[THE WORLD OF GKZ]
The very world where the characters live!
GKZ has a history similar to ours, and the year is 2070! Home is not just for humans but also for whimsical, weird creatures that coexist with humanity.
Here's a population of these wacked species! Some don't have their own race sheet as of yet but soon
And finally, the power system that these people use
[SOUL ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM]
Oh yeah, feel free to make a fan character from my concepts! Just let me know if you plan to do so and feel free to ask some questions about it!

Can you guys actually believe it?
This month marks an entire year since I started my fanfic series, "X-Men: The Next Mutation"!
It's been a wild ride doing this series!
And I couldn't be more thankful for all of you who read it sticking with me through eight action-packed episodes!
You've seen the mutant teens face against an unstoppable foe from the past, a ravenous race of aliens, an animal-morphing hunter, a disgraced geneticist, a crazed religious zealot, and a fun-loving madman.
And there's certainly more to come!
So in honor of my series officially turning 1-year old, I wanted to share with you all the story of Next Mutation.
How i came up with the idea, my reasons for a lot of the choices made in this series, my ideal vision if it was an actual animated series, and even plans for the future of the series!
So sit back, grab a snack, and follow me as I take you all on a journey into the making of X-Men: The Next Mutation!
The Premise, The Team, Tone and Style:
The concept for X-Men: The Next Mutation dated all the way back to 2023.
I initially worked on the series in order to commemorate the 60th anniversary of The X-Men.
When coming up with the concept, my biggest inspiration was Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Which saw the titular heroes getting special new powers and becoming the most powerful we've seen them before.
I've always been fascinated by what that series did and I wanted to see something similar to that done with other famous fictional characters.
And among those characters were The X-Men.
And how would they become more powerful?
SECONDARY MUTATIONS!
And so, I decided to have Secondary Mutations, in stark contrast to the comics, be FAR more common among mutants.
Another aspect about this version of The X-Men was to have them in a world where mutants were far more socially accepted.
Not only because I felt that it would allow for the focus on the new powers to truly flourish, but also because let's be real, I think we're all starting to get burned out by seeing The X-Men being hated by all humanity and on the verge of extinction for the umpteenth time.
And after coming up with those aspects, I immediately came up with my roster.
This version of The X-Men would've consisted Cyclops, Jean Grey (who would be going under an actual codename: Psyche), Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat and Lockheed, Rogue, Iceman, Beast, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Angel, Thunderbird, Sunfire, Emma Frost, Psylocke, Banshee, and Xavier.
And I had already had their Secondary Mutations in mind.
And so, with all my basics down, I realized something....
youtube
I wasn't able to come up with any stories or episode ideas.
So I decided to scrap the project.
But with the impending release of X-Men '97, it gave me the encouragement to do my own X-Men series.
So I decided to revive the project, but with some changes.
I decided to scale down the roster, only keeping Cyclops, Psyche, Beast, Storm, Angel, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Iceman, Wolverine, Shadowcat, Lockheed and Xavier.
I wanted the starting roster to be a mix between the First Class and Giant-Sized cast.
I also decided to age down the cast as well.
They were originally gonna be around the same ages as in the comics.
But I aged them down to be teenagers and young adults instead.
And this ties into the main reason why I couldn’t think of any episodes for the original version.
The X-Men were already gonna have their Secondary Mutations from the start of the series.
And I felt that wasn't a good idea, as it would essentially make the series feel pointless.
So I figured it would be best to focus on The X-Men getting their new Mutations and seeing them gradually get use to them.
Hence why I made them so young.
As for the depictions of the X-Men themselves, there are two members I specifically want to highlight: Angel and Xavier.
Angel because in contrast to the comics, adaptations and even most fanfictions......he's a female here.
This was heavily inspired by the artist oni18064, who in his Marvel AU, had made Angel a female by the name of Wren Worthington.

I found the concept rather intriguing and I'd decided to adapt the idea into my series.
I had this idea in mind even for the original version of Next Mutation.
As for Xavier, I kinda wanted to help him out.
I've already gone on record about this, but it does bare repeating.
The comics have not been kind to this man for the last 20 years.
Constantly revealing tons of shady and terrible things he's done.
Going so far as to RETCON them during major events in The X-Men's early years!

