Starbound: Scavenge for Survivors - a humans are space orcs fic in the form of Xisuma picks up some aliens and goes running through the cosmos. Also in this series is Starbound: Savage (Forgotten Conquest) although if you plan to read the first, I would recommend not reading it until you get to a certain point in the other fic!

TAXI! [Totally and Xisumally Insane] - college dropout Xisuma runs a taxi service to stay afloat, but some odd people inadvertently become regulars of his.

Well, Well, Look Who’s Inside Again - Ex is unbanned from the Void in a really bad state. Oh and can’t remember anything. A lot of angst ensues :)

Love Me Like I’m Dead - Xisuma whump. There’s more to it and it’s extremely good I love it so much, but that’s the most basic summary.

Skin and Bones - febwhump from the same author as love me like I’m dead! Have to have an acc to view but a lot of the same themes and it’s really good ^^

Curiosity and their Consequences. - Cub realizes that the admin has never shared things about his own past. So what happens when he goes digging?

Potion of Forget This - After Tango bans the saturated soups and honey bottles from the lobby of his decked out game, a few of the Hermits start mixing soups and potions! Xisuma mixes a soup for one of his experiments. This time, it wasn’t just some funny effect.

cosmology - a series! Really love their world building and admin headcannons! The first one is post season 8, the second is set in season 10

in your human bound au you mentioned that Wanda has a human job. can you go into more detail?

Wanda started working as a recepionist when Peri was still a baby. Truth be told, she and Cosmo don't need the money. They had worked as Godparents for centuries and saved up enough to last them through Peri's college years, at the very least.

At some point Wanda realized that it doesn't make much sense for two middle age folks to unemployed, especially with a young child. So Wanda deiced that she would be the one to go back to work while Cosmo is a stay-at-home dad.

Wanda’s feelings towards her job are fairly neutral and considers it to be much easier than Godparenting (though that is what she prefers) but that's more due to a lack of emotional labor. One thing she does like though is all the office drama she overhears which she then relays to her husband.

Special-Toons Introduction

Hey! Been a bit! Decided to type up a proper introduction to this AU. I do have an intro over on Tiktok, but I feel that it doesn't do the story justice. Without further ado, let's get into it!

In this AU, every toon has been created with a power tailored to them, known as "specialties." These specialties manifest themselves in a multitude of ways, being specific to and behaving around the nature of each toon.

While most openly display their specialties, some prefer to keep theirs hidden or use them when the time calls for it. Most toons starting out are unaware of what their specialty is, but by the starting point of this story most already have theirs figured out.

Before the events of Special-Toons, GardenView was a multipurpose establishment that experienced a sudden rise and fall in popularity, especially in the 1990s. Founded by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen, the GardenView Entertainment Center hosted a variety of different attractions including a theater, diner, pool, and gift shop that was open to the public as well as a production studio, warehouse, and labratory further underground away from public eye.

In 1994, Arthur discovered the first instances of toon specialties and decided to report these findings to Delilah. With this newly-obtained information, Delilah would manage and oversee for the next 2 years a series of tests and experiments known as the Ichor Operation.

The fall of GardenView occurred in summer 1996, mere weeks after a disagreement between Delilah and Arthur. With an unstable entity breaching containment and wreaking havoc, an evacuation attempt (appropriately named "Doomsday") was made of all the staff and personnel though the success of said evacuation is still unclear.

The toons beyond this day were left to fend for themselves within the remains of the GardenView Center.

In this story, we follow the rookie toons Razzle & Dazzle as they attempt to navigate their way through the toon-refurbished GardenView Center in the year 2011. Being fairly new to the world they've been placed in, they must rely on each other as they interact with various toons to try and make sense of how their wacky world works. As their story progresses, they'll uncover dark mysteries and unveil deeper secrets whilst guarding their lives from perilous foes.

Though the story is mostly centered around the twin masks, the perspective will sometimes shift to show the viewpoint of other toons (ex. Glisten, Sprout, Astro, etc.).

