random college!abby hcs
more!college abby
warnings: mentions of sex, drinking, drugs, and nudity, cursing, mild hint homophobia
first things first: jerry is alive and abby is his pride and joy
i'm serious... her mom died when she was a toddler and jerry hasn't had a long-term relationship since, so he's the only parental figure that she has
he took every precaution while raising her to make sure she always had everything she could ever need while also making sure that she didn't end up being an entitled brat
otherwise, she is very close with both of her father's siblings (her aunt is the only maternal relationship she has and definitely relied on her for all of her personal issues as a teenager), has a good relationship with jerry's mother and step-father
her mother was an only child, but her parents always come over for thanksgiving and even christmas sometimes
she was very supportive of her father taking in yara and lev after she moved out. she knew he was suffering from a severe case of empty nest syndrome. she def makes them feel so welcome right away like those strangers became her siblings in a matter of minutes
i'll only say it once ppl: OLD MONEY
jk i'll say it again. the andersons are a long line of surgeons and doctors so obvi they're gonna be well off
like, not "fund a research facility to get my kid into college" rich, they're more "i casually have a summer home, a ski chalet, and a ridiculously nice house to live in year round" rich.
her only real relationship was in high school (trigger warning: it was owen)
our bby had a bad case of comphet as a teenager
like fr she had not even considered the fact that she might be gay until she was two knuckles deep in some sorority girl during a party in her freshman year
after that she sort of just accepted it, she had no concern of her dad bc obviously he would be so accepting and supportive, but a few of her relatives def had an issue with it right off the bat (old money, old values)
she's been friends with manny, nora, owen, and mel since middle school, and the only one whose view of her seemed to change was owen (and mel too ig bc she stopped seeing abby as such a threat)
he drunkenly questioned her about it once, saying something super gross and along the lines of "you didn't seem gay when we were together"
to which she responded by offering him two choices; he could sit down and shut up or she would knock him tf out
he's cooled it since then but everyone knows that he still has a big fat crush on her so he still wants to believe he has a chance (even tho he was literally already talking to mel before they broke up and announced they were together only a few days after)
she's pre-med, majoring in bio and minoring in something totally different like classical lit or history or something
she's gonna end up being an orthopedic surgeon but later on in her career i can see her turning to teaching at a university or something
like doctor!abby turned prof!abby???? omg
is very health conscious
she's a gym rat, this we already know
she also takes her diet very seriously as well, but always has a secret stash of junk for when she really needs it
also careful with her alcohol/drug intake
she drinks on occasion (birthday, christmas, new years, etc, etc) but usually not very much (will almost always be sober enough to be the sober driver if need be)
she refuses to do any drugs during lacrosse season. she's so strict with her diet during the season that she won't ingest anything other than quality, nutritious food. she also needs to submit a drug test a few times per season so she doesn't wanna risk it.
in the off season, she's more willing to have a puff or two at a party or take an edible before a movie night or something (i don't see her doing any drug other than weed)
she lived with manny during her freshman and sophomore years
they had a shitty little apartment a few minutes away from campus
it was the only one that manny could afford on a student budget, and he refused abby's offer to get a nicer apartment and let her pay a larger portion of the rent than he did
they still had fun either way
manny loved having another person he could talk about girls with (he was initially gonna move in with owen but then he got ditched for mel)
every sunday morning they would get takeout for breakfast so manny could recount his night with the girl that had snuck out only a few hours earlier
she was a little hesitant to join in and share her own stories, but she finally got more comfortable in talking to him about it (RESPECTFULLY!!!!!!! she was so scared that she was gonna end up sounding like a literally disgusting pig but she keeps the details to a minimum and only says nice things unless the girl was a major bitch)
she's a lululemon/gymshark girly. her go-to style is definitely any variation of athlesiure. she wears lots of joggers, dry-fit tops, and the cleanest pair of white sneakers you'll ever see
underneath, i'm picturing her as more of a bralette type of girl. obviously she wears a sports bra to the gym, but on a regular basis, she likes wearing bralettes over bras bc she doesn't need that much support so they offer just enough without the discomfort of a bra
i'm settling the debate rn everyone, college!abby wears boxers AND panties
she finds boxers more comfortable on a day to day basis, but she likes wearing cheekies and thongs especially when she's wearing leggings
so dorky
she was definitely a sci-fi/fantasy kid
she grew up on harry potter, lord of the rings, star wars, etc etc
would love a partner who would watch them with her and actually enjoy it
unironically makes gym thirst traps on tiktok
her followers always comment supportive things like: looking good!, major gainssss, muscle mommy come destroy this pu-
still wears the iconic braid, but usually only when she's on the field. she occasionally wears her hair down, but i hc that she still likes to wear her hair pulled back in a cute little braided ponytail or a messy low bun
when she's older SHE CUTS HER HAIR OMG OMG OMG like literally i'm purring rn
like ik you've all seen that edit of her with super short hair omg she's so hot
in her junior year she decided to live on her own
manny moved in with jordan, who had been begging him for a while since the rent was more than he could handle on his own, though manny's rent would actually be cheaper than it was in his apartment with abby
they still do their traditions tho, still having sunday breakfast, still going to the campus pub on fridays for trivia, still going to the gym together on wednesdays...
they're actually besties i love them
when she's on her period, she craves salty foods
is so frustratingly confident in her emotions
will always try to diffuse the situation and pissing the other person off with her calmness
takes really good care of her skin
her favourite drink is diet cranberry gingerale
she's a dog person, but she would definitely enjoy having a cat around too
adopts a rescue dog a few weeks after finishing her residency
uses old spice fiji body wash and deodorant (SHE SMELLS SO FUCKING GOOD) and a musky vanilla body spray
likes to feel and be clean, but isn't too fussed about her body hair so long as it looks tidy. she isn't anti shaving, and will probably make an effort to shave more regularly in the early stages of a relationship until she's more confident and comfortable around the person
NSFW
down-there hair? duh
like i said, she likes to keep things tidy so she'll trim and maybe shave her bikini line if she's feeling it but that's it. she's not fussed with body hair, whether it's her or her partner's
again, she'll make an effort to keep herself looking neat and tidy for the first bit of a relationship but after a few weeks she's not afraid to go full-bush when she doesn't wanna shave
she doesn't love penetration. fingers are one thing, but she has only had not-so-great experiences with sex that involved a penis-like object. she'd wanna be the one wearing the strap for the most part, but she'd be willing to try it again with the right person
slow and passionate sex >>>>>
considers herself to be very vanilla but she's actually kinda kinkyyyyy (she gets so embarrassed and blushy when anyone calls her out for it)
she prefers scissoring to using her strap (but she LOVES her strap)
she doesn't like to choke her partners, but she will reach her hand up and just hold their throat while they're fucking
she's always so sensitive
came in like thirty seconds during her first time with another girl
she's noiiiiisssyyyyyyyy
she usually starts out with just heavy panting breaths, then they turn into deep grunts, then she begins to whine from low in her throat, and finally she begins to gasp out words of praise or curses
she squirts teehee
like i said she's always so sensitive, so if she's any ways worked up when someone's going down on her they better watch out bc they're in the splash zone
her strap is purple and sparkly
abby anderson eats ass
her nipples are super sensitive too
not really nsfw but she really loves casual nudity with her partners, changing in front of each other, hopping in the shower together, using the bathroom with the other person in the room...
she's a boob girl. doesn't matter if they're big, small, saggy, or perky, she just wants to suck them
when she's on top, she likes to pull her partner's leg over her shoulder and will just start like trailing kisses along the length of their calf
she's a literal munch
will use it to her advantage too
tells her partner she'll go down on them if they finish their assignments

masterlist here
--------------------
You wake on graduation day with a knot in your stomach and you know exactly why. The text you received last night. You pick up your phone, eyes scanning the brief message and sighing deeply.
[MOM]Just got in. See you at the ceremony tomorrow. Be sure to wear the dress.
You look over at that ridiculous dress, a totem of innocence and purity and you want to laugh. Innocent? Pure? What a joke. If only she knew the photos of Joel you have on your phone, or the absolutely depraved things you’ve done with him.
As if you’ve summoned him, a text comes through.
[HIM 💜] Can’t wait to see you, bby.
You smile at your phone.  You can almost hear his deep voice, the rasping purr.
Can’t wait to see you! xoxoxoxox
Though after the stress of seeing my parents I’m gonna need a massage.
[HIM 💜] Deep tissue? Swedish? Internal?
Oooh Deep Tissue followed by internal please. Lol.
Sarah wakes soon after positively vibrating with excitement.
"I can't wait to see Charlie!" She shouts, jumping up out of bed. "And I can't wait to travel this summer!"
You force a smile but you can't deny you're envious about Sarah's summer. Yours is bound to be a solitary one living back with your parents.  You need to get a job back home to help pay for school in the fall.
Perhaps Joel will come and visit you back home once in a while? Or perhaps tonight will be your last rendezvous? It's hard to think of how it can continue, despite what Joel says. He can't exactly come over and meet the parents can he? And your parents will likely have a very close hold on you, wanting to introduce you to the right people, trying to convince you to switch your Masters degree for something more profitable.
Despite how well off your parents are they have made it clear from the start that you'll make your own way in the world. But that’s fine by you because you have scholarships and you’re a hard worker. Living at home means saving up money. Saving up money means moving out away from them.
But until then, it’s long, solitary days back in Chicago with your family.
Sarah gives a stretch before falling onto your bed with an oof. She sits, knees touching yours and smiling broadly.
“We’re almost graduates!”
“I know!”
And funnily enough out of everything with your parents, it’s not that which upsets you the most. It’s the fact that will be no Sarah to look forward to in the fall. No more giggled nights over cheap beer or joined study sessions helping the other make flash cards.
She’s become a touchstone to you. A person whose Snapchat's and text messages through the summers made life bearable when your parents were too much for you. Whose soup delivered to your beside during sick days at school made you feel taken care of. The roommate who dragged you to parties to make you socialize and subsequently introduced you to Conrad, who for a short while made you very happy.
Without Sarah you don’t know who you would be today.
"I'm going to miss you so much," Sarah says gently, her large eyes teary.
"Same here," you say, trying to swallow the tremor in your voice.
"I can't believe we're just gonna suddenly not live together," she says, chin wobbling and the sight of it makes it impossible to stop the tears that slip down your cheeks.
“I know,” you say and now the tears are free flowing and the words you’ve never voiced come out wobbly. “I’ve never had a friend like you. A best friend.”
Sarah lets out a choked sob and the two of you collapse into a sniffling hug that makes your heart swell. You finally pull back long enough to brush the tears from your eyes, the two of you laughing at how emotional you both are.
"You're gonna be traveling all over South America all summer," you remind her with a watery smile. "You won't have time to miss me."
"I will so!" Sarah insists with a friendly push to your shoulder. “I’m gonna get you something really nice too!”
When you put on the white dress later that morning you're struck that you're the vision of chaste. The lace sleeves, the ruffles, the high neckline. It gratifies you greatly when you pull on the most scandalous panties you own, red completely see through. They tie at the hips and they barely cover anything.
You pull them up over your hips and lower the dress over them. The fabric is so thick they can't be seen, but you will.
And soon Joel will too.
///
By the time the ceremony starts hours later you're almost shaking with nerves under your robe and mortarboard. The rasp of the dresses ruffles at the shoulder make you twitch.
Sarah is seated next to you, her eyes scanning behind you. You know she's looking for Joel and Charlie. You already spotted your parents near the back of the large auditorium looking as dour and bored as they always have.
"Oop there he is!" Sarah murmurs as the Provost drones on at the podium. You glance at her before you allow your eyes to drift in the direction she's looking. And there he is, seated beside a beaming Charlie, is Joel.
Your Joel.
He's so handsome you could cry. His hair is longer and curled, looking so soft you want to leap out of your seat to run your fingers through it. He's wearing a button down and he's grinning at both you and Sarah. When she turns around to face the speaker Joel casts you a sly wink that has you flushing.
You feel his eyes on you through most of the ceremony, and when you go up after to collect your diploma you hear his clapping and shouting of your name over the crowd. To anyone else he looks like the supportive parent of his daughter’s friend. But when you cast your eyes into the crowd and see his beaming smile, you feel the pride from where you stand on the stage.
Soon enough the ceremony is over and you and Sarah are official graduates. You give her a tight hug after you toss your caps into the air. You both give yelps as the caps fly around you, laughing as you find yours before handing her the one next to it on the ground.
"Gonna go find my dad," she tells you as you give her one final squeeze. You nod watching her rush through the bustling array of people in search of the man you cannot wait to hold and kiss. You slip through the crowd until you find your parents still seated and looking at the passing crowds with distaste.
You take a deep breath, swallowing before you approach them with a tentative smile.
"Hello Mom, Dad."
The two of them stand simultaneously, giving you a once over before your mother gives you a detached embrace. She’s likely trying to see if you’re wearing the dress she insisted upon. Your father pats your shoulder companionably.
"Congratulations," he tells you with a thin smile. "Graduation with honors."
"Thank you," you say, surprised with the compliment.
"Not valedictorian," he reminds you quickly. "But I suppose there was lots of competition."
Your mother says nothing and you just nod, wanting this interaction to be over as quickly as possible. You notice now that your father is holding a small wooden box with a bow on it. He thrusts it at you.
"Take this and be sure to take care of it."
"Yes sir," you nod, taking the small box from him. You open it up to see an ornate fountain pen sitting on the velvet. "It's beautiful. Thank you."
It’s hideous and nothing like your style. You don’t even write by hand anymore unless it’s for the word jumble. Just another example of how little your parents know about you.
"We'll go to dinner," your mother tells you. "Afterwards we'll collect your things and you can come to the hotel with us. Our flight is first thing in the morning."
“Oh, I thought I was going to spend one more night here at the dorms,” you say, a bit of panic coursing through you. “To finish up packing and everything.”
That had been the plan. You and Joel would have dinner with your families and then meet up at the hotel he sent you. You can’t do that if you’re with your fucking parents at some fancy hotel near the airport.
“That’s a waste of time and I don’t want to be late for the airport,” your mother says with a frown. “You were to have finished packing last night.”
“I underestimated how much I had to pack,” you defer, trying not to sound as concerned as you feel. “I’ll take a taxi to the airport early tomorrow, I promise. I won’t hold you up.”
Your mother goes to deny this request but your father holds up a hand, making her flinch.
“If she’s paying for her taxi who are we to tell her no?” your father says with a shrug. “Let her.”
Your mother silently stews, shaking her head in a short nod. This entire scene is simply a precursor to what awaits you this summer. Their strained marriage, your strained relationship with them. It’s a nightmare.
Moving back home feels both terrifying and humiliating all in one. You hated being under their thumb, but you can't afford rent and school. And despite what they say, you want to pursue your schooling. It makes you happy. It's a small sacrifice to secure your future.
You nod, head held low. It jerks up when you hear your name being called. You glance over your shoulder.
Fuck.
You feel your anxiety grow when Sarah, Charlie and Joel approach.
'I'm so glad that's over!" Sarah says with a laugh. "I don't want to think about how many people wore this gown before me."
You smirk at this before turning to your grim -faced parents.
"You know Sarah," you say to your them, noting that Joel hangs back a moment, watching the scene.
"Of course, hello Sarah," your mom says as your dad gives a tight smile to your roommate. They've seen Sarah plenty of times in the background of your sporadic video calls home.
"This is her boyfriend, Charlie," you say and the shy Charlie offers a timid wave in reply. Your father is looking over Charlie, noting the slump of his shoulders, the shy way he doesn’t make eye contact. You’re positive they’ll have something scathing to say about him during dinner.
You notice Joel staring at you and then your parents. You try to hold back the flush starting at your cheekbones. His hands are at his side and he finally approaches the group, his eyes on your parents.
"Uh, and this is her dad, Mister Miller," you say softly, unable to make eye contact with him. For some pathetic reason you want this to go well. You want them to love Joel as much as you do.
"It's Joel, sir, ma'am," Joel says, all southern manners as he shakes each of their hands. He brushes by you to do so and you can't help but inhale his cologne, dark and spicy.
"Pleasure to meet you," your mother says with a quick once over of what Joel's wearing. When she sees no obvious designer labels you can tell she's already written him off.
Your dad however is intrigued by Joel's appearance, being the only other man in a group of women. He gravitates towards Joel with a little smile on his face.
"So what do you do, Joel?"
"I run a renovation business with my brother," Joel answers with an easy smile that shows his dimple. You melt. He’s so fucking gorgeous. Your father gives a look of clear disapproval at his answer.
"Just the two of you?"
"Ten years ago it was just the two of us and now we oversee a staff of twenty," Joel answers breezily able to overlook your father's open judgment.  He’s a humble man, not one prone to bragging. But you know what he’s trying to do, to disarm your parents, to make them like him. And the thought of why he’s doing that has your stomach spinning delightedly.
"Self made man, I respect that," your dad says nodding and you have to stop yourself so you don't beam with pride over at Joel.
"S'how I was raised," Joel shrugs with humility.
"Same here," your dad says with an approving nod. "Built up my law firm from nothing. Now we're one of the biggest in Chicago."
"Impressive," Joel says even though you know he couldn't care less.
His eyes dart to you briefly before landing back on your father. He’s likely noticing how different you are from your parents. They’re all cold, serious calculation while you are smiles and blushes and easy affection.
"Wish you boyfriend took a page for Joel's book here," your dad says with a look in your direction. "That Conrad was raised with a silver spoon firmly lodged in his mouth."
The smile you had on your face falls immediately. You feel your hackles rise up when it feels like all eyes suddenly drift over to you.
Why are they still bringing up Conrad?
"Conrad and I broke up months ago."
"That's what you said at Christmas too," your mother says with a sniff, digging through her purse for her lipstick. "Then by January it was on again."
Your jaw clenches tightly. This is a classic family maneuver, making you feel insecure in your decisions.
"I'm sure you two will find yourselves back in each other's arms soon enough," your father says not bothering to hide his displeasure at the thought. He covers it with a false laugh that your mother smiles politely at.
"I can promise you I won't," you say with a tone bordering on a growl. You're just thankful you haven't seen Conrad at graduation all day.
"I sure hope not," Joel murmurs surprising you all. Even Sarah glances over at this in surprise and you feel Joel's panic. His eyes widen a fraction before his mouth curls into a displeased line and he shrugs.
"Just from what I heard from Sarah I think you deserve much better."
Sarah shoots you an apologetic expression to which you reply with an an embarrassed half shrug. You’re not upset that she talks about you with him. If anything it’s sort of sweet.
"Anyway I better be gettin,' Sarah and Charlie here out to dinner," Joel says taking your hand in his a moment. "Happy graduation to you."
You feel your heart flutter, willing the blush in your cheeks to die down.
"Thanks, Mister Miller."
He gives you a subtle wink before bidding farewell to your parents. Sarah pulls you in for another tight hug.
"Promise me you'll come out and visit me when I get back."
Your eyes fly to Joel behind her shoulder for only a moment before you're nodding and smiling back at her.
"Definitely."
“If she’s not busy playing around in school that is,” your father laughs from behind you before turning his attention on your roommate. “Sarah, you were studying… what again?”
“Computer Sciences,” Sarah answers hesitantly.
“A good career path,” your dad continues, despite everyone in the vicinity being uncomfortable. “Much better than Anthropology. Might as well be Philosophy for all the decent paying jobs it’ll get you.”
Your eyes are wet before you can stop them. You cringe visibly, gaze on the ground as they always are when your parents are around. They have the uncanny ability to make you feel so impossibly worthless, so misunderstood, so unseen for who you truly are.
You can’t even look at Joel you’re so ashamed. You must look so pathetic to everyone.
"Sarah why don't you and Charlie go get the car," Joel murmurs to her with a gentle smile as he hands her the keys to his rental car. "I'll be there in a sec."
Sarah shoots her dad an inscrutable look before shrugging and taking Charlie's hand and Joel's keys. She casts a worried look at your face before she breaks from your group. You watch them disappear into the crowd before your eyes draw back to Joel and suddenly the levity from his face is gone.
He steps towards your parents, dropping his voice. This is a Joel you rarely run into. An angry Joel that’s quiet voice is more terrifying than a shout or scream. The quieter he gets the more nervous you become and right now his voice is a soft purr.
"Now I'm normally not one to tell a man how to speak to his kid, but you're being downright shameful to yours."
Your stomach swoops in both elation and terror. You want to kiss Joel senseless for sticking up for you, but seeing your dad's brows rise has you staring between both of them in shock.
“What did you just say?” your father asks, convinced he’s heard incorrectly.
“I said you're talkin’ to your daughter shamefully,” Joel says speaking slowly and enunciating as if your father is slow. Your mother gives a small gasp at this, her hand going to your father’s shoulder. He shakes it off, his face pinking all over as he glares at Joel.
"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Your dad seethes.
Your dad takes a step towards Joel, used to people backing down from him at work. But this isn't his law office and Joel has a good three inches on him, not to mention biceps and broad shoulders that would easily pummel your father to dust.
He pauses when Joel steps forward as well, your boyfriend not backing down a fraction.
"Sarah's known your girl for years and we had the pleasure of having her to ours this Christmas," Joel tells your father, looking thunderous. "She's a delight."
"Not so delightful for her parents," your mother chimes in. "You wouldn't understand Mister Miller. Your daughter clearly has ambitions and-"
"And yours doesn't?" Joel bites back. "Sarah told me she wants to be a professor."
Sarah told him no such thing. It was you who told him during your time together. He looks over at you, concerned that he got that incorrect.
"That right?"
"Yeah," you nod, trying not to smile. Joel looks back at your parents and his gaze turns cold again.
"'Side from that, your daughter is smart and talented and funny as hell," Joel sneers at your parents. "And that's nothing compared to her warmth and her heart. And now that I've met you both I don't know where the fuck she got that from."
You are officially fucking Joel Miller's brains out later. Right after you stop the tears pricking the back of your eyes.
"She doesn't need people like you in her life," Joel continues and you know he's saying this part for your benefit despite glaring at your parents. "She's a strong, independent woman that doesn't need anythin' other than herself. And if you both don't get your heads straight, she's gonna walk right outta your life and never look back and it’ll be your loss."
Your parents can only stare at him and your father, always so quick with a harsh comment or jab is silent. His face is so red it's almost mauve. His hands are at fists at his side. Your mother looks like she's about to faint.
You however feel as if your heart is overflowing with your love for Joel in this moment.
Joel turns his eyes on you and you pray no one can see the burning passion he holds for you in that gaze because it seems so obvious to you.
"You wanna grab dinner with us?" Joel asks you, jaw clenched. You know he desperately wants to hold you, to bring you into his arms.
"No it's okay," you tell him with a gentle smile. "You have fun with Sarah and Charlie."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
You see the concern in his dark eyes, the searing depths of his affection. But he's aware that you know your own mind and so he just nods, giving you a small smirk before he's heading away from you.
"Take care."
The second he's out of earshot your parents are tripping over themselves to talk.
"That rude man!"
"Uneducated idiot."
"Did you see what he was wearing? And the way he spoke? Positively barbaric," your mother spits, readjusting the purse on her shoulder and shooting you a levelling look.
Joel’s broad shoulders are disappearing into the crowd, but as if he can feel your gaze he turns. He sees your eyes searching for him and he darts his gaze to your parents, seeing they’re both facing you. He gives you a gentle smile and wink and then he’s gone, leaving you warm and strangely emboldened.
"I don't want you anywhere near that family."
You turn to face your parents who are still fuming about Joel and for some reason you suddenly see them for what they truly are.
Small.
Joel made them small. So small that it seems foolish you were ever afraid of them at all. So small that is laughable to think that they have any control over your life. You owe them nothing. They give you nothing but pain and a love that is built on toxicity.
And suddenly it's so easy to sever that tie between you and them.
"Enough about that horrible man," your father grumbles. "Dinner reservations are-"
"I'm going back to my dorm," you inject with a smile, feeling strangely light. "You two enjoy dinner."
"Excuse me?" Your father is exasperated with everything that has gone on. You see it in the tired look he’s giving you. “Since when?”
"I don't want to have dinner with you," you tell them, unable to stop your smiling from growing. "Either of you. So you two go on. Enjoy."
You've never spoken back to them like this. Never with this serene calm, this positively cheerful countenance. You feel your phone vibrate in your purse and you just know it’s a message from Joel. The thought makes it even easier to stand there staring them down.
Your parents gape at you as the crowd of students mills past, looking at your beaming face. It's your father that speaks first.
"This disrespect you're showing your mother and I is disgusting," he spits. "Your sister-"
"Heather isn't here," you tell them so sharply they wince. "And I'm sick of being compared to her."
You've never mentioned Heather’s name to them. Not in all the years since your sisters death. You've felt too guilty, too scared.
But no more.
"Hey now," your dad begins, his face falling. "We never-"
"I'll never be Heather and that's fine because I'm me," you say over him. "And I don't need the two of you trying to tell me that's a bad thing."
They both stare at you, your mother's jaw is actually dropped, almost cartoonishly so. You realize that this is it between you and them. They brought you into the world and they've made you regret it ever since. They’ve punished you for surviving that car crash instead of Heather. You're done with them.
You thrust the pen and the wooden box it came in back at your father. He takes it in slow shock, as if what's happening is a dream.
"So go enjoy your dinner," you tell them. "And have a safe trip back."
You take the phone from your purse as you stride from them. They call your name but you ignore them, your eyes are already on the text from Joel.
[HIM 💜]: Same hotel as last time. Room #461. Give your name at the front desk. Come when you can. Can’t wait to hold you, beautiful girl.

