okay i've been seeing more and more people, especially fic writers and fan artists, leaving social media because of the way they're being treated and it's becoming worrying.
fandom creators are not celebrities (not that you should treat celebrities horribly either but y'know what i mean.) most of the time they're teenagers or young adults just making some art in their room at 3am about a thing they like.
you have no right to make demands or offer unsolicited criticism. no right. it's the equivalent of banging on your neighbor's door to let them know you don't like how they've decorated their garden. it's their garden. you can look at it. you can like or dislike it. and then you move along. you're not allowed to demand that they change it.
and when people share things about their personal life online that is not an invitation for you to invade their privacy or converse with complete strangers like they're your childhood besties.
respect people's boundaries. ask for permission before offering your opinion. just be fucking nice to people please.

HEY MAN!! Just wanted to let you know I’m pretty sure that comic Noir isn’t actually a teen in his comics!! He’s like 25 at the very least in his most recent comic-
It’s true that time does pass in the noir comics but I stick to my own gospel (his 2009 & 2010 run) where he is def implied to be under 18. I made a whole post about it here
When I’m talking abt comic noir 99.9999% of the time that’s the creature I’m referencing

thinking about friendship and community as concepts vs reality thinking abt how I have less friends now than I did last year but I'm way more social and open with people now and I'm also more inclined to ask ppl around me for help with certain things and repaying them i.e. someone asks me to help clean up their new apartment and in exchange I get to keep whatever junk I like that I found in the process or someone cuts/styles my hair and I bake them sth etc. and it's weird bc I don't consider these people friends yet if I describe my relationship with them it ends up sounding way too transactional and impersonal than it actually is. and I sometimes also feel bad that I'm "using" ppl while not thinking of them as friends or wanting to deepen our bonds but I also know that im NOT using them? I think? im just finding myself in a strange place bc of my dynamic w ppl around me lately

That is wonderful news, a rare W from Genshin.
Now I need him to die. That's all that's left.

Okay, hang on, we're streamlining this -- for everyone who has expressed interest re: Pentiment, here's a poll for evenings this and next weekend so I can get a better idea of when the most people are available:

Joined a Music League at work, where each week you anonymously pick a song for a playlist with a theme.
I've never been one to miss a chance to inflict my music tastes on other people.
Started things off nice and easy with a simple Machine Head cover of an Iron Maiden song, only 8 minutes long it's fine.
Next week however, I'm toying with a 10 minute Dream Theater song, or maybe an Aphex Twin track (the theme is music released the year you were born, 92 for me).....
Just today I found out about the artist KMRU, so I am absolutely forcing my co-workers to listen to one of his 20-minute ambient tracks constructed out of field recordings of Nairobi.
