Adrian: Hello, Uncle Jaune. I'm home.

Jaune: As much as I want to say I'm not your uncle, I am. But this is no longer your home.

Adrian: Oh, right. You have a new favorite student. So where is this silver-eyed warrior you've been training?

Jaune: Where they are is none of your business. Leave. Now.

Adrian: So, that's how it's going to be?

Jaune: That's how it has to be.

Adrian: ...

Jaune: ...

With a mighty roar, Adrian charges forward, swinging his blade wide. Jaune caught the blade with his shield, but wasn't prepared for Adrian's foot smashing into his abdomen. As he reeled, Adrian stabbed, sliced, and bashed with blade and pommel, forcing Jaune to dodge, block, and parry as best he could. Soon Jaune was caught in Adrian's grip and thrown through the wall in the house he once called home. Adrian stalking forward, dark as a shadow.

Adrian: I spent the last ten years in prison because YOU were too weak!

Jaune: Listening to your family is never a weakness!

Adrian: You knew I was the supposed to be the next greatest huntsman! The hero! But when Ruby turned me away, what did you do?! NOTHING!

Jaune: You weren't meant to be the hero! That was not my fault!

Adrian: NOT YOUR FAULT?! (Throws photos) WHO FILLED MY HEAD WITH DREAMS?! (Tosses dishes) WHO TAUGHT ME TO TRAIN UNTIL MY BONES CRACKED?! (Lifts case) WHO DARED DENY ME MY DESTINY?! (Launches entire weapons case and shelves)

Jaune: (Blocks weapons, Charges through, Shoves Adrian) It was never my decision to make!

Adrian: (Grabs Crescent Rose from the wall, Smiles) It is now.

Jaune rushed forward again, but was sent to the back foot as Adrian twirled the scarlet scythe expertly around, just as Ruby taught him. The irony was not lost on him as Adrian made short work of both his former home and the distance between them. Jaune caught the scythe in the wall with his shield. Adrian struggled in vain to free himself, pinned between the handle and his uncle.

Adrian: Give! Me! The relic!

Jaune: You'll have to kill me!

Adrian managed to free himself and the scythe with a kick and a shove. As he swung at Jaune, he retaliated and cut through the handle. The last memento Jaune had from his best friend. As he gazed upon the remnants of his friend, he swore he saw rose petals dance over them.

Adrian didn't leave him much time to reminisce. Swiftly disarming Jaune, the battle shifted to hand-to-hand as punches, kicks, grabs, throws were tossed in the remains of Jaune's kitchen before the older fighter was thrown out of his house. Adrian leapt upon him, hoping to pelt his uncle as much as the rain was doing that night. Jaune managed to block the hits and free himself to his feet. As the door slammed shut from the wind, Jaune grabbed hold of Adrian, amd he rushed to make his way back inside, using Adrian as a battering ram. However, Adrian swiftly turned and caught Jaune instead, using him to bash his way through the door until it eventually caved and skidded across the kitchen floor.

Jaune rolled inside, disoriented from the battle. He managed to grab hold of his sword, but found his shield of reach. His shield was in Adrian's hands. Swiftly disarmed, Jaune's aura took blow after blow from his enraged nephew.

Adrian: ALL I EVER DID, I DID TO MAKE YOU PROUD! TELL ME HOW PROUD YOU ARE, UNCLE! TELL ME! TELL ME!

With a final slash that drew blood, Jaune rolled into his bedroom. In front of the closet. In front of the relic's resting place. With wheezing gasps, he spoke to his nephew. With tears in his eyes, he spoke to Adrian.

Jaune: I... I've always... I've always been proud of you, Adrian. Ever since I first saw you, I've... I've always been proud... And it was my pride... that led you down this road. And I... I was too blind to see who you were becoming. What you were becoming. And I... I'm sorry...

Adrian stood there, looking down at the mentor, the father figure that was his uncle. He held many regrets in his life, chief among them was what led to this moment. His love and his pride left him bloodied and crying on the floor. Adrian tossed aside the sword, and pressed his uncle's shield against his throat.

Adrian: I don't want your apologies. I want my relic!

As Adrian pressed, he peered into the closet and found it was empty!

Adrian: The relic! WHERE IS IT?!

Jaune: Th-The silver-eyed warrior has already left with the relic! They're probably halfway across Remnant by now! Y-You'll never see it again! N-Never...

