned up at her, accepting the liquor. Leah flinched then, her smile pulling into a grimace, and she took the shot back before you could drink it.
“You might have a deathwish, but I sure don't.” She swallowed the shot herself, patted you sympathetically on the shoulder, and returned to her spot by Seth.
The rest of the night, the pack continued to snatch drinks from you. You couldn't even sneak a sip, with their ridiculous hearing and sense of smell catching you as soon as the alcohol touched your lips.
Even Seth slapped a shot out of your hand.
“What the fuck!” You shouted at him, your buzz very nearly gone.
Seth winced. “His orders,” he said, tilting his head towards Paul, who was busy tearing into a turkey leg.
I think the fuck not.
You marched over to him, snatched his sweating, unopened can of beer off the table, and jammed your pocket knife into it. With a crack, you opened it and pressed your mouth to the hole, shot-gunning it in ten seconds flat.
A personal record.
As soon as you dropped the empty can onto the ground, you regretted all of your life choices.
Paul was on you before you had a chance to step backwards, one massive hand around your throat, the other gripping your pocket knife.
Terror lanced through you, and you watched his pupils dilate as he started down you, white teeth bared. It took you a moment to register that you could still breathe, that he wasn't actually hurting you. In fact, he'd been handling that poor turkey leg more roughly that he was currently holding you.
“Leah was right,” he growled, the sound raising the hair on your arms. “You do have a deathwish.”
“You don't get to control what I can and can't do,” you bit back, pushing your face closer to his to prove that you weren't afraid.
Even though you definitely were afraid, and a little aroused. But mostly afraid.
His nostrils flared when a pulse of desire made your pussy clench, but you couldn't find it in yourself to embarrassed. You knew you turned him on too. And it didn't help that your bodies fit together too right, a jagged pair of puzzle pieces.
“Paul, back off,” Sam ordered. The pack was frozen around you, afraid that one wrong move would result in you losing your throat.
Paul squeezed a little tighter, letting you feel the power he had in this moment. It would be nothing for him to crush your windpipe, to snap your neck.
He leaned in a little closer, his breath tickling the hair around your ear. “I think I can,” he whispered.
He took a step back, and as soon as his hand fell away, Jacob tackled him in his wolf form, creating several feet of space between you.
Paul shifted then, his grey wolf exploding from within, and knocked Jacob backwards. They began to fight in earnest, growling and gnashing as they tumbled through the grass.
Guilt killed the last dregs of your buzz, and your ego. Why did you have to push him? Nothing good could come of it, and it only made him hate you more.
You took off towards your house before the fighting could get any worse, kicking yourself for being so fucking stupid.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Y/n didn't come around for two weeks after that, except to go the store or the library. Paul would know, your house was his first and last stop on every perimeter check.
He'd been visiting even more the last week or so, your absence an unbearable itch under his skin. It was like missing a front tooth, a constant distraction, and he couldn't not prod at it, even though it hurt.
The feeling of your fluttering pulse beneath his fingers became the rhythm of his life. It was burned into his memory, the way you looked up at him, eyes round with fear, the smell of your arousal reaching like hands to squeeze his brain, lulling the beast in his mind to docility.
Every time he looked at you, he saw his forever. A forever of home cooked meals, laughter, warmth. A life that was stolen from him. A life he didn't deserve.
He refused to be domesticated. Especially not by a nosy, manipulative, stubborn little human like you.
It was better you stayed away. That was what he wanted this entire time. Wasn't it?
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
You couldn't not attend Jacobs birthday party, no matter how badly you wanted to avoid a certain dagger-eyed dime piece.
So you put on a bikini, wide-leg jeans, and an oversized quarter zip, and made your way to the beach. God knows why he wanted to have a bonfire on the beach in fucking October, but it's not like they got cold.
You and Emily would have to stick it out together. Hopefully Sam was considerate enough to pack a blanket.
Everyone was already on the beach, splashing in the frozen water or chatting around the fire. Seth spotted you first.
“Y/n!” He shouted, bounding over to you, shirtless and sandy.
“Are you insane?” You laughed. “It's like 40 degrees!”
“Aw, c’mere.” He wrapped you up in a bear hug, the heat of his skin chasing away the chill already biting through your clothes.
You buried your nose into his shoulder, the tip already numb. “Fuck you guys, seriously,” you mumbled.
Suddenly, Seth was wrenched away from you and you stumbled forward, into a tan brick wall of muscle.
“Where the fuck have you been?” Paul snapped, righting you on the uneven sand before quickly dropping his hands.
“My house?” You answered, quirking an eyebrow. Rarely did he ever address you this directly. Your pulse raced in your chest, terrified, thrilled to see him again. Did he miss me?
“Why?” He demanded.
You couldn't answer him. What were you supposed to say, that you were hiding from him? That you were embarrassed by your own desperation to be close to him? That you craved his attention, his touch, even if it was rough?
At every interaction, he broke you a little bit more. Left you rougher around the edges. But a part of you loved it, craved it. His passion made you feel alive.
“Got sick of your fucking attitude,” you said instead. “Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to say hello to the birthday boy.” You pushed past him, trudging through the sand to Jacob, who was watching from the edge of the water with a bewildered expression.
You shirked your clothes as you went, not caring about the cold any more. Your loathing, your hunger, would keep you warm.
Down to your cherry red bikini, you threw your arms around Jacobs neck, pressing a loud, smacking kiss into his cheek. “Happy birthday, Jake!”
He kept his arms wide, chuckling nervously. “Thanks, y/n. I think the water is a little cold for you—”
“Don't care!” You sing-songed, releasing him and wading deeper into the water. It was definitely too cold for you, the bones in your feet already aching and tingly.
“Just don't get your hair wet—”
You dove into the water, the temperature knocking the air from your lungs, making your whole body clench in aversion. You popped up on the other side, splashing an arc of water at him. “I'll live,” you replied.
He shrugged, splashing you back, and you played in the water with other wolves until your lips started to turn blue, your body shivering too hard to stand upright.
“Y/n, out of the water!” Sam shouted from the shore.
“B-b-but I'm h-hav-ving f-f-f-fun!”
“Now.”
“I'm f-f-fin-n-ne!”
Suddenly, you were airborne, strong arms scooping you up out of the water with a thick blanket. You yelped in surprise, looking up to see Paul, still dressed despite being waist-deep in the water, bundling you into his chest with the blanket wrapped around you.
“H-hey!” You protested, a violent shiver making your teeth clack together.
“Another word and I'll drown you,” he snapped, tucking your toes against his scalding hot ribs as he carried you out of the water.
“F-f-fuck y-y-ou!”
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Paul held you close to his chest, your body shaking so hard it was difficult to keep the quilt tucked around you. Your lips were far too blue for his liking, and your teeth were chattering so hard he feared they might crack.
Jacob should have never let you get into that water—no, you weren't Jacob’s responsibility. You were his, as loath as he was to admit it.
You curled into him, the tip of your nose an icecube against his clavicle. “S-s-sorry,” you mumbled.
He looked down at you, shocked.
“For almost killing yourself? Why would I give a shit?”
You fell quiet again, and guilt stabbed him through the chest. He heard your heart rate begin to slow, the cold still taking it's toll. You were so frozen, steam was rising from his skin where you touched, leaving a trail as he carried you to the fire.
He set you down on a pile of blankets as close as he could get to the fire without burning your eyelashes off. He wrapped you up in a dry quilt, then another, and planted himself behind you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, his legs on either side of yours.
“W-what are you—”
“Not a word,” he growled. You were still shivering, your familiar scent tinged with salt water and traces of Jacob and Seth.
He fought against the jealous rage that stirred in stomach, instead focusing on your heart rate, your unsteady breathing.
The pack circled nervously, unsure if they should intervene. When Seth came a little too close, mumbling something about your clothes, Paul growled, a low, menacing rumble from his chest, and Seth scampered off.
The scent of fear spiked when he growled, and he found himself shushing you, burying his head into the blankets against the back of your neck. It was involuntary, acting on the urge to comfort you before he'd even processed it. But it seemed to settle you, so he remained.
It settled him too, the now rhythmic thump of your heart, your even, almost drowsy breathing.
“Can Emily give her a drink?” Sam asked a little while later through the mind connection, almost at a whisper so Paul didn't startle.
“Yes,” Paul answered, and a few moments later, Emily appeared, passing a steaming mug of hot chocolate in your hands.
The chocolatey smell mixed with your scent was almost too much, so sweet and decadent. He was beginning to melt like the giant marshmallow on top.
“Hey,” you whispered after a few sips, your voice back to normal
He didn't correct you for speaking, his eyes closed as he wallowed in your scent like a dog in the mud.
“Paul.”
“Hm?” He grunted, lifting his head.
“I'm starting to sweat.”
Reality rushed back to him, shattering the haze in him mind. What the fuck was he doing? You fooled him, just like you fooled the rest of them.
He wrenched away from you, springing to his feet. Your scent was all over him, embedded in his skin, his hair. Driving him insane. You drove him fucking insane.
“Paul, wait.” You scrambled to your feet, dropping one of the blankets, flashing him a glimpse of your little bikini as you reached for him. Fuck, how did he forget your were in a bikini?
“Fuck off, y/n,” he snarled, and you staggered back.
“But—”
“The only reason I pulled you out of that fucking water because of you die, I do to. I don't fucking care about you, imprint or not. You mean nothing to me. You're better off getting that through your thick fucking skull.” The words spilled out before he could stop them, brutal and scathing, and he watched your heart break.
Maybe if he left you in a pile of broken parts on the fucking floor, he'd finally be rid of you.
The wolf came then, shredding the last of his humanity, and he took off into the woods, diving through bushes and trees to scrape your scent off his fur.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Paul left you there, broken on the beach. Sam and Embry followed him into the woods, but the others descended on you, concern clear of their faces.
But you shrugged them off and let Emily, Emily only, walk you home.
You cried yourself to sleep, confused, hurt, angry, devastated. You'd felt something when he held you, like he was holding all of your pieces together, whole for the first time in your life, only to smash you apart again.
You didn't understand, couldn't understand, what he was feeling. Why he was so against this connection that was between you. It's not like he could escape it. The imprint wouldn't magically vanish.
You were tethered together, for better or worse.
For the next several weeks, he avoided you like the plague. If you entered the same room as him, he would leave it. If you walked through town, he'd disappear into the woods.
This place you'd fallen in love with was starting to feel like a prison. Both of you were trapped here, orbiting each other like hostile satellites.
Late one night, you were having a glass of wine at Emily's when frantic voices floated through the open window.
Emily was immediately on her feet, rummaging through cupboards, starting a boiling pot of water. A moment later Sam burst through the door.
“Lahote got shot,” he said to her, then ripped the tablecloth off the tables, sending your wine and the dishes flying.
Your heart dropped through the floor. “What—”
“Where?” Emily said, setting her first aid kit on the counter and starting to rip up some bandages.
“Wait—”
“His side, he can't shift back. Y/n, he—”
The others burst into the room next, four of them carrying an enormous gray wolf on their shoulders. Paul.
“Here, set him here.” Emily gestured to the table, and they slowly eased him onto it. “Oh, God,” Emily hissed, turning to grab more bandages.
Jacob grabbed you before you could get closer. “Don’t, y/n,” he said, his hands covered in blood.
Paul's breath was coming out in broken whines, his entire left side slick with dark blood.
“Why can't he shift?” You asked, panic rising in your throat, choking you.
Jacob didn't answer, his face twisted in pain.
Understanding dawned. If Paul shifted, he would die.
You shoved past Jacob, catching him by surprise, and rushed to Paul's giant head, his eyes pinched shut, muzzle stained with gore.
“Paul,” you whispered, wrapping your arms around his head the best you could considering it was the size of your torso, digging your fingers into his thick fur. He was colder than he should be, his heartbeat sluggish.
Sam placed a hand on your shoulder. “Y/n, you shouldn't. He might hurt you when Em—”
You shook the alpha off, clinging tighter to Paul's fur, breathing in his pine-tinged scent. “I don't care.”
Emily returned with an amber bottle, passing it to you. “Four drops on his tongue. No more.” And she set to laying out her supplies.
You looked at the label. Morphine.
“Paul, baby, I need you to open your mouth for me,” you asked, stroking his cheek. “Please, it'll make the pain go away.”
His eyes fluttered open, the richest mahogany, and locked onto your face.
“Please,” you asked again, a tear snaking down your cheek.
His mouth cracked open, revealing the torn, bloody muscle inside.
“That's good, love. Just like that.” You dropped four clear pearls of medicine onto his tongue. “Good boy, thank you.” You gently closed his mouth again, his eyes still firmly locked on you, even as his eyelids began to drop.
You went to pull away and set the medicine on the counter when he loosed a heart-wrenching whine, his whole body shifting on the table.
“Shit! Hold him,” Emily ordered, but he bucked them off again, staring at you.
Realizing, you dropped the medicine and rushed back over to him, throwing an arm over his neck and burying your face in the dense scruff at the base of his throat.
He immediately settled, tilting his chin down to rest against you, his nose pressed into your shoulder.
“I'm going to start removing the bullet,” Emily said to no one in particular. “If he starts to get aggressive, I want her out of here.”
The pack nodded, tightening their grips around him.
His body had just started to go lax form the morphine when Emily started digging for the bullet. You felt him tense, but he held perfectly still, almost trembling with effort.
The pack looked at one another, clearly surprised.
“He can't sit still for a splinter,” Sam muses, eyeing the two of you with a quirked brow.
“Got it!” Emily said, holding the pliers in the air, a crimson hollow point pinched in the end of them. “Less then two inches from his heart,” she said, dropping the bullet into the sink with a clatter.
Paul huffed against your neck, his body relaxing again.
You stroked his head, trying to soothe him. “You did so good, baby. You're going to be alright. Just a few stitches and you'll be able to heal on your own,” you whispered in his ear, even though you knew the rest of the could hear you.
Emily poured alcohol into the wound, and he bucked, a vicious growl ripping from his throat. Jacob yanked you backwards before Paul's fangs found you, Sam grabbing Emily as Paul roared.
“Outside!” Sam ordered, looking at Jacob. Jacob nodded and hauled you out into the cold, shutting the door behind you both.
“No, I need to be in there!” You shouted, fighting against him.
“Paul told us to take you out of there!” Jacob yelled back, and you stumbled away, stunned. “Right after he got shot, he said to make sure you weren't there. And he screamed ‘get her the fuck out of here' just now.”
“But—” You felt your knees sag. You thought for sure he was asking you to come closer…
“You saw what happened to Emily,” Jacob murmured, and you snapped your head back towards him. “Paul wouldn't survive doing that to you, y/n.”
You stared at him, tears in your eyes.
“He hates hurting you. But in his mind, it's the only way to keep you safe.”
“From what?” You cried, frustrated, heartbroken. Another agonized howl rips through the still November air.
“All of this! Us! Him!” Jacob threw his arms out. “When you discovered us, you trapped yourself. When he imprinted on you, he trapped you further.”
“But I want to be here!” You shouted back, voice echoing off the pines. “I want this.” Tears clogged your throat, the anger draining out of you. “I want him.”
Seth opened the front door, the warm light a halo around him. “He's out cold, but shifted back. He's going to be okay.”
You ran up the stairs and into the house. Paul, human Paul, was stretched across the table, a blanket tossed over his lower half. Emily was bandaging his ribs, a thick pad of gauze just to the left of his sternum.
“He's fine,” Emily said, sensing you hovering in the doorway. “A few days of rest and he'll be as growly as ever.”
“You should go home, y/n,” Sam said. “He doesn't need any stress right now.”
Stress. Was that all you were?
You nodded and grabbed your coat hanging by the door, feeling like you'd been shot yourself. Jacob offered to walk you home, but you declined.
You'd had enough for werewolves for a lifetime.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
When Paul woke up, he was alone in his room, the curtains drawn. Memories of that night rushed back to him, the agony, the searing rip of the bullet, your hands in his fur, soft voice in his ear.
“You did so good, baby. You're going to be alright.”
“Paul?” Sam cracked the door open. “You alright?”
“Where is she?” He asked, tugging on a pair of sweatpants.
“Paul—”
He didn't need to ask again, he could feel you through the imprint, his little shadow.
“Lahote, wait—” Sam grabbed him when he went to leave the room.
“What?” He snapped, the need to see you like a beast in his chest.
“She’s leaving.”
Paul's heart stopped. “She..what?”
“She's packing now. Chief said she was free to go if she burned her notes.”
He missed the last part, already running out of the house and into the street. He ran barefoot across town, ignoring everyone shouting from him, both outside and in his head.
Finally, he saw your little house at the edge of the beach, your car in the driveway, trunk open and piled with boxes.
No, no, no, no.
He vaulted over your stairs, barreling through the door.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Your front door slammed open, the top hinge breaking with an audible crack. You dropped the books your were packing, looking up to find Paul racing towards you like a heat seeking missile.
“Paul, what—”
“Shut up, y/n,” he growled. His hands came up to your face, grabbing you and tugging you towards him. His mouth collided with yours, rough and desperate. Strong hands hauled you closer, crushing you against his bare chest in a bruising grip.
Your lips parted under his, your hands grasping for purchase along the planes of his chest as you kissed him back. His lips were surprisingly soft, supple and beautifully shaped, though nothing about the kiss gentle. Your lungs screamed for air, your whole body burning, burning, burning alive for him.
He wrenched himself away, holding onto the door frame like a lifeline. His chest heaved, eyes wild and dark. The frame cracked under his hands.
“Are you okay?” You asked, breathless. He still had bandages wrapped around his torso.
With one hand, he ripped them clean off, revealing nothing but a dimple of scar tissue. “If you want to go, I won't stop you. But I couldn't let you leave without…” his voice trailed off, gaze fixed firmly on your puffy, spit-slick lips.
You took a stuttering breath, tears brimming along your lash line. “I want you to want me to stay,” you admit, barely above a whisper.
He stared at you, tracking each tear as they rolled down your flushed cheeks. His expression softened, eyes round, lips slightly parted. “I want you to stay with me, but you're better off—”
You flung yourself towards him, trusting he would catch you, and he did, wrapping your legs around his waist. “I'm not,” you said, raining kisses across his cheeks, over his lips, his eyes, his jaw. “I'm not.”

In the end, I realized the hurt never turned to hate. No matter how much my emotions led me to feel so. I never stopped loving people. I stopped trusting them.
The art of observing and not absorbing
Not liking me is fine, but making up lies to destroy my character is weird.

The soft classical music echoed through the grand wedding hall as the doors opened, the whole room turning around to see you standing there, bouquet in hand, waiting to finally walk down the aisle towards the love of your life.
Your family were all standing in the front row, tissues already dabbing at the tears falling down their cheeks.
On the opposite side, Charles' mother stood alongside his older brother, her eyes shining with unshed tears.
Everyone had been waiting for this day ever since you and Charles got together. They all knew you would end up getting married, they could tell that you were made for each other.
The day when you announced your engagement, both of your families cheered and jumped up and down in excitement, happy that both of their children had found love with each other.
And now, here you were, 4 years after the first night he had kissed you and asked you to be his girlfriend, walking down the aisle to finally seal your future together.
You turned your head to look at your father, who was already looking at you with a fond smile on his face.
"Are you ready?" he whispered, his eyes sparkling as he looked at his little girl, all grown up and ready to get married to the love of her life.
You smiled and took a deep breath before you nodded, turning around to face the hall once again.
The two of you slowly started to walk towards the aisle, your eyes finding Charles' and your gaze never faltering. You could see, even from far away, that he was struggling not to cry, seeing you in your wedding dress and knowing that you were going to be his wife in less than half an hour making him more emotional than he thought it would.
The guests gazed in awe at you as you walked past them, your wedding gown flowing effortlessly after you.
When you finally reached Charles and your father gave you away to him, you were barely holding your tears in.
"Hey" Charles whispered as you now stood in front of him, smiling through the tears.
"Hey" you whispered back, turning around slightly to pass your bouquet to your maid of honor, who happened to be your sister-in-law, Charlotte.
Turning back to him, you got lost in his eyes, the whole world around you ceasing to exist.
Neither of you registered what the priest was saying, too lost in each other. So many unspoken words were being exchanged between the two of you, vows that this moment was forever.
"And now, you may kiss the bride"
Those were the words that finally snapped you out of your daydream and brought you back to reality.
Charles gave you a wide smile before he closed the gap between the two of you and pressed his lips against yours, holding your face in one hand and keeping a tight hold on your waist with the other.
The entire church hall cheered and clapped as they rose to their feet, yours and Charles' mothers visibly dabbing their eyes with tissues every now and then.
Every single guest was on their feet, whistling as Charles didn't seem to want to let you go.
"Charles" you said as you giggled against his lips, your cheeks flushed as you knew everyone was staring at the two of you.
Charles, your now husband, smiled and gave you one last peck before he finally pulled away, his eyes twinkling as he looked at you.
Turning back towards the hall, Charles took your hand in his and raised both of them above your heads, smiling widely as your guests cheered even louder and threw flowers up in the air.
You giggled as you looked at Charles before you started walking down the steps and towards the double-oak doors you just stepped through mere minutes ago.
But now, you were walking out a married woman.
♡♡♡♡♡
The wedding reception was everything you had dreamed it would be and so much more.
The venue was decorated exactly as you and Charles had envisioned it, with adorning flower arrangements, twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling, elegant chandeliers adorned with flower vines.
Everything seemed taken out of a fairytale book.
The hours faded away as everyone gathered at the venue. The band was playing soft music in the background, everyone dancing quietly with their partners on the dance floor.
You and Charles were in the middle of the dance floor, swaying slowly to the music, your foreheads resting against each other.
"Can you believe we're married?" you whispered, opening your eyes to gaze up at him.
He smiled at you, his arms tightening around your waist to bring you even closer to him.
"I can't thank my lucky stars enough than I can now officially call you my wife" he said, leaning his head down to trail small kisses up and down the exposed skin of your neck.
You giggled, his his breath tickling your skin.
“Charles, there’s people all around us. Please do try and have some patience until we get to our suite” you whisper in his ear, an undertone of sensuality laced in your voice.
Charles groaned silently in your ear, his hands tightening his hold around your waist.
“Can’t we just go now?” he whispered again, leaving open mouthed kisses along the side of your neck.
You shook your head, giggling as you held the back of his neck.
“Charles, we’re only getting married once. Let me enjoy our wedding before we get to enjoy our wedding night later” you said, accentuating the word later.
Charles pouted for a second, but then nodded and smiled at you.
He knew how much you had been looking forward to getting married, how stressed you had been while you were planning everything with his mother and your sister-in-law for the months leading up to the wedding.
