so magnus archives s4 takes place between feb and october 2018 and jon and basira go to ny-ålesund in june 2018 so right after ramadan so most of the preparation to go there would’ve been done during ramadan so basira would be fasting and she’d spend evenings in the archives because what’s the point of going home, right, if you’re just going to be attacked by that which you’ve only just started to name and worse and solitude becomes more sinister by the day, except there’s nobody at the archives either, because melanie can’t trust them and martin’s with peter and daisy’s too broken to round up to a person, which critically means there’s no food at the archives. at first, she tides herself over by breaking her fast with tea and biscuits until her stomach really starts to churn and the statements begin to smell like a home-cooked meal, at which point she forces herself to go back to her cold, empty flat and colder, emptier kitchen to heat up a vegetarian sainsbury’s microwave dinner or leftover kebab. and rinse and repeat.

except there’s not ‘nobody’ in the archives, there’s jon. and jon Knows. and jon does his best, not to Know what type of dates basira likes best and whether rooh afza was as big a deal in a bangladeshi home as it would be in a malayali one when he’s standing in line at the asian market, small basket of groceries that weren’t meant for him, staring at his feet and locked in his own, unbreakable fast, because he and basira had been friends. and he leaves the dates, the rooh afza, a small box of mithai and some random snacks he remembers liking, once, in the staff room, nonchalantly conspicuous, and when basira stumbles into the staff room a few minutes before nine pm, all she can do for a moment is stare at the dates and the snacks and she Knows who put them there, who retreated to his office to stave his own hunger except nobody can help him satisfy it, nobody can put a date in one scarred, lonely hand and a cup of warm tea in the other (or, at least, nobody particularly wants to do so). and all she can do is stare, break her fast and stare, never letting her eyes drift to where she knows he’s locked himself away, because she and jon had been friends, once.

I read the script (idk if they use the one I read)

Here's my summary

Cairo is attending her last year of school. She has some kind of writing/English class taught my Jonathan Miller.

She has a bestfriend named Winnie who unlike her, Winnie is a bit of a tease (shows of a lot of skin, flirts... etc)

Winnie has a lax and tease-y relationship with one of the teachers, Boris, I believe who coincidentally is Mr. Miller's and his Wife's close friend

Throughout the script, Cairo is regarded as this straight As, smart student who's all business and no fun, as I said, unlike Winnie (Although I do think she has fun)

As we go through the script, we see Cairo and Mr. Miller's relationship turn from Student-Teacher to what I can only describe as how you would treat and talk to a Peer.

Okay, now. It's midterms and papers are due for classes. This is where the whole script is turned on it's head. Basically students are to write in the style of an author they like, kinda like a mentor text/author. Cairo, being Cairo asked if she could do Henry Miller (Basically the script says he writes erotica or smth) even though it's not on the approved list

Mr. Jonathan Miller, seeing her as a peer/or something more, said yes and said that he trusts her.

I should mention that a little before this point (I think), Winnie has been hinting to Cairo about how Cairo likes Mr. Miller and vise versa.

One day, Cairo stops by Mr. Miller's room to receive feedback for her midterm (she sent it to him previously). It's a story about how a Teacher and student had an affair.

Mr. Miller gets mad and they got into a fight. Cairo made a point by saying how he doesn't like it only because of how it made him feel.

After the fight, and Cairo refusing to write another one from another author, their "relationship" is a wreck

Anyways, Cairo, having been rejected (her project and her proposal for Mr. Miller (she wanted coitus)), drops her story off at the Vice Principal, (The paper had a "To Jonathan From Cairo" written on it)

Jon (Mr. Miller) goes home to his wife and his wife basically asks what Cairo wrote and Mr. Miller recited it to her (He has eidetic memory and he gave the story back to Cairo).

His wife, a writer, said it was good. (I thought this was funny for some reason)

Now a little later, the Vice Principal calls Mr. Miller cause they've seen Cairo's paper.

Now at the end of the school day the next day, Cairo and Mr. Miller are at the vice principals office. The Vice Principal questions them and, man does it look bad for Mr. Miller.

Mr. Miller has been suspended and went home to a mad wife. They fight because of Mr. Miller's "affair" with Cairo and how he "touched" a minor

Now on Cairo's, side Winnie confronts Cairo about avoiding her. Winnie finds out that Cairo is testifying against Mr. Miller in court despite nothing happened and Cairo was the one that wanted coitus.

Okay so after this it just goes into a narrative with scenes flashing and changing, as well as fantasy scenes.

The narrative is what I assume Cairo wrote. It's basically sexual stuff with "Mr. Murphy" the teacher in her story.

The flashes are of Masturbation and Cairo/Mr. Miller's fantasies of doing sexual acts to each other, although it doesn't show anything (I'd say it's more of a like than a lemon)

After this whole narrative it cuts to Mr.Miller sitting outside the court house, smoking.

Cairo and her parents walked toward him. Cairo was described as "looks terribly young"

The script ends with a Voice Over of Cairo saying "checkmate"

Tl;dr: Nothing actually happened between Cairo and Mr. Miller. Cairo was the one that wanted it and was pushed by her friend Winnie. Cairo sued Mr. Miller in what I assume is revenge.

“Fractures” Keyart

I noticed a bunch of things about the fractures keyart on the dragon prince website before season 4 came out, and then after it came out the things made sense. And I’m only now posting it

so in case you haven’t seen it yet, this is the artwork:

Notice anything odd about it?

1- Rayla has a crack down the middle of her face. No one else has a crack so disruptive. She’s changed throughout her journeys to find Viren, different to the past seasons. She’s grown, changed, experienced things that we don’t know. She’s broken, split in two halves - her past self (energetic, alive, not optimistic but at least ready to help others if she can), and her new self (“we can’t save everyone, soren”, the girl who failed for two years, the girl who lost everyone and everything)

2- Everyone’s eyes are open but Viren’s are closed - Viren has also changed. His character has developed in ways none of us thought were possible. His eyes are closed- he can’t see where his path is going. He’s also dead so that could be why. It could also be that he’s blind to what’s right and wrong now - he spent two years dead, without dark magic amplifying his bad parts, without aaravos whispering in his ear and amplifying the amplified bad parts. Now he’s confused, in the dark, blinded.

3- Aaravos is the only one without any damage to his little section thingy - everyone else has cracks, big or small, sometimes interrupting their face and sometimes not. If they don’t have cracks, they have shards pointing at their face threateningly. But Aaravos’ is completely intact and whole. He’s the mastermind, the one behind everything that’s happened. The entire show so far has all gone according to his huge, sinister plan. Idk every step is of his plan, but it feels like every single thing that has happened is part of his plan. Even the good things. Like Rayla getting the coins back means they’ll be spending heaps of time trying to get them out of the coins, meaning they won’t be spending enough time trying to stop Aaravos. And because they were trapped with dark magic, they might need to use dark magic to free them, meaning they’re even more of a target to Aaravos. Or even Amaya and Janai getting married. Aaravos wants to be free and (I think) to rule all of Xadia. But a lot of feuds start to tear apart the sunfire elves and the humans, even tears apart some sunfire elves from each other and humans from each other. (Like Janai and Karim. And humans taking sides of elves in the feuds and fights, causing rifts between families and friends, and vice versa). If they’re all torn apart, that leaves Aaravos free to (presumably) rise up and make them unite somehow in some evil way and stop the fights by making them all follow him. Idk if that makes sense, it made sense in my head but then I forgot how words work. Just trust me here, everything is according to his plan. And bad things too, like the obvious: Claudia getting the map so she can free him. Other stuff too probably. (I’m really tired I can’t think. If you can think of any other examples tho, lemme know! I’m interested to hear everyone’s theories and stuff cos my own are pretty messy)

4- Like Rayla, Claudia has a crack in her face, but rather than in the middle, it’s only breaking off the part of her hair that’s still its natural colour. Or, in other words, it’s breaking off the parts of her that are yet to be touched by dark magic.

