How many time do I need to reccomend the Smart Girl's Guide To Polyamory by Dedecker Winston! I feel like I never shut up about it and still people have never heard of it! I am just going to create a quick list of all the polyam books I have read. Because when I was first learning about polyamory it felt like you were required to read certain books before you could get your polyamory license yet so many other people haven't read any books! One day I might write out longer reviews for these.

The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships & Other Adventures by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy- This is one of the first ever books focused on polyamory. As such it is a bit dated. Despite that I think it is still a good book that people can get a lot out of. Just keep its age in mind.

More Than Two: A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory by Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert - When I started learning about polyamory this was the holy bible of polyamory that everyone insisted that everybody must read. I honestly liked The Ethical Slut better though. Since then though the book has been utterly condemned by the community and people are now very quick to scream how nobody should read this book because Franklin Veaux was revealed to be abusive in his relationships so now suddenly the book is a guide to teach people how to be abusive in relationships. I guess??? Eve Ricket has put out multiple statements about the book about if people should still read it or not but I am sure I will miss something if I dive into that. Like more The Ethical Slut, just keep in mind it might have some problematic aspects. But I personally think there is still some good stuff in it that people might find value in. It has been a while since I read it but I don't remember it being problematic, just a bit dry and boring.

The Smart Girl's Guide To Polyamory by Dedecker Winston - I'm skipping right to this to say this is my favorite polyamory book! It is very unfortunate that that the title isn't great. And indeed it is written to be aimed at women but honestly I found very very little in the book to feel exclusive to women and not apply to me (a cis-male) just as much. I love this book so much that I re-typed up a passage from it, had it printed on a large poster, and framed.

Sex At Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships by Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jetha - This is another book that used to be worshipped in polyamory circles and wholehearted reccomended. I am so glad that it is now mostly forgotten. Why? BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A POLYAMORY BOOK! This is a very scientific anti-monogamy book. So I was waiting for all this set-up to talk about why polyamory fixes all these problems of monogamy it has taken so long to explain. Spoilers! Polyamory is only briefly mentioned in the epilogue of the book in a half-hearted, "Maybe this solution works for some people". Let's be clear, this is not a bad book. It is a very good book at using scientific evidence to point out flaws with monogamy and can lead to interesting discussion. But it is not a polyamroy book and shouldn't be recommended as such.

Love's Not Color Blind: Race and Representation in Polyamorous and Other Alternative Communities by Kevin Patterson - Another great book that is highly underrated. But note this is not a Polyamory 101 book. I consider this a "next-level" polyamory book. And to be clear I am white/Caucasian and I learned so much from this book and really love it! It opened my eyes in so many ways.

The Polyamorists Next Door: Inside Multiple-Partner Relationships and Families by Elisabeth Sheff - This isn't a bad book but I also didn't really find it to be a good book either. It feels neither pro-polyamory or anti-polyamory. Just a whole lot of stories and facts. I think it might be most interesting for a monogamous person to read.

Polyamory by Marissa Blake - Worst book I have ever listened to and I am pretty sure it is plagiarized. Been meaning to do a project where I research that claim but just haven't been interested in doing so. it is utter garbage.

The Polyamory Breakup Book: Causes, Prevention, and Survival by Kathy Labriola - Another advanced level polyamory book. But I think an especially important one for everyone to read. When you date more people you have more breakups. And when "cheating" is far less of an issue it is becomes hard to understand when you should breakup.

Polysecure: Attachment, Trauma and Consensual Nonmonogamy by Jessica Fern - The new holy bible of polyamory that everybody in every polyamory group will recommend immediately. It is a good book but honestly I think it is overrated. I think it is aimed at a very certain kind of person struggling with polyamory but it didn't resonate a whole lot with me on a polyamory level. I thought Secure Attachment was very interesting but I felt the actual polyamory aspects of the book were a little lacking to me. I do recommend the book but maybe not as someone's first polyamroy book. I think there are better polyamory 101 books. To note I have not read Polywise yet, the authors sequel book that just came out. I think I have higher hopes for that one though.

Ready For Polyamory by Laura Boyle - Most recent book I read and I had wanted to write a full review but I forgot. This is a fairly good book. I feel like it doesn't stand out much from the other Polyamory 101 books but overall solid. The one place where I give it the most praise is it has the most up-to-date definitions of terms which over the years have evolved and changed over time. The spectrum of polyamory styles I think is especially important for people to read. Older books didn't mention this at all or it was only Parelle VS Kitchen Table. Now we have a much wider spectrum and I often see a common mistake for newbies is for 2 partners to be at different point of the spectrum and never acknowledging it.

What are some underrated fandoms that you’re in? I know most of your page is Hazbin hotel content, since it seems to be your longest Masterlist, and I wanna send in requests for other fandoms for you if you don’t mind!

I feel like I’m in a lot of fandoms, like I feel like sometimes I have the most bizarre interests, but I do wish some of the fandoms I liked were more well known, just because sometimes I get asks and I get so excited when people actually know what I’m talking about and like what I like you know? Andre hcs bc he’s underrated 🗣

•While he will listen to Cals grunge & borderline emo music and finds himself enjoying it here and there, he loves aggressive music a lot more. Anything u could mosh too really. His favorite genres are industrial metal & nu-metal.

•If he was a little more confident in himself and wasn’t worried about being picked on for yet another thing, he’d dress a lot more metalhead-y if he could. I imagine his style would be a mix between mallgoth, metalhead, and some military aesthetics thrown in there. (I shared a hc that cal was talking about working at hot topic before and this kinda ties into that lol. I think andre really wanted him to get the job so he could have a excuse as to why his wardrobe was getting more alternative. Yknow? Like since Cals working there and he goes to visit him when he can, why not browse around a little?)

•He self harms mostly when he’s angry. He’ll hit himself/his head when frustrated, punches stuff, picks his skin, and burns himself occasionally. He also cuts too but not as much as Cal does. He makes sure his cuts actually look like cat scratches that Mel could have gave him.

•(somewhat not really a hc/basically canon) He has a couple mental disorders but his parents kinda have no idea. He keeps things going on in his head to himself. Even Cal didn’t realize how bad off Andre was until Andre began to really trust him. Seeing that Cal obviously had his own issues (the sh scars) made it a lot easier for Andre to share his problems. As emo/stereotypical as it sounds, he really didn’t think anyone would ever get him in the same way Cal does.

