We fear many things, but when it comes to villains or monsters. We get scared to our lowest point. No matter how brave, there's always one who'll remind you the true meaning of fear.
So here's 10 of the scariest villains you'll ever meet. Who do you think is the most terrifying? You be the judge on that...
I need fics where Bruce/Dick explicitly tell people that they didn’t let Tim become Robin because he knew, or because of Bruce’s mental state, or even because of the fact that Tim kept coming back.
I need them to be like “Yeah we’re pretty sure he was gonna become a villain before this. We’re honestly pretty lucky that he looked up to us. I mean, he was blackmailing us at age 12, he trained with Lady Shiva, outsmarted Ra’s, fought an evil version of himself from the future where he was a joint dictator with his friends… But he’s a good guy, and we can only hope he stays that way :)”
Your recent Kira stuff just made me realize how horrible Hayato’s situation was…
People don’t give Hayato enough credit, not only was his dad replaced by a killer, and his mother loves them more, but Hayato can’t even see stands. Dude was on a uphill battle and he’s like 11
His situation is chilling, and I think that’s why him and his story really interests me
I really forget how 'mainstream' the It movies actually are. Both of them, the 2017 and 2019 movies are on the top ten list of highest grossing horror movies of all time. The 2019 one is ranked number five while the 2017 one is the highest grossing horror movie ever as of now. It dethroned The Exorcist (1973) for that spot. That's literally insane. This is why we're getting a prequel series. The movies are so popular the Simpsons had a fucking parody episode of It.
And what gets me, the reason I forget the movies are way more popular then I remember is because it's all about the clown for the GA. I forget that a lot of people who watched the movies are there for Pennywise and not the Loser's Club.
What if all the turtle brothers had a savage mode?
Not necessarily triggered by separation anxiety like Raph, but is more like a survival mode in an unfamiliar environment?
I'd argue that Donnie experienced something of a Savage Mode during that episode when they were in the woods where he was acting like a feral creature of the forest and built that treehouse. I think in his Savage Mode, Donnie's gets hyper-aware and his brain kicks into overdrive, and I've always sort of seen him as the family's substantial provider - his high income from selling tech (he literally has a patented company - Genius Built), the Rise Lair looking surprisingly modern and comfortable given their circumstances - hence the treehouse. Even in his 'savage mode', Donnie thought of shelter and facilities first. Also, his homicidal urges would likely increase tenfold against threats.
With Leo, I'd like to think that his Savage Mood is more akin to ruthless, calculating strategist. He's a cunning bastard but usually loud and flamboyant, which would make it all the more unsettling if Savage Leo went quiet yet that sense of cunning and strategic mastermind was still present, and since he's in survival mode that means he's absolutely ruthless to any threats that may harm him and his family.
Mikey with Dr Delicate Touch as a survival mechanism would be deadly, but it'd be a lot more eerie if his Savage Mood maintained his cheerful dissonance yet had Dr Delicate Touch's abrasive and merciless behaviour. Killing with a smile, basically. He's tiny but strong, quick and resourceful as heck. Savage Mickey would be running around scaring people and wrecking havoc like a giggling gremlin.
Now take everything I just said, imagine it's post-Kraang invasion and put them into a crossover with another TMNT iteration. Just one of them alone would be a force to reckon with, as seen by Savage Raph, but all of them together, directly post-invasion?
[Also friendly reminder that Rise turtles were made intentionally by a then-villain for the purpose of destroying humanity(?) (Draxum does hate humans and why else would he want to create 'the strongest warriors'?)
Plus, they're dumb teenagers. The turtles definitely have a few moral screws loose]
Which means that the turtles from that dimension would have to deal with 4 feral, overprotective teenagers with overpowered mystic abilities in survival mode whose instincts are perceiving nearly every moving thing as a threat and telling them to ELIMINATE.
This whole scene had me more streessed and scared than any thriller and you can call me weak for it if you want. Im trying to sell it to you now through ryo's performance but really you guys should just watch i7 already without many spoilers cuz these snipets just arent doing it justice
One day I'll properly draw my fankid for Baatar and Kuvira, but I've been thinking about him a lot recently lol While the idea of Baatar siring like a $70million racehorse and him and Kuv ending up with a lot of kids (like his own parents) is all parts intriguing, ironic, and funny to me, in my mind I always pictured them with one kid they can pour all their obsession into. Especially with Baatar having grown up feeling lost in a sea of siblings.
I've had him in my mind for years but in two very different genres, one being the very light hearted Spy x Family-esque younger years and then the later idea where he grows up to be the sort of "next gen" villain who is even worse than his parents were. I always felt Baatar and Kuvira lent themselves well to being the start of a generational antagonist family because I truly feel like their DNA combined would create the Homelander of the avatar universe or something. I just struggle to combine those two aspects into a character that feels cohesive~ (though that is what AU's are for I guess lol)
since Mari’s found? let’s call it found for now family is chock-full of guys, modern!au Kid and Law probably have to go through several rounds of death threats every time she introduces them to a family member
Fear is truly a horrible weapon in the right hands of a villain. They can use it to any advantage rather if it's someone close, to your deepest weakness or something more terrifying. Or they can be the embodiment of that fear by putting it in you.
So this Halloween 10 features the most scariest villains you better pray you never meet in person.
Which villain do you think is more creepy? You be the judge on that.
I think one of the things I really appreciate about The Rookie is that it’s like, what if cops were actually about doing good? What if the white male cop realized he was trying to be a white savior and not only modified his approach in helping an underserved community but also brought in people within the community who could serve the same purpose? What if cops actually brought in mental health professionals first to deescalate a situation rather than blindly shooting? What if a male officer actively sought a different position in order to pursue a relationship with a colleague ethically? What if cops called each other out for trying to overlook/actively overlooking others’ offenses within the department? What if sexism and ageism were seen as problematic as they are? What if cops didn’t SUCK ASS
