i feel as if im going mad so im going to just put this out here. real quick. movieunleashers starters ramble.

i cant stop thinking about how mudkip broke down in that one scene in "Typomaniac," when Chespin called him mean. for a second he lets his mask slip a little bit and to me he just... acts his age. he starts crying and calls chespin mean back. maybe im just hyperfocusing on this one detail but mudkip is about 12 years old.

and that just makes me wonder what happened in this guys life that brought him to where he is now. and it makes it all the more tragic how his whole world revolves around chespin, but he is the one bringing him the most pain. and how young he was when he died.

there is a large theme of growing up in "Rare Candy." the characters ages are emphasized in that particular episode, and one of the main conflicts is fennekin wanting to evolve faster.

the thing about characters in these stories is that they're not allowed to just be kids, to have a childhood. so many bad things happen to them. like. mudkips whole, Everything. fennekin when she was famous in typomaniac, or dealing with her own insecurities/pressure from society about her relationship w chespin. and chespin always having to shoulder his friends problems & always somehow managing to stay positive despite everything.

why cant they just. play video games. eat ice cream or something. go to the movies

at the end of the day, i think both mudkip and fennekin are characters who grew up too fast. by distancing himself from them, chespin refused to follow in their footsteps and just wanted to stay a kid.

On one hand my one sister is Big Stupid and pregnant again, which I wouldn't care as much about if this wasn't the fourth kid with the fourth shitty fucking father who will do nothing but cause even MORE pain and suffering to my sister's life, and on the other hand my other sister keeps sending me apartment ads which is very sweet because she ALSO just had a baby (in August and also her situation is stable, I'm very proud she managed to pull off what she did considering where she's come from. Her boys, especially Older Nephew were SO excited for the baby and I love listening to Older Nephew talk about his sister, it's so heartening to see him so happy and excited. Something tells me my other sisters 3 girls won't be nearly as impressed, especially not Oldest Niece and it's gotten to a point where I feel somewhat compelled to try and mentor this poor kid but I don't know SHIT about kids and don't want to let this poor kid down like everyone else has, she deserves better than that).

Granted my whole life I've preferred Apartment Sister to Making Poor Life Choices sister but also recently Making Dumb Choices has made some serious improvements to her life, very impressive ones too, so it's just disappointing to watch her backslide especially into the same bullshit she's been doing since she was 18 and is now 32. But at least I'm not the only one apartment hunting 😂😂 her efforts are super appreciated given that she just moved herself as well, plus having a fresh baby (very cute baby too). Now with any luck my OTHER sibling will get her shit together hopefully before we're on child number six with father number six with all the same fucking personality flaws and mental health problems not one of these men take even remotely seriously because that's exhausting to me let alone my damn sister.

i think him genuinely trying to be there for her is a lot of awkward tough love because he doesnt really know how to go about it but at the same time his presence is exactly what she needs to overcome her fears. and i think he tries to say "dont worry" verbally so that maybe itll get thru to her a little bit more, especially when he wont Be there anymore to Say it out loud to her so he has to kinda beat it thru her skull Now

also smth abt royal trio all being acutely aware of all of their differing levels of suicidal ideation™️ because i think all of them have some variety of it. and ofc theyre the only ones they can depend on in this fucjed up ideal reality so they link themselves together as tightly as possible to prevent any spiraling.

(long post about purgatory and meta and rp)

sigh one thing ive been thinking is that it feels a bit unfair to see so many people complaining or doomposting over how purgatory affects the overarching qsmp rp story or how it ~interrupted arcs~ or is ~disturbing current storylines~ or ~narratively unsatisfying~ like. Sure. its a bit abrupt and most players were caught off guard because lore-wise it stems from the federation which means none of them were told about anything beforehand

but... its only been three days. maybe we could have a little faith? like idk ill be soooooo out there rn and say that maybe the admins did this now for a reason. maybe itll make sense later on. we already see lore repercussions with elquackity and his motives and all the nods to the eggs.