•Andre is just full on GAY. He kept that note that girl gave him ages ago because it just made him feel happy and flattered. When he burns it, he only does so because he feels like he needs to fully rid himself of anyone but Cal. (Bc let’s be honest, there really wasn’t any point of him burning it otherwise? They wanted to get rid of things like CDs, books, and games so the media couldn’t blame what they did on stuff like that. I don’t get how the media could have tied the little love note to what they did.)

•He really thought he’d be a dog person until he met a actual dog as a kid. He didn’t like how hyper the dog was & that it kept jumping on him. That’s why when his parents saw it seemed like Andre was becoming lonely sometime in middle school, they got Mel. He bonded super quickly with her.

That’s not to say he won’t give a dog attention & play around with it. He just prefers cats over dogs any day of the week.

•He likes going on walks a lot. Especially if cal comes with. He likes finding places that seems like no one else knows about. I think he’d be SO thrilled if they found a abandoned old tree house. He repairs it up a little bit, adds some things inside and then declares it the army of twos meeting place. (even if they actually rarely meet there lol. They r more likely to be at each others houses but they spend some nights, share secrets, plan things and whatnot up there.)

•He’s not shy really when speaking but words do get caught in his throat and he can be kinda awkward & can’t really read the room when he’s with a big group of people.

Yknow that “he asked for no pickles” meme? That’s Cal saying that with Andre behind him to me.. Andre just prefers not to speak unless it’s absolutely necessary (with people other than Cal) or if someone pissing him off.

•He can take just about anything apart and put it back together again. He fixes Cals siblings toys all the time. He even fixes their bikes too. But he can do more complex things like taking apart a computer and all that.

•He doesn’t have many memories from when he was in Germany. He remembers some relatives and just random odd things here and there but he mostly only has childhood memories from his time in the US.

•He cusses, shit talks under his breath, calls Cal both sweet and mean names all in german.

-He doesn’t do it as much as a older teen but when he would forget the word for something in English he’d say it in German.

-The first time he said I love you to Cal was in German since he knew Cal probably didn’t know what he was saying. Like I said he also calls him names too which Cal and Rachel would try to figure the translation for later online. If it’s something romantic, Cal always would go “Haha yeah this definitely wasn’t what he said.”

•He looks up to Cal so much and is jealous of him. He loves that Cal lets himself be more vulnerable & all cheeky/boyish. Andre for some reason or another feels the need to come off as the strong, more masculine and mature one of the two around others. He likes that Cal expresses himself through sappy shit like poems & music. Andre has it in his head that he always needs to bottle everything up which results in him being quick to get angry and lash out.

That last part is why he was always so annoyed by Rachel. He couldn’t find it in himself to even tell Cal that he doesn’t want him spending time with anyone else though it’s honestly pretty obvious lol.

Anyway, the last picture is how I'd imagine Chang and Castafiore's first meeting would go. She as always, acts as sweet and polite and extra af as she always does, let's Chang know that Tintin's talked a lot about him! And then she would bring out some biscuits and pastries she bought as a gift for everyone, and then she and Chang would sit together while eating, and they get along really well, CHANG HAS A WICKED SENSE OF HUMOR THAT CASTAFIORE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF, (haddock would be completely dumbfounded with how good at talking to Castafiore Chang is, and how anyone could talk to her for so long) but little did haddock know, in their conversations, Castafiore does a whole lot more listening than speaking, especially when Chang starts to tell his back story, and all the things that have happened to him and Tintin. After Chang ends his story, he looks up at her after a while of being lost in his story, and mascara is dripping down her face silently, her mouth is agape, and for a few moments couldn't say anything.

Suddenly she burst out loud, pulled Chang into a hug, and sobs after listening to the horrors this sweet kid has gone through.

In over a few hours she seems to have grown a strong attachment to this kid, she'll probably send a package filled with gifts a few months later, along with a long letter talking about what she's been up to and her wishes that Chang will succeed with anything he's currently busy with, and that he shall take care of himself well.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the small character appreciation I was able to share for some obscure/underrated characters! And that they will occupy your mind just for a little while. I love these three so much, tintin shaped me as a person, tintin made my childhood, I hope you have a great day.

his fight with little mac nearly got him booted from the minor league because the ref accused him of throwing the match by only throwing punches that mac would easily block. mac was really pissed bc he assumed von kaiser was underestimating him but he vouched for kaiser and kept him in the wvba. they aren't on good terms bc mac actually has experienced not being taken seriously but he knows he didn't mean anything by it. kaiser just isn't a cold blooded fighter

sorry all kaiser's stuff was so dark AGH i just have emotions abt him. kaiser knows the end of his career is coming around so he started forcing himself not to pick every fight offered to him and distract himself from the time the fight would be happening by exploring the city around him. he most enjoys finding new restaurants and eating with a friend, mostly joe or disco kid.

king hippo fans pspspsps. i know it's hard being a fan of a character who likes eating. i was a niall fan i understand your pain

distractable. omg so distractable and so sweet if you're hanging out with him and literally anyone else starts talking to him he's gone. mall vendors love him bc he will hang on to their every word and walk away with thirteen samplings of perfume and two fruity isla paradisa colognes. this absolutely also applies to street animals

it's not that he doesn't talk, it's the fact that everyone expects him to, so he refuses. get to know me on my own terms if you want to get to know me then. nonverbal power

really enjoys being independent so he doesn't like to date or adopt pets but his yard and the area around his house is filled with warm hiding places for strays to sleep and he keeps a big water bowl cleaned and filled to the top. he tries not to feed wild animals bc it's a really terrible idea to get them dependent but sometimes the wandering chickens are too cute

VERY serious about pacific island animal care. his money is for keeping himself fed and for the care and upkeep of his flowers and beehouses. more often than not he walks along the beach all day looking for trash or an animal in distress

i cannot tell you enough what an actual angel he is to be friends with. if you're depressed in another country he's already on a plane on his way. there is no stopping him. hippo is inevitable

you'd be hard pressed to find a single person on his islands who doesn't adore him and light up when he shows up EXCEPT. the owner of a tourist dive bar called sunset chaser. when hippo was a bab he kept wandering inside bc it's right on the beach and has bubbly vertical fish tanks all around. at first the owner assumed he just didn't speak english, then around the 13th visit he realized hippo understood everything he was saying (mostly Leave Please You're Not Old Enough) and was just showing up at this point to fuck with him. long story short hippo started showing up during peak business hours, get seen by the owner, and get chased out laughing his ass off. he comes around now as an adult (and famous) just to order water and soup and leave (30% tip)

loves to make people laugh and often does it without meaning to bc he's so expressive. if someone is an easy laugher (coughdiscokid coughbearhugger) he doesn't even do anything he just sits there and side eyes them like a dog. and then when they stop laughing he starts giggling and he has a crazy infectious laugh so nobody gets anything done

trying to fight the "blunt russian" stereotypes but he refuses to learn any english words besides "yes." "no." and "i don't know."