He owed you the wedding of your dreams, he owed it to you to give you the time of your life on this special day for your life together.
And so, as the night wore on, everything was a blur. People were dancing, everyone was mingling with each other, drinks were shared and the famous cake came at midnight.
Everything was perfect.
And when it finally ended and it was time for you and Charles to retreat back to your apartment, that’s when the real fun would begin.
♡♡♡♡♡
"You're so beautiful, and all mine" Charles whispered into the shell of your ear, his sweaty body pressed deliciously against yours.
The two of you had barely made it to your suite once the wedding party had ended, Charles' hands desperately toying with the lace at the back of your wedding gown.
And now, he had you sprawled on the hotel room queen sized bed, your wedding down carefully placed on a chair, his suit thrown somewhere on the ground, and his only focus was you.
“Charles” you moaned, scratching at this back with your nails.
He felt so good, reaching spots inside of you that had you seeing stars and losing yourself in the feeling of him.
Charles was driving his length in and out of you, making sure that you felt every single inch that he had to offer you.
“My wife, my beautiful wife, I’m so lucky to have you all to myself like this” he whispered, slowing down his thrusts to lean down and take one of your nipples in his mouth.
His tongue was swirling your nipple around in his mouth, all the while his hips were thrusting in and out of you with a soft urgency.
Your nails were digging into the skin of his back, soft whimpers leaving your mouth every so often.
The feeling of him was overwhelming, the passion with which he was making love to you making your head go dizzy.
His cock was reaching depths inside of you like never before, the stretch of your walls burning deliciously to accommodate his thick length.
“Charles” you whined out when his cock hit a particularly sensitive part inside of you.
He responded by giving you yet another deep stroke, and another, and another until all you could get out were whines and moans, your hands still clawing at his back.
“Are you close, mon cœur?” Charles whispered in your ear, his lips and his hot breath ghosting against your hot skin.
You bit your lip and nodded, not trusting your voice in the moment.
Charles smirked, groaning as he felt your walls pulsating around his length. He kept peppering open-mouthed kisses along the skin of your exposed neck, his hips giving you deep thrusts.
His hand gravitates towards your heated core, his thumb finding your overstimulated bundle of nerves.
Your back arched as his thumb made contact with your clit, your eyes rolling in the back of your skull. You were so close, you could feel every single nerve in your body tingling and burning as the pit in your stomach drew closer and closer.
“I’m so close” you panted out, your mouth agape.
Charles growled and sped up his thrusts, rubbing even harder and quicker on your clit, chasing his own high as he felt your walls start to pulsate against him.
You moaned out loudly, your mind going fuzzy as you suddenly came around his cock, your body arching and your legs wrapping themselves tightly around Charles’ waist.
Your fingers drew blood against his back, your nails digging into his skin as your body shook with the aftershocks of your intense orgasm.
“Oh, fuck” Charles groaned out as he struggled to thrust between your tight walls, giving you a couple more thrusts before he buried himself to the hilt, spurting rope after rope of cum inside of your tight walls.
The both of you panted in unison, Charles tensing every now and then as you milked him dry of his cum, the warmth inside of your womb delicious.
“That was…” you started, resting your head against the pillow.
Charles chuckled, leaning down to kiss you on the forehead, cradling the side of your face in one of his hands.
"Amazing? Incredible? Unearthly?" he said, his eyes twinkling as he still held himself up over your body, his length still sheathed inside of your gummy walls.
You giggled, biting your lip as you nodded.
"Our first time as husband and wife" you said, your voice dreamy as you stared at the man that you can now call your husband.
Charles smiled, taking in your features illuminated by the moonlight.
"That's right" he whispered, leaning down to seal your new chapter together with a kiss.
Your new life as husband and wife.

“i should put it all behind me, shouldn't i? but i see her in the back of my mind, all the time.”
“i'd never ask who was better, 'cause she couldn't be more different from me. happy and free…”
“did i cross the line? you say no one knows you so well, but every time you touch me, i just wonder how she felt. valentine's day, cryin' in the hotel i  know you didn't mean to hurt me, so I kept it to myself.”
Tumblr media
kim yuna is her name. she was one of my closest friends, knowing her since primary school. i loved her like she was my own flesh and blood. nothing could ever come between us, well that’s what i thought… that was until he came into her–our lives.
jeong jaehyun.
it was a good 5 years that the two of them were together. heck everyone was sure you the pair would get married, have a family, and grow gray and old together. yet, they seemed to fall out of love and let one another go.
i remember that night, the night she came over to me crying on my shoulder. it was just the two of us that night, i held her tight, trying everything in my power to comfort her. i just couldn’t fathom how someone like jaehyun, who once showed her the world could let her go. love was a complicated thing, an inexplicable feeling that could dissipate in the blink of an eye.
so from that day on, it was just us two. “you’ll never leave me right, y/n?” i recalled yuna’s soft voice as we ate breakfast the following day. “of course not,” i replied. it became my mission to be with yuna forever, nothing in this world– universe could tear us apart.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
july. the hot summer days rolled around, and so did he. i think the universe liked to mock me, play tricks or whatever because jeong jaehyun stood before me. in the short span of the months since their breakup he seemed to have changed, his aura seemed different, unrecognizable even.
“i knew i’d find you here,” he spoke. i looked at him with a puzzled expression, “if you came to get back with yuna, she doesn’t want to see you ever again!” a low chuckle emitted from his throat, “funny, i’m actually here for you.”
i was beyond confused, what could he want with little ol’ me? “me? what kind of business do you have with me?!” “if you come with me, i’ll be glad to tell you.”
“if you can’t tell i’m kind of in the middle of work right now,” i said, and i really was. my shift at the cafe was today and i wouldn’t be able to get off until a couple more hours. “then i’ll come back for you. you’re off at 5, right?” I didn’t respond, just signaling him with a nod of my head.
it didn’t take long before he was gone, leaving me so puzzled. why was he showing up now? how did he know i got off at 5? but most importantly, what could he want with me? when yuna and him were together, we weren’t particularly close to the point we could call each other friends, so whatever just happened right now has every right to leave me confused.
he sure is a man true to his word. when i opened the cafe doors, there he was leaning against his car. “get in,” he said. i raised a brow, “are you planning to murder me jeong?” he laughed, “no, why would i?” he walked along to the other side, opening the door for me. i hesitantly got in. once we both were in, he drove to whatever destination he was taking me to. i prayed he really wasn’t going to outright murder me.
the car ride was silent, besides the low music from the radio. r&b, his favorites as yuna used to tell me about. i gazed out the windows, watching the tall buildings and fancy dressed people walk. a couple minutes later we arrived at our destination, an underground parking lot. yep definitely getting murdered.
he opened the door and i stepped out, bracing myself for death. however, instead of that i was met with his hand on my shoulder which caused me to flinch. “relax, i told you i wasn’t going to murder you.” i let out a relieved sigh, “then what are we doing in a sketchy parking lot?” “we’re heading to my apartment,” he said.
“wait, wait, wait! i am not sleeping with you!” he looked at me, laughing a couple moments later “what? no?! i’ll tell you once we’re inside.” he didn’t let me utter another word before he guided me inside an elevator and pressed the button to the last floor.
jeong jaehyun screamed money. the man was rich, his father was the former ceo of a big corporation, to which jaehyun now inherited. it made sense why he lived in such a lavish building and owned such a luxurious car. though behind the facade, the man had his trauma. his mother died in a car accident when he was little, which is why he has no driver as it was his family driver who led his mother to her death. i only know all this information on him because of yuna, when they were together he was all she could talk about nights on end. it was annoying, but people in love are… well crazy in love.
when we finally made it to his floor, we stepped out. i followed behind him as we made it to his front door. he put in his code and let me in. i began taking off my coat and shoes when he spoke. “anything to drink?” he asked. “water is fine,” i replied.
“make yourself at home, the living room is straight ahead. you can wait for me there,” he says. i walked further into his apartment, it was minimalist. the whole space just screamed him, jaehyun. i sat in the –comfortable– black sofa whilst i waited for him. i’d hope this talk wouldn’t take so long. i texted yuna i wouldn’t be back until later today. since their break-up she began living with me.
he walked into the living room with two glasses of water in hand, handing me one. he sat besides me, on my left side. i took a sip of my water, clearing my dry throat. “so? what sort of business do you have to settle with little ol’ me?” i asked.
i turned to face him, his eyes set on me. his expression turned serious, his thoughts unreadable. i suddenly became really nervous, an unsettling feeling in my stomach.
we remained in silence until a beat or two later he finally spoke. his words leaving me all the more speechless that i needed him to repeat what he just said. “what? what did you just say?”
“date me.”
he couldn’t be serious right now. his ex’s best friend? he must have some humorous side to him because what the actual fuck was he saying?
“quite the bullshit jeong,” i slightly raised my voice. i was feeling slightly irritated now because just what in the world is jeong jaehyun thinking?!
he propped his elbow on the side of the sofa, “i’m not joking. date me y/n.”
“how can i-” he interrupted me mid sentence, “i’m kidding well kinda. listen i just need you to pretend you’re my girlfriend.”
pretend to be his girlfriend?! is he in his right mind? “what? why?” i questioned him. no matter how much i tried to make sense of the situation, i just couldn't comprehend it, it was impossible to.
“just one month, that’s all. i just need to prove to my father that i do have someone in my life so he could quit with the whole blind date bs.”
“b-but why choose me?” his intense gaze never faltered, “hmm, i don’t know. i just felt like you were the only woman capable of agreeing to such a thing, and plus you’re the only woman i felt like i was on somewhat good terms with.”
“good terms? may i remind you, you dated and broke my best friend's heart!?” his eyes softened, “look yeah i could’ve guessed you hate me now, but i’m sorry… what happened between me and her was mutual, some things were just never meant to be…”
some things are just never meant to be. i wonder what he means by that. yuna never really gave me the details surrounding their break up, so i suppose all this time i assumed it was because jaehyun had done something. however, the way his face softened at the mention of their relationship made me wonder if they’re was more to the story than yuna had led off.
“of course you don’t have to agree to it if you don’t want to,” he said when he noticed how lost in thought i was. my mind just circulating on him, yuna, and his proposal. would it be a bad idea to accept his offer? i mean i’d just have to put up with him for a month… i even doubt yuna would ever find out.
i brushed off any further thoughts and looked at jaehyun straight in his eyes. my mouth hesitated, was i really making the right choice? “i- i’ll do it. i’ll pose as your girlfriend for one month.” it was strange, after i released those words it felt like something within me ached, regret screaming at me. truly y/n… were you making the right choice…?
i watched as jaehyun’s eyes widened, possibly from not expecting me to accept his proposal. “really? you’ll do it!” his voice sounded a little too excited. i was scared.
“y- yes,” my mouth spoke for itself.
“great! then i’ll sort you out on the details,” jaehyun explained. i followed along as jaehyun explained how this arrangement would go. we’d only meet on days in which we would need to visit his father, we planned out our story on how we’d met and such, and we decided it’d be best to exchange contacts to make things easier.
i stared at my phone, jaehyun, read the screen. i sighed, i really was doing this. “then now that it’s all settled, let me drive you back home,” he announced. in all honesty, i was going to reject his offer, but then i remembered how late in the night it was, and how i don’t feel all too comfortable riding in a taxi this late at night.
so now here i was in his car once more, and it made me realize how many more times in the future i’d be situated in this exact same spot. the car ride was silent, except for the music playing in the background which made up for the utter silence.
when we arrived, i thanked him for the ride. “it was nothing,” he said.  i’ll message you when my father tells me to go visit him again.” “mm, sure thing,” i replied, as i reached for the car handle and opened the door. i took one final glance at jaehyun before exiting his vehicle. through the moonlight i could still see his face light up into a smile, accentuating his dimples.
thump.
that was weird, “see you later then,” i swiftly said as i felt like i needed to get out of this car as soon as possible. with a final goodbye i finally made my way to my apartment. i opened it, noticing the television was on in the living room. yuna must’ve stayed up trying to wait until i’d arrived.
“i’m home!” i slightly yelled. i began making my way to the living room where she was. “what took you so long, you said you’d come back as soon as possible,” she said.
“sorry, it seemed more things needed to be discussed.” i felt outright terrible. lie after lie came out of my mouth when yuna questioned why i was out for so long.
i had to keep the meeting with jaehyun a secret until i die. who knows how yuna might’ve react knowing i, her bestest friend, was out with her ex. not to mention how i’d just agreed to become his fake girlfriend.
i sighed, in which yuna noticed. “are you sure everything is alright?” she asked. i embraced her in my arms, resting my chin on her shoulder. “yes, i assure you nothing bad happened.” i let go of her a second later, “now let’s go rest. i’m sure we’ve both had a long day.” she nodded, taking one last glance at me as i stood watching her walking to her bedroom.
“good night, y/n.”
“good night yuna,” i replied back as i turned my body to walk to my bedroom. i wanted nothing more but to soak myself in a warm bath and recount just what the hell my life was or is going to become. i did just that, spending quite a bit of time in the bath before i headed off to bed. i wrapped myself in my bed sheet, the effects of the bath dawning over me. i felt myself relaxing into a deep slumber. no matter how chaotic today was, i felt most at peace here in my bed.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
since that day i have had yet to receive a message from jaehyun. it felt almost as if that day never had happened, like some part of my imagating– a dream, no a nightmare.
ping.
great. the universe indeed must find enjoyment in mocking me. there it was, a message from jaehyun.
jaehyun: my father asked me to come around tomorrow. could you make it?
y/n: sure thing. what time?
jaehyun: around noon sounds fine?
y/n: okay
jaehyun: great! i’ll tell him you’ll be coming with me.
jaehyun: i’ll come pick you up tomorrow.
y/n: alright, see you tomorrow.
i sighed as i read his last message, see you tomorrow. tomorrow’s the big day. the first day of our whole hoax. i wonder if his father would buy into it considering the fact that me and jaehyun have had very little history together. whatever, i’m sure we’d find our way around it.
i got up from my chair, exiting the employee lounge. my break was almost over so i shut down any further thoughts and focused only on the tasks at hand.
hours later, i readied myself to leave the cafe. i realized it would be rather rude of me to not bring something to give his father so i tried to as quickly as possibly to make it to the shopping center before it closed. I strolled along, hopping from store to store. nothing really was catching my eye, in fact i had no idea what to buy! i felt like it’d be quite troublesome to text jaehyun about it, so i opted out of it and just went with whatever was going to capture my attention.
after a few more rounds, i finally found something. these really eccentric and beautiful shot glasses. i prayed that mr.jeong was a drinker because if not then i’d really would want to jump off the face of the earth.
shot glasses in hand, i made my way to pay for them. i gotta say they were quite the price tag, but that didn’t matter. this was all so i could win the favor of jaehyun’s father tomorrow. really, really prayed he drank.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
d-day. i could barely get a wink of sleep last night. nervousness, a bit of excitement, and worry overcame me last night. would we really be able to pull this off? what if his father disapproved of me? gosh, i really am a worrying mess.
as i got ready, i put on my best outfit. it was one that seemed fit to make a good impression. I opted for a natural make-up look and some loose curls. i checked my phone once again, 11:45 a.m. 15 minutes to spare, i rushed to the kitchen. although i felt too nervous to digest anything right now, i couldn’t go on a completely empty stomach. so i toasted myself some bread and poured myself some orange juice. quite the breakfast i gotta say.
as i finished up i heard as my phone began ringing. must be jaehyun, i thought. i rushed to my bedroom where my phone was placed on my nightstand. surely enough i was right, it was jaehyun calling.
i picked up, “hello?” i spoke. “hey, y/n i’m almost at your place. you ready?” he said in my ear. “y-yeah just waiting for you,” i replied. Is it just me or did that sound slightly weird? whatever it already came out of my mouth. y/n you fool.
“oh, okay then i’ll be there in 5.” “mm, i’ll start going down then,” i said and later bid him a goodbye although i’d see his face in a couple minutes. i rushed inside my closet, opting to pick out the most suitable looking purse. with purse and gift in hand i swiftly exited my apartment.
i stood up straight, trying to give myself boosting affirmations, and eliminating any worrisome or negative thoughts from my head. as i headed outside my apartment complex, there he was. he must’ve barely arrived as he was just getting out his car, until he spotted me. he waved me down.
i walked a little faster, stopping when we stood measly inches apart. “well, you look beautiful,” he says. i tried my hardest not thinking anything of his little compliment. “thanks… i suppose,” i responded earning me a slight chuckle from jaehyun. “ready to go?” jaehyun asks, and before i could respond he guides me to the passenger side of his car.
he opened the door for me in which i then sat down in the passenger seat. he then closes the door, walking over to the drivers side.
i expected for the car ride to be silent, but i then got the urge to bombard jaehyun with questions. “what kind of person is your father?” i asked first. i looked over at him noticing how he seemed to be deep in thought. “hmm, i suppose he isn’t some ruthless man you should worry about. trust me y/n he’ll like you, he is rather… weak.”
weak? mr.jeong? the man who built an empire. it seemed hard to believe, so i'll just have to see it with my own two eyes once we meet. the ride continued with me asking more questions in which jaehyun delightedly answered back to.
time seemed to have flowed quickly as we now made our way inside the gate surrounding the jeong residence. my nervousness was starting to kick in again. i began taking deep breaths, in and out, in and out, in and- “ready?” jaehyun spoke, startling me. i glanced up to where he now was, waiting for me to exit the car. it was all going too quick!
i waited for jaehyun, but when he took a little too long i looked at him. he looked pensive like he was in some very serious thinking. “something wrong?” i asked. he looked at me, eye-to-eye. “is it okay with you if we hold hands… you know to make it seem like we really are a couple.”
ah, right we’re supposed to pose as a couple right now. he had a point so i took his hand. i felt as he tensed up before seemingly relaxing down a bit after. “here we go,” he says as he rang the doorbell. i inhaled one last time, bracing myself for what's to come.
the door swung open a minute later, where we were both greeted by an older, yet young looking lady. “jaehyun!” she exclaimed. “Hello, ms.kim!” he replied back. they briefly hugged before he turned to me, “y/n this is ms.kim. she works for my father and was my nanny back when i was a child,” he explained. “ah, and ms.kim this is y/n my girlfriend,” jaehyun said as he turned back to speak to ms.kim.
“y/n! darling, wow you’re gorgeous! jaehyun sure hit the jackpot with you,” she teased, smiling brightly. i had to admit, i quite embarrassed. “no, no, no i’m sure i’m the lucky one here,” i smiled before continuing, “it’s a pleasure to meet you ms.kim!” instead of reaching out for my hand, she warmly embraced me in her arms. when we parted she spoke again, “ah, come in, come in!”
we walked inside the big home, my eyes soaking in every detail. “where’s my father?” jaehyun asked. “hmm, that old man? he’s probably in his office, i’ll go get him,” she says, but before departing she tells us– well i, “make yourself at home.”
when we were finally alone, i exhaled again. “she’s sweet, i like her,” i whispered, fearing they could hear me from where they were. “i’m glad she seems to like you already, she’s not quite the most accepting person.”
“by the way, i’ve been meaning to ask. what’s in that bag?” jaehyun asked me as he looked down to the gift bag i held in my hand. “ah, a gift for your father.” “a gift? you didn’t have to go out of your way to do all that,” he said. “i know, but i would’ve felt rather rude if i didn’t get him anything. speaking of which please tell me he drinks,” i said.
“i quite very much enjoy drinking,” a voice spoke. my head whipped back, my eyes coming in contact with a man who quite just looked like jaehyun but in an older version. they looked like copies of one another.
“ah, it’s nice to meet you mr.jeong, my name is y/l/n,” i said as i bowed. my hands clenched around the gift bag just a bit tighter. “oh dear, no need to do all that y/n!” he said. i raised myself, gathering the courage to walk towards the man.
“then i hope you can accept my gift… though it’s nothing too grand, i hope you could still enjoy it sir,” i spoke nervously as i handed him the gift bag. he took it, giving me smile just like jaehyun’s. “oh gosh, you didn’t have to. jaehyun! why didn’t you stop her,” he said, giving his son a stern look.
jaehyun just gives him a shrug of his shoulders. “thank you very much anyway dear. i’ll be sure to open it later, for now let’s have some lunch.” as we headed to the dinning table, i felt jaehyun’s hand in the lower part of my back. he leans down, “good job” he whispered into my ear. his hot voice, practically causing me to almost melt away. i glanced up at him, his eyes catching mine and that’s when he smiled fondly at me, in which i later returned as well.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
lunch was more than great. the food was quite possibly the most delicious food i’ve had in a while. mr.jeong throughout the whole lunch would just go on and on talking about jaehyun’s life, his business, and other random subjects.
“jaehyun, be a dear and go with ms.kim to pick up the desserts,” his father spoke. oh, oh. this could translate to: leave, i wanna talk to y/n alone. fuck, fuck, fuck. i was getting even more nervous than i originally was.
jaehyun sighed, “alright,” he said. he got up, walking over to where i sat across from him and leaned down, “you’ll do great. i’ll try and be quick” he whispered into my ear. what i didn’t expect was after he said that he pecked my cheek. i just lowly said, “okay.”
“don’t be too harsh on her dad,” jaehyun said before leaving. jaehyun was gone before his father could say anything back, it was just the two of us for god knows how long. i’d had hoped it wouldn’t go past 15 minutes.
“don’t be too nervous, i’m not here to tear you apart,” his father spoke when he noticed how tensed up i’d gotten. i tried relaxing a bit, reassuring myself in my head that it’d be alright.
