hi honey bun! i was just having a thought about someone coming home after a night out, a little drunk and sleepy, just crawling into bed with the reader? n maybe trying not to wake her w cuddling and such? 🥺 im so indecisive and couldn’t choose between peter or one/poly marauders, but please also feel free to disregard if it’s not the one for you! kisses xx
Sirius tries to tell them to be quiet, but James is so drunk he’s going to wake up amnesiac and Remus isn’t far behind him. Sirius has a kinder buzz, opening and then closing the door for his idiots begrudgingly. “Shush. You’ll wake her.”
“She should be awake I miss her so much I’m gonna throw up,” James says, all in one breath.
“That might be the Guinness,” Remus laughs. His cheeks have gone pink. Sirius thinks it’s the cutest Remus has ever looked, and he gives him an affectionate smile that’s returned tenfold.
“Be quiet,” Sirius says. A yawn comes suddenly. “Go sit down and have some toast or something.”
“I definitely will throw up then,” James groans, bending over in the middle of the hallway.
Remus, despite being similarly belligerent, starts doting on him. “You okay?” he asks, bending down with a similar sigh of pain. “Come on. I’ll make you a– a glass of water.”
Sirius has spent the night with them, so he loves them, but he misses you too much to stay. He chucks his shoes vaguely in the direction of the shelf and starts up stairs. The walls move under his hand and the bedroom door proves hard to open, but he sees you and forgets that he’s drunk. You’re laying on your side curled into a pillow, arm curled around, one leg sticking out of the quilt.
Sirius pulls the blanket back gently, remembers he’s wearing jeans, changes out of the jeans, and slides into bed in front of you. He slowly, slowly, pulls the pillow from your arms, wrapping his arm under yours and behind your back, the other just shy of your face. Beautiful girl, he thinks, a little woozy from having suddenly changed directions.
You mumble and hug him weakly, fingertips tickling his side.
“For fuck’s sake!” James says somewhere downstairs. “What is this?”
“Water, Jamie,” Remus says, quieter. “You can’t have anything else, don’t be–” A sound and a laugh. “No, kissing me won’t change my mind.” More laughing.
Sirius tugs your hand up to smile into your palm.
“Home?” you mumble.
“Mm,” he hums, eyes closed and heavy but his arm awake behind your back, pulling you closer to his front. “I told them to be quiet… didn’t listen.”
“You…” you’re still stuck in the throes of sleep, and forget you’re talking. Sirius laughs a huff and you blink. “Okay?”
“Yeah. Everything was okay. Next time I’ll stay home with you,” he promises, rubbing his nose into your cheek.
“I liked being alone for a bit, but… missed you in the end.”
Footsteps start up the stairs. “Sorry for waking you up,” Sirius says.
“S’okay. Make them be nice to me.”
That’s easy. As the door begins to open, Sirius pulls you right into his chest, as close as you can possibly be, and shushes you gently. Remus’ laughing swiftly ends, and James says, “Oh no, what’s wrong?” in his softest tone.
James climbs over the bed still in his shoes. Remus grabs him before they can touch the sheets and takes them off, and then James crawls up behind you and hugs you, Sirius’ arms included. “Hi… my angel.”
You ignore him with a disgruntled whine.
“Sorry we were so loud.”
You whine again.
“Do you want Remus instead?”
“No. I don’t not want Remus,” you clarify. “I’m not mad at you. Stay here.”
Remus falls rather drunkenly in behind Sirius, forcing everyone to move over. You look for him in the tangle of arms and blankets, everyone Sirius loves rammed into one bed and exhausted.
“Is anyone in the mood for a kiss?” James asks.
“Too tired,” you mumble.
“Too far away. Make it up to you in the morning,” Remus says into Sirius's shoulder. Sirius is having a hard time following the conversation, distracted by the smell of your perfume and all the skin pressed to his.
James sighs forlornly. “Fine.” A pause. “Sirius?”
He snores.

❝ answer me. did you think of her when you're in bed with me? when you're kissing me and holding me— was she the one on your mind? ❞
summary: it's hard knowing you aren't really the person in toji's heart but loving him was something you still did regardless. as for toji, he thinks he's ready to give you his all.
desc: 2.8k words, f!reader (referred to as ‘mama’), canon compliant i think, takes place after mamaguro's death and before toji’s, age gap (early 20s reader, early 30s toji), baby gumi ahhhhh, sfw, angst to fluff to angst again lol, intended lowercase, think you're tsumiki’s mom but without tsumiki bc the relations would be too complicated and also the second wife erasure in the canon storyline?? yeah it's reserved specifically for this fic, not proof read i fear but pls read it's really interesting i can swear by it lmaoqhdhns
Tumblr media
dating a widowed man with a son wasn't easy especially when the said man is still in love with his former wife, or rather, his wife who had died.
love is often beautiful but sometimes it's unfair. it can also be cruel. what other reason would make you still stay despite knowing you'll never measure upto the person who had been here before you?
and you've heard stories about her. she was sweet, so beautiful— not just in her appearance but her entire being was beautiful. there always was an ache in your heart upon just the mention of her name.
so how much more would it have ached for toji?
“mama” the spiky haired boy, barely two years old calls you and you realise the silence in the room. “not mama, i’m nana okay?” sick.
nana. not mama but close enough. it doesn't matter anyway, n and m are just letters and next to each other so how much difference would that make? you're the one that's here after all, are you not?
if there's a lump in your throat and your eyes are burning with unshed tears, you force yourself to ignore.
“okay nana” megumi nuzzles his face into your chest, slowly drifting away to sleep. the boy always liked cuddling with you and it melts your heart immensely.
your hands strand through his dark hair. people always said he's the carbon copy of his dad but you'd like to differ. megumi has his mother's eyes and his hair resembled hers more than it did his dad's.
the thought sends another ache in your chest but you push it away– as you always have.
you recall the last time toji had heard megumi call you “mama”. you had never seen toji that livid. he was never a gentle man to begin with but that night, there was nothing else you've been more scared of.
was he like that to his wife? maybe not.
does that matter though? it's not like toji treats you badly. he's decent and loves you an enough amount. you weren't crazy enough to stay when you're not wanted so that must mean you were something to him right?
you also recall the whispers of pity and condemnation thrown at you for just being with toji. him being a brute is one thing but the difference in age is what people seem to have a problem with. you're so much younger than him and have your whole life ahead of you so why are you entrapping yourself this way?
you disagree though. love doesn't know any age and you definitely aren't naive to be head over heels over a guy just because he's relatively older. no, this was real and genuine.
a faint knock disrupts your train of thoughts. “he sleepin’?” toji nods towards the small boy in your arms and you nod back in return.
taking care not to wake the sleeping kid, you slowly pry his hands away from you and pull over a blanket to cover his small body.
when you make your way towards toji, he wastes no time in pulling you closer “missed you” he mumbles, placing a kiss onto your forehead and suddenly all thoughts plaguing your mind disappears. that's all you could ask for, even if it was just for a moment.
“i missed you more” you whisper back, he only huffs out an amused chuckle.
“got bad news though” a frown finds itself on his lips, decorated by a single scar next to it.
“did you lose all your money again?” toji was a gambling addict, another thing you forced yourself to tolerate just for him.
“sorry, doll. thought i’d win this time” he rubs small circles on your back comfortingly and it makes you a bit uneasy to know that he has his way with you so easily.
“it's alright. i’ll just find another part time job”
“so good to me” toji pulls you into his chest and you let out a sigh— of exhaustion? relief? you couldn't really tell but that's not important, toji had you in his arms.
“i’ll try and think of something too. don't worry your pretty little head too much” he lifts you up with ease. while you're in his arms, you feel the safest.
Tumblr media
toji really felt bad this time. he was confident he would win but that stupid horse had to trip and lose its lead, ending up last of all places. he knows luck never favoured him but that's didn't stop him from trying again and again and again.
he also knows how you didn't say anything more than necessary about it but he isn't that much of an idiot either. he sees how your expression falters and your shoulders slump a little more when he comes home with another news of his gambling loss.
this is also why he tries, or rather, tried to quit — one too many times, unbeknownst to you. however, old habits die hard and most of the time (everytime) toji gives into his urge and loses yet again. the cycle keeps happening.
maybe this isn't just about gambling.
with the way you're asleep so soundly next to him after putting his son to sleep and taking care of him too, he is overcomed with yet another feeling to be better for you and megumi alike.
toji isn't a gentle man; everyone knows that, you do too — even more than anybody else but he can't help the familiar pool of warm feelings surging through him the longer he stares at your peaceful state.
he remembers the last time he felt it, with another person. it felt like a lifetime ago.
he also remembers how painful it was when he lost it — the person, the feeling altogether. his hands that were making their way to caress your face stops mid air.
toji knows you deserve so much better. you've been nothing but patient to him, so amazing, so perfect to him. still, he just can't do it yet, just not yet.
he will eventually, he hopes you stay until then.
Tumblr media
toji wakes up to an empty bed and his heart sinks a little but the creases and wrinkles on the sheets serve as a reminder that you were really here.
he makes his way towards the kitchen, only finding megumi sitting on a chair next to the dining table.
“hey kid, where's your mama?”
toji freezes. it came out so naturally he didn't realise he said it himself and almost thinks he didn't but megumi's wide eyes prove that he actually did.
“m…mama?” megumi says hesitantly and toji nods this time. “yes, your mama”.
“potty potty!” megumi points to the bathroom and giggles, toji follows suit. the man crouches to his son's eye level and pats his head.
“you love your mama, kid?” toji sees megumi's eyes sparkle as the boy nods enthusiastically “very very much!!”
“yeah? i love your mama too.”
toji smiles to himself, he can't wait to tell that to you.
Tumblr media
the next time toji got his pay, he finds himself hesitating. instead of heading towards the race tracks, his feet takes him to a jewellery store.
instead of picking out a slot and testing his luck, he picks out a ring. it's not fancy by any means but he thinks it would be the most beautiful band of metal to exist if it slides into your ring finger.
the tiny ring carries all the heavy feelings he has for you.
──
it was one particular evening when you saw an old man lingering by the front gate. its particular because the warm sunset and the soft cool breeze contrasted the ground breaking truth you find out.
“can i help you?” you ask the old man who looks at you up and down, not making an attempt to hide his distaste of your sight.
“is this where toji zenin lives?” he stares down at you with his scrutinising gaze; it makes you feel small.
“zenin?” you ask, confused. is he referring to toji? but his last name is fushiguro is it not?
“yes toji zenin. i heard he has a son as well. you're not the mother are you?”
is it that obvious? you wonder how the old man figured it out. regardless, you're not about to give him his answers so you stood your ground.
“i’m sorry i don't know what you're talking about.” you turn around, about to head inside when his words make you stop short.
“are you fushiguro?”
that's toji’s last name isn't it? not zenin or whatever he called it. so why is he asking you that? is he implying that you're married to toji?
“no. you have the wrong person.”
“why? did he say not to get involved with anyone from his clan?” the old man draws closer, chucking to himself. you're just there unmoving, trying to comprehend the situation and the words coming from his mouth.
“or did he not tell you that either? did he tell you anything at all?” he stands tall in front of you, tearing away bits of yourself with every word he says.
“when he returns, tell him the clan wants to propose him an offer. you can do that much at least won't you?”
and when toji comes home that night with the ring cluched tightly in his fist and inside the pocket of his white pants, the world stills.
he finds you in a state he has never seen you before. you look completely and utterly defeated.
“hey, what's wrong?” his hands come to caress your face so effortlessly, the ring and prior nervousness long forgotten.
“talk to me what's going on?” he looks around and the house seems emptier than usual. your laundry that were usually hanging with his were gone.
your small trinkets you placed around the house to “make it more lively” were nowhere to be found.
and there's a bag in the corner of the room which toji prays and hopes he isn't what he thinks it is.
your hands push away his own that were cupping your face. you're not even looking at him.
“say something damn it!”
you flinch and toji takes a step back. he recalls the last time you trembled in fear — when he got mad megumi called you his mom. he punishes himself for it.
“im sorry. please talk to me.” he isn't touching you now but he wants to. he wants to reach out and pull you close, as he always had done. but now there's an unbearable silence and the small distance between you both felt like lightyears away.
“who's zenin” your voice was meek, barely a whisper but toji's eyes widen. how did you find out about that?
no fuck that, he was supposed to be the one telling you. in his own time.
“i can explain” was all that came out of him. he's nervous, he doesn't know where to start. there's a lot of information to unpack and he's not sure how to do it without hurting you too much.
when he doesn't elaborate, you ask another “who's fushiguro then?” your voice falters a bit and toji curses himself for it.
but he's done running away and keeping things from you. “my… my late wife” he says wryly.
your eyes close and a shaky breath leaves your body, as if he just confirmed your worst suspicions. damn life is so funny isn't it? everything you thought you knew apparently wasn't what it seemed to be after all.
opening them again, your vision blurs and you realise tears were escaping your eyes. fuck you didn't want to cry now of all times but they won't stop.
and the way toji was looking at you, it makes you want to throw up.
“i must've been so stupid to you” you let out a humourless chuckle. “did you pretend im her?”
your gaze was sharp and so were your words. maybe all your bottled up feelings were resurfacing. it doesn't make you feel better about it but that doesn't stop you though.
“answer me. did you think of her when you're in bed with me? when you're kissing me and when you're holding me, was she the one on your mind??” your voice was loud now. you should be afraid of waking up megumi who you cradled to sleep just a few hours ago but no, your thoughts are too clouded right now.
toji sighs. he has no excuse.
“i used to” he actually looks ashamed as if he wasn't the one who did it purely out of his will.
your scoff makes him wince “but not anymore.”
his words fall on deaf ears “you know… i knew you did. but i stayed regardless because i thought there would be a chance that maybe one day, you could open up your heart to me. im not even asking for all of it, just a little… i thought you'd let me in.”
you're blabbering and honestly, so distraught.
“but not a moment was there when it was me isn't it? it was always her in the first place.”
now toji should have said something, anything but he stays there planted in place. and maybe that was your breaking point.
you turn around, grabbing your bag and brushing past him towards the door. instead of holding onto you and stopping you, toji clutches the small box containing the ring — your ring in his pocket, almost crushing it in the process, as he hears the door slam.
Tumblr media
you think it's funny how toji did not reach out after what happened. it's poetic even. very fitting of him, till the very end, he did not give two shits about you.
so then, why were you back here?
it's been four long years since the trajectory of your life changed. you still don't know if it was for the better or for the worse.
saying it has been hard would be an understatement. it took you a long time just to get back onto your own feet but you did it regardless. however, you left a part of you here long ago and now, you're here to take it back.
that and you missed megumi dearly. perhaps it was an excuse too because you won't deny a part of you still missed toji, despite everything that happened.
standing a few feet away from the place you used to call home, you hesitate.
maybe this was a bad idea. oh this was definitely a bad idea. you'll see them, and then what? what comes after that?
closure? don't make yourself laugh. you’ll just be reminded of how you couldn't be that person for toji— how you'll always come second. and what if they moved?? there's no reason they'd still be here right?
forget this, you don't need to do this. why must you still be the one who put effort? to reach out? four long years passed and still no news means they clearly moved on... right?
you were convinced enough and was about to go back when you saw little megumi carrying a backpack on his back, seemingly coming home from school.
your feet wouldn't move and your eyes wouldn't blink. he grew up so well.
the world pauses as your gaze follows the kid you used to consider your own, now as good as a stranger.