With the last of his strength, Jaune's vision blacked out. Slipping from this world. Perhaps, finally, for the last time...

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Hegemony & Full Season 2 – TV Review

TL;DR – A tense end to a remarkable season. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Disclosure – I paid for the Paramount+ streaming service that viewed this episode.  Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Review – Well, it has been a rollercoaster of a season, with episodes flying, time-travelling shenanigans, and cross-overs happening, but we have now come to an end for now. If viceroy hasn't appeared until the ball and fu didn't know about him does that mean his akumazations were more subtle and used more to gather information or that he never used Nooroo beyond transforming himself and akumazating Adrian?

yup! he has a complex network of people working for him that gather info n' shit for him in exchange for powers of various kinds. and since Nooroo and Tom are working in sync, less of a master-servant relationship, Viceroy has a stronger grip on his akuma than Hawkmoth did.

like Nooroo still isn't into the whole revenge thing, but also, he can't... BLAME Tom, either. like, his wife was essentially murdered by proxy, and now his daughter is suffering a similar fate - and Nooroo really... really doesn't want Marinette to die. It was bad enough knowing Sabine died slow, but finding out Marinette is set on that path too is really heartbreaking for him. He finally found the person Tikki and the other kwami loved so much, and she's about to be slaughtered because of incompetence.

Soooo Nooroo's consent helps assist with how much control Tom has over the powers of his Akuma. so does Marinette's help in the garden!

author's note: sorry for the lack of content! i’ve been terribly lazy tehe!

Typically, the dungeons of Hogwarts are dark, cold and gloomy. First and second years were always huddled up in a corner, scrambling to complete their overdue assignments. This time, none of them were in sight. The highly anticipated Quidditch match resulted in Slytherin’s favour and like every other win, another raging party was put on. 

Green strobe lights lit up the common room and the air was filled with the scent of intoxication. Pansy and Lorenzo were on the floor, amidst the sea of people, dancing to the rhythm.

The loud music blasted out of the speakers made your heart thump with excitement. Mattheo and Blaise were on top of a table which surprisingly supported the weight of two beefy beaters. The former shouting the lyrics to Weasley Is Our King at the top of lungs along with the rest of the crowd whereas Blaise was taking swig after swig of the Firewhiskey which was graciously provided by an anonymous seventh year. On the other hand, Theodore was seated on the leather chair and you, comfortable on his lap.

“Weasley cannot save a thing! He cannot block a single ring!” Mattheo sang, throwing both his hands into the air. 

You watched with amusement while taking a sip of the strange concoction of punch and tequila out of the plastic cup. Contrary to popular belief, Slytherins knew how to appreciate Muggles’ masterpiece of hard liquor. Theo’s hand stroked your thigh that was draped over him. 

“He’s making a fool out of himself,” Theo whispered into your ear. His breath was hot against your neck and your skin started to tingle. Your heart pounded against your ribs as you looked into his eyes

“C’mon, he’s just having fun,” you replied, holding in a laugh as the table wobbled and Mattheo stumbled. “Couldn’t hurt to loosen up too, Mister Nonchalant.”

Theo snorted and sighed, “I think I need a refill, if you want me to loosen up.”

“I can do it. I need someone to top me up too.” You swung you legs off his lap and stood up, straightening your skirt that rode up. Theo probably had a good view of your ass but you didn’t care.

You took his now empty cup and walked towards the bottles, opening them, careful not to waste a drop of liquor. After all, it was difficult to acquire and sneak the bottles into the castle. 

“Great turn out, right?” 

You jumped at the sound of the voice. Turning around to face Adrian Pucey. He looked far to merry to be sober. You doubted he could walk in a straight line. 

“Yeah, I mean it was the last game before the end of the year,” you said nervously, “I think someone would have to be a bloody prat to miss it.” 

Adrian laughed as he took a step towards you. He was definitely not sober at all to disregard how uncomfortable you looked. 

“Well, I’m glad I made it. Wouldn’t want to miss seeing you here,”

You took another step back, as he reached out to grab your arm and a lump formed in your throat. 

“I have to get back to –” 

“C’mon, baby. You know you want this,” Adrian insisted. He tugged on your arm as you tried to wriggle out of his grip.

 “Pucey, let go of me,” you shrieked. As if you wanted anything to do with this slimy, lame excuse of a man.

