Meryl Stryfe aka Shrike, The Girl Wonder

-Former sidekick to Julai’s vigilante Derringer (Roberto).

-Chose a shrike instead of a robin bcz its size, ferocity & feather colours suit her more.

-Parents were a wealthy couple who stuck their nose in the wrong place & got killed for it.

-Was adopted by her investigative journalist idol, Roberto who was also her vigilante idol.

-Although og TT featured Dick Grayson, she’s more like Tim Drake in the sense that she deduced Roberto’s secret ID, stalked him with her camera & emailed him 999+ powerpoint slides titled ‘Why You Need A Sidekick (Like Me)’ until he gave in.

(-Also, she noticed Roberto’s alcoholism & his less than stellar coping mechanisms. Julai needs Derringer, but Roberto needed an actual person by his side, not just a mass of faces to protect.)

-Eventually got tired of being stuck in his shadow & struck out on her own.

-Then she met a tall hot alien princess, a guy who could shapeshift into the animal kingdom, his cyborg brother & a half-biblically accurate angel and persuaded them into forming a superhero team called the Teen Titans.

-Takes her position as leader (& the only non-superpowered individual) seriously but shows a softer side overtime, especially to Milly.

-The newspaper clippings in her room aren’t strictly for detective work. (Most) Some of them are for sentimental value.

Milly Thompson aka Stunfire, Tamaran’s Princess

-The youngest of 12 siblings in the Tamaranean monarchy.

-Powers are similar to Starfire’s, only her beams are yellow & can stun opponents.

-Gordanians kidnapped her as a bargaining chip against her family. As the youngest, they had no choice but to leave her on her own & prioritize their planet.

-Milly already knew this (because contrary to what many believe, she wasn’t stupid) & escaped on her own.

-Unfortunately, her attempts to remove the handcuffs caused a LOT of collateral damage & misunderstandings.

-A tiny but feisty human warrior talked her down & removed her bindings. Milly kissed her so she could thank her, though that might be difficult since she’s unmoving & her face is now red for some reason??

-Has a huge crush on Meryl but is a bit intimidated by her professionalism. Still, it’s even harder to NOT fall in love with the woman’s strong sense of justice & compassion.

-Visits cafes & goes on long flights with Vash, coaxes WW to try smaller cuter animals she can cuddle with & empathizes with fellow gentle-giant youngest sibling Livio's struggles to fit in/not be a burden.

-Loves to eat her pudding with mustard.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood aka Punisher, The Hunter

-Although every kid at the orphanage was a younger sibling to him, he felt a kinship to the strays, have it be cats, dogs or birds.

-One day, someone swung by, offering apprenticeships for some kinda fancy animal research school. WW liked animals & jobs like that sounded like they paid well, so why not?

-He instantly regretted this decision when he realized he was the ‘animal’ they planned to research.

(-The Eye of Michael is more or less this AU’s H.I.V.E. Academy.)

-Despite his rebelliousness, he was their top (specimen) student. Livio was also ‘enrolled’ to keep him in check.

-Both of them were assigned to the Gung-Ho Guns & sent on a mission to properly ‘graduate’. Instead, they ditched at the first chance.

-Wanted to hide but couldn’t resist lingering around the orphanage. After stopping someone from robbing the place, he realized maybe, just maybe, these powers he never asked for could be used for something other than senseless violence.

-Also, becoming a ‘hero’ was the biggest middle finger he could give to Chapel.

-The EoM constantly pressured him into using ‘strong animals’ but his teammates have slowly coaxed him into expanding, i.e. a cute cate for recon & a mole for hiding.

-Realizes he has feelings for Vash after getting to know him but feels unworthy of reciprocation. Still, that doesn’t stop him from plopping into his lap for emotional support.

Livio/Razlo Wolfwood aka Double-Fang, The Tri-Punisher

-Has always dreamed of being a hero but knew the best he could be was a doctor or firefighter or something.

-When the EoM returned with an empty slot, he jumped at the chance (even though Razlo said he shouldn’t, he really shouldn’t, you can’t trust them-).

-Wasn’t suitable for the animal genes, but his body adapted to the cybernetic modifications. They kept him around for Razlo & to ensure WW behaves.

