We are living in a moment of serious gender revanchism in the United States. Feminists who self-define as “gender critical” and are otherwise openly transphobic will object to the comparison, but it is striking how much the movement to criminalize gender-affirming care for young people shares with the movement to criminalize abortion. Both find their fiercest champions in white, religious, conservative men who dismiss the evidence put forward by medical professionals that the treatment in question saves lives. Both claim to speak on behalf of silenced “children,” be they conveniently unborn or too young to be taken at their word. Both struggled to find widespread support until a father took his crusade on the road: abortion was not “an Evangelical issue” before Dr. Francis Schaeffer, a charismatic pastor, promoted his son Frank’s 1979 anti-abortion film Whatever Happened to the Human Race?; and anti-trans legislation was initially “hard to sell,” according to the Texas Tribune, until a North Texas dad named Jeff Younger built a sympathetic following online by accusing his ex-wife, a pediatrician, of wanting to “chemically castrate” their trans daughter. Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s order that citizens report parents of transgender kids to the authorities so that they can be investigated for child abuse echoes the section in SB 8 that rewards vigilante citizens for reporting abortion providers to authorities. Both movements have become central to the Republican Party’s strategy to raise funds and win elections. Not least, both movements have forced pregnant and trans people to prove, in preordained terms, their absolute certainty that they need the treatment they say they do. As the opposition puts up resistance in the form of misinformation, mandatory waiting periods, sonograms, and extensive psychological testing, patients lose precious time as hormonal processes they hope to forestall come closer and closer to transforming their bodies.
The experience of gender dysphoria is not identical to the experience of forced pregnancy, but it should not have to be for us to defend one another’s right to bodily autonomy as if it were our own. To respond to the heartbreak of losing Roe by further scapegoating trans people, as some cisgender feminists have done, is not only an unnecessary cruelty but a logical and political error that none of us can afford to make. There is no evidence to support the claim that inclusive language in reproductive health spaces “erases” or “harms” cis women, as Pamela Paul recently argued in the New York Times. (If anything, terms like pregnant people are more precise, as not all women are capable of pregnancy and not all pregnant people — e.g., cisgender girls under 18 — are women.) To say so anyway, with no basis in fact, is to do the far right’s work for them.

Here lies the sister post to my resource list.
Under the cut, you'll find a list of regional, primarily queer-focused groups to donate to, if you have the means.
If you've ever accused us of being beyond help, or have ever said we should be sawed off into the ocean, here's your chance to help the many helpers trying to make the southeast a better place--those that always go conveniently ignored in such conversations.

self care based on your chart
I talked about the signs and houses connection to body parts and many of you requested this post. These are ways to do your self-care using your chart, the signs, and planetary placements and aspects. The same concept can be applied using simple self-love practices in other areas of life too.
✧ notes
I recommend you look at your transits chart or solar return as well to better know the best self-care practices at the time. You can base your general self-care on your natal chart but the transits can tell you the best times to take action or avoid taking action on something significant.
Look for the planets placements and their aspects, mainly if in the angular houses or make many significant aspects. Like I mentioned before I got so much dental work done when saturn was in the 10th, conjunct my mc and opposite north node, it was expensive but I was able to afford it.
You can also consider the degrees if you're feeling extra, in your natal chart and your solar return. Degrees can be associated with signs, so they can be simply linked to the areas they rule.
Planets rule things related to body parts like diseases or accidents and influence certain parts of the body depending on the aspects they make. Also two planets can influence the same body parts.
✧ SIGNS
Aries/1st house - head, face, brain, eyes
— Prone to headaches so get quality sleep, wash your hair often, and do wash your makeup, nothing heavy on the head. Exercise and workout in general helps release any pent-up energy or stress. Take good care of your eyes, sunglasses, eye drops, natural eye products/makeup. Keep your brain healthy. Foods and supplements that regulate your energy levels. Head massages, soft pillows, facemasks, frequent haircuts, breathing exercises, get enough brain oxygen. Fast thinkers and can have racing thoughts, so journaling, running, meditating can help. Release anger in healthy ways.
Taurus/2nd house - neck, ears, throat, thyroid
— The senses can be heightened so make sure your environment is comfortable, the temperature, the sounds, scents, fabrics, the food, arrange it like it's a visions board. Coffee, tea, warm soups, breads and oats, and warm herbal drinks that work for you. Can cling to that one thing they like, so do change your diet from time to time to get different nutrient. Renew your clothes, make your space cozy. Neck massages, aromatherapy, and body relaxation methods. Singing or writing, chill playlists, comfy places and peaceful walks. Cooking your own food can be therapeutic and healing for you.
