Sauron making robots and infusing them with the mindwiped souls of his prisoners
Maedhros is only able to feel pain or neutral for "first week alive" pleasure is added later. Sauron reaching and peeling back a section on skin on Maedhros's inner thigh to reveal the control panel, switching the dial that controls Maedhros's cock from "hardens with stimulus" to "priapism." Sauron will turn it back in a few days.
Sauron is building Finrod's body from the ground up, so there's no need to include vocal chords. The lack of moans is worth no risk of Song, and Finrod's new tail wags well enough to show pleasure.
Sauron considers Celebrimbor his masterpiece though. The controls are accessed on his upper back, so Sauron doesn't accidentally hit a button when Tyelpe is riding him, and Tyelpe can't see at all what settings Sauron is changing. Sometimes it's fairly routine like making his asshole tight, sometimes it's making him orgasm every time he licks his lips.
Tyelpe is designed for pleasure, with no ability to feel pain at all. (Sauron has fond memories of his time as Annatar in Celebrimbor's city, and wants only happiness for him.) Even when Sauron slices Tyelpe's thighs to ribbons, or snaps his fingers one by one, Tyelpe moans and whimpers at how good it feels.
Sauron still does lock Tyelpe out of his body completely sometimes, awake but paralyzed from the neck down while Sauron makes his navel fuckable. Squirming would mess the surgery up, whether in pleasure or pain. And once Sauron is done installing the new orifice, he leaves Tyelpe immobile on his workbench, to give it a day to heal.

Five Famous Book Monsters Drawn: EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED BY AUTHORS!
Many movie adaptations of famous novels change the character and creature designs, some very drastically. Here are five famous monsters or villains that I've rendered with great care toward their original descriptions in their first books. Some aren't what you might expect from the movie versions! Enjoy!
#1- The Exorcist
Tumblr media
The Exorcist by Ira Levin features a demon named Pazuzu. In the book, we see a few glimpses of a wicked face and a horribly injured Linda Blair, but in the original novel, Pazuzu is described as a skeletal ghost with a snakelike spinal column that ends in a devil tail. His hands float separately, and his many horns are topped by a hat with a pigeon feather, much like the biblical description of the demon.
#2- Jaws
Tumblr media
Jaws by Peter Benchley was much more of a sci-fi novel than the movie based on it. In the original story, the shark had a human-like mind and arms and legs. It was well armed and killed not with its teeth, but its two AK-47s. It is only defeated when the sheriff ties its loose shoelaces together.
#3- The Lord of the Rings
Tumblr media
Sauron is described by J.J.R. Tolkien not as the fiery eyeball or armored mammoth seen in Peter Jackson's movies, but rather as a beautiful long haired man in a white robe with chubby cheeks and enormous, pendulous bosoms. Over 30 pages are spent describing the Mounds of Doom, or in Elvish "Orodroobies" and in Sindarin, "Amon Amammaries."
#4- Frankenstein
Tumblr media
Mary Shelly's masterpiece is considered the dawn of sci-fi and horror alike, but it's iconic monster looked nothing like Boris Karloff in the text. Rather it was a tentacled half-octopus, half-man, half-dragon that caused madness in anyone who saw it emerge from its home, the lost island of R'lyeh. Note that the name "Frankenstein" is not that of the monster itself, but is the closest a human can come to pronouncing its true name, as recorded by Igor Alhazrad.
#5- The Lorax
Tumblr media
It's hard to guess what Roald Dahl pictured just from the descriptions in his novel, but the title monster from his 15-Volume Norwegian language epic "The Lorax" is nothing like you may have seen in the popular CGI erotic film. In the novel, it has orange hair and big eyebrows but is more like a spectral demon with crystal eyes and jagged fangs that bounds through the Norwegian desert on its two massive feet, each of which has one claw. A similar fate met Agent Smith from his novel "The Matrix" who was a big green robot in the book, but is clearly a Hugo Weaving in the movies.