-Eventually, they managed to escape. Livio was still optimistic about becoming a hero, but WW & Razlo were very reluctant.

-Once, Livio wandered too close to the orphanage & accidentally scared a younger kid who called him a monster. He went nonverbal & let Razlo front for a week.

-Returned after he helped WW stop someone from breaking into the orphanage. Both of them realized that their powers could be blessings. Thus, they became a crime-fighting duo.

-After a series of chance encounters, they’re now part of a team.

-Livio is very self-conscious about his cyborg nature, well-aware that out of everyone, the public finds him to be the most intimidating. Luckily, any tabloids who try to slander him mysteriously find themselves socially & financially ruined overnight.

-He’s aware of Vashwood & MillyMeryl. He has front row seats to 2 live slow-burn romances & a betting pool with Razlo on who’ll confess first.

Vash Saverem aka Stampede, The Rebel Angel Humanoid Typhoon

-He & Nai were raised by Rem, a pacifist priestess that worshipped angels called Plants.

-Their blissful childhood was shattered the day they discovered the remains of their older sister, Tesla, the Plant that came to the temple before them as a blessing only for the priests to treat her with less dignity than a sacrifice.

-Nai slaughtered the entire order, including Rem, in a fit of rage & fear. He established a new cult solely devoted to him & Vash. Overtime, his possessiveness & wrath became uncontrollable.

-While attempting to smuggle a group of innocent human sacrifices, Vash got into a fight with Nai that resulted in the loss of his arm.

-It was the final straw, he fled to Earth.

-Briefly, he was taken under the wing of Luida & Brad, the last two survivors of the original temple, who taught him human culture and how to regulate his emotions to have better control over his powers.

-An encounter with a group of heroes & an offer to join their new team had to be a sign. This was it, his chance to atone for his twin’s sins.

-Tries to be the best hero & the bestest ally possible (so the prophecy never comes true). It’s a bit ironic, he wields dark magic but his sunny attitude wouldn’t be out of place in a kids’ fairy cartoon.

-Deeply admires everyone’s kindness, especially WW’s but is terrified of loving him because of his true nature.

-Aside from dark matter-esque energy, his powers sometimes materialize in the form of his Tristamp branches & flowers. Has Plant markings but also Trimax’s biblical feathers & wings.

teen titans AU where they are all characters on a teen superhero romance show and Damian is the bad guy

New Teen Titans no powers AU. in which Raven Robin and Superboy star on a TV show called fuck I Fell for the superhero.  the show would follow Connor as The next door neighbor to an undercover superhero(Raven). in the show Connor attempts to Snoop on his new neighbors only to discover that their teenage daughter superhero he said crush on since grade school. he then goes on to befriend her Alter Ego while at school but after he makes no Headway and getting her to confess her superhero identity. he decides to go off on his own and build his skill in order to become A superhero and get her to notice him. the show would switch povs from both Connor and Raven's perspective.Connors perspective is a romantic rom-com in which he is consistently trying to get either one of her secret identities to fall for him without revealing the fact that he's both her superhero partner or that he knows about her secret identity. Ravens POV on the other hand is a classic teenage superhero perspective and mostly follows how she plans to defeat the various villains who arise on the scene. In the show Raven is completely oblivious to Connor's feelings Both as Superboy and her next door neighbor.  the antagonist Robin would appear in the show until 3 episodes before the finale. When he appears in his secret identity in order to transfer to Superboy and Raven’s School. this Of course happens just before prom. he quickly manages to befriend Connor as Damian suspects he may know the secret identity of the superhero Raven. meanwhile in Connor's POV his best friend Rachel confesses that she is a crush on the new boy is going to try and invite him to prom. ultimately Damian winds up turning her down in order to focus on his mission and Connor swoops into the save the day in classic Guy best friend who's secretly in love you fashion and invites her to prom himself “as friends of course”.  In the season finale, prom gets interrupted By the son of the big bad, Robin. he kidnaps Connor in an attempt to lure out the superhero Raven. He succeeds and the finale ends as she stumbles into what is almost definitely a trap. even though both Raven and Rachel are completely oblivious in the first season it is clear that the writers are setting up for them for them to get together in the upcoming season. as in the season finale in Rachel's POV she contemplates risking her secret identity to save Connor and talks about how important he is to her as one of her Only friends. all of this is of course completely derailed when the first episode of the new season comes out in which fans notice the insane amount of chemistry Between the superhero Raven and the villain Robin during their epic fight scene.(Robin has a Hoverboard) The fans immediately start shipping it and quite literally protest outside of the filming Studio to try and make it Canon. the show gets a massive uptake and viewers and the fanfiction is absolutely Wild. and is superior is forced to rethink some of their decisions.