“do you know that kid?” a voice at your back makes you whip your head around. life really is full of surprises and this time, the surprise was in the form of a tall man, no a tall kid with white hair, looking at you curiously through his round tinted glasses.
“... no i don't” well you weren't exactly lying. you don't know the megumi you see now. perhaps if he asked whether you raised him since he was a baby till he was two, then your answer would've been different.
“oh okay” the boy shrugs. “poor guy though”
“why? whats up with him?” you turn to look at megumi again who was minding his business walking home and your heart aches a little.
“I'm here to recruit him. his dad died you see so he's–”
“wait what was that??”
“his dad. he's dead” the amused boy in front of you chuckles and you stare at him, horrified.
“what happened to him?” your voice was shaky and doesn't sound like your own. he leans down to meet your eye level and smirks “why? i thought you don't know that kid. why does that matter to you?”
your stomach churns as you stare at him, not even knowing what to say— the smug expression on his face only widens.
“so you do know him.”
'know' would be a weak word to use when it comes to toji. you knew of his habits, the simple things he does and also of the more complex ones — like the exact place his scar decorated his lips and how it felt to kiss it.
then again, you don't really know anything about him and maybe you never will.
and maybe that's really, the closure you needed.

Walter to the Rescue
Tumblr media
Gif not mine it belongs to @alphinias
After a ride in the woods late at night you wind up getting lost and to the readers surprise Cole actually answers your call.
Tag list - @cognacdelights
Kicking my horse in the belly to go faster with the wind running through my hair that I left completely loose. This wasn’t the first time I had taken one of the Walter family's horses to clear my head from a day of high school. It all could be a lot especially when everyone in this town knows you have a close family relationship with the Walter kids. Because it only results in half the school thinking you're sleeping with some of them. “Woah boy. Easy now.”
My horse begins making some noise in protest hearing some thunder off in the distance. I knew that horses could get spooked easy but I wasn't too worried about it. Alex had taught me how to keep your cool on them. Looking around at the treeline the leaves have already begun changing colors making it really beautiful. “Ah!” I screamed suddenly when lighting hit the ground in front of me and that caused my horse to whine and throw me off its back.
“Ow! No wait…” I called out to my horse but he was already far off into the treeline. Running a hand through my hair I sighed seeing that the sky was getting darker meaning there was a storm coming. Digging inside my jacket pocket I drew out my phone dialing the house phone getting no answer. “Seriously a house full of that many people and nobody hears the phone!”
I guess I couldn't blame them for not answering. That house is always loud and crazy no matter what time of day. Plus now that Jackie from New York had moved in things got more complicated. Tapping my knees in thought I tried to decide who would answer my call. Alex was busy with Jackie, Parker was probably outside playing with Benny. Will was working tonight selling houses. Jordan, Nathan, Lee, Isaac and Danny didn't drive. So that left me in the hands of the most popular guy in town who was known for hooking up with multiple girls Cole. Lifting my head up to the sky I felt heavy rain coming down where I scrambled to my feet but collapsed when I felt a sharp pain in my left ankle. “Shit!...guess he's my only choice now.”
It wasn't that I hated the guy. I just hated the reputation he had made for himself. The rain came pouring down where I grunted, forcing myself to stand up. I hopped over to the treeline to get some coverage from the storm. The wind was picking up, shaking everything so I dialed his number. “Pick up, pick up.”
“What's going on, Y/n?” His voice came through the phone.
“Don't make fun of me but I'm lost.” I stated.
He chuckled at me. “How did little woodlen girl get lost?”
“Cole, I'm not in the mood for teasing right now.” I spat back.
The former star football player still was laughing on the other end. “I’m sorry I just can’t believe girl who hunts with her father managed to get lost on our property. I mean I never thought I’d see the day from someone like you.”
“Cole, I am currently stuck out in a storm and called you for help so can you take this seriously please!” I raised my voice pulling the hood of my jacket over my head shivering when the wind blew harshly against me.
Finally to my surprise he came to his senses responding back to me. “Alright I’ll come get you.” He hung up the call and I was forced to listen and watch the storm get worse for an hour or so.
Burying my face into my knees my body was shaking from the cold and the fact that my clothes were soaked head to toe. I heard a vehicle engine getting closer in my direction and it pulled to a stop showing me it was Cole’s truck he was usually working on in the barn. The drivers door flung opened and quickly shut where I saw someone running towards me with a jacket in their hands. “Cole?”
“One knight in shining armor, woodland girl.” He declared dropping down on a knee, draping the jacket over my shoulders.
I glared up into his green eyes seeing his blonde hair sticking to his forehead. “Can you please call me by my actual name for once?”
“Maybe someday. Come on let's get out of the cold before we both get frost bite.” He offered me his hands tugging me to stand.
“Argh!” I winced, dropping down on my other knee after my injured ankle.
Cole was quick on his reflectances sweeping me up bridal style into his muscular arms. “Looks like you needed a better horse riding teacher than Alex huh?”
“Let’s not talk about it right now.” I said feeling embarrassed enough as is. He helped me into the passenger seat and we drove home. He carried me upstairs and sat me down on the edge of his bed in his bedroom.
He searched around in the closet grabbing himself a change of clothes. Then he tossed me one of his blue tea shirts and some shorts. “Here I can help you if you need it.”
“Turn around first.” I instructed him, blushing since I haven't even kissed anyone before. He did as told giving me the chance to slip my wet shirt for his and shrugging off my jeans until I thought about getting the shorts on. I pulled them up as much as I could before getting his attention. “Cole, I can’t get them up without standing on my foot.”
He looks over his shoulder coming back to me moving his hands down to the left side telling me. “Lift your foot for me.” I lifted my foot and he shrugged it up then helping me sit back down on the bed so I could do the same to my right leg without his assistance.
“Thanks, Cole.” I whispered where he stands in front of me letting silence fill the room. I avoided his gaze, not sure of what to say until I shut my eyes to ask the question. “So did you have to skip a hookup with Erin to come rescue me?”
He tilted his head to the side. “Why would you care if I did. You have a crush on me or something, woodland girl?”
“Y/n, you know my name so use it.” I corrected him. “And even if I did, you don't have relationships. I wouldn't want to be another girl tricked by The Cole Effect.”
He raised a brow at my words. “Oh yeah. What makes you think you'd just be another girl I hook up with?”
“Like I said everyone at school knows you don't do real boyfriend girlfriend relationships. You do hook ups and my mother saw it before I did but I refuse to let my feelings for you lead me down that path since you can't possibly feel the same way about me as I do you.” I accidentally admitted without realizing it to him.
Cole stared blankly at me. “You don't think I feel the same?”
“If you did, you have a funny way of showing it.” Shrugging my shoulders I lowered my gaze down from his green orbs.
Cole simply replied then closed the gap between us. “Is this enough of an effort for ya.” He cupped my face in his hands, crashing his lips down onto mine.
I gasped in shock and awe that the famous Cole Walter was kissing me. He was kissing me, the girl that wasn’t popular like he was. The girl that was just a friend of the family but still no one special. “Cole…I’ve never….never done anything like this.” I mumbled tugging on his blonde locks deepening the kiss. He moaned gently pushing me down onto the mattress and he climbed over top of me never breaking the heated kiss until we needed air.
“I’m not doing this to just have a hook up with you, Y/n. I’m not good with commitment but I do actually care about you.” He breathed out holding himself up by his hands on either side of me, blonde hair falling in front of his eyes and his eyes were focused on me.
Raising one hand up I tangled my fingers into his hair asking the question that was eating away at me now. “So what does that make us now, Cole Walter?”
“We can take this slow and figure it out as we go along, Y/n Woodland Girl L/n.” He smiled leaning down kissing me gently this time. I giggled wrapping my arms around his neck bringing him closer to me enjoying the kisses we shared.

To the point of exhaustion (part 2)
——————————————————————
For @naroshinozaki
Who asked: Could you please do the fainting trope, but with the vicedorm leaders?
Have a nice day and take care of yourself!!!
( ↀДↀ)✧
———————————————————
POV: Third Person
Characters: Vice dorm leaders, Dire Crowley (mentioned), gender neutral!reader
Pairing: Vice dorm leaders x gender neutral!reader (separate)
Warnings: angst, mentions of being overworked, fainting, lack of sleep, Dire Crowley slander
Note: For this I’ve decided to exclude Ortho.
Word Count: 979
—————————————————————
It was yet another unbirthday party in Heartslabyul and Trey Clover, the dorm’s vice dorm leader would normally be enjoying the celebration with everyone else in the dorm but instead, he was in his bedroom cuddling with y/n.
“I’m sorry that you’re missing the unbirthday party because of me, Trey.”
“Don’t worry, there will be plenty more of them.” He assured them in a soft tone. “You just focus on getting the rest you need.”
They had confessed that they hadn’t been getting as much sleep, due to the headmaster and the way he piled more and more onto their plate and how overwhelming it was for them and how close they were to burning out.
And how all they wanted was just to sleep. Even if it was just for a few minutes.
And Trey had decided to give them that.
It was clear that the headmaster certainly wouldn’t.
“Don’t worry, Riddle assured that he’ll make sure that there’s something for us when you wake up.”
“Thank you, Trey. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
——————————————————
“…Ruggie?”
“Finally awake, sleeping beauty?”
“Yeah. What time is it?”
Ruggie checked his phone briefly for the time. “It’s four p.m.”
“You let me sleep all day?!”
“Yes. You could hardly stand. You needed the rest.”
“But what about the lessons? The assignments I missed?”
“You can borrow my notes. As for the assignments, you don’t have to worry, Crewel and Trein will let you make them up.”
“But the headmaster…”
“He had to go one day without his free therapist. The world has come to an end.” Ruggie’s voice was dripping with sarcasm. “He’ll live. I care more about you and your health and I know that you would be hungry when you woke up.” As if on cue, y/n’s stomach growled and Ruggie handed them the food he had come back with from the cafeteria. “The ghosts were more than happy to make this for you. Your favorite.”
The hyena felt his cheeks turn pink when suddenly kissed his lips. “What was that for?”
“That was thank you, for being the best boyfriend ever.”
“Yeah, well, I love you.”
“Love you more, Ruggie.”
————————————————————
“Are you feeling better, my pearl?”
“Yes, I am, Jade.” It was currently after hours in the Mostro Lounge, the smooth jazz was playing softly and with the ambiance of the Lounge, it created the perfect atmosphere for y/n to relax. Especially after the week they had, no one deserved it more than them. “Thank you.”
When his pearl had arrived at the lounge, looking quite dead on their feet, as if they would faint at any moment, Jade wasted no time in leading y/n to their favorite seat in the lounge, he had gently coaxed the reason why they were so exhausted.
The headmaster, it seemed, did not know the meaning of restraint.
Jade would not hesitate to remind him.
“Of course.” He gave y/n one of his rare smiles, not the kind of smile that was used to intimidate, but the kind that gave him a softer appearance. “I would do anything for you.”
He would let Azul deal with that.
———————————————————————
“Thanks for letting me hide out in Scarabia, Jamil, and for letting me borrow your hoodie. I just needed some peace and quiet for once, you know?”
Out of everyone, Jamil knew what it was like to feel overwhelmed and under pressure. Being the vice dorm leader of Scarabia and having to watch over Kalim was not an easy thing. “Yeah, I get it. Trust me.” At least with Kalim, he allowed Jamil some time to himself and let him do things that would let him unwind.
Unlike the headmaster.
It was why y/n had made their way to Scarabia.
And it was during one of the rare times where Scarabia wasn’t having a party so they could spend time with Jamil, at Kalim’s assurance that everything was fine, and that today was a relaxation for everyone in the dorm anyway.
And if anyone needed to relax the most, it was y/n and Jamil.
“Don’t worry. We can just be lazy and not have to worry about anything.”
————————————————————
Underneath the big tree in the woods behind Night Raven College, on a picnic blanket, y/n and Rook sat together, enjoying the breeze, the shade from the tree, and the occasional chirp from the birds as they flew overhead.
“How are you feeling, mon cher? Better?”
“Yes, I’m feeling better, Rook. Thank you. I really appreciate that you set this up for me.”
The vice dorm leader of Pomefiore kissed y/n’s hair. “Your health and safety matters most to me.”
“Vil doesn’t need you for anything?”
“Roi du Poison told me that we can take all the time we need. And I plan to spend the entire day spoiling you.”
Rook’s smile widened when y/n’s giggled reached his ears.
——————————————————————————
Father, will y/n be all right?”
In Diasmonia’s lounge, y/n slept peacefully on the couch with the fire going in the fireplace. “Of course, Silver.” His smile was tight. “They’ll be fine.”
“The headmaster overworked them too much. Do you think he knows? Or that he just doesn’t care?”
Lilia was sure that it was both. “I’ll deal with him later. Right now, I’m going to make sure that y/n recovers.”
“You really love them, father.”
“With everything that I am.”

+ love, ‘su: he's so crazyyyy!!! can't take him anywhere lol XD ── tw. mentions of murder (not u)
Tumblr media
yuta’s been acting weird, but you can’t put your finger on it. you’ve this aching gut feeling that something’s off with him, but he hasn’t done anything out of the ordinary.
he’s still acts like your loving boyfriend who refuses to sleep unless his arms are wrapped around you. each time the thought of yuta suddenly changing crosses you, a pang of guilt hits you.
you don’t want to doubt him, but it’s getting difficult to not suspect him. he’s no longer punctual — you can’t predict his timing anymore. even the hour he returns home is now a guessing game.
what happened to him? something’s weird — no, not just weird. it’s terrifying. physically it’s your yuta but is it really? why are his eyes unfocused all the time? is something or someone bothering him?
questions after questions swirl through yet there isn’t an answer that can satisfy you. you need yuta to speak, but he dances around the questions, refusing to give in.
the more you pry the more he gets annoyed. he doesn’t show it, but his firm answer never fails to stop you.
