Reading the translation of HGSN 26-1.
And getting to the last few lines said by 'Hikaru' and just being hit with KH thoughts.
'Hikaru' or Yoshiki (probably both tbh) is gonna be like "Guess my Summer Vacation is over" by the end of this.

Unknown Dances
Mizu x Fem!reader
Synopsis: Mizu has culture shock while also having to attempt to fit in, however she ends up making a friend at a noble ball.
authors note: I literally researched about 17th century court dancing for this guys (I already knew a little from my intro to dance class but not nearly enough)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cultural differences between Japan and London were so striking to Mizu that it took her two days to to understand a small bit of it. From what she had heard a ball of noblemen was being held and she thought that would be just the place she could find her next target.
She used Fowler as her way in since she assumed he was probably quite well respected among white people.
Mizu scanned over the party, she felt, strange wearing such an odd English outfit however to stay discreet she needed to look the part.
There's a band in the corner about to start a new song and the way people are locking eyes it feels as though they all know what song will be next. They begin finding partners and Mizu feels a tap on her shoulder.
A girl with her hair tied back into a beautiful updo, wearing a yellow ballgown is standing there. "I'm sorry I couldn't help but notice you look lost..have you never seen this dance before?" The girl seems nice. "Here follow me I'll help you," she gently takes Mizu by the hand and pulls her over to the two lines already forming. One of women and one of men.
Mizu was dropped off in the middle of the line of men, she didn't like this, she needed to get back on track. She had no idea was she was doing and-
The music starts.
She looks down at the feet of the man in front of her and follows as the man circles in front of his parter and back to his spot, then waits as her partner, the unnamed girl in the yellow dress, circles around her. One arm holding out her skirt, the other close to her chest.
This is all to stressful, she looks at the girl with a worried expression, however the gaze is not reciprocated because the girl is having the time of her life, smiling, laughing.
Mizu thinks the girl might laugh herself to death however the music stops and the girl turns to Mizu, "That was fun wasn't it?" Mizu is bright red with embarrassment? anxiety? she didn't quite know.
"Ah, you look ill come with me," the girl tries to grab Mizu's hand again. "No! I don't know you and yet you keep dragging me around, I demand at least a name!"
The girl looked surprised for a minute, a look of 'oh! a foreigner maybe that's why they were so confused!' but she soon snapped out of it "Goodness I'm sorry, my name is y/n..I'm also sorry for dragging you into something you don't know well people usually catch on quicker than you did."
Mizu felt her body destress a bit however she kept her gaze sharp, "Its..a pleasure to meet you y/n.." Mizu said, still quite unsure.
"Likewise" y/n says smiling patiently.
"Well y/n if you'll excuse me I have some um..important business to attend to," Mizu turns to walk away, face still red from embarrassment.
"Alright..um..I'll see you later then," y/n says in a somewhat upset voice, she hoped that this wouldn't be the last time they see each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mizu's plan was beginning to prove unsuccessful, everyone she had talked to had little to no info. She found herself back in the large ballroom.
She stared out at the crowd of people, and there she was, the girl in the yellow dress. Still dancing, still smiling. Mizu was envious.
She felt, compelled to that girl, as if she was out loud saying 'Mizu, come over here and dance! you're wound so tight!'
Before Mizu even thought about it she was already out on the floor taking y/n's hand, "May I dance with you?" she asks in a calm yet alluring voice.
Y/n just smiles politely and nods, taking Mizu's hand and swaying softly, "I'm sorry for coming off so," y/n pauses trying to find the right word, "strongly earlier" She gives Mizu an awkward gaze.
"I'm just not used to people taking a strong liking so fast," Mizu says, attempting to hold eye contact however she's fairly bad at it because she's focused on how her feet are moving.
The song comes to an end and people disperse, this time Mizu is the one to pull y/n. The two walk down the hall to a quieter spot. Mizu was acting so fast she didn't quite know what she was even doing she-
"I'm sorry I don't know why I pulled you off to the side, you can go back if you'd like," the words come out however she doesn't want them to.
"No its ok, I'll stay here," y/n says, "I need a minute away from the action" she lets out a soft chuckle.
Its quiet for only a minute but feels like forever before the silence is broken, "I'm going to be painfully honest I was drawn to you because of your eyes...not because you looked lost," y/n says "they're just so unique and such a beautiful color."
Mizu felt her cheeks flush hot and fast, "thank you...? wait um, you're welcome? no that's not right eith-" y/n cuts Mizu off with a loud, joy filled laugh. "I know what you meant don't worry."
Mizu inhales sharply, "That color..yellow, it's beautiful on you" Mizu rushes the words out, she's never felt like this.
"Thank you," y/n says with a polite and delicate smile.
Another song is beginning back in the main ballroom, "This is my favorite!! lets go!" y/n says looping her arm around Mizu's. Once again dragging her off to dance.

you didn't think recent events could get any weirder, truly. just five years prior you lost the love of your life to a corrupted sindel, and with the knowledge that his cursed corpse sauntered beside a sorcerer such as quan chi, you honestly felt like coming face to face with a younger version of yourself was the most normal thing to occur. your job as a leader of the special forces was to capture and eliminate all threats to earthrealm, including but not limited to your former husband.
now under the command of a previous timeline's raiden among others, you had built enough of an army to counterattack what you lovingly called the zombified versions of your once-friends, liu kang and kitana. kronika was a force beyond your understanding but you knew that losing all you'd come to build would be a loss greater than... well, no. it was everything you'd lose.
at the bow of kharon's ship, you stood with a loaded rifle alongside a band of people you'd grown to admire; jax, jacqui, cassie, raiden, liu kang, kitana, kung lao, fujin, nightwolf, and of course a younger version of johnny. he nudges your side, aiming his own rifle at the sky with a hand on his hip.
"i hope we don't die out there, i'd love to tap that someday," he coos into your direction, perhaps louder than intended and earning horrified looks from everyone - including your fatherless daughter. you stomp on johnny's foot. perhaps you would have fallen for his charms in the past, but dear god was he more punchable than ever in that moment. even still, you miss his quips and jabs. what you wouldn't give to see the color return to his cracked, hellish skin.
"it is an honor to fight alongside most of you," you call out, facing forward as your subtle dig at younger johnny makes him frown. "raiden says it better. may the elder gods protect us."
it's not long before the large boat scrapes against the shore of the island, and your entire army charges into battle. guns, swords, and fangs spill so much blood, you could smell more iron than when you were riding down the crimson sea. your thoughts are cut short when a path opens, and you shoot a glance to your comrades.
"i see an opening!" you shout, pointing. "i'm going in!" a chorus of encouragements and cheers fill your ears atop the war cries, and the one that stands out most is cassie. your daughter's voice raises, slipping into grief mid-battle.
"if you find dad," she cries, praying to the gods that she won't lose both parents. "tell him i love him!" the knowledge that this battle will end in only one of you making it out alive terrifies her beyond belief but she does all she can to keep a strong face and salute you as you disappear in the crowd. cassie knows that a revenant version of johnny wouldn't fully understand, wouldn't fully accept her love, but she couldn't die or have him die without expressing it one last time.
you weave, shoot and slash through the crowd and end up in a castle-like structure. perhaps if you were to rise to the top you could use the position as surveillance or sniping. you could possibly even find a weak point. the building is just distant enough for the war to hardly reach the inside. your breathing and the sound of boots hitting stone are all you could focus on as you turn a corner.
blood rushes to your ears and you could feel your vision become glassy at the sight of the figure at the end of the hallway. even after all this time, you knew that shape. johnny stood in the dead center of the long hall, arms crossed and waiting like he predicted your arrival. maybe he did.
"no, nonono," you pant, leaning against the wall as your brows furrow. "not you. not now." the grief you thought you conquered washes over you.
"well i'll be damned," johnny smirks, pulling his sunglasses from his face and tucking them into his shirt. "long time no see, sugar." he takes long strides to you and your legs feel embarrassingly weak when you slide to the ground, gun clattering to the stone surface alongside you.
"anyone but you—" you're muttering under your breath, trying to ground your spiraling thoughts. "please."
johnny's in front of you now, kneeling down to meet your gaze. his skin is paled and crackling with a hellish glow, and his eyes are a heinous reddish shade. the outfit he wore was similar in style to his usual, but darker in palette and slightly edgier. in any other context, it was a good look.
"you look just as good as the day i left you," he grins, dismissing your grief and turmoil for flirtation. you want to fight back so bad, to shove him away and put an end to this but dammit it was the first time you'd heard that voice, that damn voice.
"why did you leave me? cassie?" you're involuntarily sobbing now, full of conflict. "why are you doing this?"
"you're the one causing this entire problem," johnny's defensive, jabbing a finger to your chest. "kronika's new era can save us. neither of us join the military. can you imagine it? white picket fence, two dogs and a daughter, home cooked meals every night and none of this bullshit—!" johnny's arm extends out to a nearby window, giving you both a view of the demon-human-demigod war on time. "—baby. join me. we could have everything we've ever dreamed of." his tone isn't as desperate and loving as it should be. it sounded... pushy. frustrated that you're disobeying what he wants.
"no," you choke out, tears flowing freely now. "you're being played a fool, johnny." he doesn't like your answer, and instead wraps a large hand around your small neck. he slides you back up the wall and spins you, your front now pressed up against a wall.
"you know what i'd miss more than your stubbornness?" he growls into your ear. his hand pressing hold on the back of your head is brewing a headache that quickly fizzles away when his other hand tugs your hips toward his front. you swallow, afraid to reply. "this sweet ass."
his cold, dead hand plays with the fat of your ass which spills a growl from his lips. instinctively rutting into you makes you spill an involuntary whimper out, craving his touch after so long.
"always a pain in my ass," johnny groans, slapping a cheek and watching it bounce. "i've gone years without it, i was practically losing my damn mind."
"johnny—" you barely breathe out. you're not entirely sure what you were going to say anyway. the warmth of his hardness shocks you as it slides up and down your clothed ass.
"mm?" he hums, transfixed on the way your behind fits his cock nicely. it was clear he wasn't fully listening and instead relishing in your presence once again.
as if he could read your thoughts, johnny chuckles to himself and kicks the rifle away, only stopping his humping momentarily to remove your defenses. your legs slightly part to try and catch the gun with your foot, accidentally giving him more access to your embarrassingly needy cunt.
"yeah, fuckin' speechless," he growls, hissing at the sight of your soaked bottoms. "bet you missed my cock, yeah?"
you could hardly even whimper from the onslaught of emotion. johnny's hand snakes to the front of your neck, forcibly arching your back as he pulls to lean into your ear.
"join me," he demands coldly.
"no."
johnny's hand dips under your waistband.
"join me," he demands again, tone getting progressively more animalistic as he tugs downward.
"no."
your pants are practically torn off as he grabs a fistful and tugs them to your knees with his mind-numbing strength. you weren't sure if he ripped your panties or tugged them off too. you hear something unbuckle on his end, and his hot, wet tip tickles your entrance.
"last chance." even though his hand returned to shove you into the stone wall, you could hear his cocky grin.
"go fuck yourself," you spit, realizing your grave choice of wording.
"i'll do you one better." he slams his entire cock inside of you, and it immediately settles into your walls like it was made to bury itself there for all of eternity. even still, going without dick that good leaves your pussy burning and on the verge of crying for other reasons.
he bottoms out quick, leaning back to admire how nicely he settles inside of you.
"well fuck, look at that," he says with genuine amusement in his tone. "you look so pretty stretched out on me like this, it's a sight for sore eyes."
your fingers claw at the stone, eyes rolling back as you take his full length without verbal complaint. as you pathetically attempt to protest, all you can sputter out are disconnected syllables. johnny's thrusts start off slow but he snaps into you as he reaches the base inches.
"all this whining but you're fuckin' soaked," he laughs, snapping into you harshly to hear you cry out. "you're a horrible liar, you know. you wanna join me, i can f — haah —" his own cocky nonsense is cut short when you clench around him. he lurches forward in shock, moving both hands to your hips to deepen his grip. "i can feel how tight you are for me."
in little to no time, johnny's cock is pounding into you at a breakneck pace, a horrid slapping sound echoing off of the castle walls as they mix with your obscene moans and his deep grunts. you're sure he's piling more unholy words into you but they feel so far away when he's plowing into you like a dying man — well.
his cracked, grey fingers grope you shamelessly, pinching your nipple through your uniform or rubbing rapid circles into your clit. the pleasure is too much too quickly and you feel a warmth pooling in your stomach as your juices coat his shaft.
a gasp escapes your lips with each thrust, your husband quite literally knocking the wind out of you each time he slams into you.
"i missed you," he purrs out, and just like that all hesitation and guilt you had flew away as his words made you cum hard. a glimpse of his humanity poured through at your orgasm, and while it was flattering, you had bigger problems to worry about then, including just how hard you came.
each wave of pleasure was met with an extra thrust for good measure, a pulse shooting to your clit that makes your knees buckle. what you quickly realize however is that your zombie husband isn't done with your body quite yet.
"oh, no no no," he tuts, thrusts getting wilder and filling you to the point of tears. "you're done when i'm done. this is what you get."
your sensitive walls continued to shamefully take every inch he forced into you, and you could writhe and twitch as a drop of drool spills from your lip. this revenant was fucking you stupid, using your body for all it was worth in the moment. you hated yourself for falling for his undead charm all over again. your vision was going black and starry before another orgasm rode up on you again, johnny's back shots doing nothing to soothe the overstimulation that was racking your body. it's not long before he's whining too, which turns into his signature whimpering when he fucks into you harshly, spewing his cum inside of you like he owns you. you cum with him this time, flooding with your own juice mixed with his cum that now coated your walls nicely.
tears still burned in your eyes, and so did your pussy from the unexpected stretch. johnny panted above you, face turned up at the ceiling as he tries to compose himself.
"holy..." he pants, wiping the sweat from his face with his arm. he wraps an arm around you and slaps at your bare pussy, making you yelp and jump back against his dick that's still buried inside. you swallow thickly and nod, too hazy to make sense of it all.
"i..." what the hell were you going to say? what is there to say after all of this? you're dumbfounded, fucked silly but torn apart by grief. as you crane your neck to look at johnny, you find that he's already looking at you with a coy expression. like he robbed you of something. tore your very being apart piece by piece and was proud.
"hope you're not mad at me for the whole dying thing, by the way."

Could you write something where Axl and Reader are childhood best friends and lovers. Total opposites. She leaves Lafayette with him but when he was starting to get famous he cheated on her.
she caught them in the act and instead of being angry she got sad because she had a feeling it would happen one day with the Rockstar life style. While the other woman rush out reader just stood there looking at him with a sad expression while he cried and begged for her forgiveness. She walked slowly, sat on the bed then asked him softly to go shower because he smells like her, he gets scared because he thinks she's gonna run away while he's in there but she promises to still be there when he gets back. When he finishes washing himself he finds her sitting up in bed, sheets, blankets and pillows changed looking down at her hands and he's speechless because he doesn't wanna say or do anything, he just wants to stop time right there. She looks up at him and pats to the spot beside her, so he hops into bed and she lays on his chest, knowing it'll be the last time she does it. He cries softly into her hair and she makes circles with her fingers on his chest. "You know I can't stay right? That wouldn't be fair, on both of us." She says and he just keeps apologizing. They both eventually fall asleep but when axl wakes up, she's gone.
Gnr goes onto be one of the biggest bands in the world, none of them have heard from reader since the incident, and none of them speak of her like she's a taboo topic, it's like they tricked themselves into thinking the sweetest human they'd ever met wasn't even apart of their lives. That was till axl speaks about her in an interview, keeping her name anonymous but telling their love story and how it ended, leaving a secret message at the end for her to hear. The next day his manager says he has a guest, as soon as he saw the back of her head he knew it was her, he picked up his pace and a smile lit up his face until she turned around and he saw a small diamond on her finger. They talk about they're lives, reader went to college and became a teacher, both of them avoiding the elephant in the room for as long as possible, knowing it'll hurt when it's spoken. "So you got married" axl says, secretly hoping it's just for decoration. "Yes" reader replies and his heart dropped. "He treating you right?" Axl asks with his fists clenched. "Oh Axl, he's the sweetest, maybe one day you'll meet him" she says with a slight smile looking down at her hands, but she knows they'll never be close enough to be in each other's lives again.
I cant think of a way to end this, but he's sad and she walks off feeling bitter sweet.
Hiiii I’m so sorry it’s late but it’s finally here! Hope you enjoy it!

You and Axl have a long sweet history. You were his best friend and you've been his girlfriend since you both were 16. You and Axl are total opposites that is what made your guy’s on-and-off relationship more compelling. You and Axl left Lafayette together in 1982. Around 1985 Guns n Roses started to get more well-known. Axl had cheated on you multiple times but you keep deciding to forgive him. When you finally feel that he would not cheat on you he does. You catch Axl fucking some other woman in your guys’s bed. You open the door and watch them making love. You enter the room.
“I didn't know I swear, If I did know I never would have been here,” the woman says filled with shame and embarrassment. She gives Axl a hateful glare as she rushes to the bathroom. The other woman quickly rushes to the bathroom, puts her clothes on, and rushes out the door. You wait to speak until the other woman leaves.
“Oh Axl,” you say with a sting of disappointment and sadness in your face.
“Y/N no please forgive me I beg you Y/N please just forget this and we will start all over again,” Axl begs and cries.
You slowly walk over to the bed without saying anything to him. You sit down.
“Axl please go take a shower you smell like her,” you say softly with tears welling in your eyes.
“Y/N if I go shower you're going to run away. I know you are” Axl says sadly.
“Axl I promise I'm not going to run away,” You say reassuringly to Axl.
Axl heads on into the bathroom and you hear the shower running. He takes 40 minutes to wash off the other woman's scent thoroughly. When he exits the bathroom with his wet red hair he finds you sitting on the bed that you changed everything about. You changed the sheets, you changed the pillows and you changed the blankets. He finds you looking at your hands. He doesn't want to say or do anything. He just wishes he could stop time right there. Axl's thoughts are interrupted when you look up at him and pat the spot beside you. You're inviting Axl on the bed and he accepts the invitation. Axl lets you lay on his chest. He knows that you have had enough of his cheating bullshit and it was the last time you would ever cuddle together. He starts to cry into your hair because of his realization. You slowly start to comfort Axl by making small circles on his chest.
“Axl you know I can't stay right? That wouldn't be fair on both of us” you say quietly.
“Y/N I am sorry that I hurt you,”  Axl says while crying.
You don't respond to him. After a couple of minutes, both of you fall asleep in each other's arms. It's now 7 a.m Axl is still asleep and you decide to grab your things and quietly slip out the door.
It's now 9:06 and when Axl wakes up all your things are gone and you're nowhere to be seen in his sight. Axl is incredibly sad and he's hurting.
After 6 years go by it's now 1988 and this is when Guns n Roses got famous. None of them have heard from you after you left Axl. They never speak about you but still have internalized thoughts of you. They truly did believe that you were the kindest person they had ever met and they were sad that you weren't a part of their lives anymore. You watch an interview about guns.
“Do you have anyone that is special to you?” the interviewer asks Axl.
“Well, there was this special lady who I truly still care about. I’ve hurt plenty of times. Me and I were good friends in Lafayette and we met at school. We dated on and off for about 5 years. I eventually left Lafayette with her and it all ended after a couple of years.” Axl reminiscences.
“Listen old lover of Lafayette, if you still want to meet, I'm here like the sun that never went away. All you need is a little patience.” Axl says into the screen with a hopeful glint in his softened eyes.
You immediately knew what he was talking about. He made the message for you the first time he got caught cheating on you. The next day the manager goes to Axl.
“We have a guest,” the manager says.
Axl sees the back of your brown hair and he knows it's you. A smile lit up on his face as he watched you turn around. He spotted a small diamond on her finger. You go up to Axl and you start to conversate with him.
“Hi Axl,” you say, forcing a smile on your face.
“I missed you Y/N,” Axl says quietly.
“So what have you been up to?” you ask Axl.
“Well the band got famous and you know where I am now,” Axl says softly.
Axl reciprocates the question you asked him.
“I went to college back in Lafayette and I went back to California to become a teacher.” You say.
“So you got married?” Axl asks, hiding the pain on his face.
“Yes, I did,” you say smiling.
“Is he treating you right?” Axl asks, forcing a smile on his face. His fists are clenched and it secretly hurts you but you want him to feel the hurt.
"Oh Axl, he's the sweetest, maybe one day you'll meet him," you say smiling while looking down at your hands.
You know that you and Axl won't be close in each other's lives again and that hurts you and him deeply. Axl is very hurt and starts to tear up and you walk off feeling bittersweet.

