The next morning, everyone headed off to work and school independently.

Stephen was the first home and he wanted to see Charlie again so invited him over for a date while no one else was around.

Charlie agreed, of course, and they were very cute slow dancing together in front of the stereo.

Soon they were sucking face, taking the opportunity to do so before Stephen's parents got back.

However, soon enough, Hob'rth did get home and he was promoted to Lieutenant! Congratulations Hob!

think im a bit off because ive given myself a break from constant studying for the past 2 days. makes me a bit nervous, a bit light-chested and warm. i have a 15 page final paper due on the 21st. i created the outline, and have abt 264 hrs to complete.

📽️ Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004)

I LOVE Josh Duhamel! Seriously, give me a movie with Josh Duhamel and I will pretty much watch it without question. He was definitely the best part of this movie. I really enjoyed the whole thing, though. I enjoy movies where nothing bad actually happens to make the girl choose one guy over the other; she just realizes which one is better for her. All of the actors are good, even though the script is a little corny and the storyline is a little worn-out. I would watch this again.

Sex/nudity: 2/10 (some kissing and sexual references)

Language: 1/10 (mild)

Violence: 1/10 (threats but no actual violence)

I love books, I love literature, and I love this blog, but it's only been recently that I've really been given the option to explore disabled literature, and I hate that. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be able to read about characters like me, and now as an adult, all I want is to be able to read a book that takes us seriously.

Round 7 - Summer 2 (Part 2) - The Neetor Family

ROS rolled up a stock market crash for the Neetors this round, after their lottery win last time - typical! Thankfully, they only lose 19% of their funds. They also have to join the Gardening Club so that'll be fun - new NPCs! On we go!

Bethany started the round by paying their taxes and noticed the stock market crash immediately. They had lost a few thousand Simoleons but still had enough to pay their taxes so it was manageable.

She had previously decided that teaching everyone all at once was a bit overwhelming so was still rotating who came to school when. Today was the kids' day at school so she left Stephen chilling in front of the TV and scooped Octavia up to walk with her to the school.

When everybody arrived, Bethany spent some time greeting all the children. There were some new faces in her class this week but she made sure to welcome the old hands too.

assuming this is in a canon-ish/canon-adjacent setting. i think mary would be a big poetry girly she'd fuck w plath & glück & césaire...also think she'd be into romantic fantasies like goldman's princess bride & dianna wynne jones' howl's moving castle...beagle's last unicorn as well perhaps...

don't think marlene would be big into reading but i do think lily would put her onto some sci-fi she'd enjoy--vonnegut, joanna russ, charlotte perkins gilman...i imagine her as a sci-fi fan as well but less into reading more into like. star wars & alien movies. same w james i don't imagine him as a big reader but i do think lily would find some sci-fi he'd enjoy...maybe more of like the philip k. dick lane than the vonnegut/russ lane tho. i think he might like some leguin as well; i imagine he'd be one of those people who really just wants to read a book that feels like a movie, nothing too dense or slow-moving.

dorcas i imagine favoring a writing style that's a bit more brutal & dry...maybe some flannery o'connor, steinbeck, faulkner, etc...could also see her being big into like agatha christia murder mysteries. maybe some shirley jackson as well. emmeline would be into atwood i think...in my mind she'd also fuck hard w stone butch blues & would be reading lorde & butler (judith, not octavia) in the 90s. pandora would be into the weird gory shit she'd be reading like jack ketchum...probably stephen king & angela carter as well. maybe some more classic horror like poe & stoker's dracula, etc. also think she'd get really into octavia butler.
