Oh no, the more I think about Fadel & Bison being born upper class, the more I'm questioning why they were basically kidnapped so easily.

Even if they had no other family members to look for them, when anything happens to rich people, law enforcement and the media act like it's a national emergency (anyone remember OceanGate???). But Lilly snatched up those nepo-babies as though they'd never even existed!

You know who would have been way easier to steal with basically nobody noticing? Lower class kids with no one to look for them.

Reverse Hitman AU where Lilly takes Kant, Style and Babe instead of Fadel, Bison and Keen.

Kant and Babe would be so easy to kidnap. Their parents are already dead and kids get lost in the foster system all the time.

Or, if one wanted to keep the element of Lilly killing the parents, she could have either orchestrated the plane crash or used it to pass the hit off as a tragic accident when in reality she poisoned them before they even got on the plane.

Kant has already been shown in canon to submit to the wills of authority figures and he was willing to break the law to support Babe financially. A young and impressionable Kant could be manipulated into killing if it was for his brother’s safety.

Babe wouldn't be as useful to Lilly right away since he'd literally be a toddler, but she could look at him as an investment. The future, perfect hitman that she could mold from infancy who would be loyal only to her. In the meantime, he'd make for excellent insurance to hold over Kant's head to force him into compliance.

Style's mother has already died of cancer, and the loss causes his father to ‘shut down’ for a time. His dad is deeply grieving and works in a hazardous profession. Lilly could make it look like an industrial accident or even suicide over the loss of his wife to get him out of the way.

Style does have a list of relatives who would notice him missing, but from the outside it would just look like the death of both his parents drove Style to run away from home. It's unlikely any extended family members would have the resources to look for him, let alone take care of him. The police would just label him as a runaway who'd come back on his own eventually, so they could quickly write him off rather than waste resources looking for him.

Style might be harder for Lilly to control, since he's an unpredictable loose cannon and a pacifist at heart. But in the show, Style goes along with Kant's scheme even after he learns the truth because his greatest weakness is his fierce loyalty. All Lilly would have to do is encourage the family angle and get him attached to Kant and Babe for him to fall in line, following her orders as long as it's for their sake.

Style is such a good actor and a smooth talker, he would be great at schmoozing the marks and getting their guards down. And well, we’ve already seen how weirdly comfortable he is holding a gun.

Her perfect hit-men candidates. Children who fell through the cracks of society. Children who no one would miss.

that scene was necessary even beyond the comic relief is cuz I wanted to show that GP is very good, very competent at his hackerman job but playing a character is a whole different skillset altogether. so GP is nervous like it NEEDS to be a date he can remember as if some other staffer is gonna ask him their anniversary and if he'll says the wrong one they'll know the ruse is up 💀 so he settles for a date that's significant to him. 2015 isn't that long ago when you're 43. but for maxy... he was a babby 😭

max pouncing on GP's weakness and not letting him breathe. but he also makes a good point. how many billionaire men got 19 year old gfs and nobody in those circles even blink. and max has been groomed (into the hitmen business) so his idea of normality is very far off.

so how I came up with this fic is I wanted the vibe of "long suffering GP and his 26 year old wife max" and I knew I wanted max practically all over him and GP having to tolerate it. so I had to reverse engineer to get to this AU, cause okay, fake dating! now why is the fake dating necessary? because... it's their cover! for doing a heist! and this is ofc very far from their irl dynamic as race driver and engineer so it was fun fleshing out, like GP is essentially a blank canvas OC but I still tried to make it true to their essence, like how they bicker on radio but then also make up and this codependance

Writing Log: September 2023

I thought September couldn't be worse than August. Well, life continued to be a cunt, and as of Sept 20, fiction also became a cunt. Looking at you, Jujutsu Kaisen.

I wrote a fair bit in the first half of the month, but the second half wasn't as cooperative. Looking at you again, Jujutsu Kaisen. Though my health seesawing and stress levels being through the roof the whole month didn't help...

October, I am begging you to be nice.

the ghost in me was true (but you were haunted too) [JJK, goyuu, amnesia AU where Yuuji disappears for over a decade and reappears without any memories, and Gojou's left to navigate a relationship with the ghost of his lover]: 15,167

(and he had said) darling, your looks can kill, so now you’re dead [JJK, goyuu, age reversal AU featuring first-year student Gojou and his mentor Yuuji; Gojou provokes Yuuji in a crowded train car and gets a little more than he bargained for]: 14,424

The age reversal fic isn't done, but I'd just finished the second chapter when 236 came out, and I wound up switching gears to the time travel fic. I'll hopefully be able to go back to it once I get the 236 feels out of my system.