“i do gotta admit, when jaehyun first told me about you i was shocked. my son who would rather die than date a woman, telling me he has a girlfriend almost made me believe if i had made it to heaven,” he said, seemingly joking. i giggled a bit. “however, seeing you here today and the way he is around you i can tell he seems serious about this.”
serious my ass, i thought. it was all an act, god the oscar’s should give jaehyun an award for his stellar performance at fooling his father. “y-yeah,” i began saying. “when jaehyun first approached me, asking to take me out on a date, i was surprised as well. i mean little ol’ me with a man out of my reach… i have to admit i thought it was a foolish prank but then i realized how genuine he was. you raised him to be an amazing and loving man, mr.jeong.”
his face softened, “no, no i don’t deserve the credit, his mother does. he told you didn’t he, about his mother?” i nodded, even though it was technically yuna who had told me. “well, since my wife’s death my– no our lives have not been the same. everyday i lived in regret and sorrow, but then i remembered i had to keep going, not necessarily for me but for my son. his mother taught him everything she could’ve possibly taught him while she was still alive and for that i am forever grateful for.”
hearing him talk made my heart ache. i realized in that moment just how much not only jaehyun must’ve gone through but his dad as well. losing someone is not easy, getting over them is in fact far from it. “i’m sure she must be proud of the person jaehyun has become today,” i said. he smiled, “yeah, i’m sure she is. i guarantee you she would’ve adored you as well.” my heart broke all the more, even if this was a fake relationship those words still hit me.
i smiled weakly, lips twitching as i felt my eyes blurr. i blinked and there they were, tears streaming down my face. “oh dear, i didn’t mean to make you cry,” mr.jeong said, handing me a napkin. i wiped those darn tears away and later continued my conversation with his father.
contrary to my expectations, mr.jeong truly was a kind soul, weak to his family. i could also safely say that by the end of our conversation he seemed to like and approve of me. mission accomplished, i suppose.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
jaehyun and ms.kim arrived well past 15 minutes, but that didn’t matter because the conversation between mr.jeong and i was a great one. “he didn’t tell you anything bad right?” jaehyun spoke as he ate a piece of his dessert. i glanced over at his father giggling, “hmm just how you got stuck in the snow one time and cried out because they took forever to take you out.” jaehyun groaned, “dad!”
mr.jeong crossed his arms, smiling. “what can i say, you were quite a cute child back then.” i laughed, and enjoyed the company. i could get used to this… but right, this would only last a month. i tried shoving such thoughts from my head, deciding on focusing on the present.
we stayed for a while longer, deciding to leave once the sun was starting to set. i bid ms.kim a farewell before doing the same to mr.jeong. “come back again soon dear, with or without him,” mr.jeong said. i smiled, “will do!”
and so after having said our farewells, me and jaehyun headed off. i would say me and him we’re making progress as the car ride back was filled with lots of chatter. the poor guy investigating me on what stories his father had told me about him.
“well, i’m glad he likes you,” jaehyun said, “yeah, guess we really pulled this off,” i replied.
“mmm, he seems relieved that i finally have someone in my life now,” he continued. however, i didn’t respond back. i was too busy probing on the thought of how it seemed like jaehyun never told his father about yuna. i was too scared to bring up the subject, remembering how jaehyun became when her name was ever mentioned, so i left it at that: an insignificant thought.
the car ride back to my apartment continued with chatter. when we had arrived, i lingered in his car for a while. “so, i’ll see you next time?”
we both looked at one another. jaehyun’s mouth fell open, then closing. he didn’t respond, just giving me a simple nod of his head.
“then, drive home safely. bye jaehyun,” i said, opening up the passenger door. before i closed it jaehyun spoke, “sleep well y/n.” my face flushed, “mmm, you too” i said before closing the door. i gripped my bag, walking into my apartment complex as quickly as possible. god, what is wrong with you?!
as i opened the apartment door, i noticed the television playing. “ah, welcome home y/n!” yuna said cheerfully. she stopped for a brief moment, observing me. “hmm, what’s this our little y/n out on a date?!” she teased.
what do i say? yes, no? i mean it’d be fine as long as i didn’t tell her the name right?
“y-yeah,” i said, rather shyly. her eyes widened, squealing “who is it! someone i know!?” she bombarded me with questions. “n-no! he’s just some guy i’m getting to know,” i said. i can’t believe i’m lying to my best friend right now, but then again it’s not like i can tell her: “hey! i’m going out with your ex boyfriend!”
“well if you ever decided to make it official, introduce me to the guy! he’s gotta need my approval after all,” she said smiling. yuna was always the opposite of me, she shined bright everywhere she went. it was no shocker how she managed to get someone like jaehyun to fall head over heels for her.
i laughed at her declaration, “sure thing.” we stayed up for a while longer before we both headed off to bed. today was surely a long day, going surprisingly better than i had anticipated. it all led me to ponder how things would go in the future. it made me both nervous and excited for what was to come.
however only later would i realize how i crossed the line. it would be far too late to go back.

weeks passed, days flowed by and life was surprisingly better than ever. since my first meeting with jaehyun’s father, i’d visited him a few more times and now july was just about over. today, i got ready to go see jaehyun’s father again. though, jaehyun described it as a quick visit. nonetheless, i rushed to get ready since he would be here in around 15 minutes.
i made my way to the front of my apartment complex where he was waiting. it was always the same routine every single time. part of me was growing accustomed to this, but i constantly reminded myself of the month period which for a fact was close to coming to an end.
i hated to admit it but i didn’t want this to end, but i couldn’t bring myself to tell jaehyun about this secret of mine. hating to admit i blushed everytime he showered me with the littest bit of –fake– affection, that effect he was just having on me. i hated to admit just how much i’d grown to like him…
“everything alright?” he questions me. i snapped out of my thoughts, my face facing his as he held the steering wheel. “y-yeah just didn’t get enough sleep,” i lied.
“sorry to drag you out like this, but i know how much my dad would’ve bugged me if i didn’t bring you along,” he chuckled, which caused me to smile. yup, i’m completely fucked.
when we arrived at mr.jeong’s residence we were greeted by ms.kim who informed us mr.jeong had some friends over. moments later, he walked in with said friends and introduced me to each one of them. his use of the word, “daughter-in-law” not going unheard by me. jaehyun must’ve heard it too.
i was too focused on the conversation between the men that i failed to notice when jaehyun leaned down into my ear whispering, “i didn’t know they’d be here, i swear. the old man told me he had something to tell me but in reality i thought he’d just found some excuse to bring you along.” i turned to him, our faces only centimeters apart, my eyes widened.
“i-i, it’s alright,” i whispered. jaehyun closed the small distance between us until i could feel his breath on my face and the light touch of his lips on mine.
“oh young people,” mr.jeong said.
shit, i was too caught up in the moment i had forgotten they were right in front of us. my face felt hot, my whole body did. just a single move and our lips would’ve met each other. “if you don’t mind, can you excuse us,” jaehyun spoke up as he got up. his hand, taking mine to guide me up.
“sure, sure. enjoy yourselves,” his father said. god, this was so embarrassing. before leaving, we said our goodbyes and headed back to his car. in the car it was silent, the air felt different; i couldn’t speak.
i opted to look outside through the window, but the unfamiliar landscape drove me to finally speak. “th-this isn’t the way to my apartment…”
a beat later he answered, “i know we’re heading somewhere first.” i wondered where that could’ve been, but i didn’t get to wonder for long as i soon recognized we were heading to his apartment instead. i wonder what he could’ve wanted.
once i was back into the familiar, yet unfamiliar apartment, we sat on his sofa. there was silence for a while, before he made the first move. “what would you say if we extend our agreement?” he asked, but his eyes didn’t meet mine.
“wh-what…” i said. i was confused what he meant by this, i mean i could interpret this a hundred ways. he scratches the back of his neck, “fuck. that’s not, well i do mean.. mm,” jaehyun said, he seemed at a loss of words.
there was a brief moment of silence again, before he spoke up again. “date me. no agreement, contract, anything of the sort.”
no fucking way! “huh? you want us to date for real, but-” he interrupted me before i could finish. “before you say anything more, i want you to know that in all honesty i don’t want this to end. i’ve enjoyed every moment we’ve spent together, your smile, laugh, and that bright light you radiate. i like every part of you y/n… i like you.”
my eyes widened. no way, this was a confession... jaehyun was confessing to me. did i feel him the same way he felt? were these feelings of mine more affection than friendship? who am i kidding, they were. the truth in fact was that i liked jaehyun romantically, i couldn’t deny it any longer.
“i-i like you too…”
i watched as his face softened, his dimpled smile making it’s appearance. his smile was the most precious and beautiful i’d ever seen. one of his hands made their way to my cheek, caressing it. his body inched closer, until there was only a small distance between us.
“can i?” he whispered. i nodded, shyly closing my eyes. i felt as his lips touched mine. they molded perfectly into mine, felt soft too. it was a gentle kiss, but it quickly became something i enjoyed with all my heart.
i parted away first, trying to catch my breath but i was already starting to miss the feeling of his lips on mine. so i leaned back into him, our kiss deepening more this time around. his tongue intruded inside my mouth, colliding with mine. he then bit into my bottom lip, but quickly kissed on it. jaehyun places his hands on each side of my hips, guiding me to straddle his lap without breaking the kiss.
we continued devouring one another, enjoying what the other had to offer. things only escalated further when his hands began traveling along my body. his fingertips left a trailing blaze of heat throughout me. my hips then began moving on their own, my lower area in the need of some friction. i felt his cock hardened as i continued grinding on him. his hands now on my hips, gradually helping me pick up the pace.
his lips letting go of mine just to say, “hold on.” in which i followed, wrapping my arms around his neck as he gets up, walking to what i then knew was his bedroom. jaehyun gently lays me on his bed, my eyes on him as he lifts his shirt, taking it off and tossing it somewhere in his spacious room. his eyes then meeting mine, causing a smirk to form on his face. “like what you see?” he teases. i felt my face heat up. “don’t you think it’s a bit unfair for me to be the only one without a shirt?” he continued saying.
i lift myself up from his bed, hands grabbing the hem of my shirt, getting it over my head and onto the floor. i noticed as jaehyun’s eyes never left mine, soaking me all in. i felt quite shy so i covered my breasts with my arms. jaehyun got closer, “don’t be shy now baby, you're beautiful.”
baby. beautiful. god, his sweet words were so beautiful. i once again did as he said, putting my arms down to my sides. he closed the distance between us, colliding his lips onto mine in a deep and passionate kiss. all the while his hands began working with the hook of my bra until it came off me. he parts, bringing his lips to kiss all over me from my cheek to collarbone. when he brought his lips to my neck however, i felt as he sucked harshly onto my skin, causing me to wince. he parts, muttering a “sorry” against my neck.
jaehyun was marking me up, claiming what was his.
traveling further down, he stops at my breasts. i felt as his lips kissed the valley of my breast before going onto one. he stuck his tongue out, brushing against my nipple. he licked the bud until it hardened, and then went over to my other neglected breasts to do the same. this however didn’t satisfy him, so he began marking me up again, adding biting my tits into the mix. the attention and pleasure he was giving my tits was more than enough to make me a whining and needy mess. i was sure if he were to take off my skirt right now, my thighs would be dripping.
it was as if he was reading my mind because one of his hands began traveling inside my skirt until it cupped my sex. i moaned into the spacious room. “this wet already?” he muttered against my breast, letting his mouth room further down my body until it reached my belly. for a brief moment his hand comes back up from my skirt, using both his hands now to take off my skirt. while he tossed the skirt somewhere around the room, i began taking off my white laced panties. his eyes glued to me, it was like we were the only two people in this world.
with my panties off, i felt as the cool air hit my warm sex. jaehyun pried my legs open, using two of his fingers, to slide along my cunt. he gathered some of my juices onto his fingers only to bring them to his mouth and lick it up. “mm, so sweet. might get addicted, baby,” he says sweetly. he then brings his fingers back onto my cunt, teasing me. “p-please,” i whined.
“hmm? please what baby?” he says, staring at my desperate state. “to-touch me… your fingers, in me please,” i begged with the man above. jaehyun had you wrapped around his finger, practically putty in his hands.
jaehyun simply smiles before intruding his fingers into your hole. he feels as your gummy walls clenched around his fingers, squeezing him so tight. his eyes blessed with the sight of you trying to grind against his hand as you arch that pretty back off his bed. your beautiful singing of his name and moans we’re blessing his ears. so, so beautiful– he thought.
his fingers plunged in and out of you at a fast pace, you felt yourself nearing the end. the knot in your stomach threatening to unleash at any moment, just a little more, a little…
“don’t worry baby, go on cum… i got you,” jaehyun groaned. it was then when he brought his thumb into the mix, using the digit to rub your clit so deliciously. you grip the bed sheet, eyes rolling back until you saw white. your orgasm came crashing out, better than any previous orgasms you’ve or other guys have given you.
i panted, trying to catch my breath from that mind-blowing orgasm. my eyes returned to focus back to jaehyun as he licked his hands clean. when he finished he opened the drawer on his nightstand, fishing out a condom. unzipping his pants, he pulls them down along with his boxers until his cock sprung out. the poor thing looked hard as a rock, his tip red and leaking with pre-cum. my mouth nearly drooled at the sight, i wanted it in my mouth, a taste of it. “next time baby, right now i really wanna be in you,” he says, when he notices how focused i was on his cock.
he opens the condom, then sliding it onto his cock. “can you go lay over there baby,” he says, pointing in the direction of where his pillows were. i quickly made my way over there, laying back on my back. the mattress dipped when jaehyun got on, and he stopped in front of me. one of his hands wrapped around his cock. “open up for me baby,” he says in a low voice. opening my legs for him, he shuffled a bit further. his cock reached my pussy, where he used my wetness on the condom.
“ready?” he says, eyes staring straight at mine. i nodded my head, yes. all the confirmation jaehyun needed to start pushing his cock inside you. he was unlike any guy you’ve had before. the delicious stretch of his cock has you a moaning mess, arms wrapping around his neck to pull him deeper. the tight squeezing of your pussy around his cock doesn’t go unnoticed by him as it has him groaning and moaning into your ear.
“you feel so good, baby. so perfect. it’s as if you were made for me, this pussy was made for me,” he whispered into my ear. his words ignited me even more, my pussy clenching around him all the more. when all of him was in me, he lifted his body up and grabbed my thighs on both his hands. “don’t squeeze me too tight now or i won’t last long,” he says before sliding his cock out, leaving his tip inside.
gripping me tighter, he pounded his cock back inside me. thrusting ruthlessly and hard, i could feel as he reached deep inside me– his tip kissing my cervix beautifully. the pace didn’t falter even after what felt like 10 minutes. i moaned and chanted his name like it was the only word in my vocabulary. drool escaping my mouth and eyes watering with tears, was the state i was in. “who’s making you feel so good baby?” he says slightly panting.
when i didn’t answer, jaehyun lifted one of my legs higher. in this position, his cock pierced inside me even deeper than before. i could practically feel his nestled in my womb. “mmm~ ahh, uhh fuck. y-you! you! only you are jae!” i moaned loudly.
satisfied with your response, jaehyun decides to give you a reward. he places his thumb back onto your swollen clit, abusing the poor thing. with every pinch and rub to your clit you were growing closer. however, you felt strange. as you tried voicing your concern, jaehyun shushes you with his mouth on yours.
by this time it was too late, you came gushing out like a waterfall. he parts from the kiss, saliva connecting the two of you. he looks down to where you both were conjoined, “let me guess, that was your first time squirting?” you nodded dumbly, too fucked out of your mind. “wow, i’m honored baby,” he says as he continues fucking me through my orgasm. through my hazy state i noticed as his pace began to falter, slowing down a bit.
his cock twitched inside me, allowing himself to thrust a couple more times before he came into the condom. the air of his room smelled like sex, evidence of what had just transpired. he pulls out, taking off the condom as he walks over to dispose of it. “that was amazing baby,” he says, going back to lay beside me.
his arms wrap around my body, embracing me as we laid there. “i’ll clean you up in a bit, let us just enjoy this for now,” he says. before i knew it my eyes fluttered shut. i passed out for the night, too exhausted to stay awake for even a second more.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
i stirred my eyes open, coming face to face with the bright summer sun. i got up, taking my surroundings in. an unfamiliar bedroom… no wait, this is jaehyun’s bedroom. in that moment, the flashbacks of what happened last night replayed in my head. i turned to the other side of the bed, noticing it empty, but the scrambled bed sheets signified he was in fact there. i looked down to notice myself in a shirt that wasn’t mine, jaehyun’s.
fuck. wait… why did it dawn to me now that i literally agreed into becoming jaehyun’s –real– girlfriend. yuna... isn’t this betrayal? did i cross the line? i couldn’t ponder for too long before the bedroom door flung open.
jaehyun.
he wore gray sweats and a white t-shirt. “drooling already?” he teased coming to my side. i got up, sitting on the edge as i wiped my lips and felt as something wet touched the back of my hand. fuck i really was drooling. he laughed, going onto his knees, laying his head on my thighs. i combed a hand through his hair, “you’re quite the beast jaehyun.” he glances up, “what are you trying to say?” he says raising a brow.
“you know exactly what i mean!” slightly raising my voice. he still acted like he had no idea what i was referring to. “ughh, thanks to you i could barely walk,” i said shyly. it was true though, getting up from the bed, i could feel the ache.
he chuckled, “but you enjoyed it didn’t you?” i squinted my eyes, “we-well yes, but that’s besides the point! anyways did you clean me?” he nods his head, “yup, but you were sleeping so soundly i didn’t wanna wake you up, you’re quite the heavy sleeper babe.”
my heart nearly melted, “thanks jaehyun.” he smiled, a mischievous one in which i knew meant no good. “how about giving me a reward?” he asks sweetly. no matter how much i tried resisting i ended up giving in.
“i-thought this was a reward for you?” i tried saying as the sensation of his tongue running along my cunt cleared all normal functions from my brain. “it is,” he says as he raises his head to look into my lustful eyes. “your sweet pussy is such a delicacy for me. plus i haven’t had any breakfast yet,” he continues saying, giving me a wink at the end as he dove back in.
last night was not enough for jaehyun it seems so because you two were going right back at it throughout the morning. i mean not that you were complaining...
Tumblr media
february 13th. the day before jaehyun’s birthday and also we can’t forget valentine’s day.
it has now been well over 6 months since me and jaehyun had begun dating and all of it has been a bliss. jaehyun truly was the best boyfriend i could ever ask for. everything seemed right, but then i spiraled into a panic. it wasn’t often but occasionally guilt would eat me away, my consciousness yelling at me. however it was too late to turn back now, not unless a time machine magically appeared. yet again, i didn’t regret a single thing… was it bad that i didn’t?
but i see her, yuna, in the back of my mind. all the time, like a fever. did i cross the line?
and i then realized that it wasn’t reassurance that i needed from jaehyun, it felt like something more, something i so desperately was trying to search for…
nonetheless today is his pre-birthday dinner! i can’t be moping around in depressing thoughts! quickly getting outta bed, i began getting myself ready. unlike other days, today i went for a cute some-what skin tight dress, heels, loose curled hair, and a tad bit more make-up. before making my way downstairs to meet up with jaehyun, i grabbed a small gift bag and tucked it inside my purse.
as i made my way down, i saw his car come rolling in. a smile making its way on my face as he gets out of the car to greet me. “you’re quite breathtaking,” he says as he pecked me on my lips. i let out a dreamy sigh, “and you’re quite the charmer.” he smiled, taking my hand to guide me to the passenger seat of his car. after shutting the door, he walks over to his door and begins the drive.
unfortunately, he knew about his pre-birthday dinner, only because i am not the world’s best driver so i can’t be the one to drive us there. i planned for it to be a small dinner at an italian restaurant we both enjoyed. however, what he was unaware of was about how i called the restaurant a couple days ago to inform them if they could bring out a cake. so technically i’m still seeing this as a whole surprise!
when we finally arrived at the restaurant, he took my hand in his to walk me. luckily for those reservations we made because if not we would’ve waited hours just to get a table. when we got situated at our table, a waiter came by not too later to take our orders. once we got our food, we ate while chatting about anything and everything. we enjoyed each other’s presence as we ate on a cool february night.
a while later i excused myself, under the circumstances that i had to use the restroom. yet in reality i was going to go inform the waiter to bring out the cake. i returned to my seat afterwards and waited for them to arrive.
“happy, happy birthday! happy birthday! happy birthday to you!” the waiters around us sang as they clapped their hands. i recorded the scene as jaehyun look bewildered, his cheeks adorning a pink-ish color. cute, i thought. one of the waiter places the cake on the table, and after they finished singing jaehyun blew the candle. the waiters later dispersed, leaving me and jaehyun alone.
“so this is why you wanted to come here?” he questioned. i smirked, “yup, yup and they so kindly agreed to it!” he sighed before giving me a slice of his cake. we continued chatted whilst we ate the very delicious cake. whereas i note jaehyun’s eyes never leaving me, watching me intently as i licked the icing off my fork.
jaehyun clears his throat, catching my attention, “w-we should get going soon.” i raised my brow, “huh, but-” he interrupted me before i could continue, “i have a better idea.”
“oh yeah, and what could that be?” i questioned him. “you’ll see. follow me,” he says, getting up and taking me by my wrist. we quickly stop by to pay before we leave. jaehyun’s pace slightly rushed.
when we arrived at the parking garage, he pinned me to the passenger door. not even a second later does he take my lips on his. he kisses me with such passion, lust, and hunger— even if he had just eaten. i was a bit bewildered at first but i soon sink into the kiss, my arms wrapping around his neck.
his knee comes in between my legs, as his hands began to roam my body. a hand slips under my dress, causing me to moan into the kiss when i feel his hand travel further up only stopping to rub two of his fingers against my pussy.
i pant as i part from the kiss, “s-stop, not here jae.” i felt hazy already, and as i looked at him i noticed those lustful eyes of his. “get in then, we’ll continue this somewhere else,” he mutters into my ear before pecking my temple. we rushed inside the car, leaving the parking lot as he drove us quickly to the nearest hotel.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
we just barely made it inside the door when jaehyun’s desperate hands began removing the dress i wore, later pooling at the bottom of my feet. “fuck, when i saw you in that dress i wanted nothing more but to rip it off you and fuck you,” he mumbles into my ear as his hand begin to remove my panties. “no bra too? fuck, you’re going to be the death of me baby,” he groaned.
being completely naked with the cool door pressed against my back, jaehyun soaks me all in before using his fingers to rub against my cunt again. “this wet already? all for me, is that right?” he continues teasing. i let out a small whimper before muttering “yes.”
jaehyun quickly takes his hand away from my aching pussy, licking his fingers clean. he moans in satisfaction as he tastes my juices. using both his hands, he quickly begins removing his clothes, his hard cock resting against his stomach. he watches as i stare intently, bringing one hand to his cock he begins jerking it. fuck, now this is going to kill me.
“Get on your knees baby,” he says. i sank into my knees in no time, face only about an inch away from his leaking cock. “open,” he continues as he grabs the back of my head to inch me closer to his cock. my mouth falls open, making on “o” shape. “good girl,” he groans when his tip intrudes inside my mouth.
he slowly moved his cock furthur inside my mouth, but when i begin to slightly gag he stopped. “you can take it, ain’t you’re first time baby,” he says and he has a point, though it was just too big i could never seem to fit it without gagging, drooling, or tearing up. he begins moving his cock again, and i finally feel the tip reach down my throat, so deep. “that’s right, shoved down deep in ya,” he groans. he stays snugged in my mouth for a moment before telling me, “now your turn, suck me off baby.”
i place my hands against his thighs to move my head back, until only his tip was inside. i use my tongue to swirl around his tip, my hands soon helping in jerking the rest of his cock. i hear the way jaehyun’s moans and groans filled the room, my ears blessed.
i let go of his tip, bringing my tongue to lick him along his cock and pecking his tip. i repeated this on the other side, glancing up to look at jaehyun’s state. he was an absolute wreck already.
