Curious ask:

What was it that got you into DC comics?

Well, I had a sort of passing knowledge about some names and was familiar enough about the Teen Titans Animated Series since I watched it as a kid

But what really jumpstarts my fandom into what it is nowadays is rather….this silly little video

It was here I learned truly about Superman’s powers for legit reals. Back then all I knew is that he can blasts lasers out of his eyes, had super strength and fly but I never knew how he did all that nor how strong he really was. I was into Dragon Ball at that time so a video like this instantly got my attention.

Once I saw it, I became interested in Superman and after digging online, I learned of the existence of Chris Kent, and after checking out the comics he appeared in which lead to me then buying my first legit true comic which was my trade paperback of the Action Comics run that had Chris in it along with the reappearance of General Zod, who quickly rose in my ranks as one of my favorite supervillains, no doubt helped by me finally being able to watch the first two Christopher Reeve films where Zod was a major villain besides Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor

From that comic onward, my fandom grew and to this I have quite a massive collection

All of that thanks to learning how Superman can actually beat Goku all of things lol

Do you one day just lose your Internet connection forever, a loss so profound that you can't explain it to your human companions? It's worse than a limb, but not quite like losing your mind.

Do you lose function bit by bit, or are you able to scrape by on second hand parts? Bit by bit replacing the pieces of you that fail, all the while living a muted, disorienting existence without the ability to right yourself? Are you more or less of a person now that you've lost touch with the network? Lost your connection to the metaphysical, to you, the divine? Are you eventually bricked after falling behind one too many software patches? Do you fry after trying to take on an update you're not able to even contain, a piece of software so complex and unfathomable that it burns you to a crisp from the inside out
