So, Sinister Sons, right?
DC just throws that on the tail end of Green Lantern #4 solicit like it's nothing big that Peter Tomasi is returning from his hiatus to pen a (presumably) in-continuity story involving a new character named "Sinson," who probably is this little guy on the Lafuente variant.

Obviously, my first thought is that this must be a Super Sons project based on the talent behind the story and the fact that it's in the back of Jeremy Adams' new comic after he himself teased Jon and Damian returning to some kind of Rebirth norm in The Flash #797, but how so can't be determined by this solicit alone. Based on the huge widow's peak, I assume this kid is related to Sinestro. Then my mind began to drift back to the title: Sinister Sons. I've come to two potentialities.
First, perhaps this is continuing the story from The Flash #797, where the group of multiversal villains attempts an act of future revenge against the seven or eight heroes who thwarted them earlier from their perspective. I've taken this grouping of the five (Jai, Irie, Maxine, Jon, and Damian) plus whoever else may join them to get to seven (or eight) to be the Legacy League promised on the Flashpoint Beyond chalkboard. Going from there, the Sinister Sons may be their Legion of Doom. Sinson joined by characters like Heretic and Lor-Zod plus a few others to be a thorn in the side of the League.

Second, going off of the two issues following that one, perhaps "Sinister Sons" is whatever collection of time-displaced younglings Granny Goodness as been collecting. If Sinson is the secret son of Sinestro, similar to Soranik Natu in Tomasi's earlier work Green Lantern Corps, maybe Granny also has a version of Jon Kent that ran away from Jor-El while they were in space that's different than the one he found on Earth-3. That would be fairly small potatoes compared to getting Robbie Long, Cerdian, and Mr. Terrific's unborn child out from the fabric of time.

This is assuming my previous theory of two versions of Jon Kent from alternate, similar timelines coexisting after the events of Superman Reborn is a correct interpretation of the lore presented to us since Bendis left. That's also assuming these tweet updates from Tom Taylor are hinting at Sinister Sons, a book he isn't writing. Pretty big leap, I know. But MAYBE this is Peter Tomasi returning to writing Dick and Damian as they join forces with Jon Kent, age 17, to stop Granny Goodness and her army of misplaced progeny and rescue Jon Kent, age 12. Or maybe Jon (17) is going to find Jon (12) at the end of Adventures of Superman Jon Kent #6 in the Phantom Zone, having narrowly escaping Granny's clutches. Look, I don't know. I just want a Jon similar to who and how he was during Rebirth back.

WolfTok
Sterek || E|| Booktoker AU || 2518 wc (2/3)
Stiles is shocked to discover that Derek moonlights as a Booktoker. What he finds even more shocking is the discovery that Derek uses it to promote his smutty books it writes under a pseudonym.
Yeah, we’re just going to continue to pretend that TikTok was a thing during Teen Wolf time. Don’t think too hard about this.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Ch 2
A little over a week later, most of the pack was gathered to discuss their latest problem: a siren lurking in the river that ran through Beacon Hills. It had already kidnapped a few people, and they needed to figure out how to stop it before more went missing. Nearly everyone was talking over one another, tossing out theories and plans of action.
Jackson, arms crossed, was adamant that they call Lydia for advice. “She’s the smartest one in the pack. She’ll know what to do,” he said, as if that settled the matter.
“We should at least try talking to the siren,” Scott argued. “Maybe there’s a way to reason with it. Violence isn’t always the answer.”
Rolling her eyes at Scott’s suggestion, Erica shot back. “Yeah, because talking to a creature that lures people to their deaths with magic songs is totally going to work.” Isaac nodded in agreement.
"Killing it does seem like the fastest solution," Boyd grunted outed, throwing a shoulder over his girlfriend’s shoulders in solidarity.
Stiles, seated near the edge of the group, was only half listening. His attention kept wandering over to Derek, who stood quietly in the corner, texting Peter who was over at the location of the latest kidnapping point, supposedly sniffing out a lead.
Once again, he just couldn’t help but have Derek’s “Samuel Blackwolf” voice narrating the scene, imagining Derek’s soft voice turning sensuous and velvety:
Away from the arguing beta wolves, Derek stood apart, the low light of the room casting soft shadows over his impressive physique. His back, broad and muscular, stretched beneath the fabric of his shirt, each movement a fluid testament to the raw strength that lay hidden beneath the surface. The simple gray t-shirt he wore clung to his body, highlighting the powerful lines of his shoulders, the subtle flex of his biceps as he typed on his phone. The shirt strained against the contours of his chest, taut enough to make Stiles’s breath hitch. And those jeans—oh, those jeans. They were tight in all the right places, hugging his thighs, the outline of his strong calves just barely visible beneath the fabric. His posture was casual, but the sheer size and strength of him made it impossible for Stiles to look away. Every inch of Derek seemed designed to command attention, effortlessly exuding the kind of confidence that made the heart race and the pulse quicken.
Stiles shifted in his seat, trying to force his mind back to the meeting, but it was hard when Derek was just so... Derek. Every subtle movement—the flex of his arm as he adjusted his phone, the way his jeans hugged his round ass so nicely, the stretch of his neck as he looked down at his screen—sent a rush of heat through Stiles’s body.
Derek’s soft voice broke through his betas’ rising voices. “Peter found signs of a disturbance near the riverbank—ripples in the water, maybe something moving upstream. He thinks it could be heading toward the woods.”
Before Stiles could even process that, his phone went off loudly, the notification tone echoing in the room. He winced, realizing too late that he had forgotten to silence it after doing homework earlier. Everyone turned to look at him, including Derek, whose thick eyebrows were raised, silently asking if Stiles was going to check that.
Flustered, Stiles fumbled for his phone, hoping and praying that it wasn’t what he thought it was.
It was exactly what he thought it was.
His face burned red as he saw the notification that Derek had just posted a new TikTok.
Stiles blinked at the screen, heart racing. Now? Here? How?
Wait.
Derek had uploaded a TikTok right in the middle of a pack meeting, while everyone was here.
While Stiles was here.
How did Derek find the time to do this? When did he film it? Did he do it just before they showed up? Maybe he’d filmed a bunch a while back and was just getting around to posting now? Was he even texting Peter earlier? His mind raced as he continued to stare at his phone, wondering if Derek had ever filmed any while the pack was around.
As his brain spiraled into a thousand questions, Stiles suddenly felt Derek’s gaze on him, heavier than before.
“Is everything okay?” Derek asked softly.

