Jason had a favorite perch when he was Robin. It was just a statue behind the library, with a wing you could sit under when it was raining, but Dick never paid attention to it and Tim never even knew about it, so it became his place, a symbol of his Robin.
He didn’t think anyone noticed until he came back and found that the statue had been turned into a shrine to the dead Robin by the local kids

Hi I saw your dragon hybrid (stormchaser sounds really cool by the way ^^)
I was wondering if request are open , can I ask for a night fury x sand wraith hybrid species please 🙏
Hi! Yours is the the first in the wave of asks I got when I posted that dragon hybrid, so a lot of the upcoming drawings are all going to be hybrids ^^
Thank you for letting me flex my brain a bit for these designs <3

stanford pines is trapped in a prison of writing.
his whole arc is about stepping down from this “special” and “unique” pedestal where only he and the “truly brilliant ones” can change the world, and in stepping down, he learns that he is just like everyone else, not above them and destined for greatness, nor below them and a six-fingered freak.
unfortunately, his reveal being so late in the show means that he spends most of his episodes lurking in the basement, hunting something supernatural, or dumping exposition. in a narrative sense, he cannot escape being this Enlightened Other figure because the story literally doesn’t give him room to breathe.
i think that’s my one big problem with gravity falls’ pacing, honestly. where episodes 14 and 16 bizarrely choose to exclude ford almost-entirely from the wacky shenanigans, and even in episodes like mabelcorn where he plays a role, it’s the story needing to explain ford’s role with bill
i think that’s why so much supplementary gravity falls media talks about ford or comes to us from ford’s perspective (journal 3, segments of the book of bill, lost legends) because ford would otherwise be left as a big exposition device

okay but watching pomme and richas' family growing RACE gets so intense. okay. look.
pomme: baghera, antoine, aypierre, kameto, etoiles, bad, and max (from aypierre) for parents; dapper as sibling; maxpierre twin babies for siblings. she has ten family members in total.
richas: forever, pac, mike, cellbit, felps, roier, and quackity for parents; foolish and vegetta as grandmas; and leo as an aunt. if we count bobby as richas' deceased step-brother, then richarlyson has eleven family members in total.
they both have seven parents in total.
pomme is catching up. richas its time to start whoring your dads out again. dont let her win

i cant believe homer invented the “and there was only one bed” trope in 800 BCE when telemachus and peisistratus of pylos go on a month-long coming of age journey together and bond over their shared grief over what they’ve lost in a war they were too young to remember anything before and they’re so close telemachus is nudging peisistratus awake with his foot at 2am and peisistratus isn’t even bothered by it he just goes “ughhh 5 more minutes.” hey did i mention there was only one bed

"That's not my mom/grandmother/dad/grandfather, etc."
I promise you it is. They've been altered by disease, but it didn't erase their identity. They still have many of the same personality traits and interests and memories that they always had, and even the parts that have changed can still be worth knowing. There are those who only know them as they are now, and they can still find them funny and fascinating and likable and endearing, and you don't want to miss out on this part of their life.
"I don't want to remember them like this."
So you're admitting your love of them is conditional? That there's a certain point that disease or disability can bring them to where you no longer wish to know them? Their decline may be difficult to watch, but you can't abandon them to deal with it alone. If you really love them, you can love them through every point of their life. Don't let fear cast out love.

It feels like getting pulled underwater—the sharp sideways tug, the slight drag of resistance, then falling, falling, till the waves close over his head. But Logan can breathe when he rights himself again, even if the light has a watery filter to it and the voices have a distant echo.
//
Sometimes Logan gets a glimpse of guys who've been long gone from the teal, clustered at the far end of the bench or sitting in the box across the ice. He heard Jason's voice in the hallway loud and clear, that infectious laugh. And he could have sworn he saw Raffi fucking Torres getting out of a car in the players' lot. Something tells him not to look up the rosters.
Commissioned @impmakesart to make a painting based on the Sharks' Cali Fin hype reel + the flip side by frausorge. Imp was amazing to work with and I could not be more emotional about this piece and so, so pleased with how it turned out!! 🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️ Commission him here. Thank you Imp!

"[Elizabeth Woodville] was the only member of [Crown Prince Edward of Westminster's] original 1471 council not already on the king’s council and her name headed the list of those appointed as administrators in Wales during Edward’s minority. [She remained on the council after it was expanded in 1473 and granted significant new governing and judicial powers]."
"In 1478 Prince Richard [of Shrewsbury] married the Mowbray heiress. Like his elder brother he had a chancellor, seal, household and council to manage his estates. His council, like that of Prince Edward, comprised the queen [Elizabeth Woodville] and a group of magnates and bishops, few of whom were Woodville supporters [...] It was Elizabeth who mattered, for Richard resided with her and Rivers treated his affairs as their own."