Series Summary: Three up-and-coming hitmen—Yang Jeong In (“The Gumiho”), Hwang Hyun Jin (“Hwang”), and Felix Lee (“The Smiler”)—find themselves in contact with the shadowy info broker “Blackbox,” though whether they’re on her good side or not is in a constant state of flux. Despite the potentially devastating consequences, not all ties in life are easily severed. Pangwave Mafia au headcanons:

- Wave is a hacker who is indebted to the Mafia because his parents had a large gambling debt before they were killed by the Mafia. It will likely take all of Wave’s life to pay off his parents’ debt.

- Pang is the son of the leader of the Mafia. He sometimes questions his role and morality but is dutiful to his family and it’s also all he knows.

- Wave hates the mafia with every part fiber of his being for entrapping him and his family. He trusts no one. One day, it gets too much and he launches an internal attack on the financial accounts of the Mafia leader.

- Pang is the one tasked with dealing with ‘the hacker’ who messed with their accounts. This is his least favorite part of his role. He often just negotiates with the people he is tasked to ‘deal with’ instead of resorting to violence like his Father wants him to.

- When Pang finally finds Wave (the hacker is able to evade Pang for weeks), Wave is hiding out at a random warehouse. Pang kicks the door down and rushes the hacker. Pang is shocked to find himself instantly fascinated by the defiant looking Hacker.

- Wave puts up a good fight against Pang but is shocked to find that the son of the Mafia leader doesn’t seem interested in laying a hand on him other than trying to keep him from escaping.

- Wave and Pang end up parting ways on an oddly amicable note and neither of them are sure how it happened. Pang negotiates a reduced debt if he comes back to work as a hacker as Pang is quite impressed by his work. Pang vows to cover up Wave’s hacking as a frame job.

- Pang begins to make excuses to seek out Wave: ‘tech approvals’, ‘performance reviews’ and much more. Wave finds it a bit odd at first but he starts to enjoy having Pang around, the Mafia member’s optimism is kind of infectious. Wave lets Pang hang out while he is doing his work and they just sit in comfortable silence.

- Soon, Pang and Wave spend almost every day together, finding solace and sanctuary from their chaotic lives in each other. When they are with each other, they don’t talk about work, they just get to know each other. Wave is pleasantly surprised to find out that Pang has much more of a moral spectrum than he initially anticipated. Pang treasures everything that Wave is willing to share with him.

-Ohm, Pang’s best friend, is also one of the Mafia’s best hitmen. He is known for his innate ability to ‘disappear’ after a hit. This also means he ‘appears’ at very inconvenient times, like one time that Pang is trying to meet up with Wave at a coffee shop. Pang begs him not to say anything but Ohm introduces himself, delighting in just how nervous the whole thing makes his usually unflappable best friend. Wave is indifferent to the interaction other than the fact that he’s meeting one of Pang’s other friends.

- One night, Pang shows up to Wave’s apartment unannounced on a motorcycle. He takes Wave on a midnight adventure of the city and Wave has never felt so alive before, risking it all at ridiculous speeds with his head rested against Pang’s back.

- Chanon is Pang’s older brother and the eldest in the family, next in line to inherit the family business and his right hand man, Pom, points out that Pang has been spending more and more time around their top hacker, which they both find unusual. Chanon tasks Pom with finding out more and says he can take any measure necessary.

- Wave is starting to teach Pang how to code and while 90% of the time Pang has no idea what he’s doing, the fact that he’s even trying makes Wave even more fond of Pang.

- Wave starts to feel like someone is watching him but whenever he turns around, he can never spot anyone. When Wave mentions it to Pang, a dark look falls over Pangs face.

-A few days later, Pang shows up to Wave’s apartment, broken and bloodied. He can barely walk but insists that he can’t go to the hospital because his Father has given the order. Wave suddenly has another reason to hate Pang’s father. Wave lets Pang stay with him for a few days and takes care of him until he’s better.

- In revenge, Wave launches another internal attack but his code is quickly traced back to him. This time, there’s nothing Pang can do to protect him.

- Wave is kidnapped by Chanon and Pom and held hostage until he reverses the coding damage he did. When Pang finds out, he confronts his father and threatens to leave the family unless Wave is set free. Pang’s father says that Pang needs to choose between the family and Wave. He has until the next morning to make his decision.

- With the help of Ohm, Pang is able to find where Wave is being held. He breaks in and rushes to Wave, who has been beat to a pulp, his glasses broken. Pang approaches him and has the sudden urge to embrace his friend. Wave is so relieved to see Pang that when Pang drops to his knees in front of him, Wave leans forward and kisses Pang. When he pulls away, he murmurs, “Just in case I don’t get the chance to do that again.”