loyal to the cologne he's been using since he turned 15. the company making it nearly discontinued it but his team arranged to do an advertisement campaign with him as the face of the brand as long as they promised him a lifetime supply. it's a very cedar-y smell with undertones of chrysanthemum

actually really enjoys taking pictures with fans. he's not super confident about his looks but it's the one of the only times he allows himself to smile for pictures. otherwise you have photographers assuming that you will smile for any picture when that is simply not true

he was so hot in his 20's. hold on let me find the image

he didn't like any of the attention he got so at 24 he shaved his head and started growing out his facial hair.

in general he hates being told what to do or being made a fool of. there's a reason he's in the crowd throwing bottles at aran ryan in title defense he got PISSED when aran wasn't fighting fair

despite this and the persona he adopts in the ring he is an extremely level headed and accommodating man. he and bald bull click pretty easily since they both understand how hard it is to shake a reputation of past aggression

soda's wake-up call to that happened in high school. he was constantly restless and getting into trouble with his teachers because he was struggling academically but could never verbalize just how, and with his authority figures when he "had" to fight his classmates in order to not look like an idiot and a wimp. yuh deep rooted resentment of authority

he has never actually drunken alcohol before. "vodka drunkinski" was an over the top joke name around the wvba's tendency to push boxers into stereotypes (his boldness impressed bald bull and started their years long friendship)

the first boxer ever signed to the wvba and plans to stick around until his muscles give out. that said the same loyalty cannot be prescribed to the wvba itself

as a young man he was the golden calf. the cash cow (sorry i'm done) he was ready for the cameras at any time; he owned his angry and aggressive persona and he loved the public's fascination with his deadly bull rush. the name bald bull was synonymous with power, fearlessness, with the best of the best and with success.

when don flamenco was coming onto the scene, it was exactly the matchup both men needed. i mean, hello?? the bull and the bullfighter??? this was the fight of the century and the wvba didn't let ANYONE forget it

of course a fight is one night only, but good advertising can last a lifetime. (for better or for worse.) all the promotional material starts rolling out; bald bull's snarl contrasted with the young, calm, captivating don. there were photoshoots of don in matador suits, swinging the red cape with a proud smirk on his face, as though he had already won. as though his opponent were really a bull.

bald bull didn't need to be told who was favored to win. if the bull beats the matador, there is no cheering.

bald bull did win the match, though. handily. practically a massacre; don flamenco hardly threw a punch that mattered. and bull was right; the crowd didn't cheer.

he hadn't even taken off his boxing gloves before bull was summoned to be checked for doping. he had a nasty fight with the wvba doctor then; if he wasn't doping, why wouldn't he just let the tests prove him right? he seemed uncharacteristically aggressive tonight. maybe he should take an indefinite break

finally he defended himself hoarse; he took the blood test. no outside intervention. no apology. no need to push the matter further.

both don and bull's teams approached the wvba with the ultimatum that neither boxer would be coerced into any further matches, on threat of losing both of the fighters. they agreed and don flamenco and bald bull have not spoken since. bull specifically refuses to make any statement on the incident, while don flatly reiterates bald bull's expertise as a veteran of boxing, staying silent on any other questions.

that was, if you could tell, when bald bull learned the sticking power of an aggressive persona. his name is still synonymous with intimidation, power, and rage, though at some point the line between compliment and insult started to blend together.

he's extremely cagey about his real self, though being in the spotlight for so long has left very little of his public image to the imagination, and he's certainly much more irritable than he was as a young man.

he isn't all that he makes himself out to be, obviously. but there is no softer side that's yet to be found; he's just human. that means enough to him, anyway

if you were to dig deep in the youtube educational side (why would you. dork) you would find content by bald bull aimed at students struggling with physics. he loved science in school and was constantly conducting little experiments, and he was fascinated by physics. he feels bad for anyone who really enjoys science but gets held back by higher applications, so he purposefully shows any and every mistake he makes in the experiment to disprove that you have to be perfect as a scientist and to add a bit of entertainment to an otherwise pretty excruciating field

he's extremely well traveled, having visited every country in europe and nearly the entirety of asia as well. his parents believed the best education a child could get was through direct exposure to the real world. he would get horribly homesick and withdraw, dreaming of his bedroom in turkey until his grandmother gave him a piece of advice he carries with him to this day

he grew to enjoy travel, and whenever he starts to feel homesick, he bakes himself baklava. not quite how his grandmother would make, but it comforts him all the same

i know we all want the wvba to be besties but we gotta be honest at some point. it would be weird if this seventeen year old were just casually hanging out with these men who are on average three times his age

he's a good boxer (duh) but i swear i heard years ago that he was doing professional boxing in order to go to law school later on? pls tell me if you've also heard that i often feel like i'm insane. lawyer mac is so cute rotating him in my mind

btw i believe the name "little mac" being a pretty well known moniker being first used by nes mac, then snes mac and whatnot. i do also believe in mac's first name being macario though so i think doc louis just got really lucky this time around

he was a pretty unremarkable student in terms of popularity before he got famous but after it got so unmanageable he had to switch to online school thereby isolating him even more

he gets flustered so easily. he'll be jogging at the crosswalk with doc waiting for it to clear and then accidentally make eye contact with some guy and nearly slip on his own feet

due to my penchant for forgotten fighting games i also made he and mechanica from ARMS siblings. they both have celebrity crushes on ribbon girl but mac is a kid cobra stan for lifeeee

he and doc have grown inseparable over the course of his career. mac does have parents but he considers doc a father figure too; mac's family tree puts way more merit on chosen family rather than blood

speaking of family trees mac's is wild. he has family in india, haiti, the philippines, mexico, hawai'i, brazil, indigenous america, puerto rica like family reunions go crazy. he's closest (in location and by direct connection) to his latino cousins in the bronx and brooklyn so everyone just assumes he's latino. he honestly has no idea

however due to his multi heritage he loves tweeting once he beats someone. like when he beat don flamenco he immediately tweeted "that's for puerto rico"

mac actually programmed the training holograms as well as his own mesh hologram! he watches copious amounts of past performances of the boxer he's set to go up against and runs an extremely simplified version of their style and estimates how they'll deal with exhaustion, how much force they'll put into each round etc

Do you think Daisuke/Davis is a underrated goggle head because his bad personality in English Dub version?

