Hi! I’m a huge fan of your work, it reminds me of what fandom was like when I was younger and there were request blogs all over, lol. Could I submit a pairing request for either LOTR, FNaF, or both? I have no gender preference, and I’d be ok with romantic, platonic, or undefined/queerplatonic ships 😄
Some stuff about me/my self insert: I’m 20, I have short, curly brown hair, white skin and I wear glasses. I am autistic, and my special interest is in puppetry. I also like reading, costume making, sewing, acting, writing music, writing fiction, lots of writing in here…
I’m into a lot of different music genres, and if I had to describe my aesthetic, I’d say it’s very 1980s most of the time? But I’m also a big fan of ren fair/historical-inspired costumes. I have pretty severe sensory issues and I’m situationally mute as well. But despite that, I really love rock music, hardcore stuff, techno/nerdcore, and rap. I like some softer music, too, like I’d listen to sweet indie music too! (And I secretly love classical piano.)
I’m not really sure how to describe my personality. I have a lot of it, I think. I’m very loud and authentic, and people probably find me annoying. I’m excited to se what you come up with! If anything needs to be changed, added onto, resubmitted, whatever, I can make whatever changes you need so you can write your pairing 😄
Hello!
Thank you for your super sweet words!
I would love to write you a LOTR and FNAF matchup!
I did romantic, I hope that's okay!
<333333333
Don't worry, I was able to find you your matches with the information that you provided.
:)
I really hope you like them!
Enjoy!

Lord Of The Rings;
Pippin Took -
Tumblr media
You and Pippin had known of each other for a while - Hobbiton isn’t that big, after all.
But your first real interaction happened when Pippin, in all his boundless energy, ran straight into you while carrying a basket of stolen mushrooms.
He knocked your glasses askew, sending you stumbling back, while the mushrooms went flying.
Instead of apologizing immediately, he dramatically gasped, “My dear mushrooms!” before realizing you were still on the ground.
“Oh no! Are you alright? Here- let me- oh, your glasses, your poor glasses! I think I bent them- oh no, you can’t see, can you? I’ve blinded you! Merry’s going to kill me!”
After a lot of frantic rambling, he helped you up, and from then on, he made it his personal duty to “protect” you from any more unexpected hobbit collisions (most of which were his fault).
Pippin loved listening to your info dump.
It didn’t matter if it was about puppetry, historical fashion, or music - he’d sit there, chin in hands, completely enraptured.
Sometimes, he’d repeat things you’d told him back at the most unexpected times.
You’d be sewing a costume, and he’d casually remark, “Ah yes, a fine example of 18th-century tailoring methods. I hear they used something called a whipstitch?”
(He’s proud of himself for remembering.)
You introduced him to rock music, explaining how different instruments worked, and how beats and rhythms were structured.
Pippin, being musically gifted, picked it up ridiculously fast and even tried to replicate it on his lute.
Was Hobbiton ready for rock ballads?
Probably not.
Whenever you struggled with sensory overload or something, Pippin was surprisingly gentle and understanding.
He’d sit with you quietly, handing you a plushie or one of your dolls, letting you have your space while still being present.
You’d challenge each other to silly drawing contests, usually ending with Pippin doodling ridiculous little caricatures of the villagers (which often got him in trouble).
You once mentioned how much you loved puppetry, and Pippin - being the theatrical hobbit he is - immediately demanded a puppet play.
You spent an entire week making small, detailed Hobbit puppets, and he put on the most dramatic performance Hobbiton had ever seen.
Let’s be honest - being Pippin’s friend meant getting roped into some mischief.
Whether it was sneaking extra pies from the marketplace or hiding from an angry farmer, you were always laughing, even when you were running for your life.
Pippin didn’t realize he was falling for you at first.
He just knew that whenever he saw you, he felt warm, like he’d just eaten something sweet.
Like pie.
He started going out of his way to see you, constantly.
Running errands?
He’ll walk with you.
Sitting outside reading?
He just happens to be passing by.
He became ridiculously flustered whenever you adjusted your glasses or pushed your curls back.
The first time you did it in front of him, he nearly tripped over a tree root; he couldn't stop staring.
Merry figured it out before he did.
One day, Pippin was rambling about how “so-and-so is quite pretty, don’t you think?” and Merry just raised an eyebrow.
“You’re completely besotted, Pip.”
Pippin blinked.
“Oh.”
OH.
The confession happened one autumn evening, during a festival in Hobbiton.
Pippin had insisted you dance with him, spinning you around until you were both breathless with laughter.
At some point, he just… Stopped dancing, staring at you.
“I- erm- this is odd, isn’t it?” He murmured, rubbing the back of his neck.
“What is?” You asked, adjusting your glasses.
“That I think you’re the most wonderful person in all the Shire.”
You blinked, flustered, and before you could reply, he rushed on, “I mean- what I’m trying to say is- well, I think I love you.”
There was a beat of silence, then you grinned.
“That is odd, because I think I love you too.”
Pippin let out the biggest sigh of relief before immediately pulling you into the happiest, warmest hug imaginable.
Pippin would sing for you all the time.
Whether it was a sweet tune while you worked on a costume or a dramatic love ballad while standing on a table, he adored making you smile with his voice.
He was always reaching for your hand, just to swing it playfully or press quick kisses to your knuckles.
He started collecting little plushies and dolls he thought you’d like, leaving them in random places for you to find.
If you had a bad day, Pippin would absolutely show up at your door with flowers and a stolen pie.
Whenever your sensory issues became overwhelming, Pippin would sit with you quietly, offering soft fabrics or playing gentle music to help ground you.
If you needed space, he’d simply be nearby, making sure you weren’t alone.
He’d leave little notes like, “Your curls are extra lovely today. I checked.” or “I may have stolen a muffin for you. If anyone asks, it was Merry.”
Since you loved historical-inspired fashion, he insisted you make him an outfit too.
Seeing him beam in a carefully sewn vest you made?
Adorable.
Pippin helping you with sewing by holding the fabric in the most unhelpful ways possible (but looking proud of himself anyway).
Lazy mornings where he refuses to get out of bed, opting to wrap himself around you like an affectionate cat.
Surprise picnics where he dramatically declares his love for you while throwing flower petals in the air.
Cooking together, except he mostly just eats the ingredients while you scold him.
Him attempting to “help” organize your puppet collection, only to end up making them reenact ridiculous stories for you.
The two of you sitting outside in the evenings, listening to music and watching the sky shift into soft colors.
Being with Pippin is like living in a constant whirlwind of joy, music, and adventure.
He’d make you laugh every single day, but more than that, he’d make sure you always felt loved and understood.
He’d adore everything that makes you you, from your passionate interests to your quiet moments.
And in return, you’d give him the steady, unwavering love he never even knew he needed.
No one in Hobbiton had ever seen Pippin so smitten.
But if anyone asked, he’d just grin and say, “Well, of course! I found the best person in all the Shire.”