“baby, i said nothing. is. wrong.” he’d insist, warmingly smiling at you before he follows up with a question. “don’t you trust me?”
like usual, you’d remain silent, unable to drag it on. the conversations continued to run in circles. soon you gave up.
you can’t shake off the feeling, nor can you make him talk. as unfortunate as it is, it’s better to go with the flow. it’d be meaningless to anger him with butting in his business.
as for yuta, it pains him that he’s acting so cold, but that’s the only way to get you to stop. he loves you — worships you — but it’ll be detrimental if you were to find out that he isn’t your sweet boy.
you shower him with praises everyday, he can’t imagine what life would be like if he loses you. you’ve always said his hands are your favourite, which is why he bought multiple pairs of gloves. he can’t have the hands you adore be tainted. it’s a bit sloppy to cover his traces, but it’ll do.
after all, he’s not skilled in killing humans yet. his expertise is knowing how to murder curses, but maybe he can transfer those skills to humans too.
truth be told, this has been going on for some time. if he were to recall correctly, it’s been approximately twenty-three days since his first killing. he didn’t plan for it to happen — heavens, no! it just… did.
yuta’s self control is something worthy to be jealous of, but he lost every ounce of it that night. he gifted you a new dress, one that’s perfect to be dolled up in an expensive club that’s part casino. so said, so done.
you were his woman, ever so beautiful, but like moths to a flame, you attracted unnecessary attention. the amount of men that attempted to whisk you away exceeded the number ten. he couldn’t keep count on his fingers anymore. of course, you never hesitated to reject them. you even went as far as to slip in “i’m here with my boyfriend” whenever they approached.
but they were filthy flies. flies aren’t able to read the room, nor can they handle rejection. they’ll always come back to the meal — even if all they got was a whiff of the scent. flies are known to be pesky, greedy animals. unless you see them to their death, they’ll never leave.
the night played out smoothly, but yuta’s annoyance wasn’t soothed. he wanted to relieve it physically. he needed absolute dominance over something — something that’ll be easy to register a power imbalance with. what’s better than to overpower one of the flies? they’d be drunk and yuta happened to have held his alcohol, so he’s quite sober.
once he’s assured you were in deep sleep, he quietly left to set his plan in motion. he never thought that he’d feel ‘the hunter and the prey’ emotions against a human, but here he is. life is truly unpredictable. it’s unfortunate the random fly that was singled out couldn’t predict his murder.
a death by asphyxiation. the easiest way to kill someone if it’s your first time. yuta didn’t bother to clean up, simply opting for dragging the body in a back alley. there’s been a number of violent crimes the past week, he was sure it’ll be played off as one of those crimes. in that way, he won’t ever be suspected, and he was correct.
however, yuta, too, fell to greed. the adrenaline rush, the feeling of seeing someone struggle, the continuance of the life of someone being his decision to make — he wanted more. he couldn’t settle for just one. with long eyes that yearned for more than he should’ve, yuta’s killings didn’t stop. it soon became a pattern: every two weeks he’d kill someone — it didn’t matter who, as long as they did something he deemed wrong. yuta believed he acted on justice, but he knew he was just as wrong.
he became a vigilante to some, and a serial killer to others. regardless of what the public viewed him as, it caused unrest. the only time he stopped was the day you refused to go out in fear of the increase of murders in your city. your pain is his pain, he couldn’t bear to watch you cower in fear at the thought of becoming the next addition to the kill count.
the stop only lasted for one scheduled killing. he returned to his usual activities, becoming more and more skilled. with each murder he became braver — sometimes taking a limb off depending on if he liked the person or not.
but every secret was bound to be revealed, and his almost got caught when you found a patch of blood on his sweatpants.
“yuta, did you injure yourself and didn’t tell me?” you asked him with a disappointed tone, holding up his sweatpants to show the blood.
his heart stopped, a sick feeling in his stomach bubbled up. he didn’t injure himself, but he injured (killed) someone else. it’s not like he can say that and hope you bypass it.
“oh — i, i did,” he answered, nervously laughing. “i accidentally dropped the knife on my leg, sorry baby.”
it was a half-assed excuse, but since you trust him, you’ll believe it.
“then you should’ve told me!” you pouted, jokingly thinking that he didn’t trust you.
“sorry, sorry. but next time, don’t wash my clothes. i’ll do it.” it was a sudden demand, subtly killing the mood.
your eyebrows furrowed. you found it weird, but didn’t question it. yuta knew how absurd he sounded, but he can’t have you connecting the dots. sooner or later you would’ve realised his lies.
however, even without the clothes, you still found holes in his behaviour. you kept quiet about it until you couldn’t, but that resulted in him redirecting the conversation.
you’re too smart for your own good, if you were to cast aside your trust in him and realise your worries aren’t insane, you’d leave yuta in a heartbeat. he can’t have that. he won’t settle for it. heavens know what he’d resort to just to keep you in his arms.
yuta’s your sweet boy, and he’ll continue to be. if it meant giving up the killings, he’d do it. it won’t be too hard to find a replacement to satisfy his needs. but, would he need to give it up? if you find out, can’t he keep you tied down with him? he’s the hunter, after all.

Doubts
Alastor x Reader
A/N: Hello, everyone! Here is my first (and probably only since I’m not really a writer) attempt at an Alastor x Reader. I don’t know why, but I got inspired to write a scenario involving the day after having relations with Alastor the very first time. It doesn’t go into detail. Being on the ace spectrum myself, maybe this was just my way of coping with things. This was very self-indulgent. Story is all from Reader’s POV, whom I kept gender neutral. I’m sorry if Alastor is super ooc. I don’t have any clue on how to capture his personality. But I hope that you can enjoy the story nonetheless!
CW: suggestive themes, excessive use of pet names
Word Count: 1,144
Tumblr media
Last night was the first time Alastor and you made love. Why he decided to be so generous, you couldn’t say. But you weren’t going to complain. When you awoke the following morning, you awoke to an empty bed. His spot beside you was cold. He had undoubtedly been up hours before you were. Realization set in. Did last night really happen? Was it a dream? No. The evidence riddled all over your aching body proved it. You eventually found the strength to sit up. Was he upset with you? Did he regret his decision to go all the way? Is that the reason he didn’t stay? You hadn’t pressured him, but you were the one who really wanted it after all.
Brushing those dangerous trepidations aside, you washed up and got ready for the day as usual. It was your day off, so you took things easy. However, you couldn’t help but notice that Alastor was nowhere to be seen within the hotel. Was he avoiding you? Surely, he was out on business, attending to his duties as an Overlord or brainstorming ideas for his next radio broadcast. Maybe he was just taking one of his daily strolls, chatting with Miss Rosie. Would he tell her?
Sure, Alastor was a schemer, but at this point, it felt far too late to start doubting him now. So, you tried your best to push those feelings away and keep yourself preoccupied, aiding as much as you could with the daily tasks around the hotel.
✧˖ °. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁‧₊˚ ☾. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁˖°✧
It was hours before he finally returned. You glanced at the clock—it was nearly midnight. He sauntered through the front doors like all was right with the world. Once he detected your presence, he ambled across the lobby over to you smoothly. “Good evening, (y/n),” he chirped melodically with a flourish and a gleam in his eye. “I trust that you’ve caught up on your beauty sleep?” He sounded as pleasant as ever. So, you were clearly on speaking terms. Maybe that meant he wasn’t angry, or…
Despite your reservations, you couldn’t contain the eager smile creeping its way onto your face as you admired him. “Sure did,” you answered casually. “How was your outing today?”
“Frightfully illuminating, I must say. Thanks for asking!”
He acted like he was in a good mood. Therefore, you weren't going to sour it by prying further on the matter—especially when you could discern that he didn’t want you to. However, you needed to know the answers to the questions plaguing your mind. “Alastor,” you murmured, “do you think that we could talk…privately?” The last word was a whisper.
“Certainly, sweetheart.” That was easy. “Meet me in the library in ten.”
✧˖ °. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁‧₊˚ ☾. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁˖°✧
And that’s where the two of you were now—in a secluded, quiet corner of the library. You made sure no one else was around beforehand. Though why would there be at this hour. He sat next to you on the plush camelback sofa. You stared down at your hands which were fidgeting in your lap nervously as you spoke. “Alastor…you’re not upset with me, are you?”
He studied you silently for a moment before responding. You could never tell what was running through that demented head of his. Suddenly, he chimed, “Not at all, dearest. What reason would there be for that?”
Did he really not get it? Was he just pretending to be oblivious? Or was he truly unbothered by what happened?
“You know…Last night. You’re not mad?”
You felt his slender, clawed fingers cup your chin, forcing you to look at him directly. His smile was genuine and warm.
“Of course not, darling. It was consensual, was it not?”
“Yes, but I would never want you to do those things if they make you uncomfortable…or, if you just plain don’t want to.”
“I did want to. I wanted to because I knew you wanted to.”
What? That was so uncharacteristically thoughtful to hear him say. His thumb caressed your cheek in reassurance while his lidded gaze never faltered. It felt as though he was completely unperturbed.
“Wow…That’s so sweet of you, Alastor.” So sweet, you almost didn’t know how to process it. “But,” you interjected, “I want you to be able to enjoy it, too. Otherwise, I can’t—”
One of his fingers grazed over your lips, effectively shushing you.
He let out a low hum as if in brief contemplation before continuing. “I did enjoy it… More than I thought possible,” he admitted, seemingly in spite of himself.
You couldn’t fight back the hopeful smile tugging at the corners of your mouth. “So…you don’t regret it?”
“Au contraire,” he beamed as he leaned in closer, mischief glinting in those gorgeous crimson eyes of his. “One could easily grow accustomed to seeing all those pretty faces you make while chanting my name more often.”
Immediately, an intense heat began to scald your cheeks as you hid your face in embarrassment, swatting him away playfully. “Don’t tease me!”
He chuckled heartily at your expense. “No sense in acting shy now, darling!”
“Ah, Alastor, stooop!”
His laughter continued briefly before he wiped a gleeful tear from his eye and conceded, “Very well.”
As soon as the silly little incident died down, you mustered the confidence to behold his eyes once more. He appeared absolutely pleased with himself. And yet again, you couldn’t help but return his contagious, everlasting smile. He was so beautiful—beyond just his face or form. You knew he was a menace, but there were beautiful aspects to his personality, too. Well, when he wanted there to be. Being able to make you smile—sincerely smile—was just one of them.
“Y’know,” you said finally, breaking the comfortable silence that had fallen between you, “I’m glad.”
Alastor’s toothy grin somehow grew even wider as he leaned down close to you like he had before. His hand crept along the back of your neck affectionately as he placed a tender kiss gently upon your forehead. Even after he carefully pulled away, his deft fingers continued to brush lightly through your hair and along your scalp. You could have melted right there and then.
“That’s wonderful news, (y/n.) Let’s try and keep it that way, shall we?”
You nodded in agreement as you happily slid into his arms, wrapping your own around his lithe frame, never taking for granted how freely and frequently he allowed you to touch him during these soft and confidential moments. “I love you,” you sighed contentedly, nuzzling against his chest.
However, it was his unexpected reply that left you feeling giddy for the rest of the night.
“I know, my dear. I am…quite fond of you, too.”
And that was enough for you.

Tough Love - Quinn Hughes
“I took a train to Boston and I wanted to cry,
He’s gone, I’m twenty-four, and it’s a Saturday night,
I ran and took his jacket with a rip in the side,
I hate when we fight. Sucks when we fight.”
***
part 1 // quinn hughes x gracie abrams fic trilogy
part 2 part 3
***
Summary: A business trip and a longer than expected playoff stint turn out to not mix well.
Pairing: Quinn Hughes x fem!reader
Word Count: 4.5k
Warnings: slight allusion to smut, alcohol
Notes:
- finally getting to write angst
- based tightly on the song, I love the song so much.
***
Business trips were a rarity for you, something that happened just often enough to remind you of how much you disliked them. Tonight, you found yourself weaving through the crowded streets of Montreal, the evening air crisp and biting as you made your way back to your hotel. You’d had one too many glasses of wine at the company dinner, and now the world around you seemed to tilt slightly with every step.
The middle of June was usually pretty warm, but once the sun dipped below the horizon, it got colder. You shivered, pulling your coat tighter around you, feeling the chill seep through the fabric. The streets were unfamiliar, the language foreign, and the soft hum of conversations in French made you feel more isolated than ever. You couldn’t understand a word of it, and the half-drunk haze you were in didn’t help. The idea of calling your boyfriend for some comfort flitted through your mind, but you quickly dismissed it. It was already ten, and you knew he had a big game tomorrow—the first Stanley cup final game of his career. He’d be in Boston by now, probably already asleep, and you didn’t want to wake him.
But just as you were trying to reassure yourself that you’d be fine, your phone buzzed in your pocket. His name lit up the screen, and without thinking, you answered the FaceTime call.
The screen flickered to life, and you found yourself staring at him—Quinn. His face was usually a comforting sight, but tonight, something was different. You didn’t immediately notice the tension in his expression, the way his brows were drawn together in concern, or how his lips were pressed into a tight line. Instead, with a drunken giggle, you greeted him with a cheerful, “Bonjour!”
Your voice echoed in the cold air, and you could almost feel the disapproving glares of the locals as you cheerfully butchered their language. But all of that faded as you looked back at the screen, finally registering the way he looked at you. The furrow in his brow deepened, and his eyes scanned your face, taking in the telltale signs of your tipsy state. His lips parted as if he was about to say something, but for a moment, he seemed at a loss for words.
Oh.
The realization hit you all at once. You weren’t sure if it was the cold, the wine, or just the fact that you were far from home, but suddenly, you felt incredibly vulnerable. You decide to probe him at first, just a little.
“Hey, Quinny, what’s up? Shouldn’t you be asleep?” You try to keep your tone light, your smile easy, but there’s a nervous edge to your words. His eyes are too intense, too knowing, and you feel like he can see right through you—like he knows exactly how many glasses of wine you’ve had, how lost you feel, how you’re trying so hard to pretend everything’s fine.
Quinn shifts slightly, and the screen wobbles as he props his phone against something. He’s sitting on the edge of a bed, shoulders bare, the dim hotel room light casting shadows across his face. His hair is a mess, sticking up in all directions, and you can’t help but think how he’s always been so beautiful to you, even when he’s unguarded like this. Especially when he’s unguarded like this.
“I couldn’t sleep,” he says finally, his voice a low, quiet rumble that vibrates through you even from miles away. There’s a hint of something there—something heavy and raw—that makes your stomach twist. “I just... needed to see you.”
You blink, the words hanging in the air between you. There’s a vulnerability in his eyes you’re not used to seeing, a nakedness that makes your heart ache. You open your mouth to say something, to ask him what’s wrong, but the words get stuck in your throat.
Quinn’s eyes flicker away for a second, as if he’s embarrassed, and he runs a hand through his hair, tugging at the strands in a way that makes you realize how tense he is. “It’s stupid,” he mutters, shaking his head. “I just... I don’t know, I’m nervous about tomorrow. More than I should be.”
It’s such a simple admission, but it hits you like a punch to the gut. You know Quinn, know how fiercely he guards his emotions, how he hides his fears behind that confident smirk and those sharp, playful eyes. For him to admit he’s scared... it’s huge.
“Hey,” you say softly, your voice catching in your throat as you take a step closer to the hotel’s entrance, away from the cold that seems to seep into your bones. “It’s not stupid. It’s a big game, I get it. But you’re going to be amazing, Quinny. You always are.”
He shakes his head again, and you can see the frustration tightening his jaw, the way his hand clenches into a fist. “It’s not just that,” he says, voice thick. “It’s... everything. The pressure, the expectations. It feels like everyone’s counting on me, and I just—fuck, I don’t know if I can do it.”
Your heart aches for him, and you wish you could reach through the screen and pull him into your arms, hold him close and tell him it’s all going to be okay. But you’re here, and he’s there, and there’s three hundred miles between you. So, you do the only thing you can—you try to make him laugh. “I’ve seen you play, Hughes. You’re practically a wizard on the ice. Remember that time you deked out three guys and scored from behind the net? If you can do that, you can handle a little playoff game.”
He lets out a short, humorless laugh, but it doesn’t reach his eyes. Instead, they darken, a shadow passing over them that makes your chest tighten. “It’s not just a ‘little playoff game,’” he mutters. “It’s the fucking cup final. If I screw this up...”
“Hey,” you cut him off, your voice firm, “you’re not going to screw up. You’re one of the best players out there, Quinn. You’ve worked your ass off for this. You deserve to be here.”