Yes. No question about it. Well, okay, if there is room for question, it's more that I don't think "underrated" is the right way to put it because I think a good chunk of complaints about American English dub Davis are entirely legitimate, it's just that the "the dub didn't change much" fallacy means that most people don't realize this isn't how he was written in Japanese, that this isn't the character a lot of people (read: anyone working from the Japanese version or most non-English dubs) are referring to when they talk about Daisuke, and, most importantly, that future 02-based material (including the upcoming movie) is not going to be based on what the American English dub did with him.

Of course, this kind of thing is very subjective. But in the last ten or so years that I've seen people become increasingly aware of the Japanese version, I've seen so much of the phenomenon where people who disliked (or even despised) him from the American English dub found him to be one of their favorite characters (if not favorite character) upon watching it in Japanese. This happens with such high frequency that you'd have to be in denial to pretend that this isn't a real thing, and it's probably the disparity I've seen the most with any Digimon character.

Here's the thing, though: I don't think it's a bad thing for a character to be rude or arrogant, in the sense that characters who are human will have human flaws. In terms of sheer rudeness, I like characters from other franchises who are far worse punks than American English dub Davis ever was. The problem is that Daisuke is written with a character arc that's premised on him having always been open-minded from day one (with his real problem being assertiveness and emotional resolve rather than him ever having been condescending or rude), and American English dub Davis's writing does not fit inside that framework. So when you have a character who's constantly dunking on everyone around him, and nobody ever addresses this and instead starts talking about how friendly he is in the second half of the series, it's hard to believe, because it just feels like "this entitled jerk is a really nice guy we swear" is being shoved in your face whether you agree with it or not.

In terms of my personal story with Davis and Daisuke, for me, the major dealbreaker was the way Davis treated Kari. Even now, it rubs me the wrong way; it's creepy, invasive, and entitled, and the fact that it's treated like a "boys will be boys" thing and Kari is expected to just put up with it does not go over well with me as a girl who's experienced way too much harassment in my life (and the sentiment has only gotten worse over the years). So it was pretty shocking to flip over to the Japanese version and find that he was no worse than an immature puppy who arguably respects women the most in the cast (and certainly more so than Taichi does, even). I've even seen quite a few Japanese fans call him their first crush or ideal man...but anyway, point is, I'm also pretty sure that was a dealbreaker for quite a few others too (especially anyone else who's gotten that kind of harassment), and people really do not talk enough about how important that difference in nuance is. Because if he has a crush on Hikari/Kari and is immature about it, it's all the same thing, right?

You two might have a lot of similarities. Rook has a fascination for most if not all living creatures, and I'm sure bugs are in there

He likes catching them and is extremely skilled in it. Like you could ask him about catching a fly that's traveling at the speed up light and he'll just slowly raise his hand and BAM there it is!

He asks you a lot of questions about insects. They range from your personal favorite to how different a weevil is to a cylas formicarius. Absolutely loves it when you indulge him in all kinds of topics

Rook really admires your love for insects since they tend to be pretty underrated (think bees). He doesn't have a favorite but he does like ones that look "pretty" (think butterflies or orchid mantis)

Similar to Silver he doesn't think it's a weird thing to be interested in insects. He loves it when you talk to him about your studies and will often peer over your shoulder when you're studying

okay it’s time i talk about LAZARUS. i just think this is a very underrated episode. cuz where fire showcases the differences between scully & phoebe green, lazarus does the opposite and broadcasts mulder’s & jack willis’s similarities — painting mulder as scully’s ~type~ and it makes me want to scream. it is SO aggressive. and while i think cc didn’t want the romance to overtake the show (he knew very well their relationship & chemistry were extremely important) the fact this episode made it through him & aired is no accident. (also team cc was in love with dd & ga and was just as into mulder & scully as any of us. but he’s stubborn & was too steadfast in not sexualizing ga/scully [mostly] or their relationship but i digress.)

the first scene actually kills me. her conversation with willis sounds so much like one she would have with mulder, and i’m not good at identifying straight flirting whatsoever (mulder & scully do NOT fall into that category lol)

(and like the foreshadowing — as in obviously the whole case but later when mulder is listening to his tapes?? he already didn’t ~have~ his head. AND this is another reason i love this case, because at the end of the day, the viewer gets to decide what the “truth” was. because i think everything lines up for willis being in so deep & the trauma causing his erratic behavior OR it very well could have been dupre as mulder believes.)

what i love about scully is she dated this man, she cares for him, they have maintained some kind of friendship & professional relationship — and it doesn’t seem like she holds anything against him. like she genuinely still likes & cares for him and i love seeing “failed” relationships where there’s no animosity between them. they just. didn’t work out romantically and they accept each other as they are and ??? this actually is a little gay. but anyway. what i really wanted to say was how scully’s sincerity & genuine caring always blow me away. i love her.

SO when dupre shoots willis — scully shoots the man THREE TIMES. and the look on her face. she is absolutely enraged. it wasn’t merely professional. that was personal. (and it pales in comparison to what scully does for mulder but a little taste, showing it’s something consistent with the men in her life.)

i love that anytime scully walks into a medical setting, she acts like she owns the place and she does whatever she has to to override the actual doctors in charge. incredible.

i love every exchange with mulder & scully in this episode because the way the butt heads over theories is just. THEM. and i’m sorry but scully’s make perfect sense & they fit and this coming on the heels of beyond the sea and “i’m afraid to believe” is really special. she’s most afraid to believe (i think?) when it’s close & personal. for her or for mulder. and we get to see the fear up close & personal this time around, and yeah, hidden behind some skepticism but i think this is the first time it’s obvious that it’s fear.

two men died in that crash room, scully. one man came back. the question is…which one?

sometimes it seems like mulder is being an ass, so obsessed with the paranormal & lacking empathy. but really, he only focuses on the paranormal & pushes his theories when he really thinks he’s right (which is a lot of the time, but he is willing to concede [thanks to sculy] when the evidence truly doesn’t line up). and it works because they both compartmentalize and scully needs that on a case like this.