I get that Xavier is not suppose to be perfect, but this movement of just tearing him down and revealing that he's a horrible person has become OVERKILL!
And having The X-Men (or anyone as a matter of fact) gradually wanting nothing to do with him anymore.
And they're still doing it to this day!

I swear to God.
90% of the horrible things that happened (or have happened) to The X-Men, Xavier is usually somehow involved in it.
And this has done so much damage how many people view him.
So many fans tend to view Xavier in an incredibly negative light and see him as a let's be real, the fucking Anti-Christ!
And I don't know why the comics became so obsessed with making Xavier into the true villain of this entire series!
But from what I've heard, this can largely be blamed on the original Ultimate Universe.
Where everyone was literally the worst versions of themselves.

Xavier in The Ultimate Universe was incredibly manipulative and was clearly shown to use his powers to get what he wants.
Also, he had the hots for Jean.
Apparently the reason why he's like that is because the Ultimate Universe had the basis of taking the negative traits that many of these characters briefly had and just made that their entire personality.
And Xavier did display a few moments of manipulation and having an interest in Jean in the past.
So they basically made that his entire personality.
Though I must ask why they decided to bring that over from the Ultimate Universe?
If they did that, why didn't they bring any of this as well?

(P.S.: Firestar in that panel is about 15 years old)
So for this series, I wanted to......not do that.
I wanted show while he may not be perfect, Xavier is a genuinely good person.
Along with that, I wanted to fix many of the major criticisms levied against him
In the comics, it's been shown that Xavier has used his powers to manipulate and tamper with the minds of others, specifically the original five.
Here, while not shown yet, The X-Men all joined Xavier by their own free will.
I really want his relationship with The X-Men, especially Cyclops, to feel much more genuine.
Not only being someone they can truly look up to and look to during their tough times, but also being someone that is truly their friend.
Another major complaint is that he never really helps out, using sitting on the sidelines while his band of child soldiers basically risk their lives for his goal.
So I decided to make him a more active player in The X-Men's adventures!
This aspect was heavily inspired by, of all characters, Joe Swanson from Family Guy!
Before he became a total joke, Joe was portrayed as not only a very competent cop, but also a surprisingly tough fighter, in spite of the fact he was stuck in wheelchair.
And So, I decided to have Xavier's fighting style being a mix between his psionic powers and his combat prowess.
Remember, the guy is canonically an Army veteran.
One thing to note about this version of Xavier is his ideology.
It's essentially the same as Cyclops' in the comics.
He believes that while mutants and humans can peacefully co-exist, but he knows that not all of them are willing to.
And that mutants should be allowed to have rights and defend themselves from prejudice.
One last thing to note about Xavier is his racial background.
In contrast to most other iteration, Xavier is of mixed heritage.
With his father being Caucasian, and his mother being African-American.
This was heavily inspired by lot a recent fan interpretations of the characters.

Which themselves were inspired by the popular fan casting of Giancarlo Esposito as Xavier.

So I decided to adapt that aspect into my fanfic and made Giancarlo the voice of the character.
Sidenote: I'm actually kinda surprised that none of readers have made any Breaking Bad jokes yet.....
Speaking of voices, when casting The X-Men, I already had who I wanted in mind.
And the choices I had were already recurring VAs for the characters.
Scott Porter as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Danielle Nicolet as Storm, Liam O'Brien as Nightcrawler, Chris Cox as Colossus, and of course, Steve Blum as Wolverine.
But for the others, this where things get interesting.
For Angel, I already had Grey Griffin in mind for her.
Same goes for Dee Bradley Baker as Lockheed.
As for the other three X-Men.....
I choose Jason Marsden for Iceman, as I felt that he would make for a pretty solid new voice for the character.
Plus, he's actually voiced Iceman before!
That being in the video game, X-Men Destiny.

It was admittedly a little tough to find a voice for a younger Beast.
But in the end, I settled on Yuri Lowenthal.
The reason why is actually an Easter Egg.
One of Yuri's most famous roles is of course, Ben Tennyson.

