the fact that Greta was most likely holding back tears as she hears Marcus's sobs and pleas for her, like how she was hiding that she was afraid yet kept a calm facade to not scare Marcus more. That she held Marcus's hand as comfort for the girl but as comfort to herself as well, she's seen her coworkers and friends die, it wasn't pretty, she was afraid too, she didn't want death but she had to accept it. Hearing Marcus's cries for her broke her heart even more, she wanted to stay for her but it's over.
