Danny and Ellie keep summoning ancient demonic beings.

It started as a joke. Just them doing silly trends and summoning the most recent cyrtid. Moth man and what. They didn’t expect it to work. But they did.

So they moved on to the less. “Nice” beings.

Really after the 10th entity they should of stopped. But they were fun to fight and well… Honestly when they went to summon these things it shouldn’t of worked. They never did the circles and certainly didn’t sacrifice anyone.

They wanted to see what all they could summon.

Constantine is now stuck on a case with the bat. To find out which cult is summoning countless enemies. He unfortunately can’t track it by magic.

There is no circles or anything left in the air. These things just pop up and ever magic user can feel this world ending threat. Then poof. Just gone.

The cult may be dealing with the entities? Whether making deals or just sending them it was a problem.

How long until it was something the cult couldn’t handle and how many more would be sacrificed?

Unknown to all parties. Halfas apparently read as sacrifices, the entities can’t tell the sacrifice is half alive. They only feel the dead part.

So, to clarify... you hate Kagami's hair?

Its just immensely hard to draw

It's not just a bob cut there are random chunks that make it so ????? Like the shape of everything changes

It can be perfectly round when you look up at her then a square from a lower angle where the entire mass seemingly changes too like this hair could not exist in reality

I could simplify it to only having it be a round glob but it just dont feel right to me bc it really ain't that simple with those random chunks from her sides which are not symmetrical btw being a key part of her look to me and-

Random Berserk thought #1:

When people say Casca was never in love with Griffith, she just admired him, I get confused. Because as far as I can tell that comes from reading this page:

as “I lied when I said I was in love with him and I wish I could make my heart love him like I want it to,” rather than “I lied when I said I wasn’t in love with him (and instead wanted to be his sword) and i wish I could make my heart not love him the way I want it to (stop doing).”

THAT isn’t confusing. I understand that because I also read it that way at first, but... okay two things.

FIRST - the second interpretation doesn’t actually make sense with the context of what she’s saying/her previous statements right?

If she’s saying she didn’t really love him, then why would she say she was lying? Because if you look back to what she said back there...

...she didn’t claim to be in love with him, she claimed to want to be indispensable to his dream/become the sword he used to carve out his path. So if that was a lie what is it she’s saying she wanted to be instead? Well...

She goes on to explain that she understood that he would end up marrying Charlotte and she thought she could deal with not being “a woman” to him so it’s fair to say she’s saying she was lying when she said being his sword was what she really wanted - because what she really wanted was to be with him as a woman. To be his lover. But she was trying to tell everyone (perhaps even herself) that what she wanted was to be his indispensable soldier.

And here she is again stating that her pain about Griffith originates in her inability to be either “a woman” (his, that is to say) or invaluable to him.

And then...

....the next chapter opens with her restating that she had unrequited feelings for Griffith that she had intended to just live with in order to avoid being dishonest. And also...

Let’s go back to the original cave scene...

She specifically contrasts how she felt "back then” (idolizing Griffith and seeing him as a holy figure) with how she feels now.

The change started when she saw his grief over the fallen child soldier. At which point she realized that...

“Griffith’s not a god, and I am a woman.”

She’s saying “at one point I did want to be his sword, but then I realized he’s a (hu)man and I’m a woman.” Thus she fell for him.

And the idea that she fell in love with Griffith because she realized he grieves and has weaknesses makes sense because that would be when she realized he isnt a god and has emotional needs (that maybe she felt like she could fulfill). Which echoes...

...the reason she ultimately decides to commit to being with Guts: because after he (not unlike Griffith lol) both saved her and had an emotional breakdown in front of her, she thinks maybe she can give him strength instead of just drawing strength from him the way she ended up doing with Griffith (despite her best intentions and attempts to be his support system) 

She also says she feels like having sex with Guts will make it seem like her feelings for Griffith from before - ”everything (she) felt so desperately” - weren’t real, which makes no sense if she’s already said her feelings for Griffith from before weren’t real.