Five Nights At Freddy's;
Michael Schmidt -
Tumblr media
You moved into the house next door, and at first, Mike barely noticed.
He wasn’t exactly the most sociable guy, and between work and taking care of Abby, he kept to himself.
The first time you properly met was one evening when he saw you struggling to carry a box inside.
He hesitated for a moment, debating whether to help, before awkwardly asking, “Uh… Need a hand?”
You were caught off guard but nodded, and though Mike wasn’t exactly chatty, you could tell he was at least trying to be polite.
You found out quickly that he was quiet, guarded, but not unkind - and Abby, who had peeked out from behind him, was way more open and curious about you.
The ice really broke when you mentioned you liked puppets and costume-making.
Abby’s eyes lit up, and suddenly, Mike was being dragged into a conversation he had no idea how to contribute to.
“I think she’s found a new favorite person,” Mike muttered, watching as Abby bombarded you with questions.
Your bond with Mike built slowly but deeply.
He wasn’t good at opening up, but he liked listening to you talk - especially when you got passionate about things.
At first, he thought it was a little strange how much you loved puppetry, but after you explained the artistry behind it, he started to find it… Oddly fascinating.
Cue you making a small puppet for Abby - which she adored - and Mike just staring at it, obviously touched but unsure how to express it.
“You… Made this? For her?” His voice was softer than usual.
He started inviting you over more often - sometimes to watch Abby, sometimes just to sit on the couch and talk.
He got used to your loud, excitable moments and never found you annoying.
If anything, he admired how unfiltered and passionate you were.
It was refreshing compared to his own reserved nature.
On nights he struggled with sleep, he’d text you; “Are you up?”
And if you were, you’d sit outside on your porch, talking quietly from a distance.
Mike wasn’t used to people caring about him.
He thought of himself as a mess, someone who barely had his life together.
But you… You cared.
You listened to him.
You understood when he needed space, but you also knew when to gently nudge him out of his shell.
The first time he realized he had feelings for you was when you hand-sewed a little stuffed rabbit for Abby.
He was exhausted, having come home from work, and there you were, sitting cross-legged on the floor, letting Abby name her new plushie.
Mike just stood in the doorway, watching you with his little sister, and thought, 'I could love them'.
Of course, Mike being Mike, ignored his feelings for weeks, pushing them aside because he didn’t think he deserved anything good.
You were the one who noticed something was off first.
He got even quieter around you, avoided eye contact, and seemed like he was constantly caught between wanting to be near you and pulling away.
“Mike, did I… Do something wrong?”
That was the breaking point.
His head snapped up, and his expression immediately softened - like he hated that you’d even think that.
“No. No, you didn’t.” He ran a hand through his hair, sighed, and finally admitted, “I just- damn it. I like you.”
It wasn’t dramatic.
It wasn’t planned.
It was pure, raw honesty - the kind of thing Mike struggled to give, but with you, he wanted to try.
You blinked, processing it, and then just smiled. “Good. Because I like you too.”
Dating Mike was low-key but deeply meaningful.
He wasn’t the most verbally affectionate person, but he showed his love in small ways.
He’d bring you coffee in the mornings when he knew you had a long night writing.
He’d help adjust your sewing machine when it got stuck, even though he had no idea what he was doing.
He’d let you info dump about your favorite books or puppetry techniques, nodding along with a soft smile because he genuinely loved seeing you happy.
When you played music around him, he’d sometimes just lean against the wall and watch you - not saying anything, just enjoying the sound of your voice or the way you got lost in the rhythm.
He definitely steals your plushies.
You caught him napping with one once, and when you pointed it out, he grumbled, “It was just there, okay?”
Washing dishes together.
Falling asleep on the couch together.
Movie nights almost always end with you curled up against his side, his arm loosely around you.
Fixing things for you.
Your glasses get loose?
He’s grabbing a tiny screwdriver.
Something rips?
He’s holding the fabric while you sew it back together.
Leaving notes.
You started it first - just little things like “Drink water!” or “Don’t forget your keys!”
And one day, he left one for you: “Sleep well.”
Forehead kisses.
He’s not the type for dramatic PDA, but soft forehead kisses when you’re stressed?
Absolutely.
Shield you from overwhelming situations.
If you’re in a crowd and getting overstimulated, he subtly guides you away or puts a reassuring hand on your back.
He understands that sometimes, you just need silence.
He never pressures you to talk when you’re situationally mute.
Even if it’s just to ask better questions, he wants to understand the things that make you happy.
Make sure you feel safe.
He’s always subtly checking in-
“You okay?”
In a way that never feels suffocating, just… Caring.
Remind him that he’s worthy of love.
Encourage him to rest.
He’s always so tense, but you have a way of getting him to sit down and breathe.
Leave little gifts for Abby.
Whether it’s a tiny costume for her plushies or a new book, you show love through small, thoughtful things.
She always wanted a big sister.
Help him with his nightmares.
You don’t push him to talk, but when he wakes up shaking, you’re there to hold his hand and remind him that he’s not alone.
Your relationship with Mike isn’t loud or flashy, but it’s real.
It’s in the way he lets himself be vulnerable with you, the way you understand his silences and the way you both just fit.
He may not have believed he deserved love at first, but with you?
He finally, finally does.

