Current Accepted Storyline

Wemmbob and the whole group (Wemmbob, Jatrickwho, Plankchan, Pangi, Squandy, Evboward, and Pottytheparrotx2) lived playful lives. They were banned from LSTRN tournaments because of the ominous messages sent before their creations. Detectives banded together to find out the identities of these anonymous accounts. This made the Wemmbobers afraid of the frauders (LSTRN's notable fanbase members).

Slowly, the Wemmbobers began to be overtaken by a purple goop (?), that we call the Corruption, which the Wemmbobers are scared of. The Corruption seems to know more. Thus began the ARG. Wemmbobers accounts were filled with puzzles and ciphers, with the detectives following up, while dealing with knowing there were one or more infiltrators within the Discord, watching them solve the puzzles. We'll come back to the idea of the Infiltration, so keep that in mind. Anyways, it seems the Corruption has motives against the wishes of the Wemmbobers, and has trapped them in a backrooms type jail, however they can still post. The Wemmbobers are pretty much in their own purgatory.

A new account showed up recently: the Infiltration. Speaking entirely in codes most of the time, it seems to be an agent of the Corruption and a man-on-the-inside of sorts, spying on the detectives. Wemmbobers have not commented on the existence of the Infiltration very much.

One of the detectives, Melty, began to flirt with the Infiltration. Eventually, the Infiltration warmed up to Melty and they have a complicated romantic relationship. They speak together in codes and are a fan favorite. Melty left the side of the detectives to join Infiltration (also just called Inf).

discord servers replacing forums and similar niche communities primarily sucks for being a black hole of information but a close second is that it discourages lurking. maybe i want to anonymously observe a community to see what people are like and if i would fit in before i start interacting! maybe i don't want to immediately jump in to a spammed chorus of animated greeting stickers on an account tied to several other elements of my online identity! let me lurk!!!

Remember "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ? I feel like there's been a distancing from the "reduce" and "reuse" part and a favoritism towards "recycle" by corporate American.

Capitalism can still thrive with recycling in the mix. You buy Plastic Thing 1, throw it away after one use, and they take that and recycle it into Plastic Thing 2 and sell it back to you. All while continuing to harm the environment.

Reusing puts a damper on things. They can't sell you Plastic Thing 2 when you're still using Plastic Thing 1. Plastic forks, for example- there is literally no reason why you can't reuse plastic forks more than once (aside from maybe microplastics, but it's too late for that)

Reducing is the one everyone wants to ignore. Just don't buy Plastic Thing 1. You don't need Plastic Thing 1. Pick up a set of metal forks and use those for years. Convenience is killing the planet