He’s silent for a moment, staring at you through the screen, and you can see the battle waging behind his eyes—the fear, the doubt, the desperate need for reassurance. “I just... I wish you were here,” he says finally, his voice barely more than a whisper. “I don’t know if I can do this without you.”
The words knock the breath out of you, and for a moment, you can’t speak. You want to tell him you’ll get on a plane, that you’ll be there in the box with the other girlfriends, cheering him on like you always do. But you can’t. You have your own commitments, your own life to live. And besides, your company would kill you if you just up and left in the middle of this trip.
“I... I can’t, Quinny,” you say softly, hating the way the words taste in your mouth, bitter and wrong. “I’m in Montreal. I can’t just leave.”
His face falls, and you can see the hurt in his eyes, the way his shoulders slump forward as if he’s been punched. “Right,” he says, his voice flat. “Of course. I get it.”
“Quinn, it’s not that I don’t want to be there,” you say quickly, trying to make him understand. “I do, more than anything. But I can’t just drop everything and go. You know that, and even if I could, I can’t afford to fly to Boston.”
There’s a pause, and you see the way his jaw tightens, the frustration simmering beneath the surface. “What if I paid for it?” he blurts out, the words tumbling out in a rush. “I’ll buy the ticket, the hotel—everything. Just come, please.”
Your heart lurches at the desperation in his voice, but you shake your head, even though you know he can’t see it. “Quinn, no. I can’t let you do that. I’m not going to let you spend your money on me like that. It’s... it’s not right.”
“Not right?” he echoes, his voice rising with disbelief. “What’s not right about it? I have the money, it’s not a big deal. I just need you here with me, okay? I need you.”
For a moment, neither of you speak. The silence between you is heavy, oppressive, filled with all the things you want to say but can’t. Your fingers tremble slightly as you grip your phone, and you force yourself to take a deep breath, trying to steady the whirlwind of emotions churning inside you.
“I know you have your own stuff going on,” Quinn finally continues, his voice low and rough, like he's trying to keep it from cracking. “I’m not trying to guilt you into anything. I just—” He breaks off, running a hand over his face, and when he looks back at you, his eyes are dark, shadowed with a pain you don’t often see there. “I just really fucking need you right now.”
The words cut through you like a knife, sharp and searing, leaving a trail of guilt and regret in their wake. You’ve never heard him sound like this before—so raw, so vulnerable. It’s terrifying and heartbreaking all at once, and you wish more than anything that you could just reach through the screen and hold him, tell him that everything’s going to be okay. But you can’t. You’re here, and he’s there, and the distance between you feels like an insurmountable chasm.
“I know,” you whisper, your voice barely more than a breath. “I wish I could be there. You have no idea how much I wish that. But I—”
“But you can’t,” he cuts in, his voice sharper now, edged with frustration. “I get it. You’ve got your own shit to deal with. I’m just... I’m just being selfish, right?”
You wince at the bitterness in his tone, the way it twists his words into something ugly and jagged. “That’s not what I meant,” you say, struggling to keep your voice steady, even as your heart pounds in your chest. “I want to be there for you, I do. But I can’t just leave in the middle of this trip. You know that.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” he mutters, looking away, his gaze drifting to the side as if he can’t bear to look at you anymore. “I’m just supposed to suck it up and deal with it, right? Like I always do.”
The words hit you like a slap, and you can feel the sting of tears pricking at the corners of your eyes. “That’s not fair, Quinn,” you say, your voice trembling with a mixture of anger and hurt. “I’ve always been there for you when I could. But this... this is different. I can’t just drop everything and come running every time you need me. That’s not how this works.”
He flinches at your words, and you can see the flash of pain in his eyes, the way his jaw tightens as if he’s trying to hold back whatever it is he really wants to say. “Yeah, I guess you’re right,” he says, his voice cold, distant. “I guess I’m just asking too much, huh?”
“Quinn, that’s not—”
“No, it’s fine,” he interrupts, his tone clipped and final. “Forget I said anything. I’ll be fine. I always am, right?”
The bitterness in his voice is like a punch to the gut, and you feel your breath hitch, your chest tightening with a pain that’s almost physical. You’ve never fought like this before—never had a conversation that felt so raw, so full of things left unsaid. You want to reach out, to bridge the gap between you, but you don’t know how. You’re standing on opposite sides of a canyon, and every word you say seems to push you both further apart.
“I’m sorry,” you say finally, your voice breaking. “I’m sorry I can’t be there. I wish I could. But I can’t.”
He doesn’t respond right away, just stares at you with those intense, stormy eyes, his expression unreadable. The silence stretches on, thick and suffocating, and you feel like you’re drowning in it, like you can’t breathe.
“Yeah,” he says at last, his voice flat and emotionless. “I guess I’ll see you when I get back to Vancouver, then.”
And just like that, he hangs up, the screen going dark in an instant. You’re left standing there on the cold streets of Montreal, your heart pounding in your chest, tears streaming down your face. The chill bites into your skin, and you feel more alone than ever.
You stare at the blank screen, your mind reeling, trying to process everything that just happened. The conversation plays over and over in your head, each word echoing like a gunshot, each look and gesture seared into your memory. You feel a thousand different emotions at once—anger, sadness, guilt, regret—all tangled together in a messy, painful knot.
How did it come to this? How did you go from comforting each other to tearing each other apart? You don’t know, and that’s the worst part. All you know is that you’re here, and he’s there, and the distance between you has never felt so vast, so unbridgeable.
You take a deep breath, trying to steady yourself, but it’s no use. The tears keep coming, hot and relentless, and you feel like you’re going to break apart right there on the street. You want to scream, to shout, to do something—anything—to make this pain go away. But you can’t. All you can do is stand there, shivering in the cold, your heart aching with a pain that’s too big, too raw, to put into words.
You don’t know what to do. You don’t know how to fix this. All you know is that you miss him. God, you miss him so much it hurts. And you don’t know how you’re supposed to go on without him.
***
It started raining by the time you got onto the train, dingy carry-on suitcase in hand. The ticket was a little pricey, especially to go all the way to Boston, and you’re pretty sure the attendant upcharged you since you couldn’t speak French, but it still ended up way less than a flight.
You tried calling Quinn again, to let him know you were coming and that you completely ditched your business trip for him, but he ignored you. You assume he went back to sleep and he’ll see your texts in the morning, at which you’ll already be in Boston.
Your eyelids feel heavy as you just about drift to sleep, but are rudely awakened by a smooth, feminine voice. “Je n'aime pas votre veste. Pourquoi t'infliges-tu cela?”
Eyes snapping open, you look up to see a young-ish woman with short, dark hair and multiple piercings. You cock your head slightly, and part your lips to speak, to tell her you didn’t understand a word she just said. “I’m sorry, I don’t—“
“Ugh, Touristes,” she interrupts, sitting down in the seat in front of you with no clear intention. She flicks a piece of hair out of her face before speaking again, in an accent at that. “Canucks? Why? They make the playoffs like, once every ten years.” She adds on, gesturing to your jacket which is sporting a rip in the side.
You blink at the woman, still disoriented from the sudden wake-up call. Her words cut through the fog of sleep and confusion like a knife, and you find yourself staring at her, trying to piece together what she just said. Canucks. Of course. You glance down at your jacket, the familiar blue and white logo now feeling like a heavy weight on your chest.
“Um,” you start, your voice coming out hoarse, still thick with sleep. “I’m sorry, I don’t—”
She waves a hand dismissively, a small smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. “Canucks fans. You lot are always apologizing. It’s a shame you had to pick such a tragic team. Cursed, really.” Her accent is thick, the Quebeçois lilt giving her words an almost melodic quality, even as they cut through you.
You should be annoyed—maybe even a little offended—but instead, you just feel tired. So, so tired. The weight of the night’s events, the argument with Quinn, the cold streets of Montreal, and now this stranger's sharp commentary... it’s all too much. You lean back in your seat, running a hand over your face, trying to shake off the lingering remnants of sleep.
“Yeah,” you say, your voice flat, devoid of any real emotion. “I guess I’m just a sucker for punishment.”
She raises an eyebrow, her gaze sharp and curious. “Punishment? That’s an interesting way to put it, especially since they made the final. You with someone on the team?”
The question catches you off guard, and for a moment, you don’t know how to respond. You glance at her, taking in her sharp features, the piercings glinting under the harsh train lights, the dark hair framing her face in a way that makes her look both intimidating and oddly approachable.
“Yeah,” you say finally, your voice barely more than a whisper. “I am.”
Her gaze softens, just a fraction, and she leans back in her seat, crossing her arms over her chest. “Well, that explains the jacket. And the bags under your eyes. You look like you’ve been through hell.”
You let out a humorless laugh, the sound bitter and hollow even to your own ears. “You could say that.”
The woman tilts her head slightly, studying you with a look that feels too knowing, too perceptive. “Let me guess. He called you, all nervous and shit, asking you to come to his game, and you said no because you’ve got your own life to live. And now you’re on a train to Boston in the middle of the night because you feel guilty as hell.”
You stare at her, your mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. How could she know that? How could a complete stranger read you so easily, see right through all the layers of anger and hurt and guilt you’ve been carrying with you?
“How did you—”
She shrugs, cutting you off. “Happened to me once. Well, more than once, actually. You’re not the first girl to hop on a train because her boyfriend’s in his feelings, and you won’t be the last.”
The train rumbles along the tracks, the rhythmic clatter almost drowning out the voice in your head—the one that’s been relentlessly replaying your conversation with Quinn. You can still see the hurt in his eyes, the way his voice trembled with something so raw it made your chest ache. It’s like a heavy weight pressing down on you, suffocating, and you can’t shake it no matter how hard you try.
I should have stayed on the phone longer, you think, the regret gnawing at you. I should have told him I was coming. Why didn’t I just drop everything right then?
But the truth is, you know why. You’re scared too—scared of what this trip means, scared of what it’s doing to you both. Scared that maybe, just maybe, the distance between you isn’t just physical.
“Men,” the woman mutters again, drawing your attention back to her. Her gaze is still locked on you, and there’s something in her eyes that’s almost... sympathetic. “They’re a pain in the ass, but you already know that.”
You nod, unsure of what to say. You can feel the tears starting to gather again, blurring your vision, but you blink them back furiously. No crying, not here. Not in front of a stranger.
The woman seems to sense your struggle because she leans forward, her voice dropping to a softer, almost conspiratorial tone. “Look, I get it. You love him, right?”
You swallow hard and nod again, unable to find your voice.
She sighs, shaking her head. “That’s the problem, isn’t it? You love him, so you do things like this—ditch your work, jump on a train in the middle of the night, all because you can’t stand the thought of him being upset.”
You wince, feeling the truth of her words hit home. She’s right, you think bitterly. I’m an idiot.
“But here’s the thing,” she continues, her voice taking on a hard edge. “If he really cares about you, he shouldn’t be asking you to make sacrifices like this. He shouldn’t make you feel guilty for having your own life.”
You open your mouth to protest, but she holds up a hand, stopping you. “Don’t get me wrong—I’m not saying you shouldn’t be there for him. But it’s a two-way street. If he’s worth it, he’ll understand that sometimes you can’t just drop everything for him. And if he doesn’t... well, can he even make you come, sweetheart?”
You stare at the woman, her words hanging in the air between you, heavy and sharp. Her bluntness catches you off guard, leaving you fumbling for a response. But before you can say anything, she raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing at the corners of her lips.
"Well, can he?" she presses, her voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and challenge.
Your mind flashes back to the last time you and Quinn were together. You’d just gotten back to his apartment after one of his games, his hair still damp from the shower, and his eyes dark with that post-game intensity you’ve come to know so well. You remember how his hands felt on your skin, rough and desperate, how his breath hitched when you whispered his name, the way he pulled you closer like he couldn’t stand even an inch of space between you.
Your cheeks heat up at the memory, and you find yourself squirming in your seat, your gaze dropping to the floor as the images play out in your mind. The way his lips felt against your neck, the low growl that rumbled through his chest when you wrapped your legs around him, the way he whispered filthy, desperate things in your ear as he moved against you...
But then the doubt creeps in. The argument you just had, the way he hung up on you, the miles between you right now. Can he really make you come, in every sense of the word? Or are you just convincing yourself that he’s worth all this pain?
The woman’s smirk grows as she watches the flush creep up your neck, and she lets out a low chuckle. “Thought so,” she says, her voice softer now, almost sympathetic. “But here’s the thing, sweetheart: It’s not just about that. Yeah, the sex is important, but what really matters is if he makes you feel wanted, if he’s there for you even when you’re not in the same room.”
You let out a long breath, the weight of her words settling on your shoulders. She’s right. The chemistry you have with Quinn is undeniable, but is that enough? Is it enough to carry you through the hard times, the nights like tonight when you’re three hundred miles apart, and the only thing connecting you is a shaky FaceTime call?
“I don’t know,” you admit quietly, your voice barely more than a whisper. “I don’t know if it’s enough.”
The woman leans back in her seat, crossing her legs and giving you a long, appraising look. “You remind me of myself a few years ago,” she says after a moment, her tone a little softer. “I was in a relationship like that—crazy about the guy, but always questioning if it was enough. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. He left, just like the ones before him. But you know what? I survived. Hell, I thrived.”
You raise an eyebrow, skepticism creeping into your expression. “So, what are you saying? That I should just give up on him?”
She shakes her head, her earrings jingling with the motion. “No, no. I’m not telling you to dump the guy. I’m just saying, don’t lose yourself in him. Make sure he’s giving as much as he’s taking. And for God’s sake, make sure he’s actually good for you. Sometimes, we fall for the wrong ones, and it takes a while to figure that out.”
You frown, turning her words over in your mind. It’s not what you want to hear, but deep down, you know there’s truth in it. You’ve always been there for Quinn, but has he really been there for you in the same way? And if not, what does that say about your relationship?
“I don’t know if I can just... stop caring,” you say, your voice wavering. “He means so much to me.”
The woman’s expression softens, and she reaches across the aisle to gently touch your hand. “You don’t have to stop caring, sweetheart. Just make sure you’re caring about yourself, too. Love isn’t about losing who you are; it’s about finding someone who makes you better, who pushes you to be the best version of yourself.”
You nod, trying to absorb her words, but your mind keeps circling back to Quinn—to the way he looked on that FaceTime call, all raw and vulnerable, the way he admitted how much he needed you. He’s not perfect, but he’s yours. And maybe, just maybe, that’s worth fighting for.
The woman leans back, sensing your inner turmoil, and her smirk returns, but it’s gentler this time. “But hey, if he can make you come like that... maybe he’s worth a little more thought, huh?”
You can’t help but laugh at that, a soft, breathy sound that feels like a release of some of the tension that’s been building inside you. “Yeah, maybe,” you say, a small smile tugging at your lips.
She grins, satisfied with your reaction, and settles back into her seat. “Look, relationships are messy, and they’re hard, and sometimes they don’t make a damn bit of sense. But if he’s worth it, you’ll figure it out. Just don’t lose sight of yourself along the way.”
The train rumbles beneath you, the rhythmic clacking of the tracks providing a steady, comforting background noise as you mull over her words. The exhaustion you felt earlier is still there, but it’s less suffocating now, the weight of your doubts a little lighter.
You glance over at the woman, her eyes now closed, arms folded across her chest as she settles in for what’s left of the journey. There’s a quiet strength in her that you admire, a resilience born of experience and heartbreak, and you wonder if someday you’ll be able to look back with the same clarity, the same sense of peace.