You sit at the bar of the hotel a short while later. Your overnight bag is at your feet and you're still wearing that stupid dress front your parents because you wanted to rush over here. You'd been so desperate to see Joel, to feel his arms around you, his mouth on your flesh.
But then as you strode into the hotel and saw the trendy looking bar you decided that a drink was necessary. A celebration for how you stood up to your parents. And then something Joel said months ago tickled the back of your brain. A comment that has stayed with you.
“Do you think we could pretend for this week? That I'm not married, that you're not my daughter's friend? That we met in a bar one night and found each other attractive and just wanted to spend time together gettin' to know one another?”
You smile as you sit at the bar; legs crossing before you order a gin martini from the bored looking bartender. You pull out your phone, typing hurriedly amongst the chatting patrons and jazzy music over the speakers.
I’m at the bar downstairs.
[HIM 💜] ??
Come down. Dress nice. Xx
Joel walks into the dimly lit bar minutes later, his eyes traveling the length of the space until they get to your face. The smile that breaks out nearly makes you faint at the sight. But you maintain your composure, pretending you don’t notice him until he’s right beside you.
He’s so close you can smell his freshly applied aftershave and the soap he used to wash this morning
“Hey bab-“
"That seat is free for now,” you say coolly pointing to the leather stool next to you. Joel gives you a confused smile, crooked and endearing.
“Huh?”
“Look like my date is running late," you tell him in a flat voice, taking a sip of your drink.
Joel looks a bit offended at your cool tone and lack of smile.
"But perhaps you could keep me company until he arrives."
Joel's mouth curves into a smirk as he catches onto the little game. His eyes dip down the length of your body before he backs up a few paces. He adopts a more seductive look, his eyelids lowering a fraction.
"Hello there, my name's Joel Miller," he replies in a husky purr as he takes the seat next to you at the bar. "And you are quite possibly the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen."
"I accept the compliment Mister Miller," you say with a calm nod, trying not to giggle at the characters you're both playing. You want to play this out as long as possible. There’s something hot about the people around you not knowing you two are together.
"Call me Joel," he replies gently. He holds his hand to you and you take it, noting how warm his tender grip is, how sweetly he rubs your knuckles with his thumb before gently dropping your hand when you pull back.
"Alright Joel," you reply breathlessly. “Pleased to meet you.”
“Pleasure’s all mine,” Joel assures you, eyes raking up and down your form before settling on your eyes. “Pardon me for sayin’, but your date is a fool to let a woman as gorgeous as you sit here alone for more than a second."
“Quite forward of you,” you say with a cool raise of your brow, trying to suppress your smirk. The bartender comes over and takes Joel’s order, quickly sliding him a whisky before going to attend to the other patrons.
“So what’s a beautiful woman like you do for fun?”  Joel inquires, taking a sip of his drink.
"Oh I haven’t had much time for fun. My day today was especially taxing," you tell him, swirling the toothpick and olive in your martini glass in what you hope is a seductive manner.
"Oh yeah?" Joel is practically purring. "Tell me all about it."
"Well, first off, I graduated with honors today."
Joel gives an impressed whistle as if he’s not completely aware. "Sexy and smart? Damn, baby, you're somethin' else."
You grin, feeling your cheeks pink in delight.
"Then my parents started in on me right after the ceremony," you say rolling your eyes. "And just when I was gonna fall apart, my boyfriend just let them have it. He told them off. I've never seen anything like it. My parents just stood there and it was so inspiring that when he left, I told them off too."
"Really?" Joel breathes, his face midway between concern and amusement.
"Mhmm. And it felt amazing. So amazing that I wanted to come to this bar and celebrate." You give Joel a sultry look. "Then you came up to me and well, here we are."
Joel smirks cheekily and you feel his hand come to the back of your bar seat.
"Can I tell you somethin’?" Joel asks, lowering his voice so you have to tilt closer to hear. His full lower lip grazes your earlobe when he speaks. "Every man in this bar is hoping you'll go home with him."
He pulls back, his pupils expanding rapidly. You let your hand fall to his knee, rubbing gently as you give him a grin.
"Oh, I'm very discerning," you say coquettishly. "I won't go home with just any man. He has to be the right type. Older, handsome, smart, sweet... The whole package."
You watch Joel's golden cheeks turn pink at the compliment. He takes a deep pull off his whisky. He leans back in his bar stool, looking at you tenderly.
"So Miss Genius who graduated with honors. What's next for you?"
"I'm starting my Masters in the fall," you say with a proud smile as if Joel wasn't already aware. "Got a really good scholarship too. Just have to work a bit too save up for the rest."
"How're you gonna do that when you're in school?" Joel takes another sip.
"Oh, it's all online," you tell him as you drain your own glass. "A lot of them are now with everyone's schedules and how hard it is to make ends meet."
"It is?" Joel says and you can tell he's dropped a bit of the act. "I didn't know that."
"Yeah I needed it to be online so I can work at the same time," you explain, then your brow furrows as something occurs to you. Joel notices immediately.
"What?"
"Oh it's just... I just realized I also need to find a place to rent," you say more to yourself than anything. The character you've embodied slips away from you and you blink rapidly." My parents sure as fuck won't be welcoming me back with open arms after what I said to them. And even if they did I don't want anything from them."
Joel looks at you a long time, his fingers tracing absently along the bar top. He looks like he wants to say something but he holds back.
"But that's not exactly first meeting in a bar kind of talk," you say, lowering your hand to fall atop his and you let your voice drop to a seductive purr. "Tell me about yourself."
“Whadda ya wanna know, beautiful?”
You cross your legs the other direction, facing him more. You notice his eyes flit to your bared legs and then back to your face.
“Well your accent isn’t from around here so what brings you to our fine city, Joel?”
“Here to watch my daughter graduate,” Joel says with a gentle swirl of his drink. “I’m from Texas.”
“You got anyone special in your life, Texas?”
“I do,” Joel nods, eyes like burning coals. “This girl I’ve been seein’ that I’m just crazy about. Can't get her outta my head."
"The sex must be great," you giggle with cheeks flaming.
"No words," Joel admits with a dimpled grin. "But s'not the sex that does it for me."
"No?"
"Nah," Joel shakes his head. "See, she's real smart. Startin' a Master's degree in the fall."
"Wow."
"She's not just smart," Joel shrugs, taking another pull from the bottle. "She's gorgeous too. Fuckin’ stunning."
He watches your eyes drift to his collar, suddenly shy. This emboldens him, makes him lean closer again until his whisky-soaked breath lands in huffs against your cheek.
"I miss how she smells," Joel continues. "I never told her this but I went to the mall and got a bottle of the perfume she wears. I spray it on my pillow from time to time just to make it feel like she’s there."
"You do not!"
"I do," Joel chuckles. "Never smells the same as when she wears it though."
Shit, you can feel your eyes watering.
"And when I talk to her she's the first person who's really listened. She doesn't just nod and wait for her turn to speak. She's the first partner that's ever really wanted to take care of me."
Partner.
"You're easy to take care of," you murmur. "I assume," you add hastily, not wanting to break character.
"So's she," Joel tells you and his face sobers. "The kinda woman I would die to take care of. But I worry. I'm pretty old-"
"Not old-"
"And she's got a whole future in front of her,” Joel says and the levity is gone from his face. “I worry I’d hold her back from it. Hold her back from a lot.”
It takes all your resolve not to throw yourself into his arms right this second. Instead you give him an impossibly gentle smile, leaning your face closer to his.
“You said this woman is smart,” you reason, feeling your pulse flutter. “I think she knows exactly what she wants. And from what it sounds like, she wants you, Joel.”
Joel gazes at you a few moments, his finger absently tracing the rim of his whisky glass.
"You know you're a beautiful woman," he murmurs in a sultry tone, his eyes lowering seductively. "And this may be forward but I'm staying at this hotel and I'd love to take you to my room."
You smile.
"I'd love that, Joel."
///
You’re in each other’s arms seconds after opening the door to your room. Joel crashes his mouth against your and you leap into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist. He licks into your mouth as he stumbles the two of you towards the bed.
He lowers you gently to the floor, giving a lingering kiss to you before the ruffles of your dress rasping against his shirt distract him.
“Such an innocent looking girl in this dress,” Joel muses, his wide hands sliding down the white fabric as he smiles. “Who’re you tryin’ to fool, baby?”
“I didn’t pick it,” you huff a laugh. “They did.”
The amusement is immediately gone from Joel’s face. Without warning Joel’s hands are at the neckline of your dress. You frown up at him before gasping as he rips the fabric brutally. It tears down the middle, exposing your breasts.
“Joel!”
He turns you around, ripping the skirt from it as well. You’re left in tatters of fabric and you watch as ruffles hit the carpet slowly before looking up at him and laughing. He grins at you, throwing some of the remaining lace fabric in his hands onto the floor.
“Joel,” you laugh loudly. “What the fuck?”
“You don’t have to wear what they tell you to ever again,” he promises you. “You don’t have to listen to another goddam thing they say. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.  You’re your own woman. And when I take you to bed I’m fucking you, sweet girl. Not some virginal doll version of you that they’ve created in their heads.”
You shiver in anticipation as you feel his warm body behind you, still clothed. You feel Joel’s hands come to your waist, holding you.
“My good girl fucks like a champ,” Joel whispers against your ear. “And she loves my cock doesn’t she?”
“Yes,” you sigh.
“She likes fucking in public,” Joel continues, hands coming to cup your breasts from behind. You feel his hips rubbing against your lower back, cock hard and waiting for you. “She gets wet bein’ a bad girl.”
“Fuck, I do,” you whimper, letting Joel take control of your movements as you go boneless against him. “I really do.”
“That’s who I’m taking to bed,” Joel reminds you, pulling the remaining tatters of your clothing off your body until you’re standing in nothing but the red panties you picked out. His eyes are drawn to them, a smirk bleeding over his face.
“And look at that,” he says as his hands slip down the front. “She’s already wet for me.”
“Always.”
He kneels in front of you and unties your panties at the hip, groaning appreciatively as they flutter to the ground. You’re naked before him, and you feel his eyes take in every square inch of flesh. You hear his clothes fall to the ground in a rustling heap.
His mouth is on your pussy before you even register what he's doing. You feel your body tensing before his large hands come to hold your thighs in place.
"Such a pretty pussy," he groans, delving deeper between your folds. You feel your legs begin to tremble. He begins giving you exquisitely probing kisses between your thighs, chuckling when you begin to tremor.
"Please Joel," you beg quietly. "I need your cock."
He gently ushers you to the bed onto your belly before bracketing your hips with his thighs. Joel's fingers move to the back of your neck, curled into your hair. He moves it up, out of the way so he can press long kisses to the bare flesh of your neck.
"My girl loves gettin’ fucked," Joel grunts out above you. "Ain't nothin' virginal about her."
He groans against your shoulder as he slides into you, hips slowly pressing against the swell of your ass. You sigh, allowing yourself to be pressed into the mattress. You’ve missed this. And judging by his poorly stifled moans, Joel has missed it too.
"Such a good girl," Joel coos, coating himself in your copious arousal. "She missed me."
"Uh huh," you whimper out because all of you has missed Joel. Not just your body but your heart, your mind. You can hear him smile behind you as you thrust yourself back on his length.
"Such a pretty girl," Joel murmurs as he pulls out and then slowly pushes himself in again. He kisses the top of your spine, tongue trailing over your flesh as you moan below him. Your wrists are held by him, resting at your lower back. Your face is tilted, cheek on the sheets as you moan, your vision growing blurry.
You can only writhe under him, body flailing with pleasured arches. Silent screams to keep going to go deeper. Nothing is rushed, everything is tempered and slow and deep. He fills you up so fucking well, so achingly patient.
"She likes having this pretty pussy full 'a me," Joel says as if he has to remind you. "Don't you, baby?"
"Yes yes yes."
"Look at you," he marvels as he stares at you. His free hand slides down your spine, petting you like a cat. You smile drunkenly over your shoulder, watching his hips flexing as he continues to drive himself into you. "You need more, honey?"
You can only give a weak nod, going down on your forearms, presenting yourself to Joel to use.
"Yeah, she needs it harder," Joel murmurs, you feel him flexing, cock sliding through your folds as you whine brokenly. Your head falls forward as your face screws up, brows saddling. Joel’s hot breath is at your ear, his voice a husky purr.
“What do you think your parents would say, knowin’ I’m balls deep in their sweet, innocent girl?” Joel murmurs, tongue coming to trace the shell of your earlobe. “What would they say knowing how you sucked my cock and begged for my come that first time?”
Your body twitches in arousal at that.
“What would they say if they knew their precious little girl was on my camera covered in my come an’ callin’ me Daddy?”
Joel continues to move so slowly within you, extending the pleasure to an almost unbearable level as he glides in and out of your drooling cunt. Joel's fingers begin to circle your clit as his cock thrusts into you.
"Baby," you offer, voice sluggish. "You feel so fucking good."
"Naw sweet girl," Joel says running his nose against your cheek. "That's you. You make me feel so goddam good."
You know what he's not saying and it's not just the sex. That being together feels good. That clinging to one another feels good. That just existing in this moment with each other feels so fucking good.
"Needed this cock didn't you?” Joel asks, hips starting to rock into you with more abandon. "Needed me to take care of you."
His hips are slapping against your ass now, making your eyes cheat to the back of your head. The slapping sound is so visceral, so overtly sexual.
"Yes," you manage to articulate.
"Needed my come?"
You can't even answer that, you just let your eyes shut and feel as the climax courses through your body, making you cry out in broken sounds as Joel fucks into you. You milk his cock as you come down, body boneless. Joel continues, his hips driving forward over and over until-
-a knock at the door sounds.
You hear Joel curse behind you, his body stuttering to a stop. You give a high whine, head twisting to see him over your shoulder. His face is red, his forehead dotted with perspiration. He pulls out of you slowly before reaching for his pants.
"Dinner," Joel says raggedly. He kisses you again before pulling back, going to retrieve the tray whilst trying to hide his erection as you hold back a laugh.
“But you didn’t come,” you remind him, as if it weren’t painfully obvious. Joel gives a breathy chuckle before kissing your sweaty cheek when he returns.
“Plenty a’ time for that, baby.”
Dinner is a steak for each of you with a side of fries, salad a charcuterie tray that Joel thought you’d like. You take a seat on the end of the bed with him and the two of you eat, chatting away about Joel’s flight over here and how he feels about Charlie (bumpy and he’s a good kid).
A short while later when everything is digested he removes the champagne from where it sits over ice and offers to pour you a glass. You’re struck by his thoughtfulness, of all the trouble he went to for you.
“Joel this is so sweet of you.”
“It gets sweeter,” Joel says with a grin. He lifts one of the silver trays and you smile when you see chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Joel pours you each a flute of the champagne before handing you yours.
"To my genius girlfriend," Joel toasts, clinking his glass to yours. "And her extremely bright future."
"To my impossibly sweet boyfriend," you say smiling dopily. “And his huge heart.”
The two of you sip your champagne, letting the bubbles tickle your tongue. He holds the plate of strawberries out to you but you shake your head.
Joel watches as you place your flute down on the floor before crawling into his lap. He gives a soft chuckle before you're nestled in between his legs. He drains his champagne glass, placing it on the side table.
"I want a different dessert," you breathe, urging his large hand between your legs and gently rocking. "Is that okay?"
His fingers curl into you, finding you wet and waiting. Your thighs spread, giving him better access to penetrate you deeper with his fingers.
"Yeah, that's okay," Joel breathes against your skin. "S'your big day, baby. You tell me what-"
Before he can finish the sentence there's another knock at the door. Joel freezes as if remembering himself. He tugs your robe closed.
"Put on some panties," he urges you. "Your other gift is here."
"Another gift, Joel? And one I need panties for?"
"Trust me," Joel winks at you. "Now put on panties like a good girl even though we know you're anything but."
He swats your ass playfully as you sit on the edge of the bed; watching Joel turn the corner and hearing him open the door.  You pull on and re-tie your red panties once more, listening as your boyfriend opens the doors to two strangers you can barely make out in the mirror.
"Oh I thought they were sending two ladies," Joel said, his rumbling voice a twinge irritated.
"So sorry Mister Miller, our usual girl called in sick,” a small redhead says with a concerned look. “Gus is all we had available. But I know you specifically requested deep tissue and he is the best.”
Joel pauses and then nods. “Alright then. Lemme help you with the tables.”
All southern manners Joel brings in the woman’s table despite her protests. You watch as the two  masseurs dressed in white pants and white t-shirts set up their tables, bringing out lotion and a portable speaker.
“We’re here for your couples massage,” the woman says grinning from you to Joel. “We hear you’re celebrating your graduation.”
“I am.”
“Congrats,” the man – Gus – says with a patient smile in your direction. “You must be glad it’s over.”
“I guess not glad enough,” you laugh. “I start my Masters in the fall.”
The woman is small with large eyes and a smattering of freckles over her nose. Gus is tall with blonde hair and the straightest teeth you’ve ever seen. He comes over to you with a charismatic nod of his head.
"I take it you’re the one who likes deep tissue?"
“Yes.”
"My name is Gus, I'll be your masseur today. Please let me know if you have any problems with the treatment.”
You see Joel eyeing you from where he stands by his table.
“Greta and I are going to step into the bathroom to give you both some privacy to undress to your comfort and slip under the sheets. Any questions? No? Alright then."
The two of them head into the bathroom, closing the door behind them. You shoot Joel an amused look before the two of you undress to your underwear. You can’t help but let your eyes linger on Joel’s broad naked back as he lays himself on the massage table. He sees your peering as he pulls up the sheet to his waist.
“You gonna stare at me all night?”
You give a sheepish smile before climbing onto the table next to his, raising the blanket up to your shoulders before spinning onto your stomach.
Greta and Gus emerge when Joel calls out that you’re ready. The lights in the hotel room are dimmed and your eyes shut. The scent of lavender washes over you, the oil warmed by Gus’ hands. At the first stroke along your back you give a soft sigh, enjoying the feel of your muscles being taken care of.
You sneak a glance to see Joel laying with his eyes shut tightly, looking more in pain than anything. You hold in a laugh before closing your eyes again and surrendering to the calming sensation of Gus’ large hands on your body.
The massage is divine. So much so that you can't help the little mewls and groans that escape you when Gus hits a particularly good spot. You didn't realize how tense you were.
You hear Joel give a few coughs during the massage, but you barely notice. Greta murmurs something to him and he shakes his head. She nods and you hear Joel give a soft groan when she gets to his lower back.
You’re not the only one feeling good and this pleases you greatly. Joel works so hard, he deserves to be spoiled. With Gus' strong palms pressing into your shoulder blades along with the lavender scented oil you feel transported.
The hour goes by too fast and when the masseurs tell you to relax before getting up you want to cry. You wanted it to keep going on and on.
"Thank you so much," you murmur to Gus, your voice dripping with gratitude.
"We'll just step outside so you can get dressed again," they tell you and Joel in quiet whispers. "Please take your time standing."
You make a soft sighing noise before you feel Joel’s hand skimming along your spine. “That feel good?”
“So good,” you groan, allowing him to help you off the table and into the robe. He sashes it for you before giving you a kiss. He walks over to the door, allowing the masseurs to enter back into the room. They hand you both a glass of water that you drink eagerly.
"We hope you enjoyed your treatment."
“We did,” you enthuse sleepily. You feel so good right now, your limbs heavy in a sleepy way.
"Your boyfriend is so thoughtful," Gus murmurs as he packs up.
"Mhmmm," you say with a wide grin. "I'm very lucky."
You and Joel watch them pack up their things before they’re heading out. When the door is closed you flop down onto the bed, your body so relaxed. It feels heavenly to be touched like that, your muscles soothed.
"You liked that?"Joel says in a deep voice.
"Yeah, felt amazing."
"Yeah?" Joel crawls over to your side of the bed, eyes primal. "I didn't."
Your eyes crack open to see Joel inches from your face. His dark eyes are blown black, his mouth curved into a tight smirk. He throws a leg over your waist, straddling you, his weight heavy and pressing you into the mattress.
"What didn't you like, Mister Miller?"
"Watching that man touchin' you," Joel murmurs, eyes on your waist as he unties your robe.
A fire flames in you at the jealous tinge of his voice.  You’ve never really known Joel to be jealous. Even with Conrad he’d been more territorial by the end. But having Joel jealous . . . it’s kind of a turn on.
"He was just doing his job," you say rolling your eyes.
"He was taking his time and starin'," Joel says with a sheepish grin. "I saw him."
"You were watching me the whole time? Weren't you just enjoying your own massage?" You ask with a laugh.
"I did both."
You break into a fit of giggles as Joel's face breaks into a guilty grin
"He was just doing his job," you repeat and almost laugh at the petulant jealousy Joel is displaying.
"I know," Joel says with an embarrassed flush over his cheeks. "I just hated watchin' another man touch you and you makin,' those noises for him."
His hands gently throw open your robe, displaying your breasts to him. He makes a soft noise of appreciation, hand sliding up your ribcage to cup them. You shutter when the thumbs drag along your nipples and they pebble tightly under his touch.
"I wanna be the only one making you feel that good," Joel continues, amusement clear in his face when you begin to start squirming under his touch.
"No one makes me feel as good as you do," you assure him, feeling his cock resting heavily on your belly. "No one."
You groan as he removes the robe from his body before pinning your wrists at either side of your head on the pillow.
"Yeah?" Joel cocks his head to the side, smirking. "I think you need to remind me."
"I'll show you every fucking day if you let me," you groan, hips rolling under him.
"Gonna need you to show me now," he says against your mouth.
"Joel you know I don't want anyone else," you tell him breathlessly. "I just want you."
"Yeah?" Joel's smile is genuine.
"Yeah," you nod, "No one fucks me like you do," you tell him. "No one takes care of me like you do."
"I love takin' care of you," Joel admits, palms cupping your breasts again. He dips his head and rolls his tongue over a stiffened peak and groans when you shiver.
You smile gently as he pulls you to a stand beside the bed. He removes the robe from your shoulders, leaving you beautiful and naked for him. He kisses your shoulder blade reverently, his hands slipping down to cup your ass.
He takes a moment to appraise your exposed flesh before he turns the lights off in the room. You wonder what he's doing when he's taking your hand and guiding you to the large window overlooking the darkened city.
"I'm the only one who takes care of you," Joel murmurs as he twists your body around, facing you to the window. "And I want everyone to know it."
The night is dark; the world dotted with streetlights, restaurant bistro lights, the warm little squares of nearby hotel rooms.
"See them down there?" Joel asks, pointing to the people milling down on the ground below you.
Its groups of patrons down several floors smoking and chatting near the entrance to the hotel bar. Several of them are smoking cigarettes or inhaling vapes. One girl shrieks and stumbles on her heels.
"Yeah."
The people below talk loudly, some tossing their heads back when they laugh.
"You think any of 'em has seen a better pair of tits than these?"
His hands cup your breasts, thumbs grazing your nipples. You shiver, knowing that when Joel's voice drops to that dark baritone something is coming. He kneads your breasts, his mouth coming to kiss your neck, beard tickling the sensitive flesh there as you sigh. The sound of muted laughter breaks you from your reverie.
"Joel someone could see-"
"Maybe," he teases before nibbling gently on your earlobe. "Maybe not."
His fingers are teasing your nipples into hard points, twisting gently until you whimper. Your cunt throbs, anticipation and fear coursing through you.
"Bet if they can see they're thinking how they'd love the chance to fuck this sweet pussy," Joel continues, hand sliding to slip between your legs, fingers curling into your dripping cunt.
"But they don't get to, do they sweet girl?"
You rock against his touch, desperate for the friction. Your hand reaches behind you and goes to his neck as you lean against him, face tilting to his.
"No," you promise him, head falling against his shoulder. "Only you."
"That's right," Joel rasps against your cheek. "Only me."
Your eyes dart down to the group below and you pray that the darkness of the room shields you. You feel Joel hard and twitching at your lower back. He's getting off on this in a major way.
"Let 'em see what they can't have," Joel whispers against your ear. "Let's show 'em what's mine."
Joel's robe which had been shielding you slightly is pulled back from your body. You stand naked, framed by the large window. Your reflection is there, gazing at you like a sultry twin. You twist away from the cool glass, your cheeks flaming.
"Joel-"
"Shhhh," Joel soothes, kissing the top of your head. "S'okay baby. I got you."
His hand comes to your jaw, forcing you to keep your face pointed to the window. Your cheeks burn but you're so wet. You feel his body pressing into yours, herding you closer to the window.
"That's my girl."
He continues like this, pressing you further against the window until your breasts are flattened against the glass. It's cool, and if your nipples weren't already pebbled they would be now.
You allow yourself to be tilted, shifted, your stance widened and your pelvis pressed against the window. Your eyes remain on the figures below, terrified that they'll look up and see you naked and arched.
You hear Joel's robe fall to the ground and know that he too is naked behind you. His wide hand comes to cup your pussy and you whimper, eyes falling shut. You feel him notch himself at the entrance to your cunt.
"Be good for me, now."
Joel slides up into you, the two of you groaning in unison. He makes you feel so full, so deliciously stretched. His fingers begin to worry your clit, tapping and rubbing as he thrusts into you against the window before withdrawing.
"Joel one of them is looking up," you say, even though the people are far away and they could be very well looking at any of the number of hotel rooms.
"What do they see, baby?" Joel groans, shoulders rolling as he slides his fingers along the slick of your clit.
"They see us," you groan, cheeks flaming.
"Uh huh," Joel coos, cock teasing your entrance. "They see you takin' my cock like a good little slut."
This sentence causes your knees to almost buckle and if not for Joel's body pressing you against the window you would have collapsed.
"I want them to see how good my girl looks when I'm fucking her," Joel grunts out, pressing your body against the glass. Your pebbled nipples smoothed against the chilled surface.
"They can't fuck you. Only me."
You whimper before Joel is sliding all the way once more, making your breath come out in little shudders. He picks up the pace, watching as you crest, and your orgasm washing over you. A small one, an appetizer.
You wonder what the people below will see if they look up. A bit of movement in the darkness? Or a young woman pressed luridly against the glass while a broad shouldered older man pounds into her relentlessly?
"They're watchin' me fuck what's mine."
The possessiveness in his statement hits you directly in your cunt, causing you to moan lowly. Joel pins your hands to the window under his, both of your palms flat as he drives into you to the hilt.
"You're all mine," Joel groans. His chin is on your shoulder, digging there. "Say it."
He thrusts brutally into you, his hips unrelenting. You're momentarily distracted before his voice is in your ear, hot and urgent.
"Say it, baby."
"Say what?"
"Say you're mine. I wanna hear it."
His hips are starting to thrust so hard it leaves you breathless, body jolting against the cool glass. It feels so good, so grounding. He presses all of him against you, your body flat against the window and he fucks up into you. His breath is hot at your temple, stirring the hair there.
"I'm yours," you cry out.
"Again."
"I'm yours, baby," you keen, hands slipping down the window, your body going boneless. Your cheek is shifting against the window, your now damp body squeaking against the glass.
"Louder."
"Yours," you punch out as Joel's mouth sucks at your jaw. Every word is now punctuated by Joel's snapping hips you pelvis smacking into the window. "Yours! Yours! Yours!"
He smells so good. Like sweat and the spicy cologne he wore at graduation and the lingering scent of the lavender massage oil. You want to wear that smell on you every day for the rest of your life.
His breath is hot and damp on your neck, teeth scraping against your jaw. Your breasts are pressed tightly against the glass, showing your naked body off to anyone who can see this high up. His fingers rub your clit in gentle circles, palm pressing into your abdomen.
"Again," Joel groans, his hips slamming into you, arousal soaking his length. You're pinned between his gyrating hips and the window. "Say it again."
"Joel I'm yours!" Your voice is cracking as your orgasm starts to creep up on you. "I'm fucking yours! I have been since Christmas!"
You're getting so close to another climax, you're almost there.
"You only want me and my cock" Joel groans, his hands on your hips now as he fucks you brutally, so much that you jump a bit with each thrust, your breasts rasping against the glass. "I'm the only one who fucks you properly."
"You know I only want you," you tell him. "I only want you, Joel. I lo-"
You hold your tongue despite everything. Joel knows how you feel, he must. But the first time you told him he convinced you it was just a connection, not love. You don't want to be the one to say it again.
He grips the back of your neck, forcing your head back and your mouth to graze his. He looks completely fucked out, shiny with sweat, pupils blown, mouth parted.
"Mine," Joel rasps once before his mouth overwhelms you. His lips slot between yours as you let the pleasure overwhelm your core and tightened limbs. Your cries are weak and converging into whines as he continues fucking you.
“Mine, mine, mine,” he growls against your open mouth. “Fucking mine.”
You come down moments later, body boneless and quivering against him. You feel like you're consumed by Joel, his arms around you, his body against yours.
"I ain't done with you yet," he says breathlessly. Before you can say anything he has you in a bridal carry and he's taking you back to the bed. You gaze up at him with adoration, convinced your pupils must be heart shaped at this point.
I love him. I love him.
He sits at the end of the bed, holding you tenderly in his lap, body pliant and ready for whatever he'll offer you. You just want to be with him, near him, always.
His eyes are roving your naked body, the sight of his turgid cock between your legs. He shifts, watching it slip between your lips, grazing the clit.
"Joel," you sigh if only to hear the sound of it.
He seems to remember himself at the sound, his eyes on yours. They go to your mouth, fingers gripping your chin.
"You ready for more, baby?" He asks you, nose rubbing along your own. "Can I give you more?"
His palm trails over your breasts, down your stomach and grazing your inner thigh.
"Yes," you breathe, eyes heavily lidded. "I want more.”
There is a curl at the corner of his full mouth.
"Be polite," Joel murmurs with a smirk. His mouth trails behind your ear, voice a soft huff. "Ask Daddy nicely, baby."
Your eyes don't leave his face, even as your ass begins to roll over his hard and weeping cock. His mouth is at your neck, kissing and sucking.
"Please."
"Please what?" He mutters against your throat.
"P-please," you whimper shakily. "Please fuck me, Daddy."
Joel groans low in his chest at the sound. He takes your hands in his; drawing them up, up until they're laced behind his neck. He leaves them there, his broad hands making their way down your arms, your breasts as you arch, your soft stomach and then between your legs. He holds your soft inner thighs and parts them widely.
Your head tilts back, leaning against his shoulder so you can gaze up at him. He watches you for a moment, eyes tracing your face before he kisses you gently, tongue dabbing against yours as you settle there on his lap, hands on his at your waist.
And now he hooks your thighs over his own, parting both sets of legs widely until you're luridly exposed. Joel's fingertips make a slow trail along the crease of your thigh until they land at your clit. You make a small whimpering noise before settling back against him, eyes shutting in languid pleasure as your head sags forward.
Joel gently pulls your hair, tugging your face up from where it rests against your sternum. The pull is delicious, your heavy eyes staring up into the mirror above the dresser on the opposite wall of the hotel room.
“You're gonna take it like this," he tells your reflection in the mirror. "So we can both see how good you look when you're getting fucked by Daddy."
You whimper and nod, hand splayed over his. Joel is panting heavily behind you, large, dark eyes on yours in the mirror. Your eyes remain on his in the reflection, watching as he helps to lower you onto his cock. From this angle he feels even bigger. You're so slick that when he thrusts inside you think you’ll take him easily, but his size and the angle makes it a strain to take all of him at once.
"You can do it, baby,” Joel soothes as the stretch makes you wince. You can see the flush over your cheeks, the red in Joel's face and chest. His muscles ripple under his beautifully tanned skin.
"Be a good girl for me," Joel whispers against your temple. "Make Daddy feel good."
///
Tess sees rather than hears the two of you first in the reflection of the mirror atop the hotel vanity. At first she's confused when she sees Joel on the edge of the bed facing the mirror. But then she sees the woman in his lap facing away from him, her knees slung over Joel's as he keeps her glistening sex spread wide.
"That's right," Joel rasps against her temple. "I'm gonna take care of you, baby."
His cock is pressing between the woman's thighs, both coated in arousal as he thrusts. Tess can see his middle and ring finger on either side of the woman’s clit, rubbing gentle circles there.
"You always take care of me," the woman on Joel's lap groans, her thighs flexing as Joel drives himself up between her thighs. "Feels so good."
When the woman lets out a husky moan Joel's eyes shutter but they never break from the woman. The woman's face tilts and Joel's eyes are so full of adoration that Tess feels physically sick. She watches as Joel's hands move to cup the woman's face.
"Never felt this good with anyone," Joel tells her softly. "Never."
"Me neither," the woman whimpers before pressing her mouth to his. They kiss slowly, reverently, lovingly even as he fucks up into her. The woman makes a soft whimpering sound, her body quaking as Joel’s cock slides in and out of her. Joel's face breaks. His brows saddle and his thrusting reaches a fever pitch.
"Keep goin'," Joel is slurring. "Uh huh, you take it baby. This is all for you. S'always gonna be for you."
///
You sigh, feeling him bottom out inside you. He lets out a sharp hiss, his hands moving up your body to cup your breasts, pinching the nipples as you moan. He begins to thrust his cock into you, slowly at first, wanting you to acclimatize.
You watch yourselves in the mirror, hypnotized by the way Joel looks as he’s entering you over and over. The way he has your legs spread so wide, so obscene. The sight of Joel’s cock disappearing into your sopping cunt as he kneads your breasts. His eyes are heavy-lidded, but stuck on your face.
“You’re mine,” you tell his reflection, your damp temple pressed against his cheek. “Only mine.”
You don’t feel territorial like Joel, but you want to hear the words from him. There’s something like satisfaction in having Joel say it.
“Yes,” Joel pants, sawing his cock between your thighs. “Only yours.”
Your hands continue to lace around his neck, holding there as he continues to thrust. Your breasts bounce at every jolt, his large hands coming to hold your hips stationary.
"This is your cock baby," he tells you as he pumps into you. "Only you fuck it. Only you."
Your eyes are on his as he thrusts deep and fast, watching your body bounce on his lap, his broad forearms and shoulders caging you against him.
"Joel you feel so fucking good," you moan, eyes closing as he drives himself firmly into you. "No one fucks me like you do."
"That's right," he purrs. "Because I’m yours and your mine n’ Daddy knows how to make his good girl feel good."
He’s fucking up into you with abandon, his hands on your thighs, keeping them apart. He can’t stop staring at the two of you in the mirror, bodies rising and falling together, slick with sweat, moaning together in some feral symphony.
You feel suddenly shy, your face turning to him, forehead pressing against his cheek.
"No no," Joel commands gently, his fingers gently forcing your face to the mirror. "Look at how good you look takin’ my cock, baby."
His face slides next to you, cheeks pressed together and in the mirrors reflection you can see the stark difference in your expressions. Joel is completely un-tethered, eyes narrowed and his teeth bared in a feral smile as he thrusts into you. It's the view of a man taking what he thinks is his, of possession, of desire.
You on the other hand are completely fucked out, hair falling into your glassy eyes, mouth hanging open as you make inhuman noises, your naked body jolting with every thrust. You're totally gone, your body his to mold, hands barely able to hold onto his own around your waist.
"Oh pretty girl," Joel groans heavily into your hair. "You're doin' so good. Keep goin' just like that. Daddy loves those sounds you're makin' just for him."
"Fuck me harder Daddy," you gasp, bouncing along his cock. "Harder."
He holds your thighs tightly, fingertips dimpling the flesh as he holds you open for him to see in the mirror and fucks into you even harder. He looks lost watching as your cunt swallows him time and time again, thrust after thrust. Joel cups your tits again, squeezing them together.
"Joel," you whine, pelvis tilting back and forth as you continue crying out at the ceiling. "I don't wanna stop."
"We're not gonna," Joel promises, the two of you falling into a rhythm as he flexes into you. "We ain’t stoppin’."
He doesn’t know what you mean. That you don’t want to stop seeing him. You look over your shoulder at Joel and you let out a keen when you see how fucked out he looks. You have never wanted him more.
"Joel,” you groan, eyelids fluttering. "I need to come."
"C'mon an’ be a good girl," Joel urges you; planting a sloppy kiss to your cheek as you two bounce together. "Use your manners."
He's so deep, working so hard that his back is slick with sweat. Your thighs burn as he holds you open but you don't stop, you don't even adjust because the strain adds to it. It makes it feel even deeper, even sharper.  His fingers are on your clit again, sliding and rubbing in the way he knows you love.
"That's my girl," Joel croons against your temple, his mouth breaking into a sinful smile against your hair. "So good for me."
"Please Daddy," you moan. "Let me come for you."
You rise and fall together like the waves of an ocean, his arms wrapped around your middle as your arm goes behind your head, fingers clinging to his neck, your forehead against his jaw. Your hips roll over him, sliding back and forth as Joel fucks into you. You stretch your spine out, back arching and face up at the ceiling as you cry out in high, raspy intonations.
///
"Please Daddy, let me come for you."
The woman’s hips flex as she rides his cock. Her chest rises and Joel's left hand moves to cup her breast, his fingertips worrying her nipple. Tess tries to make out the woman's face but her hair is in her face.
"You gonna come on Daddy's cock like a good girl?"
"Yes Daddy," the woman keens.
Tess feels her eyes blow wide at this. She's never heard Joel refer to himself as Daddy, has never had him encourage her to use the term. He's never fucked Tess on the edge of the bed, holding her in his lap and watching their damp bodies writhing together in the mirror. He's never been unrestrained, so recklessly passionate like this.
Tess registers that her marriage is well and truly over not only because the woman is drawing moans from Joel that Tess has never been able to encourage in him in all their time together. It's because Joel has never looked at Tess the same way he's looking at the woman now. The naked look of reverence and desire mixed in one. Never shown himself to Tess like this, never let himself truly let go.
Tess can see Joel's slick cock sliding out and into the woman's bared pussy, deeper and harder with every thrust.
“That’s it baby," Joel whispers against your mouth. "Give it all here. Lemme have it and you can have mine. Look at Daddy when you come for him."
She does, face tilted up to him, crying loudly and bouncing in his lap, her thighs spread wide. Tess sees arousal flooding over Joel's stiff cock still stuffing the woman's tight cunt.
Tess holds in a grimace as Joel grips the woman's hips in his long fingers.
"You like this?" Joel rasps, fingers worrying the woman's clit as she rides him. "Like me holding you open wide so you see how Daddy fucks his good girl?"
Tess watches the woman’s stomach tighten, sees the fresh gush of arousal around Joel’s cock and knows that she’s come. She gives out a shuddering cry of Joel’s name, her fingernails digging into his hands on her hips. Joel watches her face with a look of naked adoration, his mouth curling into a crooked smile.
“Feel good, baby?”
"Yes," she replies and Tess feels her stomach heave when the two share a soft and tender kiss.
The woman says something else but Tess doesn't hear it. The woman's mouth moves to Joel's ear and suddenly he's got her around the waist, holding her against his chest as his cock saws in and out of her dripping slot, the sounds obscene in the quiet hotel room.
"You feel so fuckin’ good," Joel grunts, his voice guttural.
The woman moans, hips rolling. Her palm comes to hold Joel’s cheek. "Wanna make you come, Joel."
And she does. Tess watches Joel’s face go pinched, his hands clutching the woman tightly to him as his hips slap against her from behind. Joel moans, his entire body convulsing a moment before he empties himself into the woman. They both groan at the sensation, bodies so tightly pressed as their hips slowly stutter to a stop.
Tess stares at the woman and Joel, her eyes fixed on the debauched view of his come leaking out of her pussy as she sits spread wide on his lap. Joel's eyes won't leave the woman's face and the woman’s fingers lace through his curls at the base of his scalp.
"I've never wanted someone the way I want you," Joel confesses quietly.
It's not just that comment which infuriates Tess. It's the way Joel's eyes are still gazing into the woman's face. It's an open, loving look without restraint. The woman murmurs something to Joel, something Tess can't hear. And suddenly Tess can't take it another second. She bursts towards them, eyes blazing.
"What the fuck is going on?"
///
You start when you hear Tess ' voice sound out behind you. Instinct tells you to turn around but everything in you stays frozen on Joel's lap as his softening cock slips from you.
"Tess," Joel croaks. "What are-"
He stops himself, realizing that he's still holding your naked body open wide. You know he's hoping the same things you are. That Tess didn't see your face.
Joel snaps into action, he grips the nearby robe and wraps it around you. He slips you off his lap, leaving you shaking on the bed as he pulls on his boxers. He stands between you on the bed and Tess standing watching you hide behind him.
Tess stands at the door of the room, her suitcase in one hand and a hotel key card in the other. In your frenzy neither of you heard the beep of the door as she came in.
"Conference got cancelled," Tess says stiffly. "Thought I'd come surprise you and Sarah. Looks like I really surprised you."
Tess is quiet as you rush off to the bathroom, Joel's come leaking down your leg. You slam the door behind you, leaning against it as you slump to the floor. You can hear their voices outside in the room.
“How did you get in here?”
“I told them my husband was staying here,” Tess hisses back. "Who the fuck was that, Joel?"
"None of your business, Tess.”
You sit against the door, ear pressed even though they're both speaking so loudly you needn’t have bothered.
“Should have known you’d have a little side piece to keep your cock warm.”
“That’s not what she is,” Joel defends angrily. “And you’re not mad at her. I’m the one you were married to.”
“Were?” Tess says choking down a laugh. “Did I miss something Joel? Last time I checked we still were.”
“Tess,” Joel says in a soft voice. “The divorce papers are signed. I don’t even know why you’re here in the first place.”
“I was coming here to see if we could still make it work,” Tess says chagrined. “I have the divorce papers in my bag. I was sitting on mailing them out. Fucking foolish of me when you have a little whore keeping your dick wet.”
“Don’t call her that,” Joel snaps. “I’m serious.”
You wish you could see him through the door. You stand, moving to sit on the toilet, wrapping the robe tighter around you. You clean yourself with one of the towels, feeling sick to your stomach.
“She seemed young,” Tess scoffs. “Now I understand the fascination. Bet you love eating her pussy don’t you? She taste good, Joel? Sweet?”
Joel doesn’t answer and you’re frankly shocked at how Tess is speaking. She didn’t seem this kind of person when you met her at Christmas.
“She just love sucking your cock?” Tess continues and you can feel Joel’s shame through the door. “Does she know you have a daughter about her age?”
“Yes.”
“How long have you known her for, Joel?”
Silence. The kind of silence that is more incriminating
Say something Joel. Something. Anything.
And then he does say something. But it’s not what you expect.
“No, Tess don’t-“
The door to the bathroom is thrust open and Tess stands in the doorway, staring down at you. You feel your soul leave your body when her see her register who you are.
"You?" She chokes out. "You?!"
"I'm so sorry," you say and the tears are spilling from your eyes. "I'm so so sorry."
Because you are.
You feel so deeply ashamed with yourself. All the times you told yourself it was a fling and it didn’t matter. All the times you pushed Tess from your mind because she wasn’t there to remind you that you were doing something incredibly wrong. And you feel so much guilt because you want her husband, you love him.
Tess backs into the room, her eyes blown wide as she looks at you emerging from the bathroom, face blotchy and eyes wet with tears.
“I welcomed you into my home,” Tess whispers in horror, her face white. “I cooked for you, I- Oh my God – is this… did it start back then?” She whirls on Joel looking ashamedly at his feet. “How long has this been going on, Joel? Tell me the fucking truth.”
Joel’s voice is low and quiet.
“Christmas.”
“Christmas,” Tess echoes weakly. “You’ve been fucking this little college slut for months?”
“Hey,” Joel says sharply, inadvertently coming to stand between Tess and the bed, shielding you.
“Big, strong protector,” Tess says with a disgusted laugh. She gives you a hollow look. “Until he gets bored of you and finds another college girl to fuck, right?”
“Tess, I know you’re hurtin’ and I’m sorry,” Joel says truthfully. “But you need to stop.”
“Did you fuck her in our bed?”
Joel can’t reply and you feel your stomach drop when Tess shake her head before sneering over at you, giving you a once over full of derision. Then her eyes are back on Joel’s increasingly red face.
“You get that you’re just some older guy she’ll fuck until she gets bored. A story she’ll look back on and laugh about with her age appropriate husband in about ten years.”
"Tess-"
"You feel good knowing you threw away our entire marriage for some college pussy?"
“Stop, please,” you beg, hating the look that’s clouding Joel’s face. That scared, uncertain look. “Please, Tess.”
"Why?" Tess scoffs angrily and you flinch at the way she hisses at you. “You don’t like hearing the truth? How you broke up a family because you wanted to fuck my husband?”
You hate knowing that you’ve hurt Tess so badly. You just never thought she would find out.
“Tess stop,” Joel says and now his voice is that same dark whisper. The scary one that sets goosebumps across your body. “I was the one that cheated on you. Be mad at me.”
“Oh don’t worry about that, I am,” Tess says with a shallow laugh before pointing at you with the key card. "But she played an equal part in this. If she’s old enough to have an affair with my husband, she’s old enough to hear this. You understand that you’re a midlife crisis, right? Most men get sportscars, but I guess Joel Miller’s not like most men.”
“She ain’t that,” Joel tells Tess and you feel the anger mixed with shame radiating off of him.
“No?” Tess’s mouth is curled into a ghoulish expression of amusement. “Why Joel? Are you in love with her or something?”
"Yes."
The speed in which he replies shocks not only Tess but you as well. Your head jerks to the side to face him. His eyes go to your face, the feeling so clear in his gaze. Your heart swells at the sight of it despite everything.
“Of course you are,” Tess laughs cruelly. “Joel Miller the romantic.”
“Tess-“
“You two are just fucking around, ruining marriages and families and I’m supposed to believe this is some love story for the ages?” Tess scowls as she collapses into the chair nearest to her. “Are you fucking deluded?”
You chance a glance over at Joel to see his jaw clenched and his dark eyes far away. Part of you wants to beg Tess’s forgiveness; the other part wants to slap her for making Joel look so beaten down.
"How many others have there been?" Tess demands. You watch Joel's cheeks flame and your stomach drops at the length of time it takes him to answer. Were there others? You never even thought to ask.
"Just her," he finally utters quietly. "Only wanted her."
You realize now his hesitancy. If there had been several you'd just be a number Tess could forget about. But as it is there is only you, which means something more. Tess turns her ire on you now, her light eyes flashing.
"How could you do this to your friend?" Tess demands of you. "Forget about me, how could you do this to Sarah? How could you break up her family?"
You feel sick to your stomach. All the minutes and hours and weeks and months you spent pining for Joel, did you ever really consider the true ramifications? Or the people you would both hurt? Or were you just so intent on having him that everything else was pushed aside?
"Tess, it wasn't her," Joel assures her. "You and I had been unhappy long before Christmas. Meeting her just... It just confirmed how I'd been feeling for months."
“We were married. We were happy.”
"Were we really happy Tess?" Joel challenges. “I wanted more kids and you didn’t.”
“She’s gonna give you kids, is that it?”
Joel ignores this question, can tell without looking over at you that there must be a stricken expression on your face.
"When you weren't at work and it was just us we barely spent time together. And when we did most of the time we'd argue."
"But there were good times," Tess defends.
"I know," Joel nods. "S'why I didn't break things off right away."
You don't like hearing this. Hearing how Joel wasn't sure. Hearing about his life when you weren't there. It makes your face crumple when you hear it. Joel must notice because his face is turning to you.
"But I couldn't forget her."
He goes to reach for you but stops when he hears Tess give a disgusted scoff. Your arms are wrapped around your body, wishing more than anything this moment was over. But Tess isn’t finished. Not by a long shot.
“And what did Sarah have to say about this?” Tess demands. “Something tells me she wouldn’t have been thrilled to see her best friend and her father fucking.”
The dual silence of you and Joel tells her everything.
“Ohhh….She doesn’t know,” Tess says in a mock hushed tone. “Well, maybe someone should tell her.”
You watch in horror as Tess reaches for her cell phone in her purse. Your stomach lurches and you dart forward, ignoring Joel’s hand grazing your waist as you pass him.
"Tess please," you beg, hand outstretched. "You can hate me and Joel as much as you want. But please think of how telling her like this will affect Sarah.”
Tess stares at you, a sinister curl of amusement on her lips. “Like you thought about how it would affect Sarah when you started fucking her dad?”
No, you never thought of Sarah. All you thought about was your own selfish pleasure. How were you so fucking deluded to think that loving Joel would be enough? Tess is one thing – according to him their marriage was already suffering and aside from this moment you never thought you’d have to see her.
But Sarah? Sarah was innocent in all of this. Sarah your only true friend.
“I didn’t because I’m a selfish piece of shit,” you tell her firmly. “But you aren’t.”
“Oh no?” Tess is almost laughing at your solemnity.
“No,” you shake your head. “From the moment I met you, I knew you were the kind of person to do the right thing. And you know that telling Sarah about us like this is wrong. It would break her heart. Sarah doesn't deserve this. She's never done anything to you. Ever."
“And I deserved it?” Tess challenges. “I deserved to have some little college slut fuck my husband?”
The tears are falling down, hot and steady down your warm cheeks. Because she has every right to hate you both. You did something wrong, so impossibly wrong. You shake your head lightly, trying to swallow more of the tears.
“No, you didn’t.”
You feel your cheeks burn with shame and guilt as you lower yourself to your knees, head bowed. You face her, subservient in your stance, ignoring as Joel calls your name. Your fold your hands in front of you, lacing the fingers together as if in prayer.
“Tess I’m so so sorry for what we did. I know that an apology means nothing. It means less than nothing,” you say, debasing yourself. “I understand you hating me for the rest of your life. What we did was fucking wrong, there’s no way around that. I don’t know how to fix it. I really don’t.”
You take a deep breath and try to swallow down the cracking sobs starting in your rib cage.
“But Tess I’m begging you, please don’t tell Sarah. Sarah loves Joel so much, finding out this way would devastate her. She doesn’t deserve to pay for our fuck up. She doesn’t deserve to learn about it like this, please don’t tell Sarah. Please.”
The sobs begin in earnest and you try to swallow them down once more, your chest heaving. When you finally glance up you can see that Tess is glassy-eyed and ignoring you there on the floor.
“I wanna talk in private,” Tess says, looking at Joel. “You owe me that much.”
You continue sitting there on the floor, tears streaming down your face until you feel Joel’s hand gently alight on your shoulder.
"Can you give us a minute?" Joel asks you. "I'll send a text."
For some reason this hurts more than anything. To know that you’re the one being asked to leave in all of this. And yet you nod, grabbing your phone from the nightstand and leaving quickly, tightening the robe around your middle.
///
You’re sitting in the pool area, lying on one of the puffy chaise lounges. It’s been two hours of scrolling your phone and wiping away tears as you try to face away from the families splashing around in the pool.
Joel loves you.
Sarah is going to hate you.
Joel loves you.
You keep waiting for Sarah to call you in tears, screaming at you for ruining her life. When your phone buzzes you feel your stomach jump. You raise the screen to your face with shaking fingers.
[HIM 💜]: She left.
The trudge back to the hotel room is a slow one, your heart heavy. There’s no way Joel is going to want to continue this with you. And you’ve realized now that it’s going to break your fucking heart when he ends things.
You slip past him when the door opens, trying to mask your tears. You go to the bed, looking at the rumpled sheets and your red panties strewn to the side. It doesn’t look like the bed of two people in love. It looks like the bed of two selfish people.
Joel rests a hand on the doorknob, shoulders hunched at his ears. You can see the red at the back of his neck when you look back at him.
“Is she gonna tell Sarah?”
“No.”
“You’re sure?”
“I’m sure.”
Joel says it firmly, without question and you believe him. You want to ask him what he and Tess talked about, but at the same time you don’t want to know. You don’t want to think about how hurt she was.
And now you can’t stop thinking about Joel loving you. He loves you. Love. And you love him. This should be a time of celebration. But instead you stand there, eyes on his feet. Because love won’t be enough. He won’t want this with you, not at such a cost.
You blink back the tears and try to steady your voice.
“I guess we’re over, then?”
You make a motion between your bodies, waiting for Joel’s agreement. When several moments pass in silence you finally raise your gaze to Joel’s. He’s put a t-shirt on, but he still wears his boxers. He looks so vulnerable, despite his breadth and you can see the gloss that has begun in his dark eyes.
"Baby, come here."
Without thought you cross the room and move into his waiting embrace, arms banding around his waist. He holds you tightly to him, your head tucked under his chin. He sways you gently from side to side, his heart under your ear.
“I don’t want us to be over,” he murmurs against the crown of your head. “But I understand if this is too much for you.”
You hold him tighter, the tears no longer flowing. Being in his arms feels so safe and so right. You hate how right it feels in Joel Miller’s arms. If it felt even a tiny bit awful you could turn away, you could walk from this hotel and never give him a second thought. As it is, you feel something deep and eternal for him.
"Did you mean it? About loving me?"
Joel’s large hands move to cup your face, turning your red-rimmed eyes up to face him. He stares at you in that impossibly soft way that only Joel Miller possesses. The kind of way that spells affection in the flecks of honey in his iris, the way that shows adoration in the round of his pupils.
"Yeah," Joel whispers and suddenly he looks like a lost little boy as you stare up at him. "Is that okay?"
It takes everything in you not to cry again. You’re sick of crying. You want to remember how Joel is looking down at you now. How your hands lay against his waist, holding him. How in this moment you’ve never loved anyone more.
"Yes,” you finally whisper back. “Joel, I've loved you for so long."
“I know,” Joel admits, his eyes glassy. “I’ve been in love with you for a long time, baby. Was just scared to admit it, I think.”
His mouth finds yours, his hand sliding to the back of your neck as you wrap your arms around his waist once more. There’s no heat in this kiss, just a deep abiding love that you sense with every soft dab of his lips against yours.
“I wanna take care of you,” Joel murmurs, kissing the corner of your mouth. "I want you to come back to Austin with me. I want you to come stay with me for the summer. Please say yes."
Your stomach jumps in both anticipation and tremendous fear. This is a huge step for the both of you. And you’re scared that Joel is offering this because of how horrible this evening was with Tess. You bring a thumb to stroke his cheek, smiling up at him gently.
“Let’s go to bed,” you say.
Joel blinks before nodding, pressing a full-lipped kiss to your mouth before taking your hand in his and leading you to the bed. The two of you are completely wiped from everything. Still wearing your robe and Joel in his boxers, the two of you collapse into bed. Joel flicks off the light and draws you to him.
“I love you,” Joel murmurs against your forehead. Your heart sings at the sound of it and your mouth curls into a soft, contented smile.