Gemini/3rd house - arms, hands, lungs, shoulders
— Tend to be anxious and restless, since it also rules the nervous system and is ruled by mercury, so the mind is central. Can't stress it enough, but writing,  journaling, speaking just getting your thoughts out. Since the mind is always active, look for ways to release that mental energy. Cardio, pilates, fast sports, board games, socialising. Can have fast metabolism and lean long body parts so accustom your diet and exercise based on that. Massage your shoulders, read a book, and do stretch regularly. Honestly..  joke around, taking all those thoughts seriously is no good. DO YO NAILLS 💅
Cancer/4th house - chest, breast, stomach, womb
— Ruled by the moon, get a healthy outlet for your emotions, accept your emotions, write, speak up, cry when you need, watch something funny, your comfort show, make yourself laugh. Check your hormones regularly, find a good diet for stomach health, whole grains and high-fiber foods, take your digestive supplements. Do yoga, stomach exercises, breathing exercises. Drink lots of water. Choose your friends wisely, find people you trust. Make your bedroom comfy, invest in a quality bed, get yourself comfy clothes. Cooking your own food is again a self love thing to do, baking, homey places, nature and quiet places. Get you a furr baby.
Leo/5th house - heart, spine, spinal column, upper back
— Ruled by the sun, go out more and get your vitamin d. Choose heart-healthy foods, leafy greens and soluble fiber foods and supplements. Check your heart health and blood pressure. Do exercises that work for both your heart, your upper back and shoulders, aerobic exercises, fun sports and activities. You can be generous to everyone but be generous to yourself too, buy yourself gifts, spoil yourself. Do a full hair and skin routine, find a hobby, watch shows that inspire you, make your inner child happy. Embrace you emotions, your skills, pursue your passions, be expressive and go out for adventures.
Virgo/6th house - abdomen, digestive system, intestines, spleen
— Listen to your body and keep adjusting your diet and routine to fit your needs. Your body can be just as picky, so be mindful of the food you consume, of any allergies or foods that are hard to digest. Get your digestive supplements and enzymes, do your research. Choose gut-healthy foods and the best times to eat for you. Go for a nature walk, exercise to release any pent-up stress, cardio or pilates. Get indoors plants or plant them yourself. Spend time with pets. Make your own natural medicine that works for you, even if as simple as tea. Read a book, journal to organize your thoughts, keep your space clean. Reward yourself and acknowledge your efforts and progress.
Libra/7th house - kidneys, lower back, bladder, buttocks
— Find a way to maintain a balanced lifestyle that works for you. Add a variety of nutrients to your diet, foods for healthy kidneys to make that skin glow, antioxidant foods and supplements. Keep your kidneys and bladder healthy. Lower body and buttocks exercises, strength training, dancing, going out for walks. Decorate and beautify your own place, try new recipes, go for a picnic. How you feel is more important than how you look, make yourself feel pretty, do a skincare routine, create a vision board, romanticize your life. Be the person you want to love and identify your own opinions from those of others, yours matter.
Scorpio/8th house - genitals, colon, urethra, reproductive system
— With all those transformative energies, change what you consume to fulfill your changed needs, feeding your body and mind the proper nutrients. Maintain healthy reproductive organs and balanced hormones, do your check ups. Maintain healthy guts, fiber and antioxidant rich foods, high vitamin drinks, herbal medicine can be beneficial too. Lower body and muscle exercises, stretch regularly, breath and meditate to calm your mind. Invest in quality skincare and unscented hygiene products. Journal, write your reflections, your progress and goals, positive affirmations, light your great scented candles and watch a funny show.
Sagittarius/9th house - thighs, hips, liver, legs
— Go out and wander around, exploring new places, foods, and random things will light you up, you know it. Find a diet that works for your energy levels, protein rich foods and shakes, citrus and greens, simple nutritious meals. Watch out for any leg injuries. Go out for running, do leg exercises, muscle building, any outdoors sports. Write a bucket list, update your wishes list, go for mini solo adventures, speak to the locals when you travel, learn new words, find authentic travel souvenirs. Listen to a podcast or watch a documentary, keep a positive outlook on your future, positive environment and self-talk.
