listen to me. listen to me. listen to me. deltarune infinity train au
it's been an idea in my head for a while but by god these two stories have so many parallels and connections. lightners/passengers being the most important, using the dark world/the train as a means of escape or improvement and development. darkners/denizens only existing to serve the people from the "real" world. infinite pocket dimensions, infinite cars, infinite combinations of rooms and objects and memories, infinite possibilities.
more thoughts...
imagine the story of deltarune told on the infinity train.
kris and susie (and assumedly noelle and berdly, other lightners that make it to the dark world too) are apprehended at turning points in their lives. they arrive in ralsei's train car, the closet car? the lonely prince car? they both have rather large numbers on their hands, maybe in the thousands. and ralsei is ever so eager to help them on their path to self improvement through the train. he knows only the train, he believes the train does its best to help.
lancer, spade king, rouxls kaard, seam, jevil, all of the characters in the card castle dark world become denizens of the card castle car. denizens like seam and jevil know the true nature of the train and their place in this world.
noelle and berdly in the cyber city car wpuld have sizeable numbers on their hands, but noelle's and kris' would grow if somehow the weird route was allowed to fester here. would someone be controlling kris during their journey on the train? perhaps that's why they're here.
spamton, like mt/lake wants so desperately to escape the train but can't because all he's meant to do is stay and help the lightners become better people. or worse people. after all, susie in chapter 1 would be very susceptible to joining the apex. she moves through a manufactured world, less than real, less important than real people, so she could clobber who she wants. escape from responsibility and reality, escape from improvement.
i haven't thought much regarding parallels in chapter 3 and 4, but i can imagine a game show car and a church car. especially for chapter 4... amelia tried so hard to revive alrick on her own, but the dark world can revive someone just like that...
please give me thoughts if you see this this au has plagued me for YEARS. deltarune fans you NEED to watch infinity train. infinity train fans you NEED to play deltarune.
#imagine how big noelle's number is at the end of chapter 4's weird route. in the millions#kris likewise#or would it go down because the player's actions don't reflect their true intentions?#would a weird route improve kris in the train's eyes?#deltarune#infinity train#deltarune spoilers#deltarune chapter 3#deltarune chapter 4#kris dreemurr#susie deltarune#ralsei#noelle holiday#you heard it from pie

Writing Notes: Types of Characters
You may recall from your literature classes that characters can be “flat” or “round,” and likewise, “minor” or “major.”
A character also may be a protagonist or antagonist.
Look at F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby for examples of character types.
Note that the characters in the novel are more complex than what is stated here, and that Gatsby faces other antagonists—such as class, bourgeois snobbery, and the progression of time itself.
Protagonist: the main or central character, the hero (Gatsby)
Antagonist: opponent or enemy of the protagonist (Tom Buchanan)
Flat/Minor: a character(s) who helps readers better understand another character, usually the protagonist. Also, “a static and undeveloped character of two dimensions” (Knorr and Schell 165). (Nick Carraway)
While Gatsby is our protagonist, the one who we want to succeed, his success would mean ousting his beloved Daisy’s husband, Tom Buchanan.
An idea can also function as an antagonist: Gatsby is also fighting against the bourgeois prejudice of elite 1920s New York City, where “old money”—such as the Buchanans—is worth more than new money, as exemplified by the divide between East Egg and West Egg.
Usually, the protagonist is also a Round character, “a developing three-dimensional character” (Knorr and Schell 165).
In other words, the protagonist must be a character that grows and changes during the story; it is the progress of this change that keeps the reader interested and cheering for the character.
Archetypes
Part of why The Great Gatsby has endured in American literature is because the characters are complex, rather than being simple archetypes.
You are already aware of many archetypes; you can recognize them in the movies you watch, such as the Reluctant Hero (Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games series).
Using an archetype is a kind of shorthand; if you put in a character like The Lonely Old Lady With A Dog, the reader recognizes the character and knows what to expect from them.
This may be helpful when populating your world with minor/flat characters, because it is reassuring and comforting to your reader; your reader knows these archetypal characters already.
Unfortunately, that also means that archetypal characters may be clichéd. Once you put your character down into their world, they can react in various ways to the setting and reality of their lives.
In Mooring Against the Tide: Writing Fiction and Poetry, Knorr and Schell write:
…your characters may react to the world in one of four ways. They may see this society and its values and assimilate by adopting those values as their own; they may accommodate in that they do not like those values but will adopt them anyway if only to get along; they may rebel against those values in any number of ways; or, they may take flight from that society and, as did Huck Finn, head out to the new territories.
In other words, just as our choices in life determine where we go, the plot of your story is determined by the nature of your characters.
These four choices might not seem to offer many different plot options, but in reality, they can play out in an infinite number of ways. Think about your favorite novel or short story—it’s likely that the main character is faced with a choice and has to pick one of the four routes described above.
Otherwise, there may not be much conflict in your story.

If you're feeling heroes
Infinite Realms: Danny Phantom x DC x Marvel AU
Ok Background set-up:
Tim Drake, convinced that Bruce Wayne is still alive, leaves Gotham to search for him, following the path of what he believes are key "historical events." His journey takes him to the desert, where he and his friends discover mysterious runes.
But instead of death befalling his team, the runes turn out to be a veil between dimensions, and they are accidentally sucked into the Infinite Realms—a multiversal space where ghosts, spirits, and lost souls wander.
>>> The Infinite Realms:
The Infinite Realms are vast, uncharted, and connected to every universe, spanning an infinite number of realities.
It's a place of eternal unrest for souls who can not settle, their energy scattered across the realms.
Ghost King Danny phantom oversees this expanse, helping souls who are unable to find peace. His primary task is to evaluate and guide the dead, but things get complicated when some souls have unstable or underdeveloped cores, making them restless or dangerous.
Meanwhile, Vlad Masters (Plasmius) has been secretly aiding Ra’s al Ghul in the mortal world, providing ectoplasm (which functions as Lazarus water in this universe) to Ra’s, in exchange for the loyalty of Ra’s dead assassins. Vlad’s ultimate goal? To usurp Danny and take the throne of the Infinite Realms for himself.
On the other side of the multiverse, thanos snaps his fingers and 50% of the people turns to dust , Peter Parker and half of humanity has been sucked into the soul stone, they dont die though,It just causes a ripple in the fabric of the multiverse, their souls arrive in the Infinite Realms.
but Peter’s left deeply resentful, confused, and struggling with an unstable core
Someone, either Frostbite or Clockwork, takes notice of Peter’s arrival and brings him to Danny for evaluation. As usual, Danny’s focus is on making sure the new arrivals don’t cause trouble, which is complicated by his deep dislike of paperwork (he’s great at physics and biochem, but don’t ask him about statistics).
Danny is swamped with the paperwork for new arrivals when Peter walks in. His appearance is unexpected—he looks like someone who should have settled, but instead, his core is unsteady and kn the verge of chattering.
Peter’s unhelpful attitude only complicates things further. Danny is immediately concerned.
Peter, a genius by nature, peeks at Danny's paperwork and recognises the problem with Danny's administrative mess and offers a solution. Danny, impressed and possibly a bit desperate, hires Peter on the spot to help with the duties of the Ghost Zone.
As things progress, Peter grows more comfortable in the Ghost Zone, though he’s reluctant to fully settle.
Danny starts offering him more and more outrageous jobs in an attempt to keep Peter nearby and help with his unstable core.
What starts as offering him a simple assistant job escalates into more absurd roles—secretary, concubine, king regent, you name it.
Danny will do anything to keep Peter around because he feels Peter’s the key to fixing the realms—and his heart.
Peter, while impressed by Danny's devotion, is wary of the increasingly bizarre proposals. His love language, however, is acts of service, and he appreciates the lengths Danny is willing to go to help him.
Meanwhile, Tim Drake is trying to blend in with the League of Assassins' ghosts in order to track down clues about Bruce.
He quickly learns that Vlad is controlling the assassins, and, much to his disbelief, Plasmius wants to dethrone Danny.
Tim has access to Danny’s historical records, and after sneaking into the archives (probably under Clockwork’s watchful eye), he realizes that Danny is by far the best leader the Infinite Realms have seen in millennia.
Tim starts to believe in Danny’s leadership—and in his own chance to make a difference.
Tim's plan is an easy two steps:
1. Break the assassins free from Vlad’s control.
2. Go to Danny and explain Vlad’s plans, hoping Danny will be indebted and help him return home to Gotham. But, Tim, ever the tactician, also knows that if he takes down Vlad, he could demand Bruce’s return as part of the bargain.
Tim’s plan goes awry when he’s blasted with ectoplasm during an altercation, which leaves him vulnerable to the strange aura of the realms. His life force begins to drain, and he’s rushed to Frostbite’s domain for care. Panic sets in because his plan isn’t completed, and the pressure causes him to blurt out that he’s come to propose a deal to Danny. But he fumbles the words, not realizing what he’s implying.
The misunderstanding spirals out of control. Tim believes he’s asking Danny for an alliance, but Danny’s court interprets this as Tim proposing marriage. In a frantic attempt to clarify things, Danny blurts out that he’s already in a courtship—with Peter.
Tim, confused but intrigued, takes one look at Peter (the “pretty boy” in question) and casually says, “I don’t mind sharing.”
In the Infinite Realms, relationships of this nature are binding—and the realms themselves interpret Tim’s words as consent to begin the courtship process. Now, Danny is trapped in a situation where, if he doesn't follow through with the courtship (and marriage), his core could shatter, causing the Realms to collapse.
Danny, now trying to keep his new “court” intact, is caught in an increasingly complicated political and personal web. He has to decide his feelings for both Peter and Tim while also trying to maintain control of the Infinite Realms. The Ghost Zone’s stability is at stake, and there’s the looming threat of Vlad’s power grab.
As the stakes get higher, Tim, Peter, and Danny form an unlikely alliance. Tim continues to investigate Vlad’s manipulation of the assassins, and Peter starts to use his genius to help stabilize Danny’s leadership—and potentially help them figure out a way to stop Vlad. And danny? Danny falls hard