5- Terry is on the opposite side of the mirror (or whatever it is) to Claudia and Viren, despite being “on their team”. He travels with them. He’s with them all the time. He helps them and supports them. He’s dating Claudia. But honestly it feels like he’s on the wrong side. Presently the only exposure he’s had to Viren is what Claudia has told him (and Claudia reveres Viren, so he’d only hear good things), and Viren in a weird place both mentally and physically, so he’s never been exposed to the real bad evilness that everyone else saw in season 3. As for Claudia, they’re dating (Claudia might be using him or something, their relationship feels really weird but not in a fun way, but that’s a post for another day), so it’s hard for Terry to see her bad sides. But near the end, he starts to see some cruelty from her, so I’m hoping that over time he’ll finally realise. He’s like Soren - a good heart and a good person, but on the wrong side that he thought was the right side.

6- This one’s pretty small, but everyone is looking left or right, up or down, but aaravos is looking directly through the mirror, at the audience, at his freedom.

*Miraculous Paris:Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir Headcanon

-With the trailer and pic reveals of Shadybug and Claw Noir out, I have been thinking about how that special will go with that alternate universe being a reverse (as it’s original name Into the Re-verse) of everything the main show is. Idk where this special takes place in the timeline, as the cast list is shown that Hawk Moth is in it (he became Shadow Moth in Season 4 and Monarch in the next), but also The Resistance (which formed in Season 5) is mentioned to be there too, so I’m assuming they blended those two together? I’m not entirely sure, but any ways, the cast list in the special was a bit limited and idk if that’s all we’re gonna see (it’s only 50mins) or if they’re gonna surprise us with more people, but here are my speculations for the characters opposite roles/personalities/alignments:

The Villains and Hero

•Marinette/Shadybug and Adrien/Claw Noir-As shown, AU Adrienette are emo and thus reserved and only interested in each other. This is because like OG Marinette, she grew up extremely insecure and “friendless” (*see Socqueline below) and eventually became emo giving up on life. Marinette thought she was the only emo in Paris until she met Adrien and it was love at first sight. Adrien became emo after losing his mother and wasn’t the happy-go-lucky guy he originally was. Despite their love, they both have bad reputations in school for being troublemakers and looking down on everything and berating/belittling everyone (mostly The Resistance) when they’re forced into group activities or other things where they’re supposed to take responsibility (like Marinette being forced to babysit). Marinette and Adrien don’t care about her bakery/fashion modeling success, respectively, as Marinette mainly focuses on her emo fashion designs that she feels no one (except Adrien) gets and tries to influence others that this is the true fashion choice for everyone (like OG Gabe) and Adrien is brutally honest about his disinterest reluctantly modeling for his fathers fashion line still grieving over his mother. Both would rather be alone together. I know we’ve had theories of their love square being reversed or them loving each other as civilians and hating each other as villains or vice versa, but my fav would be if in this world, they knew about one another’s identities cuz unlike our OG dynamic duo, they’re more trusting with each other (and less awkward) getting together way early and also work in perfect, but evil, sync with each other in villain form. They mistreat their Kwami’s the same way OG Gabe does, much to their (Kwami’s) misery, and as villains, they act mischievous and wicked sadisticaly enjoying the trouble they cause with their “Unlucky Trinket” and “Catastrophic” powers and being very flirty with each other. If they’re miserable, then they’ll make everyone else miserable. This is how they vent out their frustrations with everyone that upsets them. After their destruction, Shadybug leaves behind some temporary form of misfortune (ex.rainstorm) with her “Treacherous Shadybug” power from her “Unlucky Trinket”. They get annoyed whenever Hesperia sends a “goody two-shoes” superhero to interfere in their rampage and preach to them about redemption. They are unaware of the ultimate wish power of their combined miraculouses.

•Gabriel/Hesperia-Gabriel is how he was before Emilie passed being all happy and friendly inspiring everyone with his unique and colorful fashion designs to discover who they are (like OG Marinette). His dynamic with Adrien is reversed as Gabe has learned to move on from Emilie wishing to start a new relationship with Nathalie, but doesn’t understand why she won’t notice him (*see Nathalie below) as he knows she (Emilie) would want him to be happy and tries to spend quality time with Adrien by having him model in his brand (even incorporate his fashion sense into his designs to get his attention), but Adrien coldly pushes him away keeping himself busy with his hobbies (listening to emo music, writing melancholy poetry, etc..). After Emilie passed, he took her wedding ring and gave it to Adrien while he wears his own for both of them to remember her by. The rings are also the amok that created Adrien as a sentibeing, but the power to control Adrien is a struggle between them with each one having a ring (this is why Adrien “reluctantly” models, but still has half the power to fight against it) and Adrien is unaware of it. As Hesperia, he’s the righteous hero that saves Paris from the evil teen terrors that is Shadybug and Claw Noir by creating superheroes with his “Tenshi” to defeat them and trying to persuade them to redeem themselves. Like OG Marinette, he treats his Kwami cordially and listens to their advice. He is aware of the ultimate wish power the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses combined can do and makes sure the two never find out about it by having his superhero’s take it from them for the greater good or it’s dooms day for everyone. He is an honorary member of The Resistance called Comrade Champagne.

The Schoolmates/Staff

•Alya and Nino-Alya is pretty much the same except more serious and a scientist like the trailer showed and instead of being best friends with Marinette, she’s best friends with Chloe and she researches ways to stop the villainy that is Shadybug and Claw Noir by aiding Hesperia to redeem them like having him transform her into a superhero (Ubiquity). Nino is pretty much the same too except he fails to be the “skater boy” type to try and look cool and is cowardly, but still sticks by The Resistance he created (in this AU, they are named after beverages) to try and redeem the villains. They are dating. Ayla is Comrade Orange Juice and Nino is Comrade Apple Juice.

•Mylene and Ivan-Their roles are reversed. Mylene is the metalhead and intimidating looking one with a heart of gold and Ivan’s the colorfully dressed shy sweetheart. They are dating. Mylene is Comrade Root Beer and Ivan is Comrade Green Tea. Ivan is also the drummer in the bubblegum pop band, “Puppy Corner”.

•Nathaniel and Marc-Their roles are reversed. Nathaniel is the painfully shy and anxious fanfic writer and Marc is the shy and quiet daydreaming comic book artist. They are in a partnership. Nathaniel is Comrade Tomato Juice and Marc is Comrade Fruit Punch.

•Juleka and Rose-Juleka is the conformist sheep that follows the latest trends and is as loud as a megaphone and Rose is the snarky tomboy (her role is reversed with Alix). They are in a partnership. Juleka is Comrade Boba and Rose is Comrade Soda. They are also in the bubblegum pop band, “Puppy Corner” with Juleka as the bass guitarist and Rose as the lead singer/song writer.

•Max and Kim-Their roles are reversed. Max is the obnoxious athlete and Kim is the nerd with the large vocabulary and robot friend. Max is Comrade Energy Drink and Kim is Comrade Almond Milk.

•Alix-The perky girly girl (her role is reversed with Rose). She is Comrade Pink Passionfruit Drink.

•Sabrina-She is an independent girl who caters to no one and all the things Sabrina did for Chloe, she does for herself becoming an overachiever. She is Comrade Carrot Juice.

•Chloe-She is besties with Alya and is the clumsy school darling everyone loves (like OG Marinette) as she’s the humble rich girl that likes to help (like OG Adrien). Although, she has much difficulty reaching out to Marinette. Same goes with her childhood friend, Adrien, who now ignores her after his mothers passing and wishes for him to be his cheerful self again. She ends up dating the quirky guitarist, Luka. She is Comrade Lemonade.

•Lila-An honest introvert who would much rather blend in with her surroundings than be in the spotlight. Everything Lila said that were lies is true for her, but she’d rather just move on to the next stage in her life than be reminded of her amazing luck. She is Comrade Hot Coco.

