Danny Phantom 2099 (Earth-928)

I've thought this same thing repeatedly, my headcanon is that there are actually a council of Clockworks, maybe with slightly different names or appearances, that help each other out to save as many Dannys as they can across the multiple realities and timeliness, through all the cracks and supplies and time branches. They work to help free each other from observants when necessary. This is of coarse, part off a greater Phantomverse.

Whenever I’m reading a Danny phantom fic I have this habit of stepping back from it and thinking

Maybe, right now, this is another of the many many timelines. Maybe everything I’ve read and everything I will read is just a potential reality, a branch, a future that Clockwork (the reader-viewer-me) is seeing.

I’ve done this for AUs, crossovers, and other various one shots and prompts. Every story pulls the same thought from me—what if this isn’t the true story of Danny’s life but some innocuous timeline that only Clockwork will ever see.

But you took off!” Phantom relaxed when Dream dispersed his weapons then Phantom did the same. “Sorry, Ink, things were happening and-” “I KNOW THINGS WERE HAPPENING! THAT’S WHY WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BUDDIES!” Dream put up his hands with a shaky laugh as Ink stepped closer and held his scarf towards Dream’s face as one of his eyes turned to a red diamond while the other turned into an orange exclamation point. Dream passed a glance towards Phantom who simply watched the confrontation as it began. “You see this ink!? This yellow ink! You wrote this! This is your rule! We all agreed to it and we even wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget but the first time Nightmare show’s himself you take off! I am so telling Cross! You’re grounded!”

@artemismoorea03 and I started a new fic. we've been nonstop writing it for days now and the first two chapters are officially out!

Even if I do add DC stuff into the Crossover, that does not mean that anything from To Bee A Bat will be canon re: Bruce being Chloé's dad. I already have a bio dad set up for her in HC/LL and having a Crossover Dad would complicate things a little much for how I have set up the Crossover.

Miraculous Multiverse: Premise

Hi and welcome to Miraculous Multiverse!

In this AU heroes from all over the multiverse will have to team up in order to stop a mysterious user of the Butterfly miraculous that’s threatening multiple universes with his army of Akumas.

Except that things aren’t as simple as they might seem and there might be a stronger force acting behind the scene that wants to achieve their own goals…

Anyway, these are the universes involved in this AU. I might add more of them in the future, but these are the starting ones. I will also post more infos about them in the future, both of the characters and the universe, and possibly some short fics.

Universes

Mothworld: aka the base of operation of the main villain. A pocket universe inhabited by the main villain and their two henchmen, the Dolls.

Movieverse: aka the one from the movie. Yes, not the tv show one (don’t worry they still exist but won’t be involved in this AU). The events of this AU happens after the event of the movie, so they defeated Hawk Moth, recovered his miraculous and discovered each other’s identity. They’ve been assisting the police in fighting crime but other than things have been mostly peaceful.

Switched Movieverse: aka the one where Adrien and Marinette swap Miraculous. Nothing else changes.

Butterflyverse: aka the one where Marinette has the Butterfly Miraculous. In this universe Marinette saved Chloe from being ran over by a car and now she’s on a wheelchair. She later got the Butterfly Miraculous and used its powers to become Lady Mariposa and fight the evil Arlecchino, recover the miraculous she stole and find out what happen to the heroes that used to defend Paris years ago. To help her in her fight she can count on the help of her friends Nino, Alya, Chloe, Nathaniel and Kagami and that of the mysterious Zodiac Master, the teenage guardian of the Chinese Zodiac Miraculous set.

Akumaverse: (from a prompt by @natedogx15) aka the one where Paris is an Akuma infested hellhole. Basically Nooroo, in an attempt to escape from Gabriel before the start of the series, used his powers and accidentally akumatized half of Paris. Master Fu was one of the akumatized victims and, fearing what his Akuma would do with the Miraculous, told the Kwamis to run away and hide. By accident Chloe found the Cat Miraculous, Luka the Ladybug Miraculous and now the two of them reluctantly began to work together to stop the Akumas led by Princess Justice and her knight Ephemeral and Hawk Moth. Fortunately for them, they managed to find some allies to help them… who unfortunately are Chloe’s yes man, a pathological liar, an emotionless killer and her happy-go-lucky emotional support dog boy (who have a very mysterious past and may or may not scheming against them).

Vigilanteverse: (from another prompt by @natedogx15) aka the one with vigilantes. In this universe Ladybug and Chat Noir’s presence inspired others to try to become heroes and fight against crime. Eventually a group of vigilantes known as the Heroes of Paris composed by the Owl, the Empress, Detective Noire, Anansi and the High Priest of Ra managed to prove their worth by successfully fighting and winning against Akumas. This inspired others to become vigilantes, but also led to the rise of an increasing number of supervillains, most notably the Cult of Hawk Moth, a cult that worships the eponymous supervillain and assists him and his Akumas. This, amongst other reasons, is what caused numerous tensions amongst Team Miraculous and the Heroes of Paris, tensions that are increasingly close to a breaking point…

Phantomverse: aka the (apparently) normal one. In this universe there are (apparently) no Miraculous and everyone is (apparently) a normal person. Some of the differences include Felix and Adrien being twins, Lila came to Paris one year earlier and became Marinette’s best friend and Zoe is named Melody. Strangely enough, this universe was isolated from the others, almost like it was quarantined…

So I listened to Love Never Dies, and...

It's bad fanfiction with some good music and acting. I found out it was partially based on Frederick Forsyth's Phantom of Manhattan, so I decided to read that and see how he handled the post-ALW Phantomverse.

The answer is... not well. I don't know anything about his other work, but it seems like he wrote a rough draft and submitted it to a vanity publisher and called it good.

The thing is, there's a lot of potential in that book that could've been developed into something interesting if he'd just bothered to write more than one draft of the thing, and I've been playing with the idea of "fixing" it.

What I'm wondering, though, is whether that's something that would even interest anyone. Thoughts?

was going to rewatch phantom of the paradise today and got sidetracked but anyway it got me thinking about how swan is such an Interesting character to me .

he is awful. like….. the fucking worst.

he’s manipulative he’s a liar he uses people he’s deceitful; swan is everything you don’t want to be. but at the same time he’s successful and he has money and women and he’s (essentially) THEE music industry in the phantomverse(??) aka he is everything you want to be.

he also has this charm to him in a sort of “fucked up little asshole” way and he’s super smug in the fact that he KNOWS he’s amazing and that everyone wants to be him that makes you want to be WITH him (i think thats just me i love awful little blonde men with big egos that i can stroke) but idk he is such an interesting character to think about In My Opinion. anyways!!!!!!!