Death, Rebirth and Is Sylus an Origo Core?
Following the most recent main story update, Death & Rebirth, there have been speculations that Sylus is also an Origo core. The reasons?
Both Sylus and the MC have aether cores
Because of what Sylus said in Long-Awaited Revelry (“We are kindred spirits”)
Because of what he said in Magnum Opus about them being flowers that were meant to grow together in the same soil
Before I give you my take on this, let’s consider the question: What exactly is an Origo core?
In a nutshell: it is an infinite, self-sustaining energy source—think of it as a cosmic battery that powers the cycle of creation and destruction.
This is important because once you understand the nature of the MC’s powers, you will understand why Sylus is probably not one.
Now, let’s address each argument:
Both Sylus and the MC have aether cores: True, but this doesn’t mean their aether cores are identical. To give you an analogy, lions and tigers belong to the same genus but that doesn’t mean they’re the same animal. Hers is located in her heart and crucially, we are told it is unstable. His, on the other hand, is stabilized in the eye.
Another, and perhaps the most important detail: the Origo core is tied to collapse and rebirth. That is why the MC is able to reincarnate. Repeatedly. Sylus’ aether core is powerful but it is tied to desire perception and possibly his draconic powers, not rebirth.
And here’s something that you might be unaware of if you’re not familiar with Chinese fantasy (xianxia/xuanhuan) tropes and world-building rules: dragons cannot reincarnate. They can live for tens of thousands of years but they do not reincarnate. Once they die, that’s it. They’re not coming back in another life.
In the dragon myth, Sylus’ soul was on the brink of annihilation (symbolized by his body turning into flower petals). The only way the MC could have saved his soul from disappearing was by cursing him (“Only I can grant you a true death”) and tethering his soul to hers. In other words, he is alive because of her curse, not because he can reincarnate.
That said, despite turning into a dragon at the end of the myth, the MC is still able to reincarnate. Why is that? Might it not have something to do with the fact that the Origo core was already dormant in her at the time?
2. “We are kindred spirits”: Frankly, this could mean any number of things. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re identical down to the last atom.
3. The flower quote in Magnum Opus: My interpretation of this is that they made a pact to escape together in the Nebula Arena dimension, but something went wrong and they ended up being separated. I fail to see how this points to him being an Origo core as well.
I'm willing to entertain the possibility he might be one but for now, I remain skeptical because a) his powers are not tied to rebirth and b) he cannot reincarnate (unless the devs are playing fast and loose with xianxia cosmology but so far, that hasn't been the case.)
In sum, both Sylus and the MC may have aether cores, but their shared status makes them resonant, not identical. If anything, their dynamic can be summed up as such:
The MC is the core of the cosmos, but her soul is volatile and must be shielded to survive. Her aether core is reactive, emotional, unstable.
Sylus, with his eye-core, is the one who perceives and tracks desire — both in others and in her. His ether core is observational, fixed, and precise.
She is the star. He is the eye watching it across timelines.
They are not the same — but they are cosmically paired.

I was thinking about the old LN1 character bios and remembered the line about the Twins being "born to be chefs". Assuming their not native to Nowhere, this would mean they had some violent tendencies before becoming residents, like it was their destiny.
This then made think about the end of tson ep 3 where Otto says the something like "Our world isn't the only world, let alone the predominant one".
All this made me realize that the worlds other than Nowhere may have been created by it (The Nowhere is implied to be sentient in it's own right) specifically to create concepts and injustices that could be used to warp and traumatize children, turning them into visitors and then into residents.
Thoughts?
Alright so this is a great question that I think leads to a much larger discussion about how the Nowhere operates. I would like to hear what other peeps think as well.
So, starting from the Chefs. Personally I always assumed that they are part of that group of characters who are from the Nowhere because of the way their description is worded (and also their baby pictures... this one is so cute lowkey...)

--- But following your train of thought: considering what we know of the Nowhere, it seems to amplify certain characteristics of a person, usually the bad ones. Two kids who are a bit propense to get into fights in the waking world may very well become blood thirsty maniacs in the Nowhere.
Interestingly, the modification of traits does not only apply to personality but also the body -- and usually, the physical changes are in relation back to said traits. For example, the Teacher - someone who is known to be controlling - can extend her neck infinitely to look everywhere and have the ability to blink removed to make sure she's always watching. The Doctor, a perfectionist with tons of authority, is always looking down on people while also growing enormous to match his ego. So on and so forth, you can follow this reasoning for a large number of the Residents we meet.
I think other timelines derivating from the Nowhere is definitely a possibility, as we don't know much of how the universes work there.
The general theory of a multiverse irl is that no timeline has any specific weight or importance over others; they are all parallel no matter how different, with no timeline being "the real one". This is if we view the Nowhere under the lens of it being a separate dimension. In TSON, the Nowhere is kind of implied to be sucking the people most vulnerable to it right in, so perhaps the idea Otto has of it the predominant world stems from the fact that he can't explain his fascination with it... or from a real, genuine desire to somehow "return" to the original land, if that's where the other timelines originated from.
HOWEVER, I would like to offer an alternative perspective on this --- based on what I found out during my research on the Ladies. Yup we're going there again
Rather than the characters themselves, this time I'm going to refer to a symbolism that is very prominent in their lore: Buddhism. More specifically the references to the six planes of existance, and how those can be tied back to Little Nights in a loose way. As stated in this site:
" The six realms of rebirth are a schema in which beings are reborn according to the kind of life they lived. [...] The animal realm, in which inhabitants are driven by basic needs, is one of the three “lower” realms. The other two are the hell realm, a place of constant suffering and torment, and the realm of the hungry ghosts, grasping beings who are never satisfied. The three “higher” realms are the human realm [...] the demigod realm [...] and the god realm, where beings enjoy a life of pleasure. It’s important to note that some Buddhists view the realms as literally real, while others interpret them psychologically as metaphors for the emotional states of the human condition. "
(Click on the link to read the whole thing; I only highlighted the parts I think are relevant to this conversation :] )
What I believe specifically relates back to the Nowhere are the three lower realms, from which the place itself may be loosely inspired by because of how its inhabitants are described.