For now, all you can do is keep moving forward, one step at a time. You still have hours to go before you reach Boston, before you can see Quinn and try to bridge the gap that’s grown between you. But for the first time tonight, you feel a small spark of hope, a tiny flame of determination that maybe, just maybe, things will be okay.
And with that thought, you close your eyes, letting the gentle sway of the train lull you into a fitful sleep, Quinn’s face still lingering in your mind, his voice echoing in your ears.
You’ll figure this out. You have to.

Crush; Bo Sinclair
Bo has a crush, but so does Lester.
Warnings: Jealous!Bo, swearing.
Tumblr media
Bo Sinclair was an asshole, anyone who knew him knew this fact, however, there was a side of him – albeit rare – that could be kind and loving, although, there was only one person who he deemed worthy of this side.
Y/N was everything that Bo was not: sweet, kind, caring, and loving. She was any man’s dream. Perhaps this was why Lester craved her, much to Bo’s dismay.
Whilst Bo’s initial craving for her was lust, it soon transformed into genuine feelings, something which terrified him. He didn’t believe that he could love, nor did he think he was worthy of being loved.
“Bo,” Y/N whined, capturing the mechanics attention as he lay beneath a truck. She watched as the man rolled out to look at her, oil clinging to his face.
“What is it?” He asked.
“I’m bored,”
With a roll of his eyes, Bo pushed himself back underneath the truck, turning his attention back to the job at hand. He enjoyed her company he truly did, but there were times when he couldn’t stand to be around her. It was nothing personal, he just didn’t know how to control himself.
The revealing clothes that she was wearing in the summer heat left little to the imagination and Bo almost wished he could take a picture of her, capturing her in all her glory, not that he would ever admit he saw her that way to anybody besides himself; he often struggled to admit it to himself.
He could feel her eyes on him, although he didn’t know why she was so focused on him, but it made it hard to focus. What was supposed to be an easy job was suddenly made harder with her focus solely on him; he almost felt insecure. Almost.
Bo knew he was both attractive and charming, but when around her he couldn’t help but wonder if she saw him the same way. In fact, that was something he pondered often. She was Vincent’s friend, that was how he came to know her and how she ended up residing in Ambrose after a ‘complication’ with her previous partner.
He remembered the nights she spent crying whilst Vincent comforted her, both with hugs and pats on the head which Bo found odd as Vincent was not one for physical touch. Bo would never admit he was jealous, and besides, he wasn’t aware of his feelings then.
The feelings came rushing to him one night as he found her in the kitchen. She was making a coffee after giving up on sleep a little after her breakup. Tears stained her cheeks, be it from the bad memories or the breakup itself, and Bo couldn’t remember the last time he had cried or seen somebody cried; maybe it was Lester when they were younger, he wasn’t sure.
“Sorry,” she had apologised to him. “I’ll get out of your way.”
Bo hesitated for a moment, something that he wasn’t used to. Sure, he had talked to her a few times, but rarely alone. He wasn’t big on conversation with new people, let alone friends of Vincent.
“It’s fine, don’t worry ‘bout it.” Came his response, shocking them both.
“Are you sure?”
“Course, s’pose it’s your house too for now.”
Little did he know, she would become a permanent resident in the Sinclair household.
“Thank you, Bo,” she smiled sweetly at him, and despite the tears staining her cheeks, he found her beautiful. He knew in that moment that he wanted her in more than a sexual way.
“Why are you staring?” Bo asked from beneath the truck.
Y/N paused for a moment, mouth opening and closing as she struggled to form an answer. “Admiring the view, I guess.” She said with a shrug and Bo could feel his cheeks warming but he simply blamed it on the heat; ignorance is bliss, after all.
Never in his life had he thought he would feel this way and it was terrifying to say the least.
“Oh, hi, Lester!” Y/N grinned, unable to see how Bo’s eyebrows furrowed and a frown formed on his lips. “How are you?”
“I’m all right, Y/N/N. How’re ya?” Bo could hear the smile as Lester spoke and his frown grew.
Y/N’s attention turned from Bo to Lester, red dusting her cheeks from the summer air, and maybe because she was called out for staring.
“I’m good! Me and Bo are just working. Well, he’s working and I’m just sitting here.” A giggle fell from her lips and both the men’s hearts warmed.
As Lester and Y/N’s conversation continued, Bo found himself zoning out, anger forming in his chest. He hated them interacting, having known about Lester’s feelings for his ‘crush’ for a while now. Even if Lester wouldn’t admit it, Bo knew; he always knew.
Rolling out from beneath the truck, Bo spoke. “If you two want to carry on talking, can you do it somewhere else!?” He snapped, immediately regretting it upon seeing the way Y/N’s face dropped. He did debate apologising, but his ego was too big to do so.
She paused for a moment before lifting herself to her feet, silently nodding before walking away, Lester following like a lost puppy.
Tumblr media
Bo’s anger continued to fester for the rest of the day, even as he entered the house, slamming the door behind him.
“Hi, Bo,” Y/N greeted him, but it went ignored as Bo removed his boots.
It was safe to assume that Bo was in one of his usual bad moods and Vincent had signed to her that it was best to ignore him when he got like this when she first came to stay. It was the unspoken rule of the house, so she turned her attention back to the television in front of her.
Bo, of course, was paying attention and seeing that Lester had left had his bad mood calming slightly, his tense shoulders relaxing ever so slightly. A quiet sigh of relief was next, although it went unheard by the woman that held his affections.
 “I see your little boyfriend left,” Bo broke the silence.
“Boyfriend?”
“Lester.”
“He’s not my boyfriend…?” It was safe to say that Y/N was confused.
“He seems quite smitten on you.”
“I don’t see him that way.”
Bo relaxed some more and this time it didn’t go unnoticed by Y/N, nor did his dilated pupils. She wasn’t stupid, she knew what that meant.
As she stood up, a plan formed in her mind, but if she was wrong about this, she risked ruining everything, including their close friendship.
What is life without a little risk? She reasoned with herself.
Bo watched her as she moved closer, eventually standing in front of him and toying with the collar of his thin jacket, fixing it despite knowing that he would remove it soon.
“There is somebody I see that way, though,” she said, looking up at him with a coy smile that had Bo’s heart racing.
“Is that so?” He muttered, watching her closely.
“Yeah,” her smile grew, hands reaching out to grasp his face, taking it slowly and gently so that he could pull away at any time.
But he didn’t pull away, in fact, he couldn’t resist any longer and his face dived down, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.
She could taste a mix of cigarettes and beer on his lips, but it wasn’t something she minded; it was very Bo and she loved him for who he was, flaws and all.
Whilst her hands gently cupped his cheeks, Bo’s reached out to lightly grasp both her waist and the back of her neck as he continued to kiss her. It was something he didn’t want to pull away from. The sensation of her lips on his and his hands on her had his heart beating a million miles per minute and the feeling itself gave him a high better than any drug ever could.
When they separated, Y/N’s gaze turned downwards, a dark blush coating her cheeks.
“I didn’t know if that was a good idea,” she admitted. “I’m hoping it was.”
Bo paused for a moment, feeling as though he was unable to speak. “I think it was,” his voice was quiet yet filled with emotion which was unusual for the man. “As long as you liked it, then I think it was, at least.”
“I did like it,”
Bo smiled, and whilst it was a small smile, it was noticeable to her.
“So did I.”

„Baby? I’m home.“
Hyunjin came back from practice, beaten and tired, but eager to see you again. He threw his new Versace bag in the corner and scouted the area for you. “Baby?”
But his baby was nowhere to be found. He looked for you in every room – the living room was empty even though there were still some vanilla scented candles burning. Your bedroom was empty too, it still looked the same way it did when Hyunjin left you this morning. Now he was getting worried. “Y/Nnie?” He opened the door to your office but that was empty, too. Silently, he muttered to himself. “Damn, y/n, where are you?”
It wasn’t until he opened the door to the bathroom that he found you – passed out on the cold marble tiles.
Hyunjin was startled but quickly regained composure as he noticed your journal right next to you. He smirked amused. “Did you fall asleep while journaling again? What are you manifesting this time, baby?”
He crouched down and took a look at your journal, his handsome features suddenly turned ice-cold. Privacy was important in every relationship, especially this one, but he couldn’t help himself. He scanned the pages roughly – words of self-abuse were written all over those white pages. Hyunjin turned around and took a good look at you. Your face, even though you were asleep, looked in distress. Your cheeks were reddened, eyes puffy with your mascara smeared, turning you into a panda. “My baby cried herself to exhaustion”, he muttered in disbelief.
Your boyfriend decided to let you sleep for a while and invaded your privacy instead, he needed to know what made you upset like this. Was it wrong? Yes. Did he care? No.
He sat right next to you and took your journal into his hands. He once gifted you this brown leather book, in the hopes of you filling it with the most beautiful words. But what was written in here was far from beautiful.
I had a talk with Chan today. His daddy sensors were tingling, and he somehow knew that I felt off. I swear to God, he sees me as another kid of his. But I admit, it feels nice. I don’t like talking about my insecurities but with him it’s kinda easy. I never talk about them with anyone, not even Jinnie. I just can’t. I don’t want to.
Hyunjin stopped reading and let out a deep sigh. He looked at you again, wondering why you kept secrets from him. It hurt him tremendously, the love of his life couldn’t communicate her deepest pain with him. Instead, she talked to his hyung? He would confront Chan later, now was not the time for more drama.
How did I end up talking to Chan in the first place? Well, I ran into him when I was on the way back home. I had a very important doctor’s appointment today.
Hyunjin’s whole body shuddered, anxiety taking over. An important doctor’s appointment? How did he not know this? Were you sick? Was something wrong? He panicked, internally debating if he should wake you this instant. He chose to continue reading instead.
I have very bad period cramps and decided to check them out, so I went to the doctor. And he did some tests and what do you know? I might not be fertile. Can you believe that? Me, a young woman in the prime of her life, may not be fertile. I might never become a mom. Jinnie might never become a dad. At least, not with me.
Hyunjin choked.
Panicked, he turned around and faced you again. “Baby. My baby, I am so sorry. I am so so sorry that you had to handle this on your own. Oh my god, y/nnie.” He caressed your cheek with his hand and watched you sleep. He felt guilty, as if he missed out on important parts of your life. Why didn’t you trust him with this?
He noticed the tear strains on the next pages, tearing up as well.
It’s not fair.
Life is not fair. Why is something like this happening to me? I always took care of my body. I eat healthy, I work out, I take my vitamins but somehow, I’m not able to become a mom? Heck, I don’t even know if I want kids, but now I probably will never have the choice to decide.
Why me?
Hyunjin stopped reading for a second. He felt your pain in every written word and it shook him to the core. He couldn’t even imagine what it must be like to be in your skin right now.
And after this appointment I ran into Chan in the park. I didn’t want to talk about it, but I guess I needed to let off some steam. I told him about the test results, and I told him that I felt like a giant failure, and I told him that I had no idea how I should tell Jinnie. Or rather if I should tell him at all or simply break up with him.
Hyunjin rolled his eyes at your dramatic ass. “As if you just could break up with me y/n. You’re stuck with me forever.” He continued reading.
Chan just listened and asked me one single question. Just one.
Do you believe you’re worthy of being loved?
Isn’t it funny how one question can catch you off guard? Because that is exactly what happened. And now I’m sitting here on the cold bathroom floor trying to make sense of it.
Do I believe I’m worthy of being loved?
“Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes”, Hyunjin muttered under his breath.
I guess?
I mean I have a wonderful boyfriend who clearly loves me very much, so the answer kind of has to be yes.
But do -I- believe I am worthy of being loved?
Hyunjin paused one last time and looked at you. He wondered if he should stop reading, he wondered if he was armed for whatever was about to come. Did you really not believe you were worthy of being loved? He felt the pit in his stomach, realizing he had to be the shittiest boyfriend on the planet. Not only did you keep secrets from him, but you also questioned something so banal. Wasn’t it his job to show you the exact opposite?
He let out a sigh and continued reading.
If I’m totally honest? No.
I never felt like that. I always felt like I had to be perfect in order to be worthy of love. But I never was perfect. And I never will be. My tits are too small. My tummy is too fat. My hair is too flat. My lips are too thin. I’m not cool enough. Now I’m not healthy enough. And soon I won’t be young enough. So no, I never felt like I was good enough to be loved.
Hyunjin cried silently, reading every word with care.
How the fuck am I supposed to tell Jinnie? He is going to leave me; he should leave me. I’m not normal, I’m flawed. I don’t deserve to be with him. He deserves someone better, someone on his level. Someone that is just as beautiful and popular as him. Someone with big tits and a flat tummy and super big hair and plush lips that he can kiss all night long. Someone that is healthy and might gift him a child someday. That can never be me.
Hyunjin tossed your journal aside and started bawling, his sobs distracting the silence of the night. He couldn’t believe this; he couldn’t believe you. Were you serious? That's what you thought of yourself? Why did you hate yourself so much?
His crying woke you up, alerting you in seconds. You got up on your feet and hugged him, holding him as tight as you could. “Jinnie, what’s wrong? Talk to me.”
He hugged you back and sobbed into your shirt, you were barely understanding a word.
“You, y/n, you’re what’s wrong!”
You paused, scanning the room for your journal. It was lying on the floor next to your crying boyfriend.
“Did you…?”
He nodded, wiping away his tears. Anger masked the shame you were feeling as you wanted to get up, but he was quicker and hugged you in the tightest embrace known to mankind.
“I had no right to, I’m sorry y/nnie. I am so, so sorry.”
Even though you felt ashamed you were relieved, too. Finally, the cat was out of the bag, and you didn’t have to carry this big burden on your own. You hugged for a while, both of you crying silently.
“Can we talk about what you wrote?”
“Do we need to?” You looked down.
His index finger tilted your chin carefully, looking at you with the utmost care. “Yes, my love. We need to.”
You sighed and gave in.
“Do you really feel that way?”
“Hm.”
“Do you think I’m perfect?”
“Of course. You are perfect, Jinnie.”
He rolled his eyes at you. “Sometimes you remind me of a fourteen-year-old girl, y/n.”
You got offended: “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“You do realize that nobody is perfect? Not even me?”
You scoffed. “Did you tell your face that?”
He let out a laugh. “You’re so silly, baby. What did you write about your tits being too small and your tummy too fat? I could say the same thing about me being too skinny and not ripped enough. You do realize that we all are beautiful in our own way? And that everybody got a different taste? What if I liked your tits this size? What if I loved your curves exactly like that? Has that ever occurred to you?”
It had not.
“And let’s talk about you being not normal. I understand that the fertility thing is a grave prophecy but that doesn’t make you less normal than anybody else. It doesn’t diminish your worth baby. Nothing could ever do that. Do you get that?”
You grabbed the hem of his shirt tighter and started sobbing again. “Jinnie, what if I can never conceive? What then?” He placed a soft kiss on the top of your head. “Then we’ll figure out a way, my love. Whatever happens, we’ll figure it out.”
You looked up at him. “Are you sure?”
He chuckled, flashing you his warmest smile. “Yes, I am sure. I love you, y/n. I love you for who you are. I fell for your soul baby, not your body or what you could do for me. To me you are absolutely perfect.” He kissed the tears away, holding you even more closely. “Y/Nnie? Don’t ever think that my love for you is-“

Jealous Ex!Katsuki x Fem!Reader
A/N: this is totally not based off of how i wish my ex acted when i had a creep hitting on me ha.