Writing Notes: Villain Archetypes
Tumblr media
Many of the great villains that oppose classic heroes fall into a handful of villain archetypes:
Anti-villain: The anti-villain is a villain archetype in which the bad guy has a sympathetic motivation or appealing characteristics. In the same way that an anti-hero is ostensibly a good guy with villainous or immoral tendencies, an anti-villain may have justifiable, noble goals or even a good side. Example: Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs (portrayed by Anthony Hopkins in the film version).
The beast: A classic villain whose goal is to terrorize and attempt to defeat the main character, the beast is a literal monster. This type of villain cannot be reasoned with and is often found in the horror or science fiction genres. The whale from Moby Dick and the shark from Jaws are examples of this type of villain.
The bully: Bullies serve as simple, straightforward opposition to the protagonist. This character archetype is sometimes marked by a backstory that explains their mean and oppressive tendencies, such as a childhood marked by abuse or insecurity. Other times, they are simply mean for the sake of being mean. Examples include Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Fletcher from the film Whiplash.
The machine: The machine is similar to the beast, with one major difference: It is a technological construct and is therefore lifeless and incapable of pain, fear, and emotion. The machine can often be found in science fiction thrillers—like Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron or Arnold Schwarzenegger’s robotic killing machine in The Terminator.
The mastermind: The mastermind opposes the protagonist by overseeing a brilliant, diabolical master plan. They are a gifted schemer and evil genius who attempts to defeat the protagonist mentally as opposed to physically. Great villains in the mastermind tradition include Hans Gruber from Die Hard and Lex Luthor from the Superman series.
Evil incarnate: This villain personifies evil itself, offering little in the way of character development or backstory. This type of evildoer serves as an obstacle to the hero’s journey and is primarily found in fantasy and superhero genres. Examples include Sauron from The Lord of the Rings, Darth Vader from Star Wars, and the Joker from The Dark Knight.
The henchman: The henchman exists to do the dirty work of someone else, usually the mastermind or another major evil character in the story. They are functionally the sidekick of the main villain. Though they usually lack the villain’s brains, they make up for it in brawn. Examples include Boba Fett from Star Wars and the monkeys from The Wizard of Oz.
The fanatic: The fanatic’s villainy is driven by an extreme ideology. Oftentimes, they are propelled by religion or a twisted moral belief that gives them fuel to carry out their twisted mission. The serial killer John Doe from the movie Seven is a true villain in the fanatic tradition.
Tips for Writing Compelling Villains
When it comes to writing villains who transcend cliches, there are 4 techniques that can elevate your writing:
Make sure your villain has a strong connection to your hero. A true villain is inextricably connected to the hero and aids in the hero’s character development.
Make them a worthy opponent. A great villain is a strong and worthy adversary to your hero, directly opposing the hero archetype of your protagonist. The villain shouldn’t be weak and easily beaten, nor should they be so powerful that they can only be defeated by random chance. In the Sherlock Holmes stories, Holmes’s arch-nemesis Moriarty is a brilliant criminal mastermind. Having a villain who is equal in skill and intelligence to your hero will raise the stakes of their encounters, creating a credible threat to your hero.
Put yourself in your villain’s shoes. When it’s time for your villain to act, put yourself in their place. Think about challenges or hardships that might tempt people to act out or behave badly. How do you react to bad things? Tap into those emotions and try to apply them to your villain.
Consider your villain’s motivation. Why does your villain want to rule with an iron fist? Why do they want to put the damsel in distress? As with your main character, determining your antagonist’s motivation can help you unlock other aspects of their character, such as their goals and their personality.

