Tim fell in love with a barista. At first he had wondered if it was simply a mistake, to transfer his love for coffee to the person who produced it, but slowly he realized it was a little more than that.

Danny, the new barista, didn't really criticize him when he ordered 8 coffees a day, as long as he was on shift. He also didn't ask him about his health insurance every time he ordered Death Wish, and even made sure to make small talk every time he delivered his coffee.

It had only been a few days since he was hired but Tim fell in love with his small talk, his care, and of course, his coffee.

Then, when Danny was suspected of working with Two Face he was heartbroken. The boy was probably innocent, but he couldn't get out of his head that nothing in Gotham was simple, everyone kept secrets, including himself. So he made up his mind to stay away from Danny, for his sake.

Danny, for his part, was Harvey Dent's assistant and a part-time barista, he just wanted to distract himself and Harvey was strangely sympathetic after telling him about running away from home. Kind of like a guy you stay with during the vacations, but more permanent.

The halfa started to worry when the cute boy from the cafe stopped coming, maybe he was in danger? Danny couldn't help but worry, but when his coworkers told him Tim was coming in on other shifts he wondered if the boy was avoiding him.

The Giw plan to prove a point. Prove ghost are just as awful as they claim. Prove to anyone who may doubt them.

The best way to do that. Obviously a live stream. One to prove ghost don’t feel pain and that no other ghost would come to help. Claiming only humans have come to the aid of the captured ghost prior to this.

They do this to phantom. There biggest menace. The Giw don’t plan to let him fool their audience. So they do something so he can’t react.

I’d imagine once that livestream happened. The hero’s would act. They wouldn’t stand idly by.

Either the hero’s or the ghosts could get there first. My first thought are the ghost getting there first.

Wulf, Frostbite, Pandora, Dorathea, and maybe even some of his rogues.

All while the camera is rolling they show up in a green portal. Frostbite just starts patching him up. The others taking action.

Then yelling at the Agents that they hurt a child of the realm. Then to add in drama maybe threatening war. After the scene take off to the realm.

It’s only then a hero arrives. Just in time for them to leave.

That’s when the investigation happens. Leading back to amity back to the source. The justice league or anyone involved trying to make things right.

Batman probably making plans for worse case scenario. The fentons do have anti ecto weapons. Ones that trapped of stopped there powers may come in handy.

By wither Danny’s calmed them down enough to let him go at home. Or maybe Danny wants nothing to do with the human realm.

there obv IS a prevalent and aggravating trend of stories having an antagonist who correctly identifies a flaw in society and aims to fix it but also commits atrocities along the way that the narrative claims to undermine the entire goal and then when the hero defeats them it is in the name of the status quo - but people sometimes point to legend of korra as an example of this which is so annoying bc like man how can you not understand a show written for children. every single season ends with korra defeating the villains and then saying "they had some points tho!" and then changing the status quo to address the flaw the villain identified

I'm watching the owl house reruns on disney channel before the new ep and I'm watching the basement scene in thanks to them and i had a thought.

so I don't really remember whether this was confirmed or not but the house in Luz's backyard was supposed to be the Wittebane's old house, given that's where the portal door opens to right?

the height of the witch hunts in Connecticut was in the 1600s, so I'm assuming that Philip is at least from that century, which means that the house has been standing since at least that time and if so it's in really great condition considering its made of wood and the most it has on it is a couple of holes and a ton of crap thrown around

the point of this post is really just to point out that a lot of someones must have lived in that house after the brothers abandoned it for the demon realm, at least until the 20th century, because the basement has electricity, and presumably so does the rest of the house. the Hexsquad could've at most fixed it but I doubt that they could've installed one, much less in the basement bc Luz had to rip the rest of the wallpaper on the wall to get to the door.

idk this fact does absolutely nothing but i just think the history of the house is interesting. how it's been just been standing there all this time and no one has bothered to take it down or renovate and accidentally find the titan's blood rebus, not even anyone who lived in the Noceda's house before they moved to Gravesfield.

I still can't believe out of everyone and everything that could have gotten rid of the loophole in Angel's curse, it was Illyria (strongly hinted at the very end of the season 12 comics). Just goes to show how the Powers That Be don't care about their champions, and are really kind of evil (though we already knew that). And they were probably keeping the loophole on purpose, thinking that if it wasn't there he and Buffy would just run off and be happy together instead of fighting for them, the bastards.

Since she was in the League, Cass noticed a shadow watching her, but it never took aggressive actions against her, on the contrary, the shadow always seemed to try to help her. It gave her medicine or cures for her wounds, on one occasion it gave her an ice sculpture of a dancer, it was beautiful.

The shadow didn't seem to want to fight with her, and it was impossible for them to communicate because of this. It didn't seem to have a body either so she couldn't read its body language (Though Cass was sure that the shadow was trying to form a more stable body, maybe even resembling a human).

