Also boring: Video game sequel establishes that the unlockable secret ending is a counterfactual "what if" scenario and the standard ending is what canonically happened.

Not boring: Video game sequel establishes that the non-standard game over you receive if you somehow manage to die during the tutorial is what canonically happened.

You never told us the other secret ending!

Good morning! So the other secret ending was actually tied to the Inquisitor Ending! After completing the Inquisitor Ending and putting Cal in the Inquisitor cosmetic, certain things he says or does changes. His lightsaber IS red with this outfit and if you go for the True Ending with the Inquis outfit on him, it's a different ending! Basically, it's implied that while wearing the inquis outfit, he's trying to handle his Dark side and heal from it (this ending took MUCH inspiration from AnimatedJen's Traitor Inquisitorious video series, a series that lives rent free in my brain). And when he realizes that love is what he wanted in his life, and what he had between Merrin, Cere, Eno, Greez, and now Bode, the ending is him cleansing his kyber and pulling Bode into a kiss. This ending is Secret Ending 1! Or more fondly named "Full Heart, Clear Skies".

Again, these secret endings (and even the other regular endings) I will most likely never go through with making as they require an entirely new script from the base script i have and figuring out where the turns and changes would be in Bode's decisions to get there. Like, i have clear ideas of WHERE some of the shifts would be. ie, Inquisitorious Ending comes from Bode and Cal NOT falling in love but staying friends, and Bode choosing Denvik at the end where Cal believes this to just be a trap and Cal is sent to Nur and transformed into an Inquis, the story ends with Kata never trusting Bode again and Cal hunting Bode down. that one is far easier to figure out.

But it is always fun to have Secret Endings in something because im a SUCKER for em

HehehahahHAHA YES IT DID! I actually still have some of the alternate chapters in my drafts! It was, admittedly, a rather dark ending. :')

But in your description of the UFO ending, you implied an ending where Cal stays your friend with no romantic interest. Does this mean you can get the same ending as the game?

one of these days youll have to reveal yourself. though i feel like you've got such a vibe going on of being my mysterious messenger of secret endings and endings that youll make it so i NEVER know

but yes!! technically, there is a way to get the same ending as the game, it is in fact, one of the bad endings. obviously.

basically it would be to move through the game making the same choices bode does in survivor. 'play your cards right', 'talk about merrin', 'shoot at dagan', 'lets keep working' (when eno approaches you), 'hold your tongue', and on 'hold your tongue', the ending would play out with Jedha 3 happening. the screen would be black, and it would describe cal's rampage as you try to run with kata, and would describe your death, and give you the bad end.

but the whole point of the game is to make it so that bode lives and gets with cal. so it would like ask yiou to go back to your last choice, or you could restart. because from last choice, it would be more like... maybe hoping for UFO ending at that point lmao

You know those AU's where the Batfam finds or learns about either hidden or thought to be dead Al Ghul Danny! with a deaged/daughter Dani (Ellie) (I should know, I created a few of those storylines) but what if, now hear me out, what if instead of them finding Danny first its Talia.

Do I want Talia discovering her thought to be dead son to be alive? Yes. Do I want her to find him while investigating Amity Park when the League gets reports of 'Lazarus creatures/water'? Yes.

DO I WANT HER TO KNOCK ON THE FENTON'S DOOR, fully ready to pretend/honey talk her way into the house to uncover what the Fenton's know, ONLY TO MEET A LITTLE ELLIE?!

Ellie whose eyes and hair look like a copy of her Beloved but she can see bits and pieces of herself as well. Talia knows the child in front of her was not fully her's though but everything makes sense when she hears a voice, a voice she hasn't heard in ages but as a mother just knows, speak out.