Prologue

A fic based on my friends and mua ramble's about getting isekai'd in Linked Universe

Rewriten after the 2022 version of Chained Hivemind ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

The Hivemind was chilling on call, having decided to watch one of the dear boomers of the server play Mad Father, which was fun, if you ignored the other chaos that was both happening in the VC and the can’t-voice chat, but hey, for now, things were going fine and no crimes were being committed (yet.)

Well, things stopped going fine suddenly, because from one moment to another, Candy’s voice stopped being heard on the VC, the same could be said for everyone else, suddenly, Shaunti, Cuckie, Bean, Li, Chill, Nilo, Fruit, and Puddle were no longer talking on vc, their profiles off on the call, and then Raijin, Cosmo, Bestie, Honey, Rosie and Silver stopped writing on the chat. The only thing each of them was feeling at the moment was something pulling at their chest and the sudden feeling of passing out, and now, their rooms were void of their presence, only the devices they were using moments before could be found now.

Suddenly this common but not so common group of friends appeared in the sky, somewhere, unfortunately not in a place where the fall would be nice, more like a place where the fall would kill them, but hey, at least if they died it wasn’t gonna hurt much, right?. But for now, once they all noticed the air, it was when the screaming started.

Now that they were close to the floor, they could see where they would fall, and since the Universe hated them, they ended up in a Lake since the gods also hated them, they were no less than 20 meters from falling through a waterfall, that would most probably kill them since most of them did not have the strength or the appropriate clothes at the (hey their clothes got changed with magic les go!) nevermind, they only didn’t have the strength to swim away from the waterfall.

"I'm gonna die." Bestie tried their best to keep their head above the water, but with so strong the currents were, they decided to just pull themselves closer to Bean and began using them as a lifesaver.

 "I think Shaunti fainted you guys." Fruit was trying to help, but as one of the youngest of the server, they couldn’t do much at the moment, except try to not drown.

"My dog paddle will not save me from this." Cosmo was able to say before ending underwater, Candy having to come to their aid and help them keep themselves from drowning.

Most of this didn’t work since most of the group ended up underwater. Meanwhile, a certain group of heroes saw the group fall into the water and also saw them struggle to try and stay away from the waterfall. Most of the Heroes were surprised at that except Time and Twilight, who looked way too calm at seeing the group, but the others didn’t question it assuming they were trying to see how to help this group of strangers.

“So are we going to help them or….?” Sky said, still a little stunned about what was happening in front of him, not knowing what logical explanation could well explain what was happening.

“As strange as this is, we should Sky, except those two, they look like they are already safe” Warriors pointed close to them, to what looked to be two of the people of that peculiar group, both of them having black hair, one having it long and in a ponytail, the other one so short it barely covered their ears.

“Well we better go help them before any of their friends die” Calamity started to walk towards them, the rest of the group following suit behind him, stopping suddenly once they heard one of them talk.

“Rosie don't you dare your Mexican ass to die, who will help me beat the shit out of Ko otherwise” Silver whaled, his hands gripping onto Rosie’s clothes, shaking them and trying to wake them up, meanwhile Rosie looked pale and barely breathing.

“What?” Wind let out the question out loud, making the group gain the attention of Silver, who stopped shaking Rosie and tried to hide his friend behind him, while also trying to look intimidating towards the newcomers.

“One more step towards us and I will find a way to leave you all without balls” Silver muttered, his grip on Rosie tightening, while still staring towards the chain.

Legend rolled his eyes at that, walking away from them and going towards the water, deciding to help the ones that were drowning instead of dealing with what he thought to be a very sassy gremlin, the others followed behind him, only Time and Calamity staying behind to help the two black haired humans. Twilight looked especially distressed like he was looking for someone.

“It's fine we are here to help you,” Time said, trying not to set off Silver, who had decided to look towards their friends, seeing how Fruit was close to drowning, considering that they were barely floating while grabbing Shaunti, who was still passed out.

“So you are saying that your group was doing something together, then suddenly passed out and when a lot of you woke up, you were falling from the sky?” Legend looked at Candy with mistrust, not believing the words of the girl, she looked like she was hiding something (she was but it was none of his business)

"I know that sounds hard to believe but it's true. You saw us fall from the fucking sky did you not?" Candy looked at Legend and Time because they were the ones to ask her the questions.