theres fair criticism to be made (when done respectfully) if youre mainly here for the roleplay but i feel like we sometimes need to remind ourselves that the qsmp storytelling is a VERY ambitious project. lmao. imagine being the writing team and trying to wrangle 20+ characters with distinct points of view and journeys on an ever-changing story because of the very nature of live rp. its practically IMPOSSIBLE to tie up every loose end neatly and at this point i dont think we should expect that. keeping up momentum with all plotlines must also be pretty hard, cc's schedules and outside factors like server programming and building and mod tweaking and all those meta elements considered and so on and so on

i DO also want the story to move forward and be cohesive and make sense in a satisfactory way. like i really do!!!!!!! but i try to understand that thats not ALL the qsmp is about. from the start quackity said the server wouldn't be exclusive to the rp aspect. it sure is that way right now, but thats because most of the active members are VERY passionate about roleplaying. thats a good thing! they have fun and its fun to watch and the experience is mostly good for everyone because it corresponds to their expectations to an extent

the thing about purgatory is that i feel like its a lot more meta than most people doomposting realize. it ties into the story, sure, but to me it feels like the sudden switch in environment and vibes and stakes isnt actually catered to the rp and thats FINE. like thats not what it exists for and thats fineeeeeee

pac for one has said he appreciates the event for the change of pace, though its very hard (lol), because regular qsmp was starting to feel a bit stale to him and he was kind of running out of things to do. THATS A GREAT THING! managing player engagement like that is awesome and sometimes necessary. YES, purgatory caters to a very different playstyle than what we're used to -- and thats one of its strenghts.

a lot of hispanic creators have also felt this!!!! roier, rivers and carre most prominently have been VERY excited about this event because its similar in format to a lot of spanish speaking events like mc extremo and such. a lot of these players are also not particularly interested in rp-ing and had not been logging on very often prior to purgatory.

even roleplay regulars like tubbo, fit and bbh have shown interest in purgatory for the competitive nature of the setting!!! thats cool too!!!! something different, new possibilities to play around with. thats what the events should be about. kudos to the admins and dev teams for attempting it in such a big scale. their effort shows and all the mechanics weve seen are really fucking cool

i love the roleplay!!!!!! its one of my favorite parts of the qsmp!!!!!! but its not ALL there is and it shouldnt be! non rp-oriented creators are also part of the project and deserve to have a little fun too -- not to mention a big chunk of the hispanic fan community that has blown up twitter with support bc what we have rn is similar to events they already love!!!!!!! im glad to see so many of them get excited again!!!!!!

at the end of the day, qsmp is a LONG long term project, and purgatory ends in two weeks. by the time its over, we can all choose to engage with it as we wish. it can be a big filler episode in your mind, if you want. it can be just for fun..... otherwise, if its not fun, your regularly scheduled qsmp will be back soon anyway :3 its fine to not like it, its fine to have something negative to say about it if properly tagged and not like. crazy entitled or blown out of proportion for what this situation is.

i just hope we can all manage our online experiences accordingly and avoid making things less enjoyable for each other. this is supposed to be fun

more moonlight shit before i get my irl shit together (idk how many more posts itll take </3)

once again, spoilers for the movie yall its pride just watch it pls, and discussion abt topics the movie touched upon

honestly my one gripe with moonlight is if it were a mini series or a tv show where the story was able to take place over multiple episodes and all of its symbolism was allowed to sink in with the audience for them to decode, literally that will be my favourite tv show and it would get a 10/10 rating from me. it felt too short (even tho it was like almost 2 hours long), or more like we weren't able to fully connect/sink in with characters other than chiron

not like i couldnt connect with kevin and paula and other chars, but moreso their stories blended a little too well into the background and if it weren't for my natural overthinking habit then i probably would've needed a couple of rewatches to fully grasp their internal struggles

that being said, as i rewatch it it somehow just keeps on getting better. i start noticing how kevin puts on a mask of confidence for his masculinity in front of others but not chiron (when they were kids he was already like that at school, ect) he gave into peer pressure to conform into what society wanted of him rather than what he wanted, and there were hints of that sprinkled through-out (though it was never said out loud)