[also, it seems unnatural for scully to call him willis. jack rolls off her tongue so intimately and it feels similar to mulder & scully using their last names. an intimacy for them, and a very private, special intimacy when they use each other’s first name. they don’t typically let anyone hear them say it. do you know what i mean? the way they make names so personal & intimate on this show is kinda wild to me. especially interesting in season two when mulder meets her family.]

the humor when they go see dr. varnes is top tier. he tells the story about the pilot (a truly horrible thing) and mulder just says “that’s a nice story” lmaoooo

(i also always want to know if the science is accurate. scully talking about near death experiences? what varnes says about the burst of energy? i know absolutely nothing about any science but god i wish that was a special interest of mine sometimes lol)

i believe it’s a long way from saying jack had a near-death experience to saying his body’s been inhabited by warren dupre…a long way

like. we see mulder open up about his personal life, and they typically answer each other’s personal questions. but this conversation exposed so much. who is scully describing — jack or mulder? it’s just so good. also!! mulder’s little smile as she talks.

when willis actually shows up at the scene as the investigative team is there — scully doesn’t seem surprised by jack’s behavior [her frustrated ~jack~ as he’s ranting about the case] and he listens to her about the medical evaluations. like yeah, dupre could have been a decent actor & good at reading the room but that moment looked a lot like the jack we saw in the first scene.

mulder playing his tricks, trying to get evidence for scully. and learning her birthday if he didn’t already know it. two birds, one stone. very mulder lol (see also: stakeout dates, weekend case dates, dinner & going over casefiles)

and their fingerprint evidence is gone…obviously jack had it. (tbh this whole thing reminds me of episodes in other cop shows where the investigator gets in too deep & “becomes” the perpetrator. happens later on the x files too, grotesque?) mulder is exasperated. because he’s trying so hard to speak her language — science & evidence. (but it isn’t anger or resentment!!!!!!)

and what’s so special about these two — scully is always listening to mulder even when she doesn’t agree or believe what he does. because she values him & what he has to say. she knows he’s a good investigator even if his theories are “out there” and he still finds important information & evidence that will lead to the truth / closing the case.

and SO she asks willis about the missing fingerprint, and she goes off with him to find lula. (he actually asks her, so was he already plotting to take her? and she goes despite being confused by his behavior at this point. not the same as her earlier concern for his well-being…)

the little bit of capable woman helping useless man in a typical couple way — willis doesn’t remember the address or name of the guy and she has to tell him. this is such a couple thing it kills me. also…has this not happened with mulder & scully at some point too? which is just funny because mulder’s memory is obnoxious. but he definitely absorbs information he ~cares~ about a lot better.

his dopey smile when he sees lula is a red flag FOR SURE. but i think scully can find it believable because of how long he’s been working the case, determined to catch them.

but god i hate this. because scully is so hurt by everything that happens next. this is a man she cares about deeply, taking her hostage, physically hurting her, being cruel. something i don’t believe jack ever did to her. and i think she doesn’t know what to believe, but she can’t believe it isn’t jack. that is terrifying because her chances of getting through to him, of escaping mostly unscathed, of surviving … greatly diminish. so through it all, she calls him jack, tries to remind him of who he is, talks about their relationship, uses her medical background to help him, etc etc.

and god. agent bruskin. i really like him. he starts to question mulder about his x time theories, and mulder is just. so great. “it doesn’t matter what i think. we’re still after the same thing.” and he keeps going along with mulder.

one of the only times he uses her first name in front of someone. and only the second? time we see it. the first time being beyond the sea…

(okay wait the way she tries to convince him he’s jack — she starts with facts. his name, his address and then when he isn’t moved, she goes more personal. she’s so sad & scared when he presses the gun against her. and when she realizes he’s drinking soda, she plays into him being dupre just a little to try to save him.)

mulder !!! listening to willis’s tapes. “i feel myself getting into their heads and i’m scared by what i’m feeling. the intoxicating freedoms that comes from disconnecting action and consequence. theirs is a world where nothing matters but their own needs, their own impossible appetitive and while the pleasure they derive from acts of violence is clearly sexual, it also speaks to what warden jackson called their operatic devotion to each other. it’s a love affair i almost envy.” this whole thing — for one thing, i think it sheds so much light on why scully believes what she does. so at the very least, he’s understanding her perspective more. and i think he understands how willis could have gone too deep. we don’t ~really know what profiling & vcu we’re like for mulder, but i bet there are threads of it he empathizes with. i think mulder was able to do it without becoming it, his issues were something different, but i’m sure he witnessed at least one agent going over the edge.

i’ve talked about it before but i love mulder in this episode and how he operates once she’s missing & then confirmed willis has her. yes, he believes it’s dupre. but he slips back into his profiling & vcu days — more typical investigation, trying to play well with others, following protocol…and he is the one who finds what they need to find her & save her. and his emotional state is a stark difference to her season 2 abduction. he’s still frantic, but quietly. with his panic face.

literally the number of times they say “scully” in such a short conversation — her name carrie’s so much meaning. he will do ANYTHING to get her back. and i think that’s why he falls back on what’s reliable in these cases. he’s so good at this. his golden boy days and i LIVE for when we get to see this mulder. i wish it happened more. because he’s a damn good agent. and he can follow the rules. but the rules aren’t always helpful and that’s how he ended up on the x files. yes, his sister. but also because he’s willing to go as far as it takes to help the people the world’s forgotten about & buried.

but they’ve found her, they’re so close when jack grabs the gun from lula. and scully desperately wants to stop jack murdering this woman.

as soon as mulder sees dupre & lula aren’t a threat, he goes to scully. and she’s honestly traumatized…

now this last scene. he brings her jack’s watch, a gift she gave him. she tells him more about jack. she doesn’t know what to tell the kid jack was a big brother to…

i’m not sure if i interpret this differently than others — because yeah, i think mulder is disappointed she doesn’t believe when it seems so obvious to him, and after “jack” took her hostage, how could she not believe — but i think mulder remembers their conversation in beyond the sea. he knows this isn’t the time to push her, she’s grieving and struggling. but at the same time, he can’t be the person she leans on. he can’t help her with this. so he does the only thing he can and let’s her know it’s okay to believe what she wants to believe. this was personal to her. and while believing in beyond the sea was a small comfort, the idea she could hear one last message from her father, this is a very different case. believing the fantastic wouldn’t be any comfort except that maybe it wasn’t jack causing her pain. but the idea that she lost him in that er, that she didn’t even come close to saving him — that completely shakes her foundation. he saw her anguish over this loss firsthand.

i honestly don’t know if mulder saw the similarities between him & willis, but i find it hard to believe he didn’t. and seeing what this man did to her (like emotionally) is probably a lot to swallow.

SO i love this episode. i think this one of the best cases of ~you decide who was right. you decide what the truth is~

but no matter what, there is no way mulder resents scully for not believing his theory. he is kind & thoughtful, he knows she’s afraid. he isn’t trying to force his beliefs on her. they are both trying to find the truth & prove it. that’s their nature, that’s their work, that’s their relationship. and it works because they both bring the necessary pieces to do it.