“You can believe what you want, but falling from the fucking sky wasn’t funny and then falling into freezing water was less funny, but I stand by what I said and ur fucking opinion couldn’t be less important to me” Candy looked like she was fuming, glaring slightly at Legend and then looking back at her arms, where she was trying to dry Fruit, that was half sleep and sneezing a lot.

Legend gave the glare back, ignoring the side eye that Time was giving him because of how rude he was being, his gaze left the pink-eyed girl and went towards the others that were dispersed around the camp, everyone in what appeared to be their own little world.

Twilight was fussing over a girl that was called Shaunti (if he remembered correctly), which was honestly strange for him, considering he rarely got near any girls, Legend didn’t linger a lot in that and continued looking at the others.

Wild was preparing food with someone called Raijin, while First and Chill were near them, talking to each other and laughing a bit at whatever they were saying to each other.

The Vet just rolled his eyes and looked over where the rest of the outlander's group and the chain were, each of them in their little groups and doing things.

Wind was pestering Cloud and Honey, asking them a lot of questions about where they came from, and other things, also clinging to Nilo’s arm, swinging it around a bit, trying to annoy the older one.

Other persons of the group, Puddle, Cuckie, and Cosmo, if he recalled, were together, the two first trying to wake up Cosmo since they passed out after almost drowning.

Li, Bestie, and Bean were with Hyrule, checking the injuries the first 3 had since they had gotten a bit violent in the water while trying to save each other, so Hyrule wanted to make sure they didn’t have any lasting injuries.

Legend realized the other members of that peculiar friend group were giving the cold shoulder to one of their friends. The guy also looked uncomfortable, not daring to meet the eyes of the other almost as if he knew they were going to do something to him (not that Legend cared, he didn’t even know that guy's name). 

And finally, the one that had screamed and threatened them, Silver was with Rosie, giving the other nasty loose when they suggested they should take a break instead of being so protective over Rosie, Calamity was near them, checking they were fine from time to time.

Legend let out a sigh, already knowing that the others wouldn't want to leave this group alone and that he could say bye to the few calm moments the chain had.

Fairly OddParents

I'm working on a buffer for Origin of the Pixies and Frayed Knots chapters so they can alternate during the war. At the moment I'm posting content for other fandoms, but once the buffer is ready, these will roll out weekly. Hopefully by summer.

- Origin is caught up and ready for the war meeting next chapter, so we're just wrapping up Anti-Cosmo's school and relationship drama in Knots :) - We're in the era of 2016 draft chapters, so it's a combo of "Lots of stuff is already written" and "Lots of stuff needs to be updated."

Origin and Knots will update on Fridays when the time is right (alternating weeks).

The 130 Prompts wrapped up Arc 2 in December and is on hiatus.

If you missed the Arc 2 finale, check out "Grudge"- It's about Happy Peppy Gary and Crocker striking a dangerous deal and I think it's cute :)

Ideally, I'd like to finish the whole Come What May draft before I post more chapters (so we don't have more of these long lurches between chapters), and Reedfilter Rules is in a similar boat.

Origin and Knots are my priority, but once Come What May starts, I'd like to do weekly or bi-weekly updates until it's done.

Factor It In - I'm very happy with how the story has come out so far. It's fully outlined, but this is a "serious and fluffy" story and I've been on a "silly and angsty" streak lately, so the mood isn't there.

- I'd like to circle back to it soon, but don't want to post more chapters until I have a nice buffer. - I'd like to post again in autumn 2024 and keep up weekly updates for several months. Origin and Knots are higher priority, but I really like this story and look forward to more.

I have some WordGirl one-shot drafts I've been sitting on for months. I haven't been satisfied with them enough to post, but you might see them soon as I finalize them. There's no schedule for these, but they include:

- Dog's Life Session 2 will end with Chapter 30. I've finished up to Chapter 28 and just need to tweak the remaining chapters. It will then be on hiatus for a few months while I work on the Session 3 buffer and other projects.

