I made a curious cat and people been asking about my designs so I thought I would share it here too If you have any question too you can send it here or over on curious cat!

Under cut is a very long monologue about some design choices regarding my s1 gang, Gerry and some avatars!

S1: Jon, Martin, Sasha and Tim

Right off the bat I'll admit I had seen TMA fanart before, but I assumed it was a game from how consistent designs are (Jon and Martin); however when I started I avoided fanart (but I am not immune to TMA fanon designs). I'll explain S1 gang, they are my favourites. I find fcs helpful to keep them consistence.

Jon: I have a basic Jon design: short, brown man with long hair and glasses. Jon has a put together façade but, he wasn't qualified for the archivist position, and he doesn't know what he's doing. Therefore, I like him with longer hair he can't care for, therefore messy. It gets longer with the seasons and adding on all the marks he gains from the entities. I gave him half-moon, golden glasses with chains holding two eyes. I like to think it's a Beholding artefact, so Gertrude wore them before him. I used to have Dev Patel as a reference for him, but I've switched over to Riz Ahmed!

Martin: Very basic: fat man with fluffy hair and glasses. When I heard his voice, I thought of Harvey Guillén, who stayed a reference for Martin's body. I pictured him in a dorky attire; round glasses, ginger, comfy yet business appropriate clothing. I added eyes in the pattern of his jumper and added freckles. I've recently play around adding a beard, because I think he wants to look older than he is (re: CV; "I'm only 29!") but haven't found a style I like. I keep him fat throughout the series, instead of him losing weight s4.

Sasha: She has some canon traits: tall, long hair and glasses. I draw her hair up to stay out of her face. Contra Jon, I think she was more qualified for the archivist position, so Gertrude started preparing her for the role. She wears an eye necklace I draw Gertrude wearing that's in the same style as Jon's glasses. She has a matching bracelet with Tim and overall is one of my favourites. (notSasha): I took what was established and flipped it; short, short hair, no glasses. I imagine notthem could pass as cousins (since they still need traits to the victim's family?); no immediate resemblance but with a few traits of the original.

Tim: Canonically described as hot so I have my own bias. I started with general attractive traits: tall and fit. I think he puts a lot into his appearance. I use Keanu Reeves as a reference, and he works great for him. He’s a hair guy, gets it professionally cut and owns expensive products, skincare routine and dresses in fitted clothing. His standard is a shirt with an eye pattern. He takes pride in his appearance, so S2’s worm scars troubled him. He stops shaving to let it heal properly but they never go away. He never liked looking at them and they are a cruel reminder of the past (however, one scar splits his eyebrow to x2 bisexuality). S3 he stopped caring about putting in effort, the stubble grew into a beard and his clothes aren't fitted. He loses muscles, gains weight, and isn’t who he was in S1.

Gerard Keay

I had just assumed Eric was hispanic (for some reason) and then I connected that he's Gerry's dad, and apparently I headcanon him half hispanic lol

But it was why I wanted to draw the Mama family portrait to play with genetics. Letting his dad be rather tall, tan with dark curly hair and Mary be ginger with paler skin; Gerry's pale, ginger with curly hair as a child. He grew up looking like Mary and started altering his appearance to be more like his dad; dyed dark hair and taking some of Eric's clothing (I also gave both a beauty mark under their eye he'll highlight despite wearing make up). Alternative scenes and goths tend to straighten their hair but I let Gerry have naturally wavy to still resemble his dad more. I tried to give him trad goth make up, mainly looking at Siouxsie Sioux in the late 70s. And a fun bonus to have his hair often cover one eye because, The Eye

Gerry cared for his dad, even if he died when he was a toddler (if I remember correctly). Gerry's chosen name is the nickname Eric referred to him as, which is also where my trans headcanon comes in (afab). I haven't thought it out fully, or how that reflects on other characters since everyone else calls him Gerard but I think there's some symbolising there having a chosen name relating back to Eric

(some) Avatars

Oliver Banks: "the Egyptians believed the most significant thing you could do in your life was die,"; I take inspiration from Ancient Egypt for my Oliver design! He wears an Ankh around his neck, but I want to look into more about Egyptian death symbolism (he has a cross too, but I'll probably remove it for future designs). I've also taken some inspiration from Nordic mythology, with Hel (Hela In English? Loki's daughter (not Marvel) ) as half his face is beautiful, and the other is a corpse (skull). I don't wanna mix too many cultures just for the sake of it, but it was a really fun design decision. And he's goth. Bonus death aligned I next time I draw Georgie I'll draw inspiration from the Death's-head hawkmoth