Capricorn/10th house - bones, joints, knees, skin, hair
— Can get caught up in doing or not doing things, so allow yourself to both be active and rest when you need. Find foods and supplements that are good for bone strength and joint health, calcium and magnesium rich foods, going out and getting your vitamin d is good for both your skin and bones. Going for morning runs, muscle building workouts, chiropractic-approved exercises and stretches, any leg sports. Invest in skincare and dental care. Write down things like goals, tasks list, and self development notes. Watch things that motivate you and light you up, acknowledge how far you’ve come.
Aquarius/11th house - ankles, calfs, achilles, circulatory system
— Can be very future focused, so do protect your hopes and find an outlet to express them but enjoy the present as it is. Add water-rich foods to your diet, foods that help the blood flow like fatty fish, avocados and other circulation boosters or supplements. Exercises that improve circulation like jogging, cycling, cardio, dancing, swimming. Find ways to express your ideas of the world and fantasies, music can put you in that creative energy, meditation, talking to a friend. Take a long bath, light some candles, write down your ideas, your hopes and dreams, your thoughts and what you're grateful for.
Pisces/12th house - feet, toes, pineal gland, lymphatic system
— Can also be spacey and future focused so any self expression activities can help that energy flow. Choose foods that help maintain your body fluid balance, water-rich foods, leafy veggies, omega 3 rich foods, and supplements that boost lymphatic drainage. Avoid foods that drain your lymphatic system. Find hobbies that light you up, listen to music, paint, be creative. Nature walks, swimming, cardio, cycling, dancing. Taking frequent baths and soaking your feet in soap and epsom salt water can release stress from the feet area, grounding activities, reflecting, journaling and writing down your hopes and thoughts.
✧ PLANETS

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
July 23, 2024
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
JUL 24, 2024
Vice President Kamala Harris continues her momentum toward the 2024 presidential election since President Joe Biden’s surprise announcement on Sunday that he would not accept the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination.
Today more than 350 national security leaders endorsed Harris for president, noting that if elected president, “she would enter that office with more significant national security experience than the four Presidents prior to President Biden.” As vice president, she “has met with more than 150 world leaders and traveled to 21 countries,” the authors wrote, and they called out her work across the globe from her work strengthening partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region to her historic trip to Africa and her efforts to expand U.S. relationships with nations in the Caribbean and North Central America. In contrast to Harris, the letter said, “Trump is a threat to America’s national security.”
Those signing the letter included former Central Intelligence Agency director Michael Hayden, former director of national intelligence James Clapper, national security advisors Susan Rice and Thomas Donilon, former secretaries of defense Chuck Hagel and Leon Panetta, and former secretaries of state Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
In a New York Times op-ed today, former secretary of state Clinton praised Biden for his “decision to end his campaign,” which she called “as pure an act of patriotism as I have seen in my lifetime.” She went on to say that Vice President Harris “represents a fresh start for American politics,” offering a vision of an America with its best days ahead of it and, rather than “old grievances,” “new solutions.”
Clinton noted that her own political campaigns had seen her burned in effigy, but said, “It is a trap to believe that progress is impossible” and that Americans cannot overcome sexism and racism. After all, she pointed out, voters elected Black American Barack Obama in 2008, and she herself won the popular vote in 2016. “[A]bortion bans and attacks on democracy are galvanizing women voters like never before,” Clinton wrote, and “[w]ith Ms. Harris at the top of the ticket leading the way, this movement may become an unstoppable wave.”
Today, Harris held her first campaign rally, speaking to supporters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the Republicans held their national convention just last week. The energy from the 3000 people packed into the gym where she walked out to Beyoncé’s song “Freedom” was palpable.
She began by thanking Biden and touting his record, then turned to noting that in her past as a prosecutor, California attorney general, U.S. senator from California, and vice president, she “took on perpetrators of all kinds—predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain. So,” she said, “hear me when I say: I know Donald Trump’s type.” She went on to remind the audience that Trump ran a for-profit college that scammed students, was found liable for committing sexual abuse, and “was just found guilty of fraud on 34 counts.”
While Trump is relying on “billionaires and big corporations,” she said, “we are running a people-powered campaign” and “will be a people-first presidency.” The Democrats, she said, “believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by but to get ahead; a future where no child has to grow up in poverty; where every worker has the freedom to join a union; where every person has affordable health care, affordable childcare, and paid family leave. We believe in a future where every senior can retire with dignity.”