And several times in the series, we've met future versions of Ben, going by the alias Ben 10,000.
And the in the original series, Ben 10,000 was voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who's basically been the penultimate voice for Beast since Wolverine and the X-Men.
So basically, Fred is gonna be how Beast will sound like when he gets older.
But the hardest character for me to find a voice for was Shadowcat.
Since I wanted to give her a new VA.
But it was so damn hard.
So much so that I even considered giving her one of the prior VAs like Danielle Judovits or Kath Soucie.
But in the end, I settled on Jennie Kwan, who you'll know best as Chun Li in Street Fighter 6 and Suki in Avatar: The Last Airbender.
For the team's outfits, I used the exact same ones done by TheScarletMercenary.

I wanted to give the team for this first season matching uniforms.
And essentially, these outfits are like a modernized version of the original, First Class outfits.

The only exception with this is Wolverine, who's wearing the same outfit also done by TheScarletMercenary.
Which itself is pretty much a modified version of his classic outfit.

For the tone and style of this series, I wanted it to be a callback to a lot of the teen-focused action shows a lot us grew up with.
Teen Titans, Alpha Teens on Machines, Ben 10, Totally Spies, Danny Phantom, and even X-Men Evolution.
With a lot of action, a lot of adventure, a lot of comedy, and most importantly, a lot of heart.
One thing to note is how this series isn't really as heavy with the themes like most other X-Men series.
That's because I kinda wanted to avoid that.
Sort of....
I know how important they are to the identity of the brand, but I've always kinda had the fear that The X-Men could only be used as just for allegory and commentary and.......literally nothing else.
But even then, those themes are still there, just little more low-key.
In episode 3, "The Beast Within", we get to see Beast's childhood and the struggles he faced due to his animalistic appearance.
And in episode 5, "Flight of The Thunderbird: Part 2", we find out how Edwin Martynec's experiment had turned the residents of Camp Verde into anthropomorphic animals.
Another thing to note is how you hardly see The X-Men in their uniforms.
Like, they've only been in the damn things for two episodes.
This essentially ties into the more slice-of-life approach to this series.
Given that's something we hardly see from The X-Men nowadays.
Hell, in the little downtime they get, they're always usually still in their uniforms.
It reminds you that in spite of their extraordinary powers, they're still just normal people with their own hobbies, dreams and interests.
But real talk though, this might be the X-Men fanfic version of Regular Show.
Like, we usually start off with these guys doing normal, everyday stuff and then BAM!
They suddenly find themselves thrusted into a world of insanity with whatever villain of the week they're facing.
Though they haven't reached this level yet.....
youtube
One major aspect of this series is its world building.
Particularly when it comes to Mutations.
I already mentioned how Secondary Mutations in this world are far more common.
But I also gave the Mutations their own system.
As stated in the series, Mutations are divided into six classes.
Energy: The mutants in this class possess the ability to manipulate some form of energy.
Mental: The mutants in this class possess various psychic capabilities.
Feral: The mutants in this class have Mutations that involve the transformation into or the obtaining of physical traits of members of the animal kingdom.
Elemental: The mutants in this class possess some kind of manipulation over the forces of nature.
Molecular: The mutants in this class have the ability to manipulate and alter their own bodies in some way.
Hybrid: The mutants in this class possess a set of Mutations that don't exactly fit into one specific class.
This system, along with the Mutations having actual names, was inspired by the Quirk system from My Hero Academia.

I also wanted to fix a major issue that's been plaguing X-Men stories for a long time....
Being that they've kinda made mutants a lot less interesting.
One thing that was cool about them was that not all of them were connected to The X-Men and many of them were doing their own thing in other parts of the world.
But with everything that's happened to them, they've unfortunately been reduced to being huddled and grouped together.
So for this series, I wanted The X-Men to have allies who while mutants, are usually off doing their own thing.
Like with Thunderbird, who's based down in Arizona.
And lastly, I want to talk about what this series would be like it if was animated.
The character designs would be Jeff Matsuda, who's famous for his work in comics and animation, especially the latter!
He did the character designs for Jackie Chan Adventures.....

The Batman....

And TMNT.

And he already has experience with The X-Men thanks to their comics.