You wake the next morning with a strange sensation. A mixture of joy an apprehension as you open your eyes. Joel is already awake, balancing on one arm and looking at you with a gentle smile. His hair is mussed from sleep, the curls flattened on one side. That shouldn’t make your heart jump with affection, but it does.
“Was wondering when you’d wake up. You were out like a light.”
“Shit,” you say, propping yourself onto your elbows. “What time is it?”
“Doesn’t matter,” Joel soothes, brushing the hair from your eyes. “I got us a late checkout.”
“Thanks.”
Your eyes drop to the space between you on the bed. A small sliver of waved blankets that in this moment feel like a canyon. You smooth your hands over it, feeling the soft texture. Joel watches this, you can feel his eyes on you. He knows you so well.
“What are you thinkin’ about?”
“About what you asked me last night,” you admit. “About coming to Austin with you.”
Joel grows serious, taking a slow inhale. “And?”
“I’m worried you’re saying it because of everything with Tess,” you admit, fingers plucking the bed sheets absently. “And I don’t want that. I want it to be because it’s something you want, not something you feel obligated to do.”
Joel launches himself off of the bed before you can finish your thought. You watch his broad shoulders bared, his body covered in only his boxers as he knees down, rummaging for something in his suitcase.
You stare at him puzzled when he comes back with an envelope and a small square box.  He sits across from you on the bed, his large frame comically child-like in the cross-legged pose. He passes you the envelope first.
You open it, confused when you pull out a long piece of paper until you realize what you’re looking at. An airline ticket to Austin and your name in on it. Your eyes dart in surprise to Joel’s open gaze. He sits with his hands folded on his muscled thighs. He rubs the palms along them a few times before nervously swallowing.
“Wanted this for a long time,” he tells you. “Longer than I wanna admit.”
A smile breaks out over your features. This wasn’t a last minute plan to smooth over what happened last night. He wanted you to come back with him to Austin for a while. Living with him for an entire summer.
“I was gonna ask you properly last night,” he admits. “The same time I gave you this.”
Joel takes your chin in his thumb and forefinger, stroking sweetly before motioning to the box between the two of you. It's a small square box in a color you know too well: Tiffany blue wrapped in a black ribbon.
"Open it."
You do slowly, feeling nervous with Joel's gaze on you. The ribbon drifts to the floor until all you're left with is a small square box with Tiffany & Co embossed on the front. You let your fingers trail over the grooves of the letters.
He wouldn't propose.
No it's too early. It's too much. You can't possibly say yes can you? No, it's insane. His divorce isn't even finalized yet. Your trembling fingers open the box, eyes widening until you see what rests inside.
Relief floods you when you see a delicate silver chain and pendant sitting on the velvet cushion inside. It's simple; a thin x with diamonds in each of the empty spaces and the shape is unmistakable.
A snowflake.
It's on a slender silver chain that sparkles in the light as you remove it from the velvet cushion.
"Here, lemme put it on ya," Joel murmurs, taking the delicate jewelry in his wide fingers. You twist away from him, sliding your hair over one shoulder. You feel him fumble with it against the nape of your neck and you hold in a shiver at the sensation.
"Perfect," be murmurs, tracing a finger along the chain.
"It's just ... This is so much, Joel. The necklace, the hotel, the massage.” Guilt gnaws at your belly.  “Did you get anything for Sarah?"
Joel's head tilts slightly as he regards you. "You're worried I didn't get anything for Sarah?"
"I guess ...” you falter. “I just ..."
"I got her a ring made from one that used to belong to her mom. I paid for her and Charlie to stay at a swanky hotel in town for the weekend," Joel promises, kissing the worry from between your brows. "Plus a few other things that ain't your business because she's my kid."
He says the last part in a jesting tone, pinching the end of your nose in his knuckles and squeezing gently a moment. Relief floods you at this admission.
 "Good."
Joel surveys you a moment, features drawn. He takes your hand in his, wide thumb tracing the back.
"My daughter will always be my biggest priority," Joel informs you, concern trailing over his strong features. "You never have to worry about that."
"Alright."
Joel swallows.
"But you also need to understand it, too. I need you to be okay with it, cuz that ain't changing. She's always gonna be my kid."
Adoration flows from you as you look at Joel. The difference between he and your parents rearing is so stark it fills your eyes with tears.
"I think that's why I fell for you from the start," you admit without thinking. "Because of how well you love her."
Joel's face is pure sweetness as he looks at you.
"But that doesn't mean you're not a priority too," he tells you with earnestness. "You're my girl."
His large palms come to either side of your jaw, tilting your mouth to his. His girl. How long did you pine over Joel Miller dreaming of a life where you're his? And now you are. Here in his arms, kissing him fiercely.
You break apart, flushed happily. You look back at your necklace, tracing the small pendant before turning it over. Your brows knit together in confusion as you see the engraved letter on the back.
"H?"
"For Heather," Joel tells you shyly. "I just know she'd be proud of you, baby. Maybe even more than me."
And that’s it, the moment you fall so hard for Joel Miller than no one could catch you. Your heart overflows with affection for him as you launch yourself into his lap, holding him. Everything about him feels right as he pulls you against him, his breathing soft and steady.
“I wanna come back to Austin with you Joel,” you tell him with a watery smile. “I wanna spend the summer with you.”
“Are you sure, baby?” Joel asks, concern clear in his features. “I don’t wanna pressure-“
“I’m sure,” you answer, your mouth kissing his jaw, then his lips. You pull back because there is something so engaging about Joel’s eyes. You see everything in the depths of his large, chocolate colored gaze.
"Joel... How do you just..."
"Just what?"
"See me," you say softly. You can’t find another word to describe it. All the things you’ve tried to keep hidden, the secrets, the shame, he sees it all. And he loves you through all of it.
"Same way you see me," Joel offers.
Joel's eyes are so impossibly soft as he stares at you and when you press your mouth to his, he's so warm. You’re convinced that if you cut your veins they would bleed the color of Joel’s eyes, that your heart is wrapped up in his flesh, that you are a part of him and he’s a part of you.
"Make love to me," you whisper against his lips.
You don't know that it's possible considering all that’s gone on in the last twenty four hours. But you need to feel him inside you right now; you need to be as physically close as two people can be.
"Of course," Joel murmurs back his nose gently tracing yours. "Whatever my girl wants."
Any fears that he won't be able to perform are allayed when he brings your thigh over his and you feel his hardened cock at your entrance. You both shimmy out of your under things, kicking them onto the hotel floor. He removes the robe from your body and on his side he holds you, thumb rubbing the plush of your hips. He urges your thigh over his hip and then he slides into you slowly, both of you gasping softly at the sensation of his cock and your cunt meeting in pleasure.
“I love you so much sweet girl,” he tells you. “So much.”
“I love you too,” you whisper, eyes locked on his. “I've never really been in love before."
And it's true, you realize as Joel slowly and sweetly makes love to you that you've never actually loved anyone. You thought you loved Conrad but that was an infatuation. He never saw you like Joel does. He never held you like Joel is holding you now.
He holds you like a cherished artwork, like something precious. Like you’re worth something, even though your whole life you’ve been told the opposite.
His mouth goes to your neck, kissing and licking there as you whimper against him. He gently moves you onto your back and you let him take control of the motion. Your hands lace in Joel’s at the side of your head, holding you in place, his body sliding along yours.
"Gonna hold you like this every day in Austin," Joel breathes as he continues to slowly thrust into you deeply from this angle. "Gonna cook for you. Gonna take you on dates. I’m gonna take care of you."
"I want that too," you breathe, mouth over his, swallowing his cries. "Wanna be with you so much, Joel.”
He notices your eyes closed tightly, body rocking gently against his. He lets this happen a few moments, watching as your body begins to flush and your brows saddle. But soon he feels himself approaching his climax and he needs your gaze.
"Eyes open for me, pretty girl," he murmurs and your eyes crack open at his request.
The two of you stare deeply into one another's eyes, the moment heavy. You can see Joel's mouth starting to quiver as he breathes, something he does when he's about to come. He holds you tighter to him and neither of you can look away when your climaxes overtakes you.
He spills into you while crying out your name, you follow soon after with his name half-uttered before your groans of pleasure become too much. You both stay like this a moment, he soft but still buried within you. You kiss fiercely, desire flooding you both at the knowledge that this is only the beginning.
“Better get you to the dorm,” Joel offers. “Gotta pack for Austin… As long as that’s still something you want?”
You see the indecision in his eyes, the continued concern that he’s forcing you into something you don’t want. You hum a soothing noise before you press a palm to his whiskery cheek, watching him go from nervous to calm at your touch.
“I can’t wait.”

