Through being born again in Christ, Israel’s stouts become ours as well.
Ever since the fall of man, God sent himself out a mission to redeem his creation, and create a new, multi-ethnic family through faith in his saving power.
Through Jesus, and his sacrifice on the cross, we have received not only the new Kingdom, but a new family with him as its head. Just as we are physically born into a family, so are we when we are born again. The difference being that this family is much bigger, and many members aren’t even on Earth.
This is why Christians call each other “brother” and “sister”. Since we have been adopted by God into his new family through faith in his son, we have become family members in Christ. It’s through this truth that we can begin to treat others with respect, like a true family, and to love others as our own.
Through us being born again, ancient Israel’s hope is now ours as well. God not only becomes a friend, but our Father upon which we can lean on and look to for guidance. Our enemies become our brothers and sisters, and His love becomes our love.
The best part? All are welcome!
This is a promise for all who trust in God, regardless of their social status, ethnicity, or past regrets.
All are welcome in God’s home ✝️❤️

August 27, 2024 - Exhortation
The enemy would love to abort the promises of God in His people right now by baiting us into discouragement, disillusion, faint-heartedness, offense, apathy, and selfish ambition. Any of these can lead us down a path to miscarry the promises of God.
When a woman goes into labor she is taught to breathe. We can do this spiritually by meditating on Christ. We fill our lungs with His breath by focusing our thoughts on Him and following the lead of the Holy Spirit.
"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19)
Many Believers are getting ready to birth. The Holy Spirit and angels will be your coaches to help you successfully birth. God is getting ready to birth the next stage of your Christ calling. Again, the Lord is reminding us:
"'Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?' says the LORD. Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?' says your God" (Isaiah 66:9).

On the cusp of something new as we hit the midpoint of the week
As I got up this morning, with the reality of what the rest of this week will bring, could bring, and might bring, I realize we are on the cusp of something new. Be it a visit from family like today. Be it a milestone marker like tomorrow and Friday. Or even a celebration of all the hard work on Saturday, I realize we are on the cusp of something new. Even as I reflect on work and all the work…

2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT). “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”
“Claiming a Promise of God” By In Touch Ministries:
“While you're waiting for God to move, ask Him to help you grow in faith, obedience, and patience.”
God’s promises are precious (2 Pet. 1:4). Not only do they remind us of His personal interest in our life, but they also provide hope and encouragement during difficult times.
Before claiming a promise, we must check ourselves in three areas: faith, obedience, and patience. First, we must trust Jesus as our personal Savior. Next, we must obey God. As discussed in yesterday’s devotion, our obedience or action is required in order to claim conditional promises. Finally, patience is required. God operates on His timetable to accomplish His purposes according to His perfect plan.
At times it may seem as if a divine promise is not being fulfilled. When that is the case, take another look at the biblical passage to be sure it applies to you. Then verify that you have met the necessary conditions. If you are still convinced the promise applies, look a little deeper at your request. Will God be honored when this promise is fulfilled? Will it help you grow spiritually? These additional questions will assist you in claiming a promise.
The Holy Spirit will build our faith through Scripture, provide the strength necessary to obey, and develop in us the fruit of patience. These qualities are necessary and will help us as we look to God to fulfill His promises.”

YOU vs YOUR FEAR? SPIRITUAL POST
Fear is an intruder dynamic and was never part (but allowed) of the creation aspect or divine purpose, but can be used in such a way that brings about the necessary, personal spiritual growth. You see it occupies valuable Real Estate within the self & when approached, has no standing whatsoever. It has an obvious weakness that protects it, but not any longer THE UNKNOWN To marvel, wonder &…

Our Promise-Keeping God

Promises You Should Know. Promises You Should CLAIM
“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. According to BibleInfo.com, someone has counted 3573 promises in the Bible. Bible Gateway.com lists 127…

Overview of the Judges
Judges 2: 16-18. Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them. And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so. And when the LORD raised…

The Holy Spirit as the Source of Hope
Hope, as an anchor for our souls, is sustained by the Holy Spirit, not by circumstances. The Spirit reminds us of God’s promises, fosters assurance in trials, and directs us towards eternal life. Through prayer and encouragement, we can cultivate hope.
Hope is the anchor of our souls, especially when life feels overwhelming. But true, lasting hope doesn’t come from our circumstances—it comes from the Holy Spirit. He assures us of God’s promises, renews our perspective, and gives us the strength to press forward, no matter what we face. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit…