The Distortions: Michael's 60s and Helen's 80s inspired, no reason, just vibes. I like to think of Michael as a spiral while Helen's a twist, if that makes sense, I've been meaning to draw them together to demonstrate, but I'll include a doodle of it

Jane Prentiss: I looked into a lot of paganism, and fell into a rabbit hole. She's described as a modern witch, so I wanted a subtle alternative look with a shaved side and gauges. One of her breasts are exposed because (boobs) in old pagan traditions a lot of rituals were performed nude, to be closer to nature. A lot of pagan art has a very strong feminine force, I want for Prentiss. She has one eye, but I'll probably remove the other too, I've seen a lot of people do for more holes

Nikola Orsinov: Drag king. Because we need more of those. I love drag so Nikola's has a mix of both male and female attributes since he's just trying to imitate a human. Their design is also inspired The Toy Soldier in the mechanisms (haven't listened? To it but a lot of people pointed me to that designing Nikola!) that's also her actor Jessica Law! I put all my gender into Nikola lol, and when I can sneak an IT reference in I will

Breekon and Hope: Wario and Waluigi

Annabelle Cane: She's described having web keeping her skull together, but for some reason I imagined it to be down her neck. So I pictured her head occasionally falling off and being restored by a web. So I gave her both lol. Her vintage style is old, goth Hollywood glam to me and I love looking at reference for her

Bonus Agnes: I haven't drawn her fully, but I wanna take inspiration from Scandinavian culture, think Midsommar (both the movie and the tradition) and maybe Norse paganism. I love Agnes story and how it's only told by other people, and her relationship with Gertrude is so interesting!

Being royalty, Princezam knows firsthand the power of a good image. And thus, when he first joined Lifesteal — the life-or-death anarchy server, mind you — he still had an elaborate skincare, makeup, and hair routine. This caused him to wake up much earlier than his team and go to sleep much later.

Zam’s actions were utterly confounding to his teammate Mapicc, who regularly used three-in-one shampoo-conditioner-body-wash and can’t name half the products Zam uses. When Mapicc saw Zam in the bathroom at 6 AM powdering his face, he thought it was a joke at first. Once he realized it wasn’t, he laughed so hard he couldn’t go back to sleep again.

Even after they stopped being teammates, Mapicc would sometimes imagine Zam doing his painstaking routine at odd hours of the day. It would never fail to make him chuckle.

Although during S4, seeing Zam unravel at the seams, abandoning any sense of his order and routine — makeup smudged with tears, bright blond hair now coated in ash and blood — was just as satisfying.

2023 bingo roundup

new years resolutions don't work for me, but having a bingo card to check every month keeps me thinking about new things. I managed triple bingo this year?! Thoughts about all of them under the cut - may not be of interest to anyone other than me, but it is my blog so

Random other stats books: 17 (+1) most recommended: Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (sci-fi. man in rocket trying to save earth. best read without further spoilers. enjoy?) most loved: the Rebel Kings MC series by Garrett Leigh which has sent me into full brain rot. queer biker brotherhood - romance and found family and trauma and violence

movies: 21 new favourites: Dungeons & Dragons, Nimona, Red, White and Royal Blue.

tv: 29 different shows, 34 full seasons. 8 partial seasons - some affectionate (actively watching Succession S2, Sons of Anarchy S4), some derogatory (gave up on Picard S3 and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S1)

Bingo squares A&E visit - read "ER visit". put this one in because up until this year kiddo had found herself in a&e at least once every year. this year? no, husband had a weird heart thing that resolved itself (??? bodies.) and i fucked my wrist by falling over while running with kiddo on her bike, to the point where i needed it x-rayed (it was fine)

appearance change - fucked around with my hair a little, cut it fairly short over the summer, braided it a bit, currently growing it out

redecorated - god so many things. i re-organised the bathroom to be somewhat tidier (and easier to clean!) and also bought a snake plant (she's doing lovely). we finally put up the border in kiddo's room. (she's 5. we bought it 7 years ago. 2016.) and then also bought and put together a bedside table and reading lamp for her. we hung curtain rails and put new blackout curtains in her room (grey) and ours (beautiful bottle green). decluttered half the kitchen and the sides are clean??? and staying tidy??? and then i had a december meltdown and we put together a little bookshelf upstairs to hold puzzles and two giant ones downstairs, ditching the sideboard via facebook marketplace and finally decluttering the living room. we have an ikea trip planned for tomorrow to get a million baskets to organise said bookshelves. also we reorganised the cupboard under the stairs and got a new shelf thing in there, made possible by the clearout i did earlier in the year. and i framed and hung kiddo's amazing penguin on the wall. phew.