“come on baby, i told ya to suck it,” he groans. so i stop licking his cock, sinking his cock slowly into my mouth. “th-that’s it, your mouth feels so fucking good. cock fits all snug, ain’t that right baby.”
jaehyun’s words ignited a fire within me. i eagerly began sucking his cock, bobbing my head while he held me. while i was doing my ministrations on his cock, i felt my breathing getting constricted so i stopped. i kept the head in my mouth still, using my tongue to swirl around it.
once i felt well again, i took him back in. my hands traveled to his balls, fondling them as i continued sucking on him at a slightly faster pace. the noises he emitted signaled he was close to releasing. so in a despair, jaehyun’s hips began moving. he fucked his cock inside my mouth ruthlessly as i gagged and tears rolled down my face. yet still it felt so good; i didn’t stop the swirling of my tongue on his cock nor the fondeling on his balls.
“so close baby, just a bit more,” he moans. a couple more thrusting of his hips into my mouth, he releases inside it. the taste of his cum courses throughout me. he pulls his cock out, using his fingers to shove back any of his cum that had escaped. i swallowed all that he gave me, opening my mouth to show there was no more.
“get up and bend over,” his deep voice says. i do as he says once more, placing my hands on the door whilst my ass comes into his view. i hear him emit a pleased moan before groping my ass. “so beautiful,” he mutters.
you feel as he slides his cock in between ur ass, rubbing it against you. almost naturally you begin to move, you wanted nothing more but for him to fuck you. a low laugh comes out of his mouth before he slaps your ass. you couldn’t help but yelp in surprise. the coolness of the door, brushing against your already hardened nipples.
you feel as he slides his cock in between ur ass, rubbing it against you. almost naturally you begin to move, you wanted nothing more but for him to fuck you. a low laugh comes out of his mouth before he slaps your ass. you couldn’t help but yelp in surprise. the coolness of the door, brushing against your already hardened nipples.
it wasn’t long though before he slid himself inside you. his cock enters you almost smoothly. “so wet, it slid right in,” he chuckles, fingers digging into your ass.
he stays pressed against you for a while before he pulls back, cock sliding out too. jaehyun slides back in, those gummy walls of yours still tightening around his cock. he fucks you ruthlessly and brutally, not caring how loud you were because after all the noises coming out of you were a symphony.
his pace doesn’t falter, keeping it past 100. the sweet chants of his name, pushing himself forward. he slaps your ass more than once when he notices how you’d tighten around him even more. “i-i’m gonna cu-“ he interrupts you. jaehyun uses his hand to turn your head around, locking his lips onto yours. the two of you hungrily kissed one another, so lost in it that you failed to notice when his hand traveled down.
you moan into the kiss when you feel his digits, working on your clit. pinching and rubbing you so good that you felt your stomach tighten. letting go of his lips, saliva connecting you moan out loud when you feel your orgasm unleashing. you faintly hear the sound of it splashing onto the floor, making a mess. “good girl,” he praises you as he continues fucking into you.
your orgasm only made you tighten around him all the more, scrambling with jaehyun’s brain. he was getting close and you could feel it in the change in pace. his cock twitches inside you and he slaps your ass roughly one last time before you gush inside you. his hot white seeds painting your womb, stuffing you full.
jaehyun pulls out hesitantly, his eyes feasting upon your fucked state. his seeds slowly spilling down your legs. “not yet,” he mumbles before he effortlessly carries you to the bed.
he didn’t let you rest the whole night, continuing to spill deep inside you in the bed, against the wall, and in the bathroom where you two were supposed to “shower.” and well while he took you in the shower, it’d occur to you something important…
“happy birthday love,” you say as you kiss his lips. ah right, jaehyun remembers too that it was his birthday now. he smiles into the kiss, feeling your love. a long fucking later, the two of you collapse on the bed, both so utterly exhausted from the night’s activities. the last thing you remember was when he engulfs you into him, pecking your head as your eyes flutter shut.
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
the sun shines through the curtains, stirring your eyes open. you grumble as you turn to the other side of the bed, prying jaehyun’s hands off of you. you get up to use the restroom as you had the urge to pee.
once you finish your business, you go over to the sink to wash your hands, looking in the mirror. the hickies and love bites all over your body capturing your attention. that dumbass, you thought.
making your way out the bathroom, you notice jaehyun sitting on the edge of the bed. “awake already?” he asks. i smile, “i should be asking you that birthday boy.”
“come here,” he says. “i’m not gonna suck you off again,” i replied. his face saddened, “why not?” “i know you’re just teasing me,” i said. he chuckled before signaling me over. i go over to him, sitting beside him. “how’d you sleep,” he asks, resting his head on my shoulder. “like a baby,” i reply. “how about you?” he pondered for a moment, “the best i’ve ever slept in my whole life,” he answered. i giggled at his response. we stayed like that for a while, his head resting on my shoulder and mine on top of his, in silence before he looked up to kiss my lips. the kiss was gentle and full of love.
he pulls away, “i love you.” i smile at him— i know that you love me, you don’t need to remind me. “i love you too jae.”
soon after, jaehyun gets up saying he needs to use the restroom. i’m left alone in the room, lost in my own thoughts until i hear a phone ping. i turn to the nightstand beside the bed. jaehyun’s phone is the only one there. i inch closer to grab his phone as curiosity took over me.
phone in hand i press on the screen, a message displayed on his home screen. an unsettling feeling set in my stomach, nauseating even. my fingers moved on their own, inputting his pass code. then my fingers tap on the message’s app.
i froze. my heart stopped beating. the feeling of wanting to throw up arising in my throat. this couldn’t be, no what?
yuna…
what was her contact doing in his phone. it didn’t make any sense.
the message he received from her was simple: “happy birthday.” however there were 10+ messages left unopened. once again my finger moved on their own, opening their chat.
my eyes watered until eventually tears came spilling out of my eyes. i couldn’t believe what i was seeing. messages yuna sent over the course of our relationship. from “i miss you” to “i’m lonely, miss you fucking me.” and probably the worst of it,  images of her bare and open displayed. i was beyond sick to my stomach.
however, that wasn’t even the bad part. as i scroll further up i found messages in which he had responded to. their conversations disgusted me, how could he do this while we dated? while he whispered to me he loved me? had it all really been nothing but a lie, a play?
“hey baby, how about we- shit!” jaehyun says coming out of the bathroom. he notices your sobbing state, his phone in your hands. he rushes over to you, “wh-what happened baby?” he asks. though as he reaches over to try and wipe the tears off your face, you swat his hand away. he widened his eyes in surprise, you’d never done this before.
you shove the phone to his chest, in which he takes it into his hands. all color drained from his face when he saw what it was that made you like this. “look y/n i can explain,” he starts off but you stop him. “explain what?! how since the start you’ve been cheating on me!?” i replied back in a harsh tone. i begin to get up from the bed, roaming the hotel room in search of my clothes. “j-just please, baby hear me out,” he continued.
“fine, i’ll hear you out,” i said, picking up my clothes. jaehyun begins, “i-i well fuck, where do i even begin,” he groaned, palming his face. you made a sour look, it’s so bad he doesn’t even know where to start, you think as you pull your dress over your body.
“you know when i first approached you asking to fill in as my fake girlfriend?” he starts, but when you don’t respond he continues. “you told me that day that if it was a ploy to get back with her, you wouldn’t do it…” again, he is met by your silence. “well, in truth y/n that was all there was to it. my father didn’t really care if i had someone in my life or not, i.. i just selfishly wanted her back. at the time however i knew she wanted nothing to do with me, so then popped the idea of using you as a means to get back with her.”
“you’re disgusting,” i say, crying all over again. his face showcasing hurt. how could he be the one hurt in this situation, you thought.
“you’re not wrong about that,” he says. “so then when did it start?” i questioned. “the day after we met my father,” he confessed. “that following day i went over to your apartment complex, waiting until she appeared. and well when she did, i confronted her. that day i pleaded with her, and so we spent the entire day together. we managed to clear our misunderstandings, and well we ended up.. in my bed,” jaehyun continued, hesitating to say the last words.
his bed? the very first place we spent passionately together… i couldn’t comprehend it, my heart ached so much it started going numb.
“after that night, we actually never saw each other again. instead we resorted to calling and eventually just texting. it went on for a while actually, in fact a couple months after we actually started dating…” every word coming out of his mouth was another stab to me, hurting me the more he continued. “however… the more time i spent with you, knowing you all the more i began realizing how i’d fallen in love with you,” he confesses. “bullshit,” i blurted out.
“it’s not… please believe me y/n,” he pleads with me. “how could i? why should i? you fucking lied to me jaehyun!” i shouted, every raw emotion coming out.
“fine… if you won’t believe me that’s fine but, y/n i truly did fall in love with you. i love you to this day, this very moment. and since realizing that i stopped answering her, it didn’t matter to me when she’d occasionally message me because all i wanted was you!” jaehyun says.
“love doesn’t mean lying jaehyun.” i watched as he opened his mouth again, but closed it soon after. he knew you were right. “i- i get that i was in the wrong but-” he starts by saying before i decide to cut him off. “enough of this jaehyun, no matter what comes out of that mouth of yours won’t change my mind.”
“wh-what do you mean,” he mutters, his lips trembling. jaehyun feared what you meant by this, he feared his number one fear coming true. that fear was none other than losing you.
“i mean that we’re over.”
your words hit jaehyun like a bulldozer. so hard he almost feels the pieces of his shattered heart. never once in his life has regretted his life, unlike today. he should’ve told you, he knows he should’ve but he was too cowardly to do so. and now he’s bearing the consequences, watching you deeply hurt because of his actions.
when you feel as though nothing more could be said or done, you grab your purse and walked to the hotel doorway. you faintly hear as jaehyun calls out to you, but you try to ignore it. however he grabs one of your arms by your wrist, stopping you just as you were about to open the door.
you turn back, “what?” you say in annoyance. “pl-please don’t leave. just tell me how i could fix things, you-” you interrupt him again.
more annoyed this time you say, “what don’t you get!? jaehyun we’re over! nothing you say or do now is going to change what happened.” he grips you a little tighter, causing you to look up at him. your heart almost sinks as you see him with tears rolling down his eyes like waterfalls. oddly enough you also begin to shed tears.
“p-please,” you plead with him. “just let me go jae. you and i both know this is irreversible.” his eyes soften, causing you to look down. you just couldn’t look at him, it hurt you even more. that was when you noticed the small gift bag in your purse.
his birthday present. you’d forgotten to give it to him. you know that now is not the right time to give it to him, but nonetheless you still decide to do so. taking out the small gift, you hand it over to him. that causes his hand to let go of your wrist so that he’d be able to take the gift in both his hands.
swiftly you grab the door handle, opening the door. you glance back one last time, a frozen jaehyun in the doorway. “goodbye jaehyun,” you say as you walk out. then right before the door closes you hear him say for one last time, “i love you, y/n.”
└───❀̥˚───❀̥˚┘
once you made it inside the elevator you slumped down to your knees, waterfalls of tears omitting from your eyes. you couldn’t believe it, jaehyun… how could he. moments of the two you flashed through your head.
part of you wishing you’d said more, questioned him more. like asking him: “do you see her, in the back of your mind? In my eyes?” but then again part of it felt like it made sense now, why you were always on edge.
as you walked along the side walk, you thought that perhaps this was for the best. i mean everything happens for a reason after all. one day this would be all but just a fleeting memory, a blurry memory i would have no recollection of. i’d hoped and prayed for that.
today. valentine’s day, cryin’ in the hotel… i know you didn’t mean to hurt me so i kept it to myself.

Imagine beefy Bucky with a baby girl. That’s his tiny princess. His little angel. She’s nearly invisible the first time he carries her, the little bundle lost in his thick arms. Her tiny hand hardly wraps around his finger, holding onto him while he caressed her soft chubby cheeks.
He’s in tears the first time she’s placed in his hold, her first instinct being to nuzzle into his warm chest.
Just like her mama.
She's so delicate and precious, he never wants to let her go. He wants to keep her warm, safe and protected forever, giving her the most feather light kisses while snuggling her close.
She loves his voice, easily falling asleep to it when he reads and sings to her. She coos when he's near by, happily squealing when she hears his footsteps, ready for the warmest cuddles in daddy's firm, strong arms. She loves to lay her head against his chest where she can hear his heart beat, falling asleep every time he carries her.
It makes everyone around the compound melt into a puddle every time they witness it. This large mass of metal and muscle cooing and giggling at the tiny bundle of pink sleeping on his chest, swaying with her while she clutches onto his dogtags.
Sam and Tony initially want to tease him over it but its just so wholesome, all the sneaky pictures they take are saved for memories. Steve could spend hours watching his best friend become a husband, a father, happy to see him get a happy ending that he deserves. He loves seeing the way Bucky's face lights up when your by his side, looking at you with pure heart eyes.
He loves to spend time with the both of you in your shared bedroom, keeping you in his lap while his little one nurses, caressing your skin, telling you how much he loves you both. He loves intimate moments like this where his kisses and touches are purely from how much he loves you. You always almost fall asleep because of how warm he is and he loves it every time. As soon as your eyes grow heavy, he takes his baby from your arms, helping you lie down before rocking and burping her. He wipes her little pouty lips, before soothing her to sleep.
As soon as she's in her crib, he's there to tend to you next, rubbing your back while you're already softly snoring, sighing contently feeling his touch.
This is the life he's dreamed of and there's nothing that could get better than this.
Until a few weeks later where he'll find out he has a baby boy on the way.

Genshin Characters and their "Multo" aka Ghost.
Zhongli/Morax
Humingang malalim, pumikit na muna At baka sakaling namamalikmata lang
Zhongli, Morax's ghost is that fact that he would outlive you over and over again. He would live for a whole lifetime just to see you die before him. Forever haunted by the different yet the same version of his beloved. Haunted by the fact that he would try to find you in everyone thus realising the fact that he could no longer love anyone else. But you.
Morax who finds you in everyone, reminds you of everything. It was like everything was about you. And how funny it was, you were anywhere but next to him. It feel like the more he tries to forget about you- despite the thousands of years, memories that were long forgotten. Despite the fact that he could barely remember your face, your voice. You still haunts him. Everything reminds him of you no matter how much he trues to deny it. He could never get used to it.
Kamisato Ayato
Ba't nababahala? 'Di ba't ako'y mag-isa? Kala ko'y payapa, boses mo'y tumatawag pa
Ayato's ghost would be the fact that he almost had you. The fact that the two of you happened; a short serenity. A short bliss of happiness he would never forget that would forever haunt him as he choose his duties before himself.
People would see him as the Head of the Kamisato Clan, the one who manage to rebuild his clan at the edge of ruins. The one who was said to be cunning yet kind. A manipulator and a strategist. The one who was contented with his life, and yet the moment he heard your familiar calling, he would look back. Only to realise he was alone, you aren't here anymore. That this is what he had given up willingly all those years ago. His happiness.
Al Haitham
Binaon naman na ang lahat Tinakpan naman na 'king sugat
Al Haitham's ghost is the fact that he never confess. It was never about the circumstances, you were always by his side. It was never about miscommunication, you talked, you always does. It was never about trust, he had known you all his life, the trust that you two had was everything. It was about time. It was about damn time. He though you had more time, if only he had known.
So as he stood in front of your grave, a flower in hand. He just stares. Would things be different he confessed? If he asked you to stay? Stay with him? If he did not try to play it safe, would you still be here with him? If he did not try to suppress these feelings, would you still be here right beside him? He would never know and it would haunt him for the rest of his life.
Neuvillette
Ngunit ba't ba andito pa rin? Hirap na 'kong intindihin
Neuvillette's ghost is the fact that he could never love you again, not after the hundred years of guilt. While it was the verdict and countless accusations, evidence that eventually took you away from him. He was the same being that pass on that verdict to you. While he had forgiven the national from that they did. He himself could not forgive the fact that he did that to you.
He knew you deserve better, now that you are back. He knew that you deserve better, and he knew he was not. So he let you go, for the second time in his lifeline, he let you go. But it was okay, at least this time you are alive, you are safe, even if it wasn't by his side. He knew he could not love you again, the guilt was eating him alive and yet the pain of seeing you with someone else was a different kind of pain, one that would haunt him forever, for the rest of his life.
Diluc Ragnvindr
Tanging panalangin, lubayan na sana Dahil sa bawat tingin, mukha mo'y nakikita
Diluc's ghost is the dreams and broken promises that he had left behind upon becoming the rouge, on his venture for vengeance. He left without saying goodbye, not even a letter explaining why. Not even a letter to his own fiancé he had left alone in the altar.
The same fiancé that came into mind when he find himself knocking on deaths door, keeping him alive. Only to find out the reason why he manage to kept himself alive the reason why he came back was no longer around. You died, alone in an alley at day the two of you were supposed to get married. Clutching the rings the two of you were supposed to exchange that very same day. Now kept in his chest, attached on the necklace underneath his clothes. Hoping it was you talking through the tavern door, greeting him with your smile. That was a dream he would forever wish upon.

: I've been lss Multo for a few days now anddd wellll, i miss genshin :") ALSO ANG BANAS GRABE LORD
Bonus:
You
Kahit sa'n man mapunta ay anino mo'y kumakapit sa 'king kamay Ako ay dahan-dahang nililibing nang buhay pa
Your ghost is Capitano who you spend most of your life with. He who cannot rest in peace finally find himself at peace. And there is nothing you can do about it but to accept the fact that he had left you behind. That he had finally find his peace, something you had always been dreaming of when it comes to him. Because admit it, it may not seemed that way but he had always been suffering, carrying onnthe weight of the nation that had long been gone.
As much as you want to hate him for leaving you alone. You cannot, not when he had finally find his peace. Not when he could finally rest. But then again, if there is nothing that would haunt you forever is by how peaceful he looked when he left. Like he had no regrets, like he had done enough. In which in fact he did. He left in peace, which left you in pieces. Never to love again.

Summary: You feel dragged around by Oscar, always sidelined in favor of his friend group with no say in their or his plans. But what happens when the bucket finally overflows?
Note: Hey everyone I'm back, and this time with the long-awaited Oscar fic. I just wanted to let all of you know that the second semester of uni has started, so I want to apologize in advance for my inactivity. I hope you enjoy this one! 🌸
Reader x Oscar Piastri
Genre: fluff/angst
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and the sun was just starting to dip behind the clouds, casting a soft glow through the windows.
Oscar and I were sprawled out on the couch, his arm wrapped around me, his fingers gently tracing patterns on my arm.
The TV was on, but neither of us was paying much attention to it. We were content, enjoying the stillness of the moment, the quiet of our own little world.
"I’m glad we’re finally having a day to ourselves," Oscar murmured, his voice low and warm, sending a shiver down my spine.
He tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, his touch so gentle it almost felt like a caress.
"Me too," I whispered, leaning into him, breathing in the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with the soft musk of his skin.
"It feels like it’s been forever."
His laugh rumbled through his chest.
"I know. Feels like we’ve barely had time to just... be."
We sat in silence for a moment, the kind of comfortable silence that only comes from being with someone you truly care about.
I felt safe here with him, like I could stay wrapped in this moment forever, untouched by the outside world.
It was these small, quiet moments that made everything feel okay.
Oscar shifted slightly, propping himself up on his elbow to look down at me.
"Hey babe, so, my friends are meeting up later. You know Jack and the others—"
I blinked up at him, already sensing where this was going.
"We’re going to meet up with them?" I asked, trying to keep my tone light, but it was a little harder than usual.
"Yeah, just for a drink," he said, his expression brightening, clearly excited about it.
"You’ll come, right?"
I smiled, but it was more of a reflex than anything.
"Sure, of course."
Oscar didn’t seem to notice my hesitation.
"Awesome. I know everyone will be happy to see you."
He leaned in to kiss my forehead, and I held my breath for just a second, trying to push down the tightness that had suddenly crept into my chest.
But I couldn’t help it. Inside, I felt... different.
I should’ve been excited, right? After all, meeting up with friends was supposed to be a good thing.
It was supposed to be something I looked forward to.
But instead, there was this nagging feeling in the back of my mind, a knot tightening in my stomach.
The truth was, I didn’t feel like I was part of his world when we went out with his friends.
Not really. Not like I belonged, at least. They weren’t unkind, it was just like I was an outsider.
I tried to insert myself into conversations, but they always slipped back into their own comfortable rhythm, talking about racing, about sim racing, about things I just didn’t have the same connection to.
I wasn’t part of that world, and no matter how hard I tried, I could never quite bridge the gap.
And it always seemed like they didn't want me to be part of their conversations either.
But I couldn’t tell Oscar that. He loved his friends. And I loved him.
So I went along with it, even though it made me feel more like an accessory than a partner sometimes.
I didn’t want to disappoint him. I didn’t want to be the girlfriend who said no when he asked her to join him.
I didn’t want to be the one who got in the way of his friendships. If I didn’t go, they’d talk behind my back.
I knew they would. And I didn’t want to be that girl. The one who held him back or made him feel like he had to choose.
So I smiled, nodded, and said, "Sure, of course," even if it wasn’t how I felt.
Oscar’s voice broke through my thoughts. "You’re quiet. Everything okay?"
I blinked up at him, forcing my smile to stay in place. "Yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking."
He smiled back, completely unaware of the turmoil inside me.
"Alright, then. I’m looking forward to it."
I nodded, but my thoughts wandered again. There was always this underlying feeling that I wasn’t really meant to be there.
When Oscar wasn’t around, I could feel the silence in the air, like I was standing on the outside of their inside jokes, and no matter how much I tried to join in, it was always just a little too late.
It was easier when Oscar was right there beside me, talking to me, pulling me into the conversation.
But the second he was distracted, even for a moment, it was like I was invisible.
And no one noticed. Not even him. It was like only his friends existed and I didn't have any.
The worst part? It wasn’t just this one time.
It was every time. It was a routine, something that was becoming harder and harder to ignore.
I had tried. God, I had tried so many times to get him to come out with my friends.
Tried to bring it up casually, to suggest that maybe, just maybe, I could spend time with my own group for a change.
But it always got brushed off, like my friends didn’t really matter as much.