hi! can you write something about dorm mate!geto arguing with reader but then they would apologize (idk whose fault it was) please 🙏
A/N: Thanks for the idea bby!! Plot twist: they don’t apologise, you know I love miscommunication tropes right? 😋
Dorm mate Geto: Just friends
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s Friday night and you find yourself at one of Gojo party friends’ party again. It’s kind of a tradition. You, Gojo and Geto heading out for a party so get that much needed social time in your busy lives. You don’t join them all the time, but when you do, you feel good.
You and Shoko laugh at the drunk Utahime who was having the time of her life. You enjoyed watching your usually uptight friend letting herself go once in a while.
But when she started loudly explaining why Gojo was unfuckable, you and Shoko decided maybe it was time to leave the party.
“Come on Princess” Shoko says sarcastically to Utahime, while you help bring the drunk girl to her feet. “Let’s get you home. Hey y/n, you need a ride home babe?” Shoko asks, swirling the car keys around her finger.
“Nah I’m good thanks Shoko” you say with a smile. “I’ll see if Geto’s ready to go” you add, knowing Gojo was probably hooking up with someone right now.
“Cool. See you later chick” Shoko says and you wave goodbye to them before walking back to find Geto. You check your phone, 00:31 it reads. Past midnight, okay time to leave a party right?
You squint, looking to find the black long haired man, but when you finally spotted him, you wished you didn’t.
Your handsome dorm mate sat on a sofa, with some pretty girl wrapping her slender arms around his broad shoulders. He whispers something in her ear with his signature lazy smirk, the girl laughs brightly. No doubt Geto said a dry but flirty joke, something you thought was reserved only for you.
You think you feel a bit sick. Heartbroken was what you actually felt. He hasn’t seen you yet, you hope it stays that way. You hope he didn’t see you foolishly waiting on him, while he got cosy with some other girl.
Was it always like this? Did he always get cosy with other girls but your delusions made you think it was only you? How silly. What you once thought was a sweet blooming romance between you and a dear friend was nothing more than a minor situationship to him.
You turn your heel and speed out the house before you could embarrass yourself anymore.
1:01 AM
You swirl your ramen absentmindedly in the pot, hoping the warm noodles will fill the emptiness you feel in your stomach.
Suddenly you hear the door open and shut. You didn’t dare look up, there’s so much to stay but you choose to stay silent, hoping Geto won’t notice you in the dim lighting in his drunk state.
But that never works.
“You hungry doll?” Geto chuckles as he spots you. You don’t answer, scared your voice will crack.
“Well how about I help out and make you some hot cocoa yeah?” He says, with a smile that feels fake to you now.
“No. I don’t want a drink” you say abruptly, you cringe internally, knowing how rude you sounded, but you can’t help but feel resentful.
Geto stops in his tracks, slowly turning towards you, long hair strands framing his face.
“You okay hun?”
You wince, ‘hun’ was the last thing you needed to be called by the man who just broke your heart.
You silently just stare at your ramen, trying to play it cool, be the chill girl who doesn’t really care, but you already messed up. You were a born a person who cared too much.
“You shouldn’t call me that.”
“What? Why?” He says, an unimpressed frown on his handsome face. You stare silently at your ramen again.
You sigh when Geto pushes in front of you and turns off the stove so that he can have your attention.
“Look at me and tell me what’s wrong” he says.
You cross your arms almost in defence, disobeying him by staring out the window instead. “What am I to you Geto?”
“My favourite girl, of course” he answered softly in a heartbeat, taking a step closer to you, but you move backwards.
You shake your head. “No” you say, “that’s not what I am. What is our relationship? Are we friends or more?”
The room falls silent.
You sigh, wishing you never asked and hurt your own feelings. The silence answered your question. Friends.
“If we are friends, then we should put some distance between us” you say bravely.
You look up at Geto, to find the usually composed, chill guy look shattered. Black eyebrows furrowed, mouth slightly open. You’ve never seen Geto look off guard, you almost feel bad.
“Oi… what do you mean by that?” You can hear the anger bubbling through his throat, he’s trying his best to stay calm.
“I mean stop flirting and touching me Geto, do that with the girls you’re romantically interested in” you assert your stance, slightly raising your voice to your own surprise.
“Thats-“ Geto starts but he doesn’t finish his sentence.
He pauses before starting, now stepping away from you.
“I’m.. sorry I caused any inconvenience for you. I won’t do it again.” He says formally, putting his hands in his pockets and walking out the small dorm kitchen. Black hair stands dangling in front of his face as he keeps his head down.
Leaving you alone with your broken heart again.

- pandora, omitikaya forest, 2167 -
The years had melted away quickly, your heart no longer yearned as it once had for the life you could have had because you were content with the life you lived. Everyday that passed your love grew for the children, though it was an easy task to begin with. From Neteyam to Tuk, you were sure Eywa had blessed Jake and Neytiri with the calmest babes. Before you knew it five years had passed.
Memories from the past years fluttered your mind as you readied yourself for the celebration that would be held for the clan shortly.
Lo’ak and Kiri had instantly found comfort in you as they missed their mother. You had always been around, you and Neytiri were practically attached at the hip and you had joined her and Jake during every birth of their children. They were still not quite old enough to understand why Neytiri was not around, but your constant presence eased the yearning a bit. They both had already seen you as somewhat of a mother figure so the transition did not affect them as much. Your bond with the two seven year olds was strong from the start.
As the years passed Kiri enjoyed watching you work as you healed her father or brothers. She especially appreciated it when she suggested certain alternatives to ease the pain for the wounded and you listened. She adored the fact that she had three mothers, how you talked about Neytiri and kept her spirit alive. Besides your constant presence, that was always comforting and warm, your respect for Neytiri was felt even in the way you spoke of her. As if she was still physically around.
Lo’ak was the wild card, which had been a big shock as when he was a tiny child he was always so quiet. Often playing by himself or wanting to be dotted over by you. For the first two years he was the one that clung to you quickest, and as you coddled him to get him to sleep he would mumble out that your skin felt like Neytiri’s and the sleep would instantly find him. Even now as his rebellious nature reached an all time high and Jake would scold the young boy he found solace in you. You were the gentler parent out of the two and anytime a scolding was too rough on him he’d find himself unable to part from you. You comforted him in a way he only vaguely remembers Neytiri had.
Unfortunately for Tuk she had no recollection of Neytiri, her love for you knew no limit because in her eyes you were her mother. The one she cuddled into if she had a nightmare, the only one she let braid her hair. You were everything to the small girl. Her favorite time with you was when all her siblings were gone and she had you all to herself, you taught her how to make necklaces and weave baskets, all while you told her stories of Neytiri and Jake. She felt Neytiri everywhere, she knew she was around and felt the love her mother had for her through you.
All the children had grown to love you, but it was hardest on Neteyam as he was almost nine when you stepped into the role. But his appreciation for you grew each day as he realized how much you cared for him and his siblings.
It was evident even now, just yesterday he completed his Iknimaya and you were the first person he ran to. He nuzzled into your embrace as he recalled everything that happened with his Ikran before he made the bond. “Sa’nok! Dad said I claimed my Ikran faster than he did!”
You felt like something had tugged at your heart as you stared at the tall boy, he had never called you mother before. “Oh my sweet boy, I am so proud of you!”
Your thoughts were cut short as someone behind you cleared their throat, you jumped lightly as you turned to look at who had entered the home. It was Jake. “Hello, Jake.”
You turned back to what you were doing, mixing the white paste to create a paint. Things had never really changed between you and him, just a comfortable routine. He respected you in the way a mate should, same for you. But neither of you really went past being cordial with one another despite the longing feeling that nestled into your heart at your close proximity with the Olo’eyktan. But that was all it was, a feeling that was fleeting then hit you all at once, one that you had pushed so far back you didn’t even know what you felt for the man. “I came to see if you were ready, the clan is ready to begin celebrating.”
Your fingers dipped into the paste and you painted four lines on each side of your upper arms, “I will be ready shortly, you can go on.”
Jake sighed quietly, he had been feeling awkward around you lately. He couldn't place exactly what it was but the feeling was burrowing deeper into his chest as the weeks went on. “I think it is best if we enter together. We always do so, it might make everyone think something is wrong.”
Your brows furrowed together in confusion but you did not comment on it. Your fingers continued to paint gently across your collar bones and up your throat all the way to the plump of your bottom lip. You adjusted the intricate feathered loin cloth, one that was far too fancy for a regular day but it sat nicely on your frame for the party that was sure to last most of the night and well past eclipse. Your top was covered in gold and emerald beads and sat high on your chest, your torso was exposed more than usual and Jake found it hard to look away.
He swallowed uncomfortably as you looked at him, “Ready?”
You did not wait for him to respond and made your way outside of the tent, walking past families who were making their way towards the large clearing in High Camp. Jake followed behind you, the sound of the beads distracting him slightly as he tried to keep up with your swift steps.
As you both entered the clearing it was filled with loud chatter, the music even louder as you felt the vibrations on your feet. The trees surrounding the premises were decorated with vines and leaves that glowed under the fire, “This will be good for the clan.”
You were smiling as your steps slowed down, walking besides Jake towards the center of the room. Each Na’vi you passed sent both you and Jake a peaceful smile, greeting you properly as you both motioned the greeting back.
“Yes it will. It will be some form of distraction from what has been happening with the Sky-people.”
“Hopefully.”
After you had settled into your seat, Jake began his speech. Congratulating the young warriors, naming each of them one by one. He reminded them of the responsibility the mantle held and how honorable and important their role was within the clan. They were reborn and accepted as adults and they would now assimilate to the needs of the clan. He let Mo’at take over as she guided a prayer to Eywa, the clan in complete harmony as they sent their gratitude to the Great Mother.
Jake chimed in moments later, “Let the celebration begin!”
The music picked up again, laughter and loud chatter filled the space. Your ears twitched slightly as Neteyam made his way towards the two of you. A nervous smile on his face, the words tumbling out of his mouth, “I am not expected to find a mate tonight, right?”
Your hands flew to your mouth as you tried to stop yourself from laughing. Neteyam had never brought that topic up to you and as you turned to look at Jake you figured he had not done so with him either. His cheeks were a dark purple, clearing his throat as he looked for the words to say, “No-why would you think that, ‘itan?”
Neteyam’s shoulders visibly relaxed as he shrugged, “That is all people keep telling me to do now.”
“Do not worry about that now, go have fun.”
Neteyam smiled at you, sending another one to his father as he retreated back to his friends, “Eywa, I did not think we would have had to have that conversation for another few years.”
Jake laughed quietly, “Neither did I.”
The next few hours went by smoothly, the clan had come together and everyone’s hard work was evident with the energy surrounding you. There was a change in music and everyone began making their way towards the center. It was a traditional dance all Na’vi knew and it was one of your favorites.
You sighed quietly as everyone lined up, mind drifting as you imagined what your life would’ve been like. If you would be dancing with your mate who loved you? Who would be sitting besides the Toruk Makto? If you would have had kids yourself already. A sadness you had not felt in a long time began to wrap around your heart. You blinked back the tears that pooled at your eyes as you watched everyone begin to dance.
Jake was about to comment on Neteyam and Lo’ak being dragged to dance but the words were cut short as he saw your watery eyes. He had not seen that look in your face in a very long time, sadness and longing and he felt something tug in his chest. He noticed how your head slightly moved to the sound of the music, your eyes glazed over as you watched everyone dance and laugh. Before Jake could stop himself he was up, “Come.”
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as Jake towered over you from his standing position, “Let’s dance.”
You were not sure why the request shocked you so much, but it did. Your eyes widened as you looked around, not believing he was talking to you. “You want to dance? With me?”
He rolled his eyes lightly, grabbing your wrist as he pulled you up from your seat, “Yes-now let’s hurry.”
Jake made haste as he dragged you along and your mind raced as nerves bubbled in your chest. There was a time, maybe two years back where your feelings for Jake had begun to confuse you. It stemmed out of loneliness and even though you did not want to admit it, attraction. It was hard, you were sad and though you had love poured onto you from the kids and the clan, there was always something missing. Some hole that was never filled.
And it scared you, caused the guilt to eat at your soul because of Neytiri, and you promised you would never let your emotions consume you that way, not for Jake. This was far too close and far too intimate, something that you had never felt with the Olo’eyktan. You were pressed side by side as body’s moved around the two of you. Your hands and hips swaying to the music as they moved in the routine you knew like the back of your hand. Your eyes locked onto Jake’s neck, you did not want to reach his eyes as both of your hands extended towards him, ghosting over his chest as your hands ran up and down. You could feel the warmth of his skin and it caused a shiver to run up your spine, trying to focus on anything but him.
Your skin erupted into goosebumps as his hands fell to your waist, moving them gently side to side to the beat of the music that was pounding in his ears. Your skin was soft, and his fingers were calloused, moving up the side of your ribs and extending them to your hands as they moved. It bothered him that you would not look at him, his head was tilted slightly as his eyes raked all over your form. Cheeks flamed a dark hue as the sound of your beaded top distracted him once again. He looked up and his eyes finally locked with yours, and it took him back a bit.
Your gaze was soft, almost shy like you had no idea what to do with yourself and he felt the exact same why. Every graze of your fingers that touched against his skin felt like fire running through his skin. It felt so foreign and he hated that he didn’t want it to end. He was wishing the song would go on for hours because he’s never had you this close, didn’t know if he’d get to again. This feeling was new and all consuming, he was scared.
The song ended and everyone stilled, it felt like someone had thrown ice cold water on him as he stared at you. A gnawing feeling clawing at his chest as he locked eyes with you again. Guilt.
He felt the need to apologize, as if he made you two cross a line you both never had before. Before he could, you turned stiffly away from him and made your way back to your seat next to Mo’at.
-
The night progressed and the sun was starting to cast a pink hue over High Camp, the crowd was still in full swing but with Mo’at deciding to retreat you did the same. Tuk was curled into you, deep in sleep as you adjusted her to begin the walk back to your family tent.
Your eyes quickly scanned around looking for the other three kids, Lo’ak and Netyam were with Jake, laughing about something he had said. Your eyes briefly locked with his as you were turning to look for Kiri.
She sat beside other young Na’vi girls, singing along to the music that was still playing. You began to make your way through the clearing, soothing Tuk’s back as she moved around in your arms, the poor girl was so exhausted. “Something is wrong between you and JakeSully.”
You turned to look at the Tsahik, she did not spare you a glance as she kept walking, “There is nothing wrong between us.”
“Yes there is, do not lie to me. The Great Mother speaks to me, gives me signs and something has been wrong since your union. She is unhappy.”
Fear gripped at your throat, you swallowed to try and ease the burn that began to burrow there. “You do not act like a mated couple. You both act as if you know nothing of each other. No kids either? Do you not want your own?”
“I am perfectly content with the life I have, Mo’at. And I have four children already, that is more than enough for both Jake and I.”
“You are just content? A union with your mate should not make you feel content, you should feel euphoric, happy, loved.”
You felt anger bubble in your chest at the older woman, she had no right to comment on what your life ended up being. All the things she felt you lacked were her doing, she planted the idea of the union, she pushed you and Jake to come together in a way neither of you ever wanted to. “What do you want me to say Mo’at? That I would gladly sacrifice myself for Jake to live a happy life with his kids? That nothing makes me happier than when he comes home and he is not injured or in pain? Do you want me to shout it out for the entire clan to hear? That I lov-”
Your ears pinned back as the words almost slipped from your tongue, your tail twitched in fear. Mo’at froze as she realized it was hard for you to even get the words out. “That you love him?”
She noticed small tears pooled in your eyes, “What is wrong, ‘ite?”
“Nothing is wrong, I told you already.”
Her eyes shifted behind you, you blinked the tears away, “Ah-JakeSully.”
You continued the short distance to your tent, Tuk feeling heavy in your arms as your whole body felt like it was going to cave in. Jake and the rest of the kids followed in shortly as you laid Tuk down.
Tears fell freely down your eyes as you stared at the small girl, trying your hardest to blink them away, “You should’ve had me bring her.”
You wiped at the tears quickly, “I was tired, I wanted to come home already and figured the four of you still wanted to be out.”
Jake’s hand gripped at your forearm, stopping you from leaving him again. His face was filled with concern as he scanned over your face. “Why are you crying?”
More tears fought to leak but you blinked them away, “Just one of those days. Peace of mind has been difficult for me to find lately.”
You removed your arm from his, something had shifted between the two of you and it scared you. You wanted no part of it.

Rick finishes his speech to the people in the building, then taking Daryl upstairs to discuss things. Meanwhile, you and Maggie walk around the rundown factory, watching the Saviors sort their cans of food.
“Well, hello there.” A voice catches your attention, making you turn around. Your greeted by a man with his hair half-tied up, wearing a grey sleeveless tank top. You shake your head and laugh at him, knowing he has no chance, your wife just a bit in front of you, talking to another Savior. “What’s funny, baby?” He grins, letting out a small laugh of his own. You let out a long sigh, “I’m taken.” You put your hand directly in front of his face, showing off the nice ring Maggie managed to get for you back at the prison. “Oh, I see.” He nods, pausing for a moment. He’s making it seem like he’s going to back off, but he proves you wrong when he opens his smug mouth again.
“Does that really have to stop us?” The man mumbles. “Us?” You raise an eyebrow. “I’ll stop you.” Maggie suddenly walks up to the two of you, “Hey, I’m her wife.” She seethes. The guy looks shocked, simply walking away as the girl stares him down. “Hot.” You joke, Maggie snaking an arm around your waist, letting the other guys that were staring you down know you’re hers.
This doesn’t seem to stop some of the men, however, as another one approaches you now that you’re once again separated from Maggie. This time, Rick and Daryl are surrounding you, the three of you discussing the future of the sanctuary. “Hey, ma.” The unknown man smirks, interrupting Rick. “Excuse me?” Rick glares at him. “Oh, you her husband?” The guy backs up a bit. “Nah, but she’s married and you’re a pervert, so back up.” Daryl defends you this time. “Oh, so you’re the husband?” He laughs.
You scoff, “I don’t have a husband, dumbass, I have a wife.”
“Oh, ya like girls?” His tone grosses you out even more than before.
“I like my wife, now go sort your food cans with the other’s before I starve your ass and take them.” You huff. He rolls his eyes and storms off.
“We aren’t going back there.” Maggie presses her lips into a firm line as the two of you enter your shared home, back from the trip to the sanctuary. “You don’t have to tell me twice.” You laugh, still feeling icky after the situation. “I’m serious, those men are pigs, all up on you like that.” Your wife takes off her flannel jacket and tosses it on the ottoman in the small living room as you grab a snack from the pantry. Taking a bite into a cookie, you raise an eyebrow, “Are you okay?” You ask her. She’s obviously not, she’s still seething after everything, angrily sitting down on the couch and sulking like a toddler that was denied a candy bar. “I’m fine.” She mumbles with her smooth southern accent. “You’re not fine, stop being like that.” You join her on the couch, offering her a cookie, which she denies. You eat the cookie instead, “You know you’re my wife, right? You’re the only one for me.” You turn to face her, looking into her beautiful green eyes, a small smile starting to form on her face. “I love you, hm?” You press small kisses all on her face until you reach her lips, waiting for her to say the phrase back. “I love you too.” She laughs. “Good.” You kiss her lips.