MDNI - SMUT BELOW CUT.
WARNINGS: ANGST/COMFORT, SLEAZY CREEP, HURT, UNPROTECTED SEX, RECONCILIATION SEX, DRUNK SEX
-
It’s been six months. And I’m one drink down for every month since he left me. So I really shouldn’t feel as sick as I do when a random wraps their arm around my waist.
He tugs me into his scrawny, shirtless figure and my stomach lurches.
Everything smells of stale cigarette smoke.
This is wrong.
Gently I push the stranger off, wandering back towards the bar. A tired smile from the bartender greets me.
“Hi lovely,” I smile, jumping up on the barstool.
“What can I do for you babes?” The small person hums, mousy hair flopping across their face.
“Can you make me another one of those yummy cocktails? Y’know, the one with the fireball and the-” I start, leaning inwards.
“The one that tastes like autumn?” They finish, a knowing smile.
“Yes!” I can feel my head slosh as I nod. Maybe I’m more tipsy than I thought.
Unwanted arms twist around my waist yet again.
“Hey pretty,” Unkempt long hair tickles my shoulder. Hot breath on my neck.
“I’m gonna go back to dancing,” I excuse myself, untangling us. Clutching my drink, I weave in and out of the crowd. The warmth is more uncomfortable than it was before, sticky and clammy.
A pain in my shoulder, my drink wasted on myself and the floor.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry” I start, embarrassment heating my cheeks.
“Hey, watch where you’re-” A voice, so familiar it hurts. Low, and consistently gravelly.
“y/n.” Shock changes his tone. Aggression turns soft. My heart squeezes.
Six months.
Six months and I’m still so undeniably in love with Bakugou Katsuki it hurts me.
“Hi,” I mumble, eyes trained on my hands.
He clears his throat and my eyes can’t help but follow the noise.
Rubies.
I always said his eyes were rubies.
Not the blood of his enemies, like Kaminari so often joked.
Rubies.
Warmth and pain mixes inside of me, and I find myself biting my tongue.
I love you.
It would be so easy to say.
“Aww did you spill ya drink pretty? ‘S okay, I’ll get you another one.” Cigarette overtakes my smell and I do everything not to gag.
“Um, I’m actually gonna head home.” Shaking the man off yet again, I go to turn around.
“Ooh, ready for some fun are we? Lead the way, beautiful.” Hands around my waist, and my throat closes.
“No.” I shake my head, squirming out of his arms yet again.
“Aww, but baby” His arms are tighter this time, face nuzzled into my neck.
“Oi, she told you to fuck off.” Katsuki steps forward, and I go to turn my head.
“Ha, you’re just jealous that I’m gonna get somma this tonight.” Wet warmth trails up my neck and I cringe away.
Stifling hold is suddenly tugged away.
“She’s not interested, dickhead. Now fuck off before I make you.” Katsuki’s voice is grim, fearless. All I can focus on is wiping the saliva off my neck.
“Fuckin fine. She’s not that cute anyway.” I hear a huff becoming more and more distant.
Another arm. New, but old; drapes across my shoulders.
“Gonna walk you home to make sure no more creeps try’nd attack you.” Katsuki mumbles, gently guiding me through the crowd.
“Thanks,” I whisper.
The outside air is cold, drawing me closer to the man’s core heat. Small sparks on my shoulder act as a radiator.
The walk is quiet, and my head swims too much to understand if its comfortable or uncomfortable.
Only when we reach my apartment, does his warm arm leave me.
As if it’s muscle memory, he lifts up the pot plant; grabbing the spare key and letting us in. Kicking off my shoes, I wander towards the next best warmth I can get.
My bed is cushy, a welcome comfort.
Katsuki enters not too long after, water and toast in hand.
“You need to eat before you sleep,” He says, plopping down next to me.
Rubies, full of warmth.
“Why are you being so nice?” I mumble, eyes stinging.
I miss this. I miss him.
“Cause I fucked up,” He whispers.
“What did you do this time, Bakugou?” I sigh, picking up the glass.
“I hurt someone because I didn’t want them to hurt me first.”
My heart hitches.
“But then I realised that all I did was hurt both of us, for no goddamn reason.”  The water splashes against the sides of the glass as I tremble uncontrollably.
“She won’t even say my name anymore.” The grief is heavy in his voice, breaking it gently. And I can’t hold back my tears.
“You said you didn’t love me anymore,” My voice warbles past the lump in my throat.
“I knew you could do better,” He mumbles, picking at the duvet he helped me choose.
“I don’t want better!” I cry, gripping the glass.
“I want you.” Glancing over, I can’t help but stare.
Bakugo Katsuki does not cry.
Yet diamonds fall from rubies.
“Then be mine again. Please.” He whispers, voice catching.
And all I can do is nod.
Coolness of glass leaves my hands. Warmth cradles my cheeks.
“Thank you baby,” His lips meet mine, and I’m home.
Home tastes like cheap cola from the bar.
Home is our teeth clashing as we smile through tears and kisses.
Home is my fingers twisting through staticy blond.
“I missed you so much,” I whisper against his jaw.
“Missed you more.” Strong arms pull me effortlessly into his lap. His hands stay on my hips, tracing gentle circles.
“Lemme show you how much I missed you.” Katsuki asks, tugging me impossibly closer. Kisses tickle down my neck, and my entire body floods with adoration.
“Please,” I nuzzle into his hair, savouring the closeness. I jerk my neck away as he gently bites exactly where he knows I hate.
“Katsuki,” I whine, shoving his face away. A warm chuckle reverberates through his chest. The sound is contagious, making bubbles in my chest.
“You’re an ass,” I bite back my smile, gentling pushing him further.
“Yeah, but I’m your ass.” He mumbles, pulling me back in. Arms push me down, feeling him grow beneath me.
My body clenches excitedly, as familiar hands start tracing up my stomach.
“Take this stupid thing off,” His voice vibrates against my neck, as he tugs at the hem of my top.
“Hm,” I muse loudly, deciding to have some fun. “No, I don’t think so.”
“You little shit,” He growls fondly, pushing the top up as his hands wander further. A gentle squeeze to my breasts is all I need to continue my attack on his jaw.
“But I’m your little shit,” I mock inbetween kisses. I feel his jaw clench beneath my touch.
“Alright, thats it.” He huffs, wrapping an arm around my waist.
Suddenly, I’m off his lap; the bed bouncing at my sudden shift in weight. The bubbles in my chest build until they burst into a fit of giggles.
“There’s my pretty woman,” Katsuki smiles, eyes soft. Gently, he fully removes my top. And then his own.
The warmth of skin on skin is a comfort I’ve missed oh so much.
Obviously, Katsuki missed it just as much; face disappearing into the valley between my breasts.
Soft kisses leave pins and needles, and I reach for his hand. In an instant, our fingers are interlocked.
Like he never left.
I revel in the moment, using my free hand to trace patterns on his shoulders.
Small sparks greet my skin as his other hand massages my thigh. I feel myself dampen at the closeness - leaning into his touch.
“You sure you want this pretty woman? You’re still tipsy,” Its so odd, hearing such soft words from such a hardened, aggressive man.
“Please, Kats” I breathe, moving my hand to his hair. A hum of agreement, and his loving assault continues.
I keep tracing patterns, unintentionally digging down as his hands get close to where I want them - no - need them to be.
A ghost of a touch, and I’m pushing myself up to meet him.
“Missed me that bad, did we?” He scoffs in amusement, fingers circling my clothed clit.
“Like you’re one to talk,” I mumble, cheeks heating. Softly grinding on me, my breath hitches.
“Sorry baby, but I’m not waiting anymore,” He whispers, pulling my panties off; his boxers following suit.
Rubies bore into me, sparkling with adoration.
And suddenly, pain and pleasure all in one.
“C’mon, you’re okay. You can take it.” Katsuki praises as he thrusts in. I blink through watery eyes, nodding.
The movement is slow at first, just until the pain falls away.
Then, its relentless.
The sound of skin on skin echoes through my small apartment, going at an unholy speed. My toes scrunch as I’m sent into ecstasy.
“See how much I missed you?” Hands grasp my hair, moving my head to the side to leave kiss after kiss.
“See how much I love you?” He grunts into my neck, suckling right near my jaw. Words fail, leaving me only able to whimper in response.
“Yeah that’s right,” He whispers to me, fastening his pace. More whines bubble past my lips.
“Love you so much, never gonna leave again, you hear that?” His words a near hiss, nipping my neck gently.
“Kats, kats, please,” I beg, gripping onto him for dear life. My stomach coils, and I don’t know how long I’ll last.
“Come on baby, cum for me.” He encourages, pushing deeper, faster.
I break, legs spasming as I gush.
But Kastuki doesn’t stop.
Instead, he pushes my ankles up near my ears - keeping his relentless pace. Tears spill over my cheeks at the overstimulation.
“Just a little longer, okay?” He promises, hot breath painting my thighs. I nod frantically, practically melting into the bed.
But the coil tightens again, and I can’t help but squirm.
“Come on, together this time. Where do you want me?” Katsuki asks, somehow pumping harder.
“Inside,” I croak through tears. It’s too much.
An eyebrow raises.
“You wan’t me to make you a mama, that it?” He huffs, beads of crystalline sweat coating his brow.
“Mhm,” I whine, clenching at the thought.
“Fuck, y/n.” He grunts, burying himself into me.
Warmth floods me, and my blond lover collapses ontop of me.
“Love you so much, Katsuki,” I whisper, tangling my hands through his hair. I press a gentle kiss to his temple.
“Love you more, dumbass.” He sighs, kissing wherever he can reach.
-BONUS-
“I guess this means you’re reinvited to Tsu and ‘Chako’s wedding.” I hum, scratching his head.
“The fuck you mean ‘reinvited’?” Katsuki snarls sleepily, nuzzling into my neck.
“Honey, you were my plus one. You never got your own invite,” I gently remind him, amusement tickling my insides.
“What cunts.” He grumbles, pulling me close.
“Katsuki!”

Warnings: Language, drinking, phone smushing in anger
Genre: Smut, angst and fluff
Wordcount: ~ 3,324
A/N: IT’S OCTOBER 3RD
Tumblr media
“I love this colour on you.” Miyeon murmured, one of her hands put a stray of your hair behind your ear, in the other one she held a glass of champagne.
Your heads were almost pressed together, as both of you were watching your new nails.
“Thank you.” Your smile being slightly uneasy because of the sudden proximity between you two.
The thing was that you weren’t uncomfortable, in fact you were yearning for more of Miyeon. The two of you had known each other for many years and that little crush you developed on her was slowly getting out of control.
Especially whenever it was only the two of you hanging out just like that night at her apartment when the living room was lit by purple LED lights and few candles. With her weekend finally off, Miyeon invited you for a fun, girly sleepover.
Unfortunately for you, three glasses of champagne later, Miyeon was already feeling slightly more playful and touchy, in your opinion bold even.
She did not see any problem with her knee touching yours all the time, it also seemed like there was no need for her to explain her fingers fidgeting with sleeves of your hoodie.
“It’s unbelievable how you can literally pull off anything.” Miyeon’s back rested against the couch, after she put her glass, half empty on the table. Her eyelids were moving slower and slower.
It was almost 2 AM - the time when all of her tiredness was making its’ way to acknowledgement.
“It’s just nail color, come on.” You shrugged trying your best not to show how her raspy voice was affecting you.
“But I meant everything, clothes, hair colors...” You bit your lip when Miyeon paused and tense silence filled the space between you. “I think even bald you’d still be the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.”
Her brown, Bambi eyes raised up to meet yours. Corners of her lips also raised coyly creating a soft yet charming smile. The rest of her face was serious, as if Miyeon really wanted you to hear her out.
“I-I can’t be the prettiest girl you’ve ever seen. I mean you’re an idol yourself working with and seeing all these other beautiful idols everyday.” You shook your head with an amused smile.
“Y/N?”
You hummed with a raised eyebrow.
“For once, just shut up.” Her words came out quietly but also stern.
Your eyes widened in shock.
“Now you’re just being mean.” You scoffed, not used to Miyeon talking to you like that. Yes, it was in a playful manner, but the two of you were usually very sweet to each other.
“I’m serious when I say you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen and I’m also serious when I say that anything you wear looks incredibly good on you. Y/N, I-” Miyeon stopped suddenly and before continuing she licked her lips. “I like you.”
“I like you too.” She frowned at your response.
“Not like that. I really do like you, Y/N. And you’re more than just a friend to me.” You could clearly see how hard Miyeon was trying not to reveal her nervousness. Her voice as well as her breathing was unsteady, brunette tried to busy her fingers with the hem of her gray hoodie this time. On the inside she was already shaking in regret - was it a good idea to let you know the truth?
It was easy to panic when she did not hear a single word back from you. The look on your face in that moment was also something she couldn’t really interpret. Yes, you looked shocked to your core with your mouth hanging slightly open, but was it a good kind of shock? Was there a chance that you reciprocated her feelings? What if there was no going back now and all these years of friendship had ended right then and there?
“I-I didn’t... It’s not-” Miyeon began apologizing when something cut her off. It was you or more specifically your lips brushing against hers.
And before she even knew it, Miyeon’s eyes fell closed, your kiss just felt incredibly natural.
You trembled slightly in her arms when her hand cupped your cheek gently. Once her sweet smell hit your nose you were about to explode, you were certain. The heat of Miyeon’s skin, her soft touches and those two hums she let out against your mouth were overwhelming.
“I-... You-” You pulled away, a breathless stuttering mess. “Do you actually like me? Is this really happening?”
Brunette giggled loudly, her response came as another kiss and a quickly muttered ‘yes’.
This time was way more passionate, Miyeon even pushed you against the couch and straddled hurriedly. Your eyebrows raised in surprise nevertheless you were far from complaining. Like a snake you let your arms sneak around brunette’s tiny waist, you pressed her body firmly against yours. Miyeon raised your chin with her finger so that she had the best access to your neck. At first, she was only pecking your skin there, but soon enough her actions turned less soft.
“Are you sure? I mean, isn’t it too fast?” You moaned suddenly feeling her teeth graze the column of your throat.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this.” Her deep voice was there again. You bit your lip hard in order to contain yourself. As she straightened her back, those Bambi eyes looked down at you. “Love me, Y/N.”
You intertwined your fingers and brought her hand up to you lips. That was your answer.
Miyeon smirked, in her head probably already imagining all the things the two of you were about to do. Then, when she tried to lean in you gripped her thighs before picking up her whole body with bedroom being your destination.
“I really have to start working out too.” Brunette gasped wrapping her arms around your neck. She loved staying so close to you, especially now while you were showing off, Miyeon couldn’t help but adore you even more. Seconds later, you gently put her on that huge bed and your lips met again.
Surprisingly, it was her who took your shirt off first, although hers joined your on the floor almost immediately. Her, who pushed you to lay down on a cotton pillow. Despite everything you did your best to stay gentle with your actions.
Also, you just really wanted to see Miyeon’s vision for your first night together.
And just like with anything else you could imagine - there was no way she’d let you down.