When she moved in with the Waynes the shadow followed her (and even formed a more human body), that's when she understood. The shadow was trying to be human.

And her "lessons" began (She was determined to teach her shadow friend about humanity, even if she herself was learning), Cass taught it sign language at the same time she was learning, and her deductions proved to be correct when the shadow was finally able to explain to her why it stayed.

His name was Danny, a ghost who had been alone so long that he had lost his humanity, the only language he remembered was that of his old friend: Wulf. Although he had lost his humanity long ago, Danny was still human, more or less (Cass didn't understand that part, probably a mistranslation?)

The shadow wanted to be human like her, learn the language, how to relate and so on. As her lessons continued, the shadow's body began to change more until she found herself facing a teenager who looked just like a male version of herself (Cass wondered if Danny copied her appearance).

Despite that achievement, it was obvious that his Eldritch characteristics weren't completely gone, and he still had a hard time being human, but he looked so proud that she couldn't ask him to shapeshift. So she had to follow her lessons while she concealed a teenage Eldritch who would give her father a cardiac arrest if he discover it.

Oh, and that while she was trying to keep Alfred and Steph from finding out, easy right?

Morty fidgets with the box in his hands. He has picked a paper with punk decorations to wrap it, thinking that it would be fitting his friend's tastes, but now he's starting to wonder if he should have picked something less...flashy. He's never been too good with gifts. He does his best to make them as thoughtful as possible, but that's not always enough. He has sort of made peace with it, yet he can't help being anxious in this particular occasion. Bebop and Rocksteady are the first cool people who have openly welcomed him in their gang and he wants to impress them. Well, stalling won't help him. So, he takes in a deep, calming breath and approaches the mutant. "Uh, h-hey, I mean...Hi," he stutters out, mentally cringing. Great, he's already making a fool of himself. "S-So, Rocksteady mentioned that today would be your birthday an-and...I thought that I should get you, uh, something." And with that, he hands out the gifts. Under the paper there's a slick, dark purple box, a little casket holding a collection of selected music albums. They are shaped like small, flat squares and they are obviously not from Earth. "Y-You can listen to them with...well, everything. J-Just set it on whatever device you want to use. T-The thing will attach itself to it an-and...then use the device as you'll normally do." He rubs the back of his neck with a nervous smile. "T-They are...it's alien music, b-but it's basically all rock, punk and similar. I-I hope you'll like it. H-Happy birthday!" [🎸]   Rocksteady gifted Bebop a vintage set of punk badges earlier which he's already wearing proudly all over his red vest. And, after days of constant begging, Krang finally improved Bebop's arcade station with another bunch of 'brainless' games, as the Utrom would call them. (However, Krang also installed a device into the arcade that might be more than the Mutant bargained for, but that would be subject to another day).

Shredder on the other hand would organize a bunch of Foot Soldiers to leave a huge pile of pizza boxes in the Mutant's abode. It is the Ninja Master's way of making sure the 'giant baby' would stay quiet for a while instead of pestering him all day about going to a funfair for his birthday like every year.

And so, Bebop is stuffing another rolled-up piece of pizza into his snout before turning a curious gaze at Morthy. He didn't really expect any visitors, let alone more gifts. His pointy ears perk up in excitement and he yanks the box out of Morty's hands. "Woah, youse even brought me somethin'? Lemme see what'cha got!" The excitement of getting a gift wrapped in rad-looking papers is overpowering the urge to poke fun at Morty for acting like a shy schoolgirl, despite it lying on the top of the mutant's tongue.

Upon discovering the weird flat squares, Bebop tilts his head in confusion. But Morty's explanation quickly shifts his mood into pure joy again.

"You mean like N'-sho-v? Damn Morty, we listened to that in one of those weird spaceships. Idunno where they came from, but that sound was fuckin' rad. Rock an' I named our dinosaur after it. That's remindin' me, YOU still need a gang name too, because 'Morty' ain't it! Youse know what? I go get Rock an' then we listen these babies together! Maybe we find somethin' that's fittin' you!"

starting to actually Get the concept of like. putting spikes on your jacket. i've spent any number of years now being like. noooo i can't put up armor against the big mean world!! that's how you lose yourself!! i don't wanna have to act tough i don't wanna have to put up facades that i can't back up and real bravery is going through the world soft and vulnerable anyway!!! and uh drinking too much of your 'im softe' juice when you still need to work on boundaries is. y'know. not the best great combo.

anyway now i work in retail and i stg not a week goes by where some guy tries to like. jovially clap me on the shoulder. bonus points for making it A Thing if i actually duck away from it now like damn we don't need to Have A Conversation about this just gtfo of my six feet.