Opinions on these DJATS ships?: (book and show) Karengraham, Daisybilly,Edmila, Warrenlisa. Also, Rod Reyes is an underrated DJATS character and I loved his ending.

Oh boy… 😂 weeeeeeell. My memory isn’t the best and my opinions between book and show ships tend to blur. Except for Edmila since that one didn’t exist in the book.

Karengraham - I felt that they were always meant to be a fling as soon as you realized Karen and Graham had different views on the future. Don’t get me wrong, I loved their dynamic and thought they had great chemistry but Graham wanted someone to settle down and have a family with which didn’t match what Karen wanted out of life.

DaisyBilly- this is such a complicated mess. Personally, after everything Billy went through with his father issues, lack of self control, low confidence, you name it. He needed to spend more time with recovery and see a therapist. To me, Daisy turned into a new kind of drug for him that he clearly couldn’t get enough of. Now, this is where it gets messy because I am in the camp (as unpopular as this is) that believes he was in love with two different women at the same time. I also think that even though the book never came out and acknowledged it that, to me, he did cheat on Camila with Daisy. The reactions were far too dramatic for it to be a near kiss (in the book) and a parking lot kiss (in the show). I wish the show and book went into more about how long and what happened after Camila passed away for Billy to see Daisy. And, I don’t know if this is because I’m getting older or what, but I do feel that if I was in Camila’s place I would want to encourage my husband to seek happiness and not let it die with me. Again, this is so complicated and one of those discussions that can go on and on. There’s a lot of emotions and history and unknowns here. Plus the cheating on both Billy and Camilas part further complicates it. When he was WITH Camila physically and emotionally it made me warm and fuzzy inside. They worked well together and were really lovey dovey in their scenes. Just watching them together is a guaranteed smile from me. When he was with Daisy you can see just how charged and alive he is creatively and that creativity was his passion. Daisy shared that same passion with him, which I also enjoyed seeing play out. I felt very much like Billy (reading and watching every thing unfold) and couldn’t decide which path to choose. Which made the whole experience enjoyable as I usually have a clear cut choice when I watch love triangles. But I know I’m alone in this camp.

EdMila- I know Eddie tends to be the least favorite character, and I didn’t like him in the book, but in the show you can actually see he was in love with Camila. And I feel Camila knew this and used him. It wasn’t a shining moment in her life and as someone who watched her parents marriage fall apart before my eyes (when I was a kid) I can see why she did what she did. Doesn’t make it right as she and Billy should have ended things before it reached that point. Divorce wasn’t unheard of during that time but hell, Camila did warn Billy their relationship would be over if he loves Daisy. But sometimes severing a relationship gets harder to do especially when children are involved. (I see this with the domestic abuse cases through my job)

WarrenLisa - They were perfect for each other. I wish the show talked more about them seeing each other and for how long like the book did.

SimoneBernie - I wanted more of them!! God, they were the only healthy relationship in the whole show. It makes me mad a lot of people found their episode boring when it was the one of my favorites!

Rod Reyes - 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I wanted him to find love on the show but I guess they didn’t have time to incorporate that. There really should have been at least 2 more episodes since there was SO much that could have been added.

I'm so glad you found some mutuals to talk to about your fandom! I certainly don't mind you talking about it with me, but I know it's different when the other person is in the same fandom! I hope you're able to discuss about that character at length, he sounds like trouble lol.

So okay the two dick thing... I know people have said the same about Levi... is it a tail thing? A reptile-like tail thing, anyway? Do reptiles have two dicks?! I don't know and I'm afraid to look it up lol. I'm just wondering if this concept is based on something or if it's more like those characters just give people two dick vibes.

I definitely have a ~thing~ for tails in general, though. I really go in phases with smut, like sometimes I'm obsessed and other times I don't care at all, but if I ever come across some that involves a tail, all bets are off. Especially with Barbatos because I love him so much, but yes I think the sliminess of it could definitely act as lubricant lol.

Simeon in general is another underrated character, in my opinion! As such, his ships are also underrated. But I think the Barbatos/Simeon ship certainly has fans! The thing about them is that they both like to take care of people and they each have a little found family that they care for in which there is some overlap. And at first I thought they might have a thing where they kind of compete to take care of each other, but then I realized that they would both realize they could trust the other one. I think both Simeon and Barbatos like to take care of things partly because they know they'll do it best. But then they come to see that they can rely on each other just as well and maybe they start taking breaks finally.

Oh I have thought about what would happen to MC after living the Devildom for an extended period of time.

The fact is, humans need sunlight. So they would need to at least take some kind of Vitamin D supplement. I also think it has the potential to mess up their sleep cycles, which are also dependent on the sun (unless you're me and have a sleep disorder, but you know generally speaking). I would think that if there are diseases in the Devildom that don't exist in the human world, MC would probably get a lot of them at first until their immune system built up resistance to them.

I definitely think the eyesight would be a thing. I mean think about what it'd be like if you lived underground for years and then went outside in the sun. Sometimes just going outside after being inside all day is enough to make my eyes sensitive to sunlight!

I also think it's likely that their tastes would change... or at the very least, they'd have foods from the Devildom that they miss. Or similar things in the Devildom that they think taste better than the human world equivalent.

Just more reasons why MC probably doesn't want to leave the Devildom. All these things start to make it feel more like home than the human world...

And oh I hadn't considered the time speed? I wonder if the Devildom has time zones? Or Daylight Savings Time?!? Please, no. I would lose my mind. I already exist in two different time zones, I just want a break lol.

James ‘Moe’ Alley x nurse Jenny OC- Headcannons - Part 1.

You guys this boy is SO criminally underrated, I love him so I’m gonna dedicate a bunch of these headcannons / scenarios for him. If anybody has any requests for Alley then let me know!

just doing a spin off from the Easy boys x nurse headcannons, I feel like I need to delve further into underrated characters! And the OC being a nurse feels a lot more realistic for me to write about! I can explore more things than I could with a civilian OC.

This is going to be divided into parts just so it’s not insanely long- and I can write about specific events without having to skip past anything.

Also Jenny/ Jen is my go to OC name atm, that and Missy or Maggie- don’t ask me why, they’re just easier to remember 😭😭

I can see Moe being on the shyer / sensitive side. I’ll get more into the sensitive thing further on, but rn let’s talk about him pre war.

