Hi cal!! I need some advice since I see you as that cool mom I see often on the dash LOL,, I’ve written ALOT of self indulgent fics but haven’t posted them anywhere, I want to but I have a massive fear of my works getting stolen especially since I don’t even have an account for posting yet (;__;) my blog here is to just reblog other writers posts and i don’t have any moots or followers in my blog except spam bots.. should I start interacting more with people then post my fics ?? Idk tho I have social anxiety eughh but anyways your advice would mean so much to me!! Thank u sm in advance cal !! <33

i think that if you feel like you want to make friends before you post, you absolutely should, but i don't think it's super necessary! sharing your fics with the internet can be something that you just do for yourself (ie; posting while not thinking about interaction and stuff like that)! that being said, interaction with your work can feel really good and validating, especially when it comes from people you consider friends!

honestly though, i don't think making friends on here is a requirement at all in order to post your work! just do whatever feels right to you and the rest will follow!

good luck with posting your writing if you decide too and i hope that it all goes well <33 i would love love love to see it if you do!

. . . SAVE A HORSE, GO ON A RIDE WITH THE COWBOY! featuring boothill!

notes! . . . y'know the phrase, “save a horse, ride the cowboy”? well, I decided to-do something about it with boothill... except it's sfw and more like “save a horse, ride with the cowboy” cuz i dont do nsfw here >:/. god give me acceptance for how boothill is so ooc here- 😭😭 idnk how to write his character properly, and does he even have a horse?? I don't remember seeing a horse when his character and banner got leaked, so let's just pretend he does have one for the sake of K'hailreigh for this plot. 💀

imagine returning the horse boothill had been searching for all day after it got the chance to escape through the tall fences the moment they were opened, his eyes widen at the sight of his companion with you guiding alongside it. normally, his horse wouldn't follow after someone else's orders other than him... and it behaves pretty feisty and rough with people who isn't him.

boothill is relieved to see that his trusty horse hadn't been injured, briefly thanking you as he goes over to fuss over his stallion. you can't help your gaze wandering and examining his figure, in awe of the metallic and cyborg parts of the cowboy in front of you. sure you might've seen people having artificial and metal parts attached to them, but this man right here just plainly looks like a robot if it weren't for his humanly head.

boothill notices you eyeing every inch of him, glancing from the lasso that hangs at his hips to the pistols to his arms and to his legs. he glares a wolfishly smile at you, baring the shark-like teeth that you gaze in short surprise at, and asks in a teasingly tone, “like what you see, darlin'?”, observing how you blink owlishly at him. but then, he's becomes sort of surprised when you nod your head and confirm that—yes, you like his appearance and how the color scheme matches altogether, while indirectly  commenting how he's a good-looking cowboy.

boothill, after his turn of blinking at you, grins and narrows his eyes with an intrigued look in them; amused by you and how you don't seem in the slightest.. nervous or terrified in his presence. you perked the cyborg's interest.

finishing the small talk with the man, you mention that you'll be needing to go somewhere for an errand and boothill takes the opportunity to offer a ride there on his horse—as a thanks for retrieving his horse, taking in your surprised expression with a grin as he ends the sentence with a “darlin'”. he insists, even if you refuse, so you decide that it'll be quicker to go in a horse ride with the cowboy than rather walking by foot as you were given no other choice.

with boothill's assistance, you were boosted onto the horse and instructed by him to hold on as he looks back at you, flashing a toothy grin and a finger tilting his hat just slightly for a short moment before you and him rode off towards where you were needed to be at with his horse. startled by the increasing speed his horse was going, you instinctively grasp onto the cyborg cowboy's built body in order to not fall off during the ride accidentally—boothill grins at your expression, his laughter going with the wind, “better hol' on tight for now, sweetheart. this'll be a rough ride! i'll get ya to where yer headin' in no time!”

"Falling To You"

Uzi hadn't known what to expect when she had jumped into the pit at the heart of the old cathedral.

Maybe to fall for hours before being dashed to pieces in jagged darkness.

Tumbling out into the midst of outer space was the last thing on her mind.