———————————————————————-
Saturday, February 6th; 8:30 PM - At Miller's.
I don't feel very comfortable being here. Miller's house is packed. After getting out of the pool, Mapi received a message from him, inviting us to his party tonight. Surprisingly, our friends were tempted to go. I didn't expect Lucy to be one of them; she usually prefers to keep me away from parties. The fact that she's coming with me must change things a lot. So here we are, standing in front of the house, frozen, unsure if we're going in or not. I don't know about the others, but for me, that's definitely the case. The music is so loud it's making the walls shake. It's a typical college party, the kind we all know. Just on the porch, we can already see a dozen young people with red cups or cigarettes in hand, maybe even joints.
"I feel like I'm going back five years," Ingrid comments.
"That's probably true," Mapi giggles, earning a glare.
"Is this a fraternity?" Lucy asks.
"Oh no," Mapi laughs. "It's Miller's house, a friend of ours. His parents are often away on weekends, so he takes the opportunity to throw parties. Since it became a regular thing, his parties ended up becoming well-known."
"So, are we going in, or are we just going to stand here staring at them like idiots?"
The girls look at me, astonished. I was the one who wanted to come the least, so it's no surprise. However, I feel really stupid just waiting here. Besides, if we don't go in soon, I might end up turning back because of overthinking. Memories of my last parties are starting to resurface. If Lucy knew this was where I woke up with a rubber band around my arm, she might not have agreed to come. Ingrid and Mapi are the first to move forward. Lucy gives me a smile, which I return. I grab her hand as she extends it to intertwine our fingers. It's comforting to have her by my side tonight. We follow the girls through the crowd. Some people look at us like we're oddities, while others whistle at us. I chuckle as I see Lucy roll her eyes at their futile reactions. Initially, I always saw Lucy as a party girl, given how badass she seemed, but after getting to know her, I realize it's quite the opposite.
"Are they always like this here?" she murmurs.
"Are you overwhelmed?" I tease.
"No. I was just wondering if students are the same everywhere, but it seems like I have my answer."
"I've always said it gets worse every year."
"You're right. That's one more reason not to leave me alone tonight."
"I wouldn't dream of it."
I press against her to accompany my words. She wraps her arm around my waist in return, kissing my temple. I feel safe by her side, just as Lucy seems reassured, given how tightly she's holding me. What bothers me is that she doesn't seem very comfortable in this environment. We walk through the hallway where I greet a few high school acquaintances who recognize me. I glance around to make sure Feli isn't here. I sincerely hope she's given up by now. I don't know how I'd react if we ran into her. I take a deep breath at the thought. We're interrupted when Lucy has to take my hand again to navigate through narrower passages. She leads the way, firmly holding my hand. This gives me a chance to enjoy the view. I haven't had many opportunities to see Lucy in anything other than her uniform, but it's definitely worth it. I love her style. Right now, she's dressed all in black, which must clearly be her color. A sweater, jeans, and little boots that accentuate her already well-toned legs. It's safe to say she's irresistible. I feel almost pathetic in my black skinny jeans and denim shirt. I look back up at her face when I sense her turning around. Her expression makes me realize I've been caught red-handed. I blush with embarrassment, and fortunately for me, we arrive in the kitchen. This is where the guys usually hang out at the beginning of the party. It seems that's the case tonight as well.
"And here come the queens of the party!" Wick comments when he sees us. "Hey, girls... And you're accompanied too."
He looks at us all one by one, lingering first on Ingrid, then especially on Lucy. I frown, forcing Lucy to lean back against me.
"Go elsewhere, Wick. She's already taken," I reply sharply.
Lucy chuckles, wrapping her arm around my waist again. I don't find it funny. Wick is a big flirt when he's single. As far as I know, he doesn't have anyone right now, so he better not try to get close to my girlfriend. No one will get close to her, not tonight, not any other day. She's mine now. Under the laughter of our friends, Wick stammers an apology as he realizes our relationship. I never really showed off with Mapi back in the day, but I won't hesitate to do so with Lucy. We do a brief introduction before Miller speaks up.
"Well, welcome, and make yourselves at home. We're happy to see our girls accompanied," he smiles. "The girls will show you around; they're regulars here."
"We gathered that," Lucy mutters.
"We were thinking of heading out if you'd like to join us," he continues.
"We'll grab a drink first, and then we'll join you," Mapi announces, looking at us to give us a chance to object.
"Yeah, no problem," Miller finally responds. "See you soon, then."
Our ritual remains intact. We each go our separate ways, stopping at the drinks table while the guys head out. I don't worry about Mapi, who prepares my drink as usual.
"What can I get you, girls?" she asks after handing me my drink.
"Definitely not the same as Ona," Lucy grimaces after sniffing my drink. "What did you put in there?"
I smile at her expression. Something tells me Mapi made my drink strong.
"Do you want a taste?" I joke.
"No, thanks. But I think one drink is enough for you."
"Come on, it's not that strong!" Mapi protests.
"It's not up to you to decide," Lucy retorts.
"Oh, don't be such a wimp, Miss Picky. We'll show you what real fun is like here in Barcelona!"
"Hey, don't say that," I interject. "That's not what tonight is about."
"Of course," Mapi replies, rolling her eyes. "Your responsible one is here, and you're going to play the goody-two-shoes."
"Don't push it," I exclaim, playfully hitting her arm. "I've just decided to be reasonable."
"Sure," she mocks. "And the drinks?"
"Two beers will do," Ingrid replies.
"Pff. You guys are no fun," Mapi comments as she opens the two beers.
Having gone out with them before, their choice of beer no longer surprises me. It seems to exasperate Mapi, though. She probably expected something different from tonight.
"Times change, Maps."
I give her a wink, grabbing Lucy's hand to pull her outside with me. I needed some fresh air with all the people starting to suffocate me. We join my friends around the patio table.
"Hey, Ona! I didn't think I'd see you here again."
"Hey, everyone. And you're Alex, if I remember correctly, right?"
The poor guy gets booed by his friends because of my response. It's hard not to remember him. He was Joan's friend's brother.
"Um, yeah, that's right," he sulks. "I hope you still remember me. We met in Manchester."
"Yes, I remember very well. You tried to hit on me and convince me to reply to your messages."
Once again, his friends roast him because of me. It wasn't my intention. I just wanted him to understand that I still wasn't interested. I sit next to Lucy, who had found a spot, and smile when she immediately places her hand on my thigh. I catch Alex out of the corner of my eye, looking at us strangely. He must have figured it out. I don't pay him any more attention, preferring to focus on Mapi and Ingrid, who have finally settled in front of us. Now that we're seated, I take my first sip of my drink. I quickly regret it. I force myself to swallow the liquid that almost ended up being spat out.
"Damn, Maps! What did you put in this?!"
"The usual. Why?" she teases.
"No, this is not the usual! It's super strong!" I complain.
"Wimp," Ingrid mocks.
I hand her my drink, challenging her to take a sip. She laughs, raising her beer.
"Sorry, I've already got my drink. You only have yourself to blame for trusting Mapi to make your drinks," she replies, making my best friend laugh.
I grumble, giving them a grand middle finger. They've really hit it off.
"It's not like I didn't warn you," Lucy adds.
"I have to admit," Mapi chimes in. "I was afraid you'd stop her from drinking it, but I'm glad you didn't. Her face was priceless!"
"You learn through experience," Lucy teases.
She pulls me closer when she sees me pouting. That was really not cool. Lucy takes advantage of my mood to steal a kiss, which instantly cheers me up. She takes my glass and places it on the table.
"How about we go get you a new drink, hmm? I'd rather you have something else. »
I nod while smiling. We apologize to the others before heading back inside. Lucy stands by the table while I prepare myself a new drink. I opt for vodka with orange juice, measuring it much more carefully this time. I glance at Lucy, who seems completely absorbed by what's happening in the living room. People are going wild to the music. She turns back to me, tilting her head with a small smile when she notices me.
"So, this is the kind of party you like to attend?"
"Let's just say it's Mapi's thing, and I've always gone along with her."
"But you've grown to like it. You seem comfortable in this environment."
"Let's just say I've gotten used to it," I reply, shrugging. "I don't care about all these people. If I'm here, it's only for my friends who make it a good time."
And that's the truth. It's the only reason I used to enjoy coming. There were times I didn't come and later regretted it. I always felt like I missed out on the best moments, like I was excluded for not being there to share in the latest craziness.
"And you? Did you go to parties when you were in high school or college?"
She takes a sip of her drink, covering her little smile. A few days ago, she confessed to me that she was a bit of a nerd, but I still have a hard time believing it.
"No. I wasn't very popular, and I have a rather rational mother. I guess she passed those traits on to me."
"You can be rational and still go to parties."
"True, but it wasn't my style."
"Not even in college?" I ask, surprised.
"Well... Jenni did try to take me to a few parties when we were in Manchester. It was at a place like this that I met Kiera," she admits.
"I see..."
"I went with Jenni sometimes, but those weren't the places I preferred to go."
Now that I know all this, I understand better why she didn't like knowing I was here alone. Kiera was a junkie who used drugs at parties after all... She must have been afraid I'd do the same. I push that thought away to avoid dwelling on it here.
"So, what's your thing then?"
"My thing?"
She smiles again and finally looks at me. I nod.
"I prefer going to bars, restaurants, or the movies. Things like that. It might be more boring than parties full of drunk people for you, but it's what I enjoy."
"I don't find it boring at all. After everything I've been through, it'll probably be better for me to move on to that kind of gathering."
"I don't want to stop you from doing what you love."
"You're not stopping me, Luce. If my mom wanted me in this school, it was so I could find myself and grow, and that's exactly what's happening thanks to you."
"That doesn't mean you have to adopt my lifestyle. It's okay to have different styles."
"I know, but you were right about one thing. Parties aren't the best places for a former junkie, so I can make some concessions."
"Hmm..." she smiles behind her beer. "Then let's enjoy it. Do you want to dance?"
"I'm not a big fan of dancing," I giggle.
"Oh, come on. You could make an effort. Come on."
I glance at her hand for a moment, biting my lip. Her offer is very tempting.
"It's just that I don't really know how to dance. I don't want to embarrass myself."
"Ona, no one here knows how to dance if you watch them," she laughs. "Please. I really want us to dance together."
"I'll need several drinks first, in that case."
"Definitely not," she says, grabbing my hand. "I'll show you that we can have fun without drinking."
I groan as she pulls me toward the living room. We quickly find ourselves among strangers dancing together. I feel uncomfortable being here. Lucy tries to reassure me by placing my hand on her waist and smiling at me.
"Relax," she whispers.
She lets go and starts moving her hips in front of me. Damn... She must want to kill me. I'm practically frozen by the provocative scene she's giving me. She syncs with the rhythm of the music. I snap back to reality when she places her hands on my waist to get me to move too.
"You know, you'll look more ridiculous if you let me dance alone. Maybe I should find another partner."
"Definitely not," I growl.
She chuckles and slips her hand around my back to pull me closer. We're so close that I can feel her breath brushing my cheek. The tension is strong. So strong that I grab her neck without warning to claim her lips. It's been a long time since I felt such a powerful desire. Lucy softens our kiss to make it less rough. I then bury my head in her neck to collect myself.
"Let go," she murmurs to me through the music. "I'll take the lead."
I could almost believe she's talking about something other than dancing. She probably is, since it's clear she'll be the one leading our relationship. As she said earlier, she's the one with the rational nature. I don't doubt that she'll find our balance. In a surge of confidence, I wrap my arms around her neck to feel even closer to her. We've never been this close outside of a bed after one of my anxiety attacks. She pulls back slightly to look between our bodies moving in sync, thanks to her hands on my waist and one of her legs between mine.
"You told me you didn't know how to dance. That's not the impression you're giving."
"It's because you're guiding me," I giggle, making her shake her head.
"No. Your body moves very well. You just don't have confidence in yourself."
She's probably right. I enjoyed dancing when I was in high school. That's why Mapi insists so much when we're here. I brush her neck with my nose, focusing only on her presence that gives me the confidence I was missing.
"Ona...?"
Our bubble is burst by the one person I wanted to avoid tonight. Of course, she would be here... I force myself to turn around to make sure it's her.
"Finally, I was starting to lose hope!"
She tries to touch me, but Lucy steps in front of me, pushing me behind her. Feli doesn't seem pleased, furrowing her brow. Recognizing those eyes perfectly, I cling to Lucy. I can't tell if it's to protect myself or to stop her from tearing Feli apart, given the way she's looking at her.
"Who is this?" Feli asks harshly.
"Her girlfriend," Lucy answers before I can.
Feli's eyes narrow even more as she looks at me. Reflexively, I pull Lucy back, and this time it's out of fear that I do it. I recognize the signs of Feli when she gets angry.
"Please," I murmur to Lucy, tugging on her sleeve.
It's all I can manage to say, but Lucy must have understood my distress signal. She takes a step back, which immediately triggers Feli, who literally explodes.
"No! You're not going to run from me again!"
She tries to get close to me, but Lucy acts, shoving her away forcefully.
"Don't come near her. She doesn't want to see you or talk to you. Don't you think you've hurt her enough already? If you loved her as much as you claim, you'd do well to never contact her again."
"What business is it of yours, you little bitch? You don't know anything about what we've been through," she snaps.
"I know enough to convince Ona to take you to court."
Those words were too much for Feli, who decided to lunge at Lucy. I scream, closing my eyes to avoid seeing what happens next. I expected an imminent impact since I was standing right behind Lucy, but nothing happens. I slowly open my eyes, and what I see petrifies me. I expected to find Lucy on the ground, but it's quite the opposite. She's overpowering her... Feli, my ex, who traumatized me for years. This seems to enrage Feli even more as she tries to hit her repeatedly. Lucy dodges her punches one after another with great agility. She waits for her to lose steam before landing a punch on her cheek. Faced with this action, which I didn't expect at all, I cover my mouth to keep from screaming again. The blow was so strong that Feli stumbles backward, completely shaken. From the look of her, she must not be sober right now.
"That's for drugging Ona at a party. And this..."
She hits her on the other side, making her lose her balance again. She doesn't wait for her to regain her senses before grabbing her by the collar. The silence that reigns makes me realize the music has been turned off.
"And that's for daring to touch her. Now, stay away from her. Otherwise, she won't hesitate to press charges for what you did to her and for harassment too. Do I make myself clear?"
Feli is so stunned and intimidated by Lucy that she nods frantically. I knew she was intimidating, but not to the point of making my enraged ex give in.
"Good. Then stay out of her life, or I'll destroy yours by making sure you end up in jail," she threatens her.
"Oh my God, Ona."
I turn toward Mapi's voice as she immediately pulls me into her arms. I'm too shaken to understand anything. She steps back to examine me, keeping her hands on my shoulders.
"Are you okay?"
"I think so," I murmur.
"Let’s go," Lucy announced, extending her hand to me.
I took it without hesitation. Given her mood, this wasn’t the time to refuse her anything. I glanced over her shoulder to see Feli watching us with sorrow.
"We're coming with you," Ingrid said.
"There's no need," Lucy replied. "Enjoy the evening. We'll meet back at home later."
"Please take care of Ona," Mapi conceded.
"That's my intention," Lucy reassured her with a small smile.
We wished them a good evening, and then I let Lucy lead me toward the exit. The crowd that had formed had dispersed, and the music had resumed. I forced myself not to look back. It was a relief to finally be outside, where I could breathe again. I still couldn't believe she had hit her—twice, no less.
"Thank you..." I murmured once we were far from the house.
"You shouldn't thank me," she sighed in frustration, rubbing her forehead.
"You defended me."
"I'm not proud of hitting your ex, Ona. Even if she deserved it, it makes me feel like I'm just like her."
I stopped abruptly, making her do the same since our hands were still linked.
"You're nothing like her, Luce. You have nothing in common with her. Feli was violent and angry. You're not that kind of person, as far as I know."
"That's all the more reason to take her to court," she retorted. "I really don't understand you on this!"
I bit my lip, staring at the ground. I couldn’t give her an answer to that question. Feli had been a part of my life. No matter how much she hurt me, I still care about her.
"She's not a bad person deep down," I murmured.
"Oh, so hitting her girlfriend is being a good person!? When will you open your eyes, Ona? This isn't the Feli you met! If you do nothing, she won’t hesitate to hurt others, if she hasn't already! Is that what you want? For her to hurt other people!? Because I can assure you that’s what she'll do now that she knows she’ll never have you again!"
Lucy had never yelled at me like that before. Sure, she had scolded me, but never like this. I still didn’t dare look at her, now that tears were in my eyes. She was right. Of course she was right. When was she ever not right? She sighed again as she approached me, cupping my face in her hands. She must know me well to instinctively wipe my tears away with her thumbs.
"I know it’s painful, honey, but it’s the truth. I just saw Feli for the first time, and I can assure you there's nothing good in her. All she wants is to make you feel guilty for leaving her, so you’ll go back to her. Is that what you want?"
I shook my head and threw myself into her arms. Of course not, that’s not what I want. She pulled that trick on me for months. I literally collapsed in her arms. Everything I had kept bottled up since our encounter finally spilled out. I would have preferred to do this at home, but it was inevitable that the subject would come up on the way. I tried to speak, but nothing coherent came out, making her hold me tighter against her.
"Shhh. Calm down. I'm sorry for being so harsh, but it’s the only way for you to open your eyes."
"I-I don't want to... Y-you know that, right?"
"Of course I know, baby. But if you really want to move on, you have to take action. She won’t leave you alone otherwise."
I resigned myself to nodding. I had to do it. I’d been putting it off for far too long.
"D-don't leave me."
"Never. We’ll face this together, okay?"
I clung to her desperately, nodding again. She was my lifeline. Without her, I would have drowned in an endless ocean. She kissed my temple and rocked me until I pulled myself together.
"I'd love to stay here holding you forever, but I’m sure your bed is much cozier. Besides, my hands hurt."
I pulled away from her and wiped my cheeks with my hand.
"Sorry for thinking only of myself... Let me see your hands," I murmured.
"Don't apologize. And as for my hands, you can see them when we get to your place. Then it'll be your turn to take care of me... The idea of having a personal nurse sounds quite appealing."
I smiled at her attempt to lighten the mood. It wasn’t surprising that she was in pain. Having dealt with Feli myself, she must have used considerable force to destabilize her twice. She was really strong.
"Let’s head home, then... It’s my turn to take care of you. And even if you were joking, it’s non-negotiable."
"Is that an order, Princess?" she teased.
"Absolutely, Commander."
"Then let’s hurry. I can’t wait to be pampered by you."
I kissed her tenderly before we finished our walk without another word, staying close to each other. I appreciated the way she held me against her. I felt like I belonged. It was as if I could already see my whole future. It only took two weeks apart for my world to fall apart. She had become my everything, my reason for living, to the point where it was almost frightening. We arrived at my place, where a royal silence reigned in the hall. Well, that was until Joan came to greet us as we took off our jackets and shoes. It was so early that she was still awake. She was quickly followed by a very surprised Sophia.
"You're already back?" she asked us. "It’s only ten o'clock."
"Yeah... The party wasn’t that great."
I lied to avoid worrying her over something so small. She didn’t seem to question it. Lucy, on the other hand, remained silent, much to my relief. Sophia would have panicked if she knew the truth and would likely have insisted on making a diagnosis before I could even explain anything. I smiled when Lucy hugged my brother at his request. That was something new I hadn’t expected from Joan.
"Still up, huh?" she asked her.
"I was just about to put him to bed," Sophia admitted.
"We'll take over then. Thanks again for watching him tonight."
"No problem, Ona. What time are you leaving tomorrow?"
"Same as usual. Early in the morning."
"Well... I guess I'll see you next time then."
"We'll be back, I promise. Now go home, you’ve earned it."
"Thanks," she smiled. "Sleep well, girls."
"Good night to you, and be careful on the road."
"I will."
We exchanged a hug, and she gave Lucy a friendly nod before leaving. As for us, we headed upstairs, leaving Joan in my girlfriend's care. They went to my room while I searched for a pajama for him, as he had declared that he could still sleep with us. Given the circumstances, I would have preferred that he leave us alone tonight, but I said nothing since we already see each other so little. When I joined them, I found them deep in conversation. The bond between them was working out wonderfully, which delighted me to no end.
"Here, Jo," I said, handing her the pajama. "Can you get dressed by yourself? I need to take care of Lucy."
My brother pouted at my request but accepted without protest. Lucy smiled softly at me and let herself be guided to the bathroom, where she sat on the edge of the tub. I took her hands in mine and noticed that her knuckles were extremely red. I bit my lip, imagining the pain she must have felt.
"It’s not that painful," she reassured me calmly.
"Don't move, I’ll be right back."
Without another word, I went downstairs to fetch an ice pack for her. When I returned, my brother was keeping her company while brushing his teeth. The sight made me smile. It was the first time I didn’t have to fight with him about it. She gave me a smug smile when she saw what I had in my hands.
"Really, Ona? I'm not in that much pain, you know," she teased.
"Don’t argue. I promised to pamper you tonight, so you’re not allowed to protest," I replied in a mock-threatening tone.
She chuckled and nodded, not losing her smile. Before starting anything, I glanced at my brother to see how he was doing. He was wiping his mouth.
"All done," he said proudly.
"Go to bed, we'll be there in a minute."
He nodded, smiling. He then rushed into my room. I closed the door behind him for some privacy. As soon as I did, Lucy pulled me between her legs, making me let out a small cry of surprise. She smiled at me with that goofy grin again.
"So, where do we start, nurse?"
"Stop, it’s not funny," I giggled, playfully pushing her shoulder. "Come on, give me your hands."
Her hands, which had been caressing the back of my knees until then, slid to the sides and moved up to my waist. I grabbed them before they could go any higher and looked at her sternly.
"That’s enough, bad girl," I warned her as best I could. "Be serious for a moment!"
"Bad girl, huh?" she grinned, crossing her feet behind my legs. "Is that how you see me now?"
This action brought us even closer, making me blush. She was distracting me from my examination. I let my thumbs gently caress her knuckles.
"Of course not... Does it hurt? »
"I already told you it doesn’t."
"Put the ice pack on them anyway, please. They’re very red."
"Anything my princess wants."
I realized she was lying about the intensity of her pain when I tried to flatten her hand in mine. I looked up to see her grimacing, even though she was trying to hide it. I bit my lip to keep from commenting. This was definitely not the right time.
"Hold this. I’ll see if I have any cream to help with this," I said, placing the ice pack on her hand.
She held the ice pack without saying anything. The roles had changed drastically in such a short time. If she did this, it was for me, so I could only be grateful. I searched through all my drawers for the tube I had brought back from Manchester. A victorious smile spread across my lips when I finally found it. Even though I’m a doctor’s daughter and studied in this field, I don’t doubt that my care won’t be as good as hers, but I’ll do my best. I’ve always thought that it takes a certain instinct to take care of people. As for me, it’s clear that I don’t have any.
Returning to her, I noticed that she had alternated the ice pack between her two fists. I took over as I moved back between her legs to apply cream to her first hand. I made sure not to look at her to avoid being unsettled.
"Why does she call you 'Oni'?" she asked suddenly, making me chuckle at the memory of that story.
"I’m not really sure, actually. I think she was confused that we don’t have the same last name so he wanted to give me a nickname to feel close to me. »
"Oh... So she has her father’s name?"
"Yes. His name is Joan Pascual."
"And your mother?"
I sighed at that question. It was a rather sensitive topic, but I played along and answered.
"She kept my father’s name. I never really understood why, knowing that they’ve been divorced for several years."
"Maybe to keep the same name as you?" she guessed, making me shrug.
"I don’t really know."
"And what about him?" she redirected the conversation. "Do you like him?"
I didn’t need more information to know she was talking about Marcus. Her change of topic wasn’t the best, given what I think about him. She seemed to understand because she removed the ice pack to stroke my cheek.
"You don’t have to talk about it."
"I will talk about it," I said, taking her hand again to give it the same gentle caresses as the other. "To be honest, I don’t have anything against him specifically, but I had a hard time accepting the relationship he had with my mother."
"Why?"
"I thought it was too soon. My mother wasn’t even divorced yet, and then, she didn’t tell me about it. I found out when I saw them in bed together... Imagine what that does to a troubled teenager..."
She nodded in understanding. The fingers of her free hand stroked the back of my knee like earlier.
"You weren’t a troubled teenager... You had the right to be hurt, confused, and angry about discovering that. How is your relationship now?" she continued, gently pulling me closer to her.
"Strange. I never really accepted it, but I was lucky to have him as a stepfather. He always tried to ease my relationship with my mother, and he’s always been a good father to Joan."
"How would you feel if he married your mother?"
I froze for a moment at that question. Of course, I had already thought about their marriage. I had already wondered why they weren’t married yet. After all, they’ve been living together for almost ten years now, and they have a daughter together.
"I’m not really sure... Better than a few years ago, for sure... If my father were still here, he would have told me to accept it because he would have been happy for them."
"He must have been a good man."
"He was," I said, wrapping my arms around her neck. "You remind me a lot of him, if you want to know the truth..."
"I doubt that. He seems much wiser than I am. Anyway, I’ll support you in all your decisions, no matter if I think they’re right or not."
"See, that’s exactly why you remind me of him," I giggled. "He used to say the same thing. I wish you could have met him... He would have adored you."
"And I imagine I would have adored him in return."
"Enough about me. What about your adoptive parents? Was it always smooth sailing?" I joked. "You’ve never told me much about them."
"There’s not much to say. My mother seems cold and strict at first glance, but she’s really kind. I wouldn’t be who I am now without her."
"I’m already dreading the first meeting," I muttered. "She’s going to terrify me..."
"Definitely," she laughed. "She loves to scare my partners. She always does that to see if the person will let themselves be intimidated or not."
"That must be unsettling..."
"It is," she smiled. "I’ve never seen anyone stand up to her."
I groaned just thinking about it. I know we’re not there yet, but if we stay together long enough, I’m sure I’ll meet her one day.
"Don’t worry, baby," she said. "She just keeps that tough exterior to make sure the person is right for me. Then she’ll warm up over time."
"Her opinion matters to you, doesn’t it?"
"A lot. No matter how much I cared about someone, she always opened my eyes when it was someone bad."
"Should I be worried...?"
"Of course not," she smiled. "You’re not a bad person; she’ll see that. But if I can give you some advice, don’t let her walk all over you... Otherwise, you’re doomed," she laughed.
"Oh my God," I muttered in despair. "Finding the right balance will be tough. Tell me your dad isn’t like that too."
"Oh no, he’s the opposite. He’s a bit naive, gentle, calm, and very caring."
"You must have your father’s heart and your mother’s character then..."
"I’ve never seen it that way, but you’re probably right."
We exchanged smiles after her response. She slowly leaned in to capture my lips. The kiss was very gentle and restrained. She timidly asked for access to my mouth by teasing my lower lip with her tongue. I granted it willingly. My stomach flipped in response to this unexpected affection. With her newly freed hand, she gently moved it up to my stomach. I immediately realized she had placed it on my bruises, which I could hardly feel anymore. She pulled back to whisper softly.
"It’s my turn to put on some cream."
"I already applied some this morning..."
"The more you apply, the faster it will heal. Isn’t that what you want?" she arched an eyebrow.
"Fine," I resigned, though I pouted.
I would have preferred to get back in bed now, but there was no point in arguing when she was right. She smiled victoriously as she grabbed the tube of cream.
"Lift your shirt."
I took a deep breath and decided to take it off entirely. After all, it wasn’t the first time she’d seen me like this. My action surprised her. She lifted her head to find my eyes.
"Come on, do your job..."
Without a word, she started applying the cream to my bruised stomach. She took great pleasure in doing it thoroughly.
"On your face too?" she murmured when she was done.
"I need to take off my makeup first."
She nodded, letting me move to the sink. I quickly removed my makeup, reminded of the situation I was in. When I turned around, she was looking at me in a way that made me blush. Her smile slowly widened.
"What is it?"
"Nothing... I’m just happy to be with you, that’s all."
"We could have been together sooner if it weren’t for your behavior," I teased.
"I have a feeling you’re going to remind me of that more than once," she laughed.
"That’s the only mistake you made, so... yes, definitely."
"Come here, you little rascal, so we can finish up."
I laughed, knowing full well she was joking. At least the tension had time to dissipate before our night. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been sure I’d sleep well. I returned to her so she could finish the job before putting away the cream. I went to brush my teeth, giving her time to change. As for me, I did it in the walk-in closet where there was enough space. We came out of our rooms at the same time.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" I suggested.
Our evening had fallen through, but that didn’t stop us from continuing it. To my surprise, she shook her head.
"I’d rather we go to bed. We can watch one during the flight."
"Okay," I agreed, looking at my bed.
I sighed when I saw my brother in the middle of my bed. It was going to be more complicated than expected to spend our night in each other’s arms. He must really like Lucy to have placed himself there.
"You’ve got to be kidding me," I muttered. "We can always go to another room. There’s no shortage of them here."
"Don’t be silly," she giggled. "He’d be upset if he didn’t find us here tomorrow morning. Hang on, I’ll move him."
"Be gentle; he can be a light sleeper when he wants to be."
To our relief, she managed to move him without waking him up. She motioned for me to lie in the middle, and she quickly filled the last space in the bed. The light was quickly turned off, and Lucy’s arms tightened around me. A sigh of contentment escaped me as she kissed my forehead. I snuggled up against her, trying to close any gap between us.
"Going back to school is going to be hard," I murmured with a groan, making Lucy laugh.
"It’ll be over soon," she said, holding me a little tighter. "The hardest part is behind us now."
She was right. We were closer to the end than the beginning. I leaned up to reach her lips. Then I settled back into her arms, where I truly felt I belonged. Our evening didn’t go as planned, but it ended much better than it could have.