“[A]ll of this is to say,” she continued, “Building up the middle class will be a defining goal of my presidency. Because…when our middle class is strong, America is strong.”
In contrast, she said, Trump wants to take the country backward. She warned that he and his Project 2025 will “weaken the middle class,” cutting Social Security and Medicare and giving “tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations,” while “working families foot the bill.” “They intend to end the Affordable Care Act,” she said, “and take us back…to a time when insurance companies had the power to deny people with preexisting conditions…. Remember what that was like? Children with asthma, women who survived breast cancer, grandparents with diabetes. America has tried these failed economic policies before, but we are not going back. We’re not going back.”
“[O]urs is a fight for the future,” she said “And it is a fight for freedom…. Generations of Americans before us led the fight for freedom.  And now…the baton is in our hands.”
Meanwhile, MAGA Republicans are still scrambling for a plan of attack against Harris. One of their first angles has been the sexism and racism Clinton predicted, calling her “a DEI hire.” House Republican leaders have told fellow lawmakers to dial back the sexist and racist attacks.
MAGA Republican representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) has taken a different angle: he introduced an impeachment resolution against Harris, while others are demanding that the House should investigate Harris and demand the Cabinet remove President Biden under the 25th Amendment. The Republican National Committee has decided to make fun of Harris’s laugh.
But concern in the Trump camp showed today when Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio shared with reporters a “confidential memorandum” trying to get ahead of polls he says will show Harris leading Trump. He said he expects to see a “Harris Honeymoon” that will end quickly.
Trump has continued to post angrily on his social media feed but is otherwise sticking close to home. His lack of visibility highlights that the Republicans are now on the receiving end of the same age and coherence concerns they had used against Biden, and there might be more attention paid to Trump’s lapses now that Biden has stepped aside. CNN’s Kate Sullivan noted today, for example, that “Trump said he’d consider Jamie Dimon for Treasury secretary, but now says he doesn’t know who said that.”
As Tim Alberta noted Sunday in The Atlantic, the Trump campaign tapped J.D. Vance in an attempt to harden the Republican base, only to find now that he cannot bring to the ticket any of the new supporters they suddenly need.
According to Harry Enten of CNN, Vance is the first vice presidential pick since 1980 who has entered the race with a negative favorability rating: in his case, –6 points. Since 2000, the usual average is +19 points. Vance won his Senate seat in 2022 by +6 points in an election Republican governor Mike DeWine won by +25 points. Vance “was the worst performing Republican candidate in 2022 up and down the ballot in the state of Ohio,” Enten said. “The J.D. Vance pick makes no sense from a statistical polling perspective.”
Sarah Longwell of The Bulwark, who specializes in focus groups, noted that swing voters groups “simply do not like” Vance. “Both his flip flopping on Trump and his extreme abortion position are what breaks through,” she wrote.
The 2024 election is not consuming all of the political oxygen, even in this astonishing week. Today, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that eight large companies must turn over information about the data they collect about consumers, product sales, and how the surveillance the companies used affected consumer prices.
“Firms that harvest Americans’ personal data can put people’s privacy at risk. Now firms could be exploiting this vast trove of personal information to charge people higher prices,” FTC chair Lina M. Khan said. “Americans deserve to know whether businesses are using detailed consumer data to deploy surveillance pricing, and the FTC’s inquiry will shed light on this shadowy ecosystem of pricing middlemen.”
The eight companies are: Mastercard, Revionics, Bloomreach, JPMorgan Chase, Task Software, PROS, Accenture, and McKinsey & Co.
In the House, Republicans have been unable to pass the appropriations bills necessary to fund the 2025 U.S. budget, laced as they are with culture-wars poison pills the extremists demand. Today House members debated the appropriations bill for the Interior Department and the Environment which, among other things, bans the use of funds “to promote or advance critical race theory” or to require Covid-19 masks or vaccine mandates.
According to the European climate service Copernicus, last Sunday was the hottest day in recorded history. The MAGA Republicans’ appropriations bill for Interior and the Environment calls for more oil drilling, fewer regulations on pollutants, no new regulations on vehicles, rejecting Biden’s climate change executive orders, and reducing the funding for the Environmental Protection Agency by 20%.

Tumblr media
This week, we have sickfics! Check under the cut for 8 fics that depict Caleb and Essek while ill and unwell, and the care and angst that come with that; and don't forget to comment and kudos if you like them!
