WIP(s): In Hope of Tomorrow, A Trial of Errors and a sneak peek into a, dare I say, fan favorite's AU.

S - [Sabrina] said nothing when she lowered her ear to his chest, listening to his beating heart, a steadfast reminder there was time. Like that's ever enough.

I - "I-", he choked out, voice hoarse, "cover yourself, Deputy. Please. God." She had no idea if the plea was directed at her or he was inadvertently asking God to grant him self-restraint.

G - "Go ahead. Beg me. Maybe I'd show mercy, make your death quick."

H - "He looks like me, you know." Sabrina frowned at the remark, "No, he doesn't."

G - "Grab that shotgun of yours, Mary May.", Calahan drummed his hands on the bar for extra measure while his lips pulled into a smirk, "We got ourselves a truck to fetch."

L - "Lovely day for some mayhem with a side of murder." [Calahan]

O - One hand remained securing the towel around his waist, while the other lifted up and instead of touching her, John grasped the handle of one of the drawers behind her. "May I?", he asked in a low tone, eyes darkening as they ran over her features and made her wonder what he was actually asking permission for. "No." An eyebrow went up at her curt reply, "You want me to sleep naked? That would be interesting."

W - "We weren't doing anything naughty in there, I promise.", he tried to ignore the way she said the word, almost like she wanted the store attendant to believe the contrary.

F - "Fucking hell. Are you trying to deep freeze yourself, Jonathan?", [Sabrina] exclaimed and reached her arm around him, changing the temperature, "There, better. Now where was I?"

E - Eloise flexed her hand as her eyes narrowed at the man in front of her, the pain shooting up her arm only furthered the urge to claw at the bandage Isaac had meticulously dressed the wound with. His kindness felt outlandish, like something she needed to squash, especially within the walls of St. Francis.

A - "Are you scared, Deputy?" "No.", [John] didn't look like he believed her, "Fine. A little."

R - Run your hands over me like that, Detective.

Flexible Front Wings AKA More FIA Clownery

If these tweets are accurate, the FIA has taken almost 3 months to investigate the flexible wings and now says it's "too late" to intervene because teams wouldn't be ready by the end of the season.

But of course, this means that - if the other teams want to have a level playing field - they need to spend their budget (which is capped) to catch up.

Which, by the FIA's own admission, there isn't enough time to do. So hopefully those teams have already been developing these new wings, otherwise they're just shit out of luck.

I really try not to be a tinhatter, but all this screams to me is that the FIA were either fully aware or willingly ignorant that the McLaren car (esp. but also Mercedes) is at best dubiously legal if not illegal but looked the other way because they wanted a title fight to maximize attention and profits.

And as the second tweet shows, when the FIA is incentivized to move quickly they can and have.

It also begs the question, where would the championship standings be if the FIA had actually looked into this when they were asked to?

There was so much talk about the 2021 championship being rigged by the FIA. Will there be the same talks now?

What's one thing you'd like to see happen this F1 season?

Ideally, I’d like to see Red Bull’s downfall. I do wish for this every year but after the allegations against H*orner and how RB has handled it thus far I want that whole team to just completely perish.

I know you said one thing but I also really want to see Lewis succeed. The past couple of years have been awful-ish for him, I know it’s the car and other factors but I feel like if this season doesn’t go well for him it’s going to give people even more fuel to hate on him and complain about why the Ferrari move is bad. (Somehow my Facebook feed got filled with a bunch of Lewis to Ferrari posts where the comments were filled with men complaining about him and how Ferrari and Italy didn’t want him. So you can see where I’m coming from LOL.) Also I just want to see him finish off on a strong and happy note with Merc.

Honorable Mentions: I want to see my baby waby Charles win Monaco (although I hope for this every year) and I also want to see more Pierre podiums hehe.