chapter five ♫♪♩·.¸¸
A lot of good things happened to Eddie last night. He closed a deal with his future new manager, starting their collaboration early in the new year when he fulfills his current contract and he would be free to leave. He had a long talk with his band when they were alone, finding out that they were also unhappy with the way things had been going on so far. Then there was the show - it was different, good. Eddie was nervous, which he hadn't felt for a long time and he was excited. He loved the show, he was happy again. Simply because he knew you were there, watching him. He wore his best outfit, played his favourite guitar that night, he even added a touch of eyeliner to his look, which is something he used to do in his early days, when he was still performing to the local drunks back home.
But then everything went to shit. They had just come off stage, tired but in high spirits. Eddie's fingers were still tingling from all the playing, a bead of sweat running down his temple as he dropped down to the couch in the middle of the dressing room. He rested his head on the back of the worn out couch and closed his eyes for a minute, just enjoying the moment. His heart was still racing, but it wouldn't calm down now, not when he was anxiously waiting for you. There was a knock on the door, Eddies eyes popped open. It's only been a minute, he didn't expect you so soon.
The door flew open and in walked a girl, but not the one he was looking for. This girl, he knew very well, though he wish he didn't. Madeline. The press had picked up a scent they were dating about a year ago, Eddie didn't have to think too hard about who might have leaked it. Yes, they actually went on a date once, but nothing ever came of it. Eddie had realized his mistake on taking her out half way through the date. She was pretty and very ambitious, but it wasn't hard to see what she was really after. Not Eddie, his heart or soul, but something she deemed more valuable - the immediate popularity she would get once she'd bag him, not to mention the money of course. He remained a gentleman throughout the date but told her in the car later, when he offered to drop her home, that nothing would ever come of this.
Eddie thought it would end there, but every once in a while, she would pop back up. He blocked her number, when she tried to call him. He even banned her from coming to his shows, so the fact that she was here right now, was unpredicted. Her wild eyes quickly meet his uncertain ones and she jumps on the couch, too close for comfort. ''Eddie! Great show, as always. You're such a rockstar.''
Eddie subtly shifted away from her, trying to put distance between them. ''Madeline, what are you doing here?''
''Came to see you, silly,'' she yakked, resting her manicured hand on his knee, unphased when he immediately pulled away.
''Look,'' he sighed. ''I appreciate that and everything, but you need to leave. I'm expecting someone.''
''Oh, who?'' she asked.
''That's not your concern.''
''So it's a girl then,'' she stated, pouting her lips.
Eddie's patience was running thin, he fought the urge to roll his eyes. ''Madeline, for the 100th time - I am not interested in you. You need to accept that.''
''I find that hard to believe, Eddie. Your body is saying something different, it's hot against mine.'' Madeline scooted closer and pressed her body against his, their thighs touching.
''Are you out of your mind? I just did a show.'' Eddie was baffled, Madeline was annoying but she usually took the hint. She was now close enough that he could see her bloodshot eyes up close, then she sniffed. She was high, he realized, probably on something stronger. From his peripheral vision, Eddie could see one of the guys walk to the door, opening it.
''No, Eddie. I've never been more sane.'' She grabbed him by the shoulders and smashed her lipgloss sticky lips onto his with enough force to knock the wind out of him, catching him totally off guard.
It took two seconds for his senses to kick back in and to push her off. He held Madeline by the elbows, keeping her at arm's length. But it was too late. He turned to the door and there you were, looking at him. He didn't have to guess that it was you, he got that same feeling he always got when he talked to you. His tummy tingled, heart swelled, but this time it was tainted with enormous remorse. Your eyes were glossy with unshed tears, lips trembling. When the first tear rolled down your cheek, you turned and disappeared back towards the exit.
Eddie shot up from the couch and chased after you, the door slamming shut behind him. ''Y/N! Wait, please!''
''Don't bother, Eddie,'' you shot back, voice strained and shaking.
''This isn't what it looks like, I swear,'' Eddie pleaded with you, catching up and stopping in front of you. ''Please, let me explain.''
''Move,'' you deadpanned, face vacant of any emotion except for the two dried streaks running down your cheeks. Eddie placed his hands on your upper arms, to stop you from leaving, which you instantly jerked away from, like you'd been burned.
''Please,'' he begged, ''give me a chance to explain everything.''
''Just let me leave, Eddie,'' you wiped your face, arms crossing in front of you. You refused to look at him and he couldn't ignore the stab in his heart.
''Give me five minutes and I will do anything you want,'' Eddie pleaded, dipping his head trying to catch your eyes.
Locking eyes with him, you relented. ''Two minutes.''
''The girl you saw was Madeline, we went out once a year ago and she's been trying to snake her way into my life ever since. I'm not interested her and never was. I don't know how she got in tonight, she's high on something and then she kissed me.''
''Her instagram said you sent her VIP tickets,'' you said.
''That's bullshit. I didn't send her anything but I think I know who did,'' he defended.
You considered his words for a moment, before unlinking your arms and straightening your back. ''Okay, your two minutes is up. Now, you said something about doing anything I wanted?''
''Yeah?'' he asked, sounding a bit hopeful.
''Don't contact me again, Eddie.'' With that, you pushed past him, leaving the arena, taking his heart with him.

Back in your car, you drove the few miles to your apartment instead of going back to your parents' house. You didn't have the strength to face Robin or answer any questions tonight. You dragged yourself up the stairs and pushed inside, locking the door afterwards. You stood in the middle of your living room, gathering your thoughts. The silence seemed extra haunting at this moment, seeping into your bones. You sat on the couch, kicking your boots off. Lifting your legs up, you laid down on your side, pulling a sage green fleece blanket over your shivering form, pulling it up to your chin.
When you closed your eyes, the only thing you saw were their locked lips.
After a pretty sleepless night, you decided to get up when you were awoken by the booming of thunder. You'd kept on the same position the entire night, you groaned when you stretched out on the small couch. You found your purse on the floor and fished out your phone, anticipating the amount of messages or calls from Eddie, but you found nothing. Defeated, you sighed and threw it aimlessly on the cushion next to you. You didn't know why you were disappointed, you specifically told him not to contact you. Still, there was a part of you that hoped he would... what, fight for you? He respected your wishes yet it still stung.
You waited until it was an appropriate time and called Robin to fill her in on the details, telling her you would drive back shortly. She gasped when you told her how you found Eddie in his dressing room, but Cherry was the one who spoke up, indicating Robin put the phone on speaker. ''I knew it was a good choice to bring my pepper spray. That girl needs to be sprayed immediately.''
''Wait, who are you talking about?'' you asked, mouth full of buttery toast.
''Madeline, duh,'' she said matter-of-factly.
''I'm lost,'' Robin chimed in.
''Yeah, me too. Do you know her?'' you asked.
''Not personally, but I've read about her. She's a leech, only interested in being relevant.''
You thought about what Eddie said last night. He didn't invite her and she kissed him. Were you wrong about everything? No, if Madeline was only interested in fame, what would her kissing Eddie in private get her?
''It doesn't matter, I asked him not to contact me anymore and he hasn't. So, it's over.''

Eddie was hunched over the table at breakfast, playing around with some pieces of broccoli. He didn't want to interact with anyone and he certainly didn't want anybody seeing him either, he took a good look in the mirror before and it wasn't pretty. His eyes were sunken, red rimmed from lack of sleep and overthinking. Last night was a fucking disaster. After you stormed out of the place, Eddie walked back to his dressing room, where Madeline was still perched on the couch, chatting with his manager now.
Swallowing down all of the word that were fighting to escape, instead he took a deep breath and asked Madeline to leave, threatening her with a restraining order if she ever contacted him again. It seemed to click for her, finally and she scurried out of the room.
''You sent her the tickets?'' he asked, looking straight at his soon to be former manager.
''Yes, Ed. She's pretty, could have done for some good publicity if you hadn't sent her away,'' he barely looked back at him, typing on his phone.
''You're fired.''
Looking up from his phone, he finally seemed to be alert. ''What?''
''I said, you're fired.'' Eddies fists were clenched, nostrils flared as he tried to keep his composure.
''You can't fire me, buddy, we still have a contract.''
''I'll pay you whatever I owe, with interest, just get fucking lost.''
His manager slipped his phone into his pocket and walked over to him. ''You're making a big mistake, Eddie.''
''I'd say it's the best decision I've ever made.''
''You're gonna regret this,'' his manager pointed a finger at him, stabbing it into his chest. From the corner of his eye, the other guys had joined Eddie's side.
''Doubtful,'' one of them said.
There was a tense stand off, before their manager relented and stormed out of the room, shouting something about lawyers.
Eddie sighed and fell onto the couch. He just fired his manager and they still have some shows to play, he needed to figure out what to do. But that could wait, he had more pressing matters, like how to get you back.
Eddie shook last night's memories from his mind and left the breakfast area, returning to his room. He pulled up the number for Julie, his soon to be new manager and gave her a call. Eddie was relieved when she was happy to hear from him, offering to meet up before the show and to discuss anything he needed, pro bono as she said, since she's not working for him technically, yet. Eddie had to hung up with her when there was a knock on his door. He rushed to open the door, already aware who it was.
There he stood, Wayne Munson himself, Eddie's hero. They embraced each other, Eddie breathing in his uncle's scent of cigarettes and straight black coffee. ''I'm so glad you're here.''
''Me too, kid.'' Wayne let him go and gave him a once over. ''Are you alright? You look like shit, to be blunt.''
Eddie smirked, sadly though. ''Not really.''
They sat down on Eddie's bed and he filled his uncle in on everything that had happened yesterday and prior to that too. He needed Wayne's guidance, who listened carefully and never interrupted until Eddie was finished.
''Wow,'' Wayne sighed. ''Have to say, this is an interesting way to meet someone.''
''Yeah, I... I really like this girl. I fucked up, big time,'' Eddie rubbed his hands together, only concentrating on the carpet beneath their feet.
''Don't be too hard on yourself, son. Both of you were hurt, by someone else's actions.''
''I could've stopped it though, before it even happened. I should have just kicked Madeline out as soon as I saw her. I don't- I don't know why I didn't to that.''
''People pleaser,'' Wayne smirked. ''Look, just give if a few days I say. You'll have time to process everything and think about what you really want. You have to evaluate your life, your career and find out where she fits in. I'm sure she's thinking the same thing. She has her own life and aspirations, if she wants to be with you, she'll have to make difficult choices, too.'' Wayne put a hand on Eddie's shoulder, squeezing it. Eddie looked at him and nodded along.
''So what should I do?''
''Well, if you want romantic advice from an old grump like me,'' Wayne chuckled, ''You should tell her how you feel and see what she thinks. If you let this go, you might regret it for the rest of your life. Take it from me...''
Eddie looked at his uncle, eyebrows raised in disbelief. ''You? I had no idea you-''
Wayne waved him off. ''It was ages ago, kid. Don't make the same mistake I did, is what I'm saying.''
Eddie nodded in response, taking everything in. ''Thank you. You're still coming tonight, right?'
''Wouldn't miss it for the world.''

Things were looking up. After meeting with Julie, things were looking up. Eddie couldn't break his contract or obligations, but Julie did manage to postpone the rest of the shows so he and the band could have three weeks off to recharge. After the second show, Eddie spent the next day catching up with Wayne, showing him the city. He was sad when his uncle had to fly back, but grateful they had rekindled their relationship, Eddie promised to keep in touch and he had been keeping his promise.
Right now though, he was on his way to get coffee, and something else. He was as incognito as he could get, hoodie pulled over his head, glasses perched up his nose. He hadn't spoken to you for a week and it was like his lifeline was draining. He'd gone by the shop once before, a couple of days ago but instead of going in, he walked straight past when he noticed you were at the counter. Today though, he would walk straight in, whatever happened. And he did, walking up to the empty counter, his heart threatening to burst out of his chest.
''She's not here,'' a voice called from his right. Eddie turned to see the same girl he already met, Robin, standing with two empty coffee cups. She didn't look pleased to see him, unlike last time.
''I'm actually here to see you.''
''Oh? Why's that?'' she rounded the counter, putting the cups down and leaning on her hands, staring him right in the eyes.
Eddie felt like he was under a spotlight, fidgeting with his ringed fingers. ''I-I need your help. Please.''
''With what?''
''To get Y/N back.''
Robin scoffed. ''What about your girlfriend?''
''I don't have a girlfriend,'' Eddie defended. ''I'd like one, though.''
That made Robin's cold façade falter and she sighed. ''Fine.''
Eddie recoiled, looking around if he was being pranked. ''Really?''
''Yeah, dumbass.'' Robin rolled her eyes. ''She's sad and it's your fault, but-.''
''I know, I know,'' he rushed out, holding his arms out. ''I ruined everything and I'm trying to fix it. But I need your help.''
''Don't interrupt me,'' she scolded and Eddie mumbled a sorry, looking like a kicked puppy. ''Like I was saying, she's sad and it's your fault, but she misses you, I can tell. I'm only doing this for her, not for you. So what do you need?''
''I'm not sure, exactly. Something that would help me get on her good graces again. What are her favorite flowers, for example?''
''Tulips, white ones. How do you plan on delivering these to her anyway?''
''I was hoping you'll tell me where she lives?'' Eddie pleaded.
Robin bit her lip, thinking about it, then groaned into the empty café. ''If I'm going to reveal her address, you're going to have to go all out. I was planning on giving it to her for Christmas, but this will definitely get you on her good side. She has a record player at home, she's been looking for a vinyl of R.E.M.'s 'Out of Time' album, but she hasn't found it yet. I'm sure someone of your.. occupation can get hands on that in no time.'' She also took a piece of paper and wrote down your address and apartment number.
''Thank you!'' Eddie beamed brighter than the sun, turning to leave. ''Whatever you need - I owe you big time.''
''Free entrance for life, Eddie!'' Robin called from behind him.