honestly that scene with chiron and kevin at the beach has me punching air for a lot of reasons

the color white ive noticed can symbolize uncertainty or moreso innocence and softness in the movie, compared to how the color black is used to represent the tough image characters potray to hide their emotions in the beach scene, kevin wears a white shirt with chiron, showing how he's more soft whenever he's with him. but the dialogue shows how he still has his guard up, but he's trying to gauge out how soft he can truly be with chiron, how safe he is with him

but chiron is also still putting his guard up, so its 2 awkward teenagers gauging out how honest and vulnerable they can be with each other as they take small steps towards that and its SO FUCKING CUTE

also when u rlly take into consideration the color symbol, u start to notice it like EVERYWHEREE. i dont doubt some of it is for color cohesion and so the movie has a cohesive look, but things i notice like juan's outfit change during the little section,

where at the start his shirt has so many different colors he's a complicated individual with a complex past, his pants are white which match how he seems softer on the outside but his durag is black, and this might be me stretching, but i think it could represent how his mentality is that tough mindset that doesn't allow for vulnerability

meanwhile teresa's outfit is a complementary opposite when we first see her, she's wearing a black top with a white headband; she puts on a tough exterior but her mindset is softer, more kindhearted than she lets on (which again matches her behaviour when we first see her character)

when juan drives little back home, he's dressed in all black EXCEPT for a yellow inner shirt (literally i noticed it last minute rewatching), and if u saw my last post, if yellow does rlly represent that sense of familiarty, then the outfit could be like how to paula he's this tough guy that isn't soft at all but little knows inside that he and juan are close, like father and son

when juan takes little home, he wears a mainly blue shirt with red stripes; to little, he's more vulnerable with him now, with maybe hints of insecurity regarding his past identity and how he's had to make his own name

also knowing paula does drugs, rewatching the scene where the tv is gone hits HARD now that u realize she sold the tv to get money for drugs

Headcanons for OFA stockpiles beauty, tddk version, please.

1- ok so dorms happen earlier in the first semester, after the revelation that Shigaraki carries a picture around of Izuku and the winged nomu targeted him to carry off. But in the meantime while they're being built, UA is like 'maybe we should get this kid a protective detail or someone at least watching him off campus'. Tenya and Shoto are both in the hospital room while that's discussed, and both immediately offer their connections- but with the Iida family focusing on their sons right now, it makes more sense to see if they can take the Todorokis up on it instead. Which means that now, Izuku is alternating between staying with All Might (doesn't want to impose or run more of his time down) or the Todorokis (also doesn't want to impose, but its nice to get to know his friend more!)

2- Enji isn't thrilled about the protective detail, but he figures pretty quickly this kid's got some connection to All Might and would like to figure out what- and uh yeah Shoto's crush on him is as obvious as it is understandable, so he wants to keep an eye on that to make sure he isn't distracted now that he's finally using his fire.

He is very specific about Izuku getting a guest room in a different wing of the house from Shoto.

It doesn't matter much, since they spend a lot of time out with friends after school or together in the living room or dojo anyway.

3- Fuyumi decides to try and help her brother out, asking Izuku a couple questions while he's helping her cook and Shoto's gone to visit Rei one Sunday. She says she's sure he's the heartbreaker of his class, any datemate?

Izuku laughs uncomfortably, says no, but gets why she asked- its a side effect of his quirk, he isn't really as attractive as it seems, no one is actually likes him, just the quirk tricking them too.

Fuyumi gets very quiet and very serious, and says she's sorry. Sometimes, quirks don't seem worth the trouble, and he's in hard spot- but she's sure at some point, someone will see the real him, and like the real him, besides from the glamour. Izuku thanks her, and after dinner Fuyumi pulls Shoto aside to bring up the quirk and if he thinks he's under the effect of it, or if he has a real crush on him.