"Oh, babe, I thought you wanted to hang out with me," he’d say,
always with that playful grin, as if the suggestion that I might want a night out with my friends was absurd.
"Come on, you don’t want to miss out on the guys." And before I could even reply, he'd already be dragging me into some new conversation with his friends or making plans for something with them.
At first, I thought maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe one night with his friends wouldn’t hurt.
But then it happened again. And again.
And each time, my attempt to spend time with my own friends was met with that same dismissive ease, as if it wasn’t even an option.
I couldn’t tell him how much it stung. I didn’t want to cause tension or make him feel bad.
He was just... excited to be with his friends. And I was happy for him, really, I was.
But the more I gave in, the more I realized how much I was missing out on my own life, my own connections.
But I could never say it. Not out loud. Because I didn’t want to disappoint him.
I didn’t want him to think I didn’t care about his friendships, or worse—be seen as the girlfriend who couldn’t handle being around his friends.
I kept telling myself I was being unreasonable, that it was normal to spend so much time with his group. But deep down, I knew I was giving up something of myself every time.
And still, I went along with it. Like I always did.
"Alright, I’ll get ready," I said, trying to shake off the unease that had settled in my chest.
"Let’s go meet them."
Oscar grinned, clearly happy to see me gearing up for the night.
"I knew you’d come through," he said, giving me a quick, playful kiss on the cheek.
I returned his smile, but inside, I was already bracing myself for the evening.
For the smiles and the jokes, for the moments where I’d try to laugh along, to fit in, to make it through the night without feeling like I was losing myself a little more with each passing second.
I could do this. For him. Always for him.
But as I stepped into the bedroom to change, I couldn’t help but sigh.
Tumblr media
Oscar and I arrived at the pub just as the evening sky darkened, the neon signs casting a warm glow against the wet pavement.
The usual buzz of London nightlife was already in full swing, and I could feel the energy in the air, but it felt so far removed from me.
I could hear the laughter and chatter before we even stepped inside.
Oscar grinned, pulling me by the hand toward the door, and I followed him through the dimly lit space, the noise growing louder with each step.
Inside, the group was already gathered around a corner booth, half of them already in animated conversation.
Mark waved enthusiastically when he saw us, and Max glanced up from his phone with a nod.
The others—Jake, Sam, and Alex—were busy talking, their voices overlapping in that easy camaraderie they all shared.
Oscar, being Oscar, was immediately pulled into the conversation, his friends already excitedly discussing whatever they were talking about.
Probably something related to their latest weekend plans or their favorite shows.
He easily fell into the rhythm of their group, nodding along and laughing, without even sparing a glance at me.
It felt like I was invisible, sitting on the edge of this conversation I didn’t quite belong to.
"Hey, Y/n!" Mark said with a grin, leaning over to give me a fist bump.
"How’s it going?"
"Good, good," I mumbled, trying to smile. "Just... chilling."
I took the seat beside Oscar, settling into the booth but immediately feeling the weight of the conversation happening around me.
Oscar was already in a deep conversation with Mark and Max, nodding along and laughing at something one of them had said.
His arm was draped over the back of my chair, but he wasn’t really looking at me.
His attention was all on them. And for some reason, tonight, it felt more obvious than usual.
I glanced at the table, at the half-empty drinks, the clinking of glasses as the guys cheered each other on.
And there I was, on the edge of it all, nursing my drink, my eyes flickering around the room but never really landing anywhere.
Tonight, I wasn’t even trying to engage anymore. It felt pointless.
I wasn’t sure if I had given up or if I was just... tired.
Tired of trying to fit into a space that didn’t feel like mine.
At some point, the conversation shifted, and I overheard Mark suggesting that they should all go snowboarding for the weekend.
The thought of a weekend away, filled with snow and action, was enough to make their voices rise a little louder, their enthusiasm palpable.
But what caught my attention wasn’t the idea itself—it was how quickly Oscar jumped on board.
"Yeah, that sounds awesome," he said, nodding without missing a beat.
"We can go that weekend. It’s perfect."
And just like that, the plan was made.
Everyone agreed, and the group easily fell into the flow of arranging details.
But what made my chest tighten was how Oscar didn’t even hesitate.
Not even a moment's thought. He was already locked in with them.
But worse—he didn’t even ask me.
He didn’t even look at me to see if I had plans or if I had something I wanted to do.
He just assumed, and what hit me harder was when he added, without a second thought, "Y/n will come with us, too."
Like I was an afterthought. Like my opinion didn’t even matter.
I froze, my stomach twisting.
That weekend was the same weekend I had planned to hang out with my own friends.
The same friends I hadn’t seen in forever, the ones I was constantly sidelining to go to Oscar’s hangouts.
It wasn’t that I didn’t like Oscar’s friends—I did, in my own way.
But the more this happened, the more I realized just how much I missed my own group.
I missed their jokes, the way we could just talk about anything and everything without the weight of racing and sim setups hovering over us.
I missed me—the version of myself that wasn’t always Oscar’s girlfriend, the one who had her own life too.
I was getting tired of always saying "yes," of always being the one who dropped whatever I had planned to follow him into his world.
But when I looked at Oscar, when I saw how excited he was to go snowboarding with his friends, I knew he wouldn’t understand.
He wouldn’t get why it bothered me that he didn’t ask, that he just assumed I’d follow him wherever he went.
I took a deep breath, steadying myself. I needed to say something.
I should say something.
"Hey, Osc," I started, my voice just a little too tight.
"I had plans that weekend, actually... with my friends."
He didn’t even look at me.
He was still talking to Mark, leaning forward, already discussing the finer points of the snowboarding trip.
"Oh, you’ll be fine," he said with a wave of his hand. "It’ll be fun. Everyone’s going, right?"
He didn’t hear me. Didn’t even try to.
He just waved me off, like my plans didn’t matter.
I opened my mouth to say something, to try again, but before I could, Oscar’s attention was already back on Mark, and he was talking to Max about which resort to go to.
I felt the words catch in my throat, lost amidst the noise, as he dismissed me without even realizing it.
"Just wait, okay?" Oscar added his voice light, distracted.
"We’ll talk about it later, but let’s figure this out first."
And just like that, the conversation moved on.
I closed my mouth, my shoulders sinking.
I could feel the old familiar wave of frustration building up inside me, usually, I would just bite my tongue and swallow my pride.
But this time, something inside me snapped.
I was fed up. This was the last straw.
It wasn’t just the snowboarding weekend—it was everything.
The constant pushing aside of my feelings, my plans, my life outside of his world.
The way he always assumed my presence without ever considering what I wanted.
The way he took me for granted, not even realizing how much it hurt.
I couldn’t keep pretending that everything was fine.
I couldn’t keep swallowing my frustration just to keep the peace.
I didn’t want to be the girlfriend who was always there, who always said yes, who always smiled and nodded.
I was done.
Done pretending.
Done sacrificing my own happiness for his.
Done being an afterthought in my own relationship.
It was time for me to finally say something.
Tumblr media
After hours of the guys planning their trip, talking and laughing— it was finally time to wrap it up.
I couldn't be more relieved but there was still one thing on my mind and that was confronting Oscar.
We sat in the car as Oscar drove us back home.
The car ride home was silent.
Oscar drove with his usual relaxed demeanor, one hand on the wheel, the other resting absentmindedly on my thigh.
Usually, that gesture made my heart flutter, but tonight it felt more like a formality, a habit.
Something that no longer had the warmth it used to.
I stared out the window, watching the blur of city lights pass by.
My jaw was clenched so tightly I was starting to feel the ache in my teeth, but I didn’t care.
The frustration, the hurt, all of it was bubbling up inside me.
I knew I couldn’t go to bed tonight without getting it out. I had to say something.
So I did.
“Oscar.”
He hummed in response, eyes focused on the road ahead, his fingers tapping lightly on the steering wheel.
I hesitated, just for a moment.
But the frustration couldn’t be contained anymore.
“Why do we always hang out with your friends?”
His brow furrowed, and his eyes flicked toward me briefly before returning to the road.
“What do you mean love?”
I turned in my seat, crossing my arms over my chest, fighting the tightening in my throat.
“I mean every single time we go out, it’s always with your group. I never get to see my friends. You never let me make plans with them. Just yours.”
My voice wavered a little. “I always have to tag along.”
Oscar’s grip on the wheel tightened slightly, and he sighed. “That’s not true.”
“It is,” I said, my voice sharp.
“You always say ‘next time,’ but next time never comes. And when I bring it up, it’s like I’m asking for the world. I sit there with your friends, feeling like I don’t even exist, and you’re too busy to notice.”
His eyes flicked to me again, then back to the road.
“Y/n, you don’t have to come if you don’t want to.”
I blinked, stunned by his response. “Are you serious?”
“What?” He shot me a quick look, confusion flickering in his eyes.
“You’re acting like I’m forcing you.”
“You do force me, Oscar,” I snapped, my voice rising.
“You never ask. You just expect me to go along with whatever you’re doing. And the one time I try to suggest something for me—something with my friends—you brush it off, or you convince me I don’t need them.”
My eyes stung with frustration.
“I’m not your accessory, Oscar. I’m not just supposed to be there when it’s convenient for you.”
He sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair.
“That’s not how it is. You’re making this into something it’s not.”
I shook my head, eyes staring out the window.
“Then explain it to me. Explain why it’s always you and your friends. Why it’s always your plans, your world, and I’m just... here. When’s the last time we did something you didn’t drag me into?”
There was a long pause, the only sound the hum of the tires against the road.
Oscar’s jaw clenched, and I could feel the shift in his energy like he was gearing up to defend himself. But nothing came.
Finally, he let out a frustrated sigh.
“You’re being selfish, Y/n. I don’t ask you to come every time. If you didn’t want to, you could just... not come. But you don’t, so don’t act like I’m forcing you to be there.”
My stomach dropped. “Excuse me?”
“I’m serious,” he said, voice tight.
“Why do you care so much? It’s not like they don’t like you.”
“That’s not the point, Oscar!” I practically shouted.
“The point is, you don’t make the same effort for me! You know, the person you’re supposed to care about? I follow you around like some lost puppy. I sit through conversations I don’t even understand, I pretend everything is fine, and every time I try to tell you how I feel, it’s like you don’t hear me. You don’t see me. It’s always about your plans, your life.”
Oscar glanced at me, his grip tightening on the steering wheel, a vein popping in his neck.
“I’m not saying it’s perfect. But it’s not like I’m ignoring you, Y/n.”
“Then why do I feel so damn invisible?” I shot back, my voice trembling now.
“I’m not asking for the world. I’m just asking for a little bit of effort. Just a little bit of balance, maybe, where my life matters too.”
He ran a frustrated hand through his hair, his voice dropping with a sigh.
“God, Y/n, it’s not a big deal. I don’t understand why you’re making this such a huge issue.”
“Not a big deal?” I let out a bitter laugh.
“You don’t get it. You never get it.”
Oscar’s frustration boiled over.
“You’re being unreasonable. I can’t change everything just because you’re suddenly upset about it. You're such a drama queen.”
His words stung, but I wasn’t backing down. I was done pretending.
I was done giving in.
“No, you can’t change everything overnight, Oscar. But you can start by acknowledging that I’m not just here for your convenience. I’m not just your plus-one to every single thing. I’m me. And I have my own life, my own friends, and I need you to care about that, too.”
Silence stretched between us, heavy and thick. Oscar’s jaw was clenched, his knuckles white against the wheel.
The air was thick with the weight of our words, of all the things we’d said that hadn’t been said before.
He didn’t respond at first. Just kept his eyes on the road, the car humming beneath us.
And I could feel the tension in the car, the space between us growing wider, like a chasm I wasn’t sure we could cross.
But I wasn’t going to back down.
“I’m not asking for everything, Oscar,” I whispered, almost to myself.
“I’m just asking to not feel like I’m invisible anymore.”
Neither of us spoke for the rest of the drive.
The night felt colder than it had before.
Tumblr media
The drive home felt endless.
By the time we pulled up to our apartment building, the weight of everything hung thick in the air between us.
Oscar turned off the engine, his hand moving from the wheel to rest at his side, but he didn’t look at me.
He didn’t say anything.
The silence was louder than the car’s engine had ever been.
I sat there for a moment, my heart racing, my mind buzzing. I had hoped he would say something, anything.
An apology, an explanation. But he didn’t.
He didn’t even seem to want to acknowledge the fight we’d just had, the frustration and hurt I’d tried to lay out for him.
I wasn’t going to let this fester. Not again.
I took a deep breath, unclipping my seatbelt. Oscar still hadn’t moved, still hadn’t looked at me.
I reached for my bag, not even bothering to look his way.
His silence felt like the final nail in the coffin.
“I’m going to my best friend’s,” I said, my voice steady but cold.
Oscar’s gaze flickered toward me briefly, but his lips stayed pressed together, the weight of his pride holding him back from speaking.
I didn’t need to hear him say it; I already knew.
He was too stubborn, too set in his ways to admit he’d messed up.
I didn’t look back.
I grabbed my things and slammed the door behind me, making my way away from him.
It was truly a blessing that my bestie only lived 10 minutes away from us.
So I started walking, not even glancing back as I didn't want to see him anymore.
I didn’t know if I was more angry or heartbroken.
I should have known.
Oscar had always been more about his pride than admitting his wrongs.
He wouldn’t change, not now, not when I needed him to.
When I finally arrived at my best friend’s place, I knocked on the door with urgency.
As soon as she saw me, she opened it wide, pulling me inside without a word.
I collapsed into her arms, my body shaking as the tears I had been holding back for so long finally broke free.
“Hey, hey,” she murmured, her voice full of concern.
“What happened? What’s wrong?”
“I… I don’t even know where to start,” I sobbed, wiping my eyes.
“It’s Oscar. He doesn’t… he doesn’t listen. I’m not important to him, not the way he’s important to me.”
Her expression softened, and she guided me to the couch, sitting beside me.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself as I began to pour everything out.
“I feel like I’m just... a shadow in his life. I don’t exist in the way he does with his friends. We’re always with his group, and my friends are pushed aside. Every time I try to make plans, he shuts them down. And tonight… tonight, it was the last straw. I tried to tell him, but he just didn’t get it. He didn’t care. He just sat there, not even apologizing or acknowledging how hurt I was. I... I’m so tired of being invisible.”
She listened intently, not interrupting me, just offering a comforting presence as I vented.
When I finally fell silent, she pulled me into a tight hug.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n,” she whispered.
“You don’t deserve to feel like that. You’re worth so much more than how he’s treating you.”
I closed my eyes, letting myself relax in her arms for a moment.
I wasn’t ready to be okay, but at least here, I didn’t feel alone.
After a long while, she pulled back slightly, her gaze soft but serious.
“You know... everyone has missed you. We’ve all been wondering why you’ve been so distant lately. We haven’t seen you in forever. It’s like you’ve disappeared, and no one knew what to say.”
I sniffled, guilt crashing over me.
“I didn’t mean to shut everyone out. I just… I don’t know. I thought I was doing the right thing, but I’ve been so wrapped up in him. I should’ve been better.”
She shook her head, her expression softening.
“You don’t have to apologize for that. But you do need to come out with us tomorrow. You need to make it up to yourself, too. And to us. We miss you, Y/n. You need to have fun again, and be around people who actually appreciate you for you.”
I wiped my eyes, a small smile tugging at the corner of my lips.
“You’re right. I’ve been so caught up in all of this that I forgot how to just... live. Yeah, I’ll go out tomorrow. I think I need it.”
She smiled warmly.
“Good. It’s time to get back to the things that make you happy. And if Oscar isn’t seeing that right now, then maybe it’s time for you to remind yourself of what really matters.”
I nodded, feeling a weight lifting off my shoulders.
I wasn’t okay yet, but for the first time tonight, I felt like maybe I could be.
I wasn’t alone in this. And tomorrow—tomorrow, I would take a step back into my own world. For me.
As we talked about the plans for tomorrow, I could feel the tension in my chest easing, replaced by a tiny flicker of hope.
Maybe, just maybe, I could start finding my way back to who I was before all of this.
Maybe it was time to stop losing myself.
Tumblr media
A few weeks had passed, and I could feel myself slowly beginning to piece my life back together.
It wasn’t easy, but with the help of my best friend and some distance from Oscar, I was starting to remember who I was.
I was going out with my friends again, laughing and enjoying moments I had let slip away.
I even started picking up some old hobbies I had abandoned—reading, painting, and just spending time on myself.
I had a sense of peace that had been missing for a while.
But, despite all that, there was still something—or rather, someone—missing.
Oscar.
He’d tried reaching out to me multiple times, sending texts, calling, but I wasn’t ready to face him, not yet.
I couldn’t just pick up where we left off.
Not without feeling like I was compromising a part of myself again.
Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that he was always there, lingering on the edge of my thoughts, no matter how hard I tried to focus on myself.
I tried not to think about him too much.
One afternoon, I was standing in the grocery store, trying to figure out if I was in the mood for pasta or a salad for dinner, when I turned a corner and nearly ran into someone.
“Oof!” I exclaimed, stumbling back a bit.
I looked up, ready to apologize, but then my words caught in my throat.
It was Oscar.
For a moment, neither of us moved. I was frozen, staring at him, and he was doing the same.
He looked… different. Tired, maybe? But still, unmistakably him.
The way his eyes locked onto mine, the way he hesitated for just a second as if he was unsure how to approach me after everything.
It hit me harder than I expected.
“Y/n,” he said quietly, breaking the silence.
“Hey. Uh… wow. I didn’t expect to see you here.”
I forced a smile, though it didn’t reach my eyes.
“Yeah. Small world, huh?”
We both stood there for a beat, unsure of what to say next.
I could feel the tension in the air, thick with the unspoken words between us.
“How… how have you been?” he asked, his voice tentative, like he was testing the waters.
“I’m good,” I said, my tone a little stiff.
“Just been… figuring things out, you know?”
His eyes softened, and he looked like he wanted to say something more, but then I spoke again, cutting him off.
“What about that snowboarding trip? Didn’t you and your friends plan that?” I asked, my voice holding a bit more edge than I meant.
Oscar’s expression faltered, his gaze dropping for a moment.
When he met my eyes again, there was guilt written all over his face.
“I didn’t go,” he said quietly, almost as if it was a confession.
“I felt… I don’t know. I felt guilty. About everything. How I treated you. The way I didn’t listen.”
His words caught me off guard, and for a moment, I didn’t know how to respond.
He hadn’t gone? I hadn’t expected that.
But then again, I couldn’t tell if it was because he truly felt bad or if it was more out of obligation.
I didn’t know if I was ready to hear more.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.
“We can’t have this conversation here,” I said, glancing around at the busy store.
I wasn’t ready to talk in front of strangers, especially not with all the emotion bubbling just under the surface.
Oscar nodded, clearly understanding.
“I get it. Um... we could talk at our- I mean my place? If you’re up for it.”
I hesitated. My first instinct was to say no, to walk away and continue living my life without him.
But something about his tone—something about the way he looked at me—made me pause.
“I… I need to think about it first,” I said, my voice softer this time.
“I don’t know if I’m ready for that.”
“I understand,” he replied, his voice low.
“Take your time. I’ll be here when you’re ready.”
We stood there for a moment, neither of us moving.
It felt like the world had stopped for just a second, and I had to remind myself that we couldn’t go back to the way things were.
But then, with one last look, I turned and walked away, leaving him standing in the middle of the aisle.
When I arrived back at my best friend’s place, I was still in a daze.
I walked into the living room, where she was sitting on the couch, and collapsed next to her.
“Hey, what’s up?” she asked, looking up from her phone.
But as soon as she saw my face, her eyes softened with concern. “Wait. What happened?”
I let out a shaky breath, the weight of the encounter with Oscar finally hitting me.
“I ran into him. In the store. We… we talked.”
She raised an eyebrow, sitting up straighter.
“And? What happened?”
I recounted everything—the awkwardness, his apology, the way he hadn’t gone on the trip, the way he still seemed so... unsure of what to do with me.
I told her how he asked if we could talk later, and how I had told him I needed time to think about it.
When I finished, she sat quietly for a moment, processing.
“So, what do you think? Do you want to talk to him?”
“I don’t know,” I admitted.
“I’m still so confused. Part of me wants to just leave it behind, but another part of me… I don’t know. I think he really does feel bad. He didn’t go on the trip because of me.”
She nodded slowly, considering my words.
“Y/n, you have to do what feels right for you. But, maybe, just hear him out? I know how much he loves you. And if he’s changed, if he’s willing to try, maybe it’s worth it.”
I let her words sit in the air for a moment, and they resonated in ways I hadn’t expected.
She was right. I needed to make the decision for myself—not based on fear, or anger, but on what I truly wanted.
“Okay,” I said, my voice a little steadier now.
“I’ll think about it. I’ll hear him out. But I’m not going back unless I know things are different.”
She smiled, a glint of understanding in her eyes.
“You’re strong, Y/n. Do what’s best for you. You deserve that.”
I nodded, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders.
Tomorrow, I would take that step.
Whatever happened after that, at least I knew I was doing it for me.
And if Oscar was willing to change, then maybe we could find a way forward.
Tumblr media
The next day, after spending the night talking with my best friend and sorting through my feelings, I knew what I had to do.
I couldn’t keep avoiding the conversation with Oscar, not if I ever wanted closure—or if there was even a chance at rebuilding what we once had.
It wasn’t going to be easy, and I wasn’t going to go easy on him.
But I owed it to myself to at least hear him out, to see if he was really ready to change, or if he was just another disappointment I’d have to swallow.
I arrived at his place in the late afternoon, my nerves tangled in my stomach like a thousand knots.
I stood in front of his door for a long moment, my hand hovering over the doorbell.
I hadn’t been here in weeks, and it felt strange—like I didn’t belong in this space anymore.
But I pressed the button anyway, and soon enough, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching from the other side.
I stood there for a moment, after he opened the door, taking him in.
His eyes widened in shock, his mouth parting like he couldn’t believe I was actually standing there.
But I wasn’t about to let him off the hook so easily.
“You came,” he said, a mix of surprise and something else—hope, maybe.
But I wasn’t about to let that sway me.
I nodded, stepping inside, and closed the door behind me with a soft click.
We stood in silence for a few seconds, an awkwardness hanging between us, but I wasn’t about to give in to it.
Not tonight.
I folded my arms across my chest, my posture stiff but determined.
“Yeah. I came. But don’t get too comfortable, Oscar. I’m not here to joke around. We need to talk.”
His eyes flickered, but he didn’t interrupt. Good.
He knew I wasn’t messing around. We both made our way to the couch, and when I sat down, he hesitated for just a second before sitting across from me.
The tension was palpable.