As for the animation, it would be done by Flying Bark Studios, the animation studios behind Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Glitch Techs and LEGO Monkie Kid.
Like, you’re telling me you wouldn’t want a X-Men series animated like this?
youtube
Well that was part 1!
Part 2 will be going into detail on the X-Men’s Secondary Mutations and the inspirations for them, their supporting cast, and even their villains!
So stay tuned!
But until then, let me know what you guys think about this behind the scenes feature.
Also, let me know what you guys think makes my fanfic work in general.

My favorite power system comes from Infamous and I’m shocked more people haven’t caught onto it. Conduits are named as such because everyone with a power uses something that can be channeled and taken. Examples:
Cole fires electricity but he doesn’t just generate electricity, he takes it from electrical equipment and in a storm he can absorb Lightning and call it down like he was Zeus.
Another named Joseph Bertrand can twist and control flesh including the people around him. Often turning them into mutant monsters and would turn himself into a giant monster
Lucy Koa has ice powers and does this by absorbing heat from the air. Because of this her arms are always slightly iced over because the air around her is always cold just like with Cole he has a constant surge of energy in him that water can be dangerous to him and others and he once tried to sit in a car only for him to accidentally cook off the fuel tank.
You get the idea. The concept of getting god like power siphoned from a specific source is fascinating to me and creates fun limitations because it has to work within what that is. Theirs no limits to this because some are incredibly specific like an assassin who has power over paper. This doesn’t sound impressive until you see you disappear into a cloud of papers and float away on the wind, fold paper so many times it functions as bullet proof armor and control paper with such precision that she can kill people in a cloud of paper with precise paper cuts. Theirs also a kid who can control Video which doesn’t sound impressive until you see him teleport through TV Screens and create Hard Light holograms to create an army of angels to command. His go to move when in a fight is to encase himself in hard light to turn into a giant Angel with a building size sword.
Conduits when experienced enough are practically gods. I love specific and highly restrictive power systems because you have to be clever in order to make them work.

I know it's silly but I really do like making power systems for the ranger AUs.
From Arctic Thunder and "Souls," the Ninja Storm AU and Re:Ninja Steel with "Ki." Idk, it's fun to experiment with how the abilities and powers work in each world...now if I can just write for the stories ☠️