•Kagami-Despite having a strict upbringing, she grew up to be an upbeat social butterfly. Despite her success as a champion fencer, her mother can’t stand her optimism and tries to toughen her up, but to no avail. Kagami makes “friends” (one-sided on her side) with Adrien and tries to lighten him up. She ends up dating Felix.

•Zoe-Her role is reversed with Chloe. She’s the spoiled selfish New Yorker who tries to dominate her new surroundings in Paris. Chloe fails miserably to try and better her half-sister as much as she does to Marinette and Adrien. She considers AU Adrienette to be freaks and bullies them moreso than the other kids, but ironically looks up to Shadybug and Claw Noir inspiring to be as tyrannical as them and occasionally assisting them in their villainous acts (like how OG Chloe originally felt for Marinette/Ladybug).

•Principal Damocles-Unlike his superhero obsessed comic relief counterpart who cowered at Chloe when she kept threatening to call her father when things don’t go her way, this Damocles is mature and responsible and is a firm disciplinarian who shows no fear and appreciates Chloe for following the rules and can’t stand when either Marinette or Adrien acts up in school and is sent to his office. He is an honorary member of The Resistance called Comrade Coffee.

•Ms.Bustier and Ms.Mendeleiev-Their roles are reversed. Ms.Bustier is the strict and no nonsense teacher who tries to set order in her students and Ms.Mendeleiev is the kind and caring teacher who encourages good behavior in her students.

Others

•Master Fu-He’s the same, he lost the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses, but he also recently lost the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses (he’s very absent minded) instead of handing them out to the devious duo which they found in the streets together. He occasionally guides Gabe/Hesperia on how to use his powers as well as ways to get through to Shadybug and Claw Noir to redeem them before they figure out what their combined miraculouses can do.

•Tom and Sabine-Their roles are reversed. They’re still a happily married couple who run a great bakery except Tom is the level headed parent and Sabine is the bumbling one. They are still good parents to Marinette, despite the fact that she resents them now that she’s emo, and wish for their “sweet little girl” to come back.

•Nathalie-To me, she’s the same except she’s secretly working with Adrien knowing about his alter ego as Claw Noir and conflicted over keeping this from Gabe whom she knows Adrien won’t like ending up with by having his mother “replaced”. She’s helping cuz he’s only a child who needs guidance on how to deal with his grief over losing his mother and she seems to be the only person (besides Marinette) who understands him. She is aware he’s a sentibeing. Often times, she tries to per sway Adrien to be a better person and not make Paris suffer, but it falls on his deaf ears.

•”Gorilla”-He’s still Adriens bodyguard except he’s incredibly tall (to the point where we don’t see his face) and thin, yet still strong. Because of his appearance, he’s nicknamed, “Giraffe”. He’s also every talkative and cheery much to Adriens chagrin.

•Tomoe-Same as Nat, she’s the same, but secretly working with Adrien/Claw Noir. Together with Adrien, they convinced Gabriel to merge into a business partnership where in secret, they produce alliance rings that “mysteriously” cause destruction much to Gabe’s dismay. She wants everyone to be miserable like herself who’s blind (if that is what’s rumored to be why the OG Tomoe sided with Gabe into evil and obtain the miraculouses to regain her sight).

•Mayor Andre and Audrey-Their roles are reversed. Mayor Andre is the selfish, bossy, demanding and distant parent who abuses his power in Paris and doesn’t care much for Chloe, but she eventually grew up likable and Audrey is the sweet faced and mistreated fashion designer parent who spoiled Zoe (from her affair looking for real love when she moved to New York to open a new fashion store) to the point where she grew up rotten and keeps trying to earn her respect by doing everything she says, even if it’s petty, ending up as a doormat.

•Wayhem-He’s still the same obsessive fanboy, but to Gabriel (even dressing up like him) and often tries to get Adrien to have them meet, but Adrien rudely brushes him off much to his dismay.

•Luka-He’s an eccentric bubblegum pop musician (being a fan of his father who is reversed with XY) and gives out ridiculous, utterly ridiculous advice opposite of OG Luka being the voice of reason. He ends up dating the clumsy cutie, Chloe. He is the guitarist in the bubblegum pop band, “Puppy Corner”.

•Felix-He’s how OG Adrien is. The “golden boy” that everyone adores. Like OG Felix, he grew up abused by his father and is aware he’s a sentibeing with his ring along with knowing Adrien is one too. Him and Kagami are opposite of their OG selves as in this universe, their the sweet natured ones and Adrien is the cold loner type. Like Kagami, he wishes he could get through to Adrien and lighten him up. He also ends up dating her.

•Socqueline-Marinettes only friend who graduated before her. She was an emo who punched out Max after he pulled a nasty prank on Marinette whom she, at first, had a crush on. Feeling miserable that she was alone without Socqueline, Marinette emulated her culture (and violent streak) onto herself (she was just an insecure girl with bad luck in the beginning like OG Marinette). She used to dress up as Shadybug committing crimes, but stopped as Marinette told her not to. She now runs an emo shop occasionally assisting Shadybug and Claw Noir in their villainous acts as well.

•Emilie-Shes dead dead! No coma, no life support glass coffin, no nothing! OG Gabe had the money and power (and authority) to hide her in secrecy, but evil Adrien here is just a child and could only do so much! This Gabe, as mentioned above, learned to move on. (Sorry Emilie ღ).

That’s all I have to speculate. Took me awhile to get the storyline for this in the opposite direction of the AU, but I think it works. I heard we were getting spin-offs from the Miraculous World specials and (if we’re lucky, but most likely no) this just might be next! Wonder how the actual special will go with everything in reverse order. Should be a hoot! But I can’t wait!

Hi, time for unofficial request ideas before I send a shorter version lol. I wrote this on another app and I’m kinda feeling too lazy to edit it nicely sorry lol. Hybrid panther punk pet mc and yandere punk rapper suga. Yandere mc too? Yeah prob. Or nvm and that she beats or tortures them until they’re almost dead but is too scared to kill. I prefer he’s the yandere and she’s really protective. He kills them after she goes away if there’s a good reason to. Can’t pick hm. Maybe smut is that she’s in heat and so he gets possessive and or jealous while they’re outside. Or either way around? Or both lol hm. Him patching her up even if it’s a tiny scratch compared to the enemy’s broken bones lol both are hybrids?? I like the pet idea with them both as humans or he’s human bc it’s more humiliating for the mc. But I want to see some variety and I like hybrids so why not have them both be hybrids. Maybe they’re both awkward at first. But she ends up loving to be spoiled and taken care of. And a lil vice versa. Maybe she patches him up on the rare occasions he can’t find a trusted gang doctor or member to do it bc he doesn’t want to look weak in front of her. Maybe Yoongi is a cat, tiger, cheetah. I kinda like cat the most but idk hm. Would a black cat make them look too similar or is that cute? I like the idea of her being a lil taller and kinda stronger than him but will submit to him. He’s smart and dominant. Strays who have to be in a gang bc the don’t/can’t find a human owner. Or hybrids only neighborhood with gangs. But their gang is poor. Maybe hybrids are pretty poor in general or not. Fight club/loans business mainly prob. Maybe Yoongi becomes a big gang leader. But he fakes his death after making sure he has enough $ for a stable life. Maybe passes his leadership to one of the bts boys or a random guy if the other bts boys want to get out of gang life for their lover or another passion. I prefer the latter hm. Or he becomes a big producer. Maybe all of that happens in that order hm. No drugs/prostitution/guns. (Or it exists but not mentioned. My morals/ethics lol hm) Only bare fist fighting bc that’s the honorable way to do it. But yanderes will kill for love lol. Everyone keeps one or two small weapons in case enemy used one first. Brass knuckles or dagger etc YES to hybrid ear piercings. I haven’t seen this before, that’s so interesting. The ears are usually extra sensitive so it’s considered cool to get them. (Oh no there’s the thing of whether hybrids have human ears or not too lol. I’ll say no) the other bts boys as the top members of his gang. Yoongi who is kind of a crazy asshole to anyone who isn’t in his gang. Maybe some hybrids instinctually love chaos, blood, violence, fire etc Loves mc, genuine with bts, but only plays nice for his own benefit with other gang members and other ppl. Mc is kinda similar but more cold except for with him. Maybe she gets a lil closer to the other bts boys after a while of seeing Yoongi being happy/soft with them. There doesn’t need to be a lot of gang/hybrid/world lore. I just want some and to see if Yoongi and or mc change as the gang gets bigger. MATING MARKS! I imagine they’d get it on opposite sides of their neck so the bites make a heart when they have their necks together. That’s so cute. I simply have to write down my thoughts for anything to have meaning, so here are my awtwb opinions in no particular order (spoilers ahead!!!):