I could feel the familiar walls between us, the ones that had started to form before I even realized they were there.
I stared at him, holding his gaze with a quiet intensity.
“So. You’ve had time to think. I hope.”
Oscar shifted in his seat, clearly uncomfortable with the weight of the situation.
But that wasn’t my problem anymore.
“Y/n, I... I didn’t know how to start. I’m sorry for what I did. I know I messed up.”
I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “Sorry? Is that all you’ve got?”
His eyes widened. “What do you mean? I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
I didn’t care about his apology. I needed to know why he acted like he didn’t give a damn about me.
It wasn’t just about what he did—it was about how he never listened, never even saw how I was feeling. And that? That was unforgivable.
“You’re sorry?” I repeated, my voice dripping with disbelief.
“Really? Oscar, you’ve said that so many times, but you never change. Do you know why? Because you think that saying sorry is enough. You think you can just say the words and expect me to forget how you treated me. But it’s not enough. Not anymore. Not after everything.”
He opened his mouth to speak, but I didn’t let him.
“You dragged me to hangouts with your friends, never once asking if I was comfortable. You assumed I was fine when I was literally choking on my discomfort, just sitting there, trying not to be invisible. I tried to make it work, Oscar. I really did. I made the effort to be part of your world, even though it never felt like I belonged there. But when I tried to introduce you to my friends? You dismissed it. Over and over again.”
Oscar’s face softened, and for the first time, I saw the guilt settle in his eyes.
He opened his mouth again, but I cut him off.
“No, listen. You don’t get to just apologize and think that’s it,” I continued, my voice firm, unrelenting.
“I gave up my time for you. I sacrificed things that mattered to me, and you never even bothered to try and meet me halfway. When I tried to tell you how I was feeling, you brushed it off like it didn’t matter. It was never about me, Oscar. It was always about you, and that... that’s what broke me.”
His gaze dropped to the floor, shame painting his features. I could see how much it was hurting him to hear this, but that didn’t matter.
He needed to hear it. He needed to understand exactly how much he’d messed up.
“I want to believe you, Oscar. I really do,” I went on, my voice softer now, but no less strong.
“But you’ve got to do better. I’m not some backup plan that you can string along when it’s convenient for you. I’m not going to be okay with you shutting me out and only letting me into your world when you feel like it. I need to see that you’re willing to change. I need to see that I matter to you.”
He ran a hand through his hair, frustration and guilt mixing in his expression.
“I do care about you, Y/n. I never meant to make you feel that way. I was just... I was caught up in my own thing, and I didn’t notice how much I was neglecting you. I get it now. I understand. I’m sorry.”
I shook my head, unwilling to let him off the hook that easily.
“Sorry isn’t going to fix everything. You can’t just say ‘I’m sorry’ and think that erases the hurt. You have to show me that you mean it, that you’re actually going to put in the work. And no, I’m not just talking about saying the right things. I want to see it. I want to see actions. I want to see you make my world as important as yours. I want to feel like I matter, too. Like I’m chosen, not just tolerated.”
Oscar looked at me for a long time, his mouth opening and closing as he struggled to find the right words.
I could tell he was genuinely sorry, but he also needed to do a hell of a lot more than apologize.
“I understand,” he said finally, his voice thick with emotion.
“I’ve been selfish. I’ve been an idiot. I’ll do better. I’ll show you. I’ll prove it. I don’t want to lose you, Y/n.”
I took a deep breath, trying to steady my emotions.
“You’ve got one chance, Oscar. One. If you really want this, you’re going to have to fight for it. And I’m not going to make it easy for you.”
He nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving mine.
“I’ll fight for you. I swear I will. I don’t want to lose what we had.”
I stared at him for another moment, weighing his words. This wasn’t going to be easy.
It wasn’t going to be a quick fix, but something in me—something deep inside—felt a flicker of hope.
“Alright,” I said finally, my voice a little more calm now.
“We’ll try again. But it’s on my terms. You have to show me that you can be the partner I deserve. No more half-assed efforts.”
He nodded quickly, relief flooding his face. “I will. I swear.”
I looked at him, trying to read him.
After everything, after all the hurt, there was a part of me that wanted to believe he’d actually changed.
I wasn’t sure if I was ready to open my heart completely again, but I was willing to give him the chance to prove himself.
“I’m not going to wait around forever, Oscar,” I added, my voice steady.
“If you screw this up again, I’m out. No second chances.”
“I understand,” he said softly.
“And I’ll do everything I can to make sure I don’t mess it up.”
We sat there, in that tense silence, for a few moments.
It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t even close.
But for the first time in a while, I felt like we had a chance.
Maybe that was enough—for now.
Tumblr media
The next few days with Oscar were... different.
I wasn’t expecting everything to change overnight, but I could see that he was genuinely trying.
It wasn’t just about words anymore; he was backing them up with actions..
And little by little, I started to see the man I had fallen for, the one who cared about me as much as I cared about him.
The first time I noticed it was when I came home from work one evening to find the apartment filled with the smell of my favorite dinner.
Oscar was in the kitchen, his sleeves rolled up, humming softly to himself as he cooked.
“You didn’t have to do this,” I said, leaning against the doorframe, watching him with a soft smile.
He turned around with a grin, his face lighting up when he saw me.
“I know, but I wanted to. I’ve been thinking a lot about everything we talked about, and... I want to show you that I can do better. So, I thought I’d start with cooking your favorite meal.”
I raised an eyebrow. “You sure you didn’t burn anything?”
“Not this time,” he said, giving me a teasing wink.
“I’m learning. Slowly.”
I couldn’t help but laugh.
It was little things like this, him taking the time to make something for me, that made me realize he wasn’t just doing it to make up for what happened.
He was doing it because he wanted to.
Because he was present.
Another evening, we were sitting on the couch watching a movie, and Oscar—without being asked—grabbed my favorite blanket and draped it over me, making sure I was cozy.
It wasn’t a grand gesture, but it was thoughtful.
It was him, paying attention to what made me feel comfortable and cared for.
And then came the first big test.
Oscar’s friends invited us out for drinks, and usually, it would have been a given.
He would have agreed without even asking me what I wanted to do.
But this time, as he was texting them back, he turned to me, his expression serious.
“Hey love,” he said, his voice soft but sincere.
“My friends are asking if we want to go out tonight, but I wanted to check with you first. Do you have any plans? What do you want to do?”
I blinked, surprised. “Wait, you’re asking me?”
He nodded, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes.
“Yeah, I want to make sure you’re happy too. So, if you want to do something else tonight, we can. I don’t want to just drag you along with them if you’d rather spend time with me.”
My heart melted. It was such a simple question, but it meant everything. smh the bare minimum.
He was considering me, truly thinking about what I wanted for once.
It was the moment I realized he had changed—he wasn’t just saying the right things anymore; he was actually acting on them.
I smiled, feeling the warmth in my chest spread.
“Well, actually, I’ve been wanting to go to that new café downtown. We could grab a coffee and walk around a bit, if you’re up for it.”
Oscar’s face broke into a grin, his eyes lighting up with genuine happiness.
“That sounds perfect. Let’s do it.”
As we got ready to leave, he grabbed my hand, squeezing it gently, as if to remind me that he was here, with me.
I wasn’t just an afterthought anymore; I was chosen. And for the first time in a long time, I felt like we were in this together.
The evening was exactly what I needed—a quiet, peaceful time with Oscar.
No distractions, no pressure. Just us, enjoying each other’s company.
And as we walked hand in hand down the street, I realized that I had never felt more at ease with him.
The old Oscar, the one who would disappear into his world without a second thought, was gone.
And in his place, there was someone who truly cared about us, about building something that could last.
I knew it wasn’t perfect, and there would still be bumps along the way, but as we shared a quiet laugh and a moment of ease, I couldn’t help but believe that we were getting there.
That night, as we walked back home, he pulled me closer, his arm around my waist.
“I’m really glad we did this,” he said quietly, his breath warm against my ear.
“Me too,” I replied, looking up at him with a smile.
“I think this is the start of something really good.”
And for the first time in a long time, I truly believed it.
The end

Tumblr media
Mine. Mine. Mine.
The same word keeps repeating over and over again in Megumi's mind as he looks at you lying in his lap. So beautiful. So perfect to him. You look up at him, a small smile playing around your lips, and Megumi's heart throbs.
He smiles back at you while his long fingers pet your hair. His dark blue eyes gaze deeply into yours, letting himself drown in your eyes, in your love, in your trust. You are his. His wife, his lover, his everything. You belong to him, and he belongs to you.
Mine.
Megumi likes that word. It holds a special power. Because what is love if not possessiveness?
If you truly love someone, you should give yourself to them fully. You should commit yourself to them. True love is only true love if it lasts forever. It's the only kind of love Megumi can accept. Everything else is just a lie.
Tumblr media
Megumi doesn't think he is a good man.
He believes there is something flawed about his existence. An inadequacy. It lives in his bones, in his blood, in his soul, filling every fiber of his being.
He grew up thinking that there must be something wrong with him. Why else would his father have left him? It must have been because Megumi was lacking something. Because he was not enough.
He always thought he was undeserving of love. That he was cursed to spend his life in the shadows, rejected and lonely.
Until you came into his life and filled his darkness with your light. You showed him another world, another life. A life full of love and affection. It is safe to say he adored you right from the start.
You didn't let him scare you off with his aloof act, with his sarcasm and eye-rolling and rude comments. You saw beneath that act. You refused to let him push you away. You just smiled even brighter at him, took his hand, and pulled him into your world of laughter and warmth and love.
But the problem with stepping into the light is that you don't want to return to the dark afterward. At least, that's how it is for Megumi. You changed him in a devastating way. You gave him everything but also burdened him with the risk of losing everything.
Ever since the day you came into his life, Megumi has been working on keeping you there.
He put a huge diamond ring on your finger after only one year, staking his claim, giving you a promise, and asking for a promise from you in return.
Megumi doesn't do anything less than forever. Lifelong devotion, lifelong commitment. That's what he offers you and what he needs in return. His dark blue eyes searched for your reassurance when he knelt before you, holding your hand gently but firmly in his, offering you all of him. His life, his heart, his loyalty until the end.
He liked what he saw in your eyes. The love and warmth in them had become his everything. When you said yes and became his wife, Megumi knew he would do anything for you and for this love the two of you shared.
Megumi thinks he isn't a good man in general, but he tries his very best for you. He wants to be good for you. He wants to be the man you seem to see in him.
There is something religious about the way he adores you. There never was a God in Megumi's life. No one deserved that title after what life had thrown at him since he was little. But you, you are godly to him.
And Megumi is dedicated to worshiping you like a Goddess. He is dedicated to offering sacrifices at the foot of your altar. He is committed to protecting you, to care for you, to cherish you. To kneel before you, his pretty face pressed against your wet cunt, his strong hands caressing every inch of your skin, his soft lips kissing you, loving you, worshipping your body.
He is there to make your life easier with an endless row of little acts of service, one after the other. Driving you everywhere, preparing a hot bath for you after work, buying your favorite snacks, giving you backrubs and orgasms. Making sure to catalog all of your reactions to his touches so he learns how to fuck you the right way. The way that makes your eyes roll back and cling desperately to him, moaning how good he makes you feel.
Megumi thinks he isn't a good person, but he is a good husband. Maybe not everything about him is flawed. Maybe there is something that's worthy of love. Because that's what you tell him when you cup his face with both your soft hands and smile at him,
"Oh, Megumi, you're doing it again. I can literally see how you are overthinking. Don't worry that much, darling. Don't make everything so hard for yourself. I love you, Megumi. You're the best husband I could ever wish for."
He huffs softly, but a gentle smile lights up his face as he wraps his arms around you and pulls you against his tall, lean-muscled body. He rests his chin on the top of your head, loving how your breathing syncs with his as you snuggle against him.
"I love you too."
And yet, even as he says them, Megumi knows that the words alone aren't enough to convey his feelings for you. But he hopes he can show you how much he loves you.
Tumblr media
Fear is a part of Megumi. It was put into him at a young age when the people who were supposed to love him and care for him left him. A mother who died too soon. A father who went to get cigarettes and never returned. A long row of different foster families who only endured little Megumi's grumpy nature and his outbursts of violence for so long before they dropped him. An older sister who did her best to love him and help him, only to get into an accident that made her fall into a coma, leaving an angry, lost, and scared teenage Megumi behind.
It taught Megumi early on that there is nothing in life he can rely on. It taught him that everyone would leave him eventually. It convinced him that some cruel fate was always walking in the shadows beside him, always waiting to dig its claws into Megumi and drown him in loneliness again.
Your light has chased away most of that darkness that haunts Megumi, but a part of it will always remain.
It flares alive when Megumi sees the way your eyes sparkle when your favorite idol appears on the TV screen. When he sees you mouth the lyrics to that guy's song, and you have that little smile on your face and sway your hips gently to the music. A song about love. Do you think about Megumi when you hear it? Or do you imagine a romance with the singer?
It makes Megumi shove the limited edition of the new album you brought home into the trash when you are at work the next day and act innocent when you search feverishly for it. He tells you that he saw it just yesterday evening lying on top of the books you wanted to return to the library after work today. You might have accidentally put it in the bag, and it must have slipped out while you were at the library. You know how clumsy you can be. But it's ok, don't worry about it. He loves you, and now let him kiss you so you forget about that CD!
The darkness flares alive when Megumi sees you carefully applying your makeup and styling your hair in the morning before work. Why do you feel the need to make yourself look so pretty for your coworkers? You shouldn't care about what they think of you.
"Darling, you've already taken up the bathroom for twenty minutes."
He walks up behind you and slings his arms around your waist, long fingers sprawling possessively over your hips as he leans down to kiss your neck. He gets a whiff of your perfume, the sexy one, the one he always associates with you under him, moaning his name and looking up at him with heavy-lidded eyes as your legs rest on Megumi's shoulders and he turns his head to kiss your ankle and breathe in the soft traces of perfume.
Cold fear forms a knot in his stomach, and his fingers tighten on your body.
"You dress up like you are going on a date... It's only work. Don't waste so much time on your makeup. Join me on a morning walk instead. Hm? What do you say, my love? The dogs would be happy too if you join us."
He sounds calm, a bit amused even. Carefully constructed criticism, so it won't make you think he is jealous. Megumi knows jealousy is a reason for many relationship problems and breakups. So, he is careful to hide his genuine emotions. He is careful to veil his true intentions behind this mask of playful teasing.
You laugh softly and lift your head to look at him in the mirror. Your small hands land on Megumi's and interlace your fingers with his.
"Aww baby, does that mean you think I look pretty?"
You playfully bat your eyelashes at him in the mirror, and Megumi's lips lift in a soft smile.
"Of course I do. My wife always looks beautiful."
He loves the feeling of your wedding ring pressing against the matching ring on his finger. He trails more kisses down your neck with growing urgency. Maybe he should show you how much he treasures you. Maybe he should remind you who you belong to. Maybe if he fucks you good enough, he will be the only one on your mind while you're at work.
His hands slip under your skirt, pushing it up as he watches you in the mirror, blue eyes looking intently as he brushes his long fingers slowly over your panty-clad pussy, rubbing your clit tenderly through the thin fabric.
He can see your lashes flutter, can see the way your lips fall open, even as a weak complaint leaves them,
"Megumi... not now. I will be late for work..."
But Megumi knows what he's doing, and soon your resolve breaks, and you are putty in his hands, leaning against him as he kisses and caresses you. Whining softly as he pushes your panties to the side and rubs your swollen wet clit in tender circles, spreading your creamy wetness over your silky folds, driving you crazy with his tender touches.
Your hands grab the sink tightly when he pushes two long fingers into your wet creamy heat, fucking you slowly with them until you are on the brink of cumming all over his hand.
His heart feels so full, and he can't help but smile when you tremble in his arms and whine and moan, begging him to please fuck you for real.
You cling desperately to him when he lifts you up and carries you back to the bedroom. You moan his name needily when he fucks you hard into the mattress, in a mating press, pressing your knees to your chest so he can go extra deep, rolling his hips slowly against yours, basking in the sounds of your wet pussy, taking his cock. Feeling light-headed upon hearing the noises you make for him, the soft mewls and loud moans.
He tells you to look at him, so he can get the reassurance of seeing the pleasure on your face and the love in your eyes when you cum for him, pussy clenching greedily around him, milking his cock as if you never want to let him go again.
He groans in satisfaction, eyes finally closing when he feels his orgasm wash over him, his cock twitching and spilling his seed deep inside you.
Afterward, Megumi helps you put on your panties again, pulling them up, even as you complain,
"W...wait, baby. I have to wash up first."
His blue eyes are stern when he looks at you and shakes his head.
"No, go like that. I want you to be my good girl and walk around all day with my cum leaking out of your pretty pussy. Think about me anytime you feel it. Think about how much I love you, darling. And once you come back home, I will fill you up again. Will you do that for me? Will you be my good girl?"
You bite your lip and grin at him, obviously turned on by his words,
"Ok, sir. I'll be your good girl."
You let him pull up your panties again and fix your skirt for you, moaning when he kisses your cheek and praises you for being so good for him.
Megumi feels much more at ease again when he drops you at work. You kiss him goodbye a bit longer and deeper than necessary, your tongue flicking against his, whispering against his lips before you part from him,
"That was such a hot morning, baby."
He feels calm and reassured when he watches you leave the car and slowly walk towards the entrance of the large building you work in. He even sings along to the music playing on the radio on the drive home and hums a little tune to himself when he takes the dogs for a walk in the park before he leaves for work.
Tumblr media
Megumi knows he isn't a good man, but he can't help it.
There is this wolf inside him who watches with cold, narrowed eyes as you say goodbye to your coworker before you jog over to where Megumi is waiting in the parked car for you.
There is this beast inside him that digs its claws into his heart and whispers all those hurtful things into his ear.
Didn't you smile at your coworker a bit too brightly? Didn't you stand a bit too close to him? Didn't you laugh a bit too loud at whatever he said?
Megumi grits his teeth, silently growling at the wolf to shut up and fuck off.
Leave me alone! She loves me. She is my wife.
But the wolf whispers back,
But how long will she be your wife? How long before she finds someone better?
Megumi huffs and hits the steering wheel before he grabs it so tightly that his knuckles turn white. He closes his eyes and counts to ten, trying to calm his breathing.
Just in time before you yank open the passenger seat door and greet him with a broad smile and a loud,
"Heyyy, baby!"
You climb into the seat and lean over to greet him with a sweet kiss on his cheek.
Megumi can't help but reach out to put a hand on the back of your neck, elegant long fingers caressing your skin as he pulls you closer to kiss you on the mouth, a deep possessive kiss, letting you know who you belong to. Hoping that your coworker sees it.
But when he pulls away, Megumi's mask is perfectly in place. Calm, aloof, a soft smile lighting up his pretty face, blue eyes looking deeply into yours as he asks you innocently,
"How was work, sweetheart?"
You sigh and tell him about boring meetings and a workload that is much too high to handle.
He fucks you a bit harder that night, handles you a bit rougher. Harder thrusts, firmer touches. His strong hands capture your wrists, wrap tightly around them, and fix them above your head while Megumi's tall, lean-muscled body presses you down onto the mattress. His face is buried in your neck, groaning softly, whimpering your name and how much he loves you.
He sees the bruises on your wrists at breakfast the next morning, feeling guilt wash over him. Guilt that makes him hug you gently and make your coffee extra good. He breathes tender kisses on your wrists, long black lashes flutter around his dark blue eyes, his voice is low, full of regret,
"It seems I was a bit too rough last night. I am so sorry, darling."
"It's fine, Megumi, please don't worry, baby. I like it when you get so passionate."
Megumi feels the iron grip around his heart loosen. He smiles softly into your hair and kisses the top of your head, wrapping a strong arm around you and hugging you. He likes that you are so much smaller than he is, the way your face rests against his toned chest. The way you snuggle into his strong arms, sighing happily when Megumi hugs you even tighter. The way you seek the safety of his arms and the warmth of his body. The way you trust him so completely.
When Megumi pulls away, he takes your left hand and brings it to his lips to place a lingering kiss on the large sparkling diamond on your wedding ring.
Mine.
Tumblr media
"And then she threw her stuff into a suitcase and just left!"
Your eyes are sparkling excitedly, hands gesturing wildly as you sit across from Megumi at the dinner table, apparently finding great joy in re-telling the newest drama in your friend group.
Megumi doesn't share your excitement. On the contrary, his blood is rushing loudly in his ears. He feels sick. His hand is clutching the steak knife so tightly that it hurts.
He lifts his gaze from the red juices of the medium rare meat building a little sea on the white plate. His blue eyes narrow as he fixes you with a frown,
"And she just threw her marriage away? How long have they been together? Seven years? And she just left him?"
"Megumi! Didn't you listen? He forgot her birthday! And he spent more and more time playing his online games instead of doing things with her! She was frustrated!"
And that was enough to end a marriage?
Megumi gulps hard.
Well, that's how the world ticks, right? That's how people tick. They say they love you, but then they just leave. Promises mean nothing. Words mean nothing. They get forgotten, they get twisted, they get taken back.
Seven years.
Your friend had been with her husband for seven years, and she left him because of minor, unimportant things. Instead of fighting for her love, instead of trying to talk to him and fix things, she picked the easy way and left. Just like the way most people do nowadays.
All those breakups, all those divorces. All those single parents and abandoned kids. All the tabloids are full of celebrities who split up after decades of presenting themselves as the happiest couple ever.
How is Megumi still supposed to trust in love? In you? In your feelings for him?
What if your friends put something into your head? What if one of them voices their doubt about Megumi being good enough for you? What if? What if they give you some crazy idea about looking for someone else who is not as flawed as him?
They already advocate giving up on your partner and acting as if being selfish and throwing relationships away is something one should be proud of and celebrate.
Those people are a bad influence on you. He has to do something about this.
Tumblr media
It's easy.
He calls his cousin Maki, asking her to meet him for lunch, using family business as an excuse. He knows she will not come alone, and of course, he is right. By her side is her girlfriend Nobara, always so chatty, always so gossipy. The perfect person to help him achieve his goal.
Megumi quickly finishes the business talk with Maki, and then it's time to set his plan in motion. A few comments here and there about you feeling down lately because there seems to be drama in your friend group, and naturally, Nobara is all ears, leaning across the table, asking him for more details, grinning broadly as she soaks up the gossip greedily.
He can stir the pot. He can make up lies. He can make them look bad. He can make Nobara become indignant and invested and already typing a text message furiously.
