SOME OF US HAVE /SOCIAL ANXIETY/ You're literally an evil person for wishing people would treat you with bare minimum decency :/ like idk how to tell you this but if a waitress asks how your evening is while she's taking you to your seat in a restaurant and you're gonna pretend saying "Fine, thank you" is a horrific arduous task like. When a new black-haired blue-eyed person appeared in the manor, one could easily be forgiven for thinking that Bruce’s adoption problem had struck again. So color many a batkid surprised that no, this kid isn’t a new sibling, no he didn’t get grabbed from the street, and actually he’s here for Alfred. Apparently Alfred never found it important to mentioned that he has a husband- that the kid kind of implies isn’t human what with the casual way he says he himself is half human- and that this kid is apparently their child. For once it’s Bruce’s turn to come home to a surprise sibling. 

Danny on the other hand just learned that his Clockpa has a semi-mortal partner who has offered to take him in, (in another dimension even! And there’s aliens!!) while the ancient takes care of some stuff at home. And yeah it’s in a rich-manor but Sam has proved that not all rich people are evil, and based off of Mr Pennyworth’s stories the Waynes weren’t bad either. Though based off of the others’ reactions perhaps he should wait to mention that there wasn’t one new family member but three…

Alice inviting Sam and Celia to the show seems less like trying to fuck w Sam or his relationship (or even flirting w then both) and more like she's fucking lonely. she might have genuinely wanted them there, cuz, y'know, hanging out w people is how you make and keep friends generally. like,,,, before Celia it sounded like Sam and Alice were chillin' at work and had regular banter but since Celia showed up Sam's attention is all on her and hes started treating every interaction with Alice as an annoyance (and just generally being grumpy, if you consider his interaction w Gwen that one time). plus it's not like Gwen has time for Alice to even mess w her anymore. everything is changing and I don't think Alice is taking it well

something i’ve been thinking about since seeing saw x that i haven’t really seen anyone else bring up is that. the only survivor is the rich white lady. she’s taking advantage of all these people. valentina’s a sex worker, gabriela’s an addict, etc etc like. her surviving the movie (to me) kind of represented how people like her walk away almost completely unscathed even after all the harm they caused to other people. she was sort of an instigator, in the way that she was making them do the traps. it came off as kind of supportive in a way, like a “you can do it!! cut your leg off!! if you put your mind into it anything is possible!!” almost pretending to be helping them

cecilia, as a character, represents big pharma and capitalism and how they fuck over everyone. it goes after people who have no hope left, that includes the terminal cancer patients she scams AND everyone else who becomes involved with her. they do it because they need to survive, cecilia does it because she wants to get rich. and she’s not above doing anything, she WILL waterboard a child

idk i just found that really interesting, the movie takes place almost entirely in mexico and the only person to survive is cecilia, the only non-mexican person involved in the trap

actually i love it when the characters are all lying. i love it when they all have secrets and none of them trust each other. i love being given clues that solve puzzles i haven't even been presented with yet. i also love it when i get chills watching a scene without even knowing what it means, and when i do know what it means, i get even more chills. i love theorizing and thinking and solving and coming up with possibilities of where a story might be going. i love it and i will do it for free, for fun, for no real reason.