Tumblr media
It’s Sunday, one week until Christmas, and Joel Miller is beginning to lose his mind.
His daughters had been bugging him about baking Christmas cookies with them for weeks, and he wants nothing more than to make them happy, but while Joel is many things, he’s certainly not a baker.
Work has been hectic lately, which apparently led to him forgetting to buy the ingredients that the girls swear up and down they had requested several times.
He’s had to sent Sarah to ask one of their neighbors to lend them something twice now and by the looks of it, he’s gonna have to do it a third time. She groans and insists to take Ellie with her this time, complaining about how this is “sooooo embarrassing, Dad!”
Tumblr media
You furrow your brow when your doorbell rings for the third time in half an hour, a slightly disbelieving look on your face when you open the door and once again reveal the young girl from next door standing on your porch, this time accompanied by who you think is her younger sister.
You only moved into the house a month ago and don’t really know any of your neighbors, except for the elderly couple that lives a few houses over. They had introduced themselves hours after you moved in and have tried to invite you to come to Sunday church with them several times, an invitation that you consistently decline.
You know the girls though, you often see them through your windows, constantly pestering their father, who constantly fends them off in a kind of gruffy but clearly loving manner.
The girl who had introduced herself as “Sarah” when she first came by thirty minutes ago to ask for baking powder smiles at you apologetically.
“Hi… again. I’m so sorry, do you by any chance have cinnamon as well?”
You can't help but laugh this time. “What are you guys even doing over there? I think I do, why don’t you come in while I go check?” They nod and follow you into your kitchen where you start digging through your supply of baking ingredients.
“Our Dad said he’d bake Christmas cookies with us today, but he forgot to get the groceries for it,” the other girl explains. “I’m Ellie, by the way.” You smile and tell her your name, then hand over the cinnamon to them.
“That’s very sweet of your Dad,” you remark, “I’m sure he’s trying his best.”
Ellie’s eyes fly over your neatly organized collection of ingredients and baking utensils, then her face lights up with an idea.
“Hey! You look like you’re a good baker and our Dad is really struggling to be honest. Do you want to come over and join us?”
“Ellie,” Sarah argues, “you can’t just invite people like that, I’m sure she has plans already.”
You don’t, to be fair, but you’ve never spoken to their father before, who’s rather giving the impression that he likes to keep to himself.
“Oh, I wouldn’t want to intrude…” you begin, when Sarah looks around herself and notices that you don’t have any Christmas decorations up around your house.
“Or do you not celebrate Christmas?” she asks, “You obviously don’t have to come if that’s not…”
Your heart warms at how considerate the young girl is trying to be. “No I do, I just didn’t…” you trail off, not sure how to explain that it feels pointless putting up decorations just for yourself and that you don’t want the reminders that it will be the first Christmas in your life that you’ll be spending completely alone. You shake your head and plaster a smile on your face. You do like baking and maybe this will help getting you into the spirit.
“You know what? Okay, if it’s alright with your Dad, I’ll come over and see how I can help.”
Both girls beam at you and you follow them over to their house, where you find their Dad elbows deep in a mixing bowl with dough sticking to his fingers and swearing to himself under his breath. You feel awkward and definitely like an intruder but the girls’ mouths are going a mile a minute, explaining how you had soooo many baking supplies and that you had agreed to help them.
Their Dad introduces himself as “Joel” and you feel your cheeks heating when you notice how attractive he is up close. You had already thought that when you’ve seen him from afar, but now that you’re standing in his kitchen, it really hits you. Trying to snap out of it, you take a closer look at the dough that he’s fighting with.
“This needs more flour, then it’ll be less sticky,” you mutter, suddenly feeling a bit shy, and go to add it to the mix in his bowl. He huffs a “Thanks” and you smile, still fighting the heat in your cheeks but also feeling excitement buzz through you as your hand brushes against his when you pull back.
The girls kick back into action then, throwing several recipes at you that they want to try and you do your best to coordinate it all, running back to your place for ingredients several times, accompanied by an apologetic look from Joel every time, but you honestly don’t mind. His daughters are adorable and you’re having more fun than you’ve had in months.
Sarah turns on the radio and Christmas songs sound through the kitchen. With the music in your ear and the smell of freshly baked cookies in your nose, you feel at ease, comfortable.
When all the cookies are baked and thoroughly taste tested, the girls retreat to their rooms on the upper floor, leaving you and Joel alone in the kitchen. You find that you don’t want to leave, don’t want to go back to that big empty house where it’s just you, not now that you’ve basked in the warmth of this family home right next to yours all day. And just maybe, you want to spend more time with Joel.
“I have a bottle of pretty good red wine, shall I go and bring that? Half of my kitchen’s contents are here already” you joke and Joel laughs.
“I’m sorry about that, I’m usually better prepared, but work’s been crazy these weeks and the girls insisted on baking today, so…” He scratches his neck and you smile at him.
“Don’t worry about it, I’ve had a great time today. Finally got me into the holiday spirit a bit, I kinda really needed that.”
You walk over and take the wine bottle back to his place where you sit down in the living room, the Christmas tree that has been mostly decorated by the girls shining in the corner and the several strings of fairy lights that Sarah has spread all over the room glowing around you.
You feel a warmth and comfort that you haven’t felt in a long time, but also a kind of envy for this feeling of family, of how clearly this man and the two girls belong together, how their house is basically imbued with love for each other. A feeling that you’re not sure you’ve ever had, but that you suddenly find yourself desperately longing for.
“So…” Joel begins, a faint expression of uncertainty on his face. “Is it just you over there, or…?” You understand what he’s asking and nod, a wry smile playing around your lips.
“Yeah, it’s- it’s a bit of a long story, really, but yes, it’s just me.” The understanding is clear on his face and he doesn’t push you, sensing that you don’t want to expand on the subject and you’re grateful.
You still talk about both of your pasts, where you grew up, where you went to school, learning that Joel lost his parents when he was young, only two years after he had Sarah, how it had been just the both of them in the beginning, with the addition of his younger brother whom he speaks of with the loving kind of exasperation that only an older sibling can muster up, and how he adopted Ellie a few years later.
You finish the bottle quicker than you would like to, and when Joel walks you home and you’re both stood in front of your door, you’re drunk on more than the red wine, a happiness in your veins that warms you from within.
Joel clears his throat, his eyes trained on your face.
“Listen, I don’t want ya to feel pressured or nothin’, but would you want to come over for Christmas Eve? ‘S just me an’ the girls, nothin’ fancy, just-“ he shrugs, his hands buried in his pockets, “don’t like the thought of you alone in this house on Christmas.”
It might be embarrassing how quickly you say “yes”, but you can’t bring yourself to feel that way. A smile stretches across Joel’s face as he tells you “good night” and kisses your cheek before you step into your house and watch him walk back to his.
Tumblr media
Christmas at the Miller household is one of the best evenings that you’ve ever had. Sarah and Ellie have gone all out on the decorations now that they have a guest, leaving twinkling lights, glitter and ornaments in every corner and on every surface, Joel makes a surprisingly good dinner, you’re playing board games with the girls that dissolve into fights between them most of the time, everyone is talking over each other and you’re all eating chocolate until you’re sick with the sugar high.
Late in the evening, with both of the girls softly snoring on the couch, tangled up in each other like two overly large kittens, Joel and you are sharing another bottle of wine. You feel so full of happiness that you feel like you might burst, a smile on your face that feels like it’s never gonna leave again.
When it’s time for you to go home, Joel stands with you and walks with you to his front door. “Thank you again, for inviting me,” you smile at him, “this was probably the best Christmas Eve that I’ve ever had.”
He nods, his gaze dancing between your eyes and your lips.
“Merry Christmas,” you murmur, butterflies erupting in your stomach. He leans in and you hesitantly do the same. Before you can overthink it, you cradle his face in your hands and pull him towards you, your lips meeting in a soft kiss.
“Merry Christmas,” he whispers against your lips.
Tumblr media
i hope you liked this!!! merry christmas and happy holidays 🫶🏻

Would the listeners survive a zombie apocalypse? (In my slightly sarcastic, completely subjective opinion)
Idk man, I'm bored and got time to kill in church so here we are
(Tagging this is going to be a nightmare-)
(Edit from the future: It was. It really was.)
Redacted:
For sake of my sanity this isn't all the listeners, just the ones I'm still actively keeping up with (I'll get to the others...eventually)
Angel - Solid maybe. Out of all the unempowereds, definitely has one of the highest chances. But it would take an extreme streak of luck.
Babe - No...I'm sorry but no. Would be like one of those extras that you see eaten in the first minute of a horror movie.
Sweetheart - Probably. Can a zombie detect someone invisible? Sweetheart is smart enough to survive, they'll be fine.
Darlin - Yes if they have Sam to hold them back from sacrificing themself for the "greater good". No if they're left completely to their own devices.
Lovely - Depends on the version. Pre Adam, no. Pre Inversion, maybe? Post Inversion, definitely. Hard to die to a zombie apocalypse when you're a) already dead and b) literally immortal.
Treasure - Okay, I know Treasure is the newest addition to the roster and we haven't had a lot of time to see their personality develop but as of now? Yeah...no.
Freelancer - They'll do it on -3 hours of sleep simply out of spite. Freelancer has been through enough, they're just tired. They'd survive but begrudgingly.
Honey - Honey would survive out of spite and spite alone. Would definitely have that baseball bat from The Walking Dead.
GBA:
Guardian - ...you're kidding, right?
Darling - Yeah...no. Soft bby would never.
Faithful - Possibly? That stubborn attitude and medical abilities would help but has absolutely no combat training so ehhhhh, it depends.
Paradise - If she can break a pirate crew out of space Fort Knox and wrangle Yargwynn, a zombie apocalypse is pocket change. Paradise would own an apocalypse.
Partner - I swear I'll stop bullying the new additions. Once they're worth not bullying. The man made the zombie apocalypse, I guess we're gonna find out if he survives won't we? I'm not hopeful though.
Escaped:
Asset - No one in ATW even knows how to do basic math, the only way any of them survive is through sheer force of which they might actually be successful. So maybe.
Raven - Yes but she would have a mental breakdown about it so she would not be the same on the other side.
Slash - ...seriously?
Guest - Hm, a trained vampire slayer in a zombie apocalypse, I wonder what would happen! Obviously she'd be fine.
Intern - Entirely dependent on who they're trying to keep alive. If it's just them, probably. If it's them and the rest of their merry band of misfits, no.
Future Wife - You're funny. RIP my girl, no one will know her husband broke the fuckin timeline for some pancakes.
Agent Schäfer - Once the shock and panic wore off, yeah she'd be fine. Hope she doesn't get eaten during that freeze.
("Where's Lass?" When Desmond returns for more than five minutes, come talk to me about listening to Blue Infinity)
Nomad:
Pack Mom - Definitely. We already know she's a deadly shot and wasn't afraid to shoot a living person, a dead one would be fine. She will be perfectly fine.
Lass - Yes. Not with as much overwhelming power as Pack Mom but she'd get through it. I mean...she has formal sword training, I think she'd do okay.
Little One - Probably not. Out of the original Frosthaven romances, they are the least likely to survive. They'd put up a good fight though.
Lamb - Yes and no. Physically, she'd be just fine. Mentally, I don't know if she could do it. Slipping back into that killer mindset might just drag her under.
Chester's mate - Probably not. Out of all the new Frosthaven romances, they're the most average. They'd try though.
Harlow's roommate - No. I love them but no. Not our slightly stupid boat captain.
Caltraxus' TA - Yes and they'd hate it every step of the way. Would survive completely hungover if that was an option.
The Doctor - Probably? If not by her own merit then definitely through someone else cause everyone needs a doctor in the apocalypse.
Beau's mate - Yes. Literally fought a bear once. She will be just fine.
(The lack of fandom names for Nomad's listeners saddens me greatly. And also makes my work so much harder)
This was so dumb but I had fun so :P

Goodbye 2023!
Tumblr media
Thank you to everyone who sent in submissions - I have so much reading to catch up on now! 🥩💜🥩
If you have more fics to recommend for the SinBin, keep sending them my way.
I was originally going to break everything by category into the various P-boys, but the majority are one specific character. So we have two categories:
Joel Miller Fics
Other P-boy Fics.
I've included the comments (if there was one) for each fic submitted, but kept the submitter anonymous.
Beefro & the SinBin 🚮🥩💜
Joel Miller Fics (in no specific order)
Left in Lincoln - @toxicanonymity
Left in Lincoln. It's no secret my love for this series, and for my favorite Joelkémon, but this story is one I love not only for the slow burn sexiness but the horror elements in general. The balance of fear and horror with the soft, beautiful descriptions of the characters and setting make it one I return to over and over. The musical references and influence on the story is just the icing on the cake 🖤 Or ice cream on the pie, in this case 🍑🌸 Ty for the beautiful stories Toxy, and community to obsess over our mutual obsessions 🥰🖤
Scarecrow & Fear Thy Neighbor by @xdaddysprincessxx
So my first rec is @xdaddysprincessxx and her Farmer Joel series 🚜 All of her work is amazing but this one is so fun and soooo hot! (Heed the warnings though if you choose to read) I'm biased because I got to hear about her writing process and contribute some of my own thots 🤭 But it's not only sexy af (just like her!) but scary too!!! Be sure to read the sequel too 😉 She's not only a talented writer but a wonderful human in general 🖤
Help I’m Stuck! By @nosesitter
Reader gets “stuck” in the dryer. Luckily her father in law Joel just so happens to find her and helps 😉 her. When I read this I finally got the whole “oh no I’m stuck!” sex scenario lmao I always found it kinda funny bc in porn they’d be stuck in ridiculous spots but this fic? Fucking hot as hell. I get it now 🤷🏻‍♀️
I can be your pretty girl by @walkintotheriveranddisappear
Okay so I’m almost positive she is tired of me recc’ing & talking about this series lol it’s the hottest fucking fic ever. I genuinely am obsessed. It has everything. She deserves a Nobel peace prize for this idc idc.
A Secret Worth Keeping by @multiversed-daydreamer
Vamp Joel. I repeat Vamp. Joel. 🥵 and his vampirism is a secret and readers blood is his krptonite and she has to keep what they do hush hush. It’s so goddamn delicious 🤤
Fall into Temptation by @joelsgreys
Whew okay where do I start? Reader is the pastors daughter. Joel is Joel. 😏 they end up falling for each other and having a beautiful love affair. That has to be a secret bc her father would forbid it! Duh! It’s spicy, they have to sneak around to meet up with each other (again I am paraphrasing ish I don’t wanna spoil lol) and the religious tones in it? My baby is feeding me. This heals my religious trauma. Feeds my daddy issues and desire to fuck this old man.
Deliver Me From Nowhere by @atinylittlepain
It is beautifully written, touching a delicate topic with such care, it is truly an amazing work.
Just This Once by @talaok
Okay hear me out: this one brings the angst. The emotion. I felt so bad for reader, bby girl just wanted love. It tore me up inside. I had tears.
Self Indulgent Tendencies by @strang3lov3
So this was actually the first fic of Bugs I ever read. And. I. LOVED. IT. I’m trying not to spoil anything but long story short; Joel catches reader and fucks her to teach her a lesson. (I am extremely paraphrasing this lol) it still lives in my damn brain 🥵
Meet Me in the Back by @atticrissfinch
Sleazy gas station Joel. That’s it. That’s all. He is so sleazy and ugh I need his dick. And so does reader after she gets it. And she keeps coming. Back for more that is 😉
All You Wanna Do by @atticrissfinch
Now I am an angst queen. And boy this one is not for the weak. It is dark, please please please heed the warnings on this one. But personally I love this one. She has truly ripped my heart out, made my chest physically hurt. She invokes emotion so well.
No One But Me by @koshkamartell
This is a small blog's series that deserves to be promoted!
The Wrong Way by @romana-after-dark
Raider!Joel Miller and Raider!Tommy Miller x fem!Reader
Other P-boy Fics (in no specific order)
Dirty Uncle Ezra by @bonezone44
😏 yea I said it. Dirty Uncle Ezra. Hottest fucking concept I’ve ever heard. He’s so dirty and sleazy and ngh I’m already moaning. Also this beautiful human is an amazing artist so plz check out their art work 💜 (a note from Beefro: the fact that the age tag on this is 56+ made me laugh out loud)
Pascals Pursuit of Love! by @elvinaa (all the P-Boys!)
The innovation! It has all the P boys Bachelorette style. It’s so much like the show, it’s got twists and turns, there’s funny moments, cute moments. I look forward to each week aka each chapter lol I love it so much.