new favourite foods - discovered 3 new takeaways that do incredible things + fries. very dangerous. one is colombian street food (loaded sweetcorn dirty fries, tostones), one is straight up fried chicken (spicy fries with hot sauce, cheese sauce and crispy onions), one is asian fusion (chili brisket noodles or hoisin crispy duck fries. plus gyoza). also husband discovered rasperry frangipane tarts at the shop and they are the perfect sweet and sharp deliciousness

happy news - new nephew! the recipient of The Baby Blanket, he is three months old now and the cuddliest delight

good surprise - surprise flowers from husband and kiddo. surprise birthday wishes (and gifts?!) <333 and in reverse I also snuck a needle minder on to husband's cross stitch and pulled together a couple of little surprises for kiddo. i think we're going to do an easter egg scavenger hunt this year.

self knowledge - no big revelations this year, thank fuck (and uhh sorry to those few of you that i might have nudged into revelations of your own.) I DID discover a couple new ways to get a brain reset when needed though

new routines - bread making, skincare, trying to be more organised about cleaning the house, got a little library routine with the kiddo, got interdental brushes back into the teeth routine, kiddo has her own bedtime routine by herself

apologised for a fuck up - yeah i had a couple of these, including one i just. ignored. for a month or so. not proud of that. glad i cleared the air

caught covid - for the first time! kiddo's final gift out of pre-school

got dressed up - kiddo came out with us for dinner on my birthday, that was a lot of fun, glad she's old enough to do this now! couple of other dinners, christmas etc. nothing big. waiting for the day she and i can wear matching dresses to a wedding

new skills - bread making, various knitting techniques (flat, in the round, intarsia, some cabling, pattern drafting, various increases and decreases, colour changing etc), but also: french and dutch braids (mostly on the kiddo, growing my hair out a little more for me) and photoshop giffing just about

survived a bad decision - not sure i have much specific to point to for this one. i fucked up a couple of times and recovered in a couple of ways. i did also figure out how to fix a complete brain meltdown so that helped a lot.

cried - yeah, a bunch of times actually. some fic that destroyed me. some complete emotional and physical exhaustion. and then the time my bastard husband (affectionate) made me sit through "slipping through my fingers" from the mamma mia soundtrack. a song that made me emotional before i had a kid and now d e s t r o y s me. but we were listening to the soundtrack in the car and he didn't skip it so i just sat there in floods of tears until it was over. cathartic

misc favourites - new fandom in Rebel Kings MC <333 and all that goes with that: new characters, new ships, fic that looks into my soul, you know, the usual.

being brave (blank) - left two blank, have decided one of these gets to be filled for being brave - spotted something at work that's ethically and legally dodgy, so had to speak up and get it agreed that we would remove something from a couple of systems so we're not violating anything. I think i railroaded everyone into just agreeing with me by turning up well-informed and determined? I had to re-explain it again recently, but at least people seem inclined to agree.

new friendship - um. this one is hilarious in retrospect? I have made several very lovely tumblr friendships this year but i don't think i initiated a single one? beyond commenting occasionally on posts, I think all of you have messaged me first so. thank you <3. and if you've been in my DMs this absolutely includes you fyi. I also managed to make friends with a couple of different parents at kiddo's school so that's good! not close friends, but at least someone i can talk to at the inevitable events. (and then there's you, who i didn't anticpate at all <333)

bad recipe - actually only one on my list this year? I tried to make potato rosti and it was just ??? burnt and also raw??? so unappealing i never even tried a redo

new craft - well. knitting. not much else to say here!

other thoughts - the fact that i don't have any new tech says something about the brain space I DIDN'T have this year. badly need to upgrade my desktop but i can't face the research right now. my kindle battery is also dying a death but then i have to think about non-amazon alternatives and blah.