Tiredly dragging your feet up the stairs, you hauled two grocery bags behind you, plus a tote bag over your shoulder. After an entire day of walking around, your boots felt heavier than usual, your feet sore and back aching. Reaching the final step, you stopped in your tracks when you saw a figure standing in front of your door, sulking in the darkness of the hallway. You relaxed a bit when you saw the outline of long hair. He noticed you too, standing straight where he was leaning on the concrete wall.
''Hi,'' he said quietly. You took a few steps closer and dropped the bags next to your feet, searching for your keys. Pushing the key in, you unlocked your door and stepped in, flicking the light on.
''Hi,'' you turned to look at him, keeping the door open, your heart swooning at the white tulips he was holding, a long with what seems to be a vinyl record. ''Can you grab the bags?''
Eddie managed to get all the bags into your kitchen without dropping anything.
''Thank you,'' you whispered, leaning against the counter, your hands tied together. ''What's that?''
Eddie looked at the things he was holding and handed the flowers first. ''They're for you.''
You took the flowers from him and inhaled the bouquet. You grabbed a vase and filled it with water, popping the flowers into it.
''I also got you this,'' he held out the vinyl and you saw it was the album you had been wanting for a while. You expected Robin to give it to you for Christmas, actually.
''Eddie, I-. How did you know about this?'' You took the record from him, hugging it to your chest.
''Robin told me,'' he smiled bashfully, rubbing his neck.
''Of course she did. I don't know what to say. Thank you, so much.''
There was a brief awkward pause where Eddie didn't know what to do, neither did you. Should he leave? Should you offer him tea or coffee? You kept staring at the floor and Eddie looked at everywhere but you. When the thick silence was stretched long enough, it seemed to shake Eddie out of his trance, he reached his hand out but quickly lowered it again.
''I'm... I'm really sorry for what happened. You were right to get upset. I should have handled things better, but I fucked up. I never meant to hurt you and I'm so, so sorry. I like you, a lot, and I can't stand the fact this might be over before it even started. You're kind, funny and so beautiful it hurts. I know I've already asked you this once, but I'm asking again - please, give me one last chance.''
You looked at him, really looked at him for the first time. His big, stunningly brown eyes, that held so many emotions, you could only pick up a few - fear, sorrow, maybe hope. Perfect nose with a thin gold hoop through the left nostril, plump lips with the sharpest cupid's bow and possibly the greatest head of hair you'd ever seen. His dark brown mane was framing his face, bangs shielding his eyebrows, the soft waves falling onto his shoulders. Black leather jacket with a red flannel underneath, another crisp white shirt peeking out underneath. Simple black jeans and combat boots, three heavy rings on his left hand, one simple ring on the other.
You'd called him pretty before, but he was so much more in real life. He was soft and inviting, but with an edge to him. You felt a pull towards him, you wanted nothing more than to put the record down and jump into his arms. It was hard to look away from his awaiting eyes, so you turned your back to him, placing the vinyl on your kitchen counter.
''Eddie, I forgive you. I understand it wasn't your fault, but I'm not sure if we would work. Romantically speaking...''
''What? Why would you think that?''
You turned to face him again, your throat constricting when you tried to speak. ''I-I just... You're you and I'm me. We live completely different lives. I'm not interested in a long distance relationship.''
''I get it, I've thought about that too,'' he took a step closer ''but we can make it work. I have two weeks off right now and when we finish the rest of the tour, I'm going to take a long break, months long. Shit, maybe even a couple of years. I want to make this work, if you'd let me. I want to take you out on dates, show you the world, see you on the side of the stage when I'm back on it some day.''
Eddie took his hand and gently placed it on your neck, his thumb rubbing the apple of your cheek when you closed your eyes to the touch. ''I'm scared.''
''You don't have to be scared, I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere if you don't want me to,'' Eddie whispered, you could feel his face leaning closer to you so you opened your eyes, hypnotized by the brown irises staring back at you. His eyes dipped down to your lips for a second, then came back again.
''I don't want you to go,'' you whispered, gripping the edge of the counter behind your back.
''Yeah? What do you want then?'' His nose brushed yours, lips so close you could already feel the warmth of his skin.
''You.''
Eddie's lips finally brushed yours and everything else faded away. It was just the two of you, in the middle of your kitchen, diving into the unknowns. The kiss was feather light, like he was afraid to have more, fearing you would pull away too soon. But you craved more, so you grabbed the back of his neck and drew him closer, earning a soft hum from him. Eddie's other hand found your waist, circling it with new found confidence and holding you close. His lips massaged yours, poking his tongue out to run it over the seam of your mouth. Granting him access, you let out a tiny moan when he happily licked into your mouth.
He whined when you pulled away too soon. ''About that date you mentioned...''
''Yeah?'' he asked, settling his forehead against yours, stealing one more quick kiss.
''I was planning on staying in tonight, just hanging out. W-would you like to stay? I could make dinner and later we could watch a movie, or something.''
''That sounds perfect.''
.•♫•♬•
Eddie helped you put all the groceries away. He'd shrugged off his leather jacket, hanging it by the front door. You'd agreed to have pasta for dinner and once the noodles were boiling on the stove, he watched you wrap a few early Christmas presents, ones that you pulled out of your tote bag. He realized that being with you like this was the easiest thing ever, you settled into small talk easily, Eddie making his way around your kitchen like it was natural. He imagined this could be his reality and he didn't mind that idea, not one bit. He'd strain the pasta once it was done and tell you about his uncle, you'd finish taping up the last present and tell him about a crazy customer you had at the café. It was simple, but perfect.
You handed him plates from a cabinet and he set the small table by your window for two. You set the lighting right and lit a scented candle in the middle of the table. The meal went by slow, you were doing more talking than eating that by the time you were both done, the last bites were ice cold.
''This was great, thank you,'' Eddie offered.
You simply smiled in return and took his hand, bringing him along to the living room area. Plopping down on the couch, you pulled Eddie next to you and settled in comfortably, laying a blanket over your figures. You put on Netflix and handed him the remote, pulling your knees up. Eddie subtly stretched his arm out over the back of the couch, scrolling through various movie options when he felt you lean into him.
''What do you want to watch?'' he smiled to himself.
''Hmmm...'' you thought about it. ''The Grinch?''
''It's November.''
''So? My holiday season starts November 1st!'' you defended, pouting your lips at him.
Eddie snickered and kissed your forehead. ''Okay, okay. The Grinch it is.''
The movie started and you relaxed into his side. While your eyes were glued to the TV screen, Eddie's were wandering around. He wasn't subtle with his gawking either, memorizing all of the features on your face. Your eyes, nose, slightly parted lips, your elongated neck that was begging to be kissed, your perfect chest moving up and down with your steady breathing. He definitely shouldn't be staring, he felt like a creep but he couldn't look away either. He was brought out of his bubble when you shifted a little bit, placing your hand on his thigh.
Eddie focused his eyes back on the movie, praying it will distract him enough not to grow hard just from your simple touch. However, he realized you might not be so innocent in your act as he first thought. Your hand crept upwards, sometimes squeezing. His breath hitched when your pinky grazed his crotch, causing him to involuntarily buck his hips. Taking the same hand that was around your frame, he turned your face towards him, his big hand enveloping nearly the entire side of your face. Without wasting a second, he kissed you, plunging his tongue into your mouth, swallowing your surprised moan. The kiss was sloppy, urgent, you tasted so good it made him dizzy.
''Tell me you want this as much as I do,'' he mumbled, your mouths still atttached.
''Please,'' you begged, discarding the blanket and flinging your leg over his waist, situating yourself on his warm lap. Eddie's hand came around your middle, helping you grind against his growing thickness. You threw your arms around his neck, kissing him passionately. Eddie slid his hands lower, grabbing two handfuls of your ass, leaving your mouth to focus on your neck. He bit your skin, smoothing the ache with his tongue right after. The thought of him marking you up, so you had to wear turtlenecks to work, drove him wild. He mapped out your neck, proud of the already blossoming pink patches, then dipped lower to lick a stripe from your throat down to the valley between your breasts. You gasped when he yanked down the neckline of your tank top and licked the top of your boob, switching to give the other one the same affection.
Eddie grunted in annoyance when your bra stopped him, looking up at you with questioning eyes. Once you nodded in approval, he pulled down the cups of your balconette bra, almost going cross eyed when your supple breast fell out.
''Fucking perfect, baby,'' he groaned and took one of your nipples into his mouth, rolling his tongue around the bud, sucking it harshly before letting it go with a 'pop'.
''Ed, please'' you yanked on his hair to get his attention.
''What do you need? Tell me, honey.''
''Need you, hurry up.''
Eddie smirked and helped you up, pushing your shirt up this time so he could kiss your stomach, dipping his tongue into your bellybutton. His fingers made quick work of your pants, popping the button and dragging the zipper down, ''Okay?''
''Yes,'' you pulled your top over your head and let it drop to the floor. Sneaking your fingers back into his hair, Eddie's eyes rolled to the back of his skull when you scratched your nails across his head. He helped you out of your pants, then ran his hands along your thighs, spreading your legs more. Wrapping his hands around your thighs, his rings were cool against your heated skin when he pulled you closer to him. He pushed his face into your covered mound and inhaled deeply, letting out a satisfied hum.
''Can I?'' he asked, hooking his fingers into your panties, not yet slipping them down until he had your permission. ''Need to see it, baby. Been dreaming of this pussy for so long.''
''Please,'' you pleaded once again, running your fingers along his jawline. He placed a quick kiss on your palm, then dragged down the last piece of fabric separating him from your pussy, the lace sticking to your core. You stepped out of them and Eddie lifted one of your legs, planting your foot on the armrest of the couch, giving him the perfect view of your wet cunt.
“Oh, it’s dripping, sweetheart. This all for me? Not sure I deserve it.” Eddie took his sweet time, kissing your pubic bone and tonguing between your legs, but avoiding your centre completely.
“Please, Eds, stop torturing me.”
“‘m sorry, babe. Just wanted to savor this. Let me make it up to you.”
He finally poked his tongue out, tasting you for the first time. Your hips bucked into his face when he took a tentative lick through your folds, the tip of his tongue flicking your swollen clit. From the first taste of your nectarine, Eddie was addicted. His enthusiasm only increasing, he lapped at your pussy, dipping his wet muscle into your tight hole, feeling it suck him in immediately. Going back for your clit, he closed his mouth around your bud and sucked harshly.
“Fuck, that’s so good,” your head thrown back, you grinded your hips against his face. You felt his hand sneak up your thigh, his fingers circling your opening before pushing his middle finger in all the way until you felt the cool metal against your flesh.
“So fucking good, you’re doing so good for me. This little cunt is sucking me right in, can barely fit. Think you can take two, baby?” Adding his ring finger, Eddie struggled to make it fit. He wondered how his cock would fit if his fingers had difficulty. Eventually, your walls relented and let him fuck up into you. The divine taste of you still present on his tongue, he worked you open with his digits and dove back in to flick your clit up and down in quick motions. He could tell you were getting close, your moans were getting more high pitched, your breathing erratic and your toes were curled. A couple minutes later, you moaned loudly and released all over his tongue which he eagerly lapped up, not letting a single drop go to waste.
He helped you sit back on his lap, your head resting against his shoulder, puffs of air hitting his neck whilst he was rubbing your back. “You good?”
“Good, great, amazing…” you breathlessly replied.
“Was it better than in your book?”
“I mean it was real, so yeah.”
He let you gather yourself for a moment, just holding you, although the erection he had was becoming unbearable. Eddie felt your lips skim his neck, leaving soft butterfly kisses in your wake. You bit down on his earlobe, running your tongue over it to soothe the small ache. Eddie let his head fall back, looking at you through hooded eyelids as you reached behind you to unclasp your bra, letting it fall on the couch.
“This is unfair. I’m completely naked but you’re still dressed,” you pouted and ran your hands along his chest, popping the buttons of his flannel.
“Better help me out then,” he smirked, kneading your ass as you continued to unbutton his shirt, kissing every new inch of skin you revealed. Soon, his shirt was on the floor and you were working on his belt. Once his pants were open, your hand dipped under his boxers to run a finger over his cock, tracing a vein on the underside. He lifted his hips so you could pull his pants and underwear down enough to free his throbbing cock from it’s cage. It bounced up, against his stomach, leaving a sticky mess in his happy trail. Eddie groaned when you wrapped your hand around him, pulling back his foreskin to reveal his slit, pre cum leaking from the tip, which you used as lube. You started to climb down, but Eddie stopped you.
“Not this time, princess. Tonight’s all about you. You got a condom? I didn’t really prepare for this.”
You got up from his lap and jogged to your kitchen, Eddie watching your ass juggle. You opened your medicine drawer and searched around until you retrieved the foil packet. Eddie took it from you, ripping it open with his teeth and rolling it on, all the while keeping eye contact with you as your eyes were focused on his lap.
“C’mere.” He held his hand out for you. You grabbed it and took your place back on his lap, his cock situated perfectly between your folds. He grabbed the base of his cock and rubbed the tip through your lips, gathering the wetness. He positioned the tip at your entrance and waited.
“Whenever you’re ready,” he breathed.
You grabbed his shoulders and sank down on him, inch by inch until there was no space left between you and you had taken all of him.
“Eddie, oh my God,” you moaned, fingernails pressing into his shoulders, leaving behind crescent moon shapes.
“So tight, Jesus Christ.”
Eddie was already seeing stars, he had to focus all of his remaining energy into not coming right this second. Your warm walls enveloped him, pulsing around his shaft. You rose up and slammed back down again, already accustomed to the stretch.
“You’re so perfect, fuck. Taking me so well,” he praised, hands grabbing your waist, helping you bounce on his dick.
You whimpered. “Keep talking.”
“Oh yeah? You love it when I talk like this, baby? That get you all riled up? Look at you, working my cock like that. Feels so fucking good, doesn’t it?”
You nodded and bounced harder, your rhythm faltering. Eddie slouched down lower on the couch, anchoring his feet to the ground and started fucking into you.
“Fuuuck, good girl. Letting me use you like this, like a fucking fleshlight. You’re just a little cock hungry whore, huh? Are you just a hole for me to use however I please? Your pussy is mine now, say it. Who’s pussy is this?”
“I-it’s yours, Eddie, only yours.”
“Damn right. It is mine, I’ll fuck it whenever I want. Stretch your cunt out so good, you’ll beg me to go easy on you. But you don’t want easy, do you? You want it rough. Fuck.”
“Don’t stop, please, please, please,” one of your hands slipped between your legs, toying with your clit.
Eddie grunted at the sight, wrapping both of his hands around your throat, squeezing your neck enough to make you lightheaded. “Yeah, play with that clit, rub it for me. Can still taste you on my tongue, you want to know what you taste like?”
He pulled you in, smashing his lips against yours, his tongue meeting yours in the middle. The kiss was messy, spit drooling from the side of your mouth. Your fingers sped up, your pussy clenching down on him harder and harder. Eddie felt his own stomach twist up as well.
“You close, baby? I need you to cum, fuck. I’m so fucking close.”
“I’m so- Fuck, oh my God Eddie, I’m coming, I’m coming!” You cried out, tears streaming down your face, the drops falling onto Eddie’s forearm. He was close behind, feeling his balls tighten up in a telltale sign. He groaned into your mouth and jerked his hips a few final times before releasing into the condom.
Both of you breathing like you’d just ran a marathon, Eddie let go of your neck, the red and purple skin left behind almost enough to get him hard again. You fell forward on his chest, resting your head against his shoulder, catching your breath. Eddie thrashed his legs around, shoving his boots and pants off. He stood up, taking you with him. You squealed and wrapped your legs around his waist, his cock slipping out of you.
“Bedroom?”
You pointed him in the right direction and he took careful steps, mindful of the clothes laying around. Once in your bedroom, he gently placed you on the bed, kissing your temple. When you didn’t let go, he chuckled.
“Be right back, promise.” He helped you under the covers and disappeared back into the hallway, looking for a bathroom. When he found it, he discarded the condom and washed his hands, eyeing the couple of lovebites you’d left on him. When he made it back to you, you were already asleep. Eddie crawled next to you, pulling you tightly against his front, settling his hand on your waist, lazily drawing random shapes on your tummy until sleep took him, too.
.•♫•♬•
It was raining again, the patter on the windowsill lulling you from your sleep. You were warm and cozy, limbs tangled with someone else’s. You’d almost forgotten about last night, thinking it was a fidget in your imagination. But Eddie proved to be real when he stirred behind you, his deep sigh hitting the back of your neck, one arm hugging you closer to his body. You hummed, reaching behind you to grasp his neck. Memories of last night came flooding back, reminding you of the delicious ache between your legs.
“Morning beautiful,” a low, raspy voice sounded from behind you, goosebumps spreading across your skin. Christ, you could get used to hearing his morning voice every day.
“I don’t remember the last time I slept this good,” you mumbled.
“You need to sleep with me every day, then,” he said, squeezing your hip.
You snorted. “You wish.”
He pressed a kiss to your shoulder, his lips moving against your flesh. “I do.”
You turned to him, his baby cow eyes already staring back at you. You were trying to see any deception in them, but all you saw was adoration and honesty.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you gulped, bottom lip caught between your teeth.
“It means I want you.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.”
“How would that work? I can’t follow you around everywhere you go.”
“I know that and I don’t expect you to, even though it would be cool. What I do know, is this - I’m taking a long break and I want to be with you, every single day. After that too, I’m not going to dump you when I have to go on stage again if that’s what you’re worried about. We’ll figure everything out. So if you’d have me, I promise I will work my ass off every day to prove to you that you’re not making a mistake.”
“Eddie… I don’t know what to say.”
“Say yes,” he begged “Be mine. Would you be my girlfriend?”
You laid your hand on top of this, the one still holding your hip. Your heart was beating so fast, you thought it would explode any second. You had a moment to think about all the roads this relantionship could take you, expecting it to end horribly. But even with the potholes and wonky curves, you saw yourself ending up where you belonged - with him.
“Yes.”
His lips covered your before you even finished that word. You felt him smile into the kiss, he was putting everything he had into it. His tongue grazed the seam of your lips, asking for access which you happily granted. He moaned when your tongue met his, his nose ring brushing your nostril.
His fingers skiddled across your hip to the curve of your ass, squeezing your butt. He broke the kiss too soon for your liking and violently pushed you back on your side. Eddie kissed a line down your spine, then licked a fat stripe back up, ending at the base of your neck. Your whole body shivered in anticipation, core getting slick with excitement. Eddie continued his assault, burying his face in the crook of your neck, breathing in deep.
His cock was pressed against your ass, a smudge of liquid dripping down. The hair on his abdomen tickling your lower back. You whimpered when he gripped one of your breasts, circling his thumb over your areola, then pinching your nipple until it was perked up.
''Eddieee...'' you whined, kicking your legs.
''Need somethin', darling?'' he traced the tip of his nose on the shell of your ear, his palm sliding from your breast all the way down, his thick fingers slipping through your dewy folds. Bringing his fingers back up, he circled your clit with his middle finger, barely adding any pressure, chuckling when you bucked your hips to get more friction.
''Need you so bad, please,'' you mewled, grinding your ass against his crotch, getting a hiss out of him.
''Condom?'' he asked, adjusting his hips, so his cock nestled directly between your legs, swaying his hips back and forth, the head of his cock parting your folds, bumping your clit with every stroke.
''My boyfriends don't need to wear one.''
''Fucking Christ,'' he let out a deep groan, lining himself up with your weeping hole and pushing inside, sliding to the brim in a single thrust. You choked on a moan, his cock was so deep, you could feel him in your throat. He stilled for a moment, letting you adjust, his mushroom tip bruising your cervix.
''Move,'' you cried, gripping his forearm that was resting against your belly, his fingers massaging your flesh.
He pulled back all the way and slammed back in, not bothering to be polite. You still weren't 100% adjusted to his size, but the burn mixed with the way his cock pierced your insides was euphoric. It was embarrassing how close you were already, but you blamed it on the early morning, you were always more sensitive in the early hours of the day.
''Feel so fucking good, baby. You like my bare cock fucking you like this? You gonna let me come inside too? Fill your sweet pussy up, have it leak out of your abused cunt all day, huh?''
You were too far gone to reply, the only sounds in the room your moans and Eddie's groans mixed with the wet slapping of skin against skin. Eddie was a talker though, never shutting up about how good you felt, how perfect you were for him.
''You were made for me, this pussy was carved for my dick. You're mine, only mine. Mine to fuck, mine to use, however I want. God, fuck. You're gonna make me come already. You gonna let me fill you up, baby? Shoot my fat load so deep in your pussy, you're gonna fucking taste it.''
''Y-yeah, please... Come inside me, please. Wanna feel it, Eds.''
''Fuck, I'm coming, baby. Come with me, come on.'' His thrusts were faster, sloppier, he was losing his rhythm. You were so close too, but needed the extra push so you gripped his wrist and pushed his hand lower. He caught on immediately, roughly circling your puffy clit with two fingers. It was enough to send you over the edge, both of you losing yourselves to the pleasure, Eddie spurting his cum inside of you, your mixed juices leaking down your thigh.
When you came down, Eddie pecked your cheek. He went to pull out, but you stopped him. ''Just stay, wanna be like this for a minute.''
''Whatever you want, princess. I'm all yours.''

December 25th. One of your favorite days of the year. The ground was white, more snow falling behind the window, illuminated by the streetlamps outside. You were so full of amazing food, a little tipsy on raspberry punch. Christmas celebrations started yesterday, when you and Eddie flew out to Indiana to spend Christmas Eve with his uncle, Wayne. He was as sweet as he was in the stories Eddie had told you, if not more. There wasn't a moment where you weren't smiling, looking at the two of them bickering over Eddie's high school days.
You flew back this morning, where you spent the entire day preparing for Robin and Cherry to come over. Tomorrow you would go to your parents' house, which Eddie was super nervous about. The evening was spent with good food and drinks, smooth Christmas music coming from a portable speaker, great conversation. When the girls finally left, it was close to midnight. Eddie had asked you to dance, now the two of you were swaying to the music in front of your Christmas tree, decorated with ornaments, fake snow and at the very top, instead of a typical star, with a paperclip, was a polaroid selfie of you and Eddie, taken a week ago in front of the same tree.
''In case I haven't told you yet, you look so beautiful tonight.''
Your arms were linked around his neck, Eddie's arms wrapped around your waist. You followed his lead, heads close together, breathing in each other's air. You were wearing a rich purple dress with black stockings, with simple make up accentuated with a pair of earrings Eddie had gifted you this morning. And yes, they were drop earrings with sliced kiwis at the bottom. Where he had even found them, you had no idea, he refused to tell you. You had given him a pack of guitar picks, with his initials engraved on them.
''First of all, only tonight?'' you teased. ''Second, you've told me about fifty times today, but I'm not tired of hearing it yet.''
''Hmm.. Can I tell you something I haven't, yet? Something I've been wanting to say for a while now.''
Your heart skipped several beats, mouth going as dry as cotton balls. You had a feeling of what he wanted to say. You had been thinking the same thing recently, but you hadn't found the right moment to say it. Today, it had been nagging on your mind specially hard. True to his word, you and Eddie had spent nearly every day together, except for that one day where you had the flu and told him to stay away so he wouldn't get sick either. He survived one day until he came banging on your door, begging you to let him in so he could take care of you. He had basically moved in since that first night you spent together. You had made room in your dresser for his clothes, his toothbrush was next to your in the bathroom, the fridge was filled with his favorite drinks. It was fast, clearly, but you wouldn't have it any other way.
''O-okay,'' you gulped.
''I love you, Y/N.'' he breathed out, like a weight leaving his shoulders, but immediately rushed out, ''You don't have to say it back, I just felt like I was about to burst if I didn't tell you. You're so amazing and perfect and gorgeous, I'm so happy you're mine and I'm so in love with you I honestly might die if you don't feel the same, but like I said, no press-''
You cut his rambling off by grabbing his face in your hands and smashing your lips together, tears running down your face. Eddie secured his arms around you and pulled you so close, your feet were hanging in the air. You pulled away, your lipgloss having transferred to his mouth, his eyes sparkling. ''I love you too, Eddie.''
''Yeah?''
''Yeah, so much.''
You squealed and laughed when he lifted you up and spun you around, your hair flowing. He put you down, kissed the top of your head and held you so tight you were struggling to breathe, but you didn't dare tell him that. You felt safe and truly loved, securely caged in his arms, smiling into his dress shirt while you slow danced the night away.