- the break up absolutely needed to happen, and also frankly it was very tasty

- "you're crying from simon/baz?" "the 'we’re not made of pieces that come apart' got to me"

- the last ditch effort sentimentality on baz’s part and ill-conceived sacrifice on simon’s........ such a lovely lil piece of angst. hurt stokes honesty and vice versa

- why did they get back together literally the next day though. it was like watching someone tear down an old condemned building and then OVERNIGHT an identical building has been rebuilt in its place. the dust hadn’t even settled yet. can we sit in it for like a minute.

- it definitely IS in character for simon to look at the emotional mess he just made and be like wait. I hate this actually. I’m immediately going to fix it despite the fact that I haven’t thought it through and have no plan :)

- this sure is a horny book huh

- actually very tonally appropriate that simon sees intimacy as too much to possibly grapple with. sex is easy when it's prescribed, and he's not really invested in it, but when he wants things very very badly he knows he can never truly have them. he can only host power or love or acceptance for a while before it's taken away.

- (something something orphan something something instability/insatiability)

- he always used to have one clear path, and now he can’t tease apart all his options. he wants everything or nothing. no embarrassing in-betweens, no gentle half-touches, no one foot in and one foot out of the magickal world

- also he wants to be manhandled and told what to do and bitten and consumed. sub behaviour

- every minor character in this book rules. ent bartender, butch legend niamh, cake-maker ruth, tracksuit fox. demon bear lady please wife me.

- sapphics kissing over the birthing juices of a fresh goat? come ON

- I think it’s fitting that goatherder agatha found her own productive, unconventional niche just outside of the place where she felt so constricted and misunderstood. like she wandered out of her ivory tower and found all of these sprawling open pastures

- shepard is so supremely & unbelievably likeable. so delighted and delightful. a mover and a shaker and a monsterfucker. spin-off when

- penny & shepard were also such pleasing complementary colours, and I like that they were both highly self-assured (in contrast w baz/simon's insecurity) and highly impressed with one another

- there’s a lot of awkward pacing in this book, which does feel (possibly by accident) like a testament to the non-linear, unexpected way that people deal with trauma. like it’s realistic that emotional pitfalls and relationship turmoil will always clumsily insert themselves into your “narrative,” you know?

- the demon bride storyline felt like a (super fun) short story nested within the book rather than an important element of the overarching plot itself

- some of the interpersonal groundwork laid in wayward son definitely paid off, but there were also a lot of superfluous plot points, and not a lot of fall-out/consequences? no real stakes (pun intended)

- so much good relationship stuff though! the communication is bantery and productive and tender and sometimes uncomfortable. it all feels like growing pains

- it’s so clear that simon’s innate sense of self is completely hollow; he’s petrified of self-identifying (and thus committing to a label which might turn out to be false again), and he’s afraid of smothering people with how much he wants and relies on them so he ghosts them instead

- the way he self-sabotages just for the rush of fixing things afterwards…. baby let me study you

- he constantly kind of has to reassure himself that he’s normal and also that he’s a Normal (this is what regular people do. this is what healthy affection looks like. And also—I have to remember that I don’t have or deserve magic. I’m not the person I thought I was.)

- he was the chosen one, and it turned out to be fake. and now he’s another kind of chosen one—chosen by Baz, by his friends, and later by the Salisburys, but he doesn’t really trust the sensation of being important to people anymore. he thinks that everything good he has or will ever have has been stolen or coerced somehow, and too much feeling is always inevitably going to be followed by total devastation. doesn’t that make you insane

- the excalibur thing was such a neat little piece of world-building (ancestral magic swords? yes ma’am) although I definitely expected agatha to have a hand in that reveal

- no real resolution for the magic immunity. okie dokie

- I wanted to linger with that mage paternity reveal a bit longer. the upgrade simon’s daddy issues just received…… astronomical

- I liked that penny and simon had a little bit of independence from one another actually, because simon had to think through his problems like a Normal, and penny had to fact check herself when no one was nodding benignly along with all of her ideas. growth!

- a society of chosen ones? cult-leader villain obsessed with empty symbolism? mages seduced not by the promise of power but of acceptance and healing? delicioso

- the climax of this book lasted about twelve seconds, but I enjoyed the continued chapel motif, and the fact that every villain ends up being a shade of simon snow

- the conclusion for daphne, prof. bunce, etc, wasn’t super fulfilling, I was half-expecting a reveal that they were all under some kind of thrall, but since they were just like.. insecure and ostracized by their community, I wanted a denouement where their respective spouses meet them where they’re at, and the world of mages pledges some kind of fundamental change in attitudes/policies towards differing magickal proficiency. maybe! idk!

- so much pop culture in this book. (the yeets…… the vibe checks…..) this one’s going to age like milk, ladies

- it’s cute though! I like a book that is a little parcel of the time that it was made, and I like how un-embarrassed it is of itself

- I love the way all three couples had a really clear, “oh this is what it’s supposed to feel like” moment—the transformative potential of being loved the way you want and deserve to be loved

- so many fab individual moments that I'll think about for the rest of my life, and overall so indulgent and fun to read, but a little messy and out of balance for the final book of a trilogy. the end ✌️

Well smart ppl, this is the first time in the entirety of attack on titan Levi "snapped" towards Mikasa. The look on his eyes it's so full concern, did he know what was happening to her? Did he realise it was her headache or did he think it was Eren doing something?

Maybe he snapped bc he was absolutely tired of Erens shit and mikasa's hesitation towards him. Maybe he was so worried that he couldn't get his words to come out? "Get your shit together" is such a Levi think to say if he said "are you okay?" It would be so out of character.

I know I don't need to explain this as we are all aware that Levi's way with Mikasa is like none other, right? Eg when he snapped at historia for not being able to give a straight answer to the biggest decision of her life - more: he often snaps at hanji despite them being friends for years etc.

It also makes me wonder how Levi is so in touch with reality, he's right next to her, could it be that his presence helped Mikasa come back to hers and finally decide to end Eren?

"a theory isn't a fantasy, it's a coherent set of ideas intend to explain something.." and this is me theorising so stay with me. The Ackerman's who had their inhumane power activated are Levi Mikasa and Kenny. Kenny met his tragic end with Yuri, Levi met his tragic end with Erwin and now it is clearly Mikasa's turn. Ik it wasn't obvious but when Kenny Ackerman lost his liege he was completely alone then eventually he had died off. Isn't it funny how the only two Ackerman's to have had years side by side were Mikasa and Levi? It's just my belief that Erwin's death would have caused more harm on Levi if he hadn't had Mikasa by his side and Mikasa would have been more lost in her delusion or dreams without Levi's consent attempt to bring her back to reality. Eg female titan arc.

Even after killing Zeke Levi never found true happiness, was it really the purpose of his life? Definitely not. It almost feels like there's a loose end to tie, possibly with another Ackerman. This is where my theory ( or more questions ) about the shine in his eyes comes in which I will explain later.

I have always seen Mikasa as a doer, who is not indecisive and always goes for the kill. Levi knows that too. This one moment where got her headache and she hesitated to move forward it was a conflict that clearly irretated Levi.