-In that moment, Pang knows what he must do. He unchains Wave and they escape into the night together. Ohm has arranged for them to be able to flee the country with new identities. Pang does not regret it even for a second and Wave has nothing to lose either.

- Pang and Wave start a new life together and quickly realize that they do not miss the life of chaos and crime that they once endured. As long as they have each other, that is enough.

Welcome to Reverse Heroes, an 18+ discord rp server! In this world All for One is a hero, but a dark one at that who determines that the strong must follow his will and become heroes. The pressure to coat your job based on your quirk alone is immense, creating a repressive society. Still, there are those who fall into this pressure and those who fight against it. Welcome to the new age.

THE LEAGUE

The League of Villains was a name given to them by others when they first started. In the beginning of All for One's endless reign, he tried to force his elder brother to join him, but the brother knew what he was doing was wrong, strong arming and forcing people into roles regardless of their own wants because that was what was "best". In order to control his brother he tried to force a power stockpiling quirk onto him, but it ended up merging with his own quirk, merely a quirk that let him move quirks between people. The two merged and created a new power that could only be passed from person to person, and so the quirk One for All was created.

Nana Shimura became the 7th user of One for All, and decided to form a group to fight against the tyranny of All for One, who while he kept society safe, also kept them complacent and afraid, with the sole goal of bringing him down for good. Toshinori Yagi took on this mantle after All for One killed her in a fight, and while Toshinori did not bring him to an end, was able to force him into retirement.

People feel safer now, but the work isn't done yet. The institutions that created All for One must still be destroyed. And so the League of Villains acts.

THE HEROES

While many heroes looked up to All for One, it couldn't be denied that while the crime increased after he was forced into retirement, society as a whole became more joyful. Many heroes are working to become the new symbol of justice and take his place, while others are trying to fight against the commission and create reform from the inside. There are corrupt heroes, there are heroes who are basically hitmen for the commission, but there's good people too.

UA

Most teachers fall under the category of "pushing what All for One fought for" but there are some good teachers. However, there's all kinds of students, and with the freedom that's been allowed to them by All for One's retirement, they're much freer to determine who they want to be as heroes. Some have come to school to reclaim the word hero for what it really means, others are there for fame, others are there for power.

YAKUZA

Shie Hassaikai is a traditional yakuza organization. While they engage in organized crime, they work by a strict code of ethics. Codenames do not exist in this organization. They also do charity work, working in disaster relief and organizing donations. They also operate fight rings, sex work (no trafficking it's voluntary), drug trade, and other typical yakuza work. Important to note, they are not mindless thugs. They have very specific values that clash with hero society, but they are not villains. They will, however, work with villains when necessary. In general though, they consider themselves better than villains and heroes.

VIGILANTES

This is FULL of people who want to help but are not ready to turn to the current broken system or wish to rely on a questionable organization like the League of Villains. In general vigilantes act alone or in small teams and their sole goal is to help people. They're well regarded by society but generally hated by everyone else. They're always being hunted by basically everyone. 

CIVILIANS

They're just people trying to live their lives. They can be connected to anyone from any group, but in general they aren't involved in the society dynamics beyond what affects them.

WHO YOU CAN AND CAN'T PLAY

Obviously you can pick up any character! The point of this server is to have fun reimagining our favorites! But we do have some rules on canon conversion. Obviously you cannot play your cheat in the same category as they are in canon (ex you couldn't play All Might as a hero) but there's also a couple other rules.

Yakuza cannot be League

League cannot be yakuza

Students cannot be pros

Pros cannot be students (the UA traitor spot is already taken)

Vigilantes cannot be civilians

Civilians cannot be vigilantes

Posting Schedule: September 2023

Well, I didn't die or lose (what's left of) my mind last month with my 6-fic, 3-fandom schedule, so let's see how it fares over a second month.

September 01–15: Part 4 of some sweet violent urge

MCU; stucky. AU series with modern!Steve and enhanced!Bucky. This is the final part, in which Bucky dresses to impress—and get undressed.

September 01–08: Chapter 2 of there’s a lover in the story, but the story’s still the same

JJK; goyuu. During the basement training era, Satoru de-ages to his seventeen-year-old self due to an experiment gone wrong, and Yuuji’s left to handle the aftermath.

September 09–15: Chapter 3 of baby blue, they paid you to take my youth and use it up

JJK; goyuu. Role reversal AU in which Satoru goes into heat and gleefully makes it Yuuji’s problem. They may or may not regret it.