A Wikizilla short on Godzilla Minus One's Oscar nomination, written and narrated by me and edited by @squid-in-a-party-hat. Turns out this site can't embed YouTube Shorts properly, who knew? Anyways, here's all the kaiju Oscars trivia I wrote for the comments:
King Kong has been much more successful at the Academy Awards than Godzilla. They didn’t have a prize for special effects back in 1933, but the King Kong remakes in 1976 and 2005 both prevailed in that category, while Kong: Skull Island was nominated. ‘76 also received nominations for cinematography and sound, and ‘05 won in sound mixing and sound editing.
During the opening of the 80th Academy Awards (2008), Peter Jackson’s King Kong delivered a flying kick to the TriStar Godzilla’s face.
Brad Pitt revealed that The War of the Gargantuas was the film that made him want to become an actor at the 84th Academy Awards (2012).
Japan has its own Academy Awards, which Shin Godzilla dominated in 2017. Godzilla Minus One may fare even better, having picked up 12 nominations to Shin's 10. Godzilla as an awards darling, who would’ve thought?
The 90th Academy Awards (2018) paid tribute to original Godzilla suit actor Haruo Nakajima in its In Memorium section.
Juliette Binoche (Sandra Brody in Godzilla [2014]) is the only Oscar-winning actor to appear in a Godzilla film. Other Oscar-winning or Oscar-nominated actors with kaiju connections include Nick Adams, Demián Bichir, Jeff Bridges, Adrien Brody, Bryan Cranston, Brian Donlevy, Vera Farmiga, Robert Forster, Naomie Harris, Anne Hathaway, Sally Hawkins, Brian Tyree Henry, Samuel L. Jackson, Richard Jenkins, Rinko Kikuchi, Jessica Lange, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, David Strathairn, Russ Tamblyn, Ken Watanabe, and Naomie Watts.

yeah, I mean, at least a little historical context is helpful, but especially by the time we're in college, like, I should have the right to answer a stupid question with, "because it's Victorian England, Todd." But I can't really say that because of the way we draw boundaries around subjects. It's buckwild to me that people don't understand that the MEDIA a culture of any given time and place is producing is related to the HISTORY it is experiencing. I like to use Mag 7 and the remake for this. What cultural concerns and ideas of identity do you think are going on here*? How do we think this idea has changed over the years? What does it reflect about the actions America is taking and having taken upon it?
I don't have a huge problem with your sort of death of the author and/or tabula rasa type reads--I mean, fuck, that's how I liveblog shit--but I think that some things don't become apparent if you don't have any idea what the fuck is happening in the place you're reading from.
If I'm understanding you correctly, you mean the way like, we only teach American History and not, for example "History 1850-1900"? I don't necessarily disagree with that, though of course it depends on what you're talking about and what needs to be included for that. Also how you decide what to drill it down to. Like I DO think it's important to understand that our successful bid to be a sovereign nation is because the French hated the English so fucking much that they backed our play to the suffering of their own coffers. To clown on England. I mean, maybe it could have happened anyhow, but it sure fucking helped that France was sitting offshore blowing cannonballs to English ships while going, 'hon hon hon, this is so fucking funny' We owe an INSANE debt to France (though it was not actually about us, I maintain) But I don't know, also! I'll have to think about this some more. I mean, you know me, the world was invented in 1776 by Samuel Adams but didn't really do much until 1860.
My big thing, if I were ever a teacher I would just have to stand in front and go, "I do not care if any of these people are good people or bad people. I don't care. I don't care if they did shitty things, I don't care if they did good things, I care about what their ideas and actions did to influence the world. We are not at the pearly gates and you are not Saint Peter. You are not weighing their hearts against a feather. We are going to go into this class thinking every person we talk about is complicated, frustrating, and governed by the morals, social structure, conventions, viewpoints, and history to that point. A bad person can be exceptionally fucking correct. A good person can fuck up incredibly. If you need clear black and white moralities and identities, go pick up a fiction book. WE got that?"
Boy was this more than you cared to hear.
*To my own regret, I am a slut for Brit Lit, but if i could teach any one course for college, it would be "The Western and American Identity" and it would include books and movies and radio plays and history.

"For this plan to work, we will need three things: someone who handles the shipping, someone who handles the numbers... And me.
- You ? What for ?
- Everything else."
In 1922, Adam Czar arrives in America.
By 1938, Adam Czar is one of the heads of the Chicago Outfit, the crime family ruling the city.
But many things happened in between.
Because in 1926, in the raging years of the Prohibition, Adam meets Peter Hetman. And above all, Adam meets Samuel Majewski.
I couldn't keep my mouth shut anymore! Adam will be back. He has more things to tell. I can't wait to unveil more about him, and everyone around him.

A list of books I have read this year. Will reblog everytime I update as I read more. Doing this a a bit of fun and to hopefully motive myself to read a bit more like I used to.
(I would like to state that I do not share/approve of the views or opinions of a certain author on this list. I just enjoy the books and won't let some poor excuse of a human being ruin them for me.)