But man if it were anyone else with all their love and care for Mikasa they would have snapped at her ages ago. The patience this man has for Mikasa is unmatched.

He said this to himself, TO HIMSELF I repeat not to Mikasa or anyone. What does this tell me? It tells me he trusts Mikasa to make the right decision. He knows it's time and he knows that she won't hesitate this time. Remember the gleam in his eyes when Mikasa asked him to help her kill Eren?

It's a gleam of trust and recognition.

To me this is the purest form of support Levi has given not only to Mikasa but anyone at all. It kinda makes me feel soft if I'm being honest but I can't explain that with facts.

Might I mention how how Levi said mikasa's name more in this one chapter than he has said in the entire manga?

( if someone know why he never calls Mikasa by her name please let me know I'm so hung up on that and still wondering what could be the meaning behind it )

It can be said the same with Mikasa calling Levi "captain" several times in the last chapter and possibly this one.

It may be a personal view of mine but the I think there's a lot of significance in calling ones name. But in rivamika's relationship the lack there of name calling makes it much more interesting to theorise. I have always been someone who would hesitate to say my crush's name because I feel like it would be awkward and make the conversation much more intimate. Yeah it's just a theory but most people would avoid using their crushes name because it makes them nervous and the fact their crush exist near them much more realistic. ( Input scene from there first caridge scene where Levi called Mikasa by her name to tell her to protect Eren with all her skills and Mikasa had a drop sweat on her, she was caught off guard by his voice calling her name )

If I was to assume this is what happened with Levi not mentioning mikasa's name ( all that often ) then it kinda makes sense. And now that we have Levi finally calling out her name in the middle of a life or death battle it makes me wonder if he is finally breaking out of a invisible shell and confronting his feelings (?)

Note: "feelings" can be interpreted as romantic AND non romantic. I don't mean to say that I think he is in love with her that's realistically thinking.

Idk how to word this properly but it's like he is becoming more aware of mikasa's importance in his life and vice versa (?)

Ones name is the biggest connection they have with their individuality and the fact that Levi calls her name several times in this particular chapter makes me think it's somehow connected to Mikasa letting go off Eren and choosing herself + Levi and whoever is left to save. I believe Levi already knew this since the moment the gleam came into his eyes, like I mentioned many many many times Levi knows things about Mikasa before she does. For Levi it's like looking into a mirror that goes backwards in time.

If I'm going to talk more about the gleam in Levi's eyes I might as well put it all down on the table and you can view it however you want.

Well the gleam to me represents hope, not only for the survival of them two by killing Eren, but for Mikasa herself, finding herself MIGHT just be the gleam of hope Levi's strength came from. Individuality. This is more like forshadowing the future than the present.

It also reminds me of S1 when Levi's eyes gleamed when Eren expressed his hatred towards the titans. The look of obsession, to kill the titans and now mikasa's determination to kill Eren ( her obsession).

If I'm being a delulu then yes I do think he is in love with her and nothing less 🤩 and this look^^ above is so sexy can they just idk send me the wedding invitation already I'm 🕯️😔🕯️ tired of waiting.

Anyways I'm going to end this here I feel like I write so much and if anyone asked me what this was all about in real life I would prolly run away rather than speaking. I didn't expect to write out my thoughts after each season anywhere but here we are i guess and now i can finally say i watched svtfoe in full!

So season 4

It was mid.

Okay theres more to that obviously, if it was just a season in the middle of the series it would be fine I enjoyed quite a few episodes but when it all comes together its just a complete mess

For me season 3 was the best and after such strong season this was just a disappointment honestly. I was wondering if Star lost her powers completely or what, so seeing her s4e01 using her magic completely fine without a wand was disappointing, like no learning no problems no nothing like i love you star but how tf did you learn that just outta nowhere

Other thing that seems to be completely forgotten is u know descendants of our favorite mc-pie folk? Like i have no problem with that what i have problem with is River. For whole 2 or more episodes he hates on pie folk so much but when he finds out his wife actually comes from pie folk he immediately forgets about that. Like im glad their relationship is okay dont get me wrong but with him being so prejudiced and hateful one minute and then just completely ignoring that is just ooc imo.

There's so much filler or irrelevant stuff happening that I had to look back at list of episodes to remind myself what was even happening

I liked Star being canonically attracted to women in episode I completely forgot about (ransomgram) so thats sth I guess

I really really enjoyed Stars and Toms relationship, maybe its my preference for Tomstar instead of Starco but I just find them so much nicer together. Despite that I also dont mind their eventual break up. I dont like that its so plainly just for Starco purposes its annoying but besides that I would love if their break up did lead up to development for them both. I feel like Tom was completely disregarded at the end of the season and it just bothered me a lot. I love how he grew throughout the series and I grew to like him a lot more than I initially did (which u know I liked him from the beginning anyway) and I love how much he cared for Star. It would be great if after the break up Star also could learn and like she wanted to try to find out who she is outside being "magical princess" that would be so great to see! but u know instead we got Starco :|

and now for Marco. I liked what he had going on w Kelly I thought it was cute u know? being breakup buddies thats adorable! and I didnt even mind blood moon curse I think it would be an okay closure for Starco and even then I feel like Marco and Star would be great platonic soulmates, instead of going w u know expected romance and stuff. Cause sure they have a strong bond I just feel like the romance part is bs, especially the confession scene I am sorry it was so bad. I dont mind Starco mind you but if I was keeping up w it at the time and 4 seasons of waiting led up to that I would be angry. I still am despite basically binging it, its just so weak I cant. The whole "I liked you from the start" no you didnt u liked Jackie (also good on her for getting french gf what a girlboss) and Star had a crush on Oskar and probably some other boys idk. It only got weird when Star started to have feelings for Marco while he was still obviously into Jackie, either way it was bad. Actually just now I read the synopsis the time they got feelings for each other was apparently blood moon ball? what? Star was charmed before she realized its Marco okay? and Marco idk didnt trust Tom and wanted to help Star which valid Tom had issues in s1 dskjds

I love Eclipsa so much I think she is my favorite character honestly. and her relationship w Globgor is just everything? Theyre so perfect and sweet and great w each other I want to have what they have ;-; She was so ready to do anything for him and vice versa and while reading some comments I kinda figured out how it feels so dear to me. Ik its interaccial or interspecies relationship so the metaphor isnt perfect but it feels so inherently queer. While being queer myself just seeing them care so much for each other while being ostracized by everyone around hits a bit close to home haha but yeah its amazing. and both of them separately are great too. While ik we only got few minutes of Globgor actually on screen I just liked him every second (and also it was funny to realize the guy from Jane the virgin dubs him pfpfpf) and Eclipsa is amazing too doing everything just to keep her family safe it was great.

I hate how Marco was literally stabbed but it didnt mean shit like at all. Its Stars wand all over again and it bothers me. Like sure it would suck if he died but also dont stab him then?

And I think I dont have to say this but ending is so bad. Like yeah ig the magic dimension when poofing out of existence could connect mewni and earth together but why only earth and mewni and also how did Star and Marco escape magic dimension??? again no consequences to their actions or not really anyway smh

and I havent even touched on magic or world building but thats gonna be another long post tee hee

Today is a good day for posting :D I'm hella happy that the first day of college left such a good impression ^^ idk it's not as scary as I made it out to be

Have more Crossing Starfields AU lore because this is officially my latest long-lasting hyperfixation, and I have plenty of time to info-dump about it

As the two grew to trust and care for eachother, White decided to introduce his dimension to his brother. Nova never really liked going to White's empire, but he could see this had to be something important due to how giddy White was acting, so he did his brother the favor. Nova was proclaimed as White's brother in the empire and declared as a figure of authority; he was to be respected and listened to almost as much as White himself. White also gifted Nova with a brand new outfit he could wear whenever he was at the empire alongside White, and welcomed in Nova like how he had once welcomed White into his dimension.