don't know if this should get its own square, but i got to meet another discord friend this year and take her for a walk around York city walls, so that was an unexpected delight.

over all it was a much more productive year than i expected, and it's nice to think about the progress i made, especially when a lot of things still suck in a lot of ways and are hard to deal with. trying to carry that energy into 2024 and maybe we can also fix some of the harder things too

S4 CAS CC: A little Sunday night indulgence for your sims. 24 face treatments (facepaint) and 18 lip treatments (think blistex-like ointments and drugstore primers - not anything glam). Enabled for teens-elders and all genders.  There  are spot treatments, under eye  masks, some good oldfashion mud, seaweed & oatmeal, plus full face sheet masks (or at least that is what I was going for - not sure I pulled it off.) All are base game compatible.

So there are 2 canon male LIs that use moisturizer in s4 (Youcef & Tom). Because I'm a season 2 supremacist and you're the season 2 expert, which boys do you think are comfortable enough to use moisturizer or skincare?

season 2 expert = loads of posts with my self indulgent thoughts lol

ibrahim bringing that cocoa butter energy to the villa like it's no one's motherfucking business! elbows and knees always hydrated and he smells like home. he also loves face lotion besides face masks and special soaps (i headcanon he had some skin issues when younger).

bobby steals rahim's cocoa butter all the time, but he's the dude that has a whole ass 18-step-skin care routine and is proud of it. "you should follow my example and fix that brick face of yours." he says while delicately removing his face mask and staring at gary through the mirror.

lucas also has a skin care routine, besides hair and body. i can see him blatantly putting on lotion on his elbows, knees and feet after scrubbing them in the shower, offering it to gary and bobby who are just staring because lucas looks ethereal while doing it, but then they respond with "sure, i'll have some... oooh, smells nice." while making this face:

henrik and his homemade balms. all very fragrant and delicious looking. he has one for each part he likes taking care of, which i think it's face, hands (because calloused hands) and feet. gary and bobby call it "forbidden butter" every time.

noah brings some stuff with him because he learned from a young age how at risk of being ashy he is. not much more than a couple of face products and one for knees/feet/elbows. he might catch a few tips from rahim and lucas because if there's one thing i like picturing is the three of them taking care of their hair/face in the morning, together, lined up in front of the mirror.

gary doesn't bring the energy in but he's certainly leaving with it. bobby is getting on his case about it, calling him 'brick face' until he caves and tries on a mask.

carl = liquid soap + moisturizer, nothing more.

kassam has serums up in this shit. headcanon: he has a baby complexion and everyone is kind of jealous of how smooth feeling and looking his face is. i reckon he bonds with lucas after finding each other opening a separate part of the cupboard and grabbing all the skin care they brought in:

jakub has a routine as well, but just like his route, i don't care about it. graham never heard of it. arjun and elijah would also be the types that have an entire mini case of skin care products. felix is a toddler and barely washes his face.

on expeditions – sasha tries to stay independent and focus on her own tasks and duties, but it’s hard to not worry about you in the heat of the moment. the feeling is mutual. you run into each other’s arms when you reunite safe behind the walls and hug each other a little tighter, grateful to still have each other amidst all the loss and grief. honey you’ve got a big storm coming

you go out for drinks and drunk sasha will do karaoke. always abba. she’s embarrassing but in the way that makes you love her so much more.

doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and takes about ten minutes to get ready when you go out. however, she really likes when you sit on her lap and do her makeup or pamper her with skincare.

Who’s the cuddler: Both!! Eren and I both adore physical touch, so we're always cuddling, holding hands, linking pinkies... it's sweet and always makes my heart go uwu <3

Who wakes up first: Me. Eren's the type to always ask for "five more minutes..." but sleeps for another 30mins, so I always have to drag him up >:(

Who has the weird taste in music: Eren! He loves discovering new music while I'm a stick-in-the-mud creature of habit xD He has a lot of different playlists saved in his Spotify account.

Who is more protective: Me. Of course Eren's really protective of me too, but let's say if we got served the wrong order, I'm the vocal one and Eren hides behind me to watch.

Who sings in the shower: Eren. He watches anime while showering and always sings the opening to let me know he's in the toilet, and he sings the ending to tell me he's done.