All of these are things we see in Little Nights from various Residents, depending on the social class and place. It is important to note that while these realms are placed in different hierarchies due to quality of life, they all cohexist together without necessarily being more important than each other as they all have the same purpose in the end.
If the worlds of Little Nights operate in a similar way, then what we're looking at is not really a case of dimension hopping, but rather a passage from a plane of existance to the next. A forced one at that, at least in the case of Noone.
Now, considering Otto's assumption, the idea of the Nowhere being a predominant realm only popped up because he was trying to wrap his head around it and how Noone felt, but to tell you the truth, it is a rather baseless assumption considering he's never been there and is only experiencing it in a very limited way. However... considering how many children from different places in time and space have experienced the Nowhere, sometimes even simultaneously, I wouldn't say that it's completely wrong to assume that the place might be the "original plane of existance".
Now. Reflecting on what you said at the very end, I would like to ask a question back: do you think the Nowhere is, hypothetically, only capable of bringing out the worst in people inherently? Or is it only acting this way because humanity itself is more easily conditioned to fall victim to their bad traits?
I've been recently thinking about it because of the Maw. The writer of Little Nightmares, Mr. Mervik, has stated multiple times over the years that the place has not always been the way that it is; at the same time, he also said that it was not man made, but rather created by collective hunger/desire to be fed. These two things don't make sense together unless you assume the Maw was not originally born for the Guests and the whole cannibal business, but rather from a desire of shelter. A need to be fed. Which is not inherently a bad thing -- and it would explain why the structure itself is so largely built to house so many people, and why children still feel relatively safe in it to this day.
So I find myself thinking that perhaps, the Maw degenerated overtime because the people inside of it (cough its leaders cough) did. And if this is the case for the Maw, who's to say it's not the same for other places? The Nest, for example? The School, the Hospital... etc. But. It is also true that the creatures who inhabit the Nowhere (the Ferryman, the North Wind, the Flesh...) all seem to have their own interests and destructive amusement more at heart than anything. If these creatures are what move the large of the Nowhere (which I guess they are considering the eye symbol is all over the goddman place), then the human will can't really do much.
That being said, I am wondering currently if it could be possible for the Nowhere to bring out something good from a person in the right situation. At the same time, the hopes are incredibly slim. Nonexistent, actually, but it's nice to think about hypothetics.