In short, what i get from this is basically:

“Once I saw him as a miracle and godlike figure, and at that time I was primarily interested in being his sword and helping him achieve his goals. Then I saw his emotional breakdowns and I started seeing him differently. I came to see that he wasn’t a god - he has emotional needs that I may be able to help him fulfill. That realization led to me falling in love with him. But I knew he wouldn’t choose to be with me (because Guts is the one he loves and Charlotte is the one he needs) but I chose to avoid dishonesty by accepting that I would sacrifice myself to my unrequited feelings. And then I realized there was nothing I could do for him, which made me finally let go.”

...and all of that is fine and true, but the much easier to explain, shorter, and simpler reason the interpretation from the beginning of this post (that she was never in love with him, only ever admired him) makes no sense is...

Second, for the sake of argument assume she was indeed saying that she was lying about being in love with him because she really just admires him.

....it still means she was in love with him at one point! Because she says she used to mean it at one point!

So like, if she’s saying she was lying when she said she loved him (even though that’s not what she said), then she still used to be in love with him because she says outright that she used to mean [the thing she was lying about] but things changed.

And if she’s saying (as she IMO clearly is once you break it down) that she was lying when she said she DIDN’T love him but rather wanted to be his sword... then that means she does love him!

Long-Story-Slightly-Less-Long, Casca was definitely in love with Griffith at some point. You can debate whether she was still in love with Griffith the time she got with Guts (kinda. But she was.), but you can’t really justify claiming she NEVER was.

geto mumbles at your side as you weave with him through the crowds of his colleagues in their finest dress. indeed, you were in yours at this, your company’s annual gala.

“c’mon, you know I don’t like them either but we’ve gotta be here.”

he grunts in understanding but still disapproval. despite his clear distaste for these events, he never passes up the opportunity to don his finest party-wear nor can he resist buying you a new dress for it every time.

you make your obligatory rounds and extend pleasantries where needed, but soon enough the greetings and small talk fell into a lull, and geto was able to pull you to one side.

“let’s get a drink.”

you oblige gladly, feeling parched and very much in need of a pick-me-up. he leads you to the long table where glass upon glass of champagne are sitting, freshly poured and waiting to be drunk. he scoops up two glasses, but instead of handing you yours, he turns and nods his head in the direction of the patio doors.

“this way.”

you follow him with blind trust that this wasn’t going to be a distasteful escapade, not knowing for certain that your trust was well-founded. you step out into the cool evening air where the sound of the gala fades into the background. geto leads you to the lawn of the stately home, and sets down the glasses on a small table at its edge.

“dance with me? make all that small-talk worth it?”

with great pleasure you agree, and he pulls you into a slow waltz; his hand resting gently on your waist, the other softly holding your hand slightly aloft.

“you look beautiful,” he whispers. instinctively your eyebrows raise.

“wow, and that’s not even the drink talking!”

there’s a slight growl that escapes his throat, but he isn’t annoyed. quite the opposite; he likes your teasing of him.

“I can get the drink talking, if you want?”

you huff a laugh, and rest your head in the crook of his neck as you both sway gently in the light of the party.

“maybe later,” you reply, “for now just stay like this.”

I like that while reader is powerful, they’re not overpowered. Is it difficult to kill them? Yeah. Can they still be killed if you know their weakness (which they have several)? Absolutely. I like that they have cons to each of their abilities and their strongest ones require them to really focus, which is hard to do when you’re actively being attacked

thank you!! i’ll have to find it again, but i did make a post a while back detailing their abilities and the cons to each one, which makes them much more susceptible to being killed or severely harmed. even with Lunatic on their side, they wouldn’t be invulnerable; merely difficult to take down if you didn’t know their weaknesses or let them fool you into allowing them close-range

From where I’m sitting, his existence did nothing but make the Batfamily worse. So convince me otherwise.