Who cries during movies: ME!! Eren's stubborn and refuses to ADMIT that he's touched and teary-eyed. He secretly wipes his eyes and thinks I did not catch him doing it 🤭

Who spends the most while out shopping: Eren. He has no self control!!!! He just buys whatever he wants and I have to tell him all the time that money isn't infinite hahaha.

Who kisses more roughly: Eren. Our kisses always start of with a peck on the lips. Eren always leans in for more, and he ends up with one hand cradling my head and another grabbing my ass. Lol.

Who is more dominant: If you're basing it off S1-S3 Eren... then me. But S4 Eren?!??!?!?!? That sexy hottie and take the lead all the way mhmmm.

Who’s the cuddler: Pieck!!! Pieck opens her arms and Pokko gets the hint, he gives her all the hugs and cuddles she wants <3

Who makes the bed: Pieck. Making the bed is her favourite routine of the morning other than skincare. Porco helps her sometimes but they end up pillow fighting, so Pieck banned him from making the bed.

Who wakes up first: Pieck! She wakes up early in the morning, goes for a morning jog or does yoga/pilates, and gets breakfast for herself and Porco. When she comes home, Porco would be awake, washed up, and the dining table is prepared.

Who has the weird taste in music: Porco. He loves listening to Dubstep, EDM and such, but Pieck finds them too loud and noisy. Porco also likes to purposely make up his own nonsensical lyrics and sing them to annoy Pieck.

Who is more protective: Porco. He may joke a lot but if someone gives Pieck shit, he makes sure they suffer. Pieck is strong and independent, but Porco never lets her face hardships alone.

Who sings in the shower: Porco. Pieck does it too but she lightly hums. Porco on the other hand thinks he's having a concert and the toiletries are his audience.

Who cries during movies: Porco. He's actually a softie and gets emotional at little touching plots of the movie.

Who spends the most while out shopping: Who spends the most money? Porco. Who spends the most time? Pieck. Porco splurges when he's shopping. Pieck is an undecisive shopper and always asks Porco for his opinion.

Who kisses more roughly: Porco. I wouldn't say he's rough, but he's a passionate kisser. The kind that makes you crave for more. Their kisses always ends off in a dip <3

Who is more dominant: Porco. He is more dominant, but he listens well to Pieck. He let's her take the lead sometimes too and he loves it.

Cloud x Tifa (Basing them off ff7r and Advent Children where Cloud and Tifa and living together with Marlene and Denzel!!)

Who’s the cuddler: Hmm. I don't think the both of them are the physical type. They don't really cuddle but they hold hands and link pinkies. But Tifa usually initiates the hug (refer to Tifa's revelation in ff7r ch 14 🥺💕)

Who makes the bed: Tifa! She makes sure the bed is properly made and checks to make sure Marlene and Denzel are doing it too. On certain days, Cloud makes the bed.

Who wakes up first: Tifa. She's an early riser, and once she's done washing up she immediately heads to the bar and begins preparations. Cloud wakes up slightly after, has his breakfast, and starts his day doing deliveries.

Who has the weird taste in music: None. They both are pretty conservative in their music choices. Cloud doesn't really listen to music that much either, and Tifa listen to instrumentals like bossa nova and jazz all the time while at Seventh Heaven.

Who is more protective: Both. They're protective and fierce in their own way. Tifa can literally kick ass, but sometimes she forgets to care for herself, so Cloud does that job. Tifa never wants to lose anyone close to her anymore, so she protects them with her life (Advent Children anyone? Where Tifa was protecting Marlene while fighting Loz?).

Who sings in the shower: None. They not a fan of playing music while showering.

Who cries during movies: Good question. I think they both don't really cry per se, but they get teary eyed. Tifa's nose gets a little blocked and Cloud secretly wipes his tears without Tifa noticing.

Who spends the most while out shopping: Once again, it depends. Cloud spends money on motorcycle parts, Tifa spends on daily expenses, for the bar, for the two kids.

Who kisses more roughly: Cloud. You see the way Cloud hugged Tifa so hard in Tifa's revelation and she told Cloud he's hurting her? Sometimes my boy doesn't realise how much innate strength he has lol. Of course he doesn't mean to hurt Tifa, but Cloud is on the rougher side hehe.