I find this fanfic to be very original and still have the characters still acting "in-character". It is a great exploration into a "what if?" universe that centers around the Teen Titans. While, I do have a bit of a gripe about the number of chapters posted and the "eww" factor about the age difference between Damian and Raven. It still does not detract from how well done this concept is done. Plus, this one is worth a quick read by anyone who wants a little bit of bashing on Dick Grayson for being a "lady's man".

Metaphorical Aftertaste: It's like I just ate a small ginger snap cookie. Sweet and flavorful but with a bite.

Worth Rereading: Definitely

My Gripe: First, it needs more chapters! Second, there is a bit of an "ewww" factor in that Raven is supposed to be near the age of Nightwing/Dick Grayson and still be a love interest for Damian. ... It's better not to think about it and just enjoy the story.

Why Read It: Very original DamiRae fanfiction. While short, with only 3 chapters, it does pack a punch in terms of reading goodness.

CHAPTER ONE: A CUP OF TEA

It's difficult to lose your parents at such a young age. Unfortunately for Dick Grayson, this inconvenience hit him at the age of nine and he had no where to go. The only place he could ever call home was the circus, so when he heard he would be taken to an orphanage, he did the only thing he could think of. Run. He couldn't go to a place like an orphanage. He would never get to be himself in there. He would be kept in small and cramped rooms, and he wasn't a show tiger. He shouldn't be caged up like that.

He ran and ran. He didn't know where he was going, but he continued to run. With his acrobatic ability, he was too fast for any of the adults to catch him. He hadn't even noticed he wasn't being chased anymore; he hadn't even noticed he ended up in the city that was pouring with rain. With the water in his eyes, from both the rain and his tears, and the lack of oxygen, his vision started to blur and had trouble seeing where he was going. He only ran faster however, not realizing the street light he was head towards.

Dick couldn't go live in an orphanage, and he was willing to die to show that. That wasn't where he belonged. He belonged in the circus with his parents, but they were done and never to return.

Running at full speed, he hit the street light in front of him, knocking him out cold. Everyone passed by with just a mere glance, except for one.

A man old enough to care for the young child noticed him. He went over to him, silently observing his features while thinking. He noticed a small bump on the youngling's forehead and when he gently touched it, he whimpered. The man looked around to see if anyone around was looking for him, but found no one. With sympathy, but mainly curiosity, he lifted the boy into his arms and gently brushed the back of his head to soothe him.

No one paid any attention to the two as he carried the boy away. Maybe he could raise him to be like he is, to be just as ruthless as he. He had been looking for someone for a good while. He took him to an area at the edge of the city where not many people stayed. Once he got to where he was staying, he laid him on the couch, covered him with a blanket, and went to the kitchen to make some tea for when the young boy would wake.

He couldn't be too threatening and snappy right off the bat. The young one wouldn't trust him and would try to run away if he was. No, he'd have to play the long game, but he was very good at that. He was a patient man.

It wasn't long until Dick woke up. His head ached and once his eyes focused, he realized he was in an unfamiliar area. The place was dark and didn't seem to be very welcoming. He could smell something being made, but it was an unfamiliar scent. He suddenly heard heavy footsteps that seemed to get louder with every step.

Fear bubbled up inside of him. Was he going to get hurt?

A tall figure then entered the room, holding a small tray. It was hard enough to see his face with the dark room, but he seemed to be wearing a face mask that really only made his eyes visible. He walked closer to the boy and laid the tray on the table in front of him.

Dick looked at it then looked back at the tall man. Was it safe to consume whatever it was that he brought?

"Drink." the man ordered in a deep, but some what soothing voice.

