forum city, époque actuelle ༄ Il y a dans l'air une odeur spéciale, un parfum fleuri de vacances paradisiaques en plein cœur de la côte est. L'exotisme des palmiers s'entremêle à la grandeur des buildings, le bruit de la ville se mélange aux vagues qui s'entrechoquent contre les rochers. Les teintes colorées des planches de surf se perdent dans l'eau bleutée. Les rayons omniprésents du soleil se reflètent sur les façades des gratte-ciels. Le temps ne s'arrête jamais, pas même dès que la lune apparaît. Dans la nuit, les lumières et la pénombre se mélangent pour former la beauté de cette ville où les espérances peuvent devenir réalité ou être emportées par la marée. Parfois, le bleu de l'océan se transforme, comme une menace lointaine que l'orage peut approcher, que tout peut changer. Dans la ville magique, les âmes aussi ont des couleurs différentes. Les esquisses de sourires sur les visages n'ont jamais la même saveur, les accélérations du cœur dans la cage thoracique, les lueurs dans le regard ont toutes une raison spéciale. Une raison unique. Car tout est unique ici. Tout est unique à Miami.

hmmm I love all of my fics bc I really put love into them : a crown of ink makes me learn more and more about tarot, silver cherry made me construct some good lore n stuff bout vampires, a drop in the ocean made me learn more bout pirates, and blue nedys black carmethys brought me comfort

in every fic I write I find something conforting and I kinda put a piece of myself in them sooo

getting older can be so amazing? you get more familiar with yourself. learn tips & tricks for troubleshooting your own brain. trial & error helps you build routines that minimize discomfort, maximize reward. your preferences/interests don't get set in stone, but you do find out which ones are going to stay with you in the long-term, and which ones are fun but transient joys to appreciate in the moment.

you learn that the world is so much more complex than you were taught, and that that's okay, and that there's an endless supply of things you can learn or watch or experience or think about if you want to. if you're lucky, you loosen up, stop putting so much pressure on yourself. if you're lucky, you learn to recognize that negative inner voice, and whack it with a baseball bat until it hushes up. if you're lucky, you learn to treat yourself gently, not because you are fragile but because you are worthy of gentleness. (i hope you are lucky.)

and some things will change. some things will get better. some things will get good. and maybe you start to recover from the dehumanizing stress of childhood/education. maybe you learn the power of your own autonomy. maybe you learn how to walk away from bad situations (which is a superpower even if you don't realize it yet). and you get to choose your own clothes. and your own food. and which relationships to pursue! and what you do with your free time. and with your life (but don't worry you get to choose that gradually). and that's crazy! and sometimes scary. and extraordinarily, indescribably precious.

Stuck on themyscria

Danny after finishing a gruelling mission for clockwork, gets stranded in the dc universe on themyscria, somehow unable to leave... he thinks its OK at first, he can treat it like a small vacation! there's a nice beach, fruit trees, he can go fishing and strangely he doesn't feel weak from the lack of ectoplasm in this worlds air.

However after a few brief encounters Danny decides to be extremly petty towards the Amazon's and pull pranks on them.

The Amazon's who have decided to kill him for being a man on the island (it doesn't help his case that he forgot aunty Pandora's teachings and what offering apples to women meant)

The Amazonians meanwhile can sense Danny's power and think if he's not mortal then he's probably Zeus or one of the other 'horny' gods in disguise.

(No turning into a goose here Zeus!)

Meanwhile Clockwork is confused, danny should have been back days ago but he can't find him anywhere... why is Pandora in his tower? Why is she grinning?