Bloody Bug Kwami Factory Reset - New Concepts, Powers, and More
Alright, with the reset chapter 68 of Bloody Bug, there has been a major change with the kwamis. I will still detail it in the story, however I will also put it here as a reference to fall back onto for those that like this stuff when it comes to my AUs (looks over at the Holder Powers master list). Alright, let's crack into this.
The Reset:
For those that haven't caught up, or haven't read it but are just here, the kwamis were reset to their original states when they were created by the Mage. It was discovered the Order had put limitations on the kwamis because they believed them too dangerous to leave as is and changed them. However, with the help of Tikki, Adrien, and Kagami, the kwamis have been returned to that state. With this comes some other big changes.
What was Lost:
The protections and limitations the Order of Guardians had created are gone. This means the following:
There is no safeguard to protect a holder's identity
There are no safeguards to keep a holder from using their powers as many times as they want, much like Shadybug and Claw Noir. However, unlike them, the holder isn't damaged, but like in Paradise AU, they lose lifeforce. It grows from seconds, to minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and finally years. This can be offset by the tier system that remains in place.
Kwamis are no longer subservient to humanity. They cannot be ordered to do anything, cannot be commanded so easily, and can straight up refuse to comply.
Kwamis can choose their own holders, for better or worse. In some cases, a kwami can override a person's consent and take them as their holder regardless, leading to its own consequences. They aren't bound to the holder either and may leave whenever they please.
The kwamis now embody their original concepts or the full range of their concepts. As such, many of their personalities and other aspects will be far different from canon.
Bad things don't happen when kwamis use their powers without holders.
What was Gained:
With the kwamis returned and fully embodying their concepts, the tiers of holders have been expanded with their new abilities. However, as it was stated, the higher up they are in these tiers, the less human the holders become and the harder it is for them to exist without kwamis, and for the kwamis to let them go. This was seen a little with Mayura and how inhuman she was, but will be driven home soon.
Kwamis have gained the ability to shapeshift, be it into their animals or humans. How they look as either is purely cosmetic to them. Their memories and experiences have been returned, including the ones that had belong to Velze. They are once again able to speak freely of him.
Now, the tiers reworked with the changes:
Tier 1: Baseline Holder. These are the very basic, very human of the holders. They still don't retain any special abilities and can only use their one power about once before they start drawing on their own lifeforce.
Tier 2: Enlightened Holder. These are the holders capable of 2-4 kwami unifications. They also gain another power, another use of their powers (2 max), and have a couple of passive abilities related to their kwami's animal.
Tier 3: Awakened Holder. These are the holders capable of amalgamation unifications/Velze unifications/5 kwami unifications. They also gain a couple of passives related to their kwami's concept along with another power, plus two more charges (making it up to 4 charges total). This is when holders have their strength, speed, and agility boosted in and out of transformations.
Tier 4: Mythic Holder. These are the holders that are capable of fusing with kwamis, allowing them access to primal forms. They gain a pair of passives related to both animal and concept. And gain another boost to strength, speed, and agility in and out of transformations.
Tier 5: Ascended Holders. These are the holders that are more kwami than human. They experience a small fraction of human needs such as hunger and sleep (Ie they get hungry about once a day, and need only sleep for 4 hours max). Their powers and charges are maxed out at 6 and they no longer need to speak to use their powers. They are deadly to holders lower than them with their attributes maxed out, in and out of transformations, making them closer to demigods. Paled in comparison to only one tier.
Tier 6: Mantle. The final and deadliest of tiers. No elixir exists to elevate a holder to this state. A holder must have a perfect bond with a kwami, then ingest the kwami. If they survive the process, they become the kwami, giving them access to all powers, near unlimited uses, disease immunity, can transform at will, and shapeshifting. However, the holder becomes their kwami's personality, relationships, and more (ie Duusu's Mantle becoming more emotional and sensitive, Tikki and Plagg's Mantles taking on their more romantic bond, etc). In addition, if there are other Mantles, they are able to fuse with other kwamis or Mantles. The only death for a Mantle is another Mantle, old age, or overusing powers.
Now the biggest of them...
Holders, their powers and weapons:
Let's get this started. You'll get the activation phrase, powers (listed by tiers), tools/weapon, and whatever else I may forget to mention. I will also only be doing the holders that have made it to this point. Sorry to Badb, Porcelet, Fennec, and Bomb Bee.

I really like those analytical moments in battle scenes where a character has their internal monologue wherein they state a definitive rule of the magic/power system that cannot be broken or circumvented under any circumstances and then from that point of logic deduces that the enemy has to be using some kind of strategy or trick within the bounds of the power/magic system's logic, because the alternative is actually impossible.

Boy do I love designing new power systems
But how the fuck am I suppose to design truly conceptual outer gods, the only one I have fully fleshed out is chaos, and the next one I'm working on is parasite