Who is more dominant: Tifa. I stand by this. The way she argued with Cloud in Advent Children is basically a domestic argument between a husband and wife. And the wife always has the final word. So Tifa gets the final word <3

My rating of the ship from 1-10: 10/10 because nothing can change my mind that Cloti isn't canon, and Cloti ain't real 💖

Zack x Aerith

Who’s the cuddler: Zack!!!! He's such an affectionate person, he loves cuddling. Aerith runs towards him, Zack catches her with open arms and swings her around in a big hug.

Who makes the bed: Aerith. She loves keeping the bed tidy. Zack makes the bed together with her too.

Who wakes up first: Zack. Soldier boy wakes up early to exercise and probably walk their dogs. He lets Aerith lie in and prepares breakfast for her.

Who has the weird taste in music: I guess Aerith? She's really fun and outgoing, and definitely meets lots of people while selling her flowers. Her patrons introduce her to lots of different music genres too and she shares them with Zack.

Who is more protective: Zack. He's a SOLDIER, the best of the best out there. Who else can protect his beloved other than him? People wouldn't dare piss him off though, look at his muscles and his Buster Sword.

Who sings in the shower: They both do. They sometimes sing duets together while one is showering.

Who cries during movies: Hmm. I guess both!! They both cry, look at each other's crying faces, and end up giggling. They wipe each other's tears, and Zack hugs Aerith while they continue watching the movie.

Who spends the most while out shopping: Zack. He spoils Aerith too much. He buys her anything she likes.

Who kisses more roughly: Zack. Zack and Aerith are two passionate beings, their kisses are always rough and eager, but they always end with a smile and Zack gently kisses her forehead.

Who is more dominant: Both of them! Zack usually takes the lead but Aerith can be a switch too. She's feisty and Zack goes wild when Aerith is in charge.

jonathan uses 3-in-1 i know this for a fact i also know that he’s never heard of a skincare routine and he washes his face with regular bar soap. he’s a very clean person like he showers regularly and everything he just basically uses the most shitty abrasive products known to man even when he does have the money to get nice stuff. sometimes he thinks he should try to be fancy and do the self care thing but then he’s like mmm that lotion is $2 kinda steep idk about that :/ he and steve become friends and within like a month steve is like hey man my mom got me this shampoo and conditioner and leave-in conditioner and hair gel and face wash and moisturizer and sunscreen for uhhhh doing the yardwork but this stuff is all like TOTALLY wrong for my hair and skin type so i was wondering if you could use it it’ll all just go to waste otherwise :) and jonathan KNOWS what steve is doing and he’s offended but he isn’t offended as a poor person like he’s offended as a dumb boy being given all these products he doesn’t know what the fuck to do with bc he's like how did steve know i don’t own moisturizer... can he just tell from looking at me.... does everyone know i don’t own moisturizer or is steve just a preppy little bloodhound....

unpopular opinion

maybe this is not an unpopular opinion but i really truly believe that jonathan kissing nancy and sleeping with her in s2 was out of character and just bad writing. like... like i get it okay? i get that they were going for this thing where there’s just pent-up tension and he just decides to screw the consequences and go for it. but jonathan had literally spent the past YEAR ignoring his crush on nancy and he’d spent the past couple of days specifically worrying about steve’s feelings and encouraging nancy to talk to him, and reminding nancy that she and steve are together when she asks why she and jonathan aren’t together/closer. like i KNOW they showed him hyping himself up and chickening out a lot before he finally did it but i don’t think jonathan held himself back from making a move on nancy out of fear yknow i think he held himself back out of respect for nancy and steve and their relationship and i don’t think anything meaningful really... changed between the night in the hotel room and the night at murray’s. nothing significant enough to change jonathan’s moral views on the situation. obviously, murray talked to them, but i think that’s such a weak justification and so far in the show jonathan really has not been the sort to just go along and do something because somebody tells him he should, ESPECIALLY if that somebody is some random guy he doesn’t even know!! in fact, NOT listening to the shit people tell him he should do is kinda his whole thing!! there’s just no goddamn reason for him to have made the first move there and i think it shouldn’t have happened, or at the very least nancy should have made the first move or they should have done something to give jonathan a clear change of heart.

so yeah i just have really strong opinions about the characterization of a character who’s like super inconsistent bc 70% of the time he’s just used as a plot device anyway.