September 15–30: Chapter 3 of love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage

Bleach; grimmichi. Mr. and Mrs. Smith-esque AU where rival hitmen who also happen to be married duke it out in a futuristic setting.

September 16–22: Chapter 2 of (let me be clear) every version of the story ends with you being slaughtered

JJK; goyuu. Yuuji chooses a different hell at the crematorium, and Gojou decides that kidnapping him is a reasonable response. It escalates in all kinds of ways.

September 23–30: Chapter 4 of the way it follows you home, the stories i never told

JJK; goyuu. A much older Yuuji and Satoru travel back to 2006 to avert an apocalyptic future, and sixteen-year-old Satoru has a hell of a time with his older self and his lover.

AU-gust 15 - Role Reversal AU

“Fuck,” Phil muttered, trying not to eye the exits too obviously.

“All right there, Coulson?” His handler sounded amused, and Phil swore again in his head. He might be new to Level 4, but he had aspirations of being a cool and unflappable senior agent one day, and swearing under pressure wasn’t conducive to that goal.

“Not particularly, sir,” he said, attempting to keep his voice level. “I’m pretty sure our informant sold us out. Either that or the dress code of this place just got a lot more deadly.”

“Get out.” The voice in his ear was sharp. “Now. Side door, if you can.”

“Ten-four,” Phil said, starting to back away from the bar. The swanky party he’d been pulled for was supposed to be a simple info drop, a good excuse for Phil to practice his basic undercover work in foreign climes and wear the mouth-watering, tailored suit wardrobe had provided. He was armed (because of course he was), but not with nearly the firepower required for taking on the small army of Greek mafia hitmen currently filtering their way through the opulent ballroom.

He began slowly drifting toward the doors that would take him out of the ballroom near the hotel’s back exit, but three solid slabs of muscles with obvious shoulder holsters got there first.

Phil hummed under his breath and glanced at the kitchen, but trying to make his way through the catering staff would not be inconspicuous and besides, several men were already making their way over there to block the obvious exit.

He glanced around, quickly calculating his options. There was one route left open, and his window was closing fast. “Balcony, sir,” he said.

His handler swore quietly. “Go, Coulson.”

Phil abandoned subtlety. He hurried across the ballroom, mumbling excuses to the black ties and ballgowns he brushed past. The balcony ran the length of the ballroom and the French doors on that wall were open to let in the mild night air. It was also on the third floor with no points of egress, because apparently eccentric Athenian billionaires like to build their luxury hotels on top of hills and had lax approaches to safety standards.

No sooner had he made the balcony than a sharp thunk drew his attention. An arrow had buried itself in the stone just above the doorway he’d come through, a thin cord trailing from it over the railing and down into the darkness. “What the--?”

“Grappling arrow,” his handler said abruptly. “C’mon, Coulson, we don’t have all day.”

“How--?” Phil glanced back and saw that the mobsters had apparently figured where he was and were closing in fast.

His handler made an impatient noise. “Your tie is kevlar reinforced, isn’t it?��Move, Coulson!”

“Right,” Phil breathed and reached for his tie. He fumbled it in his haste, but managed to pull it off. He wrapped one end around his left hand, took a deep breath, and climbed onto the railing.

He heard cries of surprise from the couples that had been enjoying a quiet evening on the balcony (apparently too engrossed to register the arrow landing, but not too engrossed to realize a man was about to jump) and shouts of anger from the goons, but he didn’t pay attention to any of that.

Instead, Phil had a moment of panic when he thought he’d lose his footing, but he managed to hold on long enough to toss the trailing end of his tie over the cord and wrap the end around his right hand.

He didn’t spare a glance for the henchmen behind him, just braced himself and jumped. He swore he felt a hand brush the back of his jacket, but then he was away, the bright lights and noise of the ballroom quickly falling behind him as he rushed headfirst into inky blackness.

At first, he screwed his eyes shut, but then the terror of not knowing when he was going to hit something overcame the terror of knowing, and he opened them again.

For a few hair-raising heartbeats, he didn’t see anything at all, then the outline of a tree approached with alarming speed, and he twisted out of the way just in time to avoid being attacked by branches.

He could see the tops of more trees coming toward him, and--

“Drop!” the voice in his ear barked, and Phil let go.

For an instant, he was sure he was going to die, then he hit a relatively soft surface. He looked up and saw his handler’s face in the thin moonlight, and he was reasonably sure that he wasn’t going to die.

“Jesus Christ, Coulson,” he said, reaching a hand down to help Phil up. “Don’t do that again; my blood pressure can’t handle it.”

“Sorry, Agent Barton,” Phil said, trying to look contrite as he climbed out of what he could now feel was a pile of damp leaves. “But I was a little limited in my options. You could take it up with Petrakis if you like,” he offered.