It seemed like everyone had their lives figured out; White had found a second home and people who he could care for, Nova finally got someone who could relate to his struggles and share his joys, and Amara got a brand new friend (even though they weren't the closest, White was still kind to her and vice-versa)

However, something unexpected would soon happen. As G.U.N.'s suspicions of Nova being Neo in disguise grew, so did their attempts at capturing Nova to interrogate him. As they successfully kidnap Nova from his hotel, it's up to White to figure out where his brother is being taken and break him out of there.

When White realized G.U.N. were the ones keeping him captive, he made it his mission to either make them release Nova, or break him out by force. White quickly got the attention of G.U.N. since he was what most people would expect Neo Metal Sonic to look like, since White actually looked like a robot for a start. White claimed G.U.N. had gotten the wrong guy, that he was this dimension's Neo Metal Sonic and that Nova was some unfortunate mobian who had the bad luck of looking like the robot ruler himself.

Despite knowing fully well that Nova was indeed Neo in disguise, G.U.N. still played along with White's lies and agreed to release Nova as long as White turned himself in. White accepted the deal and Nova was escorted back to the hotel, leaving his big brother to deal with Team Dark on his own. White knew he couldn't keep lying for much longer, that soon enough someone would realize something was up, but his main goal of getting Nova to safety was almost 100% complete. He ordered his trusty Sonic Zombot to escort Nova to the White Empire. White's plan was to keep Nova sealed away in the empire, making him the new ruler of that kingdom as White tried taking down G.U.N. and, with a 12% chance of success, be able to build a new throne in time before his almost certain death. First though, he was gonna have to deal with Shadow and the others.

Nova saw the portal closing behind him as he was led into the throne room. He started to panic as he kept asking the mindless servant when were they going to go rescue White, but getting no answers. The zombot would only tell him to not be afraid, that White had a plan. When questioned about the plan, Nova was only instructed to take a seat at White's throne. Nova remembered all the times White told him not to sit at his throne; it was designed to regulate White's energy levels, and that if it ever caught anything else besides White, it would suck it try of any kind of energy. Still, this was White's plan. Perhaps he had something up his sleeve that Nova just wasn't aware of. He trusted his brother's plan and did as told. It was then that the zombot explained the plan.

Nova was to be kept in the empire as its new ruler. No one was going to save White, the portals between their dimensions were instructed to never be opened again as to not put his little brother at danger of being found. White was to either die alone or by some sheer miracle survive and build a new empire from scratch, and Nova made the new ruler of the previously established White Empire.

Before Nova could protest, he felt the throne draining him empty of power as he was forced to shut down.

Speaking of Levi and women, the two characters I see him most shipped with are Petra (at least in the first season) and Hanji. Now Levihan is my otp but I was wondering if you think Petra would’ve been the right partner for him. For me, part of the Levihan appeal is how well they complement each other despite being complete opposites which makes me wonder if Petra would’ve been able to deal with his moodiness and grumpiness in a romantic context. I enjoy the LP interactions in the anime but if they were to become a couple, I wonder if Petra would’ve tried to change him in order to be more easy to deal with? Idk if in this romantic context she could’ve handled him the way Hanji can.

1) Hange isn't a woman per se. She only sometimes identifies as one though according to a source i found from Isayama.

2) No one would be a better partner to Levi than Hange. Hange understands Levi in a way no one else can. They literally read each other's mind and Hange is a person who completely and entirelly accepts Levi as he is warts and all and vice versa....

3) Petra imo wouldn't be a suitable partner to Levi because of the age difference and Levi's incredibly large emotional baggage not to mention his character. She seems like she accepts it but i think it's only because she doesn't need to Constantly interact with him.

I have answered a simmilar ask. I think Petra would struggle in a relationship with Levi. Levi needs someone "unconventional" just like he is. Petra would feel best in a normal healthy relationship where her partner isn't emotionally constipated and communicates his feelings, where he doesn't get violent when frustrated and where he isn't ridden with Various mental issues. Oluo is a perfect guy for her and i think They were intented to be a thing instead. Sadly it wasn't meant to be.

maybe it’s that taste of rebellion with going against the authorities/society/rules/of what has always been set to find out who they’re meant to be or, y’know, finding their identity without the shackles of others (like jack learning he has the potential to be a guardian and embracing it in his own time, and rapunzel realizing she’s the lost princess and works hard to be a good one), 

or there’s something about the mystery that follows the other because they’ve never met anyone quite like them (like exploring a world they’ve never set foot on), 

or finding all the good and bad in each other and in their differences, but still loving the other for who they are, 

or what one lacks the other makes up for it and vice versa. with or without them realizing they can help each other grow to be a better version of themselves.

while they grew up and learned how to cope with life differently, they somehow still share the same sentiments when it comes to, for example, reaching their goals. 

they have their own way to go about it, sure, but my point is they can reach a common ground better together compared when they’re with others.

like rapunzel with the lanterns, and jack with his memories. at first, one hesitated and wavered, while the other disagreed and pulled away. it was only after they saw a chance/realized this was it that they agreed in a heartbeat

they ultimately made the choice of diving in head first regardless of their initial thoughts in the first place. kinda like the moment they realized they can be a step closer to what they’ve been yearning for their whole life

not only that, but they can also be soft, gentle, understanding despite rapunzel’s spontaneuosness and jack’s mischievousness. we’ve seen them interacting with children and they’re so good at lifting their spirits up to have some fun and that there will always be a tomorrow.

and with their peers too. rapunzel lights up even the darkest of rooms, may it be like fireworks to bring joy or a campfire to warm one’s heart. jack meanwhile keeps things light when everyone else feels tense, easing others to relax and remember there’s always a way out

don’t forget the way they both sacrifice themselves for who they care for. like, they just do that, putting others first before them. that scene of saving eugene and baby tooth aaahhhhdjhdskdjkbkfjdkjf

and when everything comes crashing down and the world feels heavy on their shoulders, they both know they’re not alone with the other there for them.

maybe it’s the mutual understanding they have for each other after opening up, and finding a friend/partner/home through the connection they made together,

or they could be a push and pull that leads them to showing an unexpected side of the other, but in reality they always had it in them and all they needed was someone to show the way,

or how they complement each other, but they’re not two halves of a whole, no, rather they’re already whole themselves and they only reminded each other that they are,

or it’s simply because they don’t feel the need to put up walls or anything of the likes, because they know that no matter what they’ll be accepted for who they are.

in another POV it could be because of how they give such partners in crime vibe. lowkey or highkey, take your pick. nothing would stop them from moving forward to a new tomorrow, or honestly whatever it is they put their minds to.

rapunzel wants to see the world, what goes out there, with the people, society, and history i feel. and jack can take her to wherever she wants to go. hell, he’ll even surprise her and bring her to places he’d think she’ll like.

with his experiences, he’s bound to have an endless list of plans for them to go through and it’s no surprise that she’ll love it, and (him) his gesture, nonetheless

jack wants to be noticed by others, to be seen and heard for who he is. and rapunzel is such a welcoming person that she accepts him wholeheartedly. give him the love he was deprived of for years. 

reassure him that even he has a place to call home because why would he be excluded from that? he deserves it just as much as she and everyone else does

short answer: no. its not surprising

long answer:

the thing with the girl (in all my canons but ill focus on twitterverse here ofc) is that the fab four dont really... advertise that they have her? theyre already Very wanted by the city (even moreso in SOA) and the girl is Also very wanted by the city so they try to keep a low profile and not like. spread around that theyre raising this highly wanted and important child (BLI knows abt her powers but the fab four kinda dont) bc otherwise the pursuit would be so truly relentless. sure, they take her places and they dont really Hide her but if you consider that cherri didn't know they had her despite it a) being up on the fab fours reputations and b) being Really close with doc who's like... the reason that the four have her then yeah, its not common knowledge that the fab four have a kid.