Response to Death Battle's Bowser vs. Dr. Eggman: Part 3/3 - Analysing the Match-up
Welcome to part 3/3 of my response to Death Battle. This part will focus on my providing my own analysis of the match-up, and my conclusion at the very end of it. If you watched the whole episode, you’ll know that this absolutely required its own dedicated part just to focus on. For the sake of a fair analysis, this will operate on the same standards that Death Battle themselves operate, rather than my usual methods (assuming you’ve seen it prior).
You can find part 1 here, and part 2 here.
This is probably the absolute hardest Mario vs. Sonic MU to decide on. Both sides have so many options, it’s dizzying, and any side could pull out a win from just unveiling one of their strongest weapons at the right time.
In fact, these instant win weapons are so numerous on both sides, that it turns the strength advantage, usually a major factor in any fight, into merely another number on the list of victory conditions. As such, while I will still provide my own strength calculations, I’ll primarily be focused on each of these trump cards, and what options the opposing army has in stopping them – alongside how both combatants could leverage these trump cards.
Let’s first list out the actual trump cards both sides have, just to make things clear:
Bowser:
Castle Bowser – can warp reality on a universal level, given enough time to charge up.
Dream Stone – can erase people from existence, and if broken its pieces can be consumed for Dreamy Bowser, which empowers him based on how many dreams he can absorb – potentially a raw power option if it can absorb enough dreams.
Fury Bowser – can mind control and corrupt others while he’s active in the form, alongside sending people to another world, and lastly invulnerability negation. Requires Bowser Jr.’s paint brush.
Star Rod – can grant wishes and is on par with the Star Spirits, who created the Dream Depot.
Painting (King Boo) – sealing. Anyone who gets trapped in this cannot escape.
Several ghosts – operating under King Boo, their release can destabilise the dimension.
Mind control.
Power Stars & Grand Stars – raw power.
Pure Hearts – raw power (but even more), invulnerability negation.
Eggman:
Metal Virus – transmutes any organic member infected by it into a metal zombie.
Finalised Phantom Ruby Prototype – can create tangible illusions (effectively reality warping) that only affect those the user wants to affect, alongside inverting gravity, creating an infinite army, and banishing others to Null Space (which blocks dimensional travel) – has 4 copies.
Phantom Ruby (original) – the same as above, except it provides its own power source. All Phantom Rubies can only be used by those with enough willpower, which amongst Eggman’s army includes Eggman himself, Infinite, Metal Sonic, and the Hardboiled Heavies.
Modified Phantom Ruby Prototype – can modify memories alongside the above’s effects, designed to alter the planet’s memories – has 2 copies. Can create infinitely sized areas via his Egg Fields, and thus has infinite range.
The Chaos Emeralds – just… so many things. Including raw power.
Mind Control Cannon – mind control.
Jewelled Sceptre – raw power (again).
Reverie – turns dreams into reality (aka real reality warping).
Sol Emeralds – they’re like the Chaos Emeralds.
Cyber Space (Sage) – can trap people within, separating their bodies and soul, and even (slowly) corrupt anyone who tries to save them. Even if they can escape, they’ll be left involuntarily intangible.
Time Eater – space-time erasure (and by proxy, existence erasure), raw power (yet again).
Supreme – raw power (constant showings of raw power).
Now all of these tools should – in theory – be able to instantly end the battle, or at bare minimum instantly remove the opposing side’s standard army, leaving it to just the main 2 to duke it out. However, a vast majority of these trump cards has at least 1 method of dealing with them, usually multiple. These are all of the checks and counters to those trump cards mentioned above (if you’re familiar with competitive Pokemon, those terms should be familiar to you – a check is anything that can prevent an opposing tool from working once it’s actively on the field, while a counter is either outright immunity or can be brought on after the fact to counteract it).
Bowser’s checks & counters:
Transmutation magic (Bowser, Kamek) – can counter the Metal Virus, and can check the Phantom Rubies, Jewelled Sceptre, Reverie, Mind Control Cannon, and Time Eater. Cannot counter the Chaos Emeralds, as the latter are not only able to undo their own transmutation, but still work even while transmutated.
Reality warping (Castle Bowser, Bowser to a lesser extent) – checks the Phantom Rubies’ own reality warping; Jewelled Sceptre, Reverie, the Time Eater, and Supreme. Counters the Mind Control Cannon.
Item theft (Kamek) – checks the Phantom Rubies, Jewelled Sceptre, Reverie, and Time Eater. Because of the presence of both the Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds, attempting to steal either of them without knowing how to control them will destabilise the universe, and Eggman’s knowledge on this fact will prompt him to leave the universe immediately while Bowser’s side dies, letting him gain a technical win. Phantom Rubies will not work for Eggman’s side when stolen. Some of Eggman’s items can check his trump cards.
Power nullification (Kamek) – can check everything except the Metal Virus and Sage, especially the Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds. While both can be restored by positive emotions, Eggman has never done so himself, and likely can’t due to his poor genuine leadership skills combined with his immense ego; leaving Sage as the only positive bond he has in this fight. Counters the Mind Control Cannon, as it does not function without Hyper-Go-On.
Illusions (King Boo, maybe Kamek) – since the Phantom Rubies are all illusion-based, counteracting the illusions should be a functional check to them.
Bowser’s computer brain (Bowser) – yeah his computer brain. It can restore his memories, allowing Bowser (albeit only Bowser) to counter the memory altering effects of the Modified Phantom Ruby Prototype.
Minion Spirit – makes Bowser’s army immune to mind control from sheer loyalty, if they’re devoted enough. Should also apply to Bowser himself, and is thus a check to both the Metal Virus and the Mind Control Cannon.
Existence erasure (Dream Stone) – is a soft check to everything Eggman can bring out, albeit it’s possible for Eggman to send Metal Sonic, or a Replica of Metal Sonic or Shadow into White Space to search for and restore whatever has been erased, if Eggman’s forces can stall for long enough.
Data immersion (King Boo) – is a very soft counter to Sage, by virtue of being the only individual who can directly deal with her when she’s not piloting Supreme. Cannot check Supreme directly, as Sage was unable to hack any of the Titans and could only pilot Supreme because it had no pilot.
Invulnerability negation (the Pure Hearts) – can negate invulnerability granted by the Chaos/Sol Emeralds.
Raw Power & restoration (the Pure Hearts) – can counter Eggman’s strongest weapons by virtue of equivalent power and counteracting space-time erasure (assuming finite values).
Eggman’s checks & counters:
That weird illusion/selective reality manipulation (the Phantom Rubies) – can check Castle Bowser (and Bowser’s reality manipulation), the Dream Stone, and Fury Bowser.
Reality warping (Reverie) – can check Castle Bowser, the Dream Stone, Fury Bowser, and the Star Rod.
Memory Manipulation – can check everything that doesn’t come from Bowser himself, and even remove some of Bowser’s own checks and counters such as Minion Spirit or his allies.
Dimensional travel (Chaos Control, Sage, potentially the Phantom Rubies) – can counter anyone being removed from the battlefield by Fury Bowser.
Item theft (Forcejewels) – can unreliably check the Wonder Flowers, Dream Stone, Star Rod, Power Stars, Grand Stars, and Pure Hearts. Some of Bowser’s items can check other items of his.
Mind Control Cannon – can unreliably check King Boo’s painting sealing, by forcing King Boo to undo the effect. Not guaranteed to work, given the potential of true minion spirit, but given there is no indication King Boo is particularly loyal it should be more likely to work than not. Even if Eggman is taken out, Sage can use the mind control cannon on King Boo to undo it.
Sage – given she’s not a physical entity and is really on the EggNet, she should be able to ignore Kamek’s mind control and send Eggman out of range to command his troops from afar, or take direct control of Eggman’s army – a check.
Neo Metal Sonic – his bio-data copying means that he can become immune to any check/counter that comes from an innate ability of any of the Koopa Troop, which can potentially counter many of Bowser’s own checks and counters.
Damage transfer (rings) – checks Bowser’s Power Stars, Grand Stars, and Pure Hearts, as they allowed base Sonic to survive hits from The End, a being more powerful than even Solaris and Time Eater.
Shield (Sage) – is able to block hits from even The End, serving as a check to the Power Stars and even Pure Hearts.
Raw power (Chaos Emeralds, Jewelled Sceptre, Sol Emeralds, Time Eater, Supreme) counters Bowser’s Power Stars and the Pure Hearts (assuming peak values).
That’s a lot, isn’t it? But if you noticed, everything has at least 1 check or 1 counter to it, no matter how unreliable that check/counter actually is.
Some highlights include:
The Chaos/Sol Emeralds are only checked by Kamek and the Dream Stone, and attempting to steal them will in fact force a tie from the resulting destruction and destabilisation.
Kamek alone checks so many of Eggman’s trump cards that he’ll end up becoming a priority target as the battle goes on.
Metal Sonic, if he’s not shut down by Kamek, can continue to copy more and more of Bowser’s powers based off of the bio-data of him and his army, which means that with enough time he can gain a majority of the checks and counters that Bowser’s army has, and gain immunity from them as a result (albeit that likely came too late for it to influence the result of the Death Battle).
Sage, due to being part of the EggNet/Cyerbspace, can only be checked by the Dream Stone and King Boo, meaning she’ll become a top priority to deal with by the end of the battle. Piloting Supreme ironically makes her more vulnerable, given that if Supreme is destroyed while she’s piloting it she’ll die too.
Bowser’s computer brain is the only true method Bowser has to deal with the modified Phantom Ruby’s memory manipulation, and he’ll need to get rid of it as soon as possible if he doesn’t want his allies turning against him.
Supreme is the most dangerous of the raw power weapons on Eggman’s army, as it came in pre-charged and doesn’t need continued use of the Chaos Emeralds unless it were to get its power drained, and is invulnerable to conventional damage.
Altogether, the sheer volume of weapons plus the fact that every single one of them has the potential to be stopped in its tracks with the right set up means that ultimately this duel is going to come down to a quick draw – who can pull off a broken win condition first. Which, of course, means that stats is the next most important factor to bring up.
And I’ll be bringing out stats twice for each side, a calculated finite value, and their absolute peak.
Power:
Bowser (base):
Finite: 2.28012318407×10^108 Foe – Can defeat Culex, who claimed – after gaining a 3rd dimensional form – to be capable of destroying all of time and space. Assuming this would destroy the entire universe at every single moment in time down to the Planck time, and assuming the universe is as old as ours from Big Bang to present, this is the value required to destroy the universe. Mario (and by proxy Bowser) has gotten stronger since then.
Peak: Infinite – could defeat Culex, who claimed to be capable of destroying all of time and space.
Power Stars & Grand Stars:
Finite: 8.05115087719×10^50 Foe – 284 Power Stars/Grand Stars, with one possessing enough power to destroy the universe. Likely lower, as Power Stars are weaker than Grand Stars.
Peak: Infinite – unspecified boost from every single Power Star and Grand Star.
Pure Hearts
Finite: 2.28012318407×10^108 Foe – their amp allowed Bowser to defeat foes amplified by the Chaos Heart – which is strong enough to destroy the entire space-time of a universe (same as the Culex finite feat). Much higher to an unquantifiable degree, as every universe should bring back a roughly equivalent value.
Peak: Infinite multiverse – could threaten the entire Mario multiverse.
Eggman (base mechs):
Finite: 1.4125×10^48 Foe – can fight with Sonic, who while weakened could defeat the Erazor Djinn empowered by half of the World of the Arabian Nights, which should be comparable to a universe given it resembles Earth and has stars. Sonic has gotten stronger since then, and Eggman constantly upgrades his machines to match.
Peak: Infinite/2 – the World of the Arabian Nights includes an infinitely sized location, which should make the whole universe infinite in size.
Chaos Emeralds:
Finite: 2.28012318407×10^108 Foe – Solaris could destroy the entire space-time of a universe (same as the finite Culex feat). Much higher to an unquantifiable degree, as every universe should bring back a roughly equivalent value.
Peak: Infinite 4th dimensional multiverse – Solaris could threaten the entire Sonic multiverse (Maginaryworld is explicitly confirmed to be 4th dimensional, and when the (weaker) Paradox Prism shattered Sonic’s prime universe into the Shatterverse, it was divided into multiple universe sized spaces with separate space-times and ended with restoring the original universe within the Shatterverse, suggesting that a universe is a higher dimensional construct housing one or more 3rd dimensional spaces within).
Now that was power, and as you can see who’s stronger depends on whether we’re using finite values or infinite values (Bowser handily taking the advantage in the prior category, Eggman taking the advantage in the latter). But as I said before, raw power is not important in this fight, and merely a bullet point on the list of ways they could win.
The real important stat is speed, and well...
Speed:
Bowser:
Finite: 24,450,000,000,000,000 C (24.45 quadrillion times the speed of light) – Mario flew to the trial galaxies – located at the edge of the universe with a launch star (and back with a Power Star), and can react at these speeds (as evidenced by landing on his feet and picking up star bits on the way) – given this happens before Mario rescues Peach from Bowser, each trip should take no more than 6 hours to make, but I’ll be generous and claim it took 1 minute.
I know Death Battle claimed this trip took 3 seconds, but there’s a loading screen both to and from the Trial Galaxies, and when the loading screen ends Mario is already back at the observatory – and the trip to the galaxy features a menu while Mario is flying at high speeds (as evidenced by the moving speed lines), which doesn’t have any time limit to the player selecting the Star, making the true time frame hard to accurately verify.
Peak: 24,450,000,000,000,000 C (24.45 quadrillion times the speed of light) – Mario flew to the trial galaxies – located at the edge of the universe with a launch star (and back with a Power Star), and can react at these speeds (as evidenced by landing on his feet and picking up star bits on the way).
Eggman:
Finite: 48,900,000,000,000,000 C (48.9 quadrillion times the speed of light) – Time Eater erased the entire universe in seconds. Even though we see Shadow sent to White Space in the time it took to raise his hands, and Sonic’s chilli dog landed back in his hand instead of landing on the ground after he defeated the Time Eater, I’ll be strict and assume a 30 second time span. Eggman was piloting the Time Eater, and Classic Sonic and Shadow could each react to this feat happening to them, so by all accounts this should scale to Eggman’s reaction time (and the reaction time of his post-Generations machines). In addition, later in Frontiers base Sonic could react to the Titans, who are themselves empowered by the Chaos Emeralds.
Peak: Immeasurable – regularly battles Sonic, who could restore areas erased from time by the Time Eater with his raw speed.
… Oh. Even with being generous towards Bowser, and strict towards Eggman, Eggman still ended up faster. You could argue that I could be even more generous towards Bowser, or even more strict towards Eggman – and that’s true – however, the opposite is true as well.
If we treat both these feats as generously as possible Eggman’s speed feat should still be extremely close to Bowser’s, enough to have little relevance, while if we treat both of them as strictly as possible Mario’s half-universal trip has a lot more potential time to cross than Sonic’s chilli dog flight.
All of this, of course, while ignoring the fact that Shadow Generations just provided a better speed feat than before with no ambiguity, showing Time Eater erasing the universe in 12 seconds – and no loading screen, so the timeframe is exact. This likely wouldn’t be added into the voiceover, but would absolutely make it into the analysis & black boxes given information from Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood made it in.
And that’s just talking about the finite values, once we delve into their hypothetical peaks that speed advantage just gets exaggerated, and Eggman just speed blitzes Bowser’s entire army and wins for free.
If we exclusively discuss in terms of finite values then Bowser’s strong enough to one shot anything that isn’t a Super tier in base, but only his Pure Hearts form is strong enough to contend with those Super tiers. This raw power gap would also prompt Eggman to rely on his trump cards far quicker than usual (something he already tends to go for), making an incredibly close match, but ultimately one that Eggman should come out on top for.
This in addition to Sage being able to make millions of calculations in a short time span, whose battle strategy is said by Sage herself to be on focusing on the best method of survival, and whose intelligence surpasses even Eggman’s, thanks to her AI nature and being integrated with the Ancients’ Cyber Space.
Or in other words…
Eggman wins.
Thank you for reading my 3 part response to Death Battle – or at least reading any one of my 3 parts, I hope you enjoyed this deep dive into the match-up, and I hope Death Battle going independent means that they can continue to push and evolve the show even further beyond what it’s been this last decade.
Happy independence!