After having my Pinterest recommended blast me with fantasy AU MHA content nonstop, it's given me ideas about the world...
1st of all; power system: each and every individual is born with a creature tied to them which has a unique connection to the user of it. We'll call these "TETHERS"
2nd of all; additional tether features to enhance the unique connection between human and creature:
Kats having a dragon that emits glycerin (?), and him having a mutation (not like tokoyami and shoji) that lets him propult ignition from his hands to light explosions.
Enji having a king-Kong sized flame-gorilla that emits carbon dioxide and water vapor, and enji having a mutation that allows him to emit nitrogen, shown by him having small flames on his body.
Best jeanist having a spider tether that emits threads from it's body, and him being able to coordinate them with his finger tips.
3rd of all; 80% of the population is gifted with all these unique tethers, of course varying in overall strength. Meanwhile the other 20% has to make due like us in the real world: not having powers.
4th of all: the more powerful individuals with tethers usually turn to hero work, where, essentially, you take up heroic quests, missions, patrols etc. they are also allowed to form party's (agency's).
There is a school (this universe's UA) that aims to cultivate children's tethers to create heroes.
5th of all: there are certain parts of the world of which have wildly different bio environments from eachother, think of the world of the manga by ONE: versus; it doesn't have the ALT universe aspect, but there are hundreds of worlds that are all unique in their own way, like an entire "world" that is dedicated to preserving all forms of literary information like a...supermassive library. Or a "world" dedicated to magic casting (that would be the technology of this world, with like, Melissa, her dad, hatsume etc)
6th of all: roaming within the shadows of these "worlds", are evils that pray on innocent's, either for greed, maliciousness, or psychopathy.
There was once an ancient evil that had all the 100+ worlds within a chokehold, a demon lord that stole the power's of tethers, essentially killing them, and reconstructing the humans that had a bond with them into mindless creatures.
7th of all: to combat this, over a century of dictatorship under this ancient evil, it's brother stepped to stop him. A fairly weak tether holder, but standing up none the less. His tether ability was; a small rabbit that was capable of stockpiling strength over time, meanwhile his mutation gave him the ability to pass it on to those he cares about deeply. He teamed up with a party that was rebelling against the ancient evil, and fell in love with one of the leaders. He was a red haired sharp eyed man scar across the face, with a snake tether that could slow down objects, meanwhile he had the mutation that speeds said objects up.
These are currently the ideas that I have for the world building of the fantasy AU, very fun stuff I think. The reaaaal fun actually comes in with the characters themselves and how they impact the "worlds". I feel like I cooked a decent meal here, right? Man, world building is fun ASF!!! I need to do sketches of these consepts, honestly. Mmh fun.

Stuff to know about: Sparks!!
Sparks are the "Magic system" of Earth
The history of Sparks
For as far back in Earth's history as we can look, there have been Sparks. Little pieces of pure energy and power. Anything could be born with a Spark, which would normally lie dormant inside them until an event properly traumatic or intense enough for the spark to ignite. Giving the Sparked individual some sort of ability or power.
The Science of Sparks
While various plants and animals throughout Earth's natural history (and even some aliens but we'll get back to that) have been shown to have Sparks ignited, there is no creature in the cosmos that its as common as humans.
While any other given species has about a 0.05% chance of even having a Spark, Humans have a whopping 10% chance of being born with a Spark. These numbers, of course don't account for the likelihood that someone would have an event dangerous enough to ignite the Spark inside them, and also survive said event.
Sparks are as small as an electron when unignited, they produce a near imperceptible amount of light, only science's most advanced microscopes can even see the light they produce. Once ignited the Spark will grow to a size noticeable by normal classroom microscopes and their glow intensifies 20 fold.
If a Sparked individual (with it ignited or not) dies with their the Spark keeps glowing and radiating power until it is acted upon by anything other than the original Spark holder. at which point it is permanently rendered inert and cannot be repowered in any way.
A potential alien with a Spark can only have that spark ignited on Earth. Aliens with Sparks are more rare, there have only ever been a few recorded cases of it even happening.

Shonen fighting anime where there's implied to be a detailed and consistent power system that the author is trying to show off, but the resident Heroic Dumbass protagonist just relies on instinct and doesn't care at all about how it works, so anyone who tries to explain things to him (and by extension the audience) he cuts off at the first opportunity, and when he's finally forced to sit through some exposition it's only shown from his point of view as literally just "blah blah blah magic magic blah blah blah."
Naturally, the Cool Rival takes great pride in how cleverly he uses his power, and the Main Villain keeps the true nature of his power secret and thrives on his enemies' fear of the unknown, and both of them are deeply frustrated by how little the hero cares.