“C’mon, we will have so much fu–” 

“She said let go of her,” a familiar, husky voice snapped from behind you. You turned to see Theo standing there, arms crossed and he looked pissed.  

Adrian’s face paled, immediately letting go of your arm. Your arm was painted white. How tightly did the wanker have to grip you? Adrian left as quickly as he came, pushing through the crowd, escaping from your volatile boyfriend.

Theo’s face was dark and if looks could kill, Adrian would have been burnt alive by Theo’s scowl. 

“Are you alright, cara mia?” Theo asked, worry written on his face.

You looked up and sighed, “Pucey was just being a prick. Nothing I can’t handle.”

Theo’s finger went up to your face, stroking your cheeks gently. “I love you.” he professed. He glanced at your lips and held your waist, pulling you closer to him. His lips met yours and your eyes fluttered close. You brought your arms up and placed them over his neck, deepening the kiss. Theo squeezed your waist and you let out a gasp, taking the moment to slip his tongue in, dancing with yours. 

Your eyes opened as you pulled away to take in some air. Looking into his eyes as you responded, “I love you too.”

Hi, thanks to those who took part in the poll, the result shows that 3/4 thinks he will come back with his usual clothes in S6. Some preview visuals for S6 shows Marinette and Adrian getting renewal of their clothing design, I wonder if Luka will have any changes for his too… we’ll see!

Luka walks his sister to school (coz he's a good big brother and she's nervous about her first day), he bumps into Marinette - now, he's already heard about Marinette from his sister but he's never actually met her before

He actually physically bumps into Marinette, or she does to him coz heck our girl lacks spatial awareness, and she falls but he catches her, and she doesn't feel anything but embarrassment but he, oh Luka, Luka is blushing, just a little bit coz wow, she's just got the prettiest freckles

and he's all up in her face so he leans back and helps her upright because he was practically dipping her and he let's go of her waist and Juleka mumbles 'Hi, Marinette'

so this is Marinette

she says hi back and introduces herself, 'oh you must be Juleka's older brother, Luka', Juleka mumbles smth about twins but Luka's not paying attention to her anymore, he's looking at Marinette and thinking about all the good things Jules has had to say about her in the past and how pretty she is, our boy is swooning so hard, he forgot to reply back before the warning bell has rung signalling to students class is starting soon

he says a quick rushed 'bye, you'll do great, I'll be here to pick you up' to Juleka and a quick smile to Marinette before he pushes the girls towards their classrooms and rushes out himself (this all takes place after the incident (test) with Master Fu)

This is Luka crushing on Marinette, then you have Marinette crushing on Scarlet Bug

because this strong, hunk of a guy, beautiful man is now her partner against crime (which she didn't sign up for !! but she'll do what she needs to do for the people of Paris) and at one point she gets flung across the block and lands in the beefy arms of a boy with gorgeous blue eyes

cue Marinette getting extremely nervous and stutter-y around him coz damn, she's falling

the fight goes so and so but it passes pretty quick, it was a bit difficult for Luka coz his partner would trip sometimes and wouldn't look him in the eyes but he just put it down to first time jitters, he was deffo feeling them too

they don't, however, purify the Akuma and so they're back at the fight a little over an hour later but now with a new addition to their already new team, Adrian !! (referring to Dog Miraculous!Adrien as Adrian coz I don't like Flairmidable, and Adrian is apparently a common name for dogs so hush)

Adrien is gay, he's known since he was a kid, women never crossed his mind - so when he lays eyes on the gorgeous gorgeous black and red haired (because I say so !!) boy that he is now meant to fight these so-called Akumas with, can you really blame him for falling in love?

So Adrien being Adrien starts flirting with this boy, non-stop, and it's not like he tells him to stop, no !! The boy, ScarletBug he introduced himself as, flirts back !! he indulges in Adrian's advances which springs a little hope in his heart, but also makes a certain Kitty mad

This wretched dog, just showed up out of no where! and is stealing her man!!