Floating in stardust, a planet in fiery death throes before her, she wondered if any of this was real. It was nothing like what she'd heard of in school (though now she wished she'd paid more attention.) For one thing, she could breathe. She could still hear her heart thrumming away inside her. Wasn't space supposed to be an airless eternity where no one could hear you scream? To test her theory, Uzi shouted an expletive at the top of her voice, a word that would have made her dad blue-screen on the spot if he'd heard her. The sound echoed into the void, slowly fading away. Well then, not outer space as she knew it. Another cruel illusion of the Solver? She didn't have time to think about it, because another scream cut the silence. Some distance away, there was a burst of light, like a door opening and closing quickly.

And then N was there, spinning head over feet and struggling to steady himself. He was clutching a red canister to his chest as though life depended on it.

"N?!" His gaze locked on her at once, relief washing away the fear and confusion on his face. "Uzi!" "What are you doing here?" she demanded. "The whole point of this was so you could escape! Her words carried an edge of anger, but they didn't cut. She was too happy to see him.

She'd thought she would never see him again.

Wrestling with the canister in his arms, N answered, "I don't want to escape! I want you!" Finally she recognized what the object was: a fire extinguisher. He pulled the trigger and used the ensuing burst as a makeshift jet, extending his wings to help with power and direction, guiding himself towards her. The madness of the last few days crashed into her, releasing a peal of near-crazed giggling. "What are you even doing?" "I saw it in a movie once!" Uzi swiped her hands over her visor, hoping to hide the tears that had begun to glow in her eyes. "You were supposed to get away! You were supposed to be safe!" Gliding ever closer, N cried out, "I'm not losing you!" Uzi tried to kick and propel herself forward, as though she were swimming, but only managed to throw herself into a dizzying spiral.

The universe stopped whirling as soon as N got near enough to scoop her into his arms.

All of the barriers shielding her heart crumbled. She wrapped herself around him and began scattering kisses and heartfelt insults all over his face.

"You are so stupid!" (kiss) "So, so stupid!" (kiss) "Why?" (kiss) "Why did you do this?"

Tightening his embrace, making no effort to hide his own smile or tears, N said softly, "We made a promise, remember? No matter what, we would stick together." Uzi rested her forehead against his, letting her hands drift through his hair and over his shoulders to assure herself that he was real. Her question came out as a tired whisper. "What will happen now?" "It doesn't matter," N said, running his thumb along the edge of her cheek. "Whatever it is, we'll take it on...you and me."

HOW TO FIND A PLOT WHEN ALL YOU HAVE IS CHARACTERS AND A SETTING (and has built in character development!)

YAY you have a world. Great! Now write down what happens on a normally- what are your character's daily routine. And my favorite part, why is that their routine. What makes them choose that? Are they constantly doing new thing cause they're afraid to be by themselves? Are they constantly by themselves because they are afraid of rejection? What would take this comfort zone and burn it to the ground. Create a list of ideas and pick your favorite.

Create a list of each character's goals and motivation, I'll be making a post on how to find that soon btw. Can the plot be based of these goals?

Pick THE MOST IMPORTANT goals.

Find the characters with different goals. YAY conflict!

You have to know your characters fears for this part. Not like heights like no one will ever love me if I'm not always perfect.

How do they think they can get their goal without doing the thing that makes them afraid:

6. Then use the situation in point 1 to create the environment that kick starts it. Use the goals and motivations to show why they do actions and boom!

so, uh, @origamihoshi introduced me to an interactive fiction game that is very much up my alley so, here is my trash gremlin that is just trying to survive after what happened with it's friends it's a bit of a menace (oh? you think I'm creepy? alright, I'll play it up then!) who alternates between provoking people and just doing whatever it wants without a word. it may not be the brightest, but it makes up for that with how quick it is to take action. ...or, at least it thinks it does.

Ori also said I should, uh, ping the blog for the game, so, um I'm just gonna @drinkyourvillainjuice and then hide for, like, ever, haha

Gosh, i love this woman a lot, AND BABY PRICE, i actually went with playing with military uniform/gear designs, and decided that his is modified (by himself with the permission of Galeforce).

Still, next ones should be Dave and Jhonny and Henry/or Charles. Also idk if it would be better to make a side blog for this, debating it(and yeah if you got asks abt their designs and some lore, feel free to ask :D)