。・:*:˚✰
when they arrived, y/n was suspicious of the new family.
that girl.. she has an extra finger.
why are they so skinny?
how can they swim with such thin tails?
she thought they were so weird until she started talking to their daughter more. then she realized they weren’t so bad.
kiri and y/n had grown closer since they arrived. like, really close.
like so close, they’ve almost been caught making out well more than once.
they’ve been dating in secret for months now. kiri’s family had decided to stay after the war against the sky people and kiri and y/n are now secret girlfriends.
secret girlfriends who can’t seem to find a place discrete enough for them be alone.
right now, they were lounging on one of the many chain islands surrounding the main island of awa’atlu.
kiri had found a shell of a crab in the reef and wanted to show y/n her new discovery.
“look at these spikes. i bet it’s to fend off predators, what do you think?” she asked the girl while tracing the patterns.
kiri was so excited to show y/n, she forgot that y/n’s lived in the reef her whole life and she knows all about crab shells.
of course they’re to fend off predators, what else could they be for?
“i think you’re right. it’s really cool, kiri.” y/n chuckled.
“thank you.”
“oh, look over here.” y/n pointed to the tiny rocks and shells on the shore of the beach.
she picked up a shell, similar to puka shells from earth, and brought it back to kiri.
“we can make bracelets with these. i have string at home.” y/n told her.
“oh cool! yeah, let’s do it.” kiri took y/n’s hands and picked her up off the sand.
“wait, we can’t. my parents are at home. tomorrow, they will be busy. we can come back here tomorrow, okay?” y/n said.
“ugh, why can’t they just know..” kiri whined, holding onto y/n’s hands.
she chuckled softly and they spun around slowly.
“it’s so exhausting sneaking around.” kiri complained.
“i know.” y/n pulls her hands and gets kiri to stand up straight.
“and you know why we can’t say anything.” y/n said.
kiri rolls her eyes and sighs.
“i just need to talk to my mother first. when she sees that i’m in love with you and not with guy they want me to be with, i’m sure she’ll understand.” she explained.
y/n is next in line to be olo’eykte. and because her parents are very strict about tradition, they’ve promised her to a boy who will serve as tsahìk.
a loyal and wise leader, who has a strong connection to eywa and the world around them. for whenever the worst should happen to y/n’s parents.
he was nice to y/n, and she was to him. they were friends but nothing more.
neither of them wanted to be together but with their parents being the way they are, there wasn’t anything they could do.
“yeah, i get it.” kiri nodded. she looked down at the sand and took her hands away from y/n.
“let’s just go home then.” she muttered.
“hey.” y/n took her hand and got her to look up.
“you know i want to be with you and no one else.” she said.
“you keep saying that but-“
“you don’t believe me? okay, what if i… hm, what if i sing it to you?”
kiri looked at her weird. “what?”
y/n loves being obnoxious around kiri, and kiri only.
y/n starts to sing in an annoying tone of voice support loudly while flailing her arms around and calling it dancing.
“kiri, i love you!!-“
“stop, stop! okay, i get it!” she grabs her arms and puts them down before y/n slaps one of them.
“what? is my dancing no good?”
“it’s terrible!” kiri laughed.
y/n smiled at the sound of it. “please never dance like that again.” kiri sighs.
“hm.. okay. as long as you never doubt yourself again.”
kiri sighs. “fine. okay.”
y/n smiled and her hands go to cup kiri’s face. she kissed her lips softly before pulling away to look at her.
“come on, let’s go home.”
after arriving back home, y/n and kiri separated to go home to their own families for lunch.
y/n sat next to her sister eating her food while the rest of the family were discussing the guy she had to end up with.
tonowari looks at his wife. “do you need help with the food for the feast tonight, my love?”
y/n cringed at the nickname her father had for her mother. she rolled her eyes while still looking down at her food.
“i could use some help, thank you. i need everything to be perfect for tonight.” ronal sighs.
“why? it’s just a feast?” ao’nung asks.
“it’s not just a feast, it’s a celebration for your sister.” tonowari told him.
ao’nung didn’t really seem to care, so he shrugged and continued to eat.
ronal looks up at her daughter. “y/n.”
she doesn’t respond.
“y/n!”
she looks up. “huh. what?”
“you have your outfit picked out, correct?” she asked.
“can’t i just wear this?” she motions to her casual outfit, a green top and beige colored skirt.
ronal looks at tsireya. “please help your sister dress when it’s time.”
tsireya giggled at the insult while y/n didn’t find it funny in the slightest.
“what’s wrong with this? i think it’s pretty.” she complained.
“no one’s saying it’s ugly.” tsireya laughed.
“you’re beautiful as always, daughter, but tonight is a special occasion. that is what aekayo sees everyday, you want him to see you as a princess.” she tells her.
“princess? ugh.” y/n groaned.
“you will change into something formal. no more complaints.” she sighed.
y/n rolls her eyes discreetly and looks back down at her food.
when they finish, y/n goes to kiri’s marui to tell her about the feast.
her parents were discussing something in the corner when she walked in.
she greeted them while muttering “i see you.” they greeted her back and she walked in.
tuk was the first of the children to notice her.
“hi, y/n!” she smiled.
the older ones look over and watch as she goes to sit beside kiri.
“hi, guys. hi, spider.” she looks to the human boy and waved.
spider doesn’t like y/n one bit. he knows something is up between her and kiri but won’t say anything.
he gives a small wave and continued to work on his craft, which was just weaving a bunch of leaves together out of boredom.
“so, i came to tell you about a feast happening tonight.” y/n sighed.
she turns to kiri. “which i also need to talk to you about.” she whispered.
kiri nods.
“nice, what’s it for?” neteyam asked her.
“it’s uh.. for an engagement.” she said.
“what?” kiri adds.
“cool, for who?” lo’ak asked her,
yeah, who’s getting married?” tuk questioned excitedly.
“for uhm.. it’s uh a girl. you don’t know her. her and her boyfriend.” she lied.
“oh nice.” neteyam nods.
“yeah. so, that’s all. uh, kiri?” she looks at the girl and they leave the marui while the others stay talking.
spider watched them leave and nice they were out of view, he followed them.
“where you goin’, spider?” jake asked as he helped neytiri cut up fruits for their kids.
spider shrugs. “just going for a swim.”
“stay close. don’t go too far” jake told him.
spider is just as new to the metkayina as the rest of the family and isn’t exactly used to the new environment.
jake didn’t feel safe with him wandering all alone. but he is the same age as lo’ak and neteyam, so he’s trying to be more trusting.
spider nods and leaves the hut to see where kiri went.
y/n and kiri ended up taking a walk down the beach on the far side of the island where no one really went to.
“what’s up?” kiri asks.
“uh, i wanted to talk about the engagement thing.” y/n winced.
“what? but you said it’s for a girl we don’t know.” kiri laughed.
“i lied. i wanted to tell you first before telling the others.” y/n sighed.
kiri’s face scrunched up slightly. “okay..”
“the engagement feast is for me. and the guy i’m promised to.” y/n sighed out.
kiri’s eyes widen and she takes a half step back. she couldn’t say anything to that. all she could do was stare.
what else could you say to something like that?
the girl you love is promised to someone and now you have to go to a party to celebrate them being together.
“okay.. well, who’s the guy?”
“oh, aekayo. my friend, i’ve known him for a while.” y/n replied.
kiri didn’t want to hear anymore of this. an engagement party? so soon?
and who the hell is aekayo? was he cuter than kiri? did y/n like him more than she liked her?
“so, what does this mean? are we not going to be able to be together anymore?”
“no. no, i don’t want to leave you. i barely even like aekayo, let alone want to marry him.” y/n said.
she had to be very careful how she chose her words. anything taken the wrong way can cause her to lose kiri forever.
“look, i didn’t even know about this until before i went to your house. it’s just for my parents. if i could talk them out of it, i would, but my mother is very hard to convince.” y/n said.
kiri looks at her for a moment before down at the sand.
she sighed heavily. “so what am i supposed to do? just watch you and that guy all night?”
“i know what it sounds like. but i could really use you there for support. i don’t wanna sit with that guy all night either.”
kiri groans. “ugh, i really don’t want to. i’d rather just stay home.
“please? i promise after the feast, we can sneak off and do whatever you want. go swimming, go be alone, whatever you want.” y/n said, grabbing both of kiri’s hands in hers.
kiri rolls her eyes. “y/n-“
“kiri, pleasee..”
“fine! i’ll go but i won’t enjoy myself.”
y/n sighs in relief. “thank you, thank you!” she wraps her arms around the girl and hugs her so tight, kiri struggles to breathe.
“i love you so much, you’re the sweetest girl i’ve ever met!”
“yeah, love you too, please let go!- y/n!” she coughed.
y/n pulls away and goes to cup her face.
“i’m serious, kiri. i mean what i say.” she said.
kiri nods gently. it honestly felt like those words meant less and less the more y/n said them.
but what she was telling her couldn’t be farther from the truth.
“i know.” kiri sighed.
y/n smiled softly before kissing her face and cheeks and forehead and then finally leaving a peck on her lips.
kiri laughed trying to push her away.
“no!-“
“one more!”
“y/n-“
“one more, i promise.”
they look at each other before lazily hugging each other. y/n out all her weight on kiri, making her stumble back while trying to hold her up.
it made her laugh out while y/n was pretending to struggle.
“get up!” kiri laughed.
“my legsss, they’ve stopped working, kiriiii..” she groaned dramatically.
“no, they have not.”
“yes, they have. you have to help meee..”
“or i could drop you.” kiri loosened her grip on y/n and she yelped as thought she was going to fall. y/n’s hands flew around kiri’s neck to stop herself from falling.
“kiri!”
she chuckled softly and picked her up.
while they laughed and played around on the beach, spider watched with sadness from behind a boulder.
kiri never laughed that much, even around him.
it’s possible that she loves y/n more than she could have ever loved him.
spider sighs looking at them once more and makes his way back to the marui.
hours pass and it’s time for the feast. tsireya helped y/n pick out shiny gold accessories and seashell decorated clothing.
as they sat facing each other, y/n had her mind on kiri and how she must be feeling right now.
maybe i should just ditch the whole thing just to be with her.
“hey. y/n.” tsireya snapped her fingers in front of her sister’s face. y/n looked up at her.
“you’ve been zoning out all day. are you worried about something?” she asked.
“what? no, i’m okay. i’m just tired.” y/n shrugged.
“hm.” tsireya hummed. she looks up at her older sister with a smug face. “you know how i know when you’re lying?”
“how?” y/n chuckled.
“your ears go down.”
y/n rolled her eyes. “they do not.”
tsireya’s hand raises up and she moves y/n’s head to the side. she was right, y/n’s pointy ears were pointing downward.
y/n clapped her hand away while tsireya laughed. “okay, whatever.”
“so what’s up? tell me.” she says softy.
y/n can’t tell her sister anything, she’s a terrible secret keeper. not because she likes the drama.
tsireya’s very kind and loyal, but when she’s given a big piece of information and has to keep herself from telling anyone, her nerves will eventually get the best of her.
“i’m just nervous. aekayo is.. weird.” y/n shrugged.
“he’s cute! and nice.” tsireya said in an encouraging.
“yeah but.. he never smiles. he’s so serious all the time. that doesn’t fit me at all.” y/n shrugged.
“but he’s loyal. and who knows, within time, your shiny personality will affect him.” tsireya laughed.
y/n smiled. “yeah, sure.”
tsireya then places the final gold headpiece on top of y/n’s braided hair and adjusts it. she takes her mirror and holds it up to y/n’s face so she can see.
“i’m very lucky to have a beautiful older sister.” tsireya muttered.
“aw, tsireya.” y/n chuckled.
she gives her little sister a hug before their brother comes in to let them know that the party is ready for them.
the night begins with the village recognizing the young couple before starting the feast, with music and dancing.
everyone was having fun watching the dancers and joining in.
while some of the metkayina children were singing and dancing around with the adults clapping along with the rhythm, y/n sat awkwardly next to aekayo.
“you look pretty by the way.” he muttered.
y/n looks up at him. “thank you. uh- you look nice too.” she nodded.
“thank you.” he nodded back.
they look back at the scene in front of them.
neither of them wanted to do this.
“hey, can i ask you something?” he muttered.
y/n looks up at him again. “sure.”
“you’re just as bored with all this as i am, right?”
y/n felt relieved to hear him admit that. “yeah, a little.”
he chuckled. “good. i’m not the only one.”
y/n sighs. “you mean the engagement right?”
“both. i’m not really interested in getting married and i don’t like parties.” he admitted.
“you have no idea how glad i am to hear that.” y/n breathed out.
they chuckle and look back at the scene.
“so, you’re doing this to be tsahìk, right?” y/n asked him.
“yeah. and you’re doing this to be olo’eykte?”
“yeah. i love my people. i can’t wait to help them one day.” she replied.
aekayo looks at her. “really?”
“yeah.” she looks up at him. “what about you? you really want to be tsahìk?”
“i guess i do. i love my people too. but being tsahìk is my parents dream for me..” he shrugged.
“hm.” y/n nods.
“yeah, but… honestly, i think you could do it on your own.” aekayo says as he looks down at y/n.
she looks up at her. “lead the clan? no, i couldn’t.” she laughed.
“yeah, i’m sure you could.” he shrugged.
she smiled. “really?”
“of course. i think you’re very brave and compassionate. those are very important traits.” he says.
y/n smiled and looked at the children dancing.
“that’s very kind of you.” she said.
he hums in response and the two continue to, or at least pretend, to enjoy the festivities.
“uh, y/n?”
“yeah?”
“who’s that girl that’s staring at us?” he asks.
y/n looks away from the dancing and scans the crowd.
“where?” she asks as she looks up at him.
“there.” he nods his head instead of pointing as to not make it obvious.
y/n looks in the direction he’s gesturing and spots the sully family.
they were sitting in the front row. jake and neytiri were smiling while sitting next to each other, watching the people have fun.
tuk was one of the many kids dancing around and lo’ak, neteyam, and spider were sitting together while clapping along, smiled on their faces.
kiri was next to them and she was glaring daggers into aekayo’s head.
“oh, that’s.. my friend.” y/n almost said girlfriend before she caught herself.
“is she okay?” he asked y/n.
y/n looks at kiri and she makes a discreet face, almost like she was pleading.
kiri could read her expressions better than anyone. the girl rolls her eyes and looks away from the two.
“yeah. she’s fine.” y/n nods.
she looks up at aekayo. “she’s not your friend, is she?” he asked.
her heart drops. “of course she is. why do you ask?”
“that was a look of jealousy. and i don’t think i’ve ever talked to that girl in my life. so, she must be jealous of me.”
y/n was shocked at how quickly she was picking up.
when you’re quiet, you pay attention to the little things. and y/n is not quiet.
“uh-“
“but i’ve seen her around you multiple times.” he says. he looks down at y/n.
she sighed and looks back and forth from kiri to him.
“can you keep a secret?” she sighs out.
“of course.” he shrugs.
“she’s not actually my friend. she’s my girlfriend.”
his eyes widen. “hm. nice. so, does she always look like she hates you?”
y/n laughs. “she hated me when we first met.”
he laughs quietly with her.
“girlfriend. so, how is that going for you two?” he asks.
“it’s complicated. we’re both upset that i’m engaged but not to the one i want.” she sighed.
she then realized what exactly she just said and looked up at aekayo.
“sorry, i didn’t mean for it to sound that way.” she winced.
“no, it’s okay. i feel the same.” he chuckled.
she sighed. “i’m not engaged to the one i want either.” he looks off into the crowd and y/n followed his gaze.
it landed on a boy whose dark locs were decorated with gold charms, and had bright aqua green eyes. he looks up at the “couple” and smiled softly. aekayo smiled back.
“aw...” y/n mumbled.
aekayo looks down at her. “you won’t say anything, right?”
“i won’t if you won’t.” she shrugged.
he smiled and nodded gently.
the two continue to thank people for their congratulations, pretend to have fun, receive gifts from the village, and count down the minutes until they get to go home.
when the festivities finally do end, y/n doesn’t waste any time to find kiri at their spot.
she swam to the island on her ilu and found kiri waiting for her.
“hi!” y/n exclaimed.
“hi. you look really beautiful.” kiri smiled.
y/n feels heat rise to her face as she goes to hug kiri.
“thank you. that means a lot coming from you.” she sighs.
she pulls away and holds kiri’s hands.
“so, what do you want to do?” she asked her.
“you were serious?”
“of course, i- why would i lie to you? i promised, whatever you want to do.” y/n said
kiri thinks and thinks and she finally decided.
the two went back to the main island to a spot in the water filled with bioluminescent creatures and plants floating around.
a tide pool surrounded by rocks but there was a little area of sand where the girls could sit.
they sat close enough to touch some of the plants.
kiri was mesmerized by the colors and she pointed out every single one of them to y/n.
“i think this one’s my favorite.”
“that’s great.”
“and that one. the green anemone.”
“also great.”
kiri looks up and smiled at y/n. she loves that girl so much.
as kiri pointed at a tiny and funny looking fish, y/n laughed before looking over when she noticed something move in the corner of her eye.
she looks down the beach and sees her siblings walking together.
y/n’s heart drops but she doesn’t let it show.
“hi, you two. everything okay?” she asks once they’re close enough.
kiri looks up at her and then turns to look at the siblings. “uh. hi.”
“hi.” tsireya smiled. ao’nung looks up at his sister.
“our parents want to talk to you.” ao’nung said.
y/n and kiri look at eachother with weary faces before standing and following the siblings home.
when they arrived to y/n’s marui, her parents were sitting next to each other and quietly talking.
and kiri’s parents were standing against the wall of the marui taking to each other too.
all four of them watched the kids walk in.
“ao’nung, take tsireya elsewhere. we need to speak to your sister.” tonowari instructed.
they look at each other and then at kiri and y/n and leave the marui a second later.
kiri and y/n sat across from y/n’s parents, their nerves shooting through the roof.
“we know about you.” ronal started quietly.
y/n felt herself shrink when she heard her mom say that.
“be calm. you’re not in trouble.” tonowari says.
they look at him with confusion.
“while it would be better for you and for the village, you don’t.. have to be married to that boy.” ronal states.
y/n looks at her suspiciously. “really?”
“really.” ronal nodded.
y/n looks at kiri and kiri couldn’t help but smile softly.
“so.. we can be together?” y/n asks.
“of course. we want you to be happy. if you are happy with kiri, and she is with you, then yes, you can be together.” tonowari smiled.
y/n couldn’t believe it. she had a smile on her face but her parents couldn’t tell if she was surprised or happy.
she was both.
“so, we’re not in trouble?” kiri asks while looking up at her parents.
they shake their heads. neytiri smiled brightly seeing her daughter so happy and in love.
after a few more words, the girls left the marui hand in hand and smiling brighter than the stars.
they chased each other down the beach, cheering and at the top of their lungs, jumping around like little kids.
they ended up going I go the ocean, not far away from the shore.
they just had fun with each other, splashing water around and diving to see the life underwater.
they were ecstatic to be together freely. they didn’t have to hide anymore, they were free to be together and spend time together in the light of day.
“i can’t believe they found out.” kiri laughed out as they floated together.
“i can’t believe i wasn’t in trouble!” y/n exclaimed.
they laugh at the events of the night. they calm down after a while and end up simply floating in the water.
y/n had her arms around kiri’s neck while kiri’s were on y/n’s waist.
kiri was a bit taller than y/n, so she had to look up at her to talk to her properly.
“everything is good now. we don’t have to hide.” y/n sighed out.
“i know. it’s great.” kiri responded quietly.
“so.. do you think aekayo will still want to tsahìk?” she asked y/n.
“you know, he actually tells me that he does not want to be tsahìk. so someone else could take the position.” y/n said.
“maybe a girl from the forest, very pretty with short hair and the cutest smile-“
“stop it.” kiri laughs in embarrassment.
“what? you don’t think your smile is cute?”
“oh, no i do.” she replied smugly. y/n rolls her eyes.
“i think you’d be a great tsahìk.”
kiri sighs. “really?”
“of course. you have a great spirit. i feel it whenever i’m with you.” she says.
kiri smiled at the compliment.
“from the moment you arrived, the animals here, they loved you. you remember when i taught you to ride ilu? it loved you immediately, you had no trouble.” y/n told her.
“well.. yeah. but tsahìk? shouldn’t that role go to someone from here?” someone who belongs here?” kiri shrugs.
y/n looked taken aback. all that time that kiri’s been here and she still doesn’t believe she belong here?
“kiri, listen to me when i tell you.”
“hm.” kiri pretended not to take her seriously,
y/n took her hand and out it under kiri’s chin, making her face her.
“listen!”
“mph- okay!” she laughed.
“you belong here.” y/n said.
kiri’s expression softens. “you are metkayina now.”
she stared at y/n with admiration. “but i’m-“
“no. you are metkayina. say it.”
kiri rolls her eyes as y/n lets go of her chin. “i am.. metkayina.”
“good. do not forget.” y/n said quietly.
y/n’s hand goes back to it’s original spot on the back of kiri’s neck.
they look at each other for a moment before kiri kissed her for the first time tonight.
she pulled her closer as the girls stayed, kissing each other passionately.
i belong here.

Okay, let's continue.
So Alastor makes a few digs in about her family. He found out that her father had died a few years ago. She has three older sisters and one brother. He knew what he was going to do.
So one day, he invited all of her family members to stay for a month in New Orleans. He's not going to finish them all in one kill; it's going to look suspicious, especially on her behalf. So he's going to take them down, one by one.
First, he tricks her first sister into a tavern and buys her a drink that has poison. One down.
(Btw, I know he most likely killed them by hand in his way, but he needs to make sure the family is cursed by coming here somehow.) (So it's not going to look suspicious.)
Second, her brother. This one he killed by hand, but in the end, he made it seem like he died in an accident. He put his dead body on a car, then put a brick on the pedal, and off you go! Boom! It's crashed into another car.
For the last two sisters, they tried to flirt with him (he was disgusted by them). So he used this advantage to trick them into this one abounded warehouse in the middle of nowhere and killed them in the most brutal way possible. His heart only belongs to his wife.
Now for the mother. He already has her tied up in the basement. When he was about to finish him off, Katty came down to the basement to look for him. How shocked is she when she finds out about the scenery in front of her? Alastor tries to explain the situation while the mother begs her to let her go. She then slowly stood in front of her mother.
The mother: "Kat, please... Please let me go. Together, we report this psychopath's husband of yours and live a happy life. I know you never had a mother to grow up with. So let me give you one."
Kaltain: "You think I never know...why the reason my real mother died...? You think I never know why my father got into a car crash...? You think I will never find out that you are the reason behind this? I know you poisoned my mother, and I know you planned my father's accident. I would never want you, mother, love; you are not one to begin with. You make my life a living hell. Now I will make sure you end up in hell."
She then took a knife from one of the Alastor collections and stabbed her. Not once, not twice, but until she is satisfied and breaks down. She then slowly sank to the floor while crying. A pair of arms wrap around her and comfort her.
Alastor then cleans up all the evidence and gets rid of the body. He then returned home and comforted her all night. The next day, she confronts her husband to see if he is the serial killer they are looking for. At first, he was scared that she would leave him, but his wife offered to help him with his killing. He declined at first, worried something was going to happen to her, but then let her.
Surprise is written on his face when he finds out his wife is pretty good. So they became partners in crime (yeah!). One lures the victim; one finishes the victim.
Until he got shot. Oh, how sad Katty was sad when she heard the news! It took her a few weeks, maybe a month, to recover. So to continue his legacy, she keeps killing for him. This continues for 2 years until she gets murdered or shot.
When she woke up, she was in a forest or swamp. Her appearance is also different. A hand is offered to her; she looks up and finds her husband in deer form. He quickly jumped into his arms. They finally reunited. The couple couldn't be more happy than they were.
So they live happily ever after death.
The end <3

Can you do miyu version of that? (SooShuSo and Reader) pleaseee🙏🏼🙏🏼
~Sooyoung~
When I tell you these 2 love Sooyoung, THEY LOVE HER.
It’s really rare for them to agree on sharing her but when they do….
Safe to say the girls will barely get any alone time when she’s with Miyu
When these 3 are on live together expect NOTHING but PDA and “fanservice”
Like Miyeon is kissing Soo’s cheek and necks while Yuqi rests her hand on her thighs and pulls her into her
If the 3 of them do spend time together they do enjoy doing small stuff.
Like doing each others makeup , Taking pictures of everything, annoying Minnie, They do everything with their baby!
Threesomes between these 3 is never boring😵‍💫
Yuqi loves Sooyoung’s tits (because their big) and Miyeon loves her lips along with her lower lips
Yuqi will harshly and roughly finger Sooyoung while she has tears going down her face, she’ll also suck her tits while Miyeon makes out with Sooyoung finding her sounds pretty as she grinds herself on Sooyoung’s thigh
Yuqi and Sooyoung are the closest which leads Yuqi to be the most possessive over her since she was the first of the girls to date her.
Sooyoung and Yuqi are basically joint at the hip because of this and are the biggest ship out of all of the girls (SooyQi>>)
Yuqi BRAGS about this all of the time
She’ll just be on a date with Sooyoung (disguised of course) and will send a picture to the gc like “She likes me better!”😭
If Sooyoung isn’t reassuring the whole groupchat….then oh my god.
Sooyoung also draws Yuqi the most <3 it’s another way of her showing her love to her.
Her and Yuqi will sometimes just work in the studio together on songs, whether it’s concepts for Bsides or Random solo song ideas
They also love exploring??? Like they’ll go anywhere as long as the other is with them (even if they got lost once…)
Yuqi loves Sooyoung’s tits. Like she loves having them in her mouth sucking them
She’ll bury her fingers inside Sooyoung and just finger her, as well as circle her clit very fast and hard.
She brags about the fact she was the first one to fuck her out of the girls and make her squirt
She’s also the reason Sooyoung wrote Oh My God 🤭 it was literally about her
Miyeon and Sooyoung are the cutest together!!
She gets sad when she doesn’t get to spend time with her
And Sooyoung is the same way, she makes Miyeon kiss her before either one of them leave the house
And if Miyeon forgets Soo will go to her like “What about my kisses :(“ with a big sad face
They love to do each others make up, especially lip gloss.
Miyeon will hold Sooyoung’s hand at any moment she gets, it makes her feel better when her baby is near her.
Miyeon will sometimes do Sooyoung’s hair and will put little ribbons in it thinking it looks cute on her
Miyeon also loves giving her kisses, it’s her favorite thing to do
They can never just kiss once either, it turns into a makeout session pretty fast😭
Like when I say these 2 love kissing…they love kissing
They also love scissoring
She likes watching Sooyoung whine and squirm underneath her while she grinds her clit against Sooyoung’s
And these 2 are both VERY vocal and whiney too
So when they fuck all the girls gather by the door to listen to them moan
Overall these 3 are very much in love. Miyu loves their baby and will sometimes share her with the other but will not let ANYONE interrupt their time with her.
~Reader~
Ok so you’re dating both Miyeon and Yuqi???? GOODLUCK BBY!!
These 2 are obsessed with you. And it’s not fucking secret either.
They don’t like it when you’re away from them for too long so they tend to just stay by you whenever they can
They love to cuddle with you especially after long days it helps them relax.
Miyeon will be in between your legs while you’re fingers stroke her hair, and Yuqi will have you lay on her chest
Best believe they know all the best cute date spots. Even if their domestic like staying in the house and cuddling while watching a movie :(
They probably make cute gifts with you and just randomly give them to you to show their appreciation for their baby!
Sex with these 2😵‍💫 oh my god…it can be sweet and loving or hot and kinda rough
Miyeon will worshiping your body placing kisses everywhere while she lightly eats you out
Yuqi will be behind you with a strap leaving marks on you as she fucks your ass
Both are obsessed with your whines
However there are times where Yuqi will fuck you rough and fast and then Miyeon will grind her clit against yours only to orgasm all over you and finger her cum inside of you so it can mix with yours 😵‍💫
All this while your a whiney sobbing mess :( (me next….)
Yuqi loves how you both whine and moan so sometimes she’ll just watch you guys fuck taking pictures to remember it
Yuqi overall loves you so much, she likes to tease you because seeing you blush makes her laugh
She will also just play her guitar for you and make random songs for you
She likes when she gets you to herself during partner moments on variety shows because then she can sneak off with you 🤭
Definitely will get all pouty if she doesn’t see you for a day which will result in her kissing you all over while cuddling
She also loves to ruin you beneath her
She will sometimes put on a random movie and make you ride her strap struggling to stay quiet
Other times she’ll just pound into you and claim she’ll go slow but will just go faster laughing at the whines and squeals you let out.
After sex cuddles with her go amazing, after basically fucking the soul out of you she’ll cuddle you as if you’re the most delicate thing ever she’s scared of breaking and will whisper how she loves you and various other praises.
Miyeon absolutely adores you however
Doesn’t like to leave you out her sight and will always be clinging to you in any sort of way
Kisses EVERYWHERE
There’s almost always a dating rumor between you two and she loves it
Also loves to rest her hand on your thighs
She loves to try out new lip glosses on you only so she can kiss you while she has it on
Go shopping with her, she’ll make sure your style is gorgeous
Loves having mini fashion shows with you because she thinks you look great in everything
Miyeon calls you cute nicknames like “baby” “sweet pea” “honey” or any cute nickname she makes up for you
That being said baby loves kissing you while she fingers you :(
She love when your crying and whining while her fingers move in and out of you
Moan in her mouth and she’ll scissor you til your both moaning loudly your whines mixing together
She loves slapping your clit and grinding on it while you’re all sensitive:(
Overall these 2 absolutely adore you! In and out of the bedroom you’re their cute sweet baby!!

candy -> oh haewon ver
aka the fluff alphabet
admiration (what does she absolutely adore about you)- the fact that you stick with her through the goofy humour. i feel like she might’ve been worried she’d scare you off with the sarcastic-ish behaviour. every time you laugh along with her at something very haewon, she falls in love with you again
body (what’s her favourite body part of yours)- a thigh girl, she loves to squeeze them. no matter what figure you are, she adores your legs. personal pillows on the occasions she’s laying on you
cuddling (how she likes to cuddle)- she likes every way, but her favourite is just spooning you. she’s the leader and she likes having things in control :( also she can draw cute lil shapes on your tummy or thigh that way
dates (what’s her ideal date)- go dance with her please :(( really her ideal date would be her sitting in the studio, you come in with coffees for the both of you and you letting her teach you some silly dance <3
emotions (how does she express her emotions around you)- haewon 👏 is 👏 open 👏 with 👏 you👏 although her demeanour makes a slight impact on the way you interpret her
family (does she want one)- she already has it all planned out, you will have two sons, both of which will be cats
holding hands (does she like to hold hands)- your hands need to be swinging. it’s a physical need. bonus points if you’re jumping with your steps. but that’s only in your dorm 😭 she won’t ever jump around near her members or the teasing would get higher than her ego
injuries (what would she do if you got hurt)- she kinda stops in her tracks. my girl needs to process what she just saw. if it’s a minor thing she just pats your head 😭 ‘ur fine bby’ and walks away
jokes (does she like to joke around)- she’s naturally funny like 🤭 i don’t think she would go all out and spill some goofy ah jokes, she just relies on her natural charm
kisses (how does she like to kiss you)- anywhere to be honest. she loves kissing you! <33 wonie kisses your forehead, cheeks, nose, hands, etc. if she’s feeling particularly playful she’s give you a smooch and pull away with a loud ‘mwah’
love (what’s her love language)- very aggressive acts of service. you’re sitting and watching stars and she throws a blanket at you (also climbs to hog you under it). you mention you’re thirsty? haewon disappears for ten minutes and comes back with three different drinks that she knows you like and makes you drink them all so you’re not dehydrated
memory (what’s her favourite memory together)- it’s a bit mean, but when you were visiting her once during practice, you tipped over one of the girl’s water bottles. that made her laugh and she brings up the incident every couple weeks, of course only if you don’t mind it
nighttime (how does sleeping with her look like)- haewon is a teddy bear. soft and warm <33 you can cuddle up to her, she can cuddle up to you, she doesn’t really care. as long as you’re both comfy
oddity (what’s a quirky thing about her)- the goofy ah faces she makes. that’s it, i’m not explaining this one 🥲
pet names (what does she like to call you)- honey! because she’s a bear yk. also maybe bee, if you’re shorter than her. she uses love passively-aggressively ‘ma love 👹’
quality time (how does she like to spend time with you)- she would love it if you wanted to dance with her. doesn’t even matter if it’s nmixx’s dances, she just wants to vibe together. but if you learn tank or o.o, haewon is gonna show you off to every living soul in jyp ent
rush (does she rush into things)- haewon? rushing something? nah. unless you say you want to learn her dance or something. she rushes into studio then
secrets (how open is she with you)- my girl physically fights her members if they give you comeback spoilers 😭 other than that, no secrets, you’re both very open. she drops facts from her day randomly so you know everything always
time (how long did it take for her to confess)- she made you confess 😭 in the sense that she was playing around with you, playfully jabbing at you so it looked like ‘you like me, don’t you~?’ ‘what if i do!’ ‘awh, i love you too!’
upset (what’s her reaction when you’re upset)- haewon just hugs you :(( if someone made you upset, their days are counted, but if you’re just having a bad day, she has all the hugs to give you. will probably also send little encouraging messages so you remember she loves you very much <33
visibility (is she afraid of the public opinion)- she will f i g h t and i am deadass serious. if you both come out and there is a single soul saying something bad about you, haewon has got some suspicious team tracking down their ip
warrior (how often do you fight)- haewon is naturally sarcastic so sometimes when you start fighting her over something, at first she might think your joking, especially because you don’t argue often.
x-ray (is she able to read you)- to some extent. as i said before, she sometimes doesn’t get if you’re both being serious or joking around, but she tries the best to always read the room. please give my girl bonus points for the effort :(((
yes (how would she propose to you)- she already proposed to me sorry guys she doesn’t actually make it all that romantic. haewon takes you out on a normal date, you’re in some park watching dogs and stuff. she suddenly says if you’d like to adopt a pet together after you get married and of course you agree because duh. she gets down on her knee and asks if you wanna go adopt a pet right now
zen (what makes her feel calm)- when haewon is stressed, she likes to just feel your presence around. best way if she can wrap her arm around you and just kind of side hug you :((

-Rebellion- An EE 'mini'-fic
(This is 10,506 words long, not mini at all. This is the fanfic I've been working on for the past couple days. Mainly Parker and Percy centric. The Fruit Basket quintuplet (yes that's what they're called) is in here too. My Google doc made this look way better, I was going to properly fix the spaces in-between each paragraph but Tumblr was lagging and I'm lazy. Inspired slightly by the twolooween stream.)
Halloween was the holiday Parker hated the most. Not because she was scared or didn't have friends, she had plenty of those. It was the fact she wasn't able to participate in it. The last time she went trick-or-treating, she was eight. Ever since the diagnosis, she’d been living with her aunt. Percy. Parker didn't understand her aunt. Sure, the ADHD and autism solidarity was there, but Percy was strange with how she dealt with children. Most holidays, besides Christmas and Thanksgiving, weren't celebrated. And Halloween was the one Percy forbade Parker from participating in. It bothered her. No matter how much Parker tried to persuade Percy, the answer was always:
“No.” Percy's voice was deadpan as usual. She crossed her arms as Parker fell to her knees and clasped her hands together like some pathetic guy begging a girl to go out with him.
“Auntie, Please!” Parker gave her best puppy dog eyes as she begged. “Just this once! All of my friends are going out! Please?” Percy was not swayed. She stood there, her arms still crossed as he exhaled, hard.
“Parker,” Percy said, her authoritative tone frightening Parker. “We go through this every year. And what is my answer every time you ask?” Parker slowly got off of her knees and sighed before she answered.
“No…” Parker mumbled out. As she hung her head, staring at her feet. She sighed again. She was fifteen, not a child, surely she could handle a couple hours out with her friends. But Percy made her stance and wasn't gonna change it. It was like this every year. Parker would beg, Percy would say no, and Bonnie and Sabrina would have to share their candy with her the next day. She just wanted one year, just to revisit and feel how it is.
“Exactly,” Percy answered back. “My answer is always no,” Percy's voice was painfully monotone. At this point, Parker felt like Rapunzel. Trapped in the same boring life with the days blurring together. Even locked in a house. “You never know who, or what may be lurking in the dark. Or the sorts of costumes you will see. Like, sexy mustard.” Percy said with a scornful voice and look in her eyes.
“Yeah... I know.” Parker replied as she rolled her eyes slightly, a detail that did not go unnoticed by Percy.
“Don’t sass me.” Her monotonous voice rang through the room, like a dripped-out truck with speakers that fizzled with every bass drop. Parker didn't even bother arguing, she knew that Percy would find a way to make herself right. Thats what cops do.
“I’m- Nevermind. I’m going to bed.” It was around her ‘bedtime’ anyway. Percy nodded.
“Don’t-” She was cut off by Parker.
“Don’t forget to brush your teeth. I know. G’night Auntie.” Parker said as she rounded the corner into the hallway.
“Goodnight, Parker.” Percy responded as Parker went to get ready for ‘bed’. Parker had a wack sleep schedule, but she was normally able to shake off her sleepiness in the morning. She normally stayed up till three on her phone, then went to bed, sure, school started at eight in the morning, but four hours of sleep was better than nothing.
Parker lay in bed, scrolling through her phone, when she got a notification from the group chat. Sabrina and Bonnie were probably arguing about something. When she saw Sabrina’s sugar glider profile picture and Bonnies snake profile picture she figured she’d join the conversation.

