This is for a sort of Size Comparison pic I was working on at the time. Well during the time I was off work I decided to colour it in and put these too In some kind of Jungle setting?

[On the contour drawing] TBH, I gave up after

I drew her upper body too big,

I drew her face & hands too wrong,

+ Face itself looks good, but not too much like the original reference.

I realized I was struggle more w/ the head & hands than w/ the rest of the body.

SELF CRITIQUES:

+ 1/4ths blind contour: you capture the facial features pretty accurately; pretty good observational skills there

- the position of each feature needs work

Practice drawing faces more (croquis)

Re-develop drawing hands (croquis & simple structure)

**Subpoint to 1&2: Sketch guidelines in pencil/erasable lead 1st

*Additional approach: observational learning & cartooning/simplification (boxes)/triangles

What stationary should I use?

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Friday! Here are some of my notes and a selection of the pens that help produce them! I own over 100 different pens, pencils and highlighters and these are always on my rotation 🤍

My personal favorites are Kaco green pens purely for the shade range they have with stabilo and zebra a very close second 💭

Hiiii....I drew Lincoln as a pony...his name is Dusty Roads and he's a Zorse(zebra/horse hybrid) mixed with unicorn.

Idk why i drew him with semi-realistic features but I think it looks decent.

He's not black and white like regular zebras, he's more earthy tones like green and brown. He's a blank flank too, never finding his "special talent".

Instead of the bullet wound scar on his forehead, it's a magic bolt scar that miraculously missed his horn.

Weekly spread for January week 1

It's a very simple spread no bougie stuff just daily todo lists and these spreads work the best for me. I'm overwhelmed enough with keeping my bujo updated I can't do all the unnecessary stuff just to keep up with all the "well being journaling" stuff. In a way these simple spreads are my way of maintains my well@being through journaling. Anyway it's exam season, lots of stuff to do and little to no motivation.