Shoto stares at her, and says he doesn't have a crush on Izuku, he's just objectively attractive and a brilliant friend.

Fuyumi realizes he's as oblivious as Izuku, and both beyond her help.

4- Shoto realizes that night that Fuyumi was right, but as a youngest sibling is physically incapable of admitting that so soon, and decides to simply act as if it was a slowburn unrelated to anything she said, and that itll probably be easy, since Izuku is so clearly over any attempts to woo him. He doesn't want to be pushy. He doesn't want Izuku to feel like Rei. So instead, he just acts friendly. Gets him All Might merch for his birthday, keeps a poker face when Izuku joins them in the hot spring at camp even if he cant quite control the temperature reaction, and keeps a lookout/causes distractions to make having quiet meetings with All Might easier for him.

5- Ok i dont know how but imagine whatever convoluted scenario needs to happen for Izuku to get shot with a temporary eraser bullet. this is mostly because he deserves to go feral and smart and fight quirkless again, but also because everyone realizes he does look/seem different this way, until the glamour comes back- everyone except Shoto, who didn't notice a difference and says it, which startles some tears out of Izuku only for him to bury that deep, deep down because he's got a while before he's gonna confront the mortifying ordeal of having a crush of his own

RE the Orym/Fearne convo; do you think they’re actually planning on killing Imogen or just incapacitating her?

On the one hand these people are a threat to the Air Ashari and have attacked them before, and I can easily Orym being this ruthless.

On the other hand, I don’t see why Orym would delegate to Fearne unless they were talking about taking her out non-lethally? She seems much more suited to (and less conflicted about) being the distraction.

(I also think it would be kind of hilarious for Ashley and Liam’s plan to just be “knock her out, grab her, leg it” and for the two of them to have chosen just the most euphemistically loaded way possible to discuss this at the table)

Sorry for the delay on this, my brain is cooperating excellently and thats why it took multiple days to watch a two minute conversation. Now that I HAVE seen it, with the caveat of still not having watched the rest of the episode:

I think the plan is to do whatever is needed, in the moment- the conversation felt more like trying to prepare themselves for the possibility, not just for "taking Imogen out" but for acting against her at all. Acknowledging the amount of danger Imogen poses, locking eyes, asking each other: are you with me? always.

They both say, at different points through the conversation: this probably wont be necessary. I'm sure it will be fine. Itll be good! There are already so many things to worry about. But that silent "if", was finally spoken too. If its not fine? If the worst comes to pass? If Imogen becomes another concern, in the middle of hell?

Orym asking Fearne to do the deed was a little surprising, but rewatching that exchange, and thinking about the opposite, I think it makes sense. Fearne is well suited for a distraction, yeah, but- this is more than that. This is an intentional deception against someone Fearne likes very much, that Fearne really cares about. It would be a deception intended to end in harm to something she loves. I think that's very different from the lies Fearne likes to tell. I think it would be- difficult, at best.

On top of that- Imogen is dangerous. They love her, but they know- she is powerful, immensely so. And so against them- she is dangerous.

The person in the "distraction" role is the one most likely to be in danger. im not sure Orym could contend with giving that role to Fearne, even if it means the final moves are less lethal than is necessary.

(Maybe there is a part of him that hopes for that, too. Neither of them want to do this. Both of them hoping for the best. Curtwen hc time! Bc we always need some more of these. (And strap in theres a few—)

First things first, i ADORE your last hc with Curt finding out about Owen first. I love the lines of dialogue beforehand between the two of them so SO much. I like that Owen would be like "stop tickling!" rather than "stop tickling ME", makes him sound more british.

Alr here are my thoughts:

Curt obviously spends a lot of time on his hair to keep it ✨️perfect✨️, but actually so does Owen. Owen uses a lot of product to keep his longer hair silky and soft, while Curt uses product specifically for looks. SO Owen loves that when theyre making out his hair ends up all up in Curt's face. Curts squinting and squirming and like "Owehehen- use a hair tie!" and Owens like "I literally just washed my hair, I'm not going to ruin it now-" so Curt has to suffer through giggles.