That's the day that Chad and I found out that the show wasn't coming back. Or the, that I'm sorry, I take it back. That the show was coming back just without us. -Hilarie
Wait, the day you were shooting your flaming Amy's flashback. Tell us everything. -Sophia
Well, we'd shot everything else. Right? -Hilarie
Wait, wait, wait. So you were doing these flashbacks, these like this deep nostalgia episode, not knowing that it was teeing up the exit. -Sophia
I was put in the blonde wig again as punishment for having red hair. Right. And I noticed a conversation with like Brooke and Victoria where it was like, are you really gonna leave the company and ruin the careers of all the people that you've been?  Like such a pointed conversation for you to have to have 'cause we were all in contract negotiations at this point, except me. I had never gotten a phone call from anybody. And so they were making offers to everybody and everyone was trying to hold the line. And all they needed were a couple people to sign on in order for the show to come back. And Chad and I never even got phone calls. So we were seated in that diner booth and we're like, it's our last day of filming. We did all of the present day stuff, we did most of the flashback stuff. And all of a sudden our producer Greg Prange is like, all right, everybody like pause what you're doing, circle up. Just wanted to make the announcement. The show is coming back. We've been picked up for a seventh season. And Chad looks at me and he's like, have you even gotten an offer? And I was like, no. And he's like, I haven't gotten an offer. And so around us, everyone around us is like hugging and high fiving. I mean, it felt like balloons were dropping from the ceiling. Everybody was so fucking pumped. And he and I just kind of sat there and we knew it was coming. We had, you know, Peyton got hit by a car in the last episode. She's on her death bed, you know, and he and I were the highest paid actors on the show. And we knew we were on the chopping block. And so our bosses, Voldemort and other Dipshits were in town. And we said, can they come to set? They were at the production office and we were at Flaming Amy's. We like, can they come to set? It's only, it's two o'clock in the afternoon. Can they come here and just like explain to us what's going on? Is there something, can someone just talk to us? They refused. They would not come speak to us. And instead they took other actors out to dinner that night to celebrate. And so Chad and I wrap work and I gotta take that fucking wig off. and you know, there's a sense of betrayal 'cause you're like, huh, okay cool. We didn't hold the line and so we'll go be the expendable ones. Fuck it. And Chad and I decide for the first time ever in our time together in Wilmington, that we are gonna go out together and we are gonna tie one on. And so Chad and I ended up at the Whiskey, which was like a bar right on the corner of downtown. You know, and like metal bands played there. And Bibis, our friend would play there all the time until two o'clock in the morning. He and I are just like sweating and smoking and drinking and dancing. And Chad's a very good dancer and every college chick in the place is like, oh my God, it's Lucas and Peyton and they're really together and this is so crazy. And it was insane. And so then from two to three o'clock in the morning we sat on, on like a retaining wall downtown and just really discussed like, we're out. We've had this shit dangled over our heads. There's no one here who's fighting for us. You know, the friendships are fake. It's not real. And we're gonna go and we're just gonna do some other stuff and we'll always tell each other the truth. You know? And so he walked me home and I remember that also being kind of weird. It felt like a date. It's the one date that Chad and I went on and it was very platonic. And then I called him a cab. And even the cab driver was like, I'm picking up Lucas Scott from Peyton Sawyers house.  It was crazy. But from that moment on for the whole rest of this season, it was, it was hell. It was really bad. It was really bad. 'cause it was, it was so pointed, you know, I'd been the person to do every upfront, every TCA every advertiser dinner party. I hosted the launch party for the CW  I had been the company girl and it was the biggest fuck you. -Hilarie
But Chad and I had this magic night. We still laugh about it. I mean it was, it was probably the hardest I ever partied in Wilmington. And he didn't really drink, so I remember being shocked. Shocked, That he was drinking his like vodka cranberries or whatever he was drinking. We were both just so blindsided by it.  Like we, we knew it was coming, but until it happens. -Hilarie

breathe in. breathe out. it's just one song. record it all in one go, ignore billy's stupid complaints, and then go home.
well, what used to be home.
“daisy, you ready to go?” she heard teddy ask from the other side of the recording booth. “yeah, i'm fine. let's get this over with.” the redhead said before taking a sip of the glass of cold water she had next to her. she closed her eyes as she felt the liquid make its way through her throat.
breathe in. breathe out. she opened her eyes to find the band and camila next to teddy, all smiling encouragingly at her. daisy was about to smile back when the door to the recording studio opened abruptly. “holy shit, tell me i'm not late.”
oh fuck.
daisy felt like her heart was about to beat out of her chest. why is she here? she was supposed to be in new york, not los angeles.
“y/n! you are kind of late.. hope it was for a good reason.” warren said with a wink “tell me the guy at least fucks good.” the drummer added while wiggling his eyebrows.
the blue-eyed singer wanted to disappear. she tried to distract herself by playing with the hems of her long-sleeved white shirt. huh, funny. daisy thought. she always loved it when i wore this one.
“yeah, warren. he fucked better than you ever will.” y/n answered, not before rolling her eyes at their friend.
they didn't know y/n didn't fuck any guy last night.
they didn't know y/n would never fuck a guy. ever. they didn't know y/n was late because she didn't know if she could face her ex girlfriend after she told her she was leaving for good. they hadn't seen each other for two weeks, and it was fucking torture for both of them. they had grown so used to always waking up next to each other, cooking together, and doing pretty much everything together, and god did it feel weird to not see each other for longer than a day.
daisy felt like she couldn't breathe when y/n left. she always had to remind herself to breathe in and breathe out. it was as if the girl before her took all the oxygen in the world when she walked out of daisy's front door. right. she remembered bitterly as she felt the fabric of the shirt in her hands.
 daisy's front door. daisy's home.
because she refused to move in with her even after three years of secretly seeing each other. she refused to let anyone know about their relationship. not even simone, who is like… them. and daisy understood, she obviously did.
it was dangerous to be one of the world's most famous singers and openly date a woman. openly love a woman. openly say the word lesbian. people would crucify you in the street if they knew you were a homosexual. that was the main reason y/n was scared, she was just a tour photographer who happened to become close with the band and fall in love with daisy on the way. if the world knew she was into women, she would never get another job.
daisy tried to tell her they would be okay, to screw the rest of the world. they loved each other. how could that ever be bad? as far as she knew, love wasn't a bad thing. but maybe she only thought that because she didn't have much experience with it. her parents hated her. men used her. she only has the band, simone, and y/n. had y/n. not anymore.
“daisy!” her name being yelled at her got her out of the trance she was in. “are you going deaf or are you just high as shit?” eddie asked from the microphone.
“she's in recovery, eddie. stop joking about that.” she heard a soft voice she could recognize anywhere snap back at him. “right, sorry.” the bassist said with his hands held up high as a way of showing surrender.
y/n looked at her and they made eye contact for a solid second. daisy gave her a small smile and looked down. “alright, let's get this party started!” warren hollered as daisy put her headphones on to start recording. “okay, the end of love, take one.”
the redhead remembered to breathe as she heard the first notes of the song.
i feel nervous in a way that can't be named.
i dreamt last night of a sign that read, the end of love.
she looked up and saw y/n drumming her fingers against her waist. she obviously knew the song was about her. ever since daisy met the photographer, almost every song she has written has been about her. the singer wrote the end of love the day after y/n walked out of her new york apartment.
it's pitiful, she thinks. even when they're not romantically together anymore, she still writes about her.
and i remember thinking even in my dreaming.
it was a good line for a song.
daisy tried to steady her breathing but when she looked at y/n she felt like she was about to pass out.
 breathe in. breathe out.
breathe in. i can't fucking do this.
the flower-named girl placed her headphones down and said a quick “i need some fresh air.” before storming out of the recording booth. daisy walked through god knows how many rooms, until she found an empty one in the back of the building, she sat on the floor and leaned against the door she had just walked through.
you dumb fucking idiot, she thought. now they're all going to think you´re singing about someone in the room, or even worse, that you've relapsed and can't record a damn song. she can't go through this again.
if the band thinking she was in love with billy dunne, when she's not even into men, was bad enough, them seeing her overreact this way is going to make them figure out she has been seeing someone.
there was a minute of silence while she tried to think of an excuse to say when she gets back into the studio, but it was all interrupted by a soft knock coming from the other side of the wooden door she has been leaning against.
“i'm fine, karen. just give me a second.” the blue-eyed girl said while running a hand through her long red hair.
“i'm not karen, but if you want me to go get her, i can do that.” her heart sank as she heard y/n's voice.
“no!” she heard her own voice answer in a quick desperate way. she grimaced at how pathetic she sounded.
“well, is it okay if i come in?”
one beat. two beats. daisy unlocked the door.
the photographer walked into the room and sat on the opposite side of the singer, facing her. “do you want to talk about it?”
 “talk about what?”
the girl sighed and leaned her face against the palm of her right hand. “about what just happened. you don't normally walk out of a recording session, daisy. not ever. are you okay?” she asked as she looked straight into daisy's big blue eyes.
the singer stared back and bit her lip as she felt her eyes start to water. “i miss you.”
“daisy-”
“no.” she interrupted. “you say you love me but then decide to break up with me.” she says with a scoff. “without even letting me ask you what i did wrong. without even letting me try and fight for you. for us.” a tear streamed down her right cheek.
it took everything in the girl before her to not wipe it, the way she always did.
“listen, i understand being scared. do you think i'm not frightened of how the boys will react if they ever find out we are the way we are? but i didn't care as long as i had you. i know you have your doubts. but why did we have to hide from everyone? simone would never treat us differently. we both know she's a lesbian. just like you and i.” she pointed a finger at herself and the girl who now wouldn't dare to look her in the eye.
“karen wouldn't either, she's too busy minding her own fucking business to be disgusted by us. even camila wouldn't care, she'd be delighted to know i've never felt an ounce of love for her husband” daisy was fully crying now. god, she loved her girlfriend so much. why wasn't that enough for her?
“i left for that exact reason.”
“what?” she asked.
“you deserve someone who isn't afraid to love you. who isn't afraid of who she is.” y/n continued. “you know, billy and graham saw simone kiss her girlfriend at your birthday party” she said with a sarcastic laugh. “and they didn't give a single shit.” daisy was silent as she listened intently to her ex-girlfriend's voice.
“when simone realized they saw her, she told them they'd been together for over five years. and shit, they truly didn't care. even warren said it wasn't fair simone found a girlfriend way before he met lisa.” y/n played with the rings placed around her fingers to avoid eye contact. “the entire band knows about simone, and they think it's normal.”
daisy's heart was racing, she didn't know if it was excitement for simone, because her best friend was able to love her girlfriend without a care. or if it was happiness, because the rest accepting simone could only mean one thing. if the six don't care about simone and her girlfriend, then that means they won't care about her and y/n.
the photographer was silent for a while, so daisy decided to speak first. “i don't really understand. you left me because you're afraid of them knowing about us. but, you also know they wouldn't care if they find out?” the singer´s eyes scanned her ex girlfriend´s face, trying to find an answer.
“yeah… it's stupid.”
“damn right, it fucking is!” daisy sighed. “i love you. you love me. we can at least tell them and simone about our relationship.”
y/n was the one holding back tears now. “i want to. i truly do.”
“then what's stopping you?” her voice softened at the sight of the girl she loves the most crying in front of her.
“I can't openly love you, not when i can't even say… well, you know what.”
“god, y/n. you didn't tell me you were still struggling with that. i could've helped you.”
“i know you would've, but i didn't want to be a burden.” daisy slowly raised her arm and caressed y/n's cheek in the soft, loving way she always does. “you're not a burden. not ever. not to me.” the flower-named girl tucked the girl's hair behind her ear.
“i love you. i love you so fucking much, i can't breathe when i'm without you.” she continued. “you helped me when i was trying to recover from my addiction. you were there when i got out of rehab. you've helped me stay clean.”
“that was all you, daisy.”
“yeah, but you were next to me the entire time. the least i can do is be next to you, while you learn to accept yourself.”  “it took me a while to come to terms with being a lesbian, too.” daisy said as she twirled a piece of y/n's hair around her finger.
“i used to think the only way i could make it into the industry was by not caring about men stealing my music because at least people would hear them. fuck, i forced myself to want them, the same way they wanted me. because that was the closest i thought i'd ever get to being loved.” “but that's not what love is. love is what you and i have.”
y/n placed her hand over daisy's. “i want to be brave, for you.”
“you already are. you just need to be brave for yourself. because you deserve it.”
“thank you, for everything.”  y/n gave her a soft small smile. “you don't have to thank me for anything, seeing you smile is good enough for me.”
the two women locked eyes, and they just stared at each other for a small moment. y/n's hands began to shake with desperation, she craved the feeling of daisy against her. and suddenly, she felt a force pulling her towards the redhead girl, daisy placed her hands on both sides of y/n's waist, and instinctively, as if her body was made to be next to her's, y/n placed her hands behind daisy's neck, the same way she has done for the past few years, their bodies were pieces of a puzzle made to be together.
they both leaned into each other, they were so close, they could feel each other's noses rubbing together, daisy smiled at the sensation. “can i-” daisy started “you don't even have to ask.” the girl interrupted, before smashing her lips into the singer's.
their lips locked, the two women having been in the exact same position hundreds of times, but this was different. this kiss was about understanding, about forgiveness, about acceptance, about moving forward. it lasted a few more moments until they were out of breath and had to pull away.
“i love you, daisy jones.” the girl whispered against daisy's lips. “i love you, y/n l/n.” she answered with glossy, vibrant eyes. before getting back into her usual cocky self.
“well, not to spoil my amazing new song, which is going to be a hit, but there's a specific lyric i think you're going to like.” she said, trying to fight back a smile. y/n rolled her eyes at her girlfriend's antics.
“oh yeah? what is it?” daisy cupped y/n's cheeks and stared lovingly into her lover's eyes. “i've always been in love with you. could you tell it from the moment that i met you?” the redhead sang before kissing her beautiful girlfriend again, and again, and again.
daisy still had to finish recording her song, and they still had to explain what took the photographer so long to find her, but luckily, this time y/n wasn't afraid to tell them the truth.
we were reaching in the dark
that summer in new york
and it was so far to fall
but it didn't hurt at all.

Seriously, now!?
Astarion x Named!Tav
Plot: (Set in late act 1 early act 2) After causing a scene, embarrassing and being shouted at by their own resident wizard, Winnie storms off alone to sulk. Her monthly bleeding is upon her and is making everything seem so much worse! But perhaps her vampiric lover can make it all better?
Warnings/content: Period comfort fic (because I needed it), emotional MC, soft Astarion, Galeshaming (I'm sorry for constantly bullying Gale), Winnie is honestly being a bit petty, but Astarion doesn't care really, he's on her side anyway, angst, fluff, comfort, a wee bit of smut at the end, oral (female receiving), MDNI, possibly ooc moments, possible grammar/ spelling mistakes.
Tumblr media
After finding only disappointment and danger from their failure at the githyanki creché, Winnie and her merry band of weirdos were now turning towards the mountain path that would lead them onward to Moonrise. They'd run into a little confrontation on the way, had to fight some undead baddies and then met face to face with the famed 'Elminster.' Winnie had no idea who he was, nor did she really care. All she was concerned with was that this guy came into her camp ate all HER cheese and then told her friend his ex wanted him to go kill himself. Needless to say the young druid was not that impressed. Despite dreaming of being a wizard as a child, Winnie had never heard of this man before. The village she was born in had been pretty cut off from the rest of the world so all the stories of heroes from all over were never told to the children living there.
"I can't believe you! Picking a fight with an old man." Gale exclaimed looking over at Winnie with disapproval.
"Last I thought you said the old man was the strongest wizard in the world." Winnie tilted her head in confusion.
"That's no excuse to get into a fist fight with him! Didn't your parents teach you to respect your elders?!" Gale shouted.
"My Gran taught me to kick ass if someone takes what is mine. Especially my food." Winnie huffed and crossed her arms. Granted Archdruid Winnifred the first was known for being a crazy old crone with a fiery temper and some outdated views. She also seemed much too calm when her husband apparently died in an owlbear attack.
Ah, but Winnie still missed her.
"Oh come on wizard, Winnie's little show was absolutely hilarious! Ahaha!" Astarion giggled. The elven vampire had been watching the chaotic scene unfold with a shit eating grin the entire time. The fact that the druid used none of her powers or weapons just made it all the better. Hells she even bit the old man.
"Hilarious!? She attacked one of the greatest wizards this world has ever known over cheese!!! A child has more restraint for gods' sake!"
"Oh, suck my dick!" Winnie snarled, quite literally making a wolfish growl at the bearded man before stomping off. Gale rubbed his temples before slumping off to his own tent.
"Winnie is rather eccentric at the best of times, but usually not this vicious." Shadowheart piped up, stepping over to join the vampire spawn.
"She has a temper, but I agree she's been acting more irritable than usual. You wouldn't know anything about this would you fangs?" Karlach asked looking over at Astarion.
"Must you assume whenever something goes wrong it's my fault?" Astarion crossed his arms.
"No one is accusing you of anything yet, but you have practically been glued to Winnie's backside as of late." Shadowheart raised an eyebrow.
"Just wanted to know if you knew if there was something going on." The tiefling female added. Astarion rolled his eyes before looking over in the direction of where Winnie had wandered off.
"Oh there is something going on, not that I'm the type to gossip about a woman's personal matters." Astarion ran a hand through his ivory curls.
"Fangs, we all know that's complete bullshit." Karlach looked at him with an unamused expression.
"Well, not about this! It's different. Even I have limits you know." Astarion murmured. He was well aware of Winnie's predicament, and if he had been completely honest he definitely would have gossiped about this sort of thing if it had been anyone else. "But perhaps I can go and calm our feisty little wolf down." The high elf suggested, hoping to keep the others from asking any more questions.
"Alright I'll go try to console Gale I think he's screaming into his pillow again...." Karlach mentioned before her and Shadowheart walked off.
Astarion looked over to where Winnie had wandered up, finding her curled up on her bed-roll under some trees. Winnie whimpered and groaned, clutching her lower stomach in pain.
"In a spot of bother are we?" Astarion looked down at her.
"Leave me alone Astarion!" Winnie snapped before covering herself in her blankets.
"Oh come on, don't be like that. I'm only here to help." Astarion sat down on the bed-roll next to her. "I know you're still mad that the mean wizard yelled at you, but if you want I can go and break his legs? Would that make you happy, dear?" Astarion practically cooed, a small smile formed on his lips as he ran a hand over her back.
"Maybe...." Winnie mumbled and glanced up at him. Astarion smirked, "I thought so." He gently caressed her head.
"I'm.....Sorry....I...I haven't been myself lately...." Winnie confessed before wincing again in pain.
"I know. I can smell the blood..." Astarion said calmly. Winnie turned bright red before hiding her face in her pillow.
"This is so embarrassing!" Winnie whimpered into her pillow. Astarion sighed before laying beside her.
"Well if it's any consolation...You smell absolutely delicious." He grinned looking over her before receiving a light smack on the chest.
"Don't be gross!" Winnie huffed, and then looked up at Astarion who was just staring at her. "I don't want to think about anything.... going on down there....right now... It's too uncomfortable..." She mumbled, before burying her head back into her pillow. Astarion frowned. Comfort was really not his thing. Whenever Winnie was feeling down, usually due to insecurities about her appearance he'd just bed her, compliment her and she'd be happy, but this was different. If she didn't want to be touched he was a little bit at a loss of what to do. Still, these gods damned feelings urged him to try something. Despite his best efforts to avoid it, he was growing attached to her.
"Come back to my tent darling." Astarion whispered as he pushed some of the druid's messy hair behind her ear.
"Astarion I just told you-"
"Not for that. I promise, just let me take care of you." Astarion sat up, looking down at the human female with a softening gaze. Winnie turned towards him and sighed.
"Fine..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Winnie followed Astarion back to his tent with her things, she waited a moment for him to go inside and to take care of a few things before entering and setting her stuff down. She placed her bedroll and blankets down before noticing him placing pillows down around her stuff. She stared at him, curiously. Was this all some kind of plot? She wasn't so sure why he seemed to care this much. Astarion would usually mock someone else's pain. Sure the two of them had been sleeping together, but Astarion was quick to return to his usual apathetic self once out of the bedroom so to speak. Mocking any acts of heroism she did.
"Wait here I'll be back." Astarion ruffled her hair with a soft smile. Winnie laid there on the bedding, nuzzled her face into one of the cushy pillows Astarion had set out for her.
He'll probably just want to feed on me later.... That's it.
Winnie reached into her pack and took out a small worn out green dragon plush holding it to her chest for comfort as she curled up.
The others probably made him go after me because I was acting like a lunatic.....They all probably hate me now....
Tears began form in the corners of her eyes as she slid there. Winnie laid her head on one of the pillows before taking in the nice earthy scent of bergamot and rosemary. Her heart ached as she thought about the elf. The druid knew in her heart that it was meaningless, that he was just using her for his own gain, but she just smiled and went along with it, wanting to stay lost in him for as long as she could. With Astarion she felt something no one had ever given her before. She felt wanted. Even if it was all just a beautiful lie.
Winnie huffed, squeezing her eyes shut as tears forced their way out and began to drip down her cheeks.
She could see it happening almost vividly how he'd approach her eventually after everything at Moonrise was settled and done with.
"What were you expecting, some fairytale prince?" He'd laugh at her naivety and shake his head when began to tear up. "This is what I do. I give you a moment of escape with a world endingly beautiful vampire and you satisfy my needs. Cheer up. There's really no one better you could have spent your first time with. Especially with how homely you are."
Winnie sobbed quietly into the pillow. Her mind running wild with self loathing thoughts, imagining several different ways Astarion would break it off with her. Eventually after a while the tent flap opened and she felt a breeze brush over her cheek though she refused to look over. Astarion slipped in, carrying a well stuffed sack over his shoulder. His crimson eyes gazed over Winnie's plump curvaceous form as he sat down beside her on the bed-roll. Astarion set down the sack near the entrance of the tent before looking over Winnie further.
"Darling, I'm back." He said softly before noticing the little stuffed dragon in her arms. "What's this? Really dear a stuffed animal? You're twenty three years-" Astarion stopped his snarky comment as he noticed Winnie's red puffy eyes, her nose sniffling.
"Winnie....Did Gale come by while I was gone? Did he say something to you?" Astarion clenched his fist, about ready to go and shove the wizard inside his own bag of holding.
"No.... Nothing happened..." Winnie muttered. Astarion sighed in relief before looking back at the sack he brought with him. He opened it, taking out some wine and setting it down near the bedding.
"Then why have you been crying, my sweet?" Astarion asked, a worried frown formed over his face. "Was it something I said?"
Winnie huffed and looked back at him.
"No...I'm.......I'm just overwhelmed... Everyone depends on me and now I've gone and made myself look like a fool." Winnie said, half lying and half telling the truth. "And my bleeding isn't making it any better."
Astarion then proceeded to hand the bottle of wine to her. "Perhaps this will help your mood." Winnie looked over the bottle before drinking some. The flavor was sweet with a faint hint of bitterness masked by blackberries. She set it down before noticing Astarion fiddling with the sack again.
"I may have found a rather generous merchant nearby." The pale elf added as he took out a wooden plate with a wedge of cheese and a chicken leg on it. Winnie practically drooled at the sight before shaking her head and thinking.
"Generous? Astarion, what did you do to him?" The druid crossed her arms.
"Nothing! I assure you, he is still very much alive. I didn't hurt him....Much..." Astarion said muttering out the last part with a smirk as he thought back to how he left the merchant tied to a tree after robbing him. Winnie sighed before suddenly grabbing hold of the cheese and taking a bite. Her face almost instantly relaxed into a smile as she savored the taste biting into the chicken next. Astarion watched her contently as he made himself comfortable on the bed-roll beside her. She finished the food before setting the plate to the side and relaxing.
"Thank you. I think I feel a bit better now." Winnie murmured before looking back at Astarion.
"Happy to help, although I do expect to be paid back in full for my trouble." Astarion smiled, lips forming an awkward looking grinch like grin.
"Oh....Um... Would this work?" She pulled down her shirt, exposing her neck and shoulder to him.
"A kiss will do for now." He said, moving her hand away from her neck. Winnie blushed darkly before nodding. The brunette haired female leaned in with her lips puckered before pressing them to his sweetly. Her kiss was chaste and innocent as in lingered upon his lips. He cupped her face, returning it before pulling back and pecking her forehead.
"Ahh!" Winnie grunted in pain as Astarion pulled away, hand moving down clutch her abdomen.
"Fucking hells, why does my body hate me!" She cursed.
"Probably getting back at you for not letting me inside." Astarion joked before moving closer to her. He moved a hand over her stomach. "May I? I won't do anything perverse. I promise."
Winnie bit her lip for a moment before nodding. Astarion slid his hand under her shirt and began to rub soothing gentle circles around her lower stomach. Winnie sighed in relief, before leaning against him. Astarion smiled and laid his head on her shoulder, continuing his motions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day Gale looked around searching for one of his wizard tomes he'd forgotten he lent to Winnie just a few days prior. The wizard groaned at the prospect of possibly invoking the moody druid's wrath once more, but that was indeed a very important book! Quickly he made his way over to where he remembered Winnie had set up camp before eventually being met with an empty space.
He turned and retraced his steps before looking over to Astarion's crimson red tent with curiosity.
The wizard stepped over towards the shelter cautiously until the faint sound of soft feminine whimpers hit his ears. Inside the tent Winnie laid back against the bed-roll, pillow pulled over her bright red face as she moaned into it. All the while Astarion had his head buried between her legs, one of her thick thighs slung over his shoulder as he feasted on her.
"Uh....Winnie....D-Do you still have that tome I lent you?" The wizard stammered out, face turning bright red.
Astarion's brows knit together in annoyance before he pulled his tongue out of the druid's cunt.
"She's currently quite occupied, Gale. Now do piss off!" The vampire hissed out before returning to ravishing the human female. Winnie herself wasn't able to form any coherent sentences while the pale elf had her in his clutches, but eventually later on she returned Gale's book to him and eventually apologized for the scene she caused yesterday.