I think he’s kinda experienced with girls? Maybe had one or two relationships, but I think his body count is probably around 3/4? Nothing too wild, most of them have been when he’s drunk because I feel like he was maybe a little insecure as a teenager?

by the age of 22 he’s filled out, tall, muscular, super duper handsome, but I feel like he’d still be a little awkward? Especially around girls, around the guys he’s a lot more chill and he’s one of the more popular guys in Easy.

so when a bunch of nurses, attached to Easy company are introduced to the men, 99.9% of them are swarming around them, super happy to have such lovely ladies working alongside of them. But there’s this one particular blonde haired, blue eyed girl which Moe watched from afar. She’s petite, shorter than the rest, with lots and lots of hair and the most perfect face Moe had ever seen.

Moe thinks she looks stunning in her uniform, Angel like, so he can’t even imagine how drop dead gorgeous she is in her normal clothes.

Jenny is similar to Moe, slightly more on the sensitive side, and a little shy. She, however, once she gets to know people warms up super quick and has the most bubbliest personality. She’s chatty and has a laugh that’s contagious, there’s a light spread of freckles lingering across her cheeks and nose which only comes out in the summer, and despite army regulations, she loves wearing makeup and painting her nails.

anyway, back too it, Alley is pretty good friends with Liebgott and Christenson already, and they scored the best seats in the house with this Angel in particular sat right between them.

Moe finds an opportunity that’s not too demanding, nor would it be awkward with his buddies and makes a B line for the table. In the process, Jenny would glance up and see the most gorgeous man walking her way.

He’s tall dark and handsome, she has to take a double take at the baby face to make sure he’s actually walking over to her and not somebody else.

this is cute short when Skinny Sisk plants his ass firmly on the chair, stealing both Jenny’s attention and Alley’s plan. Alley mentally curses, borderline shooting daggers into Skinny’s head before playing it off as going to get another drink.

Every now and then the two of them would glance over in each others directions, curious to know more about each other.

unfortunately neither of them catch each others eyes at the same time and Alley would be under the impression that Jenny’s into Joe Liebgott, seeing as they’re chatting so much.

Anyway, a little time jump, training in Toccoa is fun and all- well, it’s really not. The only fun parts are the occasional weekend pass in which Jenny usually goes home to visit family and friends.

however there’s one particular weekend when she stays on sight, it’s a Sunday evening and shes walking to where there’s a cinema set up inside the hall. Some old movie is playing that’s played 10x over but she doesn’t care.

anyway, she walks in and despite it meant to be quiet in there, people are all like ‘Aw hey, Jenny!’ Glad to see her, and Moe, sat next to Liebgott finally learns her name.

‘Jenny’ Moe mutters out loud, smiling to himself like a dork, swivelled in his seat to face her like many of the other men and women are.

‘Yeah?’ Oh Shit- she heard and Moe’s breathless, and she’s breathless, waiting to find out why this random guy just said her name. Only when Jenny’s eyes narrowed did she recognise it to be the same handsome stranger from the pub that first time.

Moe is PANICKING, Liebgott is smirking, one of Jenny’s friend hooked under his arm as they watch him FREAK.

‘Oh- I just didn’t- know your name. That’s all, I’m Moe by the way.’ He’s springing up out of his seat, standing almost a foot taller than Jenny. She’s borderline blown away by his height, but his nervous rambling makes her feel somewhat at ease.

‘Hi, Moe, it’s nice to meet you.’ Then they shake hands? Kinda awkward, ik. But her voice is so sweet and has the slightest rasp, Moe truly believes she’s an Angel.

‘Well, it’s actually James but… nobody calls me that, anyway d’ya wanna sit here?’ Before he can think he’s offering his chair up and she giggles making him turn a vibrant red. It’s lucky it’s dark in there.

‘No, but, I’ll sit next to you.’ She’s shrugging casually, taking a seat right besides him. They slightly knock shoulders and she’s smiling to himself whilst he’s a sweating mess.

‘What an introduction Moe. Or is it James?’ Liebgott immediately starts teasing, embarrassing his friend further.

Jenny stands up for Moe, thinking his introduction was cute, when she leans over him he gets even more fidgety. ‘Shut your fly trap Joe… Is it Moe or is it James thought?’

conversation kinda flows from there between the four of them sat together, but the movie starting cuts any chance Moe thinks he has to redeem himself, short.

he’d be tense the whole time, and Jenny would be fidgety as hell. He’s stiffened, trying not to do the same, but there’s some kinda happiness inside of him that even if she’s moving around in her chair every 30 seconds, she still chose to sit next to him.

that evening he’d be BEGGING Joe to get you guys all out together, on some kinda four way date as he’s too nervous to approach Jenny alone. Jenny on the other hand drops all the hints possible that she’s into Moe, but she’s too flustered and he’s too flustered to notice.

‘I dunno man, I’m not really into the chick I was with earlier-“ ‘Liebgott, you’ve gotta do me just this one favour, man’.

the next thing Liebgott knows he’s acting very reluctantly as Cupid / matchmaker. But hey, if it makes his buddy happy, and Jenny is a total doll, so he wants to do it for his buddy.

Jenny would be sighing to her best friend Alice, saying how this guys a total dreamboat, all whilst Alice is complaining about how annoying the skinny dude was who she was on a date with. (Liebgott).

anyway I think their initial attraction would be super cute and innocent, but obviously things don’t always run smoothly so stay tuned for part two 😏

The trio are on a date, and their date gets interrupted by a dead body in the middle of a park. I love this short fic a lot because the author really nails their dynamic!

Cosmicpoet is still my favourite saimomoharu go-to for writing like, 11 fics of them, many of which deal with post-game/in-game angst with the right amount of gravity, but some of which are much lighter in tone. In some of their saimomoharu fic they also directly acknowledge the trio as lovers, which I adore. Here's my favourites:

Shuichi attempts suicide and deals with the fallout of it. It's heavy, and also shows Kaito and Maki coping with the trauma of the killing game with alcoholism and gambling. But they all try together. Ends on a small hopeful note.

Post-game, killing game was a VR au. They all get matching tattoos on a sleepless night. While it's in a heavy tone, they all try to find comfort in each other in dark times, which I like.

Like the title says, the trio are on a plane ride together to Novoselic, and as someone who's had to endure longer plane rides this was all too relatable. Their dynamic as friends is written so well here and it's hilarious and heart warming. This fic is a good time!