And nothing will ever get traced back to Megumi. No one would ever think he is the type for gossip. He is a very serious and professional man who wouldn't be caught dead indulging in petty things like that. No one will believe Nobara if she mentions Megumi was involved in this.
And the beautiful thing about gossip is that no one ever finds out who started it. Once it gets released into the world, it grows and mutates until it's so messy that it's like it has its own will. No one can tell anymore who said what.
Megumi leaves with a content smile. He set things into motion today. Now, he just has to wait.
It takes three days until he catches you standing in the kitchen, your coffee forgotten, wiping tears off your cheeks and looking miserably up at him as he walks towards you with concerned blue eyes,
"Babe, what's wrong?"
You sniffle against his chest, your warm tears seeping through the thin cotton of his shirt as you tell him about the drama that escalated quickly. False accusations, one of your friends claiming you talked about her behind her back. You apparently said that she was involved in the split up of your other friend because she had an affair with the husband and wanted him for herself. And now all your other friends bonded with that friend, not believing you when you say you never did any of that.
You are crying and clinging to Megumi, sobbing into his shirt,
"They don't want to be friends with me anymore. They kicked me out of the group chat and everything!"
Megumi's arms tighten around you. He knows he is selfish. He knows he is the worst. His heart breaks for you when he feels you shaking in his arms. But he only did what had to be done. He cannot let those bitches put their dangerous opinions in your head. He cannot let anyone come between you and him. He needs you.
He hates himself for causing you this pain. But he can ease it. He can show you that you don't need those women. You already have a husband who loves you and cares for you.
He is your strong shoulder to cry on, offering you his love, his reassurance, and his compassion as he caresses your back soothingly and whispers sweet words to you.
"I am so sorry, babe. You don't deserve that. Please promise me you won't talk to them again. They don't deserve to call themselves your friends after this. And you'll always have me, darling. I am always here for you."
Tumblr media
Megumi hates to be that guy, but he can't stop himself from balling his hands into fists under the table when you tell him about work every evening over dinner. The way your eyes gleam, the way you laugh as you recount the funny conversations you had with your coworkers.
He feels guilty. He knows a good man would be happy for you. But Megumi isn't a good man. And so he sits there stiffly, his fingernails digging painfully into his palms as the jealousy spreads its poison through his blood.
It's not fair that your coworkers get to spend so much time with you. That they have so many inside jokes with you that Megumi simply cannot understand even when you tell him about them. It's not fair that they can make you feel so much. Do you have more fun with them than you have with Megumi?
Probably. He isn't a very fun person. He is too serious, too stern, too controlled. He gulps hard, remembering one incident a year ago when you told him playfully to loosen up a bit. You had smiled and ruffled his hair, but Megumi had felt as if you had stabbed his heart. He had once again felt inadequate. Not enough.
What if you get tired of him? What if you realize that one of your coworkers is a better match for you? That one of them makes you laugh more than Megumi can? That one of them brings more positive energy into your life than Megumi can do?
What if the process of you falling out of love with him and catching feelings for someone else has already started?
Cold fear grips Megumi's heart. He has to do something! You cannot go to work anymore!
But how can he convince you to stay home? It's not like he didn't already try. Megumi is rich. He is the heir of the Zenin family, already a CEO in his mid-twenties. He could easily provide you with everything you need! The moment you were married, he suggested that you could quit your job and become a housewife. He knew lots of women dreamed of this.
But unfortunately, not you.
You had laughed and rubbed his arm, cooing at him how sweet he was. But no thanks, you wanted to go to work. You liked it there, and you wanted to have something for yourself too!
Megumi's alternate plan had been to ask you to work in his company. Wouldn't it be nice to be in his department? Wouldn't it be nice to be married to your boss?
But you turned his offer down with a smile and a sweet kiss.
"That sounds tempting, babe. But I would hate all the gossip and the accusations. You know how people are. No one would take me seriously. They would all think I have special privileges because I am your wife!"
"So what? Let them talk. Who cares what they think?"
"It would make me uncomfortable. Besides, I already have a job I enjoy and really nice coworkers. I know you only mean well, Megumi. But I don't think it would be good if I worked for your company."
So Megumi had to give up.
There is another option, though. An option that would solve all his problems and bind you even more to him: Having a baby together.
Megumi decides right then and there at the dinner table that he has to prioritize this option. His long fingers dance over his phone display, typing a quick message to Yuuji, his best friend and coincidentally a dad of two little twin boys.
He smiles when his friend replies almost instantly. Megumi puts his phone away and looks at you,
"The Itadoris will come over for coffee this Saturday."
Tumblr media
Saturdays are always one of Megumi's favorite days. Saturdays mean you are at home, where you should be, with no work no coworkers. And this Saturday is even better because you are kneeling on the lush carpet in the living room, cooing at two pink-haired baby boys who kick their chubby legs and smile big, adorable smiles at you.
The thing with Megumi's best friend, Yuuji, is that this guy has so much charm and sunshine vibes that he can draw anyone in. And luckily, his babies are exactly the same. The perfect means to what Megumi hopes to achieve. If the Itadori babies can't convince you to become a mom, he doesn't know what else could!
And Yuuji unknowingly plays his part perfectly, too. He is sitting on the floor, laughing and playing with his twins, talking to you about how happy they make him and how amazing his life has been since he became a stay-at-home dad.
"I really enjoyed my work as a firefighter, but it is nothing compared to the joy I feel at home with the twins! This is the best thing that ever happened to me!"
You laugh and tell him he is doing such a good job, but then you add,
"Aren't you getting bored, though? I mean, as a firefighter, you had a high-energy job, with lots of physical activity and all the emergencies, the adrenalin and stuff. I guess being at home must be boring for you at times?"
Itadori shakes his head and smiles that big, toothy smile.
"Nah, I never get bored! Those two little whirlwinds keep me busy! And I can finally learn so many new recipes! I finally have time to cook and bake! And I work out at home or take long runs with the little ones in the stroller, so I am still just as active as before!"
That night, Megumi hugs you from behind and smiles against your neck as he gently strokes your stomach.
"Yuuji's twins are really cute, aren't they? You seemed to be very smitten with them."
For a moment, he thinks he has you. But then you chuckle softly and caress the back of his hand as you tell him,
"They are so cute. And Yuuji is so proud and so happy. It really makes you think, doesn't it? How would our babies look? What would life with them be like? But it's too soon. I want to work for a while longer, at least. I am so close to getting promoted. If I would take a baby leave now, I could forget that. But we still have lots of time, so it's no problem."
Megumi grits his teeth, counting silently to ten before he replies in a carefully neutral tone,
"Yes, you are right, darling. We have all the time in the world."
Tumblr media
Megumi is a bad man, and he hates himself for it, but he can't help wishing all the worst things on your coworker. That guy with the short brown hair and the glasses. Why is it that he is chatting with you every fucking day after work? Megumi can see it all clearly from where he is waiting for you in the car.
What's that guy's problem? Why is he trying to hit on a married woman? Megumi isn't stupid. He can clearly see what those guy's intentions are! The casual touches! The big smiles and loud laughs. The overly nice farewell.
Megumi wants to get out of the car and punch that stupid smile off that idiot's face! But he has to keep cool. He has to act as if everything is fine.
Tumblr media
Nothing is fine.
Megumi is seething with anger. His vision goes blurry as fear swallows him. It's just a short text message, but to him, it's the same as standing in the middle of the apocalypse.
"Hey babe, some of my coworkers are going out for drinks after work tonight. I agreed to join them, so please don't wait for me for dinner. I will eat something at the bar. I love you!"
His hands are shaking as he stares at the phone screen. Should he feign a sickness? He is sure you would rush home to him if he did that. But no, that will only make him look weak. You don't need a weak man. You need a strong guy who takes care of you.
There is no choice.
"Alright, darling. Have fun. Call me when you're finished so I can pick you up. I love you too."
He throws the phone onto the leather couch in his office with an angry growl. He already sees it all in his head. The chill atmosphere of the bar. The dim lights, the cocktails. The alcohol will make your mind cloudy. And your flirty coworker will use that to his advantage and steal what belongs to Megumi!
His whole day is ruined. Megumi storms out of his office, informing his assistant that there is a family emergency, snapping at her to get things managed for him when she tells him he has several important meetings today.
As if any of that is of importance! Stupid nonsense! All that matters is you!
You, who belong to Megumi! You, who is too kind and sweet and naive to realize what your coworker is trying to do!
Megumi drives home too fast, even though he doesn't even know what he can do at home. He strolls restlessly from one end of the living room to the next, breathing heavily as his mind is in a whirlwind of negative thoughts.
Evening comes, and Megumi grabs his car keys and his coat, jogs down to his car, and drives downtown. It's as if some invisible force pulls him here. As if he is some onlooker of a catastrophe that cannot look away. He needs to be there. He needs to see it with his own eyes.
He hides in the shadows outside the bar, something he has always been good at. When you are an abandoned, grumpy child who gets dismissed as a troublemaker, you learn to become friends with the shadows.
No one pays close attention to him. He isn't suspicious. He's just a tall, good-looking man in expensive dark clothes waiting for someone.
Megumi's chest feels heavy as he narrows his eyes and watches through the window. Your little group sits at a table in the middle of the bar. Happy faces, drinks get raised, laughter gets shared. Your eyes sparkle with joy. Megumi's heart clenches painfully. You are so beautiful. On the inside and outside. Everything he has ever wanted.
But you are in the cozy light of the bar, in the warm room, smiling and laughing and being loved by everyone. And Megumi is out here in the dark, in the cold of the night, all alone, someone who gets abandoned, who gets replaced. Someone who loneliness clings to like a curse.
Your coworker with the brown hair and the glasses sits next to you. Of course, he does! He leans closer to you, brushing his shoulder against yours, turning to talk to you, and you throw your head back and laugh, clearly enjoying what he said.
Megumi's hands ball into fists in the pockets of his coat. A decision is made. Megumi will not lose you. He will mold the world into one where you stay with him. He will control the circumstances, so you have no choice but to be by his side. He will erase everyone who wants to take you away from him. The first one to go will be your flirty coworker.
It's a thought that should be concerning. An idea that would terrify others. But not Megumi. He hasn't been scared of things like these for a long time. He was six when his father left. He was a little child and fended for himself for half a year before people found out he and his sister lived all alone. Megumi isn't scared of using his fists or his mind to take people down who try to hurt him. Violence doesn't scare him. The only thing that scares him is losing you.
It takes a week of planning and observing before everything is perfect.
Megumi picks you up from work and drives you home like every day. He kisses you tenderly as he lets you get out of the car in front of your apartment, telling you that he has to go back to the Zenin building because he still has to make some changes to an important business contract. He drives to his office and makes sure several people see him before he sneaks out and drives to another part of the city.
He parks his car in a sidestreet and walks the rest of the way. His heart is beating rapidly, but his mind is strangely clear. He is a man on a mission. A righteous mission. A husband who ensures his marriage will stay happy.
The black leather gloves feel soft on his hands as Megumi jogs through the dimly lit park. He spots his rival after ten minutes. Megumi follows him slowly, blue eyes observing their surroundings carefully. He feels excited. The thrill of the hunt is sending adrenaline through his veins.
Megumi feels grim satisfaction when he tackles the man to the ground behind a group of trees. He doesn't feel any remorse when he brings the knife down in several precise movements. He can't bring himself to see anything wrong with his actions. He hates bad people, and this guy clearly is a bad person if he is trying to steal someone else's wife. He deserves to die!
Megumi feels elation when he watches with cold blue eyes as the life seeps out of the man who wanted to steal you.
His heart feels light when he finally is back in his car after leaving the cold body of his rival lying in a bloody puddle. He whistles a soft tune on the drive home, feeling as if a great weight has been lifted off his shoulders.
He goes home to you, takes a quick shower, and then slips into bed behind your warm body, smiling when you snuggle against him, mumbling his name with so much love. He makes slow love to you, rolling on top of you, gentle, sleepy sex that makes you wrap your legs around him and mewl cutely as he moves on top of you, deep, slow thrusts accompanied by tender kisses.
Tumblr media
You call Megumi at noon the next day when he is in the middle of a meeting. He excuses himself, taking your call to hear your shrill voice telling him that something terrible happened.
And Megumi smiles while he tells you,
"That's horrible, darling. I am coming to pick you up immediately. Please don't go anywhere without me."
He is a good husband, rushing to your workplace to pick up his distraught wife and take her home.
He wraps you in a warm blanket on the couch and brings you tea. He hugs you, pulls you into his strong arms, and tells you he is there for you, tells you that you are safe with him and that he will always protect you.
And you cling to him, crying, scared, and shaken up, burying your face in his chest, snuggling against his firm muscles.
"It's so... It's so crazy and scary. I mean... I have been sitting across from him in the office for several years! We got along so well! I would even say we were friends! And now he... he is... oh god, Megumi! He just went on a run in the park, and someone robbed him and stabbed him! It's like you aren't safe anywhere anymore!"
You hiccup, pressing your face against Megumi's firm chest, your fingers clutching his shirt tightly. He holds you and cuddles you while feeling elated that you need him so bad.
You call in sick for work for three days in a row, and Megumi thinks he has you. You are shaken up, scared by the fact that someone you know got murdered. A terrifying reminder that life outside isn't safe. You could get attacked anywhere at any time.
Megumi pets your hair and strokes your back, telling you to lock the door and snuggle under the blanket with the dogs.
"They will protect you while I'm at work, my love. You are safe here. Just don't leave the apartment. I will be back in a few hours and look after you."
He thinks he did it. He thinks you finally see that it's best to always stay in here. He thinks he can finally rest assured, knowing his sweet wife will only see him and no one else.
But the relief is short-lived.
You get out of bed on the fourth day, smiling bravely and telling Megumi that you feel better again.
"I can't hide away in here forever, Megumi. I have to get back to work."
He punches the wall when you close the bathroom door behind you, cursing under his breath. Why are you doing this to him? Why can't you just let Megumi take care of everything? Why must you be so adamant about standing on your own feet?
Fear is crashing over him again with thick black waves, pulling him under and drowning him in a sea of desperation.
Everything was fine for a few days! You were here, safe and sound, and letting Megumi dote on you! You were only his alone for a few days, and it had felt like the world was finally at peace, that Megumi was finally at peace! He cannot lose this feeling again!
Megumi is an intelligent man, and that is his curse! He isn't one of those naive fools like Itadori, who is, of course, a kind and amazing person, but he is too trusting, always smiling his stupid sunshine smile and not thinking much when his wife leaves the house to go to work all day and meet her friends and coworkers.
Megumi cannot be like that! He knows things! He knows firsthand how unreliable people are! People change their minds all the time. Even those closest to you might leave from one day to the next.
Love doesn't last. Even couples who have been together for decades suddenly cheat on each other and get divorced.
It all comes down to one thing: You cannot trust anyone. Even the most loyal soul might get weak when faced with too much temptation. And why would you stay with someone as flawed as Megumi if you ever get presented with the choice to be with someone who is perfect?
It's not that Megumi doubts your love for him in the here and now. He knows you love him. He frequently reads the texts you send your remaining friends where you swoon about him. He sees how your face lights up with affection when he does all those little acts of service for you. He sees you cry and sob and whine for him almost every night when he makes sure to fuck you so good that he spoils you for any other man.
Yes, you love him. But this is now. What will be in a year? In five? In ten?
Megumi simply cannot bring himself to be as naive as to believe in eternal love and loyalty. His father made sure to show him otherwise. People like Itadori are so clueless, so naive. But not Megumi. He is always prepared to get left behind again.
It's natural. Feelings fade with time, and then it all depends on other circumstances.
Love won't be enough.
He has to make sure you stay with him, not just because you love him because that love can vanish. He has to make sure you are dependent on him. You have to know you cannot just walk away. He needs to make sure you are financially dependent on him. And he has to make sure you don't have anyone else but him. If you have nowhere else to go, you must stay with him.
He slowly unclenches his fists, forcing himself to breathe calmly. He can do this. There must be a way! He already succeeded in isolating you from that friend group he didn't approve of. Now, if you only weren't so stubborn when it comes to work!
Megumi sighs and runs a hand through his unruly black hair. His gaze lands on a patch of color sticking out from under the carpet before the couch. He frowns and walks over, leaning down to inspect it. It's a red pacifier. Yuuji must have dropped it.
Megumi picks it up and holds it between two elegant fingers, turning it thoughtfully from one side to the next.
Maybe there is one more thing he can do.
Tumblr media
It's a good thing he is so skilled with his fingers. It's difficult to manipulate the packaging of your birth control pills, but Megumi took the day off to execute his plan meticulously. He carefully pulls the aluminum foil off the blister packaging, flushes the contraceptives down the toilet, and then replaces them with some mild painkillers that look identical.
It takes some effort to fix the foil again, but Megumi has steady hands, and he is driven by desperation and a firm conviction.
By the end of the day, he holds the manipulated packaging proudly in his hands.
He feels a tiny wave of guilt when he puts it back into your nightstand. But it vanishes again when he reminds himself that he is doing this out of love. He just wants to make sure the two of you stay together. And he knows that even if you are shocked at first, you will learn to embrace the thought of becoming a mother.
You were so happy when you saw Yuuji's twins! You will be even more delighted when it's your and Megumi's baby that you hold in your arms! He is just giving you what you want anyway. A happy family. Megumi and you, your baby, and two dogs! The perfect family everybody wishes for! You will learn to love your new life!
Megumi waits. Of course, he keeps track of your monthly cycle. It's something he has always done. As a good caring husband, he always wanted to know at which times of the month the hormones would make you act a certain way, make you sad, or make you horny. But now it's like a countdown to Christmas or his birthday.
Megumi's eyes follow you all day, excitement tingling in his veins when he kisses you before you leave for work. You have started to ovulate. Tonight, he will breed you.
You both don't get a lot of sleep that night. Megumi pulls you onto his lap after dinner, kissing you deeply, licking into your mouth with deep, demanding kisses while his graceful hands slip under your skirt to rub your clit through your panties, driving you wild on his lap, making you mewl into his mouth and grind needily against him, so wet that you stain his pants.
He smiles when he steers you to the bedroom, his cock throbbing eagerly against his pants. Tonight, he will make you a mommy.
You look so beautiful beneath him, your face sweaty and damp from tears of bliss running down your cheeks, your eyes closed in pleasure, your mouth hanging open in loud moans and needy mewls.
Your legs rest on Megumi's shoulders, your body writhes under him, meeting every deep thrust of his needily. He can feel your cunt twitch around him, can feel how wet you are for him, how it stains the bed sheets under you. He can smell how fertile you are, that unmistakenly sweet, enticing smell your pussy has when you are ovulating. It drives him wild tonight. It makes him fuck you hard and deep, rubbing your clit firmly to make you cum on his cock over and over again, making your orgasming pussy milk him dry.
You are so good for him, such a sweet wife, such a good girl, taking all his seed so deeply into you. And Megumi makes sure to keep it in there. He lies on top of you, pressing you into the sheets, moaning softly, his heart overflowing with love when his lips find yours in a long, tender kiss while your pussy pulses around his spent cock.
He stays inside you until his cock softens and slips out of you, leaving a hot sticky trail of his seed and your cream on your inner thighs. Megumi watches you with heavy-lidded dark blue eyes as he pushes his cum back into you, fingering you thoroughly with his ring finger and middle finger, watching in fascination as your combined juices drip down his long fingers and onto the wedding ring he is wearing.
He smiles and coos at you, full of love and praise, telling you how beautiful you are and how much he loves you, groaning when he feels your pussy tightening around his fingers.
"Yes, princess, you are such a good girl for me. Cum on my fingers, sweetheart. Fuck, you're so beautiful!"
He smiles as he watches you come undone for him, letting him fuck all his warm seed back into you, stuffing you with it, making sure you keep it all inside.
For good measure, he takes you again an hour later, fucking you deep and thoroughly, rolling his hips against you, making his full balls slap loudly against you, giving you all his fertile seed, smiling when he imagines you holding a blue-eyed black-haired baby on your arm, waiting for Megumi when he comes home after work.
He comes so hard that he almost blacks out, and his loud feral moan is even drowning out your needy mewls.
Tumblr media
Megumi watches you wolfishly. He knows your period should have started three days ago. But every time he checks your stack of tampons and pads, he can see that you haven't used any yet.
He feels a glorious satisfaction as he watches you grow more nervous every day. You constantly leave for the bathroom, probably to check whether your period has finally started, only to return with a feverish look in your eyes.
He waits patiently for several days more so as not to arouse any suspicion. Then he casually asks after kissing you goodbye when leaving for work,
"Oh babe, I'm going to grab some things at the drugstore today after work. Do you need anything? I think you are pretty close to that time of the month, aren't you? Do you need tampons or pads?"
He has to bite his lip not to smile when he sees the emotions flickering over your face. Worry, shame, nervousness. Your lips start to tremble, and finally, you spit it all out,
"I... Oh, Megumi! It should have started six days ago! I am so worried! Like I know it can't be. I... I can't be pregnant... I am on the pill! But... but it's so strange! I have never been late!"
He feigns understanding, smiling gently at you and pulling you against his chest, hugging you comfortingly to his tall, lean-muscled body.
"Aww, please don't worry, darling. It will be fine. Maybe you forgot to take a pill? It can happen so fast. Life is hectic."
He can see your eyes widen. It was a good thing to say. You can be pretty chaotic and forgetful. It's easy to cast doubt and make you believe it was your mistake. He can feel you stiffen in his arms. And when you lift your head to look at him, guilt is written all over your pretty face,
"Shit... that's a possibility, yeah. I can be such a distracted idiot! I am so stupid!"
"No, please don't blame yourself, babe. Really, it's ok. Look, we already agreed that we want to have kids someday, right? So, what if it happens a bit sooner than planned? I don't mind at all, darling. I love you, and I will always take care of you and our possible kids. Don't worry."
You blink rapidly as tears gather in your eyes, and Megumi cups your cheek and caresses it tenderly,
"Why don't you take the day off, babe? We can buy some pregnancy tests and see what's going on. And no matter what the tests say, everything will be fine, I promise you. You can always count on me, my love. We will get through everything together."
You nod wildly and smile gratefully at him as tears run down your cheeks, and you throw yourself into Megumi's arms again, letting him comfort you.
"O...ok, Megumi. Thank you, baby. I love you too."
You are so cute like this, nervous and scared, needing Megumi so much. He drives you back home with only one hand on the steering wheel. His other hand is clutched tightly between your cold fingers. A small happy smile tugs at the corners of Megumi's lips. He likes this. He likes being needed by you.
Finally, things will be in his favor. He knows it.
