What is a sweet nothing? Follow up question: if you can whisper sweet nothings, can you shout them too?
A "sweet nothing" is a phrase or word used to express intimacy to a loved one. Traditionally, such vocalizations are whispered but can be expressed at any volume for different results:
If one were to hold their lover close and caress their neck and whisper softly, "You make me so happy," the partner may well simply smile and hold them closer.
If however, one were to grab them by the hair and growl loudly at them, "You hot slut, I’m gonna make you moan like a walrus with sleep apnea," then their reaction may be very different.
Please also note that walrus apnea is no joke as CPAP masks cannot fit their tusks.

reminder that seroquel is neurotoxic. as in, toxic to your nervous system. i understand some people are willing to deal with that for the medicinal benefit but i need every person on this to know. you are taking a neurotoxic substance.
you are taking a substance that acts on 47? receptors in your brain (most medications act on one to several but my god not 47). it is an anticholinergic (class of medications that have been linked to dementia), an antihistamine, and it blocks serontonin. it is basically a chemical lobotomy and in fact, thats how some doctors describe antipsychotics when they were developed - as a chemical alternative to a lobotomy.
it also carries risk of metabolic syndrome, movement disorders, increases stroke risk, (rarely) can increase your QtC interval (heart thing) leading to a condition that causes sudden death. if you have sleep apnea or POTS it can make that worse - same with diabetes and insulin resistance. i could go on. the side effects from this are many and serious.
i dont have energy for sources now so please factcheck me and do your own research but by the love of god.. i just want mentally ill people to know the risks of their medication so they can make an informed choice. especially since many of us are on this for years, indefinitely, effectively for the rest of our lives.
please, if you're on any antipsychotic (or any medication), do research and do what's best for you. ask for alternatives if you must. you deserve and need a good quality of life and it is entirely understandable and normal for the risks and harms of these medications to outweigh the benefits.
if you continue to take these please monitor your health and implement preventative measures. be safe. you are loved.

"omg you get to nap all day"
I literally can't control it, I'm so tired and fatigued by doing anything in the day time that I have to nap even of it doesn't really make me less tired.

Bringing back my F*CK Chronic Illness stickers on a made to order basis so that I can keep making new ones every day, for everybody. They have a graphic relating to the illness and the outline is the color of the awareness ribbon. (I also have POTS and Diabetes, which I had manufactured)

day 299
cha boy is starting on a cpap machine for the first time tonight
it turns out, that when i sleep, my cringe-ass larynx blocks itself up, and i STRAIGHT UP STOP BREATHING for up to 20 seconds at a time! of course i have always managed to start back up again, but as u might imagine this doesn't lead to great sleep quality
so wish me luck on getting that Good Sleep for once. god gives his toughest battles to his sleepiest warriors and all that.

oh my god, sleeping in a recliner is like magic. 2nd night i did it, and i feel more rested. i can tell my sleep apnea is better. this is the best position for me. although i could probably use a bit more lumbar support, and idk how viable this is long term yet, in terms of pressure on the base of my spine.
i do want to be able to lay in my bed though... sleeping laying down flat, no matter if its side, front, or back, is excruciating. my nerve damage is impossible and my joints are just too hypermobile for any of it. there's gotta be a way to make my bed more like the recliner.
i need to figure out how to get proper spine support to lay reclined in bed... im gonna look into it but if anyone has advice i'd appreciate it :)

Tip: if you pour cheap wine in your CPAP machine's humidifier, you will have dreams of drunken revelry and wake up with a nice buzz going.