Of Broken Plans and Places to Be by ThreeGremlinsInATrenchcoat (8856, Teen) Reccer's Content Notes: No Content Notes
Essek contracts a mysterious illness in Aeor. Caleb worries, and gets intense about it.
Reccer says: Care shown when someone falls ill is one of my weaknesses, and this is a great fic for displaying all of Caleb's conflicting emotions.
Tumblr media
in sickness and in health by viciousmollymaukery (1219, General) Reccer's Content Notes: No Content Notes
Essek gets a cold. Caleb takes care of him
Reccer says: I liked it!
Tumblr media
The Mind and The Malady by SaltCore (38941, Teen) Reccer's Content Notes: No Content Notes
Essek comes down with Hanahaki disease, and tries to hide it from the Nein
Reccer says: I'm a sucker for the Hanahaki trope but I love how Essek tries to compentalise what he's going through with his notes. The reveal is just amazing and the hurt and comfort are both amazing.
Tumblr media
reaching the starlight by CherryMilkshake, eldritchmochi (86552, Explicit) Reccer's Content Notes: Discussion of bulemia, mental illness
AKA the Camming AU. Caleb and Essek have separate camming streams, and decide to team up for the views. Then it gets complicated.
Reccer says: There's a lot of depth in the fic outside of the sickness portion of it - a lot of hot porn, a lot of great exploration of complicated feelings, but also the sickness portion unfolds in a slightly different (but very satisfying) way than usual
Tumblr media
Overheated by oswinpond (2856, Teen) Reccer's Content Notes: Choose Not to Warn
Essek (and Caleb) suffer the effects of too much time in the sun
Reccer says: Hypothermia is more used in fandom, but this is a great whump fic with heatstroke as the illness
Tumblr media
i can feel it taking hold (now i am a chemical) by atlasarcana (23739, Explicit) Reccer's Content Notes: Graphic Depictions of Violence, Dubcon/Consensual Non Consent, Elements of horror (think: monster chase scene); the ethics of helping your SO through sex rabies
Essek contracts a sickness from a drow poison that makes him go feral and lethal unless he "sweats out" the toxin with sex. This is partly a sex pollen fic, partly a sick fic; both heavily inform the central conflict.
Reccer says: I like how high the stakes are, making it just as angsty and scary as it is heartwarming and a demonstration of devotion and trust. Note that it's the third of a series with an overarching plot.
Tumblr media
the hole in the stone by MinnesotaBruja (13243, Teen) Reccer's Content Notes: animal/pet death
Shortly post-Cognouza, Essek takes a position as a lighthouse keeper on a remote island north of Eiselcross. These are his letters to Caleb.
Reccer 1 says: It's absolutely beautifully written, with a lot of loneliness and aches and angst before it gets better Reccer 2 says: The formatting is so interesting, and the illness and comfort depiction is just the best
Tumblr media
Prompt #13 - kissing someone's forehead by ariadne-mouse (917, General) Reccer's Content Notes: No Content Notes
Caleb catches a cold while the M9 are traveling and Essek fusses over him, not being familiar with human illnesses.
Reccer says: I liked it!

Living in London, I feel like a lot of incidents are isolated attacks that you dont hear about as opposed to organised riots. Whilst there have been some riots in the more conservative areas (like Walthamstow and Chingford) and more towards Central, in East London especially, I've experienced and heard of isolated anti-immigrant/muslim 'attacks' where it's one or two people that are perpetrators.
East London is the MOST multicultural place you'll find, but my dad's car was kicked in by some white guys literally two days ago. Thank God he was already in the car and was able to drive off, but I've found that it's mostly incidents like these.
In Whitechapel, which is literally full to the brim with Muslims, a young girls hijab was ripped off a month or two ago. Whilst I don't live in Whitechapel, me and my mum have been called nasty names to the point where my mum didn't feel like it was safe wearing her face veil anymore. Islamic private schools have been subjected to attacks as well and generally havent been perceived well, but this is nothing new. It's been happening for years, but you don't really hear about them because it's isolated incidents. I only know because I've been in those spaces and environments and have experienced it personally.
Loads of my friends don't feel like it's safe to go out being women because of the new wave of anti-muslim/poc sentiment and people mainly targeting women. Again, whilst this is nothing new from my experience of being born and raised in London, the anti-muslim/immigrant sentiment has only grown, and certain individuals are feeling braver because of the nationwide riots.
