Do you make your bed? Yes! When Birdie is not asleep in it (she gets a long lay in). I usually make it when she wakes up or when I come home from work! I keep a pretty clean house now I’m older :)

What’s your favourite number? 11 and 7! And 13 but I fear that’s corny

What is your job? I work as a personal assistant. It’s mainly focused on healthcare administration and nurse duties like giving medication and therapy, talking to doctors + surgeons etc. Because I assist him day to day I end up going out to the cinema or gigs with him a lot too! I help around the house too :) I really love my job + wouldn’t change it for anything. The guy I work for has become one of my best friends.

If you could go back to school, would you? I would love to go back to school! I did go to school for a bit, and had to be homeschooled when I turned about 12. I was lucky enough to be tutored one on one as a teenager. I would have loved to experience school properly and access all the different classes there are out there. I would love to finish my engineering class (: I had an apprenticeship at rolls Royce!

Can you parallel park? NO… I can only ride a motorbike. do not put me behind the wheel of a car.

A job you had that would surprise people? A high security hospital healthcare assistant. I literally nearly died 3 times + assaulted many times before I quit I was there 8 months. The shit I have seen .

I also worked in sterilisation in a hospital, then in the morgue. The hospital I worked in had underground passages & was very spooky and fun. I LOVED those jobs

Do you think aliens are real? Definitely! I think little microbes are out there, certainly

Can you drive a manual car? Please stop embarrassing me . No . In theory I can get in a car and drive but I literally shouldn’t

What’s your guilty pleasure? I don’t really have any shame in my pleasures lol sorry. I guess I like horrible terrible bottom of the barrel true crime tv shows from the early 2000s? Watching them w no brain activity + a beer + pot is good asf im sorry I don’t make the rules WAIT it’s lords of chaos. That’s it that’s my guilty pleasure I am excommunicated from the NBM scene bc of it . Oh and I also collect and play with toys

Tattoos? About 16 I think. Most are stick and poke. My favourite is one of Birdies masks I got done + is also my second biggest piece! My other two favourite are my moth + bunny rabbit :) I get tattoos during happy times in my life so I remember them

Favourite colour? I love dusty brown+ the warm grey the sky goes before snowing. Moss green too

Favourite type of music? I like black & Tolkien metal (LOL), throat singing, dungeon synth, witchhouse, rock and listen to a lot of filmi / soundtracks! i listen to a lot of music and its all my favourite I think a lot of people feel this way

Do you like puzzles? Yes! I love putting things together physically I LOVE Lego haha. And I like puzzles as in brain games too :) portal 1&2 were my favourite games growing up. And I think writing poetry + editing is a sort of puzzle too.

Any phobias? Not really actually. I used to be really phobic of flies (long and gross story) but not so much any more bc I need to be around them to feed my girls. I think my fears that look irrational on the outside aren’t bc they come from somewhere so. No no phobias

Do you talk to yourself? Yes all the time! A lot of the time it is out loud but I’m better at not doing that in public now. I talk to an invisible second person about what I’m doing / how I am etc constantly as if they asked. I used to narrate myself but now I only really talk to second person. It helps me remember what I’m doing & makes me feel comfortable. I have a dissociative identity disorder as well so. It is a given I talk to myself

What movies do you adore? The thing, alien, mirror mask, mother may I?, NITRAM, perfect blue, dogs dont wear pants, those shit silent hill films, skinamarink, the piano teacher, crimson peak, antiviral, crash, the death of Stalin, nekromantik, my little pony 1986, funny games, AKIRA, black Christmas, hereditary, prisoners, dune (any and all film / screen adaptation they’re all fun in their own way) jack goes home but I can’t fucking watch it, bones and all, lords of chaos but don’t tell anyone. Berserk, lord of the rings all films!!!!!! I also don’t watch many movies any more ): so my list is kind of only the films I remember existing . Also sea life documentaries

Coffee or tea? I love both of them but I like best to make coffee for me and birdie :)

1000 Books You May Have Actually Read

Rowling isn't denying holocaust. She just pointed out that burning of transgender health books is a lie as that form of cosmetic surgery didn't exist. But of course you knew that already, didn't you?

I was thinking I'd probably see one of you! You're wrong :) Let's review the history a bit, shall we?

In this case, what we're talking about is the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, or in English, The Institute of Sexology. This Institute was founded and headed by a gay Jewish sexologist named Magnus Hirschfeld. It was founded in July of 1919 as the first sexology research clinic in the world, and was run as a private, non-profit clinic. Hirschfeld and the researchers who worked there would give out consultations, medical advice, and even treatments for free to their poorer clientele, as well as give thousands of lectures and build a unique library full of books on gender, sexuality, and eroticism. Of course, being a gay man, Hirschfeld focused a lot on the gay community and proving that homosexuality was natural and could not be "cured".

Hirschfeld was unique in his time because he believed that nobody's gender was either one or the other. Rather, he contended that everyone is a mixture of both male and female, with every individual having their own unique mix of traits.

This leads into the Institute's work with transgender patients. Hirschfeld was actually the one to coin the term "transsexual" in 1923, though this word didn't become popular phrasing until 30 years later when Harry Benjamin began expanding his research (I'll just be shortening it to trans for this brief overview.) For the Institute, their revolutionary work with gay men eventually began to attract other members of the LGBTA+, including of course trans people.

Contrary to what Anon says, sex reassignment surgery was first tested in 1912. It'd already being used on humans throughout Europe during the 1920's by the time a doctor at the Institute named Ludwig Levy-Lenz began performing it on patients in 1931. Hirschfeld was at first opposed, but he came around quickly because it lowered the rate of suicide among their trans patients. Not only was reassignment performed at the Institute, but both facial feminization and facial masculization surgery were also done.

The Institute employed some of these patients, gave them therapy to help with other issues, even gave some of the mentioned surgeries for free to this who could not afford it! They spoke out on their behalf to the public, even getting Berlin police to help them create "transvestite passes" to allow people to dress however they wanted without the threat of being arrested. They worked together to fight the law, including trying to strike down Paragraph 175, which made it illegal to be homosexual. The picture below is from their holiday party, Magnus Hirschfeld being the gentleman on the right with the fabulous mustache. Many of the other people in this photo are transgender.

There was always push back against the Institute, especially from conservatives who saw all of this as a bad thing. But conservatism can't stop progress without destroying it. They weren't willing to go that far for a good while. It all ended in March of 1933, when a new Chancellor was elected. The Nazis did not like homosexuals for several reasons. Chief among them, we break the boundaries of "normal" society. Shortly after the election, on May 6th, the book burnings began. The Jewish, gay, and obviously liberal Magnus Hirschfeld and his library of boundary-breaking literature was one of the very first targets. Thankfully, Hirschfeld was spared by virtue of being in Paris at the time (he would die in 1935, before the Nazis were able to invade France). His library wasn't so lucky.

This famous picture of the book burnings was taken after the Institute of Sexology had been raided. That's their books. Literature on so much about sexuality, eroticism, and gender, yes including their new work on trans people. This is the trans community's Alexandria. We're incredibly lucky that enough of it survived for Harry Benjamin and everyone who came after him was able to build on the Institute's work.

As the Holocaust went on, the homosexuals of Germany became a targeted group. This did include transgender people, no matter what you say. To deny this reality is Holocaust denial. JK Rowling and everyone else who tries to pretend like this isn't reality is participating in that evil. You're agreeing with the Nazis.