but like. esp kobras reputation doesnt really have to do with anyone else? like he doesnt have a reputation as being an asshole or being widely hated or a loner or anything he's got a reputation of being a fucking good racer, a quick fighter, and a bit easy. none of the fours reputations Really have to do with them being idk, cruel, just standoffish and wild and yknow, teenagers/young adults (like age range 19-25) in the zones. when you contextualize them as parents/guardians/whatever then things like kobra and ghoul never inviting their hookups back to the diner, party being a bit reclusive and mysterious, even jet having like. a Thing with mad gear but not touring with him or anything starts to make sense.

for the twins their interactions with kobra/the four before they found out about the girl were 1) a mostly-chance encounter in zone five (only two of them) 2) a trade where somehow a toy robot meant more to kobra than getting revenge on cherri did (and only three of them went into the hideout) and 3) a bar fight where again, the whole crew wasnt there. so taking those encounters and combining them with the well-known fact that the four had taken a risky and short-notice run into the City and the lesser-known fact that doc had intel in an important kid needing to get out of the city in the same timeframe, cherri puts those pieces together really fast when he sees the picture that kobra had in his backpack during the race

all this to say that cherri rolls up to that shipment interception and comes face-to-face with the girl for the first time and is met with a) jet, clearly unenthusiastic about it interacting with their kid b) kobra, fairly neutral on the whole thing but him and cherri had also had. a few more encounters then the rest of them and c) party outright telling it to fuck off and not talk to their kid and it goes "oh these motherfuckers are protective"

newsie was probably more surprised but also zie had even Fewer interactions with the four and didn't really see them with the girl until after party had been taken which really had everyone thrown for a loop. chimp was the least surprised bc well, the four had nothing against her when she met them, really, other than maybe thinking she had bad taste, so there was no animosity like there was with the twins. she managed to sweet talk them into letting her hold the girl on the first meeting by smiling and asking and , behind her, pony and doc flashed a thumbs up at a suspicious-looking jet

and like, despite them being not nice to outsiders (to say the least), theres nothing about their reputations to suggest that theyd be mean to each other. crews (esp in my canons) are SO reliant on liking and trusting the other people in them, if the four have a kid its not out of a sense of obligation or anything, its because some part of them Wanted to raise a kid and theyre gonna do their goddamn best with her. if that includes four highly-lethal and wanted rebels stacking blocks and babytalking at a toddler whose first five words included three swears then hey, so be it

god god god okay you already god a short answer but to sum up (again) its not surprising as much as eye opening, throws a bit of light on why the four act like they do about certain things.

I just saw myself on Suna... Deeply....and it kinda slapped me harder than i was expecting...there were too many things from him giving himself to mari/treating her like he wants to be treated... To deleting his best friend from social media thanks to his girlfriend... And it really hurt me ahah..

I would honestly end Mari there, i wouldnt even bother to just retort i would walk my way into to the damn apartment and fucking take Suna for myself cause Mari does not deserve him. Shes manipulative, and in a way abusive.. Not allowing him to keep contact with his best friend his a total redflag and o know its because Suna had feelings for y/n and vice versa but Suna never gave het a reason to distrust him.

The moment he said he was best friends with y/n and was single she immediately clinged himself to him and for what? To then dump him like he was trash...

and now suna is back with YN because they will always have each other. but honestly,,,if we think about it, if mari never broke up with suna or at least gave him the chance to explain himself - if mari didn’t do the exact thing YN did to suna years ago - he honestly would’ve been really happy with mari. they were going well. like yeah mari has always been toxic by pushing suna’s boundaries and asking him to unfollow his own best friend on social media, but he did it anyway. because he trusted their relationship. he wanted the best for them. 

also yeah, the parallels between mari and YN were intentional !!

It was horrible and scary, and Peter Parker likes women and only women, and he will never be anyone’s Skip. And he will never put himself in a position where there can be another Skip.

Mr Stark introduces Peter Parker to Harley Keener

Harley Keener looks hot good, hes tall and wears a leather jacket and cowboy boots with skinny jeans. He looks so out of place, but he doesn’t look bothered by it either

Peters heart skips a beat, but Peter chalks it up to be anxiety 

“Hey there Peter, I’m Harley”

Oh my god he has an accent, an actual southern accent

And doesn’t that just make Peters heart race 

“Tony here tells me you’re a real Einstein” He laughed

Harley laughed. Peter is not laughing

Peter hears his blood rushing, and feels himself go cold. His spidey-sense is just going off

Peter looks to Mr Stark whose smile falters at the look of pure-fear on Peters face

Mr Stark doesn’t know. Peter never told him. Any files about what happened never include Peters name, or any family members name, so Mr Stark wouldn’t have stumbled on it, unless he went into Peter’s Therapists notes, which he hasn’t because he may be nosy but he isn’t invasive 

Peter knows what this is, he knows he’s going into a panic attack. He was triggered and he needs to get out. Out out out before anything can happen

“So-sorry, I’ve gotta, I gotta go, something came up wi-with May. It was um, it was nice meeting you Harley.”

Peter left, and made it back home, though he doesn’t remember how he made it from Manhattan to Queens and into his apartment.

He’s home and it’s not the safest place, can’t go into his bedroom but it’s better than there

Tony beat him to the apartment (without Harley), already sitting with May when Peter walks in

May is quick to give Peter his favourite over-sized sweater (it makes him feel safe) sitting him down in the living room, putting a knit blanket over him, and giving a bottle of water. 

“Pete, you okay kid?” Mr Stark asks 

And Peter is fine, he always has been, so he nods 

“Do you want to talk about why you were triggered into a panic attack” His voice is soft as he speaks to Peter, like Peter would break

May sits next to Peter, pulling him into her 

“Adrian Toomes was not the first person Spider-Man sent to jail” Peter started the story like this because it was easier to tell it, his therapist may not be happy with it but she’ll be happy he’s making progress by telling some

“Spider-Man was 11 when he sent his first person to jail. It was a year long trial, one kid versus one 18 year old. He used to call Spider-Man, Einstein”

Peter seemed to be done with his explanation after this, deeming it enough information for Tony to understand what happened

It wasn’t 

But May sending a text that said “Search Skip Wescott” gave Tony the opportunity to find out what happened later 

(Tony is really pissed when he reads what happens, and makes sure Skip get transferred to worst prison and that he can never leave)

“Okay, Pete, I’ll talk to Harley about not calling you that. But Harley will be going to the same school as you, okay? That’s why I wanted you two to meet.”

After that first night Peter goes back to being his usual chipper self

And Harley starts at Midtown 

Peter was just rounding the corner outside of the school to see Harley getting dropped off by Happy

After a moment of hesitation Peter went up to Harley and offered to help him on his first day (because Peter will not let his overwhelming fear take over and he will be friendly for the sake of Mr Stark and that is all)

Despite Peter’s uneasiness and distrust Peter and Harley get on like a house on fire

Peter started to feel really close to Harley, and Harley would often throw his arm around Peter’s shoulder and call him things like sugar, or sweet thing or darling

And Peter liked that a lot, except he didn’t because it was weird (but he really did)

And Peter would always go tomato red whenever Harley was around

Even Ned and MJ recognized the crush Peter had on Harley and vice versa

“Dude when are you going to make a move on him?”

“What the fuck, Ned? I’m straight, Harley and I are friends”

“Peter are you being serious right now? You both obviously have a crush on each other. Harley knows you like him too.”

“The fuck MJ, I expected you to be more understanding about this. We are friends. Maybe I come off as gay to you because I choose to respect people and am not the exact definition of a ‘toxic male,’ but I don’t fucking like you guy assuming that I like men. Men ain’t shit and I’m not going to find myself in another situation like I used too. I like women”

“What’s your issue Peter? You homophobic now? Didn’t peg you as that.”

“Fuck MJ, this isn’t your business. I’m an ally, people love who they love, but I don’t like men, and you need to stop pushing that on me. I have my reasons, you have yours.”