Edit - Session 2 will actually be 37 chapters, so another month

Expecting 4 to 5 months of hiatus from regular updates with some intermission chapters a few weeks apart (Full moon arc, my beloved). I have 'fics I look forward to posting (including new multi-chapters that already have nice buffers and will post weekly), so there will be plenty of MCYT content, but it seemed wise to leave Dog's Life on break to avoid burnout. I hope you enjoy these new stories! When Dog's Life returns, it'll be with weekly updates for several months as per usual :)

My "first half of 2024" goal is to close out as many of my existing MCYT multi-chapters as I can. Thank you for your patience with multi-chapters that have slow updates- I plan to finish them soon :)

I recently completed For Sale: Bird Wings (Never Worn) with weekly updates and am on track to finish One and a Half Birds with weekly Friday updates.

After this, I would like to finish the last 2 to 3 chapters of Criminal Experience (which has always had Friday updates as well). I don't want to post the next chapter until I nail down the story's end, so there's been a delay, but I'm glad I've wrapped up other multi-chapters and I look forward to finishing this soon.

After this, I plan to post MCYT content Tuesdays and Sundays, leaving Fridays for my other fandoms.

At the moment, Dog's Life for 7 more weeks. Session 2 ends with Chapter 30 on April 9th.

I've started new multi-chapters while chasing inspiration bursts, but I held back from posting them, so now I have buffers for those. I look forward to sharing them throughout 2024. Two notable ones are:

- Chalaza - Quick story about Martyn arriving in New Star Station. Bdubs voice study, some practice writing short scenes, and this is the story that helped me nail down pixel person anatomy. ^ Highlights include Bdubs trotting around with Martyn's dissolved soul in a fishbowl and regaling Etho with tales of how the Phantom Dragon carries phantom hybrids in her mouth. Also, Martyn hides under Etho's couch for 4 days. - Herobrine's Guide to the Between Dimension - A meta story about my Between lore, hybrid anatomy, and hybrid culture. No plot, but I think it's fun.

These are expected to post Tuesdays while Dog's Life is on break :)

What's on Sundays?

At the moment, nothing- I'm posting on Fridays (weekly updates to One and a Half Birds for the next several weeks).

I've also got a draft called "Scar's Castle" that's about Grian doing chores during 3rd Life... we'll see if that turns out nice.

Now that Secret Life is over, I've been able to do more worldbuilding and story planning for Neighborhood Watch AU. I plan to post some one-shots soon. Highlights include:

"Goodchild Oscar" - Oscar Goodchild's lovely parents put out a hit on his soulmate. He drags Grian around the Hearts Club Ball in his attempts to thwart it. Title's subject to change, but this is a fun one :) "They Never Found the Desert" - Local Green Life parrot can't get Red Life soulmate motivated for anything. Desperate times call for desperate measures. "Ethograms, Etho Slab, and Something About Ethics (Probably)" - Joel studies wolves... and the single(?) dad who keeps coming around with his kids.

I've also been working on the big multi-chapter for this universe, which centers around the Clocker family: Arsenic Waltz. It's fully outlined and I'm 5 chapters into the buffer, but it doesn't feel "fun" to read yet, so... Hmm.

- If anyone wants to beta read the first 10k words where Martyn arrives at the Clocker residence and meets his soulmate Cleo for the first time, lmk? Been struggling with the pacing of action vs. world lore for months and it'd be nice to get outside thoughts. - My plan was to start posting in April after Dog's Life ends, but it might need more time. With weekly updates, it should finish in December or January, but I'd like a nice buffer first. Possibly, this story will start in the summer and end in early 2025.

EDIT - I ended up killing all these darlings and moving them to a separate story, which will be released at a later time. The pacing was just not working :)

Additional multi-chapters to wrap up:

Closed Door Policy - Can't finish until Criminal Experience is done. Will post Tuesdays or Sundays as appropriate (Expecting 2 or 3 more chapters).

