If you suddenly had all the skills and resources needed for making any type of game about your ocs, what kind of game would you make? And about which oc(s)?
So, you guys are probably wondering what the mostly is about. Simply put, there’s a subroute in the final part that I still need to write. Not very long, it won’t be too big of a deal later on, but this scene was blocking me hard. After working on it for 2 months straight I just wanted to move on. Needless to say, if I had to write one more set of variations for how the PC fights the suspect, I was going to go insane. That being said, it is all mostly there. There’s simply one greyed out option is all. I’m going to come revisit this scene when it’s more fresh to me again and when I don’t have to push myself so damn hard and force myself to write it. Along with the final part, I’ll probably be adding a bit more variation to it in general. But, now that that’s out of the way, let me get to the patch notes!
Patch Notes:
Added most of the rest of Chapter 4, which includes another Text Box Investigation Scene!
Added an unlockable extra story of Ryder’s PoV before the after funeral scene.
Multiple gender variable mistakes have been fixed.
Fixed a mistake where Alvarez and Ryder were being referred to as ‘mommy’.
Added a small dialogue variation to Ryder’s train scene where, if you’ve already talked to Alvarez, the PC won’t ask Ryder to clarify details about Alvarez’s age.
Added a small dialogue variation to the talk with Hawks in Dennis’ Office where, if the PC didn’t answer the phone for their brother in Chapter 2, it will reflect that choice.
Fixed the error on my part where the hoplite in the painting in Hawks’ office was being referred to as ‘Roman’ instead of ‘Greek’.
Fixed a bug where, if you chose to talk to Lance first on the train, it wouldn’t give you the option to talk to a second person.

Well everyone, you asked for it and now it’s here! I present the next update with the Coroner’s office, where you deduce, from the latest victim, quite a bit about the case. There have also been some add-on’s which I will outline down below. I apologize the update took so long, but it was a mix of irl stuff and the fact that adding some of this stuff is a lot of editing, adding variations of dialogue, etc. I had to figure out the best way to make what you all wanted happen, and I’m happy to say I think I finally did that.
That being said, please inform me of any inconsistencies or errors as per usual. I appreciate all the feedback, and for seemingly the first time since the start of the book, starting next chapter, the MCT is going to converge to continue the investigation as a single unit rather than separate teams! Thank you all again so much for your patience, and I hope you enjoy.
Added the Coroner’s Office scene
Changed the Train Ride scene in Chapter 2 so you now talk to two of the MCT agents instead of just one.
Made the option for what you were studying before joining the Bureau more obvious in Chapter 1. (Future plans for this are to have more optional dialogue choices and flavor text based on it, as is the case with the Coroner scene.)

Very dependable and responsible. Passionate, and has a clear zest for life. Hard on herself, but maybe a bit too easy on others. Humble, and knows she has a lot to learn about the world. Tries to be a guide for her younger friends.

A bit on the curvy side, average height.
Haven allows the player to increase their stats. This ability is called “Believe”.
Her eventual "message" is "Trust your gut."
SIDE CHARACTER A -> FENNEC
Girl!
18 years old.
Energetic, fiesty, driven! A bit naive, but also unexpectedly wise.
Elwyn’s older sister by three years.
Explicitly intellectually disabled.
Very tall and lithe.
A dancer.
Fennec allows your team to always go first. This ability is called “Leap”.
Her eventual message is "Intelligence comes in many forms!"
SIDE CHARACTER B -> ELWYN
Girl!
15 years old.
Fennec’s younger sister by three years.
Glass child who holds no resentment for her sister. Harsh on the strong, kind to the weak.
A gamer.
Somewhat short, a bit round.
Elwyn allows an instant defeat for every ten kills. This ability is called “Spot Weakness”.
Her eventual message is "Sometimes, retaliation/revenge is a necessary thing."
SIDE CHARACTER C -> AJ
Girl!
17 years old.
Quiet, and seems shy at first, but she has a sassy side that she doesn't let most people see.
A bit taller than average, plus-size.
A runner.
AJ allows the player to run away from battle. This ability is called “Flee”.
Her eventual message is "Sometimes you need to run away from your problems in order to regroup and come back to them stronger."
SIDE CHARACTER D -> HUGO
Boy.
18 years old.
A bit of a know-it-all, hugely ambitious with a constant strive to "win" everything he does.
A spelling bee/trivia competition champion.
A bit short, but quite muscular.
Hugo allows the player to decrease enemies’ stats. This ability is called “Psych Out”.
His eventual message is "Ambition and competitive drive aren't always bad."
SIDE CHARACTER E -> WALKER
Boy.
16 years old.
Very kind and gentle, always tries to see the good in a situation, positive and uplifting towards everyone he meets. The mom friend, despite being a boy.
Has a small business where he sews clothes for dolls. He also has an extensive doll collection, especially infatuated with rag dolls.
Very small and skinny.
Walker allows the player to spare in battle. This ability is called “Charity”.
His eventual message is "Moral perfection isn't possible."