I will always and forever adore Barb being unwillingly involved in the boys' lil games, SO— Curt keeps asking and asking Barb to buildnhim somrthing that'll help him get revenge on Owen, but he never specifies what he wants the invention to do. So Barb's like "Mega, if you cant tell me what you want the invention to DO, i cant make one for you!!" and Curt tries to explain it in the vaguest way possible so that 1) she doesnt think he only wants it for himself and 2) itll still do what he wants it to do. And wventually when she connects the dots she teases the hell outta him. Curt makes excuses about the 'bad guys' bring thrown offguard or itd be helpful in interrogations, but Barb says "no one would ever use tickling in an interrogation, Mega" and Curt doesnt have the willpower or pride to correct her.

Owen has ticklish arms. There i said it. He wore a tak top while he and Curt were cuddling, and Curt just traced lines up and down the soft skin of his inner/outer arm. He tries SO FREAKING HARD not to tense his muscles because he knows as soon as he does Curt will notice. So hes just like "Curt could you cut it out? You're nails are itching me." and tries to move out of the way. But Curt senses somethings up and prods him (figuratively and literally) about it until he spills. Owen's laughter from soft tickles is so much different from when he's "getting wreckt". Its very breathy and soft, and he covers his face with the back of his hand to hide himself, but doesnt actively lean away from the feeling. Curt gets heart-eyes and immediately wants to hear more. Owen's throwing insults at him to stop, but he just lays there giggling into the side of the couch.

Finally, LETS👏TALK👏ABOUT👏CURT'S👏TICKLISH👏EARS👏. Our canon. Our bread and butter. Curt originally hates wearing earpieces because Barb hadn't perfected the technology yet and it always buzzed. He got yelled at because one time on a very important mission in Budapest Curt was losing his gd mind with how tingly his ear was feeling and he had to take it off. When Barb couldn't get ahold of him, she knew she'd give him an earfull later. Curt also has issues with Owen. Now, Owen loves Curt's ears. He thinks theyre a cute shape and he loves that theyre so sensitive. Owen adores tracing them and pecking them. Depending on the day, Curt wil either get major goosebumps from Owen, or lose his shiy immediately as he did in the famous interrogation scene. Owen always keeps an ostrich feather in his coat pocket. He rarely uses it, but he likes that Curt knows its always there. Its like its watching him 👀

I absolutely LOVE the difference in hair care between the 2 because they both obsess over their hair in different ways. Curt will style & gel his hair before he even thinks about stepping out the door because he’s always gotta look his best. Meanwhile Owen takes fucking forever after his shower brushing it & putting products in it to help it grow, heal split ends, make it soft, literally the works. Curt’s always like what the hell takes you so long??? & Owen’s just like “you have your hair routine, I have mine”

But it makes his hair so silky smooth & soft & it’s the perfect length to brush against Curt’s neck & ears when they cuddle or make out & it makes him so blushy & giggly because wtf hair shouldn’t tickle! But Owen absolutely loves the fact that he doesn’t even have to use his hands to get him laughing

On a related note, his stubble is the bane of Curt’s existence, it should be illegal

& omg Barb is constantly flipping between extremely amused & very annoyed, these boys never give her a fucking break! She’s so patient with Curt trying to find out what the fuck he actually wants from her, but he won’t stop beating around the bush & is being vague af. So she’s just like “damn if you can’t even say it you can’t be trusted with it” & then he tries to make more of an effort to actually describe what it is he’s looking for & she just gets more amused by the second. & when she says no one would use that in an interrogation he like mumbles under his breath something like “well Owen did” or “must be an MI6 thing” & he’s just being classic sassy Curt but she hears what he said & is like wait a fucking second. “Curt you can’t be serious. Agent Carvour is a professional” & he’s getting flustered & huffy & just goes “yeah, a professional pain in my ass. So can you make it or what?” She has it ready for him by lunch the next day & demands a “full report” on the device’s performance. She even had a sticky note with it that just says “give him hell ;)”