Dear Future Captain - Waiting for Dog's Life to catch up to this part of the timeline (Between Sessions 4 and 5?) - I like my draft for Chapter 3, but I'd rather wrap up other stories first.

With Acid In Your Eyes - Outlined and expecting 10 chapters. This is a high-tension story I was excited for, but it's on the backburner while finalizing lore, social dynamics, and plot points. It was ambitious to post this one before things were solid, but I look forward to returning when I'm ready :)

When she actually has time to think about it later, she'll realize that it should've been impossible. All foreign code, from entire cities to a Pingas Head to something as small and inconsequential as a pen she'd borrowed from Wareach and forgotten to return, was supposed to have been left behind (and likely fizzle out of existence in the code-dense space between servers, if it hadn't been for a few particularly powerful visitors. not that Jayin knew that. not that she'd have cared if she did know) when the Connected Cosmos Company took GP's copy of the game back.

And yet, she'd found it, wedged in the bottom of the passenger seat collecting dust. A little red-and-white metal ball, scuffed and scratched from years of adventures with a tiny half-faded yellow lightning bolt painted on the front just above the button.

Most of the time, she has no idea what it is, what significance it holds. It's just a neat little curiosity, something to pull out of the glove compartment and fidget with when she needs to Do Something with her hands besides just steer but it's not safe enough outside to stop driving and tinker with the van. With how hectic things get sometimes she'll forget she even has it for days on end.

But in those rare moments, when the memories of her other life burst out of their cage, jumbles and raging and straining so hard at the chains pulling them back that it hurts and she can barely breathe, it becomes one of her last links to reality.

She takes shaky, shallow gulp of air, clutching Pikachu's Pokeball to her chest, and once again does her best to sort through the memories for as long as she still has them.

"M-my name is...Tulip Orpheus.

I am... seventeen years old.

I ran away from home when I was sixteen.

I'm... I am a... video game character...

Seven years ago, my game was...was filled with memes via a mod pack...to b-bring it to life.

I was seventeen when that happened. I am still seventeen because that is the age my character model was designed to be, and the people who modded my game haven't had a reason to change it yet.

I am an-an Avatar. I am the seventh Avatar.

This means that I am an anchor-point that keeps my game stable. If I... die, so does the rest of the world.

I have...two partners, who came with the mod pack. They help me st-stay alive, and they make art with the memes. This also keeps the game stable.

Their names are Super Meme Guardian 7 and Super Meme Guardian 10. They usually just use their initials because that's a mouthful.

There are currently...twenty? Yeah, t-twenty Avatars. But only across seventeen games. Two of them turned out to be evil and are in prison. Three of them died, but one came back. Two are...complicated. There was another complicated one, but that was fixed a few months ago.

I am friends with the other Avatars. I'm closest with a half-genie dancer named Shantae, a Pokemon trainer named Ash Ketchum, and a space-traveling alien delivery man named Captain Ol-Olimar.

I am being trained to defend myself by a Keyblade wielder named Sora."

Another, slightly steadier breath.

"My game...was created by the Connected Cosmos Company.

They took my copy of the game back, and put its data in a new game.

I don't know for sure, but I think they did it to three of the other Avatars too.

They tried to make me forget my time as an Avatar.

It only partially worked.

I don't know why.

I...I am alone." her vision gets blurry. She doesn't stop the tears, "I am not supposed to be alone anymore.

I am alone, I am in danger, and I am scared."

She feels the memories slipping away again, and grips the ball tighter.

"I... I am... real.

My memories are real.

My friends are Real.

MY FAMILY IS REAL!

They're real, and they're coming for me, and nothing will stop them.

And when they find me, I will never be alone again."

The bit of fire she found inside herself burns up far too soon, and she rapidly goes from determined to desperate as the cage door closes once more, "Please let them be real..."

A moment later, she looks around in confusion. She doesn't know why she's sitting on the floor of the van, or why she's been crying, or why she's holding that weird ball.

What she does know, is that she needs to get ready for another hard day of surviving the nightmare her world's become.

Not like someone's gonna swoop in and save her from it, after all.