Note from TheChaoticDruid: Hope you enjoyed! I admit this is a completely self indulgent fic that was kinda a spur of the moment thing. I've seen a lot of period comfort fics that more so focus on the pain and mess than the emotional aspects of it so I wanted to put a bit of focus on that, cause honestly when it happens to me I have a tendency to be rather mean. Of course this is a little exaggerated for laughs in the beginning, but sometimes when it happens you feel like everyone is out to get ya and you wanna tear people's heads off over the littlest of things. I was a little afraid I might have made Astarion a little too soft, but given it's close to his act 2 confession I think it can maybe work.

⛤Chapter 3: Reunion Eddie unlocks the front door of his apartment, he's trying to be extra careful not to make any noise. He looks over at the couch and quickly notices Dustin snoring away. He slowly shut the door behind him and carried on down the hallway. Upon entering his bedroom, he flipped the light switch, and nestled in his bed was Y/N. A figure he did not anticipate whatsoever. “....Y/N?” He almost thought he was dreaming. You sat up quickly, entirely shocked by the sight in front of you. You exchanged glances, the air was filled with so many unspoken questions. Eddie is trying to mentally make sense of the sight before him. His face starts to turn red as he slowly realizes his high school crush is sleeping in his bed. “Eddie?!” You are so confused, Steve said he wouldn't be back for a couple of days. Is this some kind of setup? Goddammit Steve. “I am SO sorry.” You frantically roll out of his bed and stand there, searching for some kind of expression on Eddie’s face. “Steve must have been confused, he said you wouldn't be home for a couple of days. We made a plan and I came out to surprise you guys.” “Well…I’m certainly surprised.” He says as he sets his bags down. He approaches you and immediately wraps his arms around your shoulders. “It's so good to see you, Y/N.” He says, just barely above a whisper. You were rendered speechless, your face was pressed against his chest. He kisses the top of your head, something he always used to do. You wrapped your arms around his midsection and it took everything in you to fight back those reunion tears. It was a long hug, one that had to make up for years of physical and emotional distance. He finally lets go, and you meet his gaze. “It’s good to see you too, Eddie.” You say with a smile, he hasn't changed a bit. His hair is a little longer, but he still wears the same ripped jeans, leather jacket, and silver rings. “I’m the one who should be sorry, I came home early. My last show was canceled due to bad weather.” Eddie explains, “I should have called but I didn’t have time to use a phone.” He snags one of the cigarettes off the bedside table and lights it. “No it's cool, I’m really happy to see you.” You say as you sit back down on the edge of Eddie's bed. “How was your tour? I heard your band is doing well nowadays.” “We are actually! I feel like we’ve made a serious breakthrough in the industry. The tour was fun, I got to see New York. The food was amazing, the fans are a blast.” “Oh wow, so you’re like a big celebrity now, huh?” You tease, Eddie smirks and takes a drag off his cigarette. He walks over to his bags and puts his guitar in the empty guitar stand. “Hardly. How have you been? I haven't heard from you in forever and suddenly you end up in my bed?” He inquires, still holding on to that prominent smirk. “Things got pretty intense when we moved, it was like everything in my life came crashing down around me. I feel really bad about not keeping in touch with you guys. When I planned this with Steve I knew I would have to make some apologies.” You finally admit to him that you could have done better. Every time you didn't call or stay in touch it made you feel guilty. After some time it felt like a stupid, awkward thing to do. So you tried to forget about it, a big mistake on your part. It was time for you to explain yourself and make up for being so detached. “It's no big thing, sweetheart,” Eddie says as he sits next to you on the bed. “You can sleep in my bed, I can take the floor.” “No! I would feel terrible. Just…Just share it with me. It's fine, there's plenty of room.” You can feel your face getting warmer. It’s a pretty big bed so it probably won't get weird, right? “Well…if you’re sure.” He replies, noticing how exhausted you look. “You should get some rest, we can talk more in the morning.” “Thanks, Eddie, you’re a saint.” You crawl back under the covers. “Not even close, darling.” Eddie loosens and kicks off his boots. He walks over to his closet and changes into sweatpants and a fresh T-shirt.
You honestly tried to not glance at the metalhead's slender figure but failed miserably. He has new tattoos you’ve never seen before and he’s gained a bit more muscle in his arms. Eddie pulls a hair tie from his wrist and wraps his hair up in a messy bun. You didn't think Eddie Munson could get any hotter, but he did. Eddie flips the light switch and crawls into bed with you. You turn to face him and he faces you. This feels familiar, like deja vu.
“If this is too weird let me know.” He says, barely above a whisper. “It’s only weird if you make it weird, Munson.” You respond with a giggle.  ------------- The morning sun beams through the window, you can hear the sound of cars driving by the apartments. You open your eyes and gaze at the soft yellow glow pouring into the room.  The bed was so warm and comfortable, you never wanted to leave. You roll over and immediately realize you’ve curled up next to Eddie rather close. He’s You hear a couple of knocks on the door and Steve calls your name.  “Hey Y/N, I brought you a cup of coffee, open up.” You roll out of bed and open the bedroom door. Steve hands you the cup of coffee with a smile. “Good morning sunsh–” He trails off after he sees Eddie reluctantly sit up and rub his sleepy eyes. You could see the gears turning in his brain as he put two and two together. just snoozing away like nothing is happening, completely unaware of the fact that he was nearly spooning you.
“When did you get home?!” Steve asks, a puzzled look on his face. “Last night.” Eddie yawns, “How come I don't get any coffee, Harrington?” He jokes with a sleepy grin. Steve gives you a look that immediately translates to “That didn’t take long”. You follow Steve to the kitchen and prepare a cup of coffee for Eddie.
“So did you guys–” You cut him off and he snorts.
“No! Of course not!” Your face gets red and Steve can't stop laughing at how flustered you’re getting. You try to keep your voice down because Dustin is still sleeping like a rock on the couch. “Why would you say that?!” “Okay okay! I was just asking.” He says feeling satisfied by your unsettled expression. You take the coffee to Eddie’s room and Steve finishes up the bacon and pancakes.
Eddie is sitting upright, still trying to wake up. He smiles at you when you hand him a cup of coffee. “Thank you, sweetheart.” he says and pats the spot next to him, asking you to come sit.
Steve walks in with three plates of food. He hands one to Eddie and he practically scarfs it down. How long has it been since he last ate?? Steve sat on the floor in front of you and began cutting apart his pancakes with his fork.
“So, what's on the agenda today?” Steve asks with his mouth semi-full.
“I’m not sure yet, I just got here.” Eddie replies, “Isn't Robin coming by?”
“Yeah but who knows when that will be.” Steve answers and shrugs.
The knock at the door was so on cue it was amazing. Dustin rolls off the couch and opens the door.
“Hey kiddo, you’re still here?” Robin asks. Dustin gives her a drowsy nod and she laughs. You could recognize her voice and hopped up off the bed and rushed out into the hallway. Robin sees you and stops dead in her tracks. She's completely floored, her eyes are wide and her mouth is agape. Suddenly, without any warning you both start screaming and running towards each other. “Oh my god, you are here?!” She shouts and you scream “I am!” Robin wraps her arms around you and you do the very same. She squeezed you so tight you might explode. She is still as energetic as ever. Robin has been your best friend since middle school. You’ve missed her so much you almost start to cry.
“I can't believe you are here, I thought you dropped off the face of the planet!” She says and you laugh. “Honestly, I was just really depressed.” You reply. “I’m sorry for being a bad friend.” You sit back down and finish your breakfast, Robin leans against the doorframe. She gives Steve a suspicious look, “Is this why you wouldn't let me come over yesterday?” Steve almost chokes on his food. “I mean, yeah but we were planning a surprise! We are all going to hideout tonight to celebrate.” “I’m totally in, but do you think I could steal Y/N for the day?” Robin looks at Steve and Steve glances at Eddie. Why is Eddie suddenly your keeper? “As long as you wash her and bring her back.” Eddie chimes in and you laugh and gently shove him with your shoulder. “Hell yes! Let's go shopping. I need new shoes.” Robin cheers, and you giggle at Eddie's dumb comment. You grab your duffle bag on the floor and take it to the bathroom with you to get dressed. You grabbed a black t-shirt, and a pair of ripped jeans, and topped off your look with classic Converse. After adding silver rings and chains to your look you smooth out your shirt and look in the mirror. You add a touch of makeup to cover up the fact that you didn't get much sleep. After all the preparation, you meet Robin at the door. “You ready?” She asks as you grab your jacket and your wallet. You nod and wave at Eddie, who finally made his way to the kitchen for a second cup of coffee. “I’ll be back later, guys!” You announce. All three of the boys say goodbye in unison, which ultimately makes you laugh. After deciding to take Robin’s car, you both hop in and buckle your seatbelts. “Okay okay, tell me everything.” Robin says while pulling out of the parking lot. “Oh god, where do I even start?” You let out a groan, “Okay, first of all, I’m so sorry. I’m sorry I abandoned you guys, that was really lame of me. I missed you all so much.” “Apology accepted.” Robin said. “I was never mad at you, I figured life had gotten in the way. I almost wanted to track you down and show up on your doorstep.” She laughs and you smile at her. “I would have totally been cool with that.” You reply. “Where are we going anyway?” “To Starcourt mall.” She finally tells you. “That place still exists?!” You ask. Robin and Steve used to work at this ice cream shop in the food court. You would visit them during their shift almost every day. “I know, I am just as surprised as you are.” Robin replies with a laugh.

Red Wine Supernova
Jegulus microfic, featuring Dorlene
Fluff
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
The air was warm and thick with alcohol in the gryffindor common room. People from every house were in attendance, drinking and being loud.
Regulus however, is only here because he likes his friends. And he supposes his boyfriend is alright. But that doesn't mean he enjoys the loud party goers. He's standing against a wall, watching everyone else. Dorcas comes and checks on him every now in then, but he's content alone.
He scans the room for his boyfriend, curious what he's up to, when he finds him at the record player with Marlene. Well that's never good, Reg thinks to himself. James getting ahold of the music? Remus will kill him.
A song starts and Marlene jumps onto a table, pulling James up with. Oh no. Regulus realizes the music isn't coming from a record, but from Sirius' electric.
"She was a playboy, Bridget Bardot. She showed me things, I didn't know." Dorcas is smiling, standing at the foot of the table, watching her girlfriend sing what is obviously about her. James takes center stage and holds a cup like a microphone. "He did it right there, out on the deck, put his canine teeth in the side of my neck." James tapped the side of his neck with two fingers, staring regulus down. Reg's face went red.
He knew sirius and his friends wrote songs from time to time but he didn't think he'd hear one during party, let alone one about him.
"Baby, why don't you come over? Red wine supernova, falling into me. Let's pick it up now!" The two kept singing, Sirius joining them on the table with his guitar.
The entire room was focused on the makeshift band in front of them. The energy they brought made even Regulus want to dance.
"Well back at my house I got a California king! Ok maybe it's a twin bed, and some roommates!" Suddenly half of their gryffindor friends around the room piped in. "Don't worry we're cool!!" James hopped off the table and made his way to Reg. "I heard you like magic, I got a wand and a rabbit. So baby let's get freaky, get kinky, let's make this bed get squeaky." When did James start holding Regulus' face? When did it get so fucking hot in here? Regulus stared up at James, the room disappearing as he sang right to him.
"I don't care that you're a stoner, red wine supernova, fall right into me." As soon as the song ended, Regulus grabbed James by the collar and yanked him into a kiss. His face was burning and he was sure the whole room was watching, but he needed to kiss James fucking Potter right now.
"Bedroom?" James asked with a sly smile. "Don't be stupid, Potter." Regulus turned and dragged James toward the stairs.
"Walk him like a dog, Reggie!" Barty was the last thing he heard, along with his friends hollering and cheering, as they disappeared into the dorm.