And just like that Parker was left alone. But Bonnie's words hung in her head. Maybe she could sneak out… but how does one sneak out? Bonnie knew all about sneaking out. But did she really want to go through with this? Was she that desperate? Maybe. She would have to ask Bonnie tomorrow if she showed up to school. As the tall, scrawny, blonde girl lay in bed, her frustration grew, as if it were a kettle, on the verge of spilling over. Maybe this is what she needed. A little bit of rebellion never hurt anyone.
The night came and went, as Parker got her dosage of a total of five hours of sleep. For the first time in a while, she was excited to go to school. Today was Halloween, and even though they had school, most of the teachers didn't care about their jobs enough to teach or show up on a holiday. So that meant the quintuplet could goof off as much as they wanted without their grades feeling the punishment.
The ride to school was silent. Parker was in the passenger seat of her auntie's police cruiser, the very same place she had seen multiple people in before. Cops weren't something that scared her necessarily but being incarcerated did. The day Parker would be cuffed and in the backseat of a police vehicle would also be the day Percy lost her shit, either in anger or sadness. The reason she showed no emotion most of the time was that her emotions boiled over the second she got angry or scared. Two emotions Percy never showed often.
The ride’s silence was interrupted by Percy's monotone voice. “Parker, please stop shaking your leg. It's causing the car to shake.” Parker hadn't noticed she’d been shaking her leg. She quickly stopped.
“Sorry…” She mumbled into her hand as she rested her elbow on the car door.
“It's quite alright,” Percy responded back, her signature half smile on her face. “I know you cannot help it. But please do consider I am driving. I want you to arrive safely to school, sweetheart.” Parker smiled a bit at her aunt’s precautions. She understood why she did it, but that was for driving. Not the whole, ‘not being allowed to participate in Halloween’ thing. But maybe Parker could discreetly ask how Percy would feel if someone (hypothetically her) snuck out.
“Auntie, quick question,” Parker spoke. “You know Bonnie right?”
“Yes. I know her, why do you ask?” Percy knew Bonnie alright. From being Ramsey's niece to being in juvie multiple times, Percy knew her well.
“Well I was wondering, do you know that sometimes she sneaks out? I don't think her uncles caught on about it yet. But if you were in Ramsey's position, how would you feel?” Yes. Asking how Percy felt about anything by relating it to someone else always stumped her. And Parker made sure she focused on the Ramsey and Bonnie bit.
“Well. Certainly a good question.” Percy said before she thought about it. “Im not sure how I’d feel. One part of me feels betrayed and the other feels disappointed, or upset. It's hard to word. My apologies.” Percy quickly focused her attention on the road in front of her. “I certainly hope you wouldn't go that far and sneak around behind my back, Parker.” Ouch. That stung Parker straight through the chest. “I'd be disappointed.” Double-whammy, jeez. Parker was feeling really anxious about this whole thing now. The day her aunt was disappointed would be the day Parker’s condemned to hell. Once Percy was disappointed, she was disappointed. She would give you the silent treatment and everything.
“Yeesh. A disappointed auntie is not a happy auntie.” Parker joked trying to hide her anxiety. “Anyway… do you work tonight?”
“Yes, I’m on the schedule. Patrol, 3 pm-12 am.” Percy said as she pulled into the school.
“Oh, okay!” Everything was falling into place, Miraculously Percy's work hours happened to fall in when she planned to sneak out. If she had the balls to do that. Percy pulled into the car-rider line and stopped the car, letting Parker get out.
“Have a good day, Parker. Be safe.” Percy said as Parker grabbed her bag and smiled at Percy’s words.
“You too auntie.” She flung her bag over her shoulder as she shut the car door, and ran to the front of the school. The quintuplet was always here 15 minutes before the bell rang, so they could talk before class started. Dalia, Bonnie, and Sabrina were already there. Bonnie was perched sitting on the metal bar fence, while Dalia and Sabrina stood next to her.
“Im just saying hypothetically, if the world was flat, do you think the water would spill off the sides and go into space?” Bonnie was back to asking nonsensical questions. Parker was walking up to the group as she heard the conversation going on.
“The world is round,” Sabrina stated as she whacked Bonnie upside the head with a peice of paper. “Dumbass.” Sabrina looked at Parker as she was walking up to them. “Will you tell this simple-minded weasel right here that the earth is round?”
“Bonnie,” Parker said with a twinge of cringe. “What are you on about?”
“Coke probably,” Bonnie replied with a shit-eating grin as the three girls in front of her mentally facepalmed. “Anyway, why are we talking about me, when we need to be talking about Parker? Her aunt is holding her hostage!”
“Hostage is certainly a descriptive word. I don't think its hostage.” Dalia inquired. “Besides, Percy isn't that strict… right?”
“You’d be surprised,” Sabrina replied. “The first time Parker had Wendy’s is when my dad took us after colorguard a month ago.” Both Dalia and Bonnie looked at Parker with a surprised look. Was Percy really that strict?
Bonnie got off the blue metal bar fence put her hands on Parker's shoulder, and shook her. “You have got to rebel. Do something about this! You're a prisoner in your own life! Percy is holding you hostage!”
Parker rolled her eyes. “She’s just… Protective. It's nothing… really!”
Dalia and Sabrina exchanged glances before Dalia spoke. “She's… kinda a helicopter parent… and she's not even your mom. Doesn't it get old?”
Sabrina’s eyes widened. “Helicopter parent? More like an authoritative parent, she wants Parker to be like her… monotone… and bland. No offense. You aren’t able to have caffeine. Or fun...” Sabrina said her voice feeling bad for Parker, which was rare, she hardly felt bad for anyone.
“She's a cop… she means well.” Parker tried to defend her aunt's parenting style, but she knew that it was useless to do so.
“Cop or not, you're in a prison! And I know a lot about prison.” Bonnie replied as she shook Parker again. “Yknow what, meet me at our spot at lunch, we're gonna get you freedom, by any means necessary.” Bonnie looked Parker in the eyes, the same look an army general would give his men before battle. Parker admired her friends, especially Bonnie for her candid ‘we're gonna do this no matter the consequences’ attitude. And right on cue the bell rang, and the girls went their separate ways. Bonnie to Science, Dalia to Math, Sabrina to History, and Parker to P.E.
The Periods blurred together, it was the same thing every day. But 4th period was Parker's favorite, Art. It was a class she shared with Sabrina, besides 8th period. The art classroom with Ms. Wade. She was an eccentric individual, and one Parker trusted with anything (besides Mrs.Cox, she’s the nicest teacher at SJHS). Ms.Wade’s flowy blue hair and silver round-rimmed glasses made her quite the person. Not to mention her small stature. Sabrina was barely shorter than her.
“Parker…? Something wrong?” Ms. Wade asked as Parker snapped out of her daze, unaware she was staring directly at the boy across the room.
“Ah- !” Parker snapped back to reality as Ms. Wade's high-pitched voice rang through her ears. “I’m fi-”
“Then why were you staring at Micah?” Sabrina cut Parker off, as she moved to take one of her black colored pencils.
“I was zoned out, Sabrina!” Parker spoke through her teeth in an annoyed manner. Parker huffed as she turned around in her seat to speak to Ms.Wade. “As I was saying before I was rudely cut off. Im fine. I zoned out.” Parker picked up her pencil again as she stared at the blank paper in front of her.
“You don't seem alright.” Ms.Wade stated as she leaned over and looked at Parker's blank page. “Having trouble with the prompt?”
“You could say that. How do I take an insecurity and draw it? Arent those just thoughts?” Parker asked. Sure she had insecurities, everybody did, but how does one translate that onto paper? It seemed impossible.
“Well, you think of something you're insecure about, like me, im insecure about my height. You take that, and you imagine a picture that speaks without speaking. Like a picture with meaning.” Ms.Wade did her best to explain, but she had no idea how to describe the prompt.
“Is being afraid people will be disappointed in you an insecurity?” Parker asked ideas slowly coming back to her.
“Sure, you can do that. I look forward to seeing what you create.” Ms. Wade gave Parker a gentle shoulder pat, as Parker resumed looking at the paper. As Ms.Wade walked away, slowly Parker began to run her colored pencil across the page, drawing a large silhouette of a woman with one hand holding a smaller sadder girl, and the other hand on her hip. She flipped over the page and quickly scribbled some writing in her chicken-scratch handwriting. The most notable thing about the drawing was the fact that the large woman had a striking resemblance to Percy, and the smaller girl looked like Parker, even though they were blacked-out silhouettes.
“Is that supposed to be Percy?” Sabrina leaned over and asked Parker, as the girls put down their pencils. Parker picked up her drawing and held it up tilting her head to look at it at another angle.
“Huh, it does kinda look like her… thats weird,” Parker stated as she put the drawing back down on the table.
“I’d say. Wanna see mine?” Sabrina asked. Parker nodded. Sabrina held up her drawing. It was two people both that looked like her, but one was blacked out and looked like something from a horror movie. “Cool right?”
“Thats creepy. What even is that?” Parker asked her face turning into one of slight disgust.
“It's my nightmares... OooOOOhhHHh… spooky… isn't it?” Sabrina asked with a sly grin on her constantly tired face.
“Jesus… how do you function?”
“I don't,” Sabrina replied. “Im constantly on the verge of a mental breakdown.” Even when saying something like that, her grin never wavered. Parker was slightly concerned but knew Sabrina was just like that, so she let it slide. “What’s that supposed to represent anyway?” Sabrina pointed to Parker’s drawing.
“Uh, disappointment? Im insecure about people being disappointed?” She said with uncertainty. Parker wasn't sure what it conveyed exactly, but she knew it conveyed something. Sabrina raised an eyebrow and playfully punched Parker.
“You need therapy.” Sabrina jabbed.
“I'll get it when you do,” Parker responded. Soon enough, the lunch bell rang, and Parker shoved the drawing into her bag. She and Sabrina hurried from the art room in the 400 hall to outside underneath the bleachers in the football field. It was a colder day, rounding out at about 50-ish degrees. The chill hit the duo as soon as they walked outside and to the football field, where Bonnie and Dalia already were. Bonnie had a paper in front of her along with a poorly drawn blueprint map of Parker's home. And a neighborhood it looked like. Dalia was munching on the expensive school Snickers from the vending machines.
“About time y’all showed up.” Bonnie crossed her arms, as the two climbed under the bleachers sitting around the paper.
“Bonnie, maybe don't be mean-” Dalia went to say but was quickly cut off by Bonnie, who quite frankly does not give a shit.
“Hush, lemme speak.” Bonnie playfully slapped the side of Dalia’s arm. “Okay. Now you may be wondering why I have all this paper spread out.”
“We aren’t,” Sabrina said.
“Hush Dumbass,” Bonnie said glaring at Sabrina, who was now on her phone. “As I was saying, the reason we have all this paper is because we are gonna help goody-to-shoes here gain her freedom.” She held up the poorly drawn map of Parker's house. “And I have the blueprints to help.”
Sabrina looked up from her phone at the blueprints. “Those look like a four-year-old drew them.” She said mocking Bonnie's terrible art skills. “Isn't your uncle an online artist? I thought you could do better than that.”
“Kill yourself and let me speak, dickhead.” Bonnie retorted. “If you would let me speak, I would tell you what the plan is.” Parker and the rest of the girls sent their attention to Bonnie. “Finally, now here's what's goin’ down. Whenever Percy leaves the house, you're gonna make a fake you out of pillows and stick it underneath your blanket. Then all you gotta do is walk out of the house and meet us at Greengage Gated Community.”
“It’s that easy?” Parker asked as she fiddled with the hem of her black denim shorts. She honestly thought it was gonna be much harder, but the way Bonnie was describing it made it sound so easy. “I thought it was gonna be harder.”
“It is that easy. Plus you live in a one-story house, so it'll be even easier.” Bonnie spoke cockily. The girls murmured and mumbled to one another before all collectively agreeing on something. Sabrina spoke up.
“I live in GreenGage, you can meet us there Parker. And if push comes to shove, I'll throw myself under the bus and say it was my idea.” The girls all nodded in response.
“Really? Wow, I didn't expect you all to be so… open to this. Are you sure though, im sure my aunt, if she found out, she would chew all of you and your parents out.” Parker said, her voice full of slight guilt and embarrassment, like a child confessing to breaking something.
“Nah, it'll be fine, my uncle knows how Percy is.” Bonnie shrugged off Parker's worries and gave her a pat on the back.
“Yeah, my dad and Sabrina’s are pretty lenient. I’m sure it'll be alright.” Dalia added, trying to soothe Parker's worries rather than brush them off like Bonnie just did. The four girls looked at each other, and all grinned.
“Last one to the lunch line is a rotten egg!” Bonnie said quickly before dashing back into the school building. The other three girls quickly ran after her, Sabrina being able to catch up with almost no difficulty, Dalia and Parker following close after.
(insert break line here)
Percy had a few hours to spare before needing to even leave for work. She sat at the empty kitchen island in the empty kitchen. Normally she didn't mind being alone, but today something was eating at her. She clutched her glass of butter water and sighed. She could not place it but an empty pit of dread was in her stomach. Why? She couldn’t explain.
“Maybe I’m being too harsh on her…” Percy had a knack of talking to herself when she was alone. “She's growing she needs to learn… but what if im stunting her social-emotional growth…? I don't want her to end up like me… a social recluse…” Percy sighed. She was probably just overthinking things again. Seems like thinking as all she ever did. Percy was awoken from her overthinking state when she heard a knock and a shout from her door.
“Per-CY!” Ah, Rose, right on cue. If it wasn't for that ungodly voice crack, Rose would've felt confident right about now. But in returning Percy's badge that she had accidentally left over at her place, she had forgotten what Percy did to her. At this point, she wouldn't have been surprised if Parker started calling her “Auntie’. At this point, she hung around Percy so much that the girls even started to suspect something was going on. At this point, Rose couldnt deny it.
Percy quickly answered the door. “Rose?” Percy opened the door and stepped out on the porch. “What brings you here?”
“Oh- ! Uh, right…” Rose fiddled inside her cargo pants pockets, trying to find Percy's badge. When she found it she held it out, letting Percy take it back. “You left that at my place. I figured you would need it, for your job. Not like you don't have like three spares but, I figured I might as well return it.”
Percy looked at the badge before softly smiling at Rose. “Thank you. I was wondering where this went. I was afraid I was going to have to wear my spare.” Percy said as she swapped this badge with the one she was currently wearing.
“It's no problem really… I pass this way while going to work so I figured I might as well return it.” That was a lie, she took a fifteen-minute detour to get here, she just wanted to see Percy, hopefully, that would give her some motivation for the shift upcoming. Hopefully the same could be said about Percy.
“Well thank you. I appreciate it.” Percy gave her small half smile to the tan woman in front of her. Before it dawned on her. Rose had siblings, multiple actually. “Rose, may i ask you something?”
“Oh, yeah, sure, go ahead,” Rose responded as she shifted her position to lean against the column on the porch.
“Is it wrong to shield a child from the outside world?” Percy asked as she crossed her arms, trying to comfort herself. Rose thought about it for a moment before responding.
“Not wrong, but it's not good either. The more you shield a child from the world, the more curious they get, and the more likely they are to rebel.” Rose said giving the best answer she could. “Kids need some form of freedom, keeping them shielded, while it is safe, it's also a recipe for disaster.” Percy took this into account. Parker would go that far. She was a good kid, she wouldn't rebel… right?
“Hm, I’ll take that into account. Thank you.” Percy said uncrossing her arms and fixing her rigid posture.
“No problem, I’m always-”
BEEP BEEP
Roses pager was going crazy. She quickly took a look at it before chuckling to herself. “I guess thats my cue to leave. See you around?” Rose returned around as she walked down the steps of the porch.
“See you around Rose.” Percy waved back to the tanned woman who was now walking to her car. She waved one last time before getting in and pulling away. Rose's answer only brought up more questions for Percy.
It was safe yes, but what did Rose mean by ‘recipe for disaster’? Surely Parker wouldn't do anything that drastic. Percy began thinking again as she walked back inside. She looked at her watch. Still, an hour to kill. She sat back at the kitchen island thinking again. She’d been doing a lot of that lately. Thinking. Mostly about Parker. The very child she was sworn to protect. Thats what she told her brother. She would take care of his daughter, no matter what. But lately, she’s been more protective.
Maybe it's been the string of kidnapping cases thats been going around the police station. Parker was a young, blonde, blue-eyed, and as much as Percy hated to admit it, a curvy young girl. She was also a mundie, if she were to be abducted, she’d have no means to defend herself. The subject matter was important to Percy, she would defend, protect, and ensure Parker's safety, even if that meant keeping her inside. Percy didn't feel much remorse for saying no to Parker's pleas to go out, she knew it was for the best.
‘It was for the best’, was what Percy kept saying to herself. She didn't want Parker to end up like Bonnie, poor girl. Why was she comparing her niece to a girl who has gone through more than her? She was trying to prevent what happened to Bonnie, from happening to her. She needed to get her mind off of this subject. She decided to bite the bullet and go to work early, maybe that would help her get her mind off of this. So much for taking Roses advice.
(Insert another line break)
When Parker arrived home Percy was already gone. Perfect. This was the most opportune time for her to be gone, it's like the gods responded to her multiple prayers about being stuck inside with the same boring life. It felt good. Around 6-ish Parker left, in an old Hyena hoodie she had. It had a few loose stitches, and a couple of stains on the back, but the hoodie combined with her black leggings made the last-minute costume come together. At the end of the road was Sabrina, Bonnie and Dalia, all waiting for her. Upon seeing them she picked up the pace, and walked faster meeting up with them.
“Y'know, for someone who doesn't celebrate Halloween normally, you look like you've done this multiple times before.” Sabrina said with sarcasm. She was talking about Parkers costume. Out of the four of them, hers was the most last minute looking. Sabrinas looked the most put together, she had face paint and everything. “I'm a skeleton, spooky, right? I plan to scare some children and take their candy.”
“That’s kinda mean Sabrina. They worked hard for that candy.” Dalia spoke, fiddling with her hands a bit. Sabrina looked at her as they all walked to GreenGage Gated Community. “What if we get in trouble?”
“Dalia, you sensitive soul. I'm not taking just any children's candy. I'm aiming for Stink and Stonk. They're the ones who avidly look to steal candy. I'm simply helping.” Sabrina tried to justify her actions.
“The seventh graders? Why waste your time on those guys? They're probably still believing in cooties.” Bonnie said, adjusting the headband to her rat costume. Fitting, especially for her. Sure it was a gray t-shirt and jeans with a headband, but it got the job done.
“Are cooties still a thing?” Parker asked.
“Yeah. I heard that last year one of the Roughhouse twins sold a jar of their ‘thooties’ to Stink and Stonk at the Halloween store. They got 50 bucks.” Dalia responded to Parker's question as she twisted her wand in her hand. Dalia was a wizard, she had on a black shirt and pants, along with a cartoony purple cape with silver stars on it. All equipped with a pointy wizard hat.
“Sounds like something me and my uncle would do.” Bonnie responded. The girls had walked a good distance now, as the arrived at the gates of GreenGage. The place was really nice actually, to most of the girls surprise. “Did you take us to a neighborhood with full size candy bars? Because that's what it looks like”
“Of course I did.” Sabrina smiled. “My friends deserve nothing less.” She was full of herself. Sabrina took them here to flex on Sylvie that she has friends. Unlike him. “And my dad just so happens to be giving out said full size candy bars.”
“No shit.” Parker replied as the girls started running into the neighborhood.
“H-Hey! Wait for me!” Sabrina shouted as the girls nearly knocked her over. She ran behind them as they walked into the nice neighborhood. Lights from all the identical suburban houses, and the bustling sounds coming from children and adults alike rang throughout the place. It was beautiful.
“I was missing out on all this?!” Parker exclaimed as she threw her hands up.
“Yup. Aren't you glad your friends talked you into this?” Bonnie said as the group began walking through the road.
Sabrina and Dalia were having a conversation about smart people things, talk that Parker and Bonnie wouldn't and didn't want to understand. “Hey Parker, I know a cooler place than this.” Bonnie said to Parker as the two were walking down the road. Bonnie's grin was mischievous, and Sabrina and Dalia would shut down any idea she had. But they weren't here right now. And Parker was gullible.
“Really?”Parker asked falling for whatever Bonnie was planning.
“Mhm hmm. Yup.”
“What is it?”
Bonnie looked around a couple times, as if she was looking for any sign of an adult. She grabbed Parker's hand and led her out of the community. The border between the community and the other neighborhoods was unclear. So Bonnie could be leading her anywhere. Soon enough she led her to another Neighborhood, one that wasn't as nice. In fact it kinda looked like the ghetto. But the nice part of the ghetto. “I don't do all that Richie stuff. Sure, I like the large amounts of candy, but it's the experience that counts.” Bonnie said as she led Parker through ‘her part of town’. All sorts of people were there, along with all sorts of food, and smells. It was almost homey.
“I like it. It smells nice.” Parker said as the two walked.
“It does, doesn't it? Oooh! Just wait till we get to Mama’s food stand. She makes the best food.” Bonnie said enthusiastically.
“Okay! You have money, right?”
“Duh! I may be a delinquent, but I'm not a criminal.” Bonnie rolled her eyes. “You wait here, I'm gonna find Mama.” And Bonnie was off. Parker leaned up against the wall of one of the buildings. She pulled out her phone, and started to play an offline mobile game, not paying much attention to her surroundings.
Before long, a lanky man leaned up against the wall next to her. He was wearing a stained wife beater, and a pair of jeans that were a weird tan color with stains around the hem. “What's a lady like ya’ doin' out here?” The man had a breathy raspy voice and weird stubble across his pale face.
“I-I’m not alone… I’m here with a friend.” Parker responded as politely as possible but found it a little unnerving a man like him was talking to her, a teenager. The man let out a small grunt of acknowledgement.
“Where is them?” The man's lack of grammatical correctness, also through Parker off.
“Getting… food.” Parker responded with a bit of hesitancy. He let out another noise of acknowledgement. The man glanced at Parker, his brown eyes staring into her skin. His whole vibe was off. Really off.
Parker tried to ignore him, by continuing to play her mobile game. But the man scooted closer to her. She scooted farther, trying to maintain the distance between her and this man. “Why ya’ runnin’?” The man said as the shink of a pocket knife was heard. Before Parker could react, the knife was up to her neck.
“AH-!” The man quickly covered her mouth with his grody hands.
“Don't make this any harder than it has to be.” He said as Parker started to cry and try to squirm herself away from this man. “You know what I want.”
No she didn't. What did he want? What did it have to do with her? Where's Bonnie? Sabrina? Dalia? Anybody? She felt hopeless. She should've stayed home, she wanted to be anywhere other than the grips of this man. She shook her head, she didn't know what he wanted. The man took the hand that had the knife and gently ran it down Parker's face, and slowly down to her torso leaving small holes in her Hyena hoodie. That's what he wanted. Her. No. Tears started spilling from her eyes as she tried to scream and squirm her way out. It was all in vain. The street was so crowded, but no one was helping, and the few who did notice were too scared to help or didn't care enough.
“Hey Parker! I got some-!” Bonnie stopped dead in her tracks. The food that was in her hand dropped to the ground as she looked at the man and Parker, who was trying to free herself. So Bonnie did what she does best. Scream. She screamed loudly, loud enough to be heard from a good half mile. Her own experiences would not let this happen to her best friend. She'd been in Parker's position before, but she didn't have anyone to save her. So, she did what baby Bonnie would've wanted. She was going to fight.
Bonnie, after her lengthy scream, moved quickly. She didn't have an Epithet either, but she did have pure will and fists. And to her that's all you needed to fight. The teenager lunged at the man, giving a good punch to his gut. He didn't barrel over in pain like she hoped he would. Instead he used the pocket knife and slashed her cheek. Thankfully It wasn't her eye.
Bonnie doubled back in pain as she winced uncomfortably. “Dammit…” She touched her cheek, the blood trickled down her face, dripping onto her gray shirt. She delivered another punch, but he quickly deflected it. He sent a punch to Bonnie's nose, sending her backwards and onto the concrete.
By now the authorities were called. People were recording, but not doing anything to actively help. Most of them were cowering in fear walking as fast as they could away from the scene and the more braver ones were recording.
“Attention all units, attention all units. We have a possible 240 and a possible 261A in progress. All units in the area of Armen Avenue and Outland Road please report immediately.” Percy’s radio went off. She quickly picked it up and answered it as her police cruiser sped up slightly to get to the named location.
“This is Officer P. King reporting in, what exactly is the situation?” Percy's monotonous voice was heard over the radio.
“Two female teenagers in the hands of a dangerous man. Multiple witnesses have called in about the disturbance. Man seems to be armed with a pocket knife.”
“10-4.” Percy quickly responded as her cruiser turned onto Armen Avenue. The shrieking wails could be heard through her car, even with the windows up. With her sirens blaring the crowd around the man and Parker quickly aired out, leaving Bonnie and the man to their own devices, not far from them Was Ramsey. Trying to desperately get through the crowd to his niece and Parker.
Percy's eyes widened as she saw just who exactly was in the arms of the dangerous man. Part of her wanted to freeze in place, the other wanted to beat the man until he was dead. Percy, instead of reaching for her sword, reached for her gun. Her Glock 19 was firm in her hands as she hissed. “Put the child down! I will open fire!” Parker was still crying In the man's grasp. This was the worst possible outcome. Not only was she being held hostage by a man, but the cop who had to stop this situation was her aunt. And Parker could see Percy's anger plastered on her face.
A familiar voice rang from the crowd behind them.“Damnit..! Move!” Ramsey was shoving his way through the crowd, pushing anyone that was in his way. He must've heard Bonnie's scream from that dingy apartment not far from here. “Bonnie!” Bonnie was trying to hold her own. Out of all the fights she’d been in, this one was the hardest one. She should've expected it, she was picking a fight with a man who belonged in prison.
“Put the weapon down!” Percy gripped her gun harder. Her arms were flexing so much to the point of shaking. “I will open fire! This is your final warning!” Her usual monotonous voice was full of emotion. Anger and fear. Her gloved finger was on the trigger, ready to pull. The man simply gave a twisted smile. He lifted Parker up by the collar of her hoodie.
“Ya’ wouldn't shoot a kid, right officer?” The man adjusted his position to be holding Parker up in front of him, still by the collar. Her hoodie was slightly small on her and this action caused the hoodie to start choking her slightly. She let out a gasp for air. “Not especially yer daughter… right?”
Percy out of instinct lowered her gun. “Put her down. Now.” Her voice was still stern as ever but it held a great amount of fear. The man simply put his pocket knife up to Parker's neck.
“An’ if I don't?” The man asked with his twisted grin. Percy couldn't respond. Her mouth went dry. She looked around. No other officer was here. She was the only one. She felt hopeless. If her niece were to die she would never forgive herself.
The red-headed rat man came barreling out of the crowd. “Listen to the damn cop, jackass!” He stumbled out of the crowd and next to Percy, who was surprised by his sudden entrance. “Put the kid down, an’ you'll leave with your face still intact.” Ramsey raised his arms, and got into a fighting stance, his arms were made entirely of gold. Bonnie was on the verge of passing out. She stood next to Percy as well.
“Put my best friend down. You have no business with her.” Bonnie said her voice filled with resentment and anger. The man was outnumbered, three to one.
The man gave a laugh, an unnervingly hearty one. “This girls comin’ with me. She's too purtty to be left out here… alone.” The man gave a weirdly unnerving smile. Percy has just about had it. Her gloves came off and her sleeves went up.
“You'll find that my daughter is coming with me.” Her voice hissed. Ramsey and Bonnie exchanged glances but didn't think much of the statement. “As a police officer, I have full jurisdiction to use force if I'm forced to. And you'll find I am an excellent boxer.” Percy got into a fighting stance, throwing all weapons to the side. No sword or gun. She had her fists and pure will.
Thean gave another unnervingly hearty laugh. “I'd like to see ya try.” As soon as the man finished his sentence, Percy swung. She delivered a swift yet powerful punch at the man's jaw, sending him backwards. He dropped the pocket knife, moving both of his hands to his jaw. “What the hell!” He let out a long wince. Before he was able to recover Percy kneed him in the gut. He barrelled over in pain. The pocket knife that was on the ground he picked back up. And lunged at Percy. Percy caught the man's arm before it stabbed her, but the lanky man was surprisingly strong. She wouldn't be able to hold it forever.
“L-Leave her alone!” Parker's heart wrenching cries rang out as she tried to attack the man who was currently trying to stab her aunt. “Stop it! Please!” Parker tried her best to fight the guy off of her aunt. The man threw her off of him, and sent her stumbling backwards onto the ground.
That distracted the man long enough for Percy to knee him in the jaw. His jaw made a loud popping noise. She dislocated it. The man grabbed his jaw, clenching it in pain. “You whore! God damnit!” He winced out. He turned away about to book it out of there, before his ankle was grabbed. The grip was as strong as it could be from Parker. Her tear stained face, and her pitiful voice didn't sway the man, it only agitated him more.
“No… you're not going anywhere…” Parker said as she gripped the man's ankle.
“Let go of me, bitch!” The man tried shaking her off, but quickly realized that wasn't going to happen. In a last ditch effort to get away he kicked Parker in the face, knocking her unconscious. Her grip loosened as she passed out, leaving the man to be able to run away. Percy wasn't letting that happen. Quickly summoning a wizard tower to paralyze the man.
The lighting sprung out of the tower and electrocuted him. Making him black out. Percy threw the eraser cuffs to Ramsey and shouted. “Deal with the man, I'm getting Parker!” Ramsey, noticing the shocking amount of worry on her face agreed. He ran over to the man, quickly cuffing him, as Percy ran to the unconscious teenager, laying face first on the concrete. Shouting her name as she ran, Percy felt herself grow more worried. Tears were forming in her eyes as she crouched to Parker's level. “Parker…? Sweetheart please, don't do this. Parker?” Percy felt her throat closing up as she tried to shake Parker awake. She was out cold. Percy checked for a pulse, out of worry. Thankfully one was still present. “Parker, love, you gotta wake up. Please.” Percy was begging for her to get up, give her a sign she was alright. Before Percy knew it tears were streaming down her face. There was no stopping her emotions, she was already melting down.
Ramsey handed the guy over to the other officers who finally arrived at the scene. He quickly ran over to Percy who was bawling now. “Aye, Percy. You alright?” He asked crouching down next to her, he put a caring hand on her back.
She shook her head no. How could she be alright? She let her niece get hurt, if she hadn't got there sooner it would've been worse. Percy knew this was her fault. “No…” She sobbed out. Ramsey really didn't know what to do in this situation. He'd never seen Percy so distraught. Ramsey quickly called Bonnie over, to see if she could do anything about the situation. The two brought Percy over to the other officers, handing her over so they could hopefully do something about her state.
Soon enough the scene was filled with ambulances, cop cars and news anchors. Percy wanted nothing to do with them. She wanted to crawl under a rock and die. She wanted to be away and just cry. She knew this was her fault and she was responsible for Parker getting hurt. No matter how much Ramsey and Meryl tried to soothe her.
“Percy, it'll be alright. She's in good hands. Please calm down.” Meryl said as she stroked Percy's hair. The two were crowded around Percy, who was sitting in the open back of Meryl's police cruiser.
Percy kept crying. “I-I failed… I didn't make sure she was safe… it's all my fault…” She wiped her face, smearing her mascara across her face.
“It ain't your fault Percy. You didn't know this would happen.” Ramsey tried to soothe her now. He knew that Parker wasn't able to go out at night, let alone Halloween night. So he knew who's fault it was, but he wasn't going to bring it up. Not now at least. “Like Meryl said, she's in the hands of the hospital. That's the safest place she can be right now.” Percy cried into Meryl's shoulder, getting wet mascara all over her white coat.
“I'm… I'm supposed to be the safest person for her… I failed…” Percy’s cries dissolved into soft sobs as she spoke.
“Why was she out alone anyway?” Meryl asked as she continued stroking Percy’s, now messy blonde hair.
“I don't know… she was supposed to be at home…” She responded.
“I think I know what happened.” Ramsey glared over to Bonnie who was currently giving her statement to an officer. “Parker most likely snuck out. With the help of Bonnie…” He pinched his nose bridge.
“W-what..?”
“You heard me Percy.” He responded. “I took Bonnie's phone last night, all the girls, except Dalia, were online talking about Parker and how they wanted her to come with ‘em tonight.” He sighed as he looked over at Bonnie. “I can't believe she'd go this far.”
Percy hung her head. She knew this would happen. “I- I figured…” she sniffled. “I'm too hard on her, I- this I didn't want this to happen.”
“None of us did Percy.” Meryl comforted. “It'll be okay though, just keep your head held high.” She placed a caring hand on Percy's shoulder. She looked at her watch. “Let's get you out of here. Your shifts about over anyway.” Meryl helped Percy up, and led her to her police cruiser. She held out her hands for the keys, which Percy willingly gave. Meryl started up the police cruiser and drove away, leaving Ramsey and Bonnie at the scene, they lived close by, they'd be able to get him easily.
“Bonnie Lynn, get your ass over here!” Ramsey shouted as she gently tapped his foot against the ground. Bonnie heard his call, and heard her middle name. It was serious, but not as serious as her full name. Bonnie walked over, her hands in her pants pockets. “Just what the hell were you thinking?!” Ramsey spoke. Whenever he started a lecture like that, Bonnie knew it was going to br ranty and lengthy. “I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and assumed that those texts were just jokes, but no. You deliberately go behind not only my back, but Percy’s as well. Tell me Bonnie, what the hell was going through your mind when you decided to help Parker sneak out?”
Bonnie hesitated. “I thought I was helping. She always seems so sad she never gets to do stuff with us. I'm sorry.” She hung her head, as her uncle continued his rant.
“Bonnie, look at me.” He paused letting Bonnie lift her head to look up at him. “Percy does that for a reason. She doesn't want Parker to get hurt, like I do with you, she does with Parker. Yes I'm aware I'm not a perfect figure, but I'm better than a lot of people out there. But the point is, that was dangerous, dangerously stupid as well.” He paused, catching his breath slightly. “Bonnie, you're a good kid. You mean well, but when it comes to people's lives, you gotta let stuff happen. If Percy says no to something, either let it slide or come to me. Okay?”
Bonnie nodded. She looked up at Ramsey. “Is Percy mad at me?”
“Percy doesn't do mad, disappointed, yes. But she'll never be angry at you.” He reassured. As he looked at Bonnie he noticed the cut she had gotten from the fight. “That's a nasty scar, hey, you match your old man.” He pointed to his own eye scar.
“I guess.” Bonnie sighed. “I just really didn't want Parker to- y'know.” Bonnie's voice held a bit of guilt. Ramsey knew exactly what she was referring to, and found it admirable Bonnie was trying to save Parker from that.
“I know, kid.” He pat her back with affection. “You did good tonight. But don't let it happen again.” He warned.
“I won't, old man.”
“Good. C’mon, let's go home, the police have a lot of work to do.” Ramsey wrapped his arm around Bonnie's shoulder and led her away. The walk back to their dingy apartment was mostly silent, the two walked side by side, all was silent for most of the walk, but then Bonnie's standard ringtone went off. She was ignoring the first time, but they kept calling and calling, to the point she had to answer it. The caller ID was Sabrina. She answered it and was met with the loud sounds of the tired girl's voice.
“WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED??? IS PARKER OKAY???” Sabrina shouted from her line of the phone.
“Parker's fine. She's in the hospital right now, but she's fine. Why?” Bonnie asked.
“The news dumbass! It's all over. ‘Local teen fights of creep, authorities get involved.’ WHERE DID YOU TWO EVEN GO ANYWAY?” Sabrina shouted through the phone. She was clearly concerned, and her volume was starting to make Bonnie cringe.
“We went to Armen Avenue.-”
“ARMEN AVENUE??! ARE YOU INSANE?!” Sabrina shouted. Murmurs of Dalia and Mr.Ashling could be heard in the background. Before Bonnie knew it, Dalia took Sabrina's phone and started speaking.
“Is Parker okay? We heard she took a good kick to the face. What about Percy, is she okay too?” Dalia asked, her volume much more manageable than Sabrina’s.
“Yes, Parker should be fine. Percy was crying a river though.” Bonnie replied. The other line was silent for a good moment before Sabrina shouted again.
“PERCY WAS CRYING?!?! WHAT DID YOU-”
Click.
Bonnie hung up and put her phone on silent. She already had to speak about the situation to the police. She didn't want to do the same thing with her friends. She sighed. She wasn't gonna hear the end of it for a while.
Percy and Meryl were in a silent car ride. Originally Meryl wanted to take Percy straight home, but Percy voiced that she wanted to get the statement and paperwork out of the way. Percy was fiddling with her gloves the entire ride, her leg bouncing as she did so. Meryl noticed Percy's state of anxiety. She knew it was from the previous situation but she felt the need to ask anyway. “Percy, are you alright?”
Percy shrugged. “I'm not sure. I'm conflicted. And worried. Half the police force saw my meltdown, they're gonna put me in mandated therapy before I'm able to work again.” She sighed. Talking about feelings were hard for Percy, and with a stranger it was even harder.
“That's okay. Maybe it'll help.” Meryl tried to make light of the situation. “I'm sure the therapy will help you get rid of feelings you've been avoiding.”
“Avoiding? I don't avoid my feelings.” Percy said, defending her way of feeling.
“Yes, you do. Ramsey told me you called Parker your daughter, despite the fact you know she's your niece.” Meryl said. “You don't just do that. If you say something it has meaning. With that, I think that you're avoiding the fact you think of Parker more than just your niece. She gives you a maternal feeling, doesn't she?”
Percy went silent. “What does that feel like?”
“Well. It varies, I'd assume.” Meryl started. “It's like when you really want to be there for someone, and look over them like they’re family. Which Parker is, but, I think you see a part of yourself in her.” Meryl said as she looked directly at the road in front of them.
Percy thought for a moment, thinking about what Meryl said. “I'm not sure if I do. We're two different people. How can we be alike?” Percy asked.
“I'm sure you'll figure that out. You always do.” Meryl smiled. The drive went silent again. Maybe Meryl was right. But how? Percy thought about it and just couldn't find an answer. The car pulled into the police station, and the women got out. Heading inside. Percy knew she didn't want to be here, she wanted to be with her niece, even if it was in a hospital.
The cadets stared at Percy as she walked through the police station. She was disheveled, her hair awry, her mascara smeared across her cheeks, and her uniform wrinkled and dirty. Percy immediately got to her paperwork. The statement was the most daunting part. Her penmanship, which was mostly neat, was barely readable. The pen ink smeared as she moved her hand across the page. Her leg bounced underneath the desk. Her breathing was uneven, and her eyebrows were furrowed the entire time. Minutes turned into hours as she did the paperwork. It was almost three in the morning when she finished, and she had been up since 6 yesterday. She had been awake for almost 21 hours. She felt like passing out. She turned in her paperwork and left the station, walking out into her police cruiser, and getting in. She sat in the driver's side seat, just sitting. She was in no state to drive right now and she knew that. She sat there, for a good minute. Before resting her head on the wheel. She sighed. “What is wrong with me?” She asked herself out loud. She felt like crawling under a rock and dying.
After a good minute, she finally started the car. She was in no state to drive right now, but she didn't care. She started to drive, following all the proper road laws and obeying every light and sign. She drove a good twenty five minutes to the hospital, and parked. She knew visitor hours were over. Even so she still stayed in her car, to tired to drive home now. She leaned the seat back the farthest it could go and laid back. Sure it was uncomfortable and the bright lights from the hospital and lights from the parking lot were unbearable, but being at least this close to her niece made her feel at ease. She moved her arm to cover her eyes, hoping to block out some of the lights that were coming from the parking lot. Percy's thoughts spiraled as she sat there, each thought different and contradicting one another. She blocked them all out. Soon enough she fell asleep.
Hours passed and the sun started Percy in the face as she woke up. As she sat up from her uncomfortable position in the seat her back cracked. The car clock read 9:12. Five hours of lousy sleep that she didn't even count as comfortable. “Damn.” She winced as she fixed her seat to be in the upright position. She stretched the best she could, given the small space she was in. Visitor hours were from 10am-10pm. She had a little over half an hour to kill. Though she didn't feel like killing it. Percy, even though she knew the hospital wouldn't do anything about letting her in, decided to start walking up to the hospital anyway. As she was walking through the parking lot she pulled out her phone. It was almost dead, not having been on the charger for almost a day. There were a couple of texts, ones of which she was too tired to answer right now. Walking into the hospital she was met with the sounds of a man panicking, however, this wasn't just any man. This was her brother.
“Who cares if I'm early! My daughter is in there, injured! I swear to God I will sue!” He threatened.
“Daniel. Put the empty threats away.” Percy commanded in a tired tone. Daniel turned around at the sound of Percy’s voice.
“Percy? What the hell are you doing here?”
“I was going to make sure my niece is alright. Now move.” Percy's tone was cold. Colder than normal.
“I-Im sorry to intrude but visitor hours aren't until ten…” the small older receptionist lady behind the desk stated with a wavering voice.
“I am aware. I was going to wait.”
“Wait?! Percy! Parker is in there!” Daniel shouted. “She could be dead!”
“She's not dead. I know that, because I was there.” Percy’s tone got colder. Her brother's lack of common sense always bothered her.
“Oh, if you were there why the hell didn't you do something?!” He said back, his voice getting louder. He widened his stance, his six-foot frame trying to intimidate Percy. She was tired, anxious and upset. She didn't have the time or the patience for his shit today.
“For your information, I did. I was there, I fought him off, and I did my job as an officer and a caregiver. Something you wouldn't know about because, for the last seven years, you and Harper have been in Glassport doing God knows what.” Percy snapped. Her tone didn't raise, but it got cold and harsh. “And only when it's convenient for you is when you do anything for Parker. When was the last time you spoke to her?” Daniel didn't reply, he stood there. His arms crossed. “Exactly. I didn't think so. I have done my damnedest for this girl, trying to do everything in my might to understand and connect to her. The only reason you sent her with me is because of her neurodiversity damnit. God forbid anybody in this family be different.” Percy was surprisingly gentle with her rant.
“So I'm not allowed to make sure my daughter is alright?” Daniel retorted.
“She's not your daughter anymore when your sister has been her goddamn caregiver for seven years!” Percy was getting loud. She felt slightly bad that she was arguing in a hospital, but she needed to tell her brother her thoughts. “Tell whoever the hell you want, but Parker is my daughter! I've fed her, clothed her and put a roof over her head for the last seven years! And I've done all that while still maintaining my job, my social life and my own neurological condition!” She breathed heavily. “So no, you have no right to call her your daughter.”
Daniel scoffed. “What the fuck ever Percival. That damn autism still making you a stubborn little shit.” He rolled his eyes and left the hospital. He wasn't gonna deal with her shit, to him she was still a child, one who couldn't do anything on their own. She was viewed like that by all the King men in the family. Percy being left standing there, breathing heavily, looked at the clock on the wall, 9:44.
The older receptionist lady behind the desk quickly scribbled on a pink piece of paper and handed it to Percy. “Here, love. If anyone asks, tell them you've been waiting for a while and I let you in early.” The piece of paper had the receptionist's name on it, a time, and the room number for Parker.
Percy nodded. “Thank you.” Percy took the paper and held it in between her index and middle fingers. She wasn't expecting to argue with her brother this early in the morning, hell she wasn't even expecting him to be here at all. But she meant every word she said to him. Percy walked through the quiet, cold halls of the hospital. The smell of stagnant death in the air. The smell was off-putting, so much so that she resorted to mouth breathing.
Parker's room wasn't much different, the smell and vibes were the same. Percy didn't bother knocking or anything. Parker was seen on the bed tapping her fingers together. She noticed Percy walk in and went to speak, but before she could Percy walked up and hugged her. This hug held more meaning than the other hugs they had shared in the past. This one was tighter, and full of protective love. When Percy pulled away she placed a gentle hand on Parker's cheek and spoke. “Are you alright?” Parker nodded.
“Yeah, I'm okay, Auntie. You look tired… Are you okay?” Parker asked back as Percy held her hands.
“I'll be fine. Just a little shocked is all.” Percy responded.
“I'm sorry. About everything… I should've-”
“No, don't say anything.” Percy hushed her. “I know what happened. And I was expecting it. You're a stubborn girl, and you're a problem solver. You sneaking out wasn't as much of an issue as it was what happened last night.” Percy squeezed her hands in her own. “I know you weren't expecting it, but you did well holding your own.”
“If I did well, why am I in a hospital?” Parker asked. “And if you're not bothered by it, why do you look so stressed?”
“I'm stressed because I'm worried. About you. And the way I handle things…” Percy admitted as she sighed. “I know I'm not perfect, I'm far from it. But I try. And what happened last night scared me. And I'm sure it scared you just as much.” Parker nodded. It gave her one hell of a scare.
“It did.” Parker said. “Why do people like that exist? I was minding my own business.”
“I'm not sure, sweetheart. Just know he's behind bars now.” Percy softly smiled as she moved a strand of Parker's hair from her face. “Did the police come speak to you?”
“Yes ma'am. They did. I gave them my statement and everything.”
“Good girl.” Percy smiled. “I'm glad you're alright. I don't know what I would do without you.”
“Die?”
“Who knows? Glad I won't have to find out.” Percy laughed a bit. As she gave Parker a side hug. The two went on, carrying on conversation for a while. Soon enough a doctor came in.
“Ms. King?” He said. Both girls perked their heads up. The doctor looked at the two and asked Percy, “You're Parker's mother, correct?” Percy was going to correct him, she was her aunt, but figured she might as well just accept it.
“Yes.” Parker gave Percy a confused look.
“Here's her discharge papers. Fill these out, give them to the front desk and she's able to leave.” He handed her a clipboard, then promptly left the room.
As Percy was filling out the paperwork she could sense Parker's look of confusion. “Parker? What's with the look?”
“Why didn't you correct him? You always correct people.” Parker asked as Percy continued the paperwork.
“Simple. Didn't need to.” The confused Parker more. Percy went on to explain. “If I take the role of a mother, I might as well accept it, right?”
“I assume?” Parker said. “So… I'm your daughter…?”
“Not biologically. But yes.” Parker let out a noise of acknowledgment and happiness. Percy wasn't usually this open with how she felt. But she wasn't objecting to it. “Paperworks done, grab your stuff.”
“Yes mom” Parker said jokingly as she grabbed what few things she needed to.
“Let's not go that far.” Percy responded.

