When you’re having a weird one about your work and someone you love and trust shows up for you with nothing but support, encouragement and positivity at a time when you really need it.

Sometimes talking about difficult situations is what you need to continue fighting against them. I'm grateful for friends who approach my mental health struggles with kindness and care. You're amazing people and I appreciate your presence in my life.

Galentines Day is so important to me. It is a day in the middle of a season where everyone is telling us that our value is based on whether or not there is romance in our lives, and instead of buying into that, we can stop and say, in the words of one of my Galentines Pal(entine)s, "romance is lovely but good solid friendships are more consistent." Supportive friends who are constants in our lives are so incredibly easy to take for granted. I am taking the day to tell my friends I appreciate them. Are you?

My friends always seem to come to me to vent about relationships, trauma, past experiences, sometimes heavy situations. They always seem to realize new things about themselves, their situations, or their mentalities. I'm honoured that people feel they can be 100% authentically them when they talk to me. I'll always try my best to be there for people, especially the ones I love. Sometimes the only way to help is to listen.