Barton snorted. “Oh, I’ll take something up with him,” he said darkly, and Phil would feel bad for their erstwhile informant, if he hadn’t just sold them out.

He registered the cold wet soaking through the back of his trousers and scrunched his face up in disgust. “I liked this suit, too,” he groused.

Barton laughed. “Very James Bond,” he agreed, amusement shining through every word. “C’mon, let’s get you cleaned up.” He put a hand on Phil’s shoulder and used it to steer him out of the forest in what Phil presumed to be the correct direction. “You did good, kid.”

As expected, Phil started to protest that he wasn’t kid - he was twenty-five and a goddamn spy, okay? - but he also kept the small warmth inside him that the words generated. He did good. His handler was proud of him. Phil was going to be the best goddamn spy in SHIELD one day, just wait and see.

Anybody interested in a half-baked Harry Potter protag/antag roleswap AU I’ve been thinking about recently? Here ya go

The Bad Guys:

Harry is Dark Lord Supreme, and Ron and Hermione are his right and left hands. They still graduated out of Gryffindor, and they still have their respective jobs at the Ministry

Also, the villains still call themselves Dumbledore’s Army. Their overall goal is to take over the Ministry/ the governing forces of the rest of the wizarding world and force everyone to abide by their specific beliefs, which are predictably villainish. They herald Dumbledore as like, the figurehead of their whole movement and claim to be carrying on his work

The DA actually has a pretty strong following, like any political movement that makes enough noise and appeals to people’s basic distrust of government. There’s whispers of them quietly offing their strong opponents and participating in various other illegal dealings; all of which are true, but none of which anybody can prove, obviously.

The Good Guys:

Tom Riddle is the main protagonist. He’s the little orphan boy in hand-me-down robes who gets made fun of at Hogwarts, and the other Slytherins kind of ostracize him. His only real friends are Lucius Malfoy and Regulus Black.

Lucius’ father- I guess it could be Draco? Since we’re essentially reversing the ages of the main cast here?- is Harry’s longtime rival and one of the strongest critics of the DA. He’s only managed to survive this long because he’s absolutely paranoid that Harry might come after him. Or, if you prefer, maybe he hasn’t! Maybe he’s already dead. Either way, all Lucius managed to learn from him of Harry was fear.

Reg’s family is very pro-DA, but he isn’t. He dreams of becoming an openly rebellious teen, but frankly, isn’t brave enough. He’s content to stay in Tom’s shadow while at Hogwarts.

Tom himself is pretty much the same. He has flaws (chiefly narcissism, pride, and an extremely violent temper), but the existence of a specific enemy for him to turn his anger towards is enough to keep him from murdering people and splitting his soul into pieces. He’s more focused on studying the art of politics, honestly. He wants to beat Harry’s crew at their own game one day.

The Good Guy Adventures include both heated debates with ideologically differing perspectives, and increasingly dangerous encounters with DA hitmen once they actually start to become a threat. Which, of course they do. Tom is smart, charismatic, and determined. Of course people start flocking to his banner, this handsome little child-genius. He makes sense, and he makes a lot of noise. Of course people start listening.

Miscellaneous:

In this AU Gryffindor’s attribute of bravery is portrayed more like arrogance, and Slytherin’s attribute of ambition is more like ordinary determination. Not so hard to imagine, is it?

Bellatrix is exactly the same. Like, exactly the same. Which is to say, a rabid fangirl who would do anything to get Tom’s attention. Rodolphus is still clumsily trying to court her and she’s kinda playing along, but really she only has eyes for Tom.

Neville, Hogwarts herbology professor, is a universal constant. Additionally, Wood is transfiguration professor.

Hermione is the brains of the DA operation, obviously, but Harry and Ron aren’t afraid to go out there and get their hands dirty. Harry in particular- he’s a powerful wizard in his own right, and it’s a proven fact from actual canon that he’s not afraid to use Unforgivable Curses to get what he wants. Scary dude.

Luna is like, DA’s mad scientist. She’s the one making up experimental potions and dubious Halfblood Prince-esque spells. All of which is top secret, obviously.

Snape is a few years ahead of Tom at Hogwarts and he’s still this morally ambiguous character, and no one really ever knows all of what’s going on with him. His main purpose is to play devil’s advocate to all of Tom’s arguments, without really ever showing what he really believes

I’m not 100% on this, but I’m leaning towards far-left DA. They use words like ‘equality’ and ‘justice’ a lot. If you’re not paying close enough attention, it sounds harmless enough, but in actuality it’s more like wizard communism.