Her eager mouth made sure to mark as many spots on your skin as possible, Miyeon especially liked your reaction at her biting onto your collarbone. That deep moan you let out got her thighs squeezing, she could already feel how wet and desperate she was getting for you.
Refusing to wait any longer, Miyeon got rid of her pants making you follow quickly.
“There’s no going back now.” She whispered with her 40 degrees nose resting against yours.
“I don’t want to go back.” You answered while your hand was sneakily getting to the clip of her bra.
Miyeon sighed in relief once the last piece of clothing in your way fell down, she hid her face in your hair feeling way too hot, shy even, after you started playing with her boobs. You cherished each and every single whine that escaped her. And even though it was your first time seeing and touching her breasts you felt addicted already to the softness of her skin.
“Oh, Miyeon.” You whimpered when she sat down directly on your thigh and pressed down on it.
“Shit, Y/N.” Her wet folds created such an intense, pleasant feeling on your leg, you bit your lip harshly.
Just as Miyeon’s hips began to rock back and forth you expected her on focusing on chasing her own pleasure while riding your thigh, but that’s when she surprised you once again. Her long, slim fingers reached out to the wetness that arose in between your legs.
“Fuck-” Both of you panted, lost in your own intimate paradise.
With no warning, Miyeon pushed two digits into your dripping core causing you to mewl weakly. The way she curled them inside you made you wonder where she got that experience from.
“Baby, right there. Please don’t stop.” Brunette gripped your shoulder tightly with her right hand while her left one was knuckles deep in, fucking you.
You gripped her hips in order to guide her a little faster, make her press down a bit harder and finally to turn her into a moaning, sweaty mess that won’t be able to walk properly the next day.
Miyeon’s back arched unexpectedly when you flexed your thigh, she started shaking and soon after that her limit was reached. Bambi eyes rolled to the back of her head, as she came with a loud cry.
She never let her fingers rest though, through it all they kept on pumping in and out of you, it was becoming too much. The rhythm of her hips, breathy sounds she was making and all the sweat coating both of your bodies - you felt like passing out.
When your climax came, with teary eyes you kept on repeating Miyeon’s name like she was the only thing you’d ever gotten to touch, hear and see. In no time you felt overstimulated which made you push Miyeon’s hand away.
“S-sensitive.” You mumbled, still helping her ‘down’ from your leg and lay beside you.
Both your chests continued on raising and falling rapidly, when you felt her curious eyes on you. You turned your head to the right to take a long look at the most wonderful woman you’ve ever met.
Miyeon was already curled on her left side, her face illuminated only by the moonlight. She trapped your leg between hers, as she let herself stare at you endlessly. You didn’t even need her to say anything - Bambi eyes were your answers.
Only when her breathing returned to normal, her cheeks slowly regained their pale colour and you noticed her messy hair did you acknowledge what the two of you had actually done.
Shyly, you closed your eyes.
“Told you there’s no going back.”
With a hum, you nuzzled your face into her shoulder.
~
Grinning like an idiot, you walked into the kitchen with the intention of making coffee for your lover and you. It was around 9 AM and Miyeon was also up, already locked in the bathroom while brushing teeth and washing her face as every other morning.
You clicked on the coffee machine and watched brown liquor pouring down into the first one of two white mugs you’d had prepared. Your fingers mindlessly played with the zipper of Miyeon’s big hoodie that you borrowed. Once hers coffee was done, you switched the mugs and waited for another one to fill up. It was your phone beeping that pulled you out of that small coffee trance.
With no thought, you made your way over to the couch and looked for the device for a moment before eventually finding it behind a fluffy pillow. Miyeon and you didn’t have time to clean up the living room last night.
Your phone screen lit up because of your coworkers typing on the group chat. Uninterested, you muted the conversation - it was the weekend after all, you’d catch up with them later.
Once you were in the kitchen again with a comforting cup of hot coffee in your hand and your phone in the other one, you decided to scroll through social media while waiting for Miyeon to stop occupying the bathroom and finally let you know what she’d like for you to cook for breakfast.
That was when it’d popped up.
You dropped the mug, having to reread the article’s title at least two more times. They indeed included photos that showed Miyeon’s heart eyes.
(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and SF9’s Hwiyoung spotted on a romantic night walk by the Han River! The couple of visuals look so in love!
Miyeon ran into the kitchen, panic present in her eyes as she heard glass breaking.
“Everything okay?” She gasped spotting sharp white pieces of the mug scattered on the floor.
“What is this?” You ignored her while nearly shoving your phone into her face.
Miyeon frowned before visibly paling once she got the look at what the issue was.
“Y/N, don’t... It-it’s not what it looks like, okay?” She stuttered.
“You know what that fucking looks like? You’re a cheater, Miyeon. You used me! Are you fucking kidding me right now?” In a sudden rush of anger you sent your phone to the ground.
“Y/N! Calm down-” Miyeon winced, trying to get a hold of your shoulders after hearing the second crack that morning.
“Don’t fucking touch me! You ruined everything. Y-You- Dammit, Miyeon! I can’t stand you. Just leave me alone!” There was nothing she could really do considering the state you were in. You weren’t thinking straight, clouded by jealousy and anger - Miyeon understood that it was no use for her to try and explain the situation to you. She let you go, gave the space you needed and promised herself that she’ll catch you and talk to you only after you cool off.
~
Without her by your side, you were cold.
Even that stupid hoodie bathed in Miyeon’s perfume didn’t help.
With no destination in mind, you walked around the nearest park wondering why on Earth did it have to be you? To finally touch the sky with your long time crush and then be harshly pushed down from one of the clouds.
That Hwiyoung.
His annoyingly perfect face was something you were unable to compare with even in your best make up look. And these stupid words that Miyeon told you last night, that had already engraved deeply into your brain and heart, that you were the prettiest.
How could she?
That was what hurt the most. How could Miyeon so simply flirt with you, her friend when her only goal was to use you. Maybe her and Hwiyoung had a fight and you were her second choice? Maybe she just wanted to forget about him for one short night? Maybe they just started dating and Miyeon thought that cheating at this point wouldn’t count? There were so many maybes, you felt like either throwing up or beating the shit out of someone.
Without her by your side, you felt lonely.
All these people in the park seemed so distant even though they were taking the same paths you were. You felt isolated in your own broken heart. There were no words to describe how furious at Miyeon you were and how at the same time you were already missing the feeling of her arms around you, keeping you safe. Until then, you’d never noticed how selfish she actually was. That’s how blinded you were by your feelings.
~
The next few days were blurry. After coming home from work you’d only lay down on the couch, barely eat and sleep a lot. Sleep was your true escape as even at work half of your coworkers were non stop talking about Korea’s new favorite Visual Couple.
Then on following Friday, almost a week after your argument with Miyeon, she showed up at your door. You were woken up from your nth nap by the sound of doorbell.
“We have to talk, Y/N.” Bambi eyes were determined to make things right, but in her voice you could hear a note of sadness.
You scanned her features for a moment before wordlessly letting her in by opening the door wider.
Just like anyone could imagine, it was painfully awkward at first. You were still half asleep and Miyeon didn’t know where to start.
“For you.” She pulled a single red rose from behind her back and handed it to you.
You only stared at her.
“I expected that one.” She nodded to herself and put the flower on your kitchen table.
“Just start already, Miyeon. I have better things to do.” With a roll of eyes you plopped down on the couch.
“That article you saw wasn’t true.” Her soft voice came from somewhere on your left.
“Everyone is now talking about you two. What do you mean it wasn’t true?” Your arms crossed on your chest.
“It’s just a PR move to attract more viewers. Hwiyoung and I play in a drama called Replay and our companies thought it’d be a good publicity stunt.” You looked at her blankly, after a moment of your eyes on her, Miyeon felt unsure. “Look, I don’t even have his number on my phone.”
She gave you the device and let you scroll through all the contacts. You even search up names like ‘Baby’, ‘Darling’ or ‘Honey’ but nothing came up. With a frown, you gave it back.
“Why didn’t you tell me then? We were catching up last weekend and what? You somehow forgot to mention your new fake boyfriend?”
“I-I had it in mind, but... When I tell you I can’t think straight when I see you I’m not lying. I got so into your stories that I wasn’t even viewing him as anything important. And especially after we kissed, I... I hadn’t thought of him until you showed me that article in the morning.” Miyeon gulped, looking down on her lap. “I’m incredibly sorry, Y/N. I was planning on telling you, but like I said even in the morning, I was just in such a good mood because of you that I wasn’t thinking about my job.”
“If you don’t have his number then...” You started carefully, “How do you meet up for the paparazzi to see?”
“Our companies contact each other. We’re just being dropped at a place, our managers tell us what we should do and what we should look like. That’s basically it. Hwiyoung and I usually talk about dance practices, studio recordings or shooting for our drama. It’s always only about job.” When Miyeon saw you still processing her words, she added “It’s you that I want to talk to about everything else. It’s you that I want to stare at until I fall asleep and it’s you that I want to wake up with. I’m crazily in love with you, Y/N.”
Brave Bambi eyes stayed on you the whole time. She was putting herself out there for you. Putting an end to your friendship as well.
“I’m in love with you too, Miyeon. I’ve been for so long, but gosh you have no idea how terrified I was when I saw that article.” After all this time you were able to finally breath again. As anxiety was slowly leaving your heart, it was roaring loudly in excitement.
“I have an idea. How about we never bring this up again, huh?” Miyeon asked while standing up from her seat and taking a seat on the couch right next to you.
“I think it’s a good idea.” Fondly, you watched her lean in, as your fingers intertwined on your lap. With a happy sigh you got to kiss her again. Frankly speaking, a big part of you was afraid that you’d never get a chance to do so.
“Oh, I almost forgot. Wait here.” Miyeon gave you a quick peck before storming off to her purse. She came back with both of her hands hidden behind her back. “I figured you might need it.”
She handed you a box with a new phone inside. Genuinely speechless you opened your mouth in shock. Such a sweetheart, your brunette knew damn well that you only had an old brick as a spare phone.
“Miyeon-” You began whining, knowing that it was way too much than what you could have asked for.
“Shh, you’ll thank me later.” She winked.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ take the reins, ichigo kurosaki (nsfw)
slightly sub!ichigo loves letting you fuck him back to sleep.
it was such a late night. you knew ichigo was tired the way the boy literally slept like a rock beside you. you were still awake though. you’d got in from work just a few hours ago when it was ichigo’s ‘day off’, one he used to practically sleep for twenty hours straight. you’d settled on just watching the features of your lover as he slept through the rest of the night, but was confused when you heard him let out an awakening yawn before you.
suddenly, ichigo’s beautiful eyes opened up, clearly surprised at your sudden presence beside him. ichigo yawns and speaks. “didn’t know you came home. what time is it?”
“little after three. your heavy ass was knocked out like a log when i got home,” you laughed lightly. “you know how hard it was getting just one of your legs to move over?”
the strawberry blonde let out a tired smile as he bought a large hand to cup your face. naturally, you mirrored his actions and ran your acrylic nail over the smooth of his porcelain skin. you two lovingly stared at each other like you did every night. “sorry, princess,” he raspily chuckled, running his own thumb against the terrain of your mahogany skin. “missed you today.”
“missed you too,” you smiled at him. “you ate the food i cooked for you papa? or did your ass sleep all day?” your eyebrows flattened as you gave him a knowing look.
ichigo chuckled as he scooted your body closer to his. by now, your noses were almost touching, and your bare body was against his. all you were clad in was one of his older shirts and panties. he was only wearing his boxers to bed like he usually did. but the time of night didn’t keep ichigo from bothering to hide the growing boner that was poking your stomach right about now.
“i did, i did. it was really good,” he breathed out. “i went back to sleep after though.” you playfully rolled your eyes at his response. you already knew from the way he completely cleaned out the pots you had left the fresh food in before you left for work.
you both are left in a relaxing silence before ichigo’s eyes falter down to your full lips. “lemme get a kiss.” his voice was hard and tired; but that didn’t stop it from letting his request come out as a very soft demand.
without a second thought, you leaned into his touch and pressed your lips against his. you physically felt ichigo’s hardened body, tired from all his protective soul reaper work, melt into the grasp of your soft hands. you took care of him without even trying; you always did.
you stayed like that for a few minutes, just swallowing each other whole in the pitch black room. you have no complaints when you feel ichigo grab you by the waist and use the very little strength he could muster up to pull you onto his chest. at first, you’re fearful that you may be too heavy for his injuries that were still healing. but at the twitch of you about to get off of him, he grips your hips and slightly forces you down against him.
“‘m fine,” he whispered against your lips. “just let me fuck you.”
you speak in between the pecks of your kisses and give him a stern look. “you need to rest.”
“mama i’m fine,” he whined, coyly rutting his pelvis up into your thin clothed cunt. “rested all day, been wanting to be inside you all damn day. let me, will ya?” you roll your eyes at his sassy attitude before lightly lifting up the shirt you wore, silently giving him permission to continue.
in one swift move, ichigo slides down his boxers before moving your own panty to the side. he runs his wet tip against your even wetter pussy, barely groaning at the easy comparison. the strawberry blonde bites his lip tightly as he slips in you with complete ease.
you audibly gasp as you feel ichigo fill you up within seconds. his large hands press down on your back so your chest is flat against his own, lightly rocking into. “just relax—fuck,” he encouraged.
you moan, lightly lifting and dropping your ass down against him to meet his thrusts. “i s-should be telling you that.”
“shit—i’m supposed to relax when y’er grippin’ me so tight?” ichigo groans, running his hands along your sides. “feel like i’m boutta cum already.”
“don’t nut quick like a teenage boy,” you roll your eyes.
ichigo mirrors your actions, slightly quickening his pace. “tch. might cum way quicker than that.”
at the sound of this, you could tell he’s straining himself, so you rest your hand on his chest and sit up a little. “let me do will the work before you pull a muscle. again.”
ichigo’s face turns red as he exclaims, “that was one time!” but you shut him up with a quick bounce of your hips against him. by now, you were fully riding him, putting all the control in your knees and ankles that were flat against the mattress.
“fuck, daddy,” you let out as you roll yourself against him. “that feel good, pa?”
pleasure is written all over ichigo’s face as his eyes roll to the back of his nodding head. “just like that mama. feel so good—shit.”
leaning forward just a little bit, you turn your head back behind you and you and ichigo watch as your ass bounces up and down against his painfully long cock that was stretching you so good.
minutes pass by when you’re still riding ichigo. your knees were burning as a sign of them starting to give out, but you kept going as a way to treat ichigo for everything he did for you. by the sounds of his low whines—too tired enough to fully be vocal—you knew he was close.
you felt yourself cumming out of nowhere. the knot in your stomach slowly came undone as you looked down and saw a ring of your arousal forming around ichigo’s girth. “baby, ‘m close,” ichigo breathed out heavily. “so fucking close—“
“i know baby,” you cooed, rubbing your hands all along his chest. “you like it when i fuck you back like this? when i take control?” your voice is soft and sensual as you begin to shown praise to ichigo’s body. all the scars and marks on his skin telling a different story. you only saw the effect his job had on him when he was beneath you like this.
“mhm,” ichigo hummed in response. his hands found solace on your clit and began rubbing it in small circles, stimulating you as well. “lemme cum in you—please—shit.”
you can’t help but smirk at his begging. “go ahead baby, nut in this pussy, daddy.” your words are the only confirmation ichigo needs before he’s halting your movements by the hips and rutting his own into you at lightning pace. he was moving pretty fast for someone who needed rest.