Pictures on the Wall (~3.6k words, T rated)

This fic is a canon divergent AU and full angst. Made my heart ache in the best way it could :> I wont say any more aside from the fact that this was super intriguing from start to finish, and I will 100% read it again for the roller coaster of emotions

In Black and White by Riona (~1.2 k words, G rated)

Less saimomoharu and more saimota + momoharu, this is also a short read. Post-game, closer to canon-compliant. Shuichi reads Team Danganronpa's production notes about his fictionalized profile, and talks to Maki a bit about it.

More of a Shuichi/Everyone, but with an overarching one-sided saimota, this fic resembles a little more like a collection of thoughts about the ethics of the love hotel sequences. There's a funny section in there where Kokichi has a little talk with Shuichi about the heart keys.

Kaito invites Shuichi out for a road trip, and gay shenanigans ensure :D this author has written a lot of saiouma fics too if anyone's interested, I love his prose-like writing style!

so i wanna talk about my hcs/interpretations of otto's relationships to the rest of the psychic 7 because im very sane and normal. putting it under the cut cause theres quite a lot of text:

ford - the og boys. they're made for each other in that they're both fucking insane. i hate these freaks /pos. i like the idea of them having met in college. maybe they dated, maybe they didnt. i like both options. ford has 2 hands. i think after lucrecia joined the psychic 7, they startrd drifting apart which only intensified as more people joined and ford was the leader so everyone wanted to hang out with him, leading to him having less and less time for the og :( but i think that even when they dont talk much, they still have that innate comfortableness when being around each other. like. even just doing regular stuff together feels easy & effortless? but also i think they reconnect post-game!!! hooray for friendship!!!

lucrecia - my personal hc is that they met on an exchange trip in high school bc i dont think otto's grulovian, but i honestly also rly like the idea of them being childhood friends. goated hc. but anyway yeah they're also besties sobs…. on the surface, lucrecia is the calm yhat balances out otto's…. ottoness, but once you get to know her better, shes also insane. idk i dont rly have a lot of thoughts to put into words with these 2 but theyre BESTIES!!!!

cassie - they butt heads obviously, but theyre close methinks. i hc that cassie was the first to join the psy7 after the initial trio, so with ford and lucy too busy canoodling, i think they ended up hanging out a lot. i think cassie is good at pulling otto back down to earth when he gets too lost in the sauce and starts overcomplicating things compton - i think compton is truly the one person in the psychic 7 who being with is actually. quiet. calm. whatever. for otto. cause with everyone else its always high energy - even cassie, whos usually the calm, down to earth one of the group who grounds a dynamic, her personality happens to clash with otto's so they bicker a lot. but compton's gentle nature is a good match for those times where the Introversion hits otto. i think parallel play is their primary form of hanging out. also i think they both struggle with sleeping (otto cause adhd and compton cause anxiety) and it's just like an unspoken agreement between them that when one of them cant sleep they can always come talk. ALSO. i hc that compton also has somewhat of a knack for science (he helped build the gpc and astralathe 100%) so theyre scientist with the mind of an artist x artist with the mind of a scientist. amen. i love electric sheep

bob - my hc for them is pretty much the same as the commonly accepted fan interpretation. 10/10, no notes. theyre stoner buddies and i think they may have kissed a little. and maybe even…. no, i shant say. i listen to for forever from dear evan hansen and goodbye ms flower thief while thinking about them and just sit there feeling utterly despondent

helmut - NOW THIS. NOW THIS IS A DYNAMIC I THINK IS UNDERRATED. theyre so. UEEEEGHHHH. i think they're the type of silly goofy friends who joke around all the time. things that wouldn't normally be funny seem hilarious when they're together. SO MANY INSIDE JOKES. just a good time all around. i think helmuts also the first one to notice otto's Mental Problems post pn2. they're just uuueeghhh. its so so important to me how artistically oriented otto is despite being a scientist and helmut is an artist as well!!! so!!!! they're both so deeply creative and thats just everything. to me.

Who do you most want to take care of?

taehyung - out of my bts bias line (taehyung, yoongi, jimin), he just seems like he's the one who needs the most care lmfao maybe cuz i relate to him so much and i would very much like to be cared for as well. he's just so 🥹 the thing is that i would be awful at taking care of him, so i think we would both just glide through life figuring out shit as we go. which is fine by me lol it's what i do already

yoongi - to me this is a no-brainer. watching how he cares for the members in his like silent, subtle ways is so fucking endearing. i just know he would be attentive and kind 😭 i'm sensitive and i come from a family background that isn't very caring, so i think i'm drawn to people who are. he's also got his history of struggling with mental illness and (from personal experience) i think that can draw out a caring nature out of people cuz we know how much it sucks to feel shitty/uncared for

Who feels the most like home?

taehyung - as much as i hard stan this man, i have such a soft spot for him. again, maybe cuz i relate to him so strongly? there's the soft, gentle side of him that makes me feel so fuzzy inside. there's a reason why i listened to singularity literally 1,500 times in 2022 (a stat i will be proud of until my dying breath, even tho it kinda points to how fucking mentally ill i am LOL). his voice, his overall presence, feels calming to me. but yeah. he's just very comforting and relatable. i also think that although his promo is going well, he's kinda been an underrated member. i've seen people criticize that he looks mean, doesn't engage in interviews, doesn't hang out with the members as much as his other friends, they think he's stupid, etc. and also don't really appreciate how unique his vocals are/how important they are to the group's dynamic? so i feel very soft toward him for that reason too

jimin - this is kind of a lie cuz i definitely find jimin to be very attractive, 100% would bang if given the chance, HOWEVER i also think we could be such good friends. we could pair up to drag the rest of the members and gossip SO MUCH, SO GOOD. fr he would be so fucking fun. jimin gives me "my best friend who i'm in love with but we'll probably only be fwbs at most cuz he's impossible to lock down" vibes khsdkjfs i just like getting my feelings hurt i think

Express how much they mean to you no limit ramble as much as you want

not to be Too Deep, but like i mentioned, i come from a background that wasn't very caring - especially the men in my life. even tho it's hard to truly know the personalities of celebrities, i think we can all agree that bts seems to show as much authenticity as they can - and they want to do that for us. so it has been really lovely to see these men who are caring, emotional, not afraid to talk about their struggles or express love. idk i've just never seen that irl, and it makes me happy to watch them care for one another. their expression of gender and sexuality has also helped me with my own queer journey, especially seeing how they don't let gender norms control how they express themselves. it's very inspiring. and i think lastly, their willingness to talk about difficult topics (just think how deeply emotional taegimin's solo albums have been) makes me feel very seen. idk. i think a lot of it, for me, falls back on the comfort and reassurance they bring to their fans. it feels like they care, which is not the case for most musicians, especially western ones (the side of the world i'm from)