You are a nervous wreck the whole remaining day, pacing the living room restlesssly until Megumi gets in your way and makes you bump against his tall, lean-muscled body, and he pulls you in his arms, reassuring you, giving you all the comfort and love you need.
Megumi sets an alarm for six in the morning so you can take the pregnancy test. He is already awake, unable to sleep with how excited he is when the alarm starts blaring, and you jump out of bed at the first sound of it, shaking a bit as you look at him with big eyes,
"It's time... ok, I'll... I'll take the test now."
And Megumi is there for you, of course. He is the best husband you could wish for. Caring, loving, devoted, reliable. Megumi is someone you can count on. He smiles gently at you and takes your hand.
"You mean, we will take the test now. I am here for you, sweetheart. You aren't alone."
He leads you to the bathroom. He reads the instructions to you and hands you a plastic cup. He leans against the sink and smiles as you pee into the cup, refusing to leave your side even for one minute. A husband and wife can share every moment after all. There is no shame.
You smile sheepishly at him as you walk over to him, and Megumi takes the plastic cup out of your trembling hand.
"You're doing great, darling. Let me do the rest."
He prepares the test and pulls you into his strong arms, letting you hide your face in his firm, muscled chest, breathing in the comforting scent of the shirt he slept in while you wait for the test result.
Megumi strokes your back soothingly. His lips brush over your earlobe as he murmurs to you,
"No matter what the test says, I love you."
The sound of the alarm makes you jump. Megumi is the one who takes the test off the sink with steady fingers. He already knows what it will say.
"Pregnant."
His strong arms catch you when you sway lightly on your feet. His lips press gently against your hair, breathing a soft kiss to your forehead. You cannot see it, but the smile on Megumi's face is the happiest he has ever smiled.
You bury your face in his shirt, your voice sounds muffled, full of tears,
"I am so sorry Megumi! If only I had been more careful! I... oh god, what if I fail at being a mom? And now you will have so much more responsibility too, and it's my fault, and I..."
He silences your tearful ramblings by making you lift your head and capture your lips in a deep kiss, licking the salty taste of your tears out of your mouth. His heart feels like bursting, so exhilarated, so happy. It's lovely to see you so weak. So dependent on him. He loves to be needed.
He cups your cheek lovingly when he pulls away from the kiss. Dark blue eyes look deeply into yours, almost as if he is trying to hypnotize you and drill his words into your brain,
"You will be a wonderful mom, and I will gladly take on this new responsibility. I love you, and I love our child. I will always provide for you, darling. I will always be yours, and you will always be mine."
He finally has everything he ever wanted. A diamond ring is sparkling on your finger. Your belly will soon be swollen with his baby, showing everyone his claim on you. You will stay at home from now on, far away from anyone who could possibly steal you away from your husband.
And if you decide to return to work one day, Megumi will just knock you up again. He is obviously quite skilled at fucking a baby into you, and he will do it as often as the circumstances require it.
Yes, Megumi finally has everything he ever wanted.
You.
Mine. Mine. Mine. Forever.

→ summary: every human being needs someones touch.
→ warning: mainly fluff, little cursing.
→ a/n: this is the first post of my valentines week special. so, happy valentines week to everyone ♡ make sure to treat yourself to something delicious and stay hydrated! ♡
here's the masterlist to the event ^^
enjoy!♡
──── ⋆˚࿔ soobin
soobin who doesn't remember the last time someone touched him like this. not because they had to, (because of fitting or anything relatable to his work) but because they wanted to out of love. the feeling of someone's love with a simple touch almost makes him cry out, melting into your touch the first time you hold him. his whole body going slack against yours as he lets himself relax in your arms. he furrows his eyebrows slightly when he feels you swiping your fingers through his hair, only saying a small please continue as he snuggles into your neck more feeling your warm soft touch. "no one ever held me like this before"
──── ⋆˚࿔ yeonjun
when he started his idol career, he didn't think he'd find true love. always focusing on his dreams, on his members and family. love wasn't the first thing on his mind, but when you came into the picture everything changed. he craved for your attention of every hour of the day, texting you constantly to know you are doing fine and happy. somewhere in his mind and heart, it calmed him to know you are safe. when his schedule let him, he spent every time of his with you, always having an arm around you or his hands caressing yours in his palm. yeonjun usually carefully chooses the people he lets in his personal space, and you are one of them. it was rare to see him act so boldly or affectionate in public, but whenever you feel his hands swiping the hair out of your face of fixing something on your dress always makes you blush uncontrollably. you often think he just put an arm around me and my knees are already giving out i'm so pathetic but in all truthness this is your boyfriend's little game. "i just wanted to see you crave my touch as bad as i do with yours."
──── ⋆˚࿔ beomgyu
he spends almost every free time of his hovering around you. not stalker like, but rather like a curious friend. because he is your friend, and it nearly kills him. he wants you to notice him, to give him a fucking chance, and when you do he basically disappears for days. showing up with a smile days after, saying that he was preparing for your first date and when you see what he has been doing you feel guilt building up on you for not dating him sooner. beomgyu craves your love and touch like its a drug, finding every excuse to touch you. either pulling out a chair for you and touch the base of your back slightly to secure you sit down safely, or teasingly pulling on your hair whenever he has the chance. if he's really down bad for you, he even pulls your hand into his lap and examines your lifeline. "this definately says I'll be in your life for forever"
──── ⋆˚࿔ taehyun
taehyun mostly looks forward to nights.he knows you are home waiting for him, already done with work and busying yourself until he's done at the company. his heart beats the closer he gets to his apartment, because he already knows what is going to go down. he practically feels your hug already, your arms wrapped around him to pull him further into your shared home. he loves cuddling with you on the couch or on your bed, his face smushed against your chest to slowly lulling him into a deep sleep. his heart gives up mid-day when he suddenly remembers how you feel in his arms, wanting nothing more but to go home sooner and be with you. it's like his body psysically craves for you, melting into you the minute his body hits the bed yet again after a long day. there are nights when you have to wait for him so long that you eventually fall asleep, but taehyun always wraps his arms around you to feel like he's home again. "I'm home baby" he then murmurs like you can hear him in your sleep.
──── ⋆˚࿔ hueningkai
kai, someone who always puts his focus on his work suddenly gets annoyed when his balance is wavered. to the point he can't even go to practice without thinking of you, your face suddenly appearing in his mind in the middle of rehearsals. touchstarved kai, who thinks he can get you out of his mind if he works out enough, but this isn't the case. because the minute he sees you again he has to have your hands on him, missing your touch and the way you melt into his body when hugging him. he's just so madly in love. "i needed to remember how your hug feels like" says in a whisper as you basically feel him crush your bones.

bound by shadows — caleb
warnings — yandere caleb, written before i read the main story and his myth, saw some quotes on other apps, slight angst, no fluff
notes — knock knock its user raffswife here my old account is broken for some reason lets hope its not the same here </3 tags: @aomiiine
Tumblr media
caleb doesn’t understand why you’re so afraid of him.
he’s keeping you safe from people who want to hurt you, from those who would use you for the aether core inside your body. his house is the safest place in skyhaven — no one can reach you here, not without caleb’s permission, at least.
so why are you cowering on your bed, looking at him with those fearful eyes? why are you leaning away from his touch? he wants to take care of you, not hurt you.
“caleb… please let me go,” you beg for the tenth time today, refusing to take the food he’s given you. “i promise i’ll come back when my mission is done- just… please let me go outside.”
“can’t do that, princess,” caleb murmurs quietly. “you know how much i hate it when you go out by yourself. besides, didn’t i tell you how dangerous it is right now? people are coming after you, pipsqueak.”
pipsqueak. the nickname you used to love as a little girl now sends shivers down your spine. you hate it when caleb gets like this — possessive and obsessed with you. sure, having him around keeps the weird guys away, but that doesn’t mean you’re okay with him stopping you from going out and meeting your friends.
he gets ridiculously jealous. the first time he saw you hanging out with a male coworker — who, mind you, has a girlfriend (now fiancée) — he wouldn’t let it go for weeks.
it doesn’t make sense. what happened to the sweet boy you’ve known since you were five? the boy who used to cook your favorite meals when you returned from missions? the boy who promised he’d do anything to make you happy?
“caleb, i don’t want to be locked up in here forever!” you exclaim, pulling at his uniform, desperation laced in your tone. “i have a life outside of this. i-i want to be able to work, have fun, and live my normal life again. i don’t need you to-”
“you don’t need me? is that what you think?” caleb grabs your wrist, pulling it away from his uniform. “tell me. what do you need? we can go back to linkon if that’s what you want. if you want to return to our past, we’ll rebuild our old house and move in together.” his grip on your wrist tightens. “and if one house isn’t enough, i’ll build you a whole maze. i’ll decorate it with everything you could ever want,” he says, bringing a hand to your face and gently cupping your left cheek. “it will be the most beautiful, stunning garden you’ve ever seen.”
“caleb, you can’t just-”
“no one will ever find you again. i’ll protect you forever,” caleb cuts you off, his eyes showing no room for argument. you don’t even know what to say. caleb is terrifying when he (or the toring chip) acts like this. it doesn’t matter if he insists he’s the same old caleb from your childhood — he just doesn’t feel like your caleb anymore.
“caleb…” you whisper, tears spilling down your cheeks. you don’t know what else to say. it’s too overwhelming when he becomes like this. his touch, words, basically everything about him is suffocating.
“shh,” caleb says, gently wiping the tears from your eyes. “don’t cry, pipsqueak. you know i hate it when i see you cry.” he smiles softly as your tears begin to dry. “i promise you, once everyone who wants to hurt you or use you for your aether core disappears, you’ll finally be safe.”

Mama
Stepmom!Wanda x Reader
Summary: After a few months of staying with Wanda, she decides to take you on a vacation, but overwhelming feeling boil to the surface and get in the way.
CW: Stepmother/stepdaughter, unrequited love, mommy issues
Word Count: 2.8k
A/N: Happy Mother's Day! This took me forever, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Thank you to @wandamaximoffsbadgirl for the help while I was trying to finish this up.
Chapter 1 of Mama
Before Wanda, the term “Mama” had always been a sore spot for you. It was a word that sort of seemed to highlight a wound, a gaping hole inside of you. “Mama” was an absence: not only a thing you could not have, but also a thing you could not know. Even in your mind, which had grown so used to mothering itself, you could not conceptualize a Mama.
You could only glue together bits and pieces of women you had admired throughout your life. You liked the way the after school lady braided your hair. You liked that your neighbor let you pick flowers from her garden. You liked your friend's mom’s muffin recipe. You liked your 11th grade English teacher’s soothing voice and soft smile.
But the flimsy fragments of kind women could not fill the mama shaped hole in your chest. Because, at the end of the day, there were still no soft arms to run into. There were still no gentle hands patching up your scraped knees or neatly folded notes in the bottom of your lunchbox.
That is, until there was Wanda.
Suddenly, “mama” had a meaning again. It was no longer a word of absence or distant fantasies. It was a word of admiration and love and the absolute certainty that you were safe and cared for.
You sat on Wanda’s lap, anxiously fidgeting with her rings. You were allowed to do things like this with Wanda, sit in her lap and play with her rings like a nervous child. It wasn’t frowned upon or chided as a child’s habit. Instead, Wanda gently wrapped her arm around your waist, splaying the hand you weren’t playing with across your stomach. “What’s wrong, angel?”
You shrugged. “I’m nervous. For our trip tomorrow.” You and Wanda had decided on what she called a “girl’s weekend” this week. You hadn’t done a lot of travelling with Wanda. You hadn’t done a lot of travelling, period. But Wanda had planned a trip special for the two of you in… Pennsylvania? She promised to make it a low pressure trip. It was just over a three day weekend, so you didn’t want to do anything too energy intensive. You did have to go back to class on Monday.
She pulled you back against her chest and kissed the crown of your head. “There’s nothing to worry about, baby. I’ll take care of everything.”
“I know. But…” you stammered, turning back to face her. “what if… I don’t know… you know that sometimes I get to not feeling good, and I’m not always up for going out….” You had a really sensitive and unpredictable stomach. You had a tendency to get sick from eating random things, or even nothing at all. It had always been the bane of your existence when it came to plans like this. You dreaded having to drop out of things at the last minute because you started to feel sick all of the sudden. Everyone, even the people who acknowledged you couldn’t help it, was always so annoyed with you when it happened. You could hardly blame them, though, it was terribly inconvenient to have your well thought out plans so consistently wrecked by the same issue over and over again. Wanda hadn’t gotten annoyed with it yet, but you were sure that it would only be a matter of time.
She sighed empathically. She was more than familiar with your health issues and your insecurities around them. She also knew there was nothing exactly she could tell you to make them go away. All she could do was show up again and again, every time you felt sick and needed her. She pressed another kiss to your head. “Then we’ll curl up in bed and watch Full House reruns until you feel better,” she reassured softly. “I know I wanted to surprise you, but…” she crooned, leaning forward and resting her chin on your shoulder, draping her arms around your waist, “I’d like to remind you I planned this trip with you in mind. I know you well enough to know that a weekend full of grand plans and action packed adventure isn’t really your speed.” She rubbed your forearms, gently caressing them up and down. “I’m not taking you to Pennsylvania because I just love Pennsylvania. I’m taking you on a trip because I want to spend a weekend with you, even if that’s just in a hotel bed.”
You took both of her hands in yours and leaned your head back onto her shoulder. “Thank you,” you swallowed quietly. You turned your head to nuzzle her cheek. You weren’t used to someone going so far out of their way to customize something special just for you.
“Of course, baby,” she smiled. “Anything for my special girl.” She kissed your temple and whispered in your ear. “Bring a bathing suit.”
***********
The “hotel” Wanda mentioned actually turned out to be more of a resort. It was right up your alley with a mixture of genuinely nice, elegant features and kitschy, over the top opulence. It was technically a couple’s resort that went really overboard with the Valentine’s Day-esque theme. The lobby and halls all had bright red carpet with gold accents. There were hearts everywhere, from the carpet to the curly trim leading up to the ceiling. It was just absurd enough to be funny rather than an odd place for your stepmother to take you on a trip.
The kitschy opulence only increased as you made your way to your room. The room was unlike anything you’d ever seen before. In fact, “room” wasn’t even the word you’d use to describe it. You walked into a sort of small lounge area with a loveseat, an armchair, and a small tv. But the most notable feature was the wall directly across from the door. It was made entirely of mirrors aside from what appeared to be a giant coupe glass. There was a small doorway behind the mirror that led to a staircase up to the top of the glass. You stepped into the center of the glass, which was about the size of a hot tub. You were shocked to see it had a drain and a faucet.
“Is this a bathtub?” you gasped excitedly.
Wanda giggled and nodded, looking up at you from the lounge. “A jacuzzi. But yes, it is.”
Continuing down the hallway, you found the bedroom. It was a massive, circular bed with a mirror on the ceiling. The white sheets were littered with red and pink rose petals. You jumped on to the bed, sending the rose petals flying. Wanda laughed from the doorway.
“So? What do you think?” she asked, a slight nervous lilt in her voice. She realized how odd it may seem, to bring her stepdaughter to a couple’s resort, but it seemed like the perfect place to take you. It would have more than enough entertainment for the next two days, but it didn’t require you to go out and do things that may drain you. Most of the entertainment was localized to the resort, if not in the room itself. There was a rooftop bar, a few restaurants, a small arcade, a big pool, and even a putt putt course.
“I love it!” you giggled.
Wanda smiled, pointing to the glass door on the other side of the bedroom. “You haven’t even seen the best part.”
You walked over to the door, opening it to reveal a room made almost entirely of glass, overlooking the beautiful forest that surrounded the resort. The room was relatively small, but in the center there was a small, heart-shaped pool.
You gasped. “Is this just ours?”
She nodded. “Just for you and me.”
You threw yourself into her, smiling dopily. “Thank you, mama. Truly, this is… magnificent. Exceeding all expectations.”
She squeezed you tight and kissed the top of your head. She took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of your coconut shampoo. “Anything for you, my darling,” she said with a smile.
You walked to the window, looking out over the beautiful resort property. There was a small forest, a lake, and a larger outdoor pool. You put your hand to the window, gasping in awe. Wanda came up behind you, wrapping her arms around your waist. She trailed her hand up your arm, drawing your hand back to your own waist. She rested her chin on your shoulder. “I was thinking we do seafood tonight?” she suggested. You loved seafood. “We could doordash it. Have it brought straight to the room.”
You cupped her cheek, nuzzling her face against yours. “That sounds lovely,” you hummed pleasantly.
She kissed your temple. “You want to wash up? Then we can spend the evening in our pajamas, and watch something on the television. You can pick out something on Netflix or youtube.”
You giggled. “You know me so well.”
It didn’t surprise you to find the shower was just as spacious and luxurious as the rest of the hotel room. It had three shower heads so two people could shower at the same time without leaving anyone out of the water. It made for a heavenly showering experience, even just for one person.
You put on your favorite silky pajamas, drying out your hair and clearing out of the bathroom so Wanda could shower.
You laid prone on the giant bed, staring up at the ceiling mirror while you waited on Wanda. You couldn’t stop smiling, still giddy about the absurdly fancy room and the carefully chosen resort. Your preference for more relaxed activities was frequently overlooked when it came to vacations. It’s a large part of the reason you hated traveling. You hated feeling like dead weight in groups of high energy people who wanted to explore and do as much as they could possibly squeeze into a short period of time. It made it so trips were a thing of over exhaustion and stretching yourself too thin rather than a source of joy.
But Wanda didn’t put your preferences and needs in a secondary category that she had to work around. She took them in stride, working with them rather than around them. She wanted to prove that it was completely possible to have a good vacation that catered to your easy going nature. And she succeeded.
“Penny for your thoughts?” she asked, getting out of the shower and drying her hair with a towel in the doorway. She threw the towel in the hamper and came to sit on the bed next to you.
You scooted closer to her, resting your head on her lower stomach “I’m just… happy. Grateful. You did an excellent job to find this place.”
She smiled down at you, carding her fingers through your hair. “I’m really glad you like it,” she said in a low voice. “I was a little nervous, honestly. I know a couples resort is an… odd pick. But I know you like it best when it’s just the two of us. And, well, there’s really no better place for two people to be alone together. Plenty of… privacy.”
You shrugged nonchalantly. “Yeah, I guess they don’t make a lot of self-contained resorts for mothers and daughters to hang out alone, huh?”
She chuckled. “That they do not.”
“It’s okay. I think we can handle a couple rose petals and shoddy sex jokes,” you joked and shifted to lay next to her.
She giggled, tucking your hair behind your ear while she admired your giddy smile. She rubbed your chin. “I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself.”
There was a long moment of silence while the two of you stared at each other with wide smiles. You had so much joy and love in your heart. And then, something in your brain short circuited.
There were supposed to be categories in my mind that differentiated between different types of love. The way you loved your family is different from the way you loved your friends, which is different from the way you loved your romantic partner and so on. You loved Wanda as a mother, but you didn’t exactly know how to love a mother. There wasn’t a category for this thing you were feeling. There was just love. So you did what you knew how to do when you loved someone. You leaned forward and kissed her.
And she kissed you back, for a moment. It was more out of shock than anything. But the moment her mind registered what was happening, she pulled away, pushing gently against your sternum. She opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again. There was a long moment before she started again. “Honey… we… I…” she stammered, unsure of what to say or where to start.
You didn’t let her sit in the discomfort long, though. As soon as the paralyzing shock of what’d you’d done wore away, you shot upwards and out of the bed, making a b line for the door.
“Sweetheart… wait…” she said, sitting up to try and stop you. Grab you before you get away. Anything to keep you from leaving. But she wasn’t fast enough. By the time she was on her feet, you were already through the door.
You didn’t know where you were going. The hallways of the hotel were disorienting without any clear signage or direction. The walls, previously hilarious and gaudy, were now overwhelming and suffocating. The red and gold patterned carpet seemed to stretch on infinitely, repeating over and over again with the same diamond shapes under your feet no matter how fast or far you ran. You finally found a stairwell, one that was clearly not meant for guest use, and you rushed down the stairs. Unlike the highly stylized hallways and elevators, the stairwell was a poorly-lit, echoey cement chamber that twisted downwards further than you could see. You only stopped when you hit a dead end: a locked door that presumably led into the basement. You scrambled under the final flight of stairs, tucked your knees to your chest, and sobbed.
You ruined it. You ruined everything. You’d spent your entire life searching for something to fill the mom-shaped hole in your heart, and you just happened to find the greatest woman in the entire world. She’d given you everything you could ever want and more, made you feel whole in ways you’d never dreamed of, and you repaid her with a paraphilic, pseudo-incestous kiss.
You heard the door click open from the top floor, the sound echoing like a gunshot down the stairwell. Then, her voice: “Y/N? Y/N are you in here?” She sounded panicked, out of breath like she’d run through every corridor in the building looking for you.
You would have stayed silent, if you could have, but the flat concrete walls of the stairwell amplified every choked cry by 10. You could already hear her running down the steps. She found you tucked in the back corner under the last flight of stairs, trembling and shaking with the effort of staying quiet.
“Oh baby,” she sighed, kneeling down beside you and wiping the hair from your wet cheeks. “Come here.” She sat cross legged against the wall next to you and pulled you into her lap, gathering your quivering body up into her arms. She kissed your head, resting her chin on top of it while she rocked you back and forth.
You wanted to protest: tell her to go away and wait for you back in the room, but you couldn’t. You just cried harder and harder until your body was heaving with the effort. “I’m sorry,” you sobbed, muffled by the fabric of her pajama shirt. “I’m so so sorry.”
“It’s okay, baby,” she soothed, running her hand up and down your spine. “It’s okay. I understand it was just an accident. It happens sometimes. Our bodies get confused and our feelings spill out in ways we don’t mean. I understand, angel. I know that’s not how you feel about me.”
You swallowed, choking down a sob. It didn’t come as a surprise that Wanda forgave you so easily, but her words twisted up your insides. Maybe because you didn’t think you deserved them, or worse. Maybe you knew, somewhere deep inside of yourself, that they weren’t true. What you had done wasn’t some knee jerk reaction that held no meaning or reflected nothing about how you felt towards her. No. You didn’t kiss her by mistake. You kissed her because you wanted to. Because you loved her.
“And what if…” you stammered, too upset to stop yourself. “What if it is? What if that is how I feel about you?”
Wanda’s hand froze on your back, and she stopped rocking. Her entire body went taut like a bow string about to snap. Then she sighed, relaxing and continuing her movements. She kissed your head again, swallowing hard before whispering into your hair. “Then we’ll figure that out too,” she said finally. “We’ll figure that out too.”