FMVRMAGELW I AM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH RN! TICKLISH ARMS ARE SO UNDERRATED! Sorry for yelling but this really has me in a chokehold. Owen is pretty averagely ticklish in all the normal spots, but I like to imagine he’s a lot more sensitive in harder to reach or more unconventional spots like his arms. Light touches here drive him up the fucking wall ok, he cannot take it whatsoever. Immediately breaks down in a fit of giggles. He tries to hold out, but breathy snickers always force their way out as he squirms around trying to suppress his wide dopey ass grin. Curt thinks it’s the cutest fucking thing he’s ever seen in his life, & he’s right. His forearms are pretty bad & he can’t help but twitch away with a huff of laughter when Curt brushes over the skin there. But his biceps? That’s a good way to kill him. Light tickles there will have him in shrill hysterics & squeezing the muscle will draw out full on belly laughs. Owen didn’t even know he was ticklish there until Curt, & so he was really trying to hide the spot from the both of them. Because what a stupid fucking spot to be ticklish, he did not need to know how sensitive that spot was & he really didn’t need Curt to find out either. But he can’t lie to him, so they went in a little journey of discovery together

hueningkai couldnt help the massive crush he developed on you recently. everyone knows a lonely subconscious that finds its way to a close friend can be the most lethal thing to ones psyche. some people could even go from hating someone to having a desperate love for them after one inconvenient night. unfortunately for kai, a single cute dream where you two were too close for comfort has triggered the most painstakingly violent love for you, and he has no idea what to do now.

nothing much had really happened in the dream– well, nothing that soobin and taehyun had teamed up to mock him for after an inappropriate assumption. it was far more innocent than that.

he was just with you, dancing to fun, energetic music that he doesnt think he’d usually be interested in on a regular basis, but hes dancing with you in a dream, so its the best music hes ever heard. although he had heard many people say when love hits, everything quiets, kai noticed the music and rhythm became louder. your eyes glimmered and your arms wrapped around his neck. his stomach began to turn, but he still leaned in.

sun beams that shone through a somber bedroom window interrupted you two, much to his dismay. he laid in his bed for a moment before screaming into his pillow, knowing his relationship with you is forever changed after this god forsaken dream. he wishes he got to kiss you, though, since he probably wont have the chance any time soon.

there was a group of eight of your friends watching a movie that, honestly, kai couldnt repeat the plot of. he was watching the film through your eyes.

the scenes where the attractive male love interest was front and center made you smile the most, and, though hueningkai assumed he would be more jealous, he couldnt muster any negative emotions when looking at the small details that adorn your face.

he thought your eyebags were stunning, the cutest things hes ever seen. he loves the wrinkles surrounding your lips, because, as hes mentioned a thousand times before, your smile brings him to life. he always noticed how your lips get extremely chapped due to how often you lick them when you get anxious about something. your lips used to bleed a lot, too.

theyre all things youd probably become embarrassed about if he’d told you about this, so he never would, but he’ll always admire you quietly, and from afar.

“hyuka?” you asked.

kai realized you were now directly looking in his eyes, head cocked to one side.

“what? sorry, i didnt hear you,” he apologized before he began fiddling with his fingers.

“do you wanna go make more popcorn?”

you raised the popcorn bucket to show him it was empty. kai nodded and stood up while putting his hand out as leverage to pick you up. his hands perched on your waist while one of yours was on his shoulder. 

“that movies so boring,” you whispered over to hueningkais ear.

he furrowed his eyebrows. “you look so interested though.”

“cause the guy in it is cute.”

only then did kai feel badly, more insecure than anything. he had thoughts that he should work out more, maybe style his hair better, more similarly to the leading love interest in the boring movie. he got lost in his thoughts while preparing the bags of popcorn.