Peter didn’t talk to them the rest of the day. Not because he was angry but because he was embarrassed that he said too much 

At the tower Peter and Harley were cuddled together sitting next to each other watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and talking

Peter really loved Harley’s Blue eyes

And his accent

And his face

And Harley in general

But totally only in a friends way

“I want to try something real quick, you can tell me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am” 

And then Harley kisses Peter

Without even thinking about it, Peter pushes Harley off of him and bolts, leaving the tower without his phone, shoes or bag, Peter just leaves

Once Peter gets outside he throws up, before his anxiety takes over again and he just runs and runs and runs

Harley is left now sitting on the ground, tears in his eyes, confused and hurt about what just happened

Tony makes it to Harley in record time thanks to Friday, and without a question Harley explains what happened

“I thought he liked me too, Tony, I really did. I don’t know how I messed up this bad.”

“I’m sorry Harls, Peter has been hurt a lot and I just don’t think he was ready yet emotionally for a relationship.”

Tony knows that Peter has probably just been triggered. He’s only heard Peter talk about girls romantically, never boys, but he was sure that Peter and Harley were going to be together at some point

Once Harley finally calms down enough and goes to his room Tony calls May

“May, is Peter with you, he left all his stuff here.”

“No, I thought he was staying with you tonight. what happened?”

“Harley kissed Pete, and he freaked out and ran out without any of his stuff, I was hoping he was with you. His phone is here too.”

“I think I know where he is, College Point Park. Ben and I used to take him there after any court date.”

“I’ll meet you there.”

“What about Harley?”

“He’s already asleep, I’ll meet you there.”

Tony and May get there in record time, finding Peter sitting on the rocks facing the East River.

“Peter?” May called out.

Peter turned around, his face clearly red, tears streaming down his face.

“I don’t understand” Peter finally said as May and Tony got close enough

“What don’t you understand?” Tony asked

“Harley kissed me. He kissed me. I expected to hate it. But I didn’t. I liked it when he kissed me. I should hate it though. He’s a boy. I shouldn’t have liked it.”

“Peter it’s okay if you liked Harley Kissing you, and it’s okay if you like him romantically too” May tried to comfort

“But it’s not May, because if I like Harley, and I like him kissing me then that means that I liked it when Skip kissed me. And I didn’t like anything he did to me.”

“Peter, I like when Pepper and I kiss, but that doesn’t mean that if May were to kiss me that I’d like it. Same thing goes for you kiddo.”

“I like girls though. I can’t like Harley.”

“You can like both boys and girls. You could be Bisexual or maybe not. No matter what it’s okay.” May said again.

“I need time. I can’t- I need Dr Rosenburg and I need to not be Spider-Man and I need to not see Harley or Ned or MJ. I need time.”

“Okay baby, you can have as much time as you need.” 

Peter ends up taking a week off of school, with daily appointments with his therapist. He went completely ghost mode. Wasn’t active as Spider-Man, wasn’t active on social media. Didn’t read or respond to anyone’s messages. Only talking to May or Tony and only if they were at the apartment.

After his week off, Peter finally reappeared at school, still having not responded to anyone’s messages, preferring to just deal with things in person.

“Peter oh my god you’re alive we all thought you died.” Ned shouted from down the hall going to greet his friend, MJ and Harley in tow.

“I’m fine guys, I just had some stuff from the past come back up that needed to be dealt with before I did anything that would hurt other people.”

“What are you talking about Parker, you wouldn’t hurt a fly let alone anyone else.” MJ said confused

“I’ll tell you when I’m ready too but I’m not there yet. My therapist thinks I made good progress this week though.”

“Your therapist?” Ned asked.

“Uh yeah, sorry. MJ, Ned, I really messed up with how I treated you guys the other day, regarding my sexuality, turns out I may of been wrong and you guys were right, I just repressed any of those emotions due to trauma. So, I’m sorry you didn’t deserve that.”

Ned and MJ obviously forgive Peter bc duh they’re friends

“I would like to talk to Harley privately though, so you guys wouldn’t mind?”

So Peter pulls Harley to the side finally getting the chance to talk to him, and wanted to say his words before he lost his nerves.

“Peter I’m sorry-”

“I liked when you kissed me. That’s why I freaked out. I didn’t think it was possible for me to like that, or men. I’m sorry for pushing you away. I wasn’t prepared and my brain automatically went to a dark place. I like you Harley Keener, but I have problems and I want you to be aware of that before we do anything.”

“Okay.”

“If we are going to try this I need you to be aware of my limits. I have a lot of them apparently, and I’m not sure if more will come up or not, but my therapist said that I should talk to you about this stuff before we do anything. If you still like me, that is.”

“Peter Parker you are too precious, of course I still like you, I don’t plan on not liking you for a while yet.”

And then Peter smiles and he feels relieved, because getting to this point took a lot of work and now he’s here and he likes a boy who likes him back who won’t hurt him

Things I don't understand in fanon:

Why does Cartman have his life better together than Stan? I understand Stan went through depression and addiction. But unlike Cartman he is aware of his habits. Cartman has alot of emotional issues. Having no father. Not knowing how to show emotions in a healthy way. Emotional eating. Mother who enables his behaviour. Sexual Abuse. Teenage Cartman would be a mess. And this intensifies when he goes through puberty and doesn't really understand the changes. He doesn't really trust anyone but himself. Stan unlike Cartman has a good mother who genuinely cares about him and wants him to be good. Has a father figure, even if that is Randy. But Randy still despite being an idiot and embarrassing spends time with Stan and tries to bond with him. The only emotional attachment we have seen Cartman having was with his stuffed animals. Since his mother is/was a crack addiction i could see Cartman becoming a drug addict too. Here's why:

Cartman has never learned to process his feelings the right way. He doesn't know how to deal with his issues the right way. Often becomes angry or gets in denial.

He is already an addict. Food.

Due his mothers influence.

He went through alot of abuse as a child he never really processes.

He lacks self control. Or has absolutely none of it. Since Liane never stopped his eating he never learned when to stop.

Puberty is a difficult phase. And I can imagine it being difficult to deal for someone like Cartman. He has no father figure who atleast helps him guide through the changes or he can look up too. Even if its just little things like (shaving) etc.. Hormones start going wild and Cartman was never someone who could deal with his emotions in a normal healthy way. His friends getting interested in sex. Cartman views sex as abuse so idk how that would make him feel. Not to mention his short ehem, size makes him insecure aswell.

He could feel scared or pressured of it. Therfor uses drugs to compensate.

Another thing is unlike Liane Sharon is concerned for her sons mental health. I'm assuming Stan will go to some therapy during his preteen.

Why is Kyle an emotional guide for Stan and not vice versa?

I know your thinking. But Stan had depression. He still shows his emotions in a healthier way. Even if that's shutting down sometimes. But that's what we all do. Or at least some. He gets sad when Wendy dumps him. Maybe wallows in self pity? Idk arguable. He is heartbroken and responds to it in a normal way. He gets sad for a while. He mourns the loss and then gets better. When Heidi went back to Cartman he got angry so he started a war with Canada and it indirectly nuked. Kyle is heartbroken but gets Canada nuked.

So In other words. Stan is more aware of his emotions. He knows when he feels sad, angry etc. Even when he's shutting them down or projecting on others.

Why is Stan's emotional growth ignored?

Yes he had depression in Season 15. But I feel like alot are just: " 🧑🏻👈 YOU! You were depressed as a child and drank alcohol and I don't care what realisation and growth you had in the later seasons. You will be a depressed alcoholic."

He knows he has addiction tendencies in Season 18. I know he was projecting on Butters the whole episode during the Pandemic Special. But at the end he was admitting his feelings, and that what counts for me. I can't just look at a character and say: " Oh you struggled. Therfore you will struggle the rest of your life. I don't care if you have gotten better."

I'm not saying that he can't have depression. It's just kinda. He's not just 100% Randy. And you shouldn't ignore the effects Sharon has by raising him.