What if I reworked the Miraculous Powers Part 2: Zodiac Boogaloo
(Part one here)
Unlike the Yinyang/Wu Xing miraculous, the big problem woth the Zodiac miraculous is that some of them are waaay overtuned while the rest are situational. So my solution is to make all of them situational! The Pig miraculous has an amazing power, fight me. Because most of these miraculous fit the idea I have for them, Ill only focus on the ones that need a change.
Mouse miraculous of Multiplication
Multitude: Stays exactly the same, I love this superpower!
Ox miraculous of Determination
Resistance: I previously changed the Ladybug miraculous so it can counter every other miraculous, which makes this miraculous kind of redundant... but I can't think of a better power, so I guess it stays?
Tiger miraculous of Elation
Clout: The user roars with exhilarating energy, forcing the target(s) of their choosing to focus on them. (Who's bright idea was it to make this thing a Black Cat knock off? At least the Goat miraculous is used differently than the Ladybug, but the Tiger and Cat have the same job of destroying stuff!) (So Juleka's whole character arc is that she wants to come out of her shell and she wanst her dad to see her so, maybe invisibility isn't a good power for her miraculous fandom:/ Anyway, the new power is just a video game taunt, forcing enemies to hyperfocus on Juleka. You can even give her some rockstar style roars to tie that into her identity)
Rabbit miraculous of Evolution
Rabbit Hole: The user rewinds their pocket watch a set number of times to travel back in time for 5 minutes. During the 5 minutes, the user can change events in the past which is guaranteed to change events in the present. The user can also choose to go back to their time period during the 5 minutes, and if they don't they will become stuck in the past because this power cannot travel to the future outside of resetting itself during it's 5 minutes. (That paragraph up there is the only way I knew to nerf this dang thing because I couldn't think of a new rabbit based power that dosen't step on another miraculous toes. WTF. Where do I even begin. Why is the shows Rabbit miraculous so incredibly different from every other power??? Why does it get its own Doctor Who room? Why does it not have a time limit and NO I do not accept that nonsense, timey whimy answer! Just why time travel in general???? I just, oof. Anyway, the rabbit miraculous is now used the same way Marinette used it during the season 4 finale, we need to do one thing in the past to save the future and then we go back to our time. Doing anything else is going to cause a paradox)
Dragon miraculous of Perfection(the name needs to be changed but I can't think of one that relates to the weather powers)
Wind/Water/Lightning Dragon: Sigh, ok this miraculous is what I mean when I say overturned. You can change into an element, you can control an element, and you can do it 3 times in a row??? No, the Dragon miraculous power let's you control one of three elements and then it goes on cool down. No using 3 powers in a row unless you're mature.
Snake miraculous of Intuition
Future Vision: it's literally a rip off of Garnet's power from SU. The user winds up their snake bracelet to play out different future scenarios in their head. These scenarios are life like to the user, but are not actually happening. (I like the idea that this miraculous seems like it's a psychic power when it's actually time travel, but time travel is waaay overpowered for a zodiac miraculous. Clairvoyance it is then)
Horse miraculous of Transportation
Voyage: The power gets you to your destination because it's a horse, get it? It's super lame, but I'll take it (at least this miraculous requires intelligence to use effectively, which matches its holder's personality. More than I can say for some other miraculous) (wait a minute this is the Miraculous of Migration now, wtf)
Goat miraculous of Passion Imagination
Genesis: Miraculous of Passion, dafaq??? Anyway, the power is still a discount of the Ladybug miraculous but it gets to stay for having a different function than the Ladybug power (I win button vs imagination power)
Monkey miraculous of Derision
Uproar: The power is a little op, but because of the changes I made to the Ladybug and Cat it shouldn't be too bad. (I like how this miraculous title foreshadowed that Kim is like low key a jerk.)
Rooster miraculous of Pretension
Sublimation: The user makes an impossible claim about one of the abilities they already possess, and the power makes that claim true for 5 minutes. (it was so easy to not make this thing broken, but the writer just had to use it as a lazy reason for why Hawkmoth can turn invisible! My reworked power works the way we all thought it did before season 5, it only effects physical abilities you already had. Kicking a ball into a goal is something you can already do, but with the rooster you can never miss a goal. This rework is still pretty powerful as far as zodiac miraculous go, but its no where near as bad as before)
Dog miraculous of Adoration
Fetch: Stays the same, it's not overtuned and it makes thematic sense for a dog hero.
Pig miraculous of Jubilation
Gift: Stays the same. F everyone who says its a bad power, its one of the best!

With the power system for Power Rangers Arctic Thunder, I wanted to show off some ideas on what I think Aura and Soul Energy would look like.
The idea is that they have this wispy appearance emulating a miasma, there’s also this smokey and grainy flow that emits from the body with stars and lights spiraling around. I used one of Conner’s drawings and added the aura. Though there are variations, such as Kira having a more zigzagged appearance with a sparky look while Ethan’s is more compact and light based