You know how my HC is that during the Imperium secundus arc Konrad’s mental state is deteriorating to the point that his physicality is falling apart. Not just in terms of him appearance but also in terms of containing his warp spirit.
The veil between the warp-being he is and his physicality grew so thin that sometimes he doesn’t look fully “human” anymore, but people can see his true form, or at least his true form bleeding into his human one. Think of it like he’s glitching. His being is falling apart. The warp-form bleeding out of his body, it’s shell deprecating.
When Guilliman’s mom is facing him she sees a “being of smoke and shadow”. He’s described as “smoke and shadow” on multiple accounts - it seems to be his true warp form.
If you want a visual reference look up Gandalf vs sauron from the hobbit, sauron is also an entity who can take human form but in a weakened state appears in his spirit form of smoke and shadow.
Imagine it like seeing a demon thru their human disguise. Something’s off.
40k fans mistake warp forms for physical monsters. Corax isn’t a “raven monster”, he’s also an apparition of smoke and shadow that can take physical shape. This process is flawed in Curze as he falls apart so he can’t fully take a purely human shape all the time anymore. It’s inconsistent, sometimes more or less warp, but it’s there. The best way I can describe it is “his human shell is leaky”
Curze in his last arc is like a robot that still works and walks around but it’s leaking oil, it’s screws are loosened, parts rusted, internal workings misfiring, some cables broken, pieces falling off, voice system glitching, the computer running out of battery and misfiring from water damage
Walking around while trying to hold your internal organs from falling out because your skin keeps breaking and rotting apart.
His physical body is breaking apart on every level, including fundamental.
Imagine being poor Tarasha cowering in the corner, and seeing a giant apparition walk towards you that has a human shape but surrounded by smoke and shadow, the human shape seeming more like a skin or mask then a real body, being able to see the being wearing it, trying to hold it from falling off, moving oddly, sounding odd, otherworldly, you can feel the endless darkness and evil emanating off it like a black hole -
There’s this deep realization that you’re not talking to the face you see, this isn’t a human being, these are powers beyond you, this is evil and malice beyond you.
It’s like in terminator when the terminator’s human skin suit is melting / breaking off in places - that’s the vibe I’m thinking, but instead of a metal robot it’s a dark warp spirit
I can imagine to other primarchs it isn’t that big of a deal to notice it but to a human… seeing a healthy normal primarch is already overwhelming and terrifying, add on top of that seeing a healthy Konrad is even scarier because of his features but seeing Konrad as “clearly a warp demon in a skinsuit” must be the scariest thing imaginable

Every time I see LOTR posts saying that Elijah Wood looks like a porcelain doll turned human (I've seen a bunch lol) I think about those sci-fi shows about hyper realistic robots (androids) that gain consciousness. I think he'd slap in a modern AU like that.
Bilbo is weird because he's a rich reclusive who loves his android Frodo like a son? The one he took from his relative and his wife who had the android because they couldn't have children and died in an accident? There's bias in hobbit society against androids, some love them as a scientific accomplishment, others hate them as an abomination? (Some think Frodo murdered his parents/owners?) Frodo actually has/develops a consciousness and is confused about this? Sam, who works for Bilbo, is a bit biased against androids and therefore a bit scared and suspicious of Frodo but also kinda fascinated? Gandalf is the only one who understands Bilbo but is worried about his attachment to the android until he realizes Frodo developed own will and feelings? Frodo gets kidnapped by Sauron, who is a cult leader and seeks to destroy androids? Frodo is saved by the "Fellowship", Bilbo's friends?
Yeah that would slap

It is TROP canon that Sauron is a dysfunctional Roomba.
in love with the headcanon that Sauron’s fury in the 2nd age is because Galadriel flipped him on ‘mairon mode’, ditched him and now he’s spinning around like a confused dark lord Roomba 30% charged.

heeere you go! the first one is like a fusion of him with e8 Cyn from murder drones; the bow is from her design and his hair bow, the X eyes have a slit pupil in them because snake x solver, his outfit is a modified version of his current one more suited for movement and crawling, and the things coming out of his back are the cameras the Solver uses to project near-perfect illusions, hoisted by his own darkness instead of mechanical limbs. Also the hole thingy in his chest says 1001 for Cyn's manufacturing number and there should be a little drone head symbol in the middle but I can't draw it 😭
Second is magical girl annatar (unprompted but I thought it'd be funny to draw him super confused as to wtf is going on andcwhy he now has wings and sparkle effects. Eyes are wide and very girly because it's a reference to magical girl animes like Sailor Moon. Last one is just him Really Mad over Celebrimbor's deception and cool face shadow
THESE ARE INCREDIBLE!!! I love them so muchhhh!! I am so sorry for taking months to post this :( The art is so beautiful! Your style is perfect for Annatar!
I have to watch Murder Drones! The design is so cool!! Solver must be an awesome character. Him having a nice red hair bow is fantastic. Robot Saurons are always the best. His smug little smile is everything!
Magical Girl shows are some of my favorites, so Annatar + Magical Girls could not be better!! Becoming a Magical Girl is always quite shocking lol no wonder he is so suprised. Though I am certain he will get used to it as he is beautiful! So sparkley as he deserved!
Is it bad that I want to comfort Sauron after loosing the rings? I know he's bad, but he's so angry and upset and you did a great job at conveying this!
Once again, amazing job!!! I love your takes on Annatar!!
