Yay! I'm honestly so happy that people have enjoyed the ear infection fic! I was worried I took too long to finish it and that people weren't going to care anymore. Instead, everyone has been so extremely kind and complimentary and I really appreciate it, it makes my heart so happy. I'm also extremely flattered that you like my characterization of Fictional!Matty- he's a very multilayered guy and I'm so happy that my version resonates with you. (And that you want to cuddle him- I think with all that I've put him through he could use a good cuddle. My favorite line in the Ear Infection fic was "Take your fucking shoes off and hold me." Because, well, Matty really needed that at that point haha)

You might be onto something with the dentist thing 🤔 I too am very afraid of the dentist, to the point where when I chipped my tooth as a child they decided to just leave it because it wasn't worth the trauma of trying to fix it (the two years I had braces might have been the actual worst two years of my life) 😂 However, I miraculously have never had a cavity, and therefore am unsure if I can do that miserable experience justice. I'm going to make note of this idea though and we will see what ends up happening 👀 I don't want to make any promises but we might / will hopefully be visiting infection-verse!fictional!Matty again in the future!