But there's a sense of community in London because of its multiculturalism that other places up North and around the UK don't have. Where you have some people committing hate crimes, you have others that are staunchly outspoken against it and that are really supportive, which I'm forever grateful for. My neighbours are absolutely wonderful, and I know that I'm completely safe with them, I know that if anything was to happen, I'd have people supporting me.
Its weird though because London is one of those places where you'll find there are extremely wealthy areas right next to some of the most destitute places, driving through Bow Road/Mile End Road/Whitechapel Road to Aldgate is a perfect example of that, you can see where it immediately changes and switches up. Same with Hackney and Shoreditch, you walk for 5-10 minutes, and it's like you've entered a whole new realm, likewise with Canary Wharf. It's kind of dystopian, tbh and literally, all the new buildings being built are high-rise 2/3 bedroom flats that obviously aren't for families.
It's like the with the new architecture too is trying to push families out. Alongside the serious underfunding of government facilities like public libraries and gyms. Over the past couple of years, dozens of libraries across have been closed, and public gyms have been sold off to private organisations. Youth facilities are horrendous, too. I've gone completely off on a tangent here, and I do apologise. But I just think it's so crazy that London has some of the poorest areas in the whole UK with poverty being at 25% I think (correct me if I'm wrong) just after the North and West Midlands which is around 28%.
I really shouldn't complain because I know in London we are so fortunate to have such an interconnected train/tube system and that our health care and schools are much more funded than those outside of London. But with more business and wealthier people coming in, the costs in London are increasing so much more disproportionately to wages.
My mum works in the NHS, and what the government did is before increasing the London living wage, they increased the NHS staff wages by 5%, compared to the London living wage by 10%. The NHS HCAS didn't increase, however, and stayed the same. On top of that, NHS staff are subjected to higher national insurances. I think it's just ridiculous. Anyways, I apologise for the long and rambling ask, and I totally lost focus. I hope you have an amazing day, and there's no pressure to answer this whatsoever <33
Nothing further to add here, as I'm not that familiar with London - call it a northerner's suspicion - but will definitely provide further insight to people less familiar with the UK.

IHello! Thank you for bearing with me,😭🇵🇸 🍉I am Mohammed, a Palestinian from North Gaza, my life is miserable and horrific, my left hand was injured and I need a bone transplant, my house was completely destroyed, and the family consists of 13 people, most of them are young children, Amir and Malak, infants. My family has nothing left but hope that you can support and help us with. After ten months of war, we are exhausted, desperate and displaced. We have lost our homes and livelihoods and gone with the wind. Things are driving us crazy. The minimum standard of living is unattainable. Clean water and food have become a dream that we must achieve. What makes our lives worse is the continuous bombing and killing. That is why I am asking in this post for your help to survive these unbearable conditions, and to move from hell to safety and peace. Your support can help us be safe and alive, so my friends, you can support us either by donating directly what you can or by sharing my campaign links so that generous people can know about our tragedy and pain. Remember that your small contribution can make a big difference in the lives of many children whose health deteriorates day by day. Let their lives change and let them feel happy through your generous contribution. My campaign was documented by @90-ghost 🙏🍉

[ 📹 The moment an "Israeli" airstrike targeted a civilian residence near the Kuwait Hospital in the city of Rafah, in the south of Gaza, resulting in a fire that engulfed the residential building.]
🇮🇱⚔️🇵🇸 🚀🏘️💥🚑 🚨
ZIONIST AIRSTRIKES TARGET CIVILIAN HOMES IN RAFAH ON DAY 173 OF "ISRAEL'S" ONGOING WAR OF GENOCIDE
On the 173rd day of "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 8 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of no less than 76 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounding another 102 others over the previous 24-hours.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, “Many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads and rescuers can’t reach them."
The Zionist occupation army also purposely blocks ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching targeted sites, preventing victims from reaching hospital care in time to treat their injuries.
Meanwhile, occupation airstrikes accelerated across the entirety of the Gaza Strip, from Beit Hanoun in the north to Rafah in the South, with violent shelling everywhere in between.
Zionist air forces bombed a civilian residence belonging to the Dhair family in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 11 civilians, with a number of others wounded in the strike.
Simultaneously, IOF warplanes targeted several residential homes without major casualties, bombing the homes of the Al-Hamaida family in Al-Shaboura, three civilian residences in the Yabna Camp in central Rafah, and yet another civilian home in the vicinity of the border with Egypt.