Part 5 - Bad Decisions
Three months and three days, since I had met Noah Sebastian. Since he had walked into my group, reserved and exhausted, ready for a change. Three months and one day since I had agreed to be his sponsor. Since I had taken on the role of maintaining his sanity and sobriety with him. Three months exactly since Noah kissed me, causing me to pull back on our relationship.
I had given myself a silent rule that I never told Noah: we did not meet in person, outside of group, unless it was dire. So far, we had not gotten to that point.
He called me often, needing support. We talked on the phone, sometimes for only a few minutes while he panicked, I calmed him down, and he focused on breathing. Sometimes, we talked for a long time. I suspected he called me at times, out of pure boredom.
Two weeks after his show in Hollywood, he finally told the members of the band that he had began AA. As I suspected, they were all very supportive, most notably, Nick Ruffilo, his best friend since childhood. He even brought Nick to our last 'Loved Ones' session, where we asked everyone to bring someone in their lives who supported their recovery. Some people only brought their sponsors, but some brought their husbands, wives. Girlfriends. I always brought Laura.
I met Nick that day. He was polite, had the most charming smile, and shook my hand respectfully.
"You're the famous Leena, huh?" Noah had been talking to Syd when Nick approached me.
"Famous?" I quirked my eyebrow. He smiled brightly.
"You've kept my boy straight for a whole month."
I nodded in understanding. As fate may have it, the day Nick came to group, was the same day Noah had earned his 30-day coin. He had earned himself a large round of applause, as well as his favorite flavor of cupcakes in class. Red velvet, cream cheese frosting, graham cracker dust. I'll never forget, I asked Laura to make them.
Nick cared deeply for Noah, I could see it. I knew the other members, Folio and Jolly, did as well, but I believed Nick was his best source of support.
I broached the subject with Noah about a week later of Nick being his sponsor. I saw the look on his face while he sipped on his coffee, group having just ended.
"Oh, I didn't even think about it." He was looking at the ground, something he regularly did when he was uncomfortable.
"I mean, it was just an idea?" I tried to stay warm, comforting. Noah didn't always go for that. He had his moments where he felt patronized, and preferred I be straight with him. Usually when he was in a bad mood.
"I could ask him, I guess." He still wouldn't look at me.
I sighed, quirking my lips in a smile. "You don't have to. I'm happy to keep being your sponsor, Noah."
He looked at me finally, through his lashes. "You just know how to pull me back from the brink. He doesn't."
I nodded in understanding. "Guess you're stuck with me then." I beamed at him, earning a smile back.
Today, Noah was earning his 90-day coin, right before he leaves for tour. He got to go first in group, discussing his experience through recovery. He also got his special cupcakes, Laura turning up special to deliver them by hand. He was like a kid in a candy store, nearly hopping up and down when she handed him his special cupcake, bigger than the rest. He was ever thankful that she was a talented baker, promising to bring him and the band cupcakes during their tour dates here in LA.
The band had added 17 additional tour dates, beginning the tour in the summer instead of fall. They would have three months off from June to September, and would head to Europe in December. The success of the band was exciting, and stressful all the same for Noah. I saw the toll it took.
Two weeks ago, he finally told his girlfriend about his recovery. We didn't talk about Lily often at all, but he definitely did not want to discuss that subject. I gathered that it did not go well. All I learned was that she told him she needed space, and backed out of tagging along on the first part of the tour with them. She promised to catch up in September.
I saw how this affected Noah, and his sad days had been more frequent lately. Seeing him happy to be receiving his coin was a relief.
"Can I make a request for my 90-day?" He sat in his regular chair, directly across the circle from me, his too-dark eyes on mine.
"Within reason." I responded with a suspicious grin.
"Can you tell me one thing about you that I don't already know?" Everyone in group looked directly to me, including our two newcomers. All eyes seemed confused. As was I.
"Like what?" I crossed my legs, trying to hide my uncomfortable posture.
"Anything."
I blinked, my head swirling. Something he didn't know? We had learned quite a bit about each other over the last three months. In group or on the phone, we had played twenty questions more than once.
"Well," I sighed, knowing that my confession would be news to everyone, as I never talked about it. "my sponsor is my Dad."
He looked taken back, not expecting that. "Really?"
I nodded coolly. "Yep. Since I got sober three years ago." I relaxed a bit in my chair. "He's the reason I got sober."
Noah sat back and folded his arms, intent on listening to me. He gestured for me to continue.
"At 25, I was set down the worst road. I had been actively drinking since I was 16, and really struggling since 18. I dropped out of college, went through job after job, ended up in jail a few times. And that's the mild stuff. I won't bore you all with the gruesome details." I glanced around the room. The only person who knew even half of my story was Abel, and he was unfortunately not here today, so I felt vulnerable.
"My mother was an alcoholic, who died when I was very young from her addictions." I could feel tears threatening to come to the surface. My throat was forming a lump I just couldn't swallow. "My Dad, who swore to never drink again after she died, decided that once I hit rock bottom, to take me to her gravesite."
I looked down at my hands, feeling my voice shake. "He had purchased a plot for me right next to her when I turned 21, because he swore I would be with her sooner rather than later."
One traitorous tear spilled down my cheek, and I wiped it away feverishly. "So I had him drive me to a meeting. He stayed with me. Came with me to every single one."
I laughed at the thought. "He would sit in the car and listen to Country music while he waited. And every time I fell off, he drove me right back. He's my rock. He's the reason I'm alive."
I was still looking at my hands when I heard the clapping. My head snapped up to see Noah, his hands clapping together before everyone else joined. It was a liberating moment, but I was still vulnerable.
I checked my watch, noticing that we were over on our time.
"Thank you, everyone." The applause died down. "I appreciate each and every one of you. Unfortunately, we've got to get out of here before Angie comes in and rips me a new one."
-
At home, Angel and I were curled up on the couch, enjoying our favorite movie (it was my favorite, so it was his favorite by default), Silent Hill. I was tossing him single popcorn kernels as I ate and watched intently.
"See, baby, this is the part where all of the piece of shit cultists get what they deserve!" He looked at me with his honey brown eyes, clearly understanding every word I said.
My ringtone went off, and I almost ignored it, because we were so close to the end, and figured the call could wait until after. That is, until I realized it was Noah's ringtone. I had switched his a while ago to a song by his own band, so I knew when it needed to be answered at any cost.
I rushed over to the kitchen counter, not even bothering to pause the movie.
"Hello?"
"I need a fucking drink, Leena." His voice was cracked, and sounded wet. Was he...crying?
"No, you don't." My immediate response anytime he said that.
"No Leena, I'm driving to a bar. I can't fucking do this."
The panic rose in my chest, threatening to spill in the form of vomit. No, not now. Not after we've worked this hard.
"Noah Sebastian, I will kick you out of group."
"Who fucking cares?" I scoffed.
"Uh, you do, apparently. You called me."
"Mostly just calling to let you know I'm a fucking failure. So, sorry to waste your time."
My mouth worked faster than I could stop it. "Come to my place."
He was quiet. "Nah, bar sounds better."
"Noah, come see me. Please. And if you still want a drink afterwards, then I won't stop you."
I could tell he was perusing this. "You don't ever see me outside of group, remember?"
"Well, fuck that for right now. Come see me."
He groaned. "Leena, it's midnight. You should be asleep."
"Yet, I'm awake. 3AM ice cream, remember?"
There was silence, only the sound of a blinker in the background.
"Where do you live?"
Without answering, I dropped him my location pin.
"Says I'm ten minutes away." I sighed a breath of relief.
"Door's unlocked."
-
Despite my telling him to come in, he knocked. Angel stood at attention, to which I instructed him to sit and stay. I opened the door to find a soaking wet Noah. I didn't even realize it was raining.
He looked awful. Clearly had been crying, his clothes soaked through from the storm. I grabbed his arm and hastily pulled him in to avoid any more weather getting hold of him.
"Jesus Christ, dude." He just stood in my doorway, staring at me.
A low growl left Angel, bringing our attention to him.
"Angel, come." Robotically, he came to me and I pointed to Noah. "Let him smell you. He's protection trained."
Noah raised a brow. "What kind of dog?"
"He's a mutt. Bluetick Hound and Husky. 90 pounds of death if he doesn't like you."
I saw Noah stiffen slightly as Angel sniffed his legs, shoes, and hands. Once he was satisfied that he was safe, Angel stepped back.
"Go to bed." I pointed to the room and he took off, following the command.
"Hm, good dog." Noah's tone was surprised.
"I live alone in LA, I've got to do something to protect myself."
He nodded and stepped onto the tile floor after me toward the hallway. I noticed how wet he was.
"Wait here. I'll get you some dry clothes."
He looked at me incredulously. "You think they'll fit?"
I rolled my eyes. "Wait here."
I returned two minutes later with a pair of men's sweats and a faded Disturbed t-shirt. "They're my brother's. I'm sure they'll fit."
He nodded in appreciation and I pointed to the bathroom.
He returned moments later, soaking clothes in hand. I walked over and grabbed them from him and walked further down the hall to my laundry room. Checking the many pockets on his pants, I threw his clothing in the dryer and started it.
Padding back into the living room, I waved him over to the couch. We both sat on opposite ends, me leaned back, pulling the throw over myself, him dropping his head into his hands.
"You want to talk about it?" He just shook his head. I pursed my lips. "You want to watch a movie?" He looked up at me from over his shoulder.
"Like what?"
I smiled, picking up my remote. "Well, I just finished Silent Hill, but I've got all the streaming networks, so I can get anything."
He furrowed his brows. "Silent Hill? Like, the game?"
My jaw dropped. "You've never seen the movie?"
He just shook his head. "Can't say I have."
"Well fuck, let me just restart it."
He snorted. "Didn't you just watch it?"
"It's my favorite movie, ever. I'll watch it again."
He sat up straight, then leaned his back on the couch. I reached behind me on the side table, grabbing another blanket and chucking it at him. He smiled a small, sad look at me, and unfolded it over his lap.
During the movie, Noah's demeanor loosened ever so subtly. He started with his back against the couch, arms in his lap, looking unamused. By the first call of the Darkness, he was leaning forward, paying closer attention. At the first sight of Pyramid Head, he was interested. And by the hospital scene, he was asking questions.
"I still don't understand, why does Sharon look like Alessa? And why did the little girl say she was burning?"
"Would you be patient?! We're literally getting to that part right now!" He shook his head and leaned back, crossing his legs underneath him and his body moved slightly closer to my legs that were outstretched on the area between us.
His leg bumped my foot, and he looked over, noticing I was glancing at him.
"Oh, my bad." He scooched back to his side, and I snickered.
"I'm not going to combust if you touch my foot Noah, it's no biggie."
He smirked, mischievously. "Well, in that case." He then stretched his giant self out across the couch, pulling my legs up over his legs. He nestled in, pulling the blanket up to his chest.
It was at this point that I actually noticed.
"Hold the fucking phone." I quickly paused the movie and his head snapped to me.
"What?"
"You cut your fucking hair?!" His hair was easily eight inches shorter, sitting just below his ears. How it took me this long to notice is beyond me.
He laughed nervously, and ran his hand through his locks. "Yeah, after group, I went and got it cut. Felt like I needed a change."
I smiled brightly, reaching over and tousling it. "I like it. It suits you."
He leaned back, his face appreciative.
I played the movie, and he was absolutely enamored. It was always fun watching someone experience this movie for the first time.
Once the credits began to play, his eyes were much brighter. "Are you tired?"
I shook my head. "Nah, not right now."
"Want to watch another one?"
I stood up. "Sure, but I've got to pee and grab a water bottle. You want one?"
He nodded, swiping the remote and scrolling through the networks to find another movie.
I called Angel to his bed in the living room, and took care of my business. When I returned, he had 13 Ghosts pulled up on the screen.
"Can we watch my favorite now?" I smirked.
"Absolutely, it is also one of my favorites."
He pressed play, and I walked past him, my thigh catching the edge of the couch, causing me to stumble toward the coffee table.
Before I could connect with the glass, his arm was around my arm, pulling me back toward the couch. I landed square in his lap. It took me a second to process. He smiled at me nervously.
"Sorry, didn't want you getting a concussion."
I slid off his lap, but was now seated closer to him, by side nearly pressed against his chest. He turned his attention back to the TV, throwing his blanket over the both of us casually.
I pulled my bare legs up under the blanket, now very aware that all I wore was a pair of too-short gym shorts, a plain white t-shirt, and socks. I was home alone earlier, in my defense. My knee was pressing into the side of his leg, but he didn't seem to notice.
His body radiated so much heat, I instinctively sunk down further under the blanket. His gargantuan arm was draped over the back of the couch, the back of my head pressed against it.
I let myself get into the movie for a while. We made it about half an hour in before I felt him shift. He stretched his legs in front of me, now in near full laying position. His arm tugged my shoulder and I looked at him.
His eyes were honest, or so it seemed. "It's just cuddling. I haven't had anyone to cuddle with in a while."
I pondered this for a moment. My brain screamed against it, told me it was wrong and I knew where this could go. But he was so warm. He was so comfortable. I slid down, stretching my legs over his, my chest laying on his. My face had nowhere to go but on his collarbone while I tried desperately to watch the television.
Something tugged at me, which I tried to ignore for a while. I couldn't for too long before I piped up.
"How would your girlfriend feel about us 'just cuddling'?"
I felt his chest still, his breathing stopped for a beat.
"She dumped me." I snapped my head up
"What?"
He sighed, not looking back at me. "Why do you think I needed a drink?"
"Oh, Noah." I moved to sit up, but his arm around my waist held me in place while he squeezed his eyes shut.
"Can we please just...not?" When he looked back at me, he had a single tear trying to escape from the corner of his eye.
"Okay." I softly responded and gently leaned back down. His arm secured me in place, while the movie continued to play.
About halfway through, I felt my eyelids getting heavy. His fingers that were holding my waist had been drawing small circles on my back for a few minutes, and I was fading quickly. The warmth, the comfort. He wasn't the only one who hadn't cuddled in a while.
"Are you asleep?"
This roused me. "Hmm? No. Just comfortable." My voice was raspy with sleep, my eyes only half open.
His chest shook with the rumble of a laugh. "You want me to head home?"
I slightly shook my head. "Warm." His hand rubbed up my arm now, coming to rest on the cap of my shoulder. I heard a low humming sound, and realized it was him, humming a tune that I couldn't place.
"It should be illegal to be able to sing that good." This made him snicker.
"Too bad, huh?" I sighed, relaxing. "Maybe if I wasn't so talented, you'd actually like me."
This made me slowly lift my head, narrowing my eyes at him. "You are an insufferable human Noah Sebastian." He smiled a goofy grin at me. "I am trying to relax, here."
His hand came up to brush my hair from my face, his eyes locked on my tired ones.
"You're really beautiful Mileena, you know that?"
I raised my eyebrows, my eyes getting wider. He didn't seem fazed, just studying my face.
"Well...thank you?"
His fingers twirled some stray bands of my hair while his eyes just would not leave mine.
"Would you hate me if I kissed you?"
My stomach bottomed out. I was awake. All the way awake, now. I sighed heavily.
"We can't do that, Noah."
He bit his bottom lip.
"Can't, or won't?"
"Both?"
I rolled onto my side then, slightly breaking the contact between us. He was sat with his head propped on the pillow at the end of the couch. He kept his arm on my waist, but raised himself up just enough to nearly tower over me.
"Would you tell me to stop again?"
He was testing me. I was going to fail if he didn't stop. He felt it.
"Probably."
"Would you make me leave?"
"Is this why you came over? Girlfriend dumps you, so you figure you'd come hook up with your sponsor?" Okay, maybe that came out a little sharper than I intended. But it needed to be said.
"I wasn't planning on coming here. I was set on the bar."
I sighed. He was right. He was on the brink, and I invited him in. Practically begged him.
"Noah, I just...we can't."
His hand reached up to cup the side of my neck, his eyes now fixated on my mouth. I caught the tip of his tongue dart out over his bottom lip.
"Would you make me leave?" He repeated his question.
I didn't answer him, I just stared. I couldn't hide the want on my face anymore. I could feel my eyes pleading with him to just do it. Just make the move, because I couldn't.
With the luckiest break I've had in a while, he read my thoughts, and dipped his face down to brush our lips together.
This was different. This wasn't hungry. It was a hot burn, slow and steady. His hand came up to brush against my face, pulling me just close enough for him to press his face closer, solidifying the kiss.
Once I had the nerve, I moved my lips against his, my body melting against him. We moved slowly, our tongues only trying to make short appearances to taste the other's lips. His kisses on my lips slowed, his hand running down the side of my body, stopping to rest on my hip. Noah's lips began to trail off of my mouth, moving down to my neck, leaving soft kisses over my throat, making my breathing stop altogether.
I'm not entirely sure how long we stayed this way, his lips leaving trails of warmth over my jaw, neck, and collarbone.
I finally reached for him, my arm searching for the hem of his shirt, slipping underneath. My fingers grazed his skin, feeling the solidity of his frame. I felt him breathe out a sigh when I began leaving kisses on his neck. I let the tip of my tongue trace his adam's apple, smiling when the grip on my hip tightened with a nip of his skin.
After he had been tormented enough, he slipped his arm around my waist, flipping to perch over me, laying me flat on my back.
The kiss that came now was burning, hungry, and wild. My fingers pulled at his shirt, lifting it until he had to sit up and pull it over his head.
He wasted no time coming back to attack my neck, nipping and biting carefully, but enough to have me whimpering. He slid one hand up my side, beneath my shirt, and grazed the side of my breast, waiting for a reaction. I arched my back, trying to beg for touch.
His fingers grabbed my entire breast with one hand, pinching my hard nipple and rolling it between his fingers. I gasped at this.
"Oh, Noah..." I heard him hum, a sign of approval.
My hands grabbed his hair, pulling him back to my face. I kissed him while he used his other hand to lift my shirt, exposing both breasts.
It took no time for him to work his way down, taking my nipple in his mouth, leaving me breathless. His tongue circled the hardened bud, driving me absolutely wild.
I could feel his excitement pressing into the inside of my thigh, so I squirmed, causing a friction I'm sure he noticed. I felt the growl more than heard it.
His hand slid up my thigh, stopping on the inside, just before the hem. I could feel myself shaking in anticipation. He hooked the edge of my shorts, and with no mercy, pulled them down viciously, exposing my plain black cotton panties.
His hand glided over my core, feeling how damp the fabric already was. I was breathing heavily, silently begging for more.
"Jesus Christ, Leena." His mouth reached down and kissed my breast again. "So fucking wet."
His words had my brain scrambling. I hadn't been intimate in so long.
His fingers traced over the wet spot, teasing me until I was sure I was going mad.
"Noah..." His eyes looked up to me, my left nipple glistening from his saliva. "Fucking please."
The smile on his face was so wicked, I swear I saw the devil behind it. And this was my one-way ticket to hell. At least it's warm there.
His fingers slipped under the fabric, running up and down over my slit, nearly hitting that one spot I needed.
"This? This is what you want?" His tone was deadly, which had me reeling even harder. I fucking needed him.
I could only nod wildly. His index finger slipped inside, curling at just the right angle, hitting the sweetest spot, I could've burst right then and there.
"That's it. Good girl." His words had me moaning softly, his fingers working me over. Noah continued this until I was nearly seeing stars, his thumb now rubbing circles over my clit. I was ready, so fucking ready, eyes shut tight, climbing the hill and about to fall over. Then it was gone.
My eyes burst open, nearly ready to complain before I felt his hands pulling my panties down, his hot breath just centimeters from my core.
"I can't tell you how many times I've thought about this, Leena. I'll bet you taste incredible." Breathing was out of the question. Air no longer existed.
And that was it, he was on me. His tongue lapping up my pussy, humming while I gripped his hair frantically.
"Holy fuck, Noah."
"That's it baby. Scream my name. Be good for me."
My brain was no longer firing on any cylinders. I was on another plane altogether.
His lips latched onto my sweet spot and sucked like his life depended on it.
"Noah, oh my god! Oh my god, I'm going to come." My back arched off the couch, and my vision went white.
"Noah, Noah, Noah!" My voice was going hoarse. My toes curled and I began to feel the overstimulation, my hips bucking against him.
His arms pinned my legs down, leaving me nowhere to go. I fought for purchase against his skin.
"Please, please I can't. I can't!" He finally released me, lapping at my inner thigh one more time, causing me to shiver.
He sat back, a satisfied grin on his face.
When I looked up at him, I could see the clear bulge in the sweats, and smiled my own wicked grin.
I saw the confusion on his face before I sat up, simultaneously pushing him back on the couch, ripping the front of the pants down. It came to my attention that he wasn't wearing any boxers, so his cock sprung free instantly.
His eyes were fixed on me while I sized up his length, trying to work out how I was going to swallow this damn thing.
I slid the tip of my tongue across the top, eliciting a hiss from his lips. He stared down at me, watching my every calculated move.
With no warning, I wrapped my lips around him, and took him as far down as my throat would allow.
"Oh, fuck..." His eyes went half-masked, his mouth falling open. "Do that again. Jesus Christ."
It didn't sound like a question, so I diligently obeyed. My throat gave out about halfway down his length, causing me to gag. His hand grabbed my hair, nails in my scalp, holding me there.
"Yeah, baby. That's it." He let my head up, saliva dripping from my lips. "You're so good, Leena. Such a good girl."
His hand pressed me back down gently until I had a good rhythm going, my head bobbing, eyes looking up at him.
"Fuck, girl, I'm not going to last like this." I hollowed my cheeks, increasing the suction, and his eyes bulged.
His head flew back, his chest heaving wildly. "Just like that, baby. Don't stop."
I obeyed, suddenly really enjoying the submissive role. His hand guided me faster until I felt him harden to nearly stone.
"I'm going to come, don't stop...fuck don't fucking stop baby."
I felt the first hot stream hit the back of my throat, and I relaxed, waiting for the rest before sucking just a second longer, listening to him hiss in response. I let him out of my mouth with a pop, smiling at him sheepishly when I sat up.
He laid there, eyes closed, hands on his chest, working to breathe.
It took a while, but he eventually opened his eyes. His smile was lazy, and he lifted an arm to pull me down, now laying on his chest again.
He reached behind me and flung the blanket over us, kicking his pants the rest of the way off, and looked down at me.
"We shouldn't have done that, huh?"
I blushed, nuzzling my nose into his neck to hide it as best as I could. "No, we shouldn't have."
He ran his hand up and down my arm, now turning his attention back to the movie that was still playing.
"We'll do better tomorrow." Was the last I heard before my eyes drifted closed.

Fate Or Chance | Steve Harrington x Fem! Reader.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Read the summary here, it's much more complete, but, in a nutshell, it's about Steve and you meeting for the first time in a movie theater on Valentine's Day 💕.
Warnings: Fluff, Model! Steve, Designer! Reader.
Words: 1.9k
Tumblr media
You brought your hands to your lips, sighing over them to warm them. People walked briskly by your sides, some even bumping into your shoulder, apologizing in hushed tones. Signs with red and pink hearts filled every place, from food businesses to clothing and lingerie stores.
And in the midst of that was you, with your downcast countenance, watching some men enter the stores with a smile of excitement, and women, with flushed cheeks as they left a clothing or chocolate store. You couldn't lie, you felt a little envious, but what could you do besides watching those people being happy with their partners?
Your cell phone rang, making you come out of your little cloud of depression and singleness. The number was Alex's, your best friend. You answered almost the second after she dialed.
"Did you get to the movies yet?" Alex said on the other end of the phone.
"I'm close" you smiled, stopping your step as you saw the large Cinemark sign. You were happy to at least be able to enjoy a horror movie with your best friend, "Why do you ask? are you going to be late?"
Alex sighed heavily, something that made your stomach clench and your nerves make you nauseous. You knew that sigh so well.
"No, not exactly," a noise in the background along with a man's laughter only confirmed your suspicions, "Eddie came as a surprise, you know, for Valentine's Day."
"Oh" you said quietly, your smile fading almost as quickly as it had appeared. Alex and Eddie had been dating for about 10 years, lived through a lot together and always leaned on each other. You admired them, too much. Neither had much time for the other, Alex was a surgeon and Eddie had a band that became incredibly famous in the late 80s.
You didn't want to spend Valentine's Day alone, but you also didn't plan to put your happiness above your best friend's, so, taking a big breath of fresh air, you responded.
"I'm glad he was able to come see you today" you tried to sound as cheerful as possible, because you were actually very happy for them. "You should stay with him, you haven't seen each other for a long time."
Alex blew out the air she had built up. You couldn't help but smile at that, she really was a great friend.
"Thanks for understanding, Y/N, I promise I'll make it up to you."
"There's nothing to make up for, I love seeing you happy, you're like, I don't know, my favorite couple in the world" you let out a laugh as you heard Eddie shout that you were his second favorite girl in the world, "I gotta go, the show starts in a few minutes."
"Enjoy the movie for me, okay?"
"I will, don't worry" you kept up your pace, walking into the movie theater a little more down than before, but not taking the smile off your face, "Bye."

Steve turned off the alarm clock beside him, a heavy sigh escaping his lips. He glued his gaze to the spotless ceiling of the hotel room he was staying in for the weekend.
"You awake already?" muttered Eddie, standing in front of a full-length mirror, his hands working deftly through his hair. He was seeing Alex again today after an entire season out of the country.
"Yeah, I see you too" he sat up in bed, his eyelashes fluttering over his cheeks a little too slowly. Eddie couldn't help but smile mischievously at the sight of him.
"What? you have no one to spend this wonderful day with?" as he teased Steve, he picked up his perfume and poured it on too much. Steve wasn't happy about it, that one in particular was too expensive for him to wear like that.
"Shut the fuck up" he stood up at last, stretching his arms above his head. He hid his feet in his soft cotton slippers, walking lazily to the dining room.
Hundreds of papers were lying on the kitchen counter, all with Steve as the addressee. After his last job, many well-known fashion brands wanted him for their advertising.
He ignored them all, too tired to pay attention to them. He kept walking until he reached the spacious kitchen. His stomach growled in protest.
"I left a slice of pizza from last night lying around" Eddie shouted as he ran for the front door, "I'm going to Alex's house, don't wait for me, I don't think I'll make it."
"Just beat it" he said jokingly, pulling out a bottle of milk and taking a big gulp of it. He had to take care of his physique, much to his bad luck.
The door slammed shut, leaving Steve all alone in an overly large hotel room by one person. For some reason, he felt extremely lonely.
He stood for a few seconds staring at the door, thinking about how different his morning would have been if he had someone special in his life, as well as Eddie and Alex. It hurt him to think like that, it hurt him to think that he might end up alone and with no one to love him, unable to achieve his biggest dream, to have a beautiful family to give his body and soul to.
He tried to erase those intrusive thoughts, put away the bottle of milk and headed for the bedroom. He stopped dead in his tracks when he felt a sheet of paper hit his face.
"What the...?" He brushed it off with a frown, turning to look at the sliding door to the balcony. Eddie had left it open. "Stupid wind."
He looked at the paper, noting that it was a job offer at a freelance firm. Confused, he looked through the rest of the letters, noticing that, in one of the envelopes, came a set of photos with the work they had been doing so far.
The photography was fine, the models were exotic and diverse, something that caught his attention, but, without a doubt, what completely captivated him were the designs the models were wearing. They were very visually appealing.
In less than a second he was already dressed and with his wallet in hand, ready to go somewhere with a computer available so he could do some research about the place.
He wandered around town until he found a library with computers in it. He hurried to grab one and took a seat, typing in as fast as he could the name of the company.
His research led him to a website with a nicely perfected design, the designs available were similar to the samples, but much more eye-catching. He smiled unconsciously.
When he reached the footer, a phone number accompanied by a name caught his eye. It was the name of the manager and Lead Designer, Y/N Y/L/N. He pulled the crumpled letter out of his pocket, the reverse side facing the ceiling. He took a pencil from the pen next to the computer and quickly wrote down the data. For the first time in a long time he was really excited about getting a job.
With a big smile on his face, Steve walked gleefully towards the local subway station hoping he could go visit Eddie and Alex and tell them the news. He skipped down the stairs two at a time, ignoring the leering looks some girls were throwing at him; he couldn't think of anything else but your name, after all, so far you were the Designer that best complemented his personal tastes.
He took a seat on one of the subway chairs next to a man in a suit. He looked furious. Steve almost fell out of his seat when he saw the man give him a withering look.
"Hey," he mumbled, getting up and standing in front of Steve. "You like horror movies?"
Steve blinked slowly, his lips parting slightly. What did he say?
"Ah, yeah, I guess, why the question?" He mumbled in confusion, his brow furrowing slightly as he watched the man toss his a white-colored ticket.
"Here, I'll give it to you, I don't need it anymore anyway."
Steve tried to talk to him, to ask why he was giving that to him, but as soon as he got up, the man was gone on the train that had just arrived, leaving him with confusion and a ticket to a movie he didn't even know was in release.
Tumblr media
"Thank you" you said as you took the box of popcorn from the worker's hands and headed to the room where the show would be screened. Definitely ignorant of the red hearts that decorated it.
You handed over your ticket and nodded when you heard the instructions. Room 4, booth K12. You considered it decent, not too close, not too far. You went on your way and entered the room. Empty.
You sighed, walking down the steps and ignoring the fact that this was too ridiculous, what was so unbelievable about watching a horror movie in company? If you had a partner, you thought, you would definitely watch this with him on Valentine's Day, mainly because they were on sale.
You walked until you saw the letter K on the seat, looking carefully for the number you were entitled to. Just then, you heard heavy footsteps and a man's panting. You decided to ignore it and take a seat.
"Dude, it sure is empty in here" you heard the man say. His footsteps could be heard closer and closer.
For a single second you thought he had an attractive voice, but preferable to keep that thought to yourself, you weren't the kind of person to flatter random people who came to watch the same movie as you.
The sound of the chair next to you made you freeze in place. You turned your head so fast that your neck became sore. Your eyes widened when you saw who it was.
Steve fucking Harrington was sitting next to you in a completely empty movie theater. You felt your heart race at the thought of sharing the same air as the one you admired so much.
"Hi" he smiled awkwardly as he noticed your relentless gaze stopping on him, "what a coincidence that we happened to be together, don't you think?".
You opened your mouth. Nothing. You tried again, but could only let out a soft "yes". You were red with embarrassment, why did this have to happen to you just today?
"Uhm, well, I was just saying that because I didn't want you to think I'm a weirdo or something for sitting here when the cinema is empty, but, you know, it's forbidden to occupy any seat other than yours" from then on you stopped paying attention to what he was saying, you were too busy thinking about how good he looked and how funny it was to hear him talking so fast.
Before you could help yourself, you let out a laugh. Too loud a laugh. You covered your mouth almost instantly, opening your eyes too wide to look normal.
You both looked at each other in silence; you, trying to read Steve's expression, and he, processing what you had just done. In the end, it was Steve who broke the silence. A set of strange laughs made you feel self-conscious, was he making fun of you?
"What was that?" he said between laughs, his eyes forming little crescent moons that sparkled with intensity, "I've never heard someone laugh like that."
"God, how embarrassing" you whispered, covering your face with both hands, feeling the heat rise to your ears.
"Seriously, what do I have to do to hear it again?"
Your heart stopped for a second. You opened a space between your fingers to watch Steve's face. You swore his smile could have killed you. He was smiling so genuinely that, for a second, you forgot that you had let out a laugh so loud and embarrassing that, if there had been more people there, they would be trying to throw you out.
"I..." you gulped, drawing out all your personality for the next move. After all, it was highly unlikely you were going to find it again, "well, you'd have to do something too crazy, maybe shave your head?"
Steve laughed again, this time you joined him. You don't know how long you were like that, the stomach ache and tears were already too present, so you guessed a good while, but you didn't care.
"I'm Steve, by the way" he smiled with a chuckle, wiping the tears from his eyes.
"Y/N" you nodded in his direction, lowering your voice a little at a time as you noticed the screen begin to brighten and the lights dimmed. You turned to look at the screen with a big smile.
You were so caught up in your world that you didn't notice how, even though the show was about to start, Steve didn't take his eyes off you for quite a while, his eyes shining with excitement and his chest quivering with warmth.