“do you think the girl in the movie is pretty?” you asked while throwing out the popcorn kernels at the bottom of the bucket your friends were sharing. the bucket was so large that some kernels didnt roll properly into the garbage, which gave you more of an excuse to avert your gaze.

kai didnt know how to respond. he hadnt been watching the movie, really, but he didnt have the guts to compliment you instead. hes not good at opening up.

“im not sure,” he mumbled as a cop-out, “i wasnt really paying attention to the movie. its pretty boring.”

you finally looked in his eyes and gave him an upside down smile. you nodded and blinked slowly before continuing to prepare the popcorn by his side.

kai didnt know what to do anymore. he didnt know how to be normal around you. he desperately wanted to be as close to you as he possibly could be, but he didnt want to scare you off. he started to bite his cheeks in punishment whenever his fingers tried to crawl closer to yours.

his friends noticed the way he looked to you first whenever he made a joke or asked for the groups opinion on something, and they noticed that he held his cheeks to cool them down when he thought no one was around to see.

“youve been looking so red recently, hyuka, are you feeling alright?” you asked, placing your palm innocently on his cheek and forehead, checking his temperature before realizing he was warm, but not feverish. “are you developing rosacea or something? have you been in the sun too long?”

the genuine concern on your face made all of your friends roll their eyes; theres no way youre that naïve. still, you caressed his cheeks gently, trying to check for any dangerous marks or bumps forming.

“hes fine,” soobin called out with a small smile, “he just feels embarrassed whenever hes around you.”

your eyebrows furrowed and you pouted, asking kai what you did wrong to have him suddenly become embarrassed around you. his body temperature raised to the point he felt he would pass out.

“fuck you,” kai muttered to soobin with a smirk, covering his face in shame before trying to find the courage to finally admit to you what had been going on for the past couple months.

your other friends laughed off kais curses and continued their walk down the street, leaving you and your boy to talk.

“whats been going on? youve been acting weird, and i thought i was reading too much into it, but clearly its you.” you crossed your arms, trying to read his expression for any sign of his feelings. as always, hes unreadable.

the butterflies in kais stomach were tantamount to the questions in your head, and, even if he could verbalize the love and admiration he had for you, there was no way youd understand it.

Pokemon Comic Idea

Sonia is starting up Pokémon biology seminars in Wyndon, but she notices people online are constantly talking about how hot she is and other misogynistic comments. At first, she shrugs it off as terminally online incel behaviour and blocks them, but the next day, Sonia encounters other women scientists in Wyndon who peer pressure her to dress more provocatively because itll get her more attention and they say that its a women's duty to look pretty. Sonia then tries dressing in shorter dresses at her next few seminars but as time goes on, hundreds of people online sneer that shes "not a real scientist" cos of what she wore. Sonia fears no matter what she talks about at her seminars, everyone will just jeer and treat her like an object, no matter what she does.

Throughout these past few weeks, Piers notices that Sonia's dressing weird and acting strange but Sonia assures him there's nothing to worry about. As soon as he saw the latest social media outburst at Sonia's seminar, he confronts Sonia herself before going onstage and tells her to stop trying so hard to. Sonia bursts into tears feeling that she'll never be taken seriously as a Pokemon Professor and thinks shes just a slut in a labcoat, Piers immediately hugs her tightly. He tells her that her knowledge and intelligence is the reason why she's the Pokemon Professor and that she shouldnt degrade herself to fit some assholes' ideals of what a female scientist should be. He puts on her labcoat and softly kisses her, Sonia snarks it must be a good luck to which Piers replies: "I would never give you a good luck kiss, cos you'll never need one."

He then watches amongst the audience as Sonia, with newfound confidence delivers a sterling speech about how her worth as a woman in the scientific community is not measured by her body, but her brain and thus continues her seminar as usual. To which the audience erupted in applause afterwards.

While there were some sneering comments from the women scientists Sonia met, she ignored them. And she was delighted to find that her seminar stream reached 2 million views and so many commenters online were saying how they were inspired by Sonia and want to take up studying Pokemon biology thanks to her.

Afterwards, Sonia and Piers snuggle up on the sofa watching history documentaries.