Occupation fighter jets also launched several firebelts on various areas of Khan Yunis, in south-central Gaza, with local civil defense crews recovering the bodies of 12 Palestinians killed in Zionist strikes.
The Israeli occupation army also announced the assassination of Morwan Issa, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Al-Qassam Brigades, belonging to the Hamas resistance movement, along with several deputies, after an IOF raid on the Nuseirat Refugee Camp two weeks ago. Al-Qassam has yet to confirm the death of the Issa, considered one of the most prominent leaders of the resistance group.
In another occupation airstrike, IOF warplanes bombarded a residential home belonging to the Al-Hamayda family, in the city of Rafah, resulting in several casualties.
In yet another atrocity against the starving families of Gaza, Zionist Merkava tanks opened machine gun fire on a group of hungry Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid near the Al-Kuwaiti roundabout, at the intersection of Street 10 and Salah al-Din Street in Gaza City, critically injuring at least two civilians.
Similarly, at least one civilian was murdered and a number of others wounded after Zionist occupation warplanes bombed a group of starving civilians waiting for humanitarian aid, east of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Zionist occupation army also stormed today the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, in south-central Gaza, kidnapping medical staff and arrested displaced civilians sheltering in the hospital. Occupation soldiers also forced the evacuation of some civilians sheltering in the medical complex.
Meanwhile, Zionist forces dropped bombs on a gathering of Palestinian civilians in the vicinity of Al-Mintar commercial crossing, also known as the "Karni" crossing, east of Gaza City, in the north of the Gaza Strip, martyring several civilians and wounding a number of others.
IOF fighter jets also bombarded a residential home in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of the Old City of Gaza, slaughtering two civilians and wounding several others.
A number of casualties were also reported as a result of an occupation airstrike targeting a civilian home near Al-Sousi Mosque, located in the Al-Shati Refugee Camp, northwest of Gaza City.
Elsewhere, Zionist artillery forces continue shelling al-Amal City, west of the Nuseirat Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, martyring one Palestinian and wounding others.
Occupation aircraft similarly bombed residential structures in the Al-Maghazi Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinians.
The IOF also committed yet another horrific atrocity and slaughter of Palestinian civilians after bombing a residential building belonging to the Abu Hasira family, behind Al-Shifa Hospital, in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, martyring the entire family, with at least 30 killed in the massacre.
Occupation fighter jets also bombarded a residential building in the Jabalia Refugee Camp, in the north of Gaza, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others.
As a result of "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the endlessly rising death toll has now exceeded 32'490 Palestinians martyred, over 25'000 of which being women and children according to the United States Pentagon, while another 74'889 civilians have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression beginning on October 7th, 2023.

A central element of a degrowth society is therefore that the material metabolism with nature, and therefore also economic production in different societies, is aligned with a long-term, ecologically sustainable, and globally generalisable level. Degrowth, in this sense, aims to replace the imperial mode of living with a solidarity-based one, to overcome the externalization society, and to foster sustainable lifestyles that end overconsumption by the affluent (which is environmentally unsustainable) and the poverty and need of the dispossessed (which is socially unsustainable). Degrowth has been criticized that it focuses on consumption and renunciation and its demands are thus directed against the working class in the Global North, who need more rather than less. However, this critique misses what degrowth is about. Degrowth explicitly aims at improving the living conditions for everyone – including those in the Global North who struggle to get along, who have to juggle three jobs to afford rent and cannot pay for health care. Degrowth, however, claims that this can be achieved without increasing overall economic output (which would be unsustainable and globally unjust) by tackling inequalities and guaranteeing public abundance. Indeed, degrowth is about challenging the very system in which working class well-being depends on accumulation – and shows how this can be changed. It’s not a politics of less, but a politics of enough for all.

Labyrinth Park, Grande Cache (No. 5)
Banff and Jasper are the main communities in the region. The length is defined by the Icefields Parkway, and it is crossed by the Trans-Canada Highway and the Yellowhead Highway into British Columbia. David Thompson Highway leads from the Rockies into central Alberta from Saskatchewan River Crossing, and Banff Windermere Parkway leads from Castle Junction (south of Lake Louise) through the Kootenay National Park to the Columbia River valley. The Bighorn Highway defines most of the eastern limit of the region.