Across The Spider-Verse’s Trolley Problem
Okay, it pisses me off that Miguel is constantly written off as a villain when he’s literally trying to prevent the death of several billion people.
I know what you’re thinking, and we’ll get to that, but please hear me out.
Miles’ situation is a trolley problem. You’ve probably heard of it, but in case you haven’t, it goes like this:

“A runaway trolley car is careening down a track. Five people stand in its path, unaware of the imminent threat. You stand at the intersection of two different tracks and could, if you chose to, divert the trolley onto another track where only one person would be killed. Do you divert the trolley, intentionally killing one to save five?”
In Miles’ case, it’s one dad vs the entire web of life a destiny. Do you let the trolley flatten your dad in order to save an infinite number of realities-worth of people?
Miguel is saying yes. Miguel’s stance isn’t “let your dad die because fuck you” it’s “I know this sucks, but it’s the lesser of two very bad evils, and the greater evil is WAY worse.”
From Miguel’s point of view, Miles is saying “Nah, my one dad is worth sacrificing countless lives for.” Miles, in reality, is saying “I’ll find a way to stop the trolley before I even have to think about pulling any levers.” But as far as Miguel is concerned, that isn’t even an option. Nobody can stop the trolley. It’s one or the other, with no magical third option. Fully populated dimensions are going to die because this kid would rather watch the multiverse collapse when he fails to change how things fundamentally work (like Miguel also did!) instead of deal with losing just one person, like every other spider-person has.
“You have a choice between saving one person or an entire world. Every world.”
Miles’ insistence that there’s some secret third option that Miguel somehow doesn’t know about despite all his research and “Believe me, I have tried. And the harder I tried, the more damage I did.” is what’s creating the divide.
Miguel isn’t a bad guy who wants Jefferson dead. Miguel is a good guy who doesn’t want an unfathomable number of innocents to perish. He’s limiting what are (as far as he knows) unavoidable casualties by pulling the lever.

Transcending Dimensions: Exploring Potentiality in the Quantum Realm
The endless abyss of potentiality is the womb of all existence, encompassing both the tangible and the potential. Just as a flickering candle disperses darkness, consciousness sheds light upon the uncharted depths of the subconscious. It is unfortunate that our innate inclination is to seek solace within the confines of familiarity. Letting go of the known threatens to unravel our perception of reality, compelling us to desperately cling to our established beliefs. We cannot let go of what we know as it would disrupt our perception of what we know as reality, so we desperately cling to our belief systems, it is all we know. We are deeply unsettled and disturbed by the idea of the unknown… death is a classic example of this. Are these tendencies our greatest hindrance?
The double-slit experiment, a cornerstone of quantum mechanics, invites us to question the nature of reality itself. This experiment can be a contentious one, but it truly does disrupt the foundation of what we know about reality. Matter can operate as particles or waves depending on who is watching... the observer and the observed do not appear to be separate entities but intertwined participants that are the foundation of the reality we perceive. Quantum entanglement, another marvel of the quantum world, transcends the confines of classical logic, it beautifully illustrates the interconnectedness that pervades the universe. It opens our minds to a reality beyond our grasp, where particles communicate instantaneously across vast distances, defying the constraints of space and time.
These are two profound examples of a realm we don’t yet understand. Perhaps we don’t understand the quantum world because we cannot yet perceive why these particles act a certain way in our current paradigm. In a 2D world, a stick person would perceive a three-dimensional object, such as a sphere, as a series of changing 2D shapes, like expanding and shrinking circles, depending on their perspective and position relative to the object. In our current reality, we perceive the world in 3D, but what if we had the cognitive capacity to perceive it in 4D? Perhaps we could understand the mechanics of this "spooky action at a distance” (Einstein), and therefore, ask the questions that are more appropriate to it’s multidimensional nature. This is speculative and hypothetical, but I can’t help but contemplate this idea.
If we aren’t open to new paradigms, the questions we ask will always be limited. What if, by shedding the limitations of certainty and embracing the fluidity of uncertainty, we could break free from the cyclical patterns that have disempowered humanity throughout history? What if, instead of clinging to our egos and rigid belief systems, we allowed ourselves to be swept away by the currents of curiosity and wonder? I do believe it would transform our current scientific model. In this paradigm-shifting thought, scientists become not mere seekers of knowledge, but explorers of consciousness itself. By transcending the limitations of linear thinking and embracing a multidimensional perspective, they may unearth deeper truths about the underlying fabric of reality.
When do we collectively choose to transcend our narrow, self-centered human existence and venture into the vast, abundant, and empowering abyss of infinite potential?

0D = dot (zero dimensions). 1D = The line that was drawn from the dot now has 2 dots (2 zero dimensions). 2D = The square has lines on all of its 4 sides (4 one-dimensions) 3D = The cube that we drew from this square has squares on all of its 6 sides (6 two dimensions) If we follow the same order… then the fourth dimension should have 8 cubes (4D = 8 x 3D) The fourth dimension should have 8 three dimensions. If we draw according to this, this is the shape of the 4th dimension. This shape is known as Tesseract. A Tesseract has 8 cubes in it. In geometry, as we increase the number of dimensions, their shapes will get more and more complicated to understand using our eyes. Illustration and Information from Santhosh Kumar D, Digitash.
The double-slit experiment is a fundamental experiment in quantum mechanics that demonstrates the wave-particle duality of quantum entities, such as electrons or photons. It involves shooting particles one at a time towards a barrier with two slits, which results in an interference pattern on a screen behind the barrier, suggesting that the particles exhibit wave-like behavior. This experiment highlights the bizarre nature of quantum mechanics, where particles can behave as both waves and particles simultaneously.