After the heartbreak of the Full Moon episode, I need some Stolitz fluff to soothe my soul. I would love to see a Stolitz and Adamsapple double date. Maybe even include some Fizzmodeus because they are extra cute too.
"Who are we having this date with again?" Adam asked as he fixed his tie. Him and Lucifer were getting ready to go on a double date with a couple he couldn't remember the names of.
Lucifer came over and fixed the tie himself. "Stolas and Blitzø, we will be meeting them at Ozzie's. So let's not be late."
Adam rolled his eyes, he didn't care for double dates or see the point. You're basically hanging out with friends and your boyfriend.
They walked through the portal and entered Ozzie's, looking to a far booth the other couple were already there.
"Lucifer! Adam! Over here!" Stolas greeted with a wave of his hand. Blitzø gave a curt wave of his hand.
"Stolas! Good to see you old friend." Lucifer shook their hands, Adam gave them a thin lipped smile.
"What's the matter, to good to speak?" Blitzo commented.
Adam glared. "I could say the same fucking thing to you, clown boy."
Lucifer laughed nervously. "Okay, okay we're here for a good time right?" He leaned in close to Adam. "Be nice."
"I'm always nice."
"Real nice, not bitchy nice." Lucifer deadpanned.
Adam narrowed his eyes. "You're trying my hands but fine." He took a sip of water. "So how did you two meet?"
Stolas perked up. "We met as children, I went to one of his many circus acts and uh, well." His face pinched pink at the memory.
"He's been smitten ever since." Blitzø finished with a smirk. "Though, I have to agree he's always been special. What about you two what brothel did you meet at?"
"You could say Adam and I go way back."
Adam snorted, "Yeah, since the beginning of time. We met in the garden of Eden."
"Wait." Stolas squinted. "You're Adam as in THE Adam? The first man?"
"The one and only." Adam smiled widely.
"Weren't you like the leader of the exterminations? That's kick ass by the way gotta appreciate someone who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty." Blitzø said, he had heard of Adam but wasn't sure what happened after that extermination.
Adam leaned back all smug. "Yeah I know I'm amazing. I'm a fallen angel now, the details aren't important."
"Hey guys! How is everything?" Ozzie came over with Fizz, who fist bumped Blitzø.
"Good Ozzie, as always." Lucifer said.
Blitzø rolled his eyes. "Yeah much better than the last time we were here."
Adam frowned. "What happened."
Stolas looked uncomfortable. "Not important. Let's order!"
They ordered their food and talked until it came. They are their dinner mostly in silence, making the odd comment.
Blitzø shifted in his seat. "So Stolas. I know things haven't been, perfect between us, ever, but what we have is real. And I want to keep having that with you. What I'm trying to say is, Stolas of the Goetia family, will you marry me?" He presented Stolas with a ring box that had a silver band and blue gem.
"Oh Blitzy!! Yes!!"
Adam and Lucifer smiled at the scene before them. "Isn't that just sweet Luci?"
"Yeah. Congratulations you guys."
Adam couldn't help feeling a little lukewarm. He was happy for their friends but yet at the same time a little bit jealous. Him and Lucifer have been together for a while now and they kind of talked about getting married but nothing concrete.
Lucifer turned to look at Adam. "Well, I was going to wait until after dessert but what the hell." The King pulled out a ring box of his own.
"Are you shitting me...." Adam couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"I love you Adam, I've always loved you. I will love you until the end of time. Will you spend eternity together with me as my husband?" Lucifer asked with a smile so wide it hurt his face.
Adam wasn't going to cry, not like Stolas. He blinked back the happy tears. "Fuck yes, it's about fucking time." He put the ring on his finger and kissed his fiance.
"I knew the short guy topped."
"Blitzø!"

𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 ; 𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐢 𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐱 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝟏. 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝟐.
word count: 2.962k trigger warning: lots of cursing, drugs, smoking, one word of fat-shaming (it's that hippie on the movie so don't work up on it), bad flirting, nikki calls y/n 'princess'
waking up somewhere strange wasn't unusual for y/n. only triggering. it seems like the substance won again.
where the fuck i am? remembering some rockers and that she quit her job, she sat up in the bed... the bed?! what the fuck happened last night? lifting the blanket, her clothes were on her, including her jacket. only her shoes were missing. looking around, it wasn't her place, but she didn't put shame on herself as she lit a cigarette from the box that was on the floor. her shoes were also there, so nobody stole them. great. it wasn't hangover, rather weariness. walking out from the bedroom, she found nikki laying on the couch. the sunbeams painted his skin gold. at least he wasn't dead.
turning away from him, she looked into the mirror in front of her. her hair was messy, and she really looked like a homeless people. a stylish homeless people, the blood from her nose dried on her lips and her chin, dark circles under her eyes, probably the makeup.
"jesus fuck..." she whispered. anyway, she gotta call jessica, hopefully she's worried about her runaway friend. opening the front door, y/n saw a telephone on the street, right in front of the house. walking down on the steel stairs, she found some coins in her pocket. dialing their landline, she waited until jessica picked it up. brushing her hair, she leaned on the phone station.
"y/n, is that you?"
"how did you know it's me?" not the usual conversation to start, but at least she knew y/n got away.
"you weren't here and you didn't say a word. where are you? and what was that yesterday?"
the sun was too bright, it tried to carve out her eyes.
"i'm... i'm at a guy, i don't exactly know where, but i think it's still in los angeles. and... i quit yesterday."
"you got away with those guys?" y/n grimaced at the question.
"with those fuckface-brads? hell no!"
jessica laughed at the end of the line.
"no, silly. those rockers guys."
"oh... yeah, them! nikki and... tommy i think? i'm at nikki's. listen, i don't have any coins, so i'm going home some day and picking up my stuff."
"how so?"
"i'm moving out. see you at home, jess." with that, she put the phone down, exhaling, she found sunglasses in her other pocket, and her cigarettes. in the other, she found a... wallet? oh yeah, she pocketed it from last night in the big chaos. tucking the bills into her bra, lightning one cigarette, she didn't know what to do. how to get a new job, how to get more money... what if this shit with nikki and those others gonna work out? it's such a stupid idea to hold into dreams and fictions, and the chance is 1 to 99, but what if that one is the winner? and what's gonna come after that?
an old man walk by her, staring at her like she was homeless. well, she was, but at least she was a hot homeless.
"what the fuck are you staring at?"
as she stood there, she knew she gotta go back to tell nikki that she's gonna be there. or, maybe after picking up her clothes, she's moving to him. she was ready to sleep with a knife either, if he wanted to have sex, but at this point, maybe getting aids from a third, from the plaid they slept in was a bigger danger.
"you still here?" she heard nikki from behind. turning around, she sat down to his legs.
"i just called my roommates. and i really hope that band-shit comes together because i don't know what to do."
nikki rubbed his eyes, nodding.
"we're gonna meet at noon, i called two guys, and tommy. you're gonna be here too, to test your voice at the songs."
"that's fine. listen, nikki, i..." y/n started, but then she shook her head.
"what is it, y/n?" he turned to her.
"nah, forget it." can i live at your place because i become a homeless chick and my only chance is your fucking visionary band?
"you can tell me everything, princess." he winked at her, making her rolling her eyes while smiling. "are you hungry? we can eat somewhere if you want... or steal something because i don't have any bucks, sorry."
y/n reached into her bra cup, picking out the stack of money she just put there. nikki's face lighted up.
"do you want traditional or some exotic?"
"where did you get that money?" nikki asked while picking up his bottle.
"i stole it from those assholes yesterday."
"really? you do it on regular basis or was this a special occasion?" y/n smirked, shaking her head while munching on her pancakes.
"i lost my job, they lost their money. i think we're equal."
"you just amaze me more and more."
y/n looked away. she didn't like when other people saw her blushing.
"you can't like someone like me. i'm way too troubleful, you'd throw out my stuff after two days. i'm a shitty person with shitty problems."
"i'm a shitty person with shitty problems too. the question is, can you sing good enough this noon." nikki brushed her hand. she didn't know if it was accidental or on purpose.
"how good should i be? i sang in the chore of my schools and the orphanage, but i don't know if smoking and drinking soiled it."
they looked at each other.
"well", nikki started, "we'll see. but we need a makeup artist also, so if that doesn't work... we still have a job for you."
y/n smiled at that. why did he want to keep her?
at noon, they walked back to his apartment, y/n decided to pick up her stuff after the 'rehearsal'. sitting on the couch, she waited for tommy to stomp in with a beer in her head, sunglasses on her eyes, her coat still on. instead of him, a fat guy with blonde hair stepped in, making her lift her eyebrows.
"sorry dude, i think you're at the wrong rent. we didn't organize any hippie parties, so-"
"y/n, you already met o'dean?" nikki came after the guy. pulling up her eyebrows again, y/n nodded.
"yeah." standing up and going after nikki, y/n took off her sunglasses. "sorry, but are you fucking kidding? this guy is lamest ass i've ever seen. ain't no way we're gonna work out well." she tried to be as quiet as possible, but she tried to talk some sense into her new friend's head.
"do you really think?" nikki said, searching for his guitar and the cords.
"anybody who's coming right after him is gonna be the perfect with an electronic guitar, but not him."
"just try out! at least someone's coming. but i called someone else too, mick... mars? i think that's his name."
"i bet in one pound of cocaine that he's gonna be better than this guy." she ended the conversation, coughing some to regain her voice. come on, it's like riding a bike, isn't it? once you learn it, you can never forget.
"what song would you like to sing to test your song?" nikki asked her as she walked back. y/n shrugged her shoulder.
"whatever you want."
in that moment, tommy came in too, bringing up his drummer kit too.
"hey guys! is this the new dude?" he asked, placing down the stuff, giving a high five to y/n.
"i think so." tommy saw on her face the slight grimace, but chose to ignore it.
"sorry, but what is she doing here?" y/n laughed at the guy's question. what was his name? she didn't even care.
"i'm the pre-singer, dude. that my rehearsal, just as yours." how can she hate someone just by his presence and his question?
after nikki came back, he chose her 'paint it black' by rolling stones. "really?" y/n asked, looking at him.
"we're gonna try it with more rocks then the original." it meant that she had to have a stronger voice and wide scale of notes.
she pulled a wicked grin on her lips.
"don't even believe for a second."
the first strings of the guitar resonated through her lungs and throat, and she knew that this is gonna be her entrance into nikki's band.
♡ 𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐊𝐈 ♡
i see a red door and i want it painted black no colors anymore i want them to turn black
i see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes i have to turn my head until my darkness goes
y/n's voice was better than he expected. keeping out strong high notes and variating without any bigger problems, she aced the verses as they kept playing, filling the whole room with her voice, maybe people heard it on the streets, too. turning around at the second half of the song, she looked into his eyes, coming up to him like a diva.
no more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue i could not foresee this thing happening to you
then, as they picked up the drums and the strings again, she began to shake her head and her hips, turning back like there was a real audience. how did this girl not settle into a band faster? she was nearly better than any 'singer' he worked with in his previous bands, but she never heard a girl sing like this, like joan jett, but in the near, no girl wanted to be joan jett. but y/n... she's something else. something new. something bitter and fiery, sparkling and bombing.
if i look hard enough into the setting sun my love will laugh with me before the morning comes
maybe he was falling into love with her.
the song ended, the girl turned and bended before them, just like she was a real singer in a real band. clapping to her, she smiled and ran her fingers through her hair.
"fuck, it was almost better than sex."
nodding, nikki went to get himself a beer, tommy right after him.
"did you like it?" nikki asked him, picking out two beers.
"dude, it was fucking awesome! are we gonna really have a girl as a frontman? well, frontwoman, but anyway!"
"i still want a dude, you know. but... if they sing, maybe we can change vocalists from song to song, because i need y/n, and i need somebody else." he lamented, making tommy nod.
"okay, but please, keep her. i've never heard someone sing like that."
"me neither, dude. me neither."
did he really said 'i need her'?
♡ 𝐘/𝐍 ♡
"bang bang, bitch!" she said after a couple of hours when the hippie was kicked out, closing the door with a bang! after him. mick mars was in, and she was snickering when she heard her solo while sitting on the couch a couple minutes ago.
"what was so funny, little girl? you probably never heard any pro instruments."
y/n shook her head, smirking.
"it was fucking awesome, man. i just said to nikki, that anybody who steps in this room after that guy can be better than him." mick nodded at her words, placing down the guitar.
"nice to know that our singer is also a witch. mick mars." he reached his for her to shake. y/n accepted it, standing up.
"two in one, y/n y/l/n."
now, it was the time to search for a singer. like, a man. she at first found it interesting that just her wasn't enough for the band, but she was lucky that nikki even considered to take her in, and she didn't want a useless conflict in the beginning, so she just kept quiet.
"so... someone mind telling me who's gonna be the other singer in this band?" mick asked. y/n was curious too, leaning her head on her palm.
"well, we already have a crazy, joan jett and aretha franklin-mixed rock chick, so we need is a dude that looks like david lee roth with a vibe like david bowie, and i'm not about to settle for some regular looking, normal sounding asshole."
"so... we're looking for a skinny, blond fucker with moves."
y/n didn't know guys like the one nikki and mick visioned. or, she knew but she ended up in a big fight with him. so... nope, she didn't know anyone.
"wait, guys. i think i know our guy, dudes."
riding in mick's car, y/n sat in the back with tommy. looking at him, she lit a cigarette.
"do you want some?"
"yeah, thanks." he responded, y/n lit it for him. "you were fucking cool, y/n. with you on our side, we can't lose!"
"thanks, toms." she smiled, blowing out the smoke. "and who is your friend? you know, the david lee roth and david bowie-mixed one."
"oh, we were friends in high school. his name is vince, he was the coolest dude i've ever known, so i hope that he's gonna join us."
"yeah", y/n nodded at that, throwing out the butt of the cigarette. "i hope so, too."
arriving to the place tommy told to mick, it was a pool party. this is not what i signed up for, she thought, and as she stepped out from the car, she and mick looked at each other. she was sure that they thought the same thing: are you fucking serious? and the song that was playing...
"fucking my kind of lover? you serious, tommy?" she asked, looking at him through her sunglasses.
"don't you like the song, princess?" nikki asked, stepping beside her. y/n rolled her eyes, then sneaked her arm into the crook of his elbow.
"my trash ex listened to it too. not a wonder he ended up beaten up after a night." nikki snickered at that, and then they smoothed into the partying crowd while mick said that the band of vince's name was shitty. shitty name, shitty band. trying to look at the guy, it was hard for her since she was smaller.
"should i lift you up, y/n?" tommy asked from her, making her look up to him.
"yes, if you want me to choke you with my legs."
"you can think that it's a fret from you y/n, but... it is not." nikki whispered to him. being this close to his face made her blush again, placing her hand on his chest. it was warm and hard from the leather jacket he had.
"stop it, sixx. you and i both know how i meant."
"and do you know what i mean by saying that you're the prettiest girl in the area?" fuck you, sixx. y/n lifted her sunglasses.
"probably that you've not tried enough girls in this area."
"stop it, y/n. we both know what i meant." nikki grabbed the whiskey, drinking from it.
"day-drinker much", y/n said, pocketing away unnoticed the little plastic bags that contained some drugs. well, almost unnoticed as nikki watched the whole procedure as she tucked into her bra, beside the money.
"you keep your id there too?" he asked, making her turn to him.
"wanna find out?" she snickered, lighting a cigarette. "i'm selling these at night, i gotta pay the rent."
"don't you wanna move in with me? well, i mean, you know, it's just-"
y/n nodded, trying to keep it casual, but inside, she was happier than ever in the month.
"don't brag, sixx, i'm in. i sleep on the left side that's closer to the door. and i also keep a knife under my pillow in case you don't keep those hands to yourself."
"so you like bdsm. cool." nikki smiled, making her laugh. the song ended, mick and tommy came back.
"his voice ain't bad." mick said, taking a swig.
"i don't care if he can sing or not, look what he's doing to those chicks." at nikki's words, y/n coughed loudly, getting their attention. "don't worry y/n, we need someone who can actually sing."
"guys will like you, too. at least they gonna come for anything, if that's not your music." the girl looked at mick, shrugging her shoulder.
"i would hit your arm, but i'm a little bit afraid of you."
tommy went to talk with vince while mick, nikki and y/n stood together. y/n looked around, at the girls. bright colors, bikinis... somehow she didn't have the vibe to strip to her underwear and swim in the water. a group of girl stared at her, whispering something and she stared back. in the end, they looked away, but they surely talked about her.
"i really hope it goes well. i don't fucking have time for that blonde bitch." mick said, making y/n nod. as vince began to shake his head, y/n didn't let to slip the chance. he's not gonna fuck up their plan, not on her watch. ignoring nikki's question, she pushed tommy aside, turning vince to herself.
"you only have one chance, tomorrow. be there or fuck yourself, but don't wase our time."
"wow, tommy, is this chick the part of the deal too?" y/n pulled up her eyebrows.
"no, i'm the chick who'll cut off your dick in your sleep if you don't take this seriously." she replied, looking at the girl on vince's side, then looked back. "so? you coming tomorrow?"
vince looked at tommy, and it was like tommy convinced him. "yeah, sure..."
y/n nodded, letting the trio talk as she stepped back to mick and nikki. lighting a third cigarette, she adjusted her bra full of drugs.
"what did you do? vince seems a little bit surprised." nikki asked her.
y/n pushed the sunglasses up on her nosebridge, blowing out the smoke.
"i just made sure he'll come tomorrow."

okay like last time, I will compile my reaction/thoughts for ep13 and gbc as a whole :D (i don't do this often bc I can't write well... but..)
I knew it.... I don't like Hina HAHA. Like, I get her, but you really left Nina just like that huh?
Tumblr media
Go tell her off! Maybe people will say that Nina is having a hero complex or sticking her nose in to other people's business, but I think it's very brave of her.
Also, ngl, I didn't expect for this to be the reason why she was bullied...
Tumblr media
Momoka no......
Tumblr media
Miura-san is a goat for this one and why does Subaru looks like she's saying "God, why did it end up being me explaining it to you"
Tumblr media
Seriously having this truck right by their agency is a huge slap to the face
Tumblr media
Nina Fang (also Nina stop reading the negative comments...)
Tumblr media
"I was wrong and Hina was right all long." You know what? Fuck you, Hina. I know at present it's like Hina lowkey pushing Nina and motivating her, but I can't appreciate it that much lmao.
Tumblr media
I love the moments where Momoka gets all serious/mature mode
Tumblr media
Momoka apologizing.... seeing everyone getting shocked about it.... Honestly, this one broke my heart a bit. Momoka, who had lost all self-confidence, had rebuilt it very slowly because of Nina's and everyone else's trust in her.
So, seeing the song that was made by her with the members in mind not doing well must be a blow to that fragile confidence yet again. She was guilty that she let everyone down.
Tumblr media
you're not wrong, nina. i promise you.
Tumblr media
Everyone is tired (affectionate) of Nina's outbursts while Momoka looks awestruck... Of course, we will add this to the album of the Momoka Gayze (tm) but I think this is also related to her self-confidence.
I just said that Momoka felt guilty and like how Momoka blew Nina away in Ep. 1, Nina's outburst blew her away in a way that no, no one was blaming Momoka for their failure and the person that she is closest to still believes and trusts in her.
That awestruck gaze, admiring Nina's confidence and unwavering belief for her and the group. To the song. To their decision and that they weren't wrong. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but let me be lmao.
Tumblr media
ugh the softness in her gayze.... i can't...
Tumblr media
SHUT THE FUCK UP HINA. Nina is brave enough to do the things no one would normally do!!
Tumblr media
bro whoever that was, it's on sight. also momoka, subaru. fight em
Tumblr media Tumblr media
tomo no...
Tumblr media
sigh... i love togetoge
Tumblr media Tumblr media
let them drink!!!
Tumblr media
Momoka gayze again
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You love this city (and Momoka) and met friends (and a girlfriend) right Nina?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ngl, I did like the touch that no miracle happened. Like, oh wow, a sudden burst of tickets selling! It is what it is.
Tumblr media
First time when i'm sad we didn't get a training arc for Nina playing guitar
Tumblr media
I love them
Tumblr media
idiot (affectionate)
Tumblr media
ngl. the song is not for me HAHAHA but welp. I will take this camera angle. thanks.
Tumblr media
Okay, now for GBC as a whole: I adore this show so fucking much. I didn't expect to fall in love with the show when I started watching it, but man. I am so glad that I didn't wait for this to finish and got to wait each week for a new episode with everyone.
Personally, the ending was okay. It feels like it's just the beginning, so it didn't feel like an ending ending. Idk how to explain it. It just.... it's like not everything has been concluded.
Regarding momonina: I am not surprised that nothing happened on camera. But with all the subtext and hints, I will take it. Sure, I wished they addressed the confession more openly, but you can't win it all.
Overall, this is my anime of the season, possibly anime of the year, and definitely one of my all time favorites. Maybe I'll make a post about the ED (since it's an epilogue), about momonina, or my fave moments throughout the season but we'll see haha.
"I wasn't wrong, was I?"
"To fall in love with Girls Band Cry."