Health care has been the responsibility of Alberta Health Services, since the province's health regions were amalgamated in 2008. Before then, Calgary Health Region was the health region ensuring well-being in the south of this region, while the north was supervised by the Aspen Regional Health Authority.

Watch: Security Perimeter At DNC Breached By Protesters
"Protesters link arms as police approach..."
The Democratic National Convention is in full swing. Reports from local media outlets and journalists on the ground reveal that protesters breached the first layer of the security perimeter on the north side of the United Center, just hours before President Biden's scheduled speech this evening. Here's more color on the security incident from Fox 32 Chicago: Protesters broke through a portion of the security fence on West Washington Boulevard. Chicago cops could be seen running to confront the demonstrators. There was a brief standoff between the police and protesters. Officers donned riot gear as they faced off with the large crowd. Arrests were also made. A woman was seen being led away in handcuffs, while a man was carried away by several officers. After about 20 minutes, tensions calmed down and police could be seen reconstructing the broken fence. All protesters were moved out of the secured area.
Vasectomies in High Demand at DNC as Planned Parenthood Offers Free Snips, Abortions.
Planned Parenthood is offering free abortions and vasectomies at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), with The New York Times saying so many Democrat men want to be sterilized that “there is already a waiting list.”
The procedures are being offered at a mobile health center just a few blocks from the convention venue in Chicago, Illinois. “There are going to be people traveling to Chicago from all over the country, and I think we should be doing what we can as health care providers to show what the impact of good policy and bad policy is,” said Dr. Colleen McNicholas, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, of the initiative.
BREAKING: A House GOP report claims that Joe Biden committed impeachable offenses while in office and that the Biden family received $27 million from foreign individuals and entities
Report: Biden Administration Rushes Digital ID Plans
The Biden administration is working to expedite widespread adoption of digital IDs, including driver’s licenses, a draft executive order indicates.
Digital IDs are a contentious concept primarily because of the concentration of – eventually – the entirety of people’s sensitive private information in centralized databases controlled by the government, and on people’s phones, “client-side.” That in turn brings up the issues of technical security, but also privacy, and the potential for dystopian-style mass surveillance. Proponents, on the other hand, like to focus on the “convenience” that such a shift from physical to digital personal documents is promised to bring. In the US, some states have started this process via digital driver’s licenses, and the executive order is urging (“strongly encouraging”) both federal and state authorities to accelerate this, as well as other types of digital ID.

...Israeli military attacks across the besieged enclave have continued. At least 65 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in 24 hours, says the Palestinian Ministry of Health.  According to Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum, several people were killed on Wednesday evening after a home was bombarded without any prior warning. There have been dozens of casualties transported to al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah. More attacks have occurred in the central area of Gaza. A residential building was hit in Deir el-Balah, with ambulances rushing to the site to rescue those injured and trapped under the rubble, he continued. Meanwhile, in northern Gaza, the bombing has not stopped, with some describing the situation as the hardest since the beginning of the land incursion, Abu Azzoum added, citing eyewitnesses.  “There is no end in sight to the Israeli operation inside al-Shifa Hospital. Israeli troops have completely encircled the facility, preventing anyone from getting out. Hundreds of people, including patients, remain inside. Battles around the hospital continue,” he concluded.  Amid the ongoing attacks, Palestinians in Gaza are still being actively starved by Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid, endangering people’s lives further.  Warning about the dire situation of pregnant women, new mothers, and children in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing bombardment by Israeli forces, the U.N. Population Fund says, “People in Gaza are starving and famine is imminent in the north,”
“Pregnant women and new mothers face a constant struggle to keep themselves and their newborns alive,” the organization continued on X.  Famine is imminent for Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip and is projected to affect adults and children between now and May, according to a World Bank food security report. “The situation in the Gaza Strip has reached catastrophic levels,” it warned. Approximately half of the Gaza Strip’s population are in Phase 5 of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) Food Insecurity Scale, known as the “Catastrophe Phase” of extreme food shortages and inability to meet basic needs. The report states that virtually all households skip meals daily and that a significant portion of children under two suffer from acute malnutrition. It recommends “restoring humanitarian access, curbing hostilities, and ensuring the safe delivery of aid to the population in need.” The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) added that there is not enough access to safe water and medical care in the coastal enclave, adding that more than 1.6 million people reside in Rafah. “Some families receive a can of food every other day for the whole family,” the group posted on X.