can i make the world's most niche post for a second. idol is a taurus for sure. and indie is an aquarius. flowchart is probably a virgo but i could entertain arguments that he's a libra, too. scene is a pisces sun but she also probably has at least two other pisces placements in her big six (my bet's on rising and mars). country is a leo. metal is a sagittarius. nerdcore is a capricorn. jeff is an aries. rayna is possibly a scorpio but i could also see her as a gemini. i'm currently accepting theories for techno and dubstep but i'm thinking techno is an aries and dubstep is either a pisces or scorpio. like, he's probably a water sign but he's not a cancer he does not have cardinal energy.

OK it's variation of a little of everything kinda, but I go with 'an ecclectic mix'
Novelty songs like Bernard cribbins, nerdcore, folk bits, indie narrative space stuff, techno, rock n a bit of punk stuff, ect. Ect.
What your answer to "what music do you listen to?" means to me:
"Anything but country" >> solely music released in the last 20-30 years at most
"Anything but rap" >> I'm side-eyeing you. Are you Ben Shapiro?
"A little of everything" >> indie folk, some basic hip hop, and one or two artists from the 70s-80s
"How much time do you have?" >> someone who is really passionate about at least one band/genre, maybe more
"Lately I've been getting really into—" >> about to tell me the most obscure genre in the world

Submitter's Note: A note of context; whilst in America/Europe, Nerdcore is a term associated with Rap/Hip Hop with lyrics that reference "nerdy" interests, within Japanese indie/doujin music, it refers to a broad movement of independent music of varying electronica genres that often sampled, bootlegged, remixed, or was otherwise associated with some form of media. The term also predates its American/European use, dating back to at least the 90s. Some of the musicians featured on this compilation are veterans of the scene/movement, and have been producing songs since its rough inception.