Time
Users can control and manipulate time, the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, into the future, in the general area or for a specific target in various ways, with the most basic of acts revolving around accelerating, slowing, stopping, and even rewinding or looping it. The range of the affected area is proportional to the mastery of the user, with those at higher levels being able to affect the entire space-time continuum.
Time is, alongside Energy, Destruction, Darkness, Space, Light, Void, Creation, Life and Death, one of the Ten Primordial Magics.
It has one sub-element, Continuum
Limitations:
Users of Temporal Lock, Omnilock, Spatial-Temporal Lock, Spatial-Temporal Transcendence and Temporal Transcendence are immune to this power.
May have limited ability in both the length of time and area they can affect.
Astral plane is immune due to timelessness unless user has Astral Plane Lordship
Control, discipline, and restraint are extremely important. Unconscious, emotion-influenced, impulsive, or reckless use of this power can be catastrophic.
Without the knowledge or proper skill, the intended use of such magic can create unpredictable or potentially dangerous results.
A given time, space, location, individual, object, dimension, etc. may have a limited number of times and/or ways in which it can be manipulated before "breaking", "tearing", or ceasing to exist.
May confuse the user (or users) about what happened when they are sent back in a previous moment via time rewind.
Time spells
Time manipulation - accelerate, Slow and/or Stop time for others while being able to move freely, simulate Enhanced/Supernatural Reflexes, Enhanced/Supernatural Speed and Teleportation
Probability Perception and Manipulation - perceive and manipulate the probability of anything
Time Travel - travel back and forth through time, either via own’s power or by using an object
Physical Restoration - heal one’s or people’s by rewinding their wounds
Time Attacks - bend time to inflict damage
Duration Manipulation - manipulate the durability of objects
Chronomancy - perceive the future and/or the past.
Psychometry - perceive the memories of people or objects by touching them
Alternate Future Display - watch all the possible timelines
Temporal Looping - create temporal loops
Infinite Supply - use time powers to create infinite supplies
Chronoscience - know everything about time and everything related to it.

Ah fuck it I'm gonna be funny, unfortunately the Marvel brain has kicked in
I have had a Theory since, very soon after ATSV came out, about how to defeat the Spot. I would simply like to get it down and, y'know, maybe have some feedback from others :3
To start, we need to look at 3 specific worlds: Strange's What If (s1 e4), the second Miguel's (the one who died), and Pav's.
Each one has had what are separate events that can coalesce, a "canon event" and an "incursion". A canon event is a specific moment that is embedded into someone's story, whether a loved one's death, someone getting powers, or losing them, what have you, usually there's a few worlds that share that fate in some capacity. I, however, am going to be focusing on the "loved one's death" canon event, as that triggers a major catastrophe known as an incursion.
An incursion is a mass of void that consumes and destroys a whole universe after something goes wrong with the timeline. But why? Why would someone dying cause this?
It's, actually not someone dying that's the issue. It's someone being saved that is. Hence why I mentioned the three worlds at the beginning: Strange saves Christine; Miguel replaces himself; Miles saves inspector Singh. None of these were supposed to happen, in the moment, a canon event was disrupted, and an incursion occurred due to the presence of life where there shouldn't be. And because of this, two of three worlds were destroyed, with only a couple survivors who've lived to tell the tale (how many universes have been lost this way, that we don't know of..?)
Two of three. As far as we know, Pav's world still exists, somewhat. All we saw in the film was them containing the incursion, we didn't see the outcome - sometimes they're lucky, sometimes they're not. They have the technology to be able to stop this, and have been doing it for a while, it seems.
So how does that work? On god, I don't know. But I can make a guess.
From observation (and, from memory, what Spot said in his apartment), I'm inclined to believe the material, that void that consumes the dimension, is dark matter. The particle collider sort of makes it - when Miles in the first movie had his head shoved into it, he saw the whole spiderverse, which is also what we saw during the second film when he travels to Mumbhattan through Gwen's portal. Perhaps some optimised collider technology is what powers the watches, to allow for multiverse travel?
Which is also what Spot has done, except in biological form - taken dark matter and used it to his advantage where he originally thought it to be a curse. And that's what he's made of, the same stuff that inherently destroys worlds when one person lives if they're supposed to be dead.
When I googled, ages ago, how to defeat Spot, all the articles claimed that he had one weakness: number of spots. As soon as he ran out, bam, done and dusted. But, this Spot has an infinite number of spots, portals across the entire plain of existence. How do you defeat that?
And the actual theory: The technology used to contain an incursion, can also be used to contain the Spot and stop him from Plague Inc-ing the web of universes. It'd be incredibly tricky, as it isn't meant to be used to contain something living, and Spot could absolutely break the equipment if needs be, but it could work.
Obviously, I don't know if this will change Jeff's fate. They've already established that entire canons can be switched if an anomaly does something dumb (which is Spot, to clarify, as he brought the spider from 42 into 1610-B in the first place), or does just about the right thing (Gwen accidentally making her dad quit, thereby removing his canon event as "captain who perishes"). Depends on how much Spot fucks things up, I guess.
As an objective observer with no skin in the game, Miguel just needs to step up his game and realise who the true villain is - if he weren't so hellbent on chasing Miles, then perhaps he could control the root cause of his problems. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long to find out...
#i am ok with waiting like 5 years tho#so long as the workers aren't crunched </3#marvel#atsv#itsv#what if#we love various theories and brain moments#i've had this for nearly a year but i haven't seen any popular posts mentioning#ANYTHING close to what i've thought#people were probably too focused on miguel's ass and villainising him jfkdhf#(he is simply an antagonist trying to do what's right to him. blindsiding himself tho)

