Just because a character you see with aromantic traits doesn't make them aroace. It's fine to have your head cannons, but when ALL that is stated is a distaste for romance, I find it troubling to call them ace. PLEASE let me have this character as just aro.

Not necessarily aroallo, but just the aromantic label. Really made that because someone has aro qualities that it means they are aroace.

Both of their reactions throughout this whole scene in Watching and Dreaming fucking destroyed me man. Their complete, wordless shock followed by unbridled grief-stricken rage just…. hit hard. Havent really seen art for this moment so wanted to take a crack at it.

Once again I am screaming and crawling up the walls like Evil Dead over the fact that all the electricons grabbed onto Mare in Harbor Bay when she saw Cal’s body and the healer trying to resuscitate him.

Like everyone around her (except for her) knew her dumb ass was so in love with him that if he died she was going to go off like a fucking bomb and kill all of them and to avoid that they literally were fully prepared to either knock her out with their own ability or contain hers as much as possible.

Which just leads me to believe that if he had died, like if the healer had failed and he had died on the sand Mare would have turned immediately to Iris’s war ship and we would have gotten the duel of the fucking century. Because Iris would have been fighting to just survive and Mare would have been blindly fighting to kill at all costs in as painful of a manner as possible. And she would have taken so many lakelanders and nortian soldiers with her. So tbh, if Dane/the Scarlet Guard was smart, they would have let Cal die in that moment and they could have ended the whole thing in Harbor Bay.

I'm like halfway through Noveria with my new shep rn, after that it's just Virmire left (friggin YIKES), and what it has taught me is that Kassandra, miss goody-two-shoes following the rules Alliance postergirl, is in fact hanging on to her sanity by a thread. She is hinged but BARELY. She actually has so much bright, burning rage and contempt inside her at all times, and the only reason she's still a perfect Paragon is because nothing has made her snap yet (and she's clinging to those hinges for dear life).

She's spent this whole game so far trying to convince Garrus that The Lawful Way is the Right Way, so it's gonna be really funny if she goes off the rails in ME2

leafpool should’ve been the fourth cat. it starts with her getitng told by starclan that squirrel and bramble were meant to be together. something they only did because they knew about her eventual kits with crowfeather.

it’s established that starclan uses her for their bidding. she’s even named after the place where starclan communes with them. so why wouldn’t they make her be the fourth? she is where it began so she must be the end.

she would essentially replace firestar’s whole role in po3 and oots. she is given the prophecy of the three instead of him. although she immediately understands why starclan told her the prophecy. so she could make them as strong as powerful. so instead she tries to play down their powers as much as possible, just wanting lion and jay to be normal kids.

but she’d know that holly wasn’t the third. she knows her daughter is not a dove. she is an owl. she is silent, and watching. waiting. for her moment. when it’s finally confirmed that holly is powerless her heart breaks for her and desperately wishes to comfort her but knows she cannot. 

she loathes starclan for what they’ve done to her. for what they stole from her. and now making her the fourth cat? why couldn’t they do that for holly? 

when she goes to starclan. be it through the moonpool or in her death she lets loose on them. there’s nothing she can do at that point but she doesn’t care. she’s infuriated at being a pawn in their game. she is alive. she has a family. how dare they treat her like a toy to be played with and thrown away when bored. 

she forsakes them and chooses to wander the world as a ghost, watching over the futrue generations. desperate to warm them about starclans ways and to not trust them under any circumstance. starclan cares for no one.