She gets so mad, she forgets to be nervous around Scarlet and here marks the start of a beautiful rivalry between Chien and Chat (maybe I'll have a play with the word chein for Adrien's superhero name)

This leads to them defeating the Akuma rather quickly and skillfully, bringing all surrounding citizens to awe as they watch this trio of Superheroes who work so well together and at the end, after Scarlet has purified the Akuma and Miraculous ScarletBug'd all the damage away, he extends both of his fists to new partners

the first 'Pound it' of many, even if this time Kitty and Adrian didn't do it to each other (they both have eyes only for Scarlet, they don't even take notice of each other)

until he bounds away that is, saying how he's about to transform and needs to hurry home and he rushes a quick goodbye and salute to them both before leaving

then the two left on the Eiffel finally take notice of each other's presence, glaring at each other with pouts on their faces and crossed arms

'Back off, dumb dog'

'He's mine, stupid cat'

'I saw him first!'

'I talked to him first!'

cue more glaring, growling and hissing until their ring/choker (omg I forgot the dog miraculous is basically a collar) beeps and reminds them they need to hurry back to class

so with a hmph from both kids, they hop down from the Eiffel and head off to detransform

I say Astruc hates giving characters development so he just shoves their arcs to different characters and calls it a day. Felix got to be everything Adrian was supposed to be; Zoe only exists because Astruc needs to leech out any interesting plots out of Chloe; Su Han exists because conflict with Marinette and Fu sounds messy to write; Tomoe is only Gabriel's henchmen because Nathalie is out of the picture. All these characters get arcs and characterization that should have never been.

There are also a lot of characters who pretty much become good because the plot says so.

Sabrina, Andre, Nathalie, and Felix all condoned the actions of characters like Chloe and Gabriel, but during this season, the writers tried to convince us that that they never liked doing bad things, and that they were good all along.

The Guardians of the Miraculous can be wrong too, or

there are several reasons why Kwami Longg should belong to another owner.

Earlier I wrote that Adrian is only a temporary owner of the miraculous black cat, but now I want to share my guesses about the true bearer of the miraculous Dragon and what qualities a person should have to be given such an honor.

Let's start with who Long is? Long (dragon) is a fictional animal, but it has the greatest influence and impact on the people of China 🇨🇳. In Ancient Centuries, Long was a totem worshiped by the people of China . In their eyes, Long was a God, holy and sacred, able to command rain and wind, ride on fogs and clouds.

So in our show, Kwami Longg gives the owner of Dragon Miraculous the power to use the elements of water, wind and lightning.

In the special episode Miraculous Shanghai, we were introduced to a girl named Fei 🇨🇳. She was found as a baby by Wu Shifu on the doorstep of his martial arts school and raised by him as his adopted daughter. Wu Shifu trained her in martial arts 🥋 and raised her to uphold the values ​​of Miraculous and one day become the guardian of the Sacred Cave.

She later becomes the superheroine Ladydragon. She can transform into a dragon as long as she possesses the value of justice. In her dragon form, she can fly and can control the elements of storm (wind, water, and lightning). Dragon is the most powerful form that Prodigious grants her.

Fei has a deep need to help people in any way she can, even strangers.

Fei is well trained in kung fu and is very strong.

As for the superheroine Paris-Ruyuko, Kagami Tsurugi, this girl is from Japan 🇯🇵.

She practices fencing. She is quite emotional and prone to rage, does not tolerate defeat, is too trusting and naive, easily falls under the influence of others. Without thinking, she often rushes into fights with supervillains, as a result of which she ends up defeated.

Kagami receives a miraculous dragon from Ladybug in the episode "Ikari Gozen" to free himself and defeat Ikari Gozen and is later sometimes summoned to fight villains together.

She is cold and arrogant towards other people.

Because of her naivety and frivolity, she confides in strangers other people's secrets, without thinking about the consequences.

And the third character I wanted to mention is a girl named Socqueline. Like Marinette, she is half Chinese 🇨🇳 and half French. She practices martial arts 🥋, is confident, smart, and is not afraid to stand up to bullies.

Socqueline was the only person in school who protected Marinette from Chloe. She is a big fan of Ladybug and admires her work. Because of her admiration and her desire to help, she has dressed up as Ladybug many times and done many good deeds.

So, did Ladybug make a mistake by giving the miraculous dragon to Kagami again (ep. 526)? After all, in order to be a worthy owner of the miraculous, you must first of all have a pure heart, a desire to selflessly help people, have patience and endurance and, most importantly, devotion. Since Kagami is not suitable for this role because she does not correspond to the above-mentioned human qualities, Socqueline is the one who will become a worthy bearer of the miraculous Dragon, because she is so similar to the Fei.