The young boy hesitated before grabbing the tea. He carefully sipped it. The drink burned his tongue for a quick second, but he quickly found the warm taste ease his mind and headache. He figured that he would need to drink it slowly until it cooled down enough to drink quickly. The flavor was different than what he was used to, but he didn't hate it.

"Do you like it?" the mysterious man asked.

Dick nodded and swallowed the tea in his mouth. "I do."

The man nodded and knelt down in front of his at his level. "What is your name, young one?"

"Dick Grayson."

"What were you doing in the city by yourself, Dick Grayson?"

"My parents died, and I don't wanna go to the orphanage."

"That is unfortunate. I am sorry for your loss."

"What's your name?" Dick decided to ask, looking at the man with wide and teary eyes.

"That isn't important at the moment, but I assure you the time will come," the man assured, "First, I want to know more about you."

Dick tilted his head in confusion. "Why can't I know your name? You know mine."

"Because if I change my mind about you and you knew who I was, I'd have to kill you," he said threateningly, "So I'll only ask you this one more time, tell me about yourself."

Shivers ran down Dick's spine as he nodded. "What do you wanna know, mister?"

"Who were you before your parents perished?"

"I was the Boy Wonder for the Flying Graysons."

The man thought for a moment and nodded. "I think I've heard of you before. You are an acrobat, correct?"

"I was."

"You are a very talented young man."

Dick's face lit up. "Thank you!"

"I can sense that you have great potential." he complimented, "You are amazing as an acrobat, but I believe, with my help, you can become something much greater."

"Something greater? Like what?"

"Some one who can turn a city around. A leader." he encouraged, "A hero."

"You really think I can be a hero?"

"Oh, very much so." he grinned through his mask, "I can take you to my home, so you don't have to go to that orphanage, and train you to be someone no one will ever forget."

Dick nodded quickly. "I promise I'll be the best boy for you!"

"I know you will. But first, you'll need a new hero name. So tell me," he asked, "What is your name?"

"Uh..." Dick thought, remembering what his mom used to call him. "Robin?"

"Robin?" he thought and nodded with approval, "Alright, Robin." He offered him to shake his hand.

He looked at it then grabbed his hand.

He shook his hand and looked at him with slyness filling his mind. "You can call me Slade."

Chapter Two

coming right up bestie. so in this au we have young justice never becoming the titans and becoming like. an older young justice. theyre still debating over the name over pizza and video games and theyre getting nowhere. theyre college aged but yet theyre still young justice. they feel like its better than being stuck called teen titans.

at this point in time, the super sons are like pre-teens. they are like in earth 11 on teen justice. because i loved the teen justice series. but we're not talking abt them.

so this is a mix between new 52 and pre-flashpoint in which i pretend the world goes on while n52 never happened but i still introduce elements from n52 to my liking.

while young justice is taking up college, vic, gar and kory still want to lead a new teen titans team (don't ask me about the timeline its screwed). so who are the lucky new members?

Conner Kent/Kon-el aus

Heres two of my aus that i love very much. i tried to put some warnings in there for anyone who doesnt want to read the specific au.

Overall title: Kon Lok-Ghul

 Overall themes and triggers: League but mainly Superman bashing, child neglect in the beginning, self-harm thoughts and alike. Lotsa kryptonian mythos, legends and religion that I made up myself

 Main characters: Kon-El/Conner Kent, Lar-Ghul, Adra Wann-ke, Lok-Ghul.

 Ocs: Lar-Ghul the kryptonian god of the moon, also known as the banished god. Extremely powerful magic user and is the reason kryptonians biggest weakness is magic. Adra Wann-Ke goddess of the sun. Kryptonian goddess of the sun and is the reason they gain energy from the sun and alike. Lok-Ghul, the first and original Nightwing, son of Lar and Adra. Banished to and died in the phantom zone.

 Story, shortened in some cases:  After Lar-Ghul cuts his connection to krypton after the banishment of Lok-Ghul, canon continues as normal. He took all his followers with him to a side dimension of his own creation.

 Everything follows canon until Conner is introduced, this follows more like young justice. But unlike canon where Conner gets introduced to the world and whatnot, this Conner is just kinda left on his own. The league doesn’t trust him at all and are ready if he turns on them, not knowing or caring that Conner can hear them planning his death and whatnot.

