Obviously. Compact but packs a punch. Trying to be two cars at once. Undeniably vintage. This car will follow you around thinking it's subtle.

Claudia:

"Triumph Spitfire"

A streamlined sports car. Made for racing but a universal appeal. Meticulous details that make for an effortless finish. Only produced for 18 years. This car will beat you and you'll be happy to lose.

Daniel:

"1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer"

An exceptional car in its prime. A fully metal body that will come out of any crash saying "you should see the other guy." No A/C or cup holders, grow up. This car marked the end of an era, for better or worse.

HELLO HI HELLO I AM!!! RECOVERING CURRENTLY!!!!

So I haven't posted in a small moment and planned to get myself going again soon but right now I am recovering from an accident (I won't get into the nitty gritty) that has left me quite shaken. FIRST OFF I AM OKAY! Minor injuries so nothing alarming I am physically fine besides being sore for a bit and some scrapes and bruises that are still healing, including my arms which is making drawing a bit difficult. I'm slowly getting better but cant really draw for long periods and honestly I might not draw much for a bit till I feel better both physically and mentally. its the mentally part that might take some time. But I'm resting, rest assured!

ANYWAY this is more just an update cause I know i've been a lil absent. ESPECIALLY after this accident. I'm not abandoning the blog by any means, def still check on tumblr but couldn't seem to muster the energy to interact with much at the moment as my brain is a little rattled up.

I hope yall are all okay! I hope your days are bright and yall are taking care of yourselves!

heyo just wanted to sneak into your timeline and say that, your f/o loves you so much.

even on your bad days, when the thought of getting out of bed is unbearable.

when the thought of eating anything or drinking even water is insurmountable.

when all you want to do is lie there and sink into the mattress and never get up again.

if you snap at your f/o because you just can't hold it in,

if you lay there with tears streaming down your face, or feeling absolutely nothing at all.

I promise you even in your worst moments your f/o still loves you so, so much.

They'll offer to let you sit up beside them in bed, if you just cant get out of it "at least you're sitting up" or they'll lay beside you if even that's too much.

they'll bring you something small and easy or comforting to eat and a bottle of cold water. Even if you can only take a bite "just for them" or just one drink they're so proud of you for trying.

They'll hold you, and whisper kind words into your ear, even when your head is so loud, they'll quietly work to push the monsters in your head away until you can only hear their soft, loving words for you.

They brush it off if you snap, or are upset with them. They know you don't really mean the things you say, they assure you nothing you can do or say will ever push them away from you.

Theyll stay with you, when you are feeling upset, angry, or even nothing at all. Through the good times with you and the bad.

They love you even during the bad times, not in spite of the good. no matter what <3

On top of everything else that's happened in the last month or so

(girlfriend breaking up with me / me running off in the night w the friend I was supposed to be maid of honor with bc her (now ex) fiance came home drunk and scared us, while ofc we also both were in swimsuits and had like NO money or even shoes due to incredibly poor timing / Getting stuck in Dallas for TWO MONTHS longer than I meant to be due to bullshit work transfer systems (and admitedly my own inability to remember that deadlines exist) / that same friend going BACK to her shit boyfriend alone to a city 4 hours away from anyone she may call for help if things go wrong / me now no longer having a place in dallas to stay for these next 2 months bc I was SUPPOSED to stay with that friend but her bastard boyfriend doesn't want me in his house anymore bc he knows I'd tell his girlfriend to dump his ass)

I have now lost my fucking house keys.

Anyways I may or may not be way less active for a bit so this is the formal apology and explanation for that. Sorry guys, we are NOT going back to ur normally scheduled rapid fire ninja content as promised for like. A minute. Possibly. We'll see. Sometimes my own motivation wave surprises me.

I'm still chasing the high of these bg3 sketches I drew like... summer/fall last year. They're pretty much the only drawings from last year I legitimately like and had fun doing.

Something I really appreciate about TDP's worldbuilding is the way it gives enough detail to reasonably connect some pieces, while also leaving plenty of space to play. I feel like the example in show that I come back to most often are the Earthblood elves in S4 (and a bit in S5).

For example:

Given that the Uncharted Forest seems to be where the majority of Earthblood elves live, they likely use the forest as an inherent form of defense. They are also much further east into Xadia compared to Moonshadow and Sunfire elves. Therefore, it makes sense they're less overtly militaristic compared to the other two (cloaked villages and assassins vs weaponry, strong military presence integrated into day-to-day interactions and laws) groups of elves.

The fact that the Uncharted Forest is uncharted indicates less emphasis on written works (unlike Sunfire elves with the Great Bookery). This likely means that oral tradition and storytelling is how their knowledge is passed down and recorded.

The riders of the Drakewood would have little reason to ride drakes unless they were 1) hunting, 2) trading, or both. Their affinity for nets, chases, and ensnaring, as well as having to feed the drakes (who would likely be omnivores or carnivore leaning) means a lot of meat is passing through their hands. They also seem to hunt more than other elves we see (Moonshadows foraging and carrying moonberry juice > hunting while on the road). This emphasis on hunting for food for the Drakeriders, with meat then likely being traded to allies, possibly reflects why Earthblood elves we see are more willing to use (and abuse) animals (the Drakeriders) and subsequently why Terry is maybe more okay, overall, with dark magic. Terry clearly came from a different village, but we can see a consistent thread of how they treat and frame nature between them, making N'than the only true exception.

Being so far into Xadia likely protects them from the more imminent threat of dark mages that western elves have to deal with, at least culturally/in theory. The Drakeriders, at least, are "known for viciously protecting their turf," using N'than as a cultural exception of bonding with outsiders and being willing to. While other Earthblood elves might be friendlier, Terry being willing to leave before or after meeting Claudia is likely more odd; this isn't true for just Earthblood elves, though, as it seems inter-community travel isn't common for any group of elf, furthering their collectivist leaning isolationist tendencies ("they always told me outsiders were dangerous, but—").

Lastly, Terry mentions that there a lot of synonyms for cinnamon in traditional Earthblood language(s), indicating that—if not in general, then at least for his regional dialect—there is a lot of emphasis on food and cooking.

And idk. I just think it's all neat, and makes me wonder what Earthblood elf lives/communities are like for those outside the Drakewood, and if they used to be more dependent on Rex Igneous in the past before he started (seemingly) really withdrawing from the wider world on a more consistent basis.

whats your favorite transformers show and why? which ones would you recommend to a new transformers fan?

Hmmm.. I'm biased and I would say my favorite Transformers show is Transformers Prime, it was my introduction into Transformers and it was the one I found myself rewatching the most ! All the characters were super enjoyable and fun, plus all the character designs are fantastic even when they take a very different direction than G1 ! I found myself the most invested in TFP's story compared to other TF shows so I recommend TFP for new transformers fans ! After Transformers Prime, I watched Transformers Animated which was also very fun, so I'd probably also recommend that one as well !