“oh fuck, ichi!” you cry out, feeling one last orgasm approach. in the midst of it all, ichigo slips his hand down beneath ur legs and scoops of a mix of both your cum before placing the fingers in his mouth and sucking on them as you began to come down from your high.
with a cheeky grin, the orange haired boy smiled at you. “desert?”

Levi x Birthday! Reader
a birthday hug
Tumblr media
You yawn as you trek your way to the mess hall for some breakfast. Waking up a little later than usual, you hope that you were left with something edible and not just scraps.
Once you turn the corner and enter the mess hall, you notice your squad’s table decked out in pretty lining and enough food to feed an army.
Your face blushes red as you know what’s about to happen.
“Happy birthday, Y/N!”
You smile and wave your hands humbly as your squad cheers you on.
“All of this…for me?” You ask as you look over the table of different breakfast foods.
Petra giggles. “Of course! I made sure Oluo didn’t eat anything.”
“You calling me fat?” Oluo sneers with a click of his tongue.
You laugh and your eyes widen at the slices of meat on a plate. “You got me meat too?! This is all too much guys…”
“You deserve it.” Eld pats you on the back.
Gunther nods his head and ushers you to sit down. “Yeah, you always work hard for our squad.”
Tears of appreciation are starting to fill your eyes as you look up at not only your squad, but your dear friends. “Well…although this food does look amazing, I surely can’t eat all of it myself. You all care join me?”
Oluo helps himself to a spot on the bench. “Don’t mind if I do.”
Eld smiles with a shake of his head. “You can never leave us out of anything, can you?”
You smile as you and your friends start digging into the delicious food, chatting and laughing amongst yourselves.
Suddenly, Levi walks in and stops at the end of the table. “I see you are all making a mess?”
You roll your eyes with a smirk. “Join us, Captain. I will give you a bib to keep your shirt clean.”
Levi very subtly smirks. He enjoys how you can match his sarcasm. “I’ll pass. But happy birthday. After you finish your food, don’t worry about training. Take the day off.”
Your eyes widen in excitement. “Really?!”
Levi leans against the wall with a nod. “As a gift and as appreciation for always putting your best forward, you deserve a break.”
“Thank you, Sir! I’m definitely going to need it because I’m pretty sure I will be going into a food coma after this.” You say as you happily eat your food.
The food coma wasn’t a lie. You found a nice spot outside, under a shady tree, to take a nap. The book you were reading moves gently up and down on your stomach as you snooze away.
A slight shaking of your shoulders wakes you up, and when your vision clears, you see Levi staring at you.
“You weren’t lying about that food coma.” He says as he sits next to you on the grass.
Yawning and rubbing the sleep blur from your eyes, you laugh softly. “I told you I was going to knock out. You on break from training?”
Levi nods. “Yes, because I had to give you this.” He reaches behind his back and hands you a small, blue box.
“A gift?” You gleam and take the lid off, gasping as you see the content inside. “No way!” You dig out a purple silk scarf. “A purple scarf?! But purple pigment is so hard to get!”
Levi shrugs his shoulders and looks forward, too shy to watch you rave at his gift. “When you’re a big time captain, anything is easy to get.”
You continue to admire the scarf, feeling the smoothness of the silk glide against your fingers and taking in the shimmer of the purple fabric. “It’s really beautiful, Levi. I love it so much. Thank you.”
Tears fill your eyes as you look at him. “Permission to hug you, Captain?”
Levi freezes at the unexpected request. He’s not the touchy-feely type. Actually, he doesn’t even know if he’s hugged anyone before, but how can he deny a request from someone as sweet as you.
“Sure.” He agrees quietly.
You grin as you fall forward and wrap your arms around his shoulders, giving them a small squeeze. “Thank you!”
Levi awkwardly raises his arms to hug you back, softly patting your back with his hands. “It’s no problem. Happy birthday.”

Fool For Love
part 3
~~~
part 1, part 2
~~~
Author’s Note: First of all, thank you for the lovely comments! 🥰 Second, I’m writing this as I go, so while I’ll try to post every other day, it might come a point when I’m not done on time. Just so you know if it suddenly takes longer for the next part to be posted.

Astarion x reader/Tav
Tags: (mild?) angst, pining, pining while fucking, jealousy, eventual happy ending
Summary: You thought you knew what you were doing when you let Astarion into your bed. He doesn’t have feelings for you, and vice versa. Only… now you do. And you’re not handling it very well.
~~~
It’s almost sundown when you and the others are back at the camp again. It’s been a good day, all in all. You were able to stock up on potions and scrolls, and Karlach sweet-talked her way into a good deal on a handaxe. Not that you were there to watch it happen — Halsin’s favour had you talking to both the new leader of the Druids, Francesca, and Rath, the latter engaging you in a longer conversation than originally planned. Not that you minded, Rath is a good conversationalist. And quite handsome.
Yes, you did notice, but you kept it polite, not at all in the mood for flirting. Not when your thoughts continuously drifted back to a certain vampire that declined tagging along at the last minute.
It’s embarrassing to admit, but your eyes roam Halsin’s tent when you search him out to relay the information you gathered today. It’s probably a coincidence that Astarion decided to remain, but you can’t help but look for signs of someone sharing Halsin’s bed.
If Halsin sees you snooping, he doesn’t confront you about it, and you feel silly when you leave him to find the others. Who he sleeps with is none of your business, and you tell yourself that this is enough. Either you get over yourself, or you let Astarion go.
Which is easier said than done.
“Hey Karlach, let me see that axe of yours.” The rest of your party is gathered around the fire, preparing tonight’s meal. “From what I hear, I should bring you every time I need to haggle down the price for something.”
“Look at this beauty!” Karlach happily shows you her new weapon. “I’m going to polish it tomorrow, really bring out the shine it deserves.”
“How come you weren’t there, Tav?” Astarion sounds nonchalant, like he couldn’t care less but decides to ask anyway.
“I believe Tav had more important things to do.” Trust Lae’zel to come to your rescue.
“Halsin wanted some updates from the Grove,” you add.
“Mhmm, but surely that’s not the only reason why you talked for so long with Rath, Tav?” Shadowheart teases. “It seemed like you two really hit it off.”
“Yeah, he’s cute, Tav. Go for it!”
You want to look at Astarion, but you force yourself to turn your attention to Karlach instead, making sure to sound as casual as possible. “He’s nice, but…” You already have someone. “Perhaps you should go for him, Karlach, if you find him cute?”
“Nah, I have my eyes on someone else.”
It’s adorable, the way she lights up, and you wish you could hug her. “Hmmm, might this be a blacksmith we all know?”
“Tav!”
“This is secret to none, Karlach,” Lae’zel says. “Even a blind fool couldn’t help but notice the way you swooned when he helped you in the Grove.”
“I didn’t swoon!”
“There was definitely some swooning happening,” Shadowheart chimes in. “We all saw it.”
“Aaaanyway…! This was about Tav, not me.”
Dammit. You should’ve left for your tent when you had the chance. “No, no, I think we should talk more about you and Dammon.”
“Come on, Tav.”
“Yes, Tav, tell us all about your conversation with Rath.”
For a moment you somehow forgot that Astarion is there, too. “There’s nothing to tell. He’s just nice and easy to talk to.”
“Hmm, you’re not very convincing, Tav.”
With a groan, you turn to the wizard. “Not you too, Gale.” For someone so hung up on his ex, he sure looks jealous over the fact that you might be interested in someone else. “I know you all probably only mean well, but if you don’t drop this right now…”
You expect either Astarion or Lae’zel to make some kind of comment, but none of your companions say a peep. There’s an awkward silence for a few tension-filled moments and you wonder if you sounded too harsh. They only want your best, after all.
Thankfully, Shadowheart steps in, clearing her throat. “I think our food is ready.”
Once you sit down to eat, you watch them all as they talk and laugh. It feels like usual again, and you’re reminded how lucky you are to have come across such amazing people in this extraordinary situation life put you in.
Your gaze rests a little bit longer on your lover. He’s always beautiful, but it’s entrancing the way the flickering flames seem to caress his cheekbones, the arch of his nose. His smile. He’s laughing at something Lae’zel just said, and going by the look on her face, it wasn’t meant to be funny.
It’s quite the motley crew you’re leading — and you wouldn’t want it any other way.
You freeze when you suddenly find yourself locking eyes with Astarion. He isn’t supposed to catch you staring, and you quickly look away even though you know it’s too late. You wait a few minutes, and when you glance in his direction again, he’s talking to Gale.
Why must it be so difficult? Are you making it more difficult than it needs to be? You want to be with him and only him, so why not just ask it of him? If he says no, you’ll at least know instead of always wondering. And if he says yes, maybe he’ll grow to love you back.
Once again, you wish you had someone to talk to — and after today you think you can confide in Karlach — but it feels good to have come to a decision. Hopefully you can get him alone after dinner, because you would prefer to have it done before the stargazing Gale has planned.
You allow yourself to imagine the two of you lying next to each other in the grass, holding hands, smiling. Or his arm around you, holding you near.
You refuse to think about the other option, even though it’s the far more likely outcome.
For now, you’re going to pretend that everything’s going to be alright.
Nokto Klein - Beyond the Connection Between the Past and the Present – Event Summary
This is mostly a summary for me - I make no promises on the accuracy of what’s happening. I’m not nearly fluent enough to get half the jokes/innuendo much less accurate plot points.
When Emma pokes her head out of the blankets one morning, she blearily sees familiar gray hair and red eyes. Oh, was Nokto watching her sleep again? How embarrassing.
Her voice full of sleep, Emma calls out to Nokto and asks if there’s something wrong. When he doesn’t reply, Emma surmises that he must want to be pampered today. Reaching a hand out from under the blankets, Emma combs his hair back.
Nokto giggles, telling her that she’s ticking him. Weirdly, he also calls her ‘big sister’.
. . .
Huh?
Was Nokto’s head always so little? And was his voice always so prepubescent? Emma looks closer at Nokto, but he was standing instead of kneeling next to the bed. Was Nokto always so short?
Suddenly Nokto, in all his adult glory walks into the room, breezily wishing Emma a good morning and asking if she’s awake yet.
He stops when he sees the kid and there’s a long silence. Nokto breaks it, asking Emma to explain the situation to him.
After the explanations are over, and Nokto has taken a nice long look at the kid, he guesses that this himself as a child.
Tumblr media
(This, but a smaller head)
Lil’Nokto asks if this is what he’s like as an adult, and Nokto admits that, unfortunately, he is.
Lil’Nokto asks what he means by ‘unfortunately’ and Nokto admits that he’s bad with children.
Emma muses that Nokto’s past self really is here with them, and Nokto wonders if this is some sort of dream. Experimentally, Emma pinches her cheek.
Lil’Nokto is aghast - doesn’t she know that if she does that, her face will freeze and never return?
How cute!
Emma assures Lil’Nokto that she’s fine, see?
Oh, okay, that is true. Still, Lil’Nokto urges her to take better care of herself, he doesn’t want anything to happen to her beautiful face.
Emma asks Nokto how she can endure this . . . This unfiltered cuteness. Nokto grumbles that she never reacts like that when he says sweet stuff too.
Of course, just in case she’s wondering, Nokto also thinks she’s beautiful.
Her face going red, Emma thanks him. Wow, there really is something different when the adult calls her beautiful.
Well, as much fun as it is competing with some kid for Emma’s affections, they do need to figure some things out. He asks Lil’Nokto what he was doing before he arrived in the future.
Lil’Nokto has an easy answer - he was with his brother Licht, have they seen him?
As Nokto replies that he hasn’t seen Licht, Emma imagines running into adult!Licht, who would be as confused as the rest of them.
Lil’Nokto is worried, he needs to find Licht in order to return home. If he can’t find Licht, and is alone with his mother . . .
. . .
Thinking fast, Nokto ‘remembers’ seeing Licht. It looked like he had found adult!Licht and last he saw, they were riding a horse together. They’ll probably be back after dark.
An adult version of Licht!? Lil’Nokto sounds excited.
Well, there’s no point in worrying about it until after dark, so why don’t they do whatever they want? It looks like Emma over there is dying to feed them some sweets!
Turning to her, Lil’Nokto asks if it’s true, which it is. Emma promises to make him anything he likes, and he promises that he loves everything.
Okay, Emma will just have to make a variety.
Suddenly Lil’Nokto gasps and points - Emma has an injury! That red oval mark, right on her neck.
As Lil’Nokto panics, adult!Nokto has to turn away to laugh. He assures Lil’Nokto that while it may be red, Emma doesn’t find it painful at all.
Huh?
Oh-ooooh. The hickey Nokto left last night.
Her cheeks growing red with embarrassment, Emma assures him that she’s fine and thanks him for being worried for her.
Anyways, while she’s cooking, Nokto will take care of Lil’Nokto. He has so many things he wants to teach him while Emma is away . . .
When Emma returns with tea and snacks, they begin playing a card game. A card game that Emma immediately loses. Weird, she used to be pretty decent at cards.
It’s down to Nokto and Lil’Nokto, with Nokto pronouncing the sweets go to the winners. Lil’Nokto cheers at this, and dives in. When they had started, Lil’Nokto had been hesitant about eating, but with Nokto’s idea to use sweets as the reward, any hesitation Lil’Nokto had is gone.
Lil’Nokto begins to ask to play again- this time with a different reward but falls silent.
While he stuffs himself with more sweets, Emma leans into Nokto and asks what he was talking about while she was in the kitchen.
Oh, not much. He just wanted to give Lil’Nokto some advice that would come in handy.
Huh, maybe he was giving him card game tips?
Emma pronounces that for the next card game, she’s not going to go easy on Lil’Nokto just because he’s a child. From now on, she’ll go all out.
Lil’Nokto is surprised - Emma wasn’t being serious?
(She was, she had gone all out)
In that case, Lil’Nokto agrees not to go easy on her either, he won’t hold back anymore.
What a challenge! Nokto pronounces the winner gets to ask the loser for anything. Anything at all.
This is a little more interesting than gambling for sweets, right?
Emma braces herself; she can’t lose.
One loss later . . .
Emma sits with her head down. She is the loser, and depending on who wins the next round, she’ll have to reward either Nokto or Lil’Nokto with anything they want.
They both play their last cards, and the winner is . . . Lil’Nokto. Emma can’t help but catch the glimpse of a card in Nokto’s sleeve, he had been cheating on his younger self’s behalf.
A win is a win. Nokto reminds Lil’Nokto that he can claim his victory from Emma, but what will he request?
Lil’Nokto barely has to think - does she remember earlier that morning when she stroked his head? He wants her to do that again.
Emma complies, gently stroking Lik’Nokto’s hair. It’s so soft and fluffy. Lil’Nokto murmurs that her hand is so warm and nice, he could stay like this for ever.
To her surprise, Nokto has a sad and lonely expression. Emma asks if something is wrong, and Nokto admits that there was a time that he was like this.
Okay then.
Emma beckons Nokto to join them. He does, telling Emma that she doesn’t have to do this.
Okay, but she wants to.
Well, fine. If it’s what she wants, he’ll indulge her.
Though there is no guarantee this will last beyond this moment, Emma wants both Nokto and Lil’Nokto to feel happy.
Both are important to her.