Sorry, I really thought about typing out the whole name but then I was like “Nahhhhh… they’ll get it.” 😬 I wrote a piece of fiction for March 3rd this year that I liked, but I think I’d have trouble with a longer story but honestly your encouragement might be enough to get me to try! Another fic idea I had was a sort of Anya Likes Clarke But Clarke Is Too Busy Trying To Get Her People Out Of Mount Weather To Notice triangle, where Anya lives and gets to introduce Clarke to Lexa and both grounders are 100% smitten with Clarke, cause let’s be honest, I think if it was given time to develop, it might’ve happened. The angst that would play out when Lexa chooses to betray Clarke would just be.. mmmmph *chefs kiss*. Anya torn between her duty to her commander and former seken, and between the sky girl that had quickly made a crash landing into the deepest parts of her heart. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% Clexa trash, and only Clexa trash, but I do like seeing the could-be relationships for Clarke played out. Like Princess Mechanic, or Octavia x Clarke (I don’t know if there’s a specific name for that), or Anya x Clarke. Hell, I even saw a short one shot once for an Echo x Clarke and that was interesting as hell to read.
Not to ramble too much but on this idea there’s another great one where Lexa is trapped in the mountain and gets rescued by Clarke instead of Anya. Doesn’t make the most sense, seeing as Mount Weather would not be dumb enough or have such a lack of info that they wouldn’t know who they had, but you need suspension of disbelief with all these things, okay? That one is just more one shot material but it gives us a chance to develop things between the two rather quickly, as it shows Lexa right away that Clarke is loving and amazing and that Skaikru is different from the maunon.
SORRY FOR RAMBLING IN YOUR INBOX. I have like a whole folder full of fic ideas in my notes that I don’t think I could pursue even if I spent nothing but the rest of my life going at it 😂
First of all, don't ever apologize for going off in my inbox. It's fine bby it's what it's there for!
Second,
Ok i sat with this for a few days because I really wanted to roll it over in my mind, and I have to just be honest. I am not the target demographic for this fic 😅
Now I'm definitely not shitting on your idea or even the want for this pairing or dynamic! So don't take it as that! I guarantee there are people who would eat this fic tf up ok
But for me personally, I just... I can't get down man. I can't. Because here's the thing, I have a hard time seeing Anya (specifically canon Anya) as anything other than a motherly/sisterly/mentor figure to Lexa. To the point I even wrote about it in my own canon fic that's coming. It's just something that's deeply embedded in my brain - Anya and Lexa are more like family than anything. More specifically, Anya is a kind of maternal figure, if not a hard-nosed older sister type situation.
So for me something like this causes a lot of narrative problems because I have a hard time finding a way to plausibly have it that Anya would ever knowingly go after someone Lexa was interested in. Lexa already had soooo few people in her life that were just there to support her and who she was allowed to love - which I think she did love Anya, her reaction to finding out Anya had been killed was devastation when you filter it through the hardened mask of Heda. So I have a hard time reconciling the idea of having one of those few people compete against her for a love interest. I have a hard time believing Anya wouldn't have seen immediately that Lexa was developing feelings. And when she did see that, I don't see her then ever entertaining the idea of possibly getting in between Lexa and this girl who had captured Lexa's attention.
I just don't think Anya would ever do that. Not only because of her respect for Lexa as Heda, but her respect and love for Lexa as Lexa
Also, and this is a big ALSO in the whole thing for me, going along with the idea of Anya being a motherly/sisterly/mentor figure, I just don't see Anya seeing Clarke as attractive or a viable lover interest. I mean she practically raised Lexa right? That's basically fanon lore at this point. And the thing is.... Clarke is younger than Lexa. By a few years
I just, I can't imagine Anya seeing someone younger than Lexa and not being like, "Ok well that is a fucking fetus. Who gave a toddler a handgun. 🤨"

Smiling at the lil black and brown girls who are in awe of Halle.
How she handles her interactions with them with grace and gives them so much joy and love.
Watching that... And thinking back to when I was one of those kids at Disneyland.
I had a lil yellow book to get character signatures and I wanted everyone to sign my book.
Bby Star had a goal and she was going to complete it.
Teeny mini mouse purse, ears and all.
With more patience than you'd expect a 5 year old to have I'd wait for my turn in the small crowd of kids and smile when it was my turn.
My dad filmed the whole holiday.
Well... Almost all off it.
I never got to see the princesses.
Which suprised me because I adored them as a kid, even now.
I assumed it was just something I missed out on because of time or they were too busy.
That turned out not to be the case.
Apparently I had shuffled my way to see them.
I wasn't a shy kid, not back than and my dad would tell me in punjabi to get thro the small crowd of kids.
My parents really wanted me to know that there weren't too many kids around for them to miss me.
This part wasn't filmed for... Obvious reasons.
My mum said the princesses actively avoided me, looking the other way when I got close or walking to some family miles away when I was right their infront of them.
It happened more than once.
They stopped me from going to see anymore because it was upsetting me.
It royally pissed my parents off, but there was nothing they could do. Even if they went with me, one of them keeping an eye on my little brother.
Who for some reason just liked running all over the place.
The princesses just didn't want to go near me.
I didn't get much out of my parents when I asked but they were adememt it was because I was the only poc in the lil kid crowds.
Given the racism my parents faced just existing in the country to go on a family holiday.
This was Disneyland Paris BTW.
So it's just so heartwarming seeing these little girls, these kids gave that magical moment with Halle and the live action Ariel at the parks.
Don't worry out lil star she got a bunch of signatures, hugged a lot of characters and got stuck up a bunkbed.
