At the bus stop one time there was a gaggle of preschoolers waiting to catch the bus for a field trip day, and someone walked past with a couple of friendly little dogs, to great general delight.

But after a little bit, the dogs were getting overwhelmed, and the preschoolers were gently coaxed to back off so the person with the dogs could continue on. Specifically, one of the preschool teachers said, "Sometimes, when you're small, being surrounded by big people can be a bit scary and overwhelming. Even if they are friendly."

This was recieved as great wisdom: after all, the preschoolers were also small, and understood how scary and overwhelming big people could be! And the dogs were indeed even smaller than the preschoolers, so it made sense.

What was funny and charming was that, upon absorbing and reflecting on this wisdom, they all felt the need to tell it to one another. In tones of great insight, they turned to one another and said, "Did you know? Sometimes when you are small, being surrounded by big people can be scary and overwhelming! Even if they are friendly!" Back and forth, without any particular concern that they were all saying the same thing. Have reached comprehension of an insight, it must be shared!

I must say that this behavior is less charming in tumblr users than in preschoolers. Not least because tumblr users, having gained a little analytical skill to misuse, insist on Summarizing and Generalizing and Unifying the insights they repeat, quickly turning any interesting new information into formulaic dogmatic mush.

he runs a hand over his face, then down your arm gently, like you’ll disappear if he touches too hard. “i didn’t see it. i should’ve seen it. i thought you were just tired.”

“i am tired,” you whisper.

and this time, he means it.

not just the soft promises and fruit bowls left on your nightstand. no. this is full-on restructuring the entire way your life looks. he’s calling in help, easing off work, booking appointments, even sleeping with the baby monitor on his side of the bed now.

because seeing you fall like that—seeing how far gone you’d really gotten behind the walls of your pretty smile—was like watching the whole house he built with you start to collapse.

♡ you sat on the counter as you watched him work around in the kitchen. something about this act was so homely, so domestic. how automated it was, how it all came together so perfectly. how you were so used to it, but would never get tired of it. he was whisking up his world famous (as he would like to call it) pancakes.

- A mixture of disgust at the show of weakness and regret that he refuses to acknowledge.

- If Curly had began crying in the middle of their argument, Jimmy would've been outraged and immediately accused him of doing it to manipulate. (Projecting hard.)

- If Curly waits to cry in private Jimmy can't even find it in himself to enjoy it. He doesn't have the satisfaction of gaining the upper hand anymore.

Nothing dramatic, just the two of them walking side by side. Not much pda, both masked up and dressed pretty casually. Still, people immediately started speculating — mainly because the guy looks a lot like G-dragon, her ex boyfriend 

If you’re not familiar with their history, they were rumored to be dating around 2015. Never confirmed, but it was kind of an open secret. It was too obvious. They had a lot of lowkey interactions online, subtle matching items, and fans noticed some behind-the-scenes stuff during overlapping schedules, Liking eachothers posts and alot of pics of eachother. Things seemed to be off in 2017, right when G-dragon started his motte tour. That was the point where people started suspecting they were having issues. She usually attends bigbang concerts and gd’s tours whenever she has the time. She’s always seen in the crowd secretly and sometimes backstage pics but during motte tour she was never seen in the crowd ever she barley reposted about it like she usually does with all her industry friends. People thought she was focusing on her solo career or the bigger opinion which was they were having issues. By 2018, it became pretty clear they were done. y/n unliked a bunch of old posts about them, deleted comments that referenced their relationship (or the breakup), and generally stopped engaging with anything related to him. No official statement, but fans took that as confirmation. This all happened a few months (suspected december , november) after he came back from military service. Which marks the start of their hiatus. So naturally, when these new photos dropped, a lot of people jumped to conclusions. -jiyong was recently seen in seoul and where y/n is it looks alot like tokyo and after some digging it looks like a familiar cafe in tokyo .

-y/n and Gd haven’t interacted in years, so a random public link-up seems unlikely without any hints at least like they usually did back in the days. - She’s been laying low for a while. From 2020, y/n been really under the radar in her hiatus. She occasionally posts about her cats, art or fashion but she’s avoided any public drama or dating speculation. Her pr team still deletes comments about them till this day. If this was a reconnection with jiyong, it seems weird she’d risk being seen in public so casually after every thing she has done to avoid when it first started No info yet on who the guy actually is — could be a friend, someone she works with, or maybe she’s quietly seeing someone new (most likely). Hard to say. If anyone has seen y/n’s recent live on instagram after a longgg time since her hiatus she was just chilling and answering some questions from the live chat and ofc as expected many questions about gd , their break up etc etc.. here are the two transcript i heard her saying 1st - question: what do you think about gyro drop? - answer: “oh gyro drop? the words spilled from his mouth quicker than his thoughts. he couldn’t help it. you looked so calm and tranquil and he’s wanted it for so long and you made his mind all foggy and jumbled up.

rin started panicking at your silence— his palms became sweaty, which he knows you, immediately, noticed, and he couldn’t move his gaze away from you. your eyes were still closed, but at rin’s words there was the smallest hint of a smile. rin hoped— no, prayed it was the good kind of smile.

“you want a baby, with me?” did you think he was joking? your tone of voice sounded like you did.

“i’m being serious.” his frown deepened, trying to figure out what you were thinking, “i want a baby with you,” your eyes peeled open at that seal of affirmation, looking up at rin, who was already gazing at you, pleadingly.

too shocked to say anything, you simply nodded. rin, on the other hand, had the slightest trace of a smile on his face.

you only find out years later, but that’s the happiest rin’s ever felt.