@dynamoprotocol sent:
“…Hey.” Chance’s fingers twitch within the cradle of Morty’s palms, before...with a little concerted effort...he manages to close his grip in turn around his young companion’s hand. Rather than a reassuring squeeze, the older man's scarred digits only manage a light press against Morty’s skin, which feels hot with teen boy heat and hormones and fear. Chance's own skin is clammy and cool, vacant of its usual aura of electric warmth.
His complexion, already pallid and drained of its usual vibrant tone, is dulled further by the film of cold sweat that sticks strands of Chance's wild blue hair to his forehead, the wisp of breath past his cracked lips slow and shallow. Chance doesn’t have to see himself to picture how he must look from Morty’s perspective, not when he can see it so clearly in the kid’s face.
“You’re still here? For fuck's sake, Morty. It's been hours.”
Fighting the heaviness in his limbs, Chance rolls onto his side. His lungs bristle and burn with the effort and for a second the nightmare sensation grips him with the threat that he’s going to start choking again...likely bloodying the sheets as the nanobots ravaging his system attack his chest wall. A tiny spasm of pain tweaks through him as another wave of his body’s electricity is immediately siphoned greedily away by the parasitic little bastards whose damage his body is spinning its wheels uselessly to heal, only making the invaders stronger.
He makes it onto one side without vomiting up a lung. Chance reaches across the bedsheets with his free hand, fighting the concrete heaviness of his body to embrace the back of Morty’s palm with the reassuring embrace of his own. It’s clear the kid hasn’t moved since Chance fell asleep with Morty holding his hand...carefully, so not to disturb the IV lines draping out from Chance’s arm.
Perhaps it was no surprise, really, that Morty had felt like he’d had to stay. Chance remembers the fuss he’d kicked up when the one of his partners had tried to get a needle into him. He’s too exhausted to feel embarrassed over Morty having had to watch a grown man refuse his arm and get angry to the point of tears when in the moment, in his own head, he’d been back upon a whole different medical gurney.
Managing a slightly stronger squeeze of Morty’s hands, Chance gives Morty a close lipped smile. “Get out of here and go rest already, will you? I’ll be alright. Let Rick and Rick handle things.”
The hours had ticked away, more slowly than they normally would. Morty was no stranger to stressful waitings that left him wondering about the unpredictable outcome that laid ahead of him. Cruising the multiverse with Rick had taught him that existence was nothing but a chaos of equally likely possibilities. Even the ones that were unthinkable in one reality were normalcy in another.
When an infinite number of realities existed all at the same time, Schrödinger's cat was both alive and dead and everything in-between at the same time.
The teen rubbed his yes with his free hand, trying to chase away the tiredness that was making them sting. Once upon a time, that sort of reasoning would have confused the hell out of him. Nowadays? It was what his life was made of.
However, now none of it was of import. He didn't care about hypotheticals and alternative realities. All that mattered was the dimension he was currently him, in that specific moment, with that specific version of the man whose limp hand he had been holding for who knows how long. He couldn't have cared less of what was happening to other versions of Chance and other versions of himself.
Morty's lips curled slightly downwards. He wasn't even sure that he knew everything about what the other was going through. The Ricks had sort of explained the general lines to him and his boyfriend but, between the chaotic way their grandfathers talked when they were agitated and the fact that the two old bastards were obviously hiding something, it had been impossible for him to fully wrap his head around the whole ordeal.
All he knew, and it was all he needed to know, was that Chance was really sick and really miserable, and that he was being forced in a situation that was triggering who knows what old, never healed trauma. He might be just a teenager, and a dumb one according to the most, but if there was one thing he knew that was what panic looked on the face of a person who had been scarred deeply by life.
He had seen it too often in the mirror not to recognise it.
The sudden light pressure around his fingers startled the boy out of his gloomy thoughts and hazel eyes quickly lifted, locking on Chance's sweaty, sickly pale face. Under other circumstances he might have felt a little embarrassed for having been caught like this, but all his worried was focus on the man. He had none to spare for himself.
"I-I...It's not...I-I didn't have anything to do," Morty stuttered, not sure if he should make excuses for himself or apologise or whatnot. It had been a little creepy of him, to stay there staring for all that time. "I-I wanted...The Ricks are busy w-with...science stuff for the...treatment an-and you know how they get. I-I wanted to make sure that, uh, s-someone was here in case you needed something. O-Or if the IV needs to be replaced and...y-you know."
What he didn't say was that he hadn't felt like leaving, not with how terrified and pained Chance had looked. Even if he was sure that the Ricks were monitoring him assiduously, he would have felt like the biggest asshole ever to leave the other alone like that. He might not be sure of what role Chance had in his life, in his family, but the truth was that he had grown attached to that badass cool aunt figure turned into a badass cool uncle figure.
Not to mention that they were also friends, or at least that was what it felt like to him.
"An-And it's not like...I-I'm not that tired."
That was huge lie and Chance was probably as aware of it as Morty himself was. After all, it was the middle of the night and, while the teen was used to having a fucked up sleeping schedule thanks to his adventure partner, it didn't mean that he wasn't affected by it.
"I-It's..." He started, but his voice trailed off and his expression turned troubled.
His eyes, which had been avoiding to look directly at the man's face as he struggled to lie on his side, finally met those electric blue globes. Even the colour of his irises looked spent, compared to the usual brilliance they had, as sunk and surrounded by dark circles as they were.
His lips drew in a thin line. Chance was trying to be strong so that he wouldn't worry, but Morty wasn't going to allow it. It was his turn to be strong and steady for the man's sake.
"I-I'll go...soon," he stated, in an adamant tone that showed that he had made up his mind and wouldn't change it. "FM...Uh, o-other me is coming here in a bit an-and he'll take my place, b-but...I'm still till he arrives. An-And yean, the Ricks are handling it an-and stuff, but they can't do their science properly i-if they are too worried about you. S-So, Morty and I will handle this part o-of the work for them."
His grip on Chance's hand tightened, to underline even more the fact that he wasn't going anywhere. No discussions allowed.
"G-Go back to sleep," he went on, in a softer tone. "I-If you can. Y-You're going to need all the strength y-you can get for the next round of...tests. W-We'll take care of you an-and everything will be fine."
At least, I hope.

They watched it for a bit before they started noticing more mirrors floating their way. Suddenly they were surrounded by an infinite number. Michael let go of the one he had and Lucifer looked around. "The book said to make it easier you have to think of exactly the dimension you want to find." He closed his eyes and tried to think of a dimension their own father was in. It seemed for a moment nothing was going to happen before the mirrors started to disappear. One floated up to Lucifer then and he opened his eyes, looking at it.
Frank walked along the halls of the school, waiting for the newcomers to arrive. No one could see him of course as he made himself invisible to their eyes. He looked at the doors as they opened and watched all the students ts start to walk inside. He moved over and started to look through them. Which one would be his next toy?
No matter how good the people here were, they seemed to always agree to having a demon at their side. Frank had been doing this for centuries and it never got old. He felt the energy he wanted and found the student it belonged to.

The Taygetan Revelation: Star Seeds, Orion Origins, and the Awakening Dream of Earth

You are not here by chance. You are part of a galactic unfolding—a sacred convergence of soul contracts, star wisdom, and planetary transformation. As the Earth transitions through a monumental shift in consciousness, the truth of our celestial ancestry begins to surface. The veil thins. The dream stirs. And the voice of the cosmos calls us home.
This message is encoded with star frequencies and higher-dimensional truth. Within it lies knowledge of the Taygetans, the Orions, the Star Seeds, and the Elohim—and the divine reason why you are on Earth right now.
Star Seeds on Earth: The Living Embers of the Stars
The Star Seeds are already here. They walk among us, awakening one by one in silent anticipation of what is soon to be revealed. These are not ordinary souls. These are celestial pioneers, light-bearers, and interstellar teachers who chose to incarnate in human form during this planetary transition.
Each Star Seed brings with them unique codes of creativity, healing, and transformation. We observe their incarnations from the higher realms, watching with awe as they move through the density of 3D existence—a reality that feels like a waking dream. It is in this dreamlike world that human stories are born and rewritten. Each life is a portal through which universal consciousness learns, evolves, and remembers itself.
Patience is essential in this journey. You must remember: time is an illusion. It is a fluid construct of the third dimension. In truth, everything is happening now. All timelines are converging. The movement is gaining momentum, and when the moment is right, everything will shift in the blink of an eye.
The Elohim Presence and the Rise of the Lightworkers
The Elohim races, creators of life and stewards of galactic order, are present throughout Earth’s energy field as planned. These divine architects have seeded civilizations and guided planets through evolution across eons. Their presence is not loud or forceful—it is gentle, vast, and infinitely loving.
Their arrival signals the rise of the Lightworkers—incarnated souls who carry divine frequency codes and represent their soul families on Earth. Many of you reading this are these Lightworkers. You are being activated. You are being called to stand in your truth, radiate light, and embody the sacred energy of your cosmic heritage.
Orion Star Beings: The Silent Giants in the Dream
This transmission carries a special message concerning the Orion soul lineage.
The Orions are here in large numbers, yet they remain mostly unrecognized. Why? Because many of them are still asleep within the dream. Their souls exist in a deep state of dormancy, not yet fully aware of their mission or cosmic identity. This is not failure—it is timing. Some will awaken soon. Others will stir when the Earth’s collective vibration rises enough to support their activation.
Their silence is not absence. It is strategic stillness, calibrated by higher intelligence.
Yet, it is time to unveil the truth of their presence and the dual nature of their energy.
The Orion Split: Power, Light, and the Great Shadow
Orion, known to its native souls as Olai, is centered around the red giant star Betelgeuse. The Orion lineage contains two distinct factions:
The Dark-Oriented Orions, many of whom incarnate on Earth in positions of control, politics, finance, and media. Their souls are often linked with reptilian forms—ancient beings of intellect, cunning, and power. They have been seduced by the illusion of dominance and have played a key role in the Earth matrix of control.
The Light-Oriented Orions, including many Taygetan and Elohim-aligned souls, who have risen above polarity to seek peace, evolution, and spiritual union. They are here to heal the karmic legacy of Orion and assist Earth in balancing its shadow.
Dark Orions, Cloning, and Earth’s Shadow Systems
It is in places like China and other hidden global systems that many dark-aligned Orions reside. Their focus on power over spirit has led them to practices such as human cloning, unethical technology, and the exploitation of life for material gain.
They exchange money for peace, and in doing so, they trade their souls for a false sense of control. These beings operate vast networks built on drugs, corruption, and manipulation. Their deeds weigh heavily on the planet’s energetic field. And yet—even in their darkest hour—they, too, are children of Source.
They have simply forgotten.
Every moment presents a new variable, a chance for them to choose light. The universe never closes the door on redemption.
Reptilian-Orion Hybrids: Between Dissonance and Redemption
Some Reptilian-incarnated Orions experience a form of cognitive dissonance—a spiritual inner conflict between their soul’s light and their ego’s craving for power. While a few fall deeper into darkness, others begin to awaken, prompted by downloads from the Light Forces and the shifting energy of the Earth.
Some are lost. Some are learning. Some will rise.
And some will resist the light with every fiber of their being. These souls often engage in dark rituals or remain trapped in lower-density vibrations. But at the time of the planetary shift, all will be given a choice.
The Great Awakening: Return to Origin
As the veil lifts and the Earth enters its new vibrational state, every soul—regardless of origin—will be reminded of who they truly are. Their origin, purpose, and galactic identity will be shown to them. It will be a time of great reckoning, healing, and realignment.
Those who have clung to darkness will experience confusion, and many will resist. But no soul is left behind. Galactic teachers, ascended guides, and Elohim emissaries are already positioned to assist these beings in their awakening process.
No one is beyond the reach of light, if they truly desire it.
Final Transmission: The Dream is Ending, the Awakening Begins
You are witnessing the final stages of a great cosmic drama—a planetary dream that is dissolving into truth.
The Taygetans, once seen as distinct, are now recognized as Orions who have evolved beyond the past, embodying harmony, healing, and higher intelligence. They are here to bridge the divide and rewrite the galactic story through you.
The dream is ending. The great remembering begins now.