 Clark is pretty cruel to Conner in this au, mainly by ignoring him and insulting him, not even referring to him as a living breathing person. Even members who don’t fear Conner ignore his existence, and the titans are ordered to stay away from him. Conner doesn’t even have a name In this au and go by Superboy, since it’s the only name he’s ever been given.

Adra and Lar being gods of krypton have an eye on all living kryptonians and see Conners situation. Lar takes him away from earth and bring him to his side dimension, where Lar and later Adra adopt him.

During the destruction of krypton, Adra took the few loyal followers she still had and brought them to her own side dimenson. The moon and sun faction have been at war for as long as they have existed, but Conner takes the place that Lok-Ghul had in the past, as their “chosen one”. Him simply being there puts the factions at ease.

Lar gifts him magic and Adra gifts him the kryptonian abilities, like flight and lazer eyes and whatnot. He also becomes a lot more resistant to kryptonite since he now has the blood of gods. Time passes differently in the side dimensions so Conner, who now goes by Kon Lok-Ghul, becomes an adult.

   Overall title: Red Krypton, Yellow Krypton, Orange Krypton

 Overall themes and triggers: Major League and titans bashing, child abuse? child neglect, self-mutilation, self-harm, gore and torture, mass genocide. Things like that. Much hurt, little comfort.

 Main characters: Conner kent/Kon-El who goes by Con in this au. Dex-Star plays a smaller role but is there.

 Ocs: None.

 Story, shortened in some cases: After conner is brought into the outside world, the league and titans lock him away in mount justice and ignore his existence. They are convinced he’s evil or a mistake. He has no food or water, and only survives on the little bit of sunlight that gets into his room.

Even after all this Conner, who’s not been named and goes by Superboy still, believes that the league and titans will just need time to get used to him, and that maybe Clark will take him in or teach him about his abilities.

As Conner lays starving in his room, splayed out in the little patch of sunlight, he develops his abilities, like hearing and sense of smell and alike, and he listens to the league and titans and whatnot. He listens to them speak horribly about him and insult him, it makes his heart ache to even hear the titans talk about him this way when they’re supposed to be teammates.

It continues like this for a while, until Kara and Jon are introduced. He listens to them and the rest of the world talk about superman finally getting a sidekick and whatnot and it finally breaks Conner, cuz his last ray of hope was being Supermans anything.

He despises looking like Superman, and goes as far as to start scratching and ripping at his own face, using so much force he rips through the kryptonian flesh. He’s so angry and scared, it feels like it is suffocating him. He screams and cries and yells, cursing the league, the titans, and the world.

That’s when two rings smash through his window, one is yellow and another is red, and one goes on either of his hands. The red and yellow combines and summons an orange suit. By smashing the window, the sun comes inside more, and Conner starts healing immediately when it hits him, his healing having gotten stronger too over all this time.

He feels full of anger and fear and leaves the planet, smashing the wall as he goes. He uses the rings to create a mask that covers his face and most of his head. He feels so full of rage and fear that he releases it on other lanterns that cross his path. When Green lanterns start to try and capture or get rid of him, he vows to kill all of them, resulting in him killing thousands of other lanterns as his kryptonian abilities grow.

He choses the name Con, short for Consequence, as he is the consequence of the league’s actions. His eyes are always glowing red ready to use his lasers but also because he’s overflowing with rage.

On his travels he meets Dex-Star. They become allies, as Con loves animals and Dex-star can get his help in his revenge and because he secretly loves pets. Con will regularly hold Dex-star and pet him.

At some point Con will return to earth and wreak havoc, having grown stronger than ever before. Here he uses his dual wielding rings to almost defeat Superman by crushing him, and kills Kara by using his lasers, think how Superman kills Shazam in injustice. He is only stopped by Hal, who has known of Con, also dubbed Red, yellow or orange krypton depending on who you ask.

Con makes some speech about him being their consequence and their fault before leaving the planet again, having asserted his place. Its first then that they check on mount justice, where it’s been months or years since they’ve heard from Conner, having forgotten about him. They find the destroyed room and old blood stains, and it hits them they have created a monster.
