Just a reminder for people who may not know, in light of protestors at UCLA being shot in the face with rubber bullets— rubber bullets are not bullets made of rubber. They are metal bullets encased in rubber.
Despite being called “non-lethal” or sometimes “less lethal”, they are well known to cause death and permanent disability.
Here’s a photo showing their size— these are actual rubber bullets used during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
Do not let them downplay the severity of what they are subjecting this students to for standing against genocide. Stay safe and stay educated.
EDIT: Twitter banned @/nosferatusexgod, the student shot, whose tweet I linked to (as a primary source) at the top of the post. Screenshots of the tweet I originally linked to can be found here.
This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."
“You simply cannot fit more America into a single incident than a man dying a horrifying death in protest of war crimes while a first responder screams at cops to stop pointing their guns at him and go get fire extinguishers. If you were to pick a single moment in history to sum up the essence and expression of the US empire, that would be it.”

Scott Hayes has been a fixture of zionist counterprotests all over Massachusetts. He is known for habitual doxing, harassment, making violent threats on and off social media, and flashing his gun at anti-genocide activists. A number already have orders of protection against him. He was recently involved in the doxing of a Brookline teacher, resulting in her getting many death threats.
During a zionist standout in Newton on September 13, he shot Caleb Gannon, a Jewish pro-Palestine resident after Gannon ran across a street and tackled Hayes, enraged by their taunts and hateful rhetoric. Hayes shot him in the stomach as they fought on the ground, and two of Hayes’ friends continued to stomp on Gannon’s neck and chest after he was shot.
Hayes’ GoFundMe has not yet been taken down despite it being against their terms of service to raise funds for the legal defense of a violent crime (rule 8.10).
The pro-Palestine activists of Massachusetts would be grateful if you could join us in reporting this fundraiser to GFM for this violation. He should not be allowed to profit off terrorizing anti-genocide activists.

Here’s the link to report it to GFM for violating Terms of Service:
And here’s suggestions on how to fill out the report:
*Note - the victim wasn’t a minor as the person who filled out the above form was told - this was before they were publicly identified.
When the rest of the world looks at the united states right now, we see a government who sends billions to support genocide but cannot help their own people starving on the streets.
We see a police force who won't go in to save children from school shootings, but deploy at a rapid rate to arrest peaceful protestors using their right to free speech to protest a genocide
America, you are a war mongering snake eating your own tail. You will protect and support war criminals in another country but let your own people starve and die
To the students bravely protesting now, we see your strength. We see what we saw when students protested the Vietnam War. We have faith you will prevail
Hundreds of Jewish anti-war demonstrators have been arrested during a Passover seder that doubled as a protest in New York, as they shut down a major thoroughfare to pray for a ceasefire and urge the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, to end US military aid to Israel.
The 300 or so arrests took place on Tuesday night at Grand Army Plaza, on the doorstep of Schumer’s Brooklyn residence, where thousands of mostly Jewish New Yorkers gathered for the seder, a ritual that marked the second night of the holiday celebrated as a festival of freedom by Jews worldwide.
The seder came just before the US Senate resoundingly passed a military package that includes $26bn for Israel.