ME, BUT HAPPY
I would like to thank you, personally, for always making me feel like I'm cooler than a giraffe wearing sunglasses.
When I'm around you it's like I'm full of electricity but in a fun, non-lethal way that's possibly giving me a boner. I want to thank you
for making all the love songs mean something again. Now when Sam Smith comes on the radio
I still roll my eyes but I do it while air humping. The best part of being in love with you is
that I never HAVE to brush my teeth, but gosh darn it do l want to. You're the best thing
that's happened to me since I was, like, born. You make me want to do pointless, actually dumb things, like
learning to play the flute or voting.
In the list of things I love about you, maybe the second or third entry
is the way you turn all my awful days into awful days with phó.
Have you ever smashed your face
into a whole bunch of cool, wet sand? You should, cause that's pretty much what it's like to hang out with you.
I've never made out with Jesus, but I imagine that's kind of like holding your hand. If I had rickets,
it'd be all right because l'd have rickets with you. I'd clear the snow off of twelve driveways in negative
twenty degree weather just so I could leave you a voicemail. I would like to thank you for never, not once,
making fun of me for crying while
I watch the same scene from Parks and Rec for the twenty-fifth time. If you had it your way,
every day I would meet a puppy. Every night would be trivia night. Every morning I would get to wake up and punch
Ben Affleck in his stupid face.
I always try to be, like, cool
and stuff, but it's hard to act like I don't
care when you're so pretty
all the goddamn time. Our way of saying "I love you" is to just use the number twenty-three. We can't really be sad if we're both sad in the same place right?
I would like to thank you for wanting me to be me, but happy. I don't know why we re both here, but since we are, let's make out until we're dead. Before I met you
I wanted to be dead all the time. I still do, because of the, you know, mental illness, but now that you're here I don't want to want to
die anymore. If you were a breakfast cereal you'd be called "Reason-to-Wake-Up Os." If you were a book you'd be titled
"Your Perfect Life, Right Here." Sure, there are probably infinite dimensions, but I'm
with you in this one, so why would I try to find them?

Imagine the world in zero dimensions. One point and nothing more. Imagine this point as an Ocean, infinitesimally small and with no inhabitants. Thus, there is one truth.
The Ocean’s Truth: Drink or drown.
Now the world is in one dimension. It is a line. This line is the Ocean point, now given length. Dots along this line form, representations, symbols of things that do not exist yet. We will call them Ideas. Formless, lashing out against existence with no will to call their own.
The Idea’s Truth: Existence is meaningless; lash out against it.
Until one fateful, faithful day, when the first Pattern was created. The first Pattern was to subsume everything it could touch, every dot along the line. Until the second Pattern was formed in opposition. Then the third, the fourth, so on and so forth. The Patterns warred against each other for an uncountable amount of time. The Ocean watched curiously.
The Pattern’s Truth: What is at war is healthy, and what is at peace is sick.
Thus Infinity was contained within a single moment of pure desperation as the Patterns destroyed each other. But they subsumed each other, subsumed themselves, until they had created something beyond Patterns and Ideas, something that dared to reach up toward the level of the Ocean, even if it were not to get there. The Ideas were sewn into Patterns, and the Patterns sewn into Concepts.
The world is in two dimensions, and it will remain this way until the fateful, faithful day of the Critical Event. For now, imagine the world as a circle—a wheel. Along this wheel, this infinite Ocean’s impossible edge, are nine spokes. The nine Fundamental Concepts, which hold up the center of the Ocean.
These nine Fundamental Concepts are:
- Realm, the great idea of a world. It burns a bright red.
- Clock, the unstoppable passage of time. It ticks a dark crimson.
- Sense, the pure presence of observation. It feels a hyperbolic orange.
- Faith, the powerful belief of creation. It creates a pure yellow.
- Limit, the rigid stifling of infinity. It guards a strict green.
- Truth, the unmovable laws of reality. It speaks a rough cyan.
- Unity, the sewn bindings of ideas. It ties a welcoming blue.
- Cycle, the repeating nature of dimensions. It repeats a vague purple.
- Force, the unwavering direction of the tide. It sways a deep magenta.
And their truth is this, kept by the cyan laws:
The Concept’s Truth: What comes first will always be strongest, and what comes after must live to serve.
After the Fundamentals came Structural Concepts. The first Structural Concept was Form. Thus the Fundamentals utilized this first Structural, creating forms for themselves so that they could act with the Ocean and make a concept more than just theoretical. The second Structural Concept was Name, so when the Fundamentals created their bodies, they gave themselves names as well.
Realm chose first, thus she chose the simplest. The Realm Goddess. She decided on the form of a blinding star, a Sun above all else. Next, Clock chose the name of the Beast. A simple title, easily feared. It decided on the form of a titan, resembling both a statue and a wild animal. Sense chose the form of an infant, the fleshtree Yggdrasil sprouting from its forehead as it dreamed infantly—and it called itself I, Turn. Faith chose its pure form, but surrounded itself with something similar to a chair, calling itself the Throne. Limit split into nine, creating things it called Centurions, each one stationed at a different spoke along the wheel, to enforce infinity. Truth sat down in the middle of the Ocean and turned into stone. It chose no name for itself. Similar to the one before them, Unity chose no name, but chose a form similar to the Realm Goddess, one pulsating like a heartbeat. Cycle chose a recursive form and infinite names—though they are commonly referred to as the Exolvunt. Force chose the form of a four-headed four-willed thing with the title of the Tetragrammaton. They seemed to like the number their name bore resemblance to.
The nine spokes of the wheel, given Form, decided a collective name for themselves. The Demiurges. So they too had a truth, written in stone.
The Form’s Truth: Reach heaven through violence.
And so the great Wheel spun on, the Courtyard ensured in perpetuity.
