magical girls and the “go piss girl” meme aren’t gendered terms to me anymore that’s actually very gender construct of you to emphasize the “girl” instead of the essence of the phrase/ j
I laughed bc I saw a tiktok the other day where a trans masc was jokingly complaining when his friends try to change the pronouns in “go piss girl” he was like “actually that’s more gendered just tell me to ‘go piss girl’ like everyone else” like you lose the joke bc you’re quoting something you wouldn’t change it for a cis man that’s what makes it funny!!
But being serious for a minute, magical girl is a genre. Even if there are male characters in a magical girl series it doesn’t change that the genre is called magical girl. It’s not describing gender, it’s describing a set of tropes and aesthetics. I don’t have any issue with the term magical boy but sometimes people try to correct me when I’m talking about male characters in the genre and it takes everything in me to not “ummmm actually.”

least favorite phenomenon in the world is when a fictional woman doesnt have the most perfect writing in the world and people's response is to completely trash the woman or pretend they dont exist or straight up hand over all the cool bits of their narrative to a male character.......... like erm i love women can we make her cooler or work on fixing her narrative or whatever instead of deleting her suspiciously fast. please.

yeah woww !! transmascs getting top surgery, whoa! transmascs getting bottom surgery, so cool! transmascs who don't get surgery, sick!!
How about transfems. Are you normal when transfems want or don't want to get surgery. Are you supportive in a nonsexual way? Yes, person #12345, you find them hot, but do you see them as normal?

In your post about free the nipple what do you mean by 'post op?' I'm confused because it frankly seems irrelevant to a discussion of breasts, unless you mean BA surgery which like, isn't necessary for a transfems breasts to be seen as obscene.
in my anecdotal experience I have only seen cishets consider it obscene for trans women who have gotten top surgery. Even if they have breasts from HRT. The argument in their mind seems to be that Cis men can naturally have breasts but are allowed to be shirtless and they see it as similar. Does it make sense? Not really. Did I invent this weird gymnastics a lot of liberals go through to have the weirdest takes? No. Is it different elsewhere? I suppose it must be since people think my comments referring to the weird mindset surrounding breasts in my area are absurd.

Seeing all the trans headcanons and general queer headcanons for marble hornets is so funny bc it’s like:
“Tim has been haunted by an unknown entity for the majority of his life and said entity has decided to target people close to him and Tim isn’t sure he’ll ever know real peace or happiness. Oh, also he’s trans, slay king.”
Like, the Operator? Horrifying, deadly, bane of his existence. Being trans? Big chillin, figured that out between getting gaslit and tormented and going “what else are people wrong about” and it ended up being his gender lmaoooo

the nature of being a guy who is not generally perceived as such in person is that sometimes a cis man who's on decently friendly terms with you will tell you something to the effect of "you know, you're cool, I don't meet too many girls like you" and you will be faced with the choice of
a) tell him you're actually a man. invite transphobia on yourself and reaffirm his notion that cool women do not, in fact, exist.
b) say nothing. allow him to go on thinking you're a woman and that this clumsy attempt at flirting is getting him anywhere. die inside, but at least maybe he thinks girls can be cool now, sort of, sometimes.
c) tell him that in your experience women are very often cool, but say nothing about yourself. possibly the best option, but might make him defensive and that's just exhausting to deal with.
d) set him on fire with your mind. this would solve every problem in this situation but would unfortunately create several more to replace them.
